Has everything seemed really dead for the whole community or is it just me? On tumblr but also in general. Has been feeling really quiet and lonely on my dash and stuff :(

It comes and goes in waves. Once the next special gets announced we will see an uptick and then new season in 2024 will also get things going. This is a typical off-season energy

For context, Jin is the name of the one with dark hair and glasses- my OC, that I ship with Yui. The song, Lower One's Eyes / ロウワー by nulut / Lanndo has been on my brain lately and it's just occured to me how perfectly they fit into it so... brainworms took over

I'm planning on doing October art challenges this year, so I'll be redrawing this at the end and hopefully by then I'll improve!

It's Winter Solstice and I FEEL. SO MUCH.

It's been so lovely getting back into making gifsets and edits but it's time to take a pause and honor all that's happened in these past six months.

I've always been highly attuned to the moon cycles, sun cycles, and seasonal shifts so I've been getting especially restless these past two days. Sleep is inconsistent, constantly waking up brimming with ideas and potential.

Not only is it time for big shifts in the year, but also in my life. Everything feels so potent now, like I'm reaching a precipice ready to jump into a beautiful unknown where I get to rise up and into something incredible.

I miss and love being back on Tumblr so much for all the ways it reawakens my past that I buried away from myself. All my shame and fear rewritten as I return to myself, healed and healing. It feels like a portal to my past, like I'm putting messages in a bottle that will never get to my child self on my blog. Things really do get better. That phrase used to fill me with anger, like it was all a lie to make me feel better but man was I wrong.

I still can barely wrap my head around all the incredible things I've brought into my life. I still can't believe that in the eyes of younger self, my most hopeless self, that I've essentially turned every single dream she thought was never possible into a reality. I am actively rewriting what my dreams are and making my way towards them. I see the pathways opening up. I have so much potential it keeps me up at night.

So yes, I have so much I want to do in terms of fun little Tumblr edits for fandoms that fill my heart but I also have SO MUCH within myself outside of that in which I am building. It is terrifying and it is beautiful. It is a testament to my strength for that piece of me that believes I was so weak. I felt so unseen, unloved, with no value.

Now, my community is seeing me.. calling to me, inviting me to turn my dreams into reality. They want to build me up and support me. And for once, I'm finding myself let go of my imposter syndrome. I find myself believing in my capabilities and knowing my worth.

Big things are coming for me.
