So i headcanon that demons (maybe angels too) have more than 1 heart…

Imagine that one day your demon darling invite you to dinner and ofc you agree! So you’re talking with them waiting for ur meal then it arrives. On the plate it’s a cooked DEMON heart and it’s not just any demon heart it’s your demon’s heart. Them smiling and said “do you like it?”

Apparently, demon do that to express love to their mates and it’s also one of the most imtimate ways (in demon’s sense) to show love.

Azalea and Melanie are characters of a webcomic I'm making ! It's just a little passion project that I'm slowly working on. (emphasis on slowly)

Theo is just a nickname. His actual name is Theodore. MC's name is still TBD.

They're also gonna be in a comic thing :D but more episodic and slice of life-y instead of an overarching plot.

Kian makes pipe bombs in his basement.

Kian is based on a rock I got on a random beach. I took a picture of it and put a bunch of stickers and gave it a personality a few years ago bc I thought it would be cute 💀 I have other rocks that still needs to be gijinka-fied LMAO (my fave is this one beach glass named Kelsey)

I was debating on naming the jester clown guy JJ but i decided against it, it's cute but ehh idk.. I might change my mind on it if I can't think of anything.

Kian and friends + the jester guy + that one teeth guy that I didn't include here (whoops) are mostly just one-offs and don't really have an ongoing story. I made them mostly cause I wanted to design a cool looking character. Maybe I'll do smthn with the rock friends but I don't really have any ideas :P

Nigel and Gabriel are part of this western cowboy universe thing I'm doing on the side. A lot of wonderful people have made ocs for it :DD !!!

You just made me realize for the first time since I've been drawing these guys. The person I have known the longest irl (met him in fourth grade and am still in touch with him) is a Scorpio. Holy moly.

If you want my opinion, I think we should give Lone Wolf the benefit of the doubt, yes it does look a little bit cheap in some areas but the game does look pretty fun and both the art and characters are still on point. Alice and Sammy are also returning so that’s a plus! I think it’s best that we stay optimistic for this game and Bendy’s future.

That's fair and I respect your opinion, I think my thing is I'm worried people are too optimistic about Bendy's future games being better than the ones they've already created because the team behind Bendy is very anti-listening to feedback. Which means it's likely these games won't improve unless fans make a bigger push to be more critical of them and show the devs they won't spend their money unless the team can prove they care about this franchise and aren't gonna let the polish drain just because it makes more money.

I criticize Bendy not because I want it to die or be bad, I only do it because I hope one day either 1. A competitor rises up and gives the fans essentially a better version of Bendy that they deserve and they can use my feedback and others to see where it can be improved. or 2. The bendy team listens to my feedback and the general fandom's to make future games better. Plus generally get their act together.

As it stands the trailer is rushed and cheap, which is bad because a trailer for a game should be the most polished part of the affair. I mean this is what is supposed to convince people to buy the game when it comes out! I had the same problems with The Cage and I'm unhappy to see this becoming a pattern. [I mean that's a game I'm even more confident is going to horribly crash and burn cause I honestly don't know why'd they make a midquel to a game which everyone hated the ending of-]

Look. I understand some people feel a sort of loyalty to the Bendy devs, it's hard not to feel like you're in some sort of friendship when it comes to such a small indie team. But at the end of the day you have to remember defending them when they mess up only gives them more reasons to ignore feedback and most of all you don't know Mike or Meatly as people outside of what they Choose to show in their public image. So when the public image they've crafted is one that's bad and leaves people worried about how the games they're making are gonna turn out. Nobody can be blamed but them. And if you really care about them and/or Bendy it's better to boost feedback even if it's negative.

Like sure Sammy and Malice are returning but look at the treatment they got in Dark Revival! Meatly and Mike have never addressed how poorly done the original characters were in that game and I think it's cause far as they're concerned it was perfectly fine and people are complaining about nothing. [That or enough people didn't seem to care for it to matter to them whether that point was valid or not] Despite the fact Sammy was shot down for a gag after finally speaking up [and was in a ton of Dark Revival marketing material] and Malice was nothing more than a rip off of her chapter 3 self with no interesting changes, we never got to hear her thoughts on how the world is doing, on how she feels now hearing her enemy, the ink demon, was supposedly killed, or on Wilson, the keepers, etc. I mean it was a huge waste and with the promise Sammy will be 'restored to his Chapter 2 glory' I want to call this poor writing out now rather than wait for the cage to come out and pretend I never saw it coming.

Criticism is a good thing for Bendy, we should embrace it rather than shunning or discouraging it. I hope most of us can agree on that. Even if I seem harsh, I would rather lean towards that, than risk going too easy with my words and being ignored by the devs.

Because I have no Idea how to draw him since I don't know how tall he is or how old he is.

Like is he a 5 or 6 Year Old Kid?

Is he born just a Regular Child or born a Prodigy?

And will he like Bear Toons? Since he Love anything related to Bears?

Like he will go crazy that any Products like Food and Toys including Clothing that has a Bear on it.

I can't properly answer any of these, since I'm not apart of the team or anything, so everything I say after this is purely speculation and/or just random thoughts. I assume that, even if Bobby Jr is not added physically into the game, he'll be mentioned plenty of times (especially around April Toons with Thomas's dialogues). Especially if Crystalline is added to the game, since it's been established that the entire Cyger family has some issues going on. As for height, you can kind of estimate his height based on this photocard of him and the Chairman. He's shorter than the Chairman (who has an ingame model that can be compared to other managers). I assume he's at most half of Chairmans height. Do NOT leave him outside with a giant hawk. He's very obviously a child, I always imagine an age that's somewhere in the early-middle of elementary school, like maybe 7 or 8? Truthfully I only assign age ranges to characters, not specific numbers, makes it easier. Either way, I can't see him being in middle school yet.

I think the idea of him seeing a bear toon and getting really excited would be kind of funny. He ends up having to be dragged away by Robert.

i think the sketch looks silly and goofy and funny so i find it important to share with you the mere presence of the faces i drew on it. i drew it on top of the boxes without staying inside its borders because i find my proportions can get wonky if i draw them cropped in a restricted space. and I feel trapped otherwise and i will draw BAD!!! give me spaceeeee to go wild!!!!

the head circles are there for emotional support

very low res speedpaint because truth is the canvas was much bigger than the space where my comic was placed. i didnt account when exporting my timelapse in 720px that that tiny space would look so pixelated ... but it's able to be percieved, so its okay.

(i will now comment on my process and it is not brief sorry)

usually i would try to clean up my sketches and figure out what goes on top before jumping into linework, but since there are multiple panels and drawings i chose to jump into inking right away for the sake of brevity. i just went in with a brush that uses pen pressure and drew what was needed. i added extra line thickness and contrast in areas around the face because it helps direct your eyes there more easily that way.

according to her equipment rei has a chain belt but i only remembered it existed once I was going to color, and i did not like that discovery... I chose to ignore it to maintain my peace. i already have the color palettes for these characters figured out, and i didnt really want to think about a new element at the moment www I tend to overthink those things a lot so i skipped it

the rest is rather straightforward! not that anything else wasn't, but in here i could turn my brain off and sing. linework and sketching require mumbling so i cannot turn my brain off. just block in the characters with a solid color so i can have a mask (something along those lines,) where the color can stay inside. then just color in !!!

Base colors just had slight cell shading on the skin, and for the hair i airbrush a bit of the skincolor in low opacity near the forehead... I'm not sure what it means, but i can look at the faces easier with it somehow. i like the gentle subtlety it adds even if you cant really tell. it makes things look nice.

background was just me blocking in the color of the wall and floor, shade the wall a bit, then slap a noise and free use wood texture on top. work smarter not harder ! yet it took a bit to make it look stylistically fitting with the characters, and even now i think bottom middle panel looks odd. whatever!!!

for the middle panel i thought itd be funny if the background was a solid silly and colorful one to contrast the next panel's sketchy black one. a contrast to how the word widow is seen. on that note my handwritting is not pointy. i gaslighted my hand into thinking that it was indeed pointy in that moment so i could write "not-yet dead person" in letters that didn't seem cute. my hand did not fall for it but it complied anyway

that's basically it! I'm not sure what else i could say that doesn't feel barebones because it really is that straightforward. if you're curious I used clip studio paint for this. only special brush used was for linework (a brush named Lemon Brush), the rest used were just the default. my computer gets the least credit. it was trying to convince me a 20mb file was going to nuke it all the time and hardly let me save multiple times so i do not appreciate it

I think these concepts of putting your favorite characters into such a rich and interesting world and the allure of making them benders is fun and I enjoy it myself from time to time but. There is Something be said about inserting white characters into an inherently poc centered story and world that draws inspiration from those cultures, so it falls kinda flat. (And could even come across as tasteless since the story is again inherently a poc one and has such political? I guess. Themes as like the main conflict ignoring it kinda takes away from half the worldbulding or whatever. Whaaateeeverr idk)

Again this isn't like hate to people with atla AUs I enjoy them but idk food for thought.

Luck's head swayed to the side, larimar eyes glimmering with something more beneath them, wild golden locks obscuring parts of his face. He let his knees inch away from his chest and loosely unfold the perfect cocoon he was wrapped in, elbows and forearms resting against his legs, hands playing with the white drawstrings of his baggy teal hoodie.

He curled the snowy thread around his finger, flipped it over, pulled it up and down, methodically twisted it - he ran his hand through a million-and-one different motions all within seconds. The air grew heavy with his quietness, a stark, uncomfortable contrast to the strings of words and teases that usually slipped nonstop from the live wire.

To the other, the silence was nothing short of unbearable and nigh deafening. But he waited. He waited, and watched as Luck's lips scrunched to the side - the rare indicator of him biting the inside of his cheek, deep in thought or consideration. An infrequent habit Luck had formed back when words were all too much, all too-consuming and demanding; somedays, it still felt that way.

Then, after what felt like hours but couldn't have been longer than a minute, it came. A quiet, hesitant word, a knife that cut through the thickened space between them;

"Why?"

And, well, that was a loaded question.

It was one word. Simple, short, and plain--except nothing really, truthfully was simple or plain with Luck. It just liked to appear that way on the surface; a wolf dressed in sheep's clothing. Presented problems and looming shadows hidden behind tied ribbons and drawn curtains - a thousand spiraling thoughts dismissed with the same old intricate smile.

But behind it came all the possibilities. All the individual branches of why, all muddled by past experience or an assumption of what was inevitably to happen. And Magna had some solid guesses for most of them.

Why don't you hate me? Why do you keep staying? Why haven't you left already? Why are you here? Why haven't you given up on me? Why aren't you like everybody else?

If there were ever a time and a place for it, Magna would fire back some of his own - why do you always think I'm going to leave your ass? Why is it like you can't believe I give a shit about you? Why do you always act like I'm going to disappear the second you take your eyes off me?

Though if there was one, it certainly wasn't now. Not when Luck was hunched up like this, curled in as if he had to hold himself together by force, a thread dangerously close to snapping; not when Magna was sitting quietly on the end of his bed, hands stationary and sunglasses idly placed upon the bedpost; not when the world was abandoned outside the boarded window, friends and adventures temporarily forgotten to dwell in the pit of a barren self-perceived internal wasteland.

So, instead, he sighed and ran a hand through his hair, shoulders rising and falling to expel the weight of the situation from him. He let the words of what to say bubble up in his chest, head desperately reeling to find the right ones. Damn you, he'd curse in his head.

Honestly, yeah, damn Luck. Damn him and his ability to make Magna think of all these things, to make his world more than just a stage play-by-play that he wasn't even the protagonist of. Damn Luck and the way he gave everything he did and said some kind of meaning; gave his life a meaning beyond the repetitive simplicity of school, baseball, video games, and friends. Damn Luck and his addictive smiles that lit up a room, that made Magna's own chest overfill with puddy-like euphoria, that made Magna crave the sound of his laughter and the sight of his joy more than anything else. Damn Luck for making him want to be something more than what he simply was born as, to be something to Luck, like a backboard one could lean on.

Damn Luck for making him a better man. Completely fuck that guy, really.

But, as much as he loathed to admit, he'd go through this routine. Again, and again, and again; the disc tirelessly on loop, never-ending repetition that, unlike all else, unlike every other boring monotonous humdrum aspect of the day or week, never seemed to grow dull. Maybe that was Luck's fault. Maybe there were scratches on the CD, or maybe there was a malfunction on the player--but it was their own special tune, expertly crafted by whatever this hell of a life had in store.

He'd commit to this, for however many times Luck needed him; needed the gentle (or not-so-gentle) reminder that he was loved, cared for, worried about, whatever else. Even if his own brain refused to believe it, partly refused to even dare to let himself have it, Magna wasn't about to back down and let him win this one. He'd done enough of letting things go unseen, unspoken, and left stowed beneath poorly painted-over cracks when they were kids. And now he'd spend a lifetime trying to unravel all of this mess; trying to understand his problems, rather than demand them to be fixed. If that meant soggy shoulders, empty pudding containers, and conveniently misplaced jackets, then Magna could cope with that.

Because that's what you do for someone you love, no matter how big a pain in the ass they are.
