daydreaming about a very sleepy reader with Dr. Ratio – he swears it doesn't matter what time of day he gets home, he sees you snoozing away on the living room sofa. he scowls a little the first few times – he wants your attention when he gets home like some sort of lost puppy. but those scowls fade into little smiles at how peaceful you look all splayed out on the sofa. he's happy at least one of you is getting enough rest and peace of mind.

when he came home today, he found you laying in your usual spot on the sofa – awake, but hardly cognizant. he sighs a little, today is the one day he wishes you were actually up and awake to greet him back home – he could really use it right now after such a frustrating day.

he strides over to you – footsteps dragging across the rug a little roughly from how tired he feels – and his eyes narrow into dangerous slits.

"you're a mess." he blurts out, crossing his arms.

"yeah?" you mumble, sounding like you were brushing him off.

after he rolls his eyes and before he can walk away, you grab his hand and mutter teasingly,

"but i'm your mess."

he sighs as he blushes, and then promptly throws a pillow at your face.
