ok so basically, he picked me up at my house at around 6 am in the morning and we were both half asleep but we pushed on nonetheless (he had to properly sell/convince me on the idea of a road trip because i despised the idea of waking up so early) 😭 we had made a playlist beforehand and that’s what we listened to for most of the trip (my parts of the playlist were filled with taylor songs and tbh he memorized most of them after being around me so much so we sung along together :’) ) AND YOU WERE RIGHT… HAND ON THIGH… pretty sure i could not focus on much else after that… i swear i was suddenly so stiff

we were in that car for 4+ hrs so it was a lot of talking and little touches here and there and it was so lovely honestly bc i love spending time with him 🥲 a lot of the talking was about places we want to go to together since we were younger/generally about things we did a lot together which i probably teared up at some point bc reminiscing memories makes me so mushy 🥹

at some point we ended up at a restaurant for some brunch and this was when he gave me the little paper rings!!! mine was pink and his was dark purple and they had this heart in the center of both of them, he also put his name on mine and my name on his and yes i decided to be a fucking idiot and did not make a move at this very moment even tho i almost did!!!! (the whole “is this a marriage proposal?” “might be” bit i told you about 😭)

this restaurant was super pretty and had a little view so he took candids of me and i was so 🥹 and like one of the staff members asked if we wanted a photo of the both of us by the pretty view and we agreed, the photo turned out so cute 😭 for context he’s pretty tall compared to me (i’m 5’1 and a half… he’s 6’1) and he likes resting his head on top of mine when we stand close and that’s what he did while back hugging me in the photo 🥲

after this, we drove a little more to get to this museum i’d told him about once, the paintings and sculptures there were so pretty :( i cant help but go a lil crazy still thinking abt it but we held hands the entire time and i was a little embarrassed bc im ngl,,, my hands were kinda sweaty at that point 😭 

okay so this is where shit starts to happen

once we’d gone through the entire museum, we went to the park that was outside the museum, it was pretty empty around the area we were in, he actually brought a little mat + he packed me sour patch kids bc he knows i like sour gummies 🤭

at some point i was leaning against his side and we were kind of in some kind of comfortable silence and honestly i was contemplating everything at this point bc i was like he likes me… doesn’t he?? yeah he definitely does… but then again what if he doesn’t— and basically i was just spiraling THEN i look at him and he’s looking at me and he hits me with the “can i…” THEN HES JUST LOOKING AT MY LIPS AND I SWEAR I WENT INSANE and i literally just nodded and it happened… we kissed 🧍‍♀️ it was one of those gentle kisses too ugh :(

after that he said something along the lines of “for being the smartest person i know, you’re painfully oblivious” 🤡 and my dumbass tried to argue but then he starts bringing up the little signs he’s been leaving to try and hint at the fact that he likes me and i couldn’t argue bc… he’s right, unfortunately 

then he’s just extra extra affectionate after that 🤭🤭🤭 like we decided to just stay in the car for a bit before we drove back home after the whole park situation and he starts being so cute just telling me how glad he is that “it finally happened” and i felt so loved in that moment and i realized how much he means to me bc hearing him say all of that was such a wonderful thing for me :’) 

andddd nowwwww, i can’t get this man to leave me for longer than 5 seconds NEJDKWKD not that i’m complaining at all tho, i like having him around so much, it’s so comforting <3

Innocent Steps (2005)

Plot: Former acclaimed dancer Na Young-sae attempts to make a comeback after his opponent, Hyun-soo, purposely injures him at a dance competition. To his surprise, Young-sae learns Chae-ryn knows nothing about dancing and her soon-to-be married, older sister, Jang Chae-min, is the talented dancer. With only three months until the national dance championship, Young-sae trains Chae-ryn, vowing to turn her into a world-class dancer.

Damn. Just. Damn. No one does a movie like South Korea. I can’t remember the last time I cried at a film. Innocent Steps had me snivelling like a newborn. I have points in my notes that just says “Oh shit. Its sad” and “Why AM I CRYING?!”. At first glance, it doesn’t seem like much. It certainly didn’t seem like my cup of tea, but I shrugged off my doubts, and rightfully so because I do not regret watching this one. Although slow paced it drew me in from the very beginning. As someone who isn’t a mushy, lovey-dovey sorta gal, this film was perfect for me with a sweet, innocent, slow burn love.

It was harsh in places, especially where Hyun-soo (Yoon Chan) purposely injures Na Young-sae (Park Gun-hyung), not once but twice. Like, it ain’t that deep, bub. There was also a part where Young-sae’s dance studio manager, Ma Sang-doo (Park Won-sang) beats Jang Chae-ryn (Moon Geun-young) for not being who she says she was and my jaw dropped. From the very begging I thought that Ma Sang-doo was shady and I was right (More on that later).

There are some comedic elements like the two inspectors who lowkey stalk the main couple in the dumbest yet most hilarious ways. They had me wheezing occasionally which wasn’t great since we all know my dumbass decided to watch this film at like 4am.

The two leads had great chemistry and I found myself believing their relationship even before they fell in love which, like, A+ for achieving that. The female lead Jang Chae-ryn  is like super adorable in this and one thing I did notice about   Na Young-sae is that he had one nice butt and overall the film was cheesy but in a cute and endearing way.

BACK TO MA SANG-DOO, I said he was shady and I was right, he’s a money-grabbing greedy shit in this and i don’t like him. Like he practically sells Jang Chae-ryn to Hyun-soo and I almost rioted.. Until i remembered I was watching a film that is.

Because Na Young-sae is injured once more, Jang Chae-ryn has no choice but to dance with Hyun-soo at the dance competition but its all good cause she fuckin nails it lads. AND NA YOUNG-SAE WATCHED and I cried, cause I’m a pussy. And then my wifi cut out like a lil bitch, BUT I GOT IT BACK and saw the end but I won’t spoil it cause you need to watch it.

3. Fleaswallow/Cheap Cheap - look ive been a fan of the weird headcanon of ‘The chicken is a convict’ and think itd be great for this one. Theyd smonk weed and plan new ways to sell their stuff together

4. Mushi or Guru Ant/ Takoyama - hehe the octopus has a thing for invertebrates :P i obviously like him with Mushi, but ive warmed up a lot to him bein with Guru Ant as well 💜 fan favorites gettin paired togetherr

6. Teriyaki Yoko and Paul Chuck - i think it hilarious how they were goin on a dinner date in the newer anime and it makes sense too; only a man as tough and off his rocker as him would like the demon of the maybe-hell place

1. startin off this series with Naruhina because i like it as much as Parapp and Lams 💖 -from the Naruto series

They inspire and help each other out so much and hhhhh needless to say im extremely happy with how the series progressed 😻😻 like unbelievably happy, i have to hurry up and watch it all and squee over it

2. Ive super duper liked marceline/princess bubblegum ever since that one episode clearly hinted at feelings in that one episode with the witch and the shirt and the kitty alarm clock that i need 💗 - from Adventure Time

they like each otherrr, they have for a whiile, so imagine my excitement when certain things happen in AT, which has ended recently :’S i seriously have to rewatch and marathon the show to see it myself

3. Deku and Ocharaka. Uraka, CHOCOLATE im so terrible at remembering their names :’D 💔💝 - from My Hero Academia

i just recently started watchin BNHA and i gotta say, i adore it and i adore these two 😻 it just so cute,,,, seein em interact on screen is so adorable in itself, i gotta keep watching to catch up on the series because i love it overall

4. And for something from a series not so sweet and fluffyyy, Bubba/Leatherface and Stretch, whichever her last and real name is because i keep forgetting iittt 💓💖 - from TCM2

This movie is the first in the series that i’ve watched (ive since bingewatched every single other installment...even the two not-so-goods ones shiver), and i absolutely loved each second they interacted on screen,, =w= its just. so cute, and oddly sweet for the movie it is. It’s a sad shame it wasn’t too developed and all, but i still utterly love it ;w; ❤️️❣️💝💕

and finally 5. Lapidot because of course; loving Steven Universe as much as i do of course it makes it onto the list 💚💙💚💙

I remember startin to like em as a  pair waay before they were introduced to each other (because whadya know, i saw some cute arts and was hooked), but then the series progressed, Rebecca did some cute arts of em also, i just love em together and need to watch more SU

He LOVES to pull pranks!! Just harmless, fun ones, and he feels like they have to be on “equal footing,” so to speak, so no pranking teachers/bosses/older adults or little kids in general (with the exception of his dads), but it’s definitely there. Shawn and Emily are two favorites

The BRIGHTEST? oof, that’d probably be pleasant surprises.

I can see him going with a dark maroon for the hair. It’d be fun/not a natural hair color that he might justify dying his hair, while still being understated enough to not be competing with his casino-sign-reincarnated-as fashion outfits (he actually does put effort into things like that, which is why he’s never gone through dying his hair even though he likes the idea. Who wants to match their clothes with their hair all the time? Too restricting). As for a whole new outfit? Anything is possible.

Innocent Steps (2005)

Plot: Former acclaimed dancer Na Young-sae attempts to make a comeback after his opponent, Hyun-soo, purposely injures him at a dance competition. At the suggestion of his dance studio manager Ma Sang-doo , Young-sae then brings to Korea Jang Chae-ryn, an ethnic Korean from China whom he presumes is a renowned, talented dancer. To his surprise, Young-sae learns Chae-ryn knows nothing about dancing and her soon-to-be married, older sister, Jang Chae-min, is the talented dancer. With only three months until the national dance championship, Young-sae trains Chae-ryn, vowing to turn her into a world-class dancer.

Damn. Just. Damn. No one does a movie like South Korea. I can’t remember the last time I cried at a film. Innocent Steps had me snivelling like a newborn. I have points in my notes that just says “Oh shit. Its sad” and “Why AM I CRYING?!”. At first glance, it doesn’t seem like much. It certainly didn’t seem like my cup of tea, but I shrugged off my doubts, and rightfully so because I do not regret watching this one. Although slow paced it drew me in from the very beginning. As someone who isn’t a mushy, lovey-dovey sorta gal, this film was perfect for me with a sweet, innocent, slow burn love. 

It was harsh in places, especially where Hyun-soo (Yoon Chan) purposely injures Na Young-sae (Park Gun-hyung), not once but twice. Like, it ain’t that serious bub. There was also a part where Young-sae’s dance studio manager, Ma Sang-doo (Park Won-sang) beats Jang Chae-ryn (Moon Geun-young) for not being who she says she was and my jaw dropped. From the very begging I thought that Ma Sang-doo was shady and I was right (More on that later).

There are some comedic elements like the two inspectors who lowkey stalk the main couple in the dumbest yet most hilarious ways. They had me wheezing occasionally which wasn’t great since we all know my dumbass decided to watch this film at like 4am. 

The two leads had great chemistry and I found myself believing their relationship even before they fell in love which, like, A+ for achieving that. The female lead  Jang Chae-ryn  is like super adorable in this and one thing I did notice about   Na Young-sae is that he had one nice butt and overall the film was cheesy but in a cute and endearing way.

BACK TO MA SANG-DOO, I said he was shady and I was right, he’s a money-grabbing greedy shit in this and i don’t like him. Like he practically sells Jang Chae-ryn to Hyun-soo and I almost rioted.. Until i remembered I was watching a film that is.

Because Na Young-sae is injured once more, Jang Chae-ryn has no choice but to dance with Hyun-soo at the dance competition but its all good cause she fuckin nails it lads. AND NA YOUNG-SAE WATCHED and I cried, cause I’m a pussy. And then my wifi cut out like a lil bitch, BUT I GOT IT BACK and saw the end but I won’t spoil it cause you need to watch it.
