Does he happen to sing while Lammy plays? Or maybe they duet together… who knows (I’m rotting about those two very much rn)

Hi!!! :3 Yes!!

Yet ive always wanted to share this headcanon: i think PaRappa starts out as not bein a very good singer, just because he doesnt know how to. His regular voice is all high pitched and almost nasally and it cracks a few times in the games too. urkel soundin ass (said with all the love i contain in my heart)

BUT there's potential in that!! i imagine: PaRappa wants to eventually do a real duet with Lammy after he meets her, yet feels embarrassed over his own abilities. So he goes through the effort of trying to get good at singing so he can impress her!

it involves lots of training and vocal exercises over the time he knows her, wowee imagine a stage where he has to sing his scales and raps what the teacher tells him at the same time

and then he surprises her all 'look what i can do' and then hek yea both he and Lams will duet often just because they can >:3 💖

Help on Fanfic Stuff

Howdy! Back in 2017 i started working on a longass fanfic, posted it to both Archive Of Our Own (AO3) and also to Fanfiction Dot Net (FFN) yet thanks to life events happening one after another i was forced to put it on pause

that was a while ago! Rereading it, i can't help but notice issues (I'm a better writer now!) that make me wince to infinity and beyond, plus other things like "oh i could've introduced that topic better" or "huh maybe i should've explained that better in an earlier chapter"

My goal was to make a looonng canon-compliant story about what I liked, since no else did at the time, and i love that stuff. I want to rewrite one chapter to follow that line of thought, though it's more of an optional thing (I don't HAVE to, but I want to...)

Two chapters are responsible for the wince factor, and will definitely get a rewrite no matter what.

But i also want to add in small things to help the story flow better, and inject details and minor plot points that would explain things that happen in the later chapters, since I feel that's lacking. This is what I'm wondering about. The main story beats in these chapters will be left alone, yet will include these additions.

My 'preservation of old media' habit is kicking in, and making me paranoid to go back and add in new stuff in an old story. I am not sure where to go from here, and what the best course of action is. So i decided to make a poll for it!

TLDR; i want to add in new details (and fix typos and errors) on an old fic I've made/want to continue working on, but not sure if I should do that, archive it first... what do?

I understand that Get Rid of the Heartbreak is probably on hiatus indefinitely but I just wanted you to know that it’s possibly the best fanfic I’ve ever read, and if not it’s at least in the top 3. It’s so well written and the characters are portrayed amazingly. Consumed it all in one night and I need more lol :D
