It’s not new year’s for me yet so i’m technically not late at all!!

I’m really happy about this year!! Because it’s been my first year active on tumblr, and SO!!

I’d love to thank all my lovely mutuals!!! Thank you so much for any and all support you’ve shown me this year!! It’s actually my first time actively creating for an actual fandom (since I came from Instagram as a complete non-fandom OC poster), and I’m really happy to receive any kind of interactions at all!! Even though I still mostly post OCs, I’m happy to be in the twst fandom! And it’s because I’ve felt very welcome in it thanks to all my mutuals!! I appreciate all of you, thank you so much!!!!

For the future, I’d love to draw and interact more with people. I always get scared talking to ppl out of my close circle, even if there’s no reason to. I can get too worried about what people think lmao;;; (It’s also the reason why I never really drew fanart even in other fandoms before because I get too worried about mischaracterizing them and getting flamed?? Although I also feel like that’s really not bound to happen unless I depict something outrageous??? My worries are so useless omg. I’m sick of their ass). So hopefully I can improve on that starting now!!

When the eight of you land inside the video game that Ace and Deuce were just competing over, you sigh. It's a nightmare already to keep Grim from eating anything, but now with the giant candies it's going to be hellish.

"What did you do, Juice?" Ace is peeved at Deuce, despite neither of them doing anything to trigger this kind of glitch.

Idia shivers momentarily, but you think it's just a cold front running down his spine and disregard it.

"There is no way you're gonna blame this on me!" Deuce responds. "If anything, you did it! Did you see how hard you were gripping the joystick?"

"No I didn't, because all I could see was my racecar ahead of yours!"

"[Name], what do you think?" Ace huffs, turning over to you for an answer.

"Nuh uh," you say as you grip tightly onto Grim's wiggling body. "You two aren't dragging me into this, I told y'all not to make that bet."

"Okay your opinion is void now," Ace rolls his eyes.

"Stop looking for pity points when you know I'm right," Deuce crosses his arms. "And I was beating you, not the other way around."

"Mhm, that's not what the pixels on that stupid screen were showing me," Ace retaliates, the sass in his voice unimaginable.

"Can you two please make up so we can get out of here," you groan.

"There's no way I'm making up with the person who got us here!" Deuce frowned.

"I am not gonna just reconcile with this dumbass!" Ace practically shouted.

"There has to be a way for the two of you to duke it out here so we can get on with it," Silver finally speaks up, over the initial stupor of teleportation.

All of the sudden, horns sound.

"All rise for our ruler, King Candy!" a guard yelled.

Finally looking anywhere other than the red- and blue-haired boys, you finally take in your surroundings and clothes fully. Racing attire? you question to yourself as a royal-looking man comes into view.

"Strange people of far-away lands!" he yells out. "I hear your need for justice and wish to hand it to you. Your need for a true winner resounds well in my heart, and I therefore grant you my honor in racing to victory! You may gather two teams—since there are so many of you—and compete in a race! Then you will know who the real winner is!"

"See, there we go," Ace says.

"There is no way..." you can hear Idia mumbling in the back.

"Alright! Let's get to it!" Deuce calls out, his signature smirk plastered on his face.

You frown, knowing the competitive nature of the both of them would probably do more hurt than good in the the long run. But who are you to stop them, they're teenage boys for Seven's sakes.

(I wonder if Year 4 of JP anniversary will feature staff in the groovy with Grim??)

IT’S SO FUNNY THAT THEY MADE THE MOST USELESS STAFF MEMBER THE FIRST STAFF CARD 😭 I thought for sure they would “save the best for last” but I guess Crowley isn’t really “the best”, huh… BUT HEY, at least now we can chuck him into battles against OBs and make him be a responsible adult and actually work to earn his coin 💰

I hope we get vignettes and not just furniture for Crowley! It would be cool to have a short story that centers around him, even if it’s just him goofing around and being unproductive. I’ll happily take a day in the life of Crowley anytime!!

I have so many questions about how Crowley would work gameplay-wise?????? ?? ? ? ????? ?? ? I wonder if we’ll be able to make staff members attend class…? But that’s odd, isn’t it?? Why would teachers be studying? And what happens if there’s a situation where like. Crowley is a student but also Crowley crashed in for a Special Lesson segment? Double Crowley?!?!?!?! The Spiderman meme where they point at each other?? Or will staff not be able to attend lessons at all and you just have to feed them materials to level them up outside of class… (You know what, leeching off of resources that the students worked hard to farm is very in-character for Crowley, so if this is the case then I won’t be upset 😂) What about Duo Magic??? Will Crowley actually be able to combo with a student??? Or will it be with Grim or whatever staff card is coming next...?

His card art looks hella cool ✨ It’s really atmospheric but also has a bit of that unique Crowley flair if you notice where exactly he’s seated (on his own damn desk www) while posing so sassily. And is that the word RAVEN literally making up the teeth at the end of his key-like staff????? That’s so Crowley of him…

What I am slightly concerned about is…

… Why is the composition of Malleus’s Dorm Uniform card and Crowley’s card kinda similar…

Malleus is clearly turned to the side, but the slight worm’s eye view is the same and the lighting is somewhat close (relatively dark)… and both of them are holding staves while sitting. Plus the timing of Crowley dropping mid-book 7… AND sharing elements in Malleus’s Masquerade (Crowley notoriously wears a mask) groovy of all things (similar angle, chandelier overhead)… With the fan theory of Crowley actually being Malleus’s missing dad at an all-time fever pitch in popularity, this has me a little worried (since I personally think the theory doesn’t have a lot of solid proof and leaves a lot to be explained in terms of his actions).

Maybe that’s me overthinking it, but TWST has been known to intentionally do parallel or mirrored designs before (though I’ll admit this instance isn’t as clear cut as previous instances). I’m just pointing out what I see and I’ll leave the final judgment up to you, dear readers! I’m sure the “Crowley is Malleus’s dad” theorists will be in a frenzy picking apart these details www

New Life is Strange game starring Max Caulfield... no mention of Chloe in the trailer... I'm gonna cry

AHSJJDNG YEAH ERMM ITS LOOKING GRIM IDK. it kinda feels like they know the OG life is strange is where all the heart of the franchise lays and so theyre trying to go back to that...they were already tiptoeing around it with true colors, considering steph, but they really just said fuckit we'll give her back to you. especially considering the premise is so samey..... i dont know it feels rather odd to me. you could even say strange -_-

not to mention the plot and shit is so.. unrelated to chloe and doesnt seem to leave really much room for her to be relevant at all? which i assume either means A) theyre picking sac chloe as the canon ending (insane thing to do) or B) itll be choice dependent and either chloe is around but not a big part of the story (?????) or that max and chloe went their seperate ways at some point (also very ????? to me). i dont know 😭 im honestly not a huge fan of decknines work, im still sour over how badly they butchered before the storm, what a nightmare of a game i fear i could whine about that one for a good while. but regardless! there we have it. life is strange and dragon age are back! welcome back 2015!!!

yippee time to yap about my favorite audio drama, okay okay okay listen so the silt verses are a completed audio-drama (3 seasons, 45 episodes (i myself am on ep. 34 rn)) that starts with two cultists, Sister Carpenter (all-around tired, angry at the world, was born into the church but is losing her faith rn) and Brother Faulkner (a young convert who believes fervently and perhaps thinks himself a prophet) on a road trip— i mean a holy pilgrimage. Cause they are both followers of an illegal river god. And yes this modernish world is chuck full of gods who have a direct influence on the world, and the government basically decides who it is legal to worship or not. The worship in question involves chill and casual human sacrifices and horrific transfigurations (if you like body horror, this is the podcast for u). In fact in the setting people design, develop, commercialize and weaponize gods all the fucking time, so really interesting world-building stuff, seriously i love it here. Not gonna go into the plot progression, but it starts out great and gets better and better with every season, i am on season 3 and just constantly blown away.

The writing all in all is really spectacular, sound design is top notch, voice acting is straight up Insane, like there is quality!! Character interactions are to die for, seriously very dynamic, very entertaining. Btw if you love complicated messy very true sibling dynamics, set up camp right here. Also id say pretty good and fun balance between grim tones of a greek tragedy waiting to happen and insanely funny moments and situations (though im in season 3 and it’s mostly grim somebody send help). And the themes!! The themes! The interconnection between hopelessness and hope, the painful difference between a faith and a religion, horrors of capitalism, tragedy and stupidity of war and sm other good stuff. Character cast grows w the progression of the story, we see different places, different perspectives, so really a lot to dig your teeth into, can recommend!!

Also diversity win! We have an aromantic legend of the cult who is trying so so hard to divorce god, our doomed false prophet of the river is trans, there is a transwoman who is basically jesus if jesus went from marketing job to anarchism, and we have non-binary people from politicians to cultists to literal god-killers—

To a normal person id make a little disclaimer that it might be a bit disorienting a couple of first episodes cause there isnt much exposition from the top but as for a fellow tlt fan i know you have nothing to fear, we went through so much more confusing things during harrow and nona the ninth…

The mere hypothetical of it made her stomach twist in agony causing Sue's brows to furrow and lips to frown deeply.

If Ren La'Vaye had double crossed her, after all these years of mutual understanding and business propagations? Tarvasha, for that matter? Susan scowls then, one of those finely jeweled hands combing through her hair in a soothing gesture, lips pressed firmly together as her mind continues to wander, questioning herself on her reactions in such unpredictable scenarios of the few people she loved or had an understanding with until finally she addresses Safrona:

"The variables are too broad to truly have an answer. It depends who the person is to me and how grievous the offence but... Consequences," she remarks firmly, head nodding as if she were convincing herself, "There would be consequences period."

Am I the only one who thinks that after Mohg got his allegations lifted some Mohgmiq shippers/Mohglester advocaters felt?? dissappointed?? that it isnt yk, Mohg being predatory n Miquella being a victim??

Ive been trying to avoid SOTE discourse for fear of spoilers but mutuals n friends told me abt what did happen at the end with Mohg and Miquella, to my relief. I've been so advocate against Mohg's allegations being true and the shipping those two oddly got going on. (Little rant below)

Im going to be frank, I do not hate media not being dark and grim at times, but what i do dislike is those darker topics becoming a freeway for SOME/THOSE people to start condoning/shipping (Disclaimer: Im not against non healthy dynamics in media, those can exist if they are represented respectfully, its more just against people seeing it as okay to ROMANTICIZE/BLORBOIFY) those topics as just your average pair or using it as a quirky romantic dynamic. (Ex: cough cough Coleen Hoover books cough cough anything romance directed nowadays cough cough YA books cough cough gothic romance novels cough cough)

Miquella undeniably manipulated Mohg and suddenly its an eyeopener and Oh Nooooo! the ugly and scary character is NOT a predator and suddenly the power dynamic is shifted! Not fun anymore! It kinda feels this way which? It doesnt change anything its the same dynamic.

I dont know why but to me theres something holding some back because the blame is shifted and Mohg is a victim instead of Miquella, call me crazy??

I rlly dont know how to feel 😭😭? But ive seen less and less. Everything has been quiet other than Mohg fans finally cheering onto the fact they are not looked down upon anymore in one way or another.

Finished reading Gerald’s Game 2day!!!! Rambling thoughts below:

Overall i really loved it a lot, i loved jessie shes my best friend now and im giving sking a patronising little pat on the back for writing a great female protag!

It was like a 50/50 split for me of how much of the csa stuff & general traumatising female experience was good and how much was wayyyy too on the nose (like the woman in the stocks etc.) And in some ways how much the eclipse scene is returned to rings very true for a Working Thru Trauma process, but in most it just feels super fucking gratuitous. Idk. That was all legitimately very very hard to read and not in a fun way.

My other big issue (probs my biggest issue) is the space cowboy of it all….the parts w him visiting/jessie anticipating him visiting were so incredibly scary, i was a Huge fan of how he was kind of the grim reaper (ie “i have to escape by tonight or He’s going to come back” = “i have to escape by tonight or im gonna die.”) i was an even HUGER fan of how he was also kind of her boogeyman trauma-brain-ified father, how when she first sees him she calls out ‘daddy?’. I should know by now that steveo cannot resist tying up every loose end and over explaining tf out of shit but still. Him being proven real and kind of debunked right at the end just sucked to me. Not to mention the fact we find out he only looked so scary bc he had a disability, and is also gay and loves wearing women’s lingerie!!! Just btw!!! Aren’t u so glad u have this information everyone!!!!

The visceral horror of it all was however so so good and the pacing was Masterful considering it’s all one scene about one lady. Jessie’s exposed nerves whacking against every other object made me Violenlty Ill 🩷

my reply's bullshit of a summary: but yeah, the below is a Joker headcanon about "the true Joker's identity" and how i personally reconcile with the three main Jokers types (not identities. but types. we got what i call "Adam West Joker", "Agent of Chaos Joker", and "Grim-Dark Joker". this trio. here. that's what i mean) with all this hullabaloo of canon trying so bad to go "but what's his name, what's his story??" and me smacking DC's hand away from this Schrodinger's Cat of a cookie jar labeled "Joker" with this hc, happily, every time. enjoy?

omg i have had the most wild TOTALLY HEADCANON answer to this, all bc im like "i wanna make a Gotham OC fanfic (.......yes the one with Kaycie that's kinda the only other post in this blog, stfu, lemme finish), but im too sickly to do it rn. ill just plot it for now on and off" and part of my plotting was "how do i want to approach Joker and his 'true identity' bs??" bc taking what canon from where for this fic was important to me as it was part of the plot i want to do. but like?? there's some comics i love where i just.. ignore their idea for Joker's backstory. cognitive dissonance that. but i implement other canon from those comics. v much cherry-picking; idgaf, thats THE way to go about comics. so i was like "what canons am i cherry-picking for this fanfic version of Joker?" and my eventual idea became my hc foR ALMOST ALL CONTEMPORARY JOKERS EVER and ill share it, sure, i love to info-dump

bc i came up with an answer that (admittingly idk ALL OF THE INTERNET EVER so maybe i independently came up with the same idea as someone else, but, this is my pitch, totally original to me specifically as far as i am aware:) makes both all the "real" Jokers "canon" and also NONE of them canon, and instead re-inforces the mystery of nobody knowing who the fuck this guy is

and that's that he "heals quickly" by seeing Professor Pyg (at 🔫point probably) and just.. getting a new fucking whatever's-broken

leg-broke? amputate and replace. wrist arthritis? amputate and replace. so on and so forth

but we dont see scars or anything bc, in my hc, he brings some of that acid with him when he sees Pyg (from when he first fell. we know he likely knows its ingredients since, tons of comics, he re-creates it for Harley) (also i like how this idea brings Pyg more to the forefront by proxy. bc Joker's laughing gas and Pyg's "perfect" people are such traumatizingly similar victims who are done in by two totally different people. my squeamish heart is so glad Pyg isnt Well Known outside of comic fans, but the nerd inside me doesnt get WHY he hasnt been part of pop culture osmosis alongside Joker yet wtf). so the acid is like an Even More Fucked Up Version Of The Lazarus Pit but that doesnt grant you immortality and has more cons than it could ever be worth, but Joker loves his "daddy/mommy vat" (you cannot tell me he doesnt call that vat some cringe parental nickname lol, i just wont buy it). the acid does bizarro healing-fast, no-scars nonsense. and the Joker's upped usage of it explains why his skin tends to chemically paper-white and Harley Quinn's (who also fell in the vat in some stories) tends to be her in white make-up. so: his skin-tone then isn't make-up, it's his skin, all bc he keeps re-applying that acid shit, whereas Harley only did it ONCE. and it didnt fuck her up as bad since she doesnt come back for more when she could just let her bones heal. (plus, him doing this stuff?? to me, it connects him a bit further to "The Joker's Daughter", like him replacing bit of himself foreshadows how she wears his face as a mask...)

...anyway, BUT AS A RESULT, he is leaving DNA of all these other people that are "the true identity of Joker". but like. they both are not Joker (theyre victims of Joker and Pyg) and ARE the Joker (theyre part of him). so all those idenities?? none of them are probably the true og Joker who first went to Pyg with a body that was 100% his own (and was using white make-up at the time) with a small vat of the acid going 🔫 "i have a commissioned offer for you that i wont let you refuse, Pyggy". theyre probably just a List Of Victims. you could even then argue all these versions of "the Joker's backstory reveal" are then just forensics and profilers trying to piece together "how did [Name] become the Joker?" and sensationalizing their interpretation, and the comics are "people trying to canonize those theories as fact via their fictional adaptation of this theory" (im aware this is loopy in a multi-verse way buT SHHH SHHH SHH); all having no idea yet that every [Name] there was actually a victim of Pyg and Joker's. how could they know? how could they guess the "reality" within this hc is that the Joker is a personified Ship Of Theseus?? he's like a mosaic from the Byzantine era, of how many pieces of other people he has; or like a stain-glass sculpture; or like the Creature from "Frankenstein" if Viktor Frankenstein became the Creature himself bit by bit. maybe the Joker has even had parts of his brain replaced with other people's (to the point that it becomes "who knows whose brain this originally was" to which all "hey science doesnt work like—"/"iTS COMICS THO. WE HAVE THE LAZARUS PITS ALREADY, THE ACID CAN BE A FUCKED UP PROVERBIAL MEWTWO MAN-MADE VERSION OF RA'S AL GUHL'S MEW. LET THE PSEUDO-SCIENCE HAPPEN. IT'S COMICS. HE CAN SURVIVE THAT MUCH BRAIN TRANSPLANT ON REPEAT NOW" arguments are kinda nullified with) with this glaze of The Acid ontop to allow the blend to Work— bc he keeps using this acid, causing himself to potentially develop ťúmóŕś and needing them removed (and maybe Pyg does secret lobotomies or some shit and sees "what if i replace this part while im at it..??" to see if this makes the Joker "more bareable" to be around, idk). as a result of this absurd desire to never have an injury delay him: even upon his hypothetical autopsy, they'll never know his true identity. forensics and profilers who had been having debates analyzing evidence to "uncover" who the Joker is will be revealed to have had a vast misunderstanding of the dark truth

Red Hood (Jason) and Red Hood (Joker) is stiLL SO SO SOOOO important to me that, though im still like "Joker is a total mystery. forensics finds NOTHING on this lil Adam West co-star/pre-Megamind-before-Megamind-but-no-hero-ending of a guy" is a canon multi-verse version of Joker to me, i happily accept that Red Hood is a part of "agent of chaos" Joker's lore and "grim-dark mastermind" Joker's lore. 2 out of 3 aint bad. but my hc about Joker going all 🔫 "fix. me." to Prof Pyg works A+ in grim-dark Joker lore. and my hesitation about "agent of chaos Joker lore" is that, to MEEEE, my Pyg hc only works if its "agent of chaos Joker lore after Jason Todd đīēđ (or at least, like, if he started just before Jason ḍịẹḍ and was building up to Jason's said ɗęąţĥ); bc before JT ðıəð/before Joker started building up to brutalize Jason like that, Joker wasnt AS vîôłêňť as he became to be known as... (still massively violent. but not AS much, like he was a bit of clutching-his-punched-gut "they'll all see" type for a bit beforehand if i recall accurately.) but post-JT? yeah, my Pyg hc could quickly apply". so again: 2 out of 3 multi-verse variants? aint bad, ill take that happily

Midnight Gaming: Many turkeys were harmed...

So last night I played Super Turbo Turkey Puncher 3 past midnight, checked socials to find... first impressions of the borderlands movie are grim.

So Randy Pitchford's shootloot the movie is gonna be out soon and the initial trailers dont promise much. I have zero interest in watching this, mainly because Id like to avoid too much of the randy grease. And if you think im being harsh, bear in mind that the first impressions are out now and they arent great. No thanks im good.

Addendum: As i wrote this, the movie has recieved 0% on rotten tomatoes. LMAO

So now lets get into something better. A  game that has a changed the world for the better. A monument to gaming that has never been topped. A true flawless diamond of video game design. And its wrapped around Doom 3 to anchor its beauty in order for us lesser mortals to comprehend its beauty. I kid, Doom 3 isn't necessarly a bad game, it took a risk by forgoing the high octane shooting for a slower horror feel and it didnt really catch on. Early on in the game in mars city, you can come across a small cafeteria and an arcade cabinet containing the beast known as STTP3.

You punch the turkey, you punch it till it explodes. Another turkey spawns. Repeat the process. And if you get the rhythmdown, you get more points cause thats what it is, a classic high-score based arcade game. Keep at it until you get a high score and HR tells you off. I managed to go as high as this until I called it around 12:30am.

Y'know what? Who has the highest score on STTP3? Did anyone max out the score? Lemme just look this up and...

Ok yeah I was nowhere close to that..

Yeah so, I was going to do doom 3 but figured I try to get a high score on the turkey puncher for the bit and use this time to talk about something D3 related. Mainly the mod scene, cause while the latter games has a whole collection of mods and fanprojects, Doom 3, or atleast the non-bfg edition one, had a ton of mods itself. You had that odd Duck Nukem mod, the Bubba Hotep one, you had that mod that turned Doom 3 into a Thief game and you had that one that turned it into an imsim.

I never really touched on those mods, at the time I got game mods along with indie games and demos from the PCGamer discs that used to come with the magazine.

I wanna spend some time talking about three Doom 3 mods that I remember fondly and would to share with you all today.

First up is Doom 3 Classic: (https://www.moddb.com/mods/classic-doom-3), which is a mod that recreates the first episode of the original Doom in Doom 3. This was to be honest, the first time I acutally played Doom 1. I wasnt aware the first episode was freeware at the time, so this mod was my first exposure to it. The one great thing about this mod however was its intro cutscene. They didnt need to make it but i'm glad they did.

Next up is Last Man Standing: (https://www.moddb.com/mods/last-man-standing-coop), a mod for Doom 3 that adds online co-op for the game. You can go through the main story of Doom 3 with other people as well the Resurrection of Evil expansion, some custom made wave survival maps. In fact the last mod I just talked about is actually supported by this mod. Definatly was a lot of fun playing this online but you wanna know something else? This mod has a theme song and it kicks ass.

If I had a nickel for everytime a Coop mod for a first person shooter has an awesome menu theme, I would be recreating the doofensmirtz meme, which is a bit overused but its funny when the opportunity comes up.

Last but not least, this one was one that i've played the most because it delivered a lot of gameplay. While completly changing Doom 3 in many ways. DungeonDoom! (https://www.moddb.com/mods/dungeondoom)

DungeonDoom was a mod that changed the game into a rougelike fps-rpg hybrid with a collection of different game types and classes to choose from. A shop to buy items, quests to do and a big procedurally generated dungeon to go through. Heck one of the classes you can choose to play turns it into a sort of card rpg where you can summon monsters and use spells. This mod was just fantastic and I loved playing every minute of it.

So yeah, those were the Doom3 mods of my youth. Loved playing them and I hope this encourages someone to check them out. You need the old version of Doom 3, not the bfg edition in order for them to run. Hopefully you have some fun playing these 15+ year old mods............... oh god.

i actually always have weird dreams about whatever media im stupidly obsessed with and that acosf dream reminded of this one that i had that was actually so weird that it momentarily snapped me out of my obsession

so im a big fan of elisabth: das musical which is a musical about empress elisabeth of austria, idk how familiar your average presumably american tumblrperson is with her but shes a big cultural icon in germany and austria so obviously they made a musical about her. but whatever, all you really need to know for the sake of this post is that elisabeth has a son called rudolf and theres a gnc af personification of death/everyones suicidal thoughts kickin around. Death is my favorite character bc if im weirdly obsessed with him and him only thats technically not rpf, and then rudolf is my favorite non-death character even though he only gets 3 songs and a dance number during which he kills himself. and basically the main reason for that is that hes got a lot of homoerotic tension w/ death because death is a romqntic character and he has suicidal thoughts so obviously theres a spark there. Thats not actually relevant to my dream i just needed to tell you bc anytime someone talks about this musical i feel like theyre like "oh its about this woman having a romance with the hot and sexy grim reaper" "oh the emperor of austria gets cucked by a guy who looks like THIS" and thats all true but also, idk man go on youtube and type in mayerling walzer and watch some of the videos and tell me what you think, content warning for suicide, guns and gay shit

anyway, so the dream that I had was a tv show, i wasnt like watching it, i did bot exist in that dream my mind was basically a streaming service. Its a full episode of a cw/abc family type show, for some reason i get once upon a time vibes from it even though ive never watched that show, but i only remember the very end, all I remember about the rest of the episode was that it was rudolf (whos the pov character btw i havent mentioned that yet) going around a bunch of places trying to solve some kind of mystery. And the very last place he ended up at the end of the episode was in front of my catholic elementary school, catholic in the sense that it was right next to a catholic church and was named after that church i dont think we learned much more about religion than your average "secular" elementary school. Now, the school was a little bit behind the church and between the two buildings theres this gap where the ground is all cobblestone and theres a fountain that doesnt work and some bushes and benches and irl theres a busstop there with one of those electrical signs, but since this dream took place in the 1880s there wasnt a busstop yet. so rudolf comes to this kind of inbetween space and goes up to this big person-sized copper jesus statue (which is accurate to real life btw) and Im sure this is meant to be some heavy-handed symbolism or visual metaphor or something but unfortunately i dont have the context of this tv show that my brain made up so i cant be sure. he stands there for a while, not really doing anything until an older woman suddenly approaches him. And that woman? queen victoria. yknow, like victorian england. whatever, shes like the catty woman antagonist of this show and she and rudolf have this really vague and passive agressive confrontation, i dont remember anything they said, just that it was passive aggressive bc thats how royals b like i guess. But somehow through the vague bullshit theyre saying the audience finds out aboutvthe big shocking end-of-episode twist: rudolf is not elisabeths child, hes actually victorias child. They did a baby switcheroo. for some reason. and then it CUTS TO BLACK

And I wake up and im like "huh. maybe i should stop thinking about that musical so much"

as a bsd fan of 7 years... im absolutely sure he's gonna be okay. Not only that, but so will akutagawa, fukuzawa, etc, and im certain of this exactly because dazai died.

theres a reason why so many mistake bsd for a shounen, even though it's not - most of the main cast, well, cant die. but! that doesn't mean they are untouchable.

others have said this before as well, but bsd at its core is hopeful - it's about second chances, doing good, finding a reason to live, even if you yourself feel like you don't deserve it anymore. therefore, killing off the the character who stands prominently from the start for this would not fit the narrative at all.

now, before dazai died, i wasnt 100% sure akutagawa would live, but now it's all just too grim to be true. my theory is that they gonna reverse time, possibly before the page was written or that destroying the page will result in the same.

as to how they gonna get to that, i wont even attempt to guess, but two things to note: asagiri is balls to the walls insane, and a recurring pattern is little people who "shouldnt matter" turning the tides on a grand scale (e.g. aya, tachihara, ranpo's detective buddy, etc). so i expect it's either gonna be someone we forgot about (where's mori?? or kyouka??) or aya's plan working, or some other character who hadnt had much screentime thus far (agatha christie? natsume?).

either way, those stray dogs are gonna live, they just gotta die first a bit <3

So since @illusionaryneil tagged me in their game (thank you so much dude), here's my top 8 shows to get to know me better! (all done in a non specific order) :D

Breaking bad: Kind of basic i know, but i still quite enjoy it. I binged all of it with one of my friends, and it was super fun!

In the night garden: Kind of an underrated show, but I hold it so dear to my heart. I adore puppet shows, and i would watch that show endlessly when i was younger.

Devilman Crybaby: I super enjoyed this show! I love the animation style and how the show is set up. One of the things i didn't really like is the nudity. It didn't feel too plot important, but i understand the audience they were trying to target lol.

Puella magi madoka magica: probably my #1 favourite show of all time. I adore the story telling, the designs of the witches, the depth of the magical girls, the relation of wishes, abilities and witch foms. The plot had me sucked in, from the compelling art to the grim tone that was set up in episode 3. Almost all of the entire franchise (magia record has it's own issues) had me obsessed, i deeply enjoy the series and all it offers.

Serial experiments Lain: probably the second best show i have seen. it's catchy, has amazing detail and a unique plot. While i cant verbalize it too well, i adore that show so so so much. It's a comfort to me.

Umbrella academy: I have watched it a total of 90 times. I adore scifi, and the fact that i know someone who worked on set design for season 2 is super cool! Plus the representation is really good, and the way it deals with Elliot Page's transition and translating that to his character.

Violet evergarden: I was introduced to this in middle school, and good god it is the most intense thing ever. The amount of tears i had for this show is unreal. As someone who is disabled and deals with emotional issues, i found it so lovely seeing representation that wasn't gross or forced. Not only that, but it verbalized my own thoughts and feelings towards my bpd and having a favourite person.

Arcane: while im not a fan of league of legends, i adored this show! they made everyone morally grey, so that by the end there's no true "bad guy". Just a bunch of fucked up people doing fucked up things. Plus Jinx's mental illnesses (some of which i share) were written so accurately! Im psyched for the next season!

☆ Either way it's slightly annoying. It's seems as tho your never listen to what they are saying! Which is true but in your defense what your listening to is a bop! And it's not like you don't try but you also find it hard to listen when your to busy vibing to songs in your head that aren't currently blasting in your ears you also have a short attention spam

☆ It literally takes everything in you not to jump up and dance around.

☆ You tend to bump into things or people because your usually not paying attention and that lends u in a lot of trouble. So Jack has to make sure you always careful and paying attention because he doesn't want u to hurt yourself

☆ They've always wondered what kind of music has you so out of here. And they would have never expected you'd listen to Metal! Will kawaii metal to be infact

☆ It's not like you were trying to hide that you listen to kawaii metal! You just didn't think it was that important and they've never asked until now lol

☆ You and the first would always have sleepovers on the weekends! Deuce and Jack would bring tasty snakcs and you'd have the music ready

He worries for you. Like seriously you could get hurt! And you bump into a lot of people which ends up starting fights sometimes! Like the time when you had grape juice in your hands and you bumped into a diasonmia student. He always thought only Riddle's face could turn that red...guess not. But you both he always looks forward to the sleepovers! You have the best made playlists ever! He's not a big fan of rock will most of them are not but they are kinda interested in what u listen to.

☆ Jack Howl

He also worries about your well-being! Your always hurting yourself just like Deuce said. So he make sure to keep an eye on you whenever he sees you. He doesn't want you getting hurt on his watch

☆ Epel Felmier

He heard metal a couple of times! But he doesn't really have the chance to listen to music a lot since of Vil. Bit whenever he's with you you'd both sit down and relax while listening to music. Just like with Sebek you'd both listen to music and talk, giving each other some suggestions.

My dude was beyond mad! Imagine him screaming in your ear but you can't even hear him? He's was always trying to talk to you but you never seemed to hear him and that frustrated him a lot. But recently he calmed down and he has nice conversations about your music. You like to tell him all about the artist you listen you even recommended some stuff
