an hour of driving, you two have arrived on the said location. the flowers sure are lively and beautiful today, the grass is not tall and you can definitely lay down the picnic blanket on the ground without struggle. suguru then put the basket of foods you've brought on the ground, setting up the plates, spoons, forks and water glasses along with the 66oz tumbler you brought just in case you get thirsty.

what i can say is, suguru definitely enjoyed the picnic date you had arranged for the both of you. he was happy, grateful and feeling much better than he was before.

"spending time with you at home sure is nice but going on a picnic date with you is something i didnt know i would definitely need after such a long and busy week." he then started peppering your face with damp and sweet kisses, thanking you over and over for arranging this sweet and nice date for the two of you.

when the sun started going west, you two decided that it's time to go home as it's getting darker. by the time you two got home, you both have decided to take a shower together. washing each other's hair, rubbing the sweat off of your backs and playing bubbles, being silly and happy.

cuddles and kisses were brought along as you both decided that it's time for bed. finally letting the sleepiness takes over the both of you, but before that, suguru made a comment.

"you always take good care of me."

"it's because i love you and i care for you, too much."

"not to me. not when it's you."

"i love you, so damn much. simply having you makes me feel like the luckiest person alive."

long time fan of this fangan (i remember reading it in geography class and i’ve been out of high school for four years now!) and honestly i just wanted to thank you for having the courtesy to tell us that the project has been canned. super unfortunate tht this is how it ends, but thanks for being honest with us. i have to admit i am dying to know how it would have ended had it actually concluded so im super grateful you’re planning on letting us in on all that jazz. thanks for sticking with us as long as you did because what does exist of this project is really awesome stuff

yeah i'm sorry i didn't get around to this sooner! i spent a long time trying to think of ways to salvage the fic, but the scale of the project was just too big with no good way to cut it down to size. this way at least folks will get to know what i had planned in all its ridiculousness while still freeing me up to work on new (smaller) projects

i'm waiting a couple more days to see if the poll results shift dramatically but it's looking like i'll go ahead and start posting spoilers (tagged with #dreadnoughtspoilers) while slowly working on the ch1 ending! i'm hoping to do at least a little animation for the execution as a send-off for the fic

What's the probability (if you had to guess) of getting wheelchair mounts for our wizzards?? (Staffs/wands that double as crutches or canes would be so cool too.)

P.s. I'm the annon that asked about breaking into the industry a while back. I've been mad busy with school and have a new found respect for the models in W/P101

Wheelchair's have come up in recent conversation, but our biggest hurdle surrounding that is (like most things) tech related. Again, old game, old tools.

We're also a small team here, ik I've said this before- there are so many things we want to do in terms of inclusivity & diversity, but to do those things RIGHT by our players requires time and human attention, which we don't have an unlimited amount of, unfortunately :(

Technically doing like, a wheelchair mount would not be technically difficult- but there's a few issues...

1. Mounts are not equip-able during combat/in most indoor areas. I know not every wheelchair user is in their wheelchair at all times, but for those who'd like to have their player remain seated in a wheelchair during combat/indoor areas, the tech just doesn't allow for that option right now.

2. I understand you don't need to be a wheelchair user yourself to want to have your character use one- but the concept of making it a mount (which are otherwise an 'accessory' in game) might send the message that mobility aids are just 'accessories'- and of course that's not the truth.

We had an idea on how maybe to add wheelchairs w/o making it a straight up mount, but again it's something that needs a lot of eyes to even get the green light to go ahead and do it.

HOWEVER, i can say there are a few things in the realm of inclusivity & diversity that we've talked about recently that are less 'expensive' in terms of production; i'm not involved with production planning so i've no idea if it's something that would be coming anytime soon, but there's not any techy stuff holding us back from doing them- its just trying to fit it into production schedule, from what im aware of.

Again i make no promises and i speak super unofficially, but that's the jist :'D

TLDR; we want to add/do this stuff but we 1. want to do it right/respectfully and 2. often deal with certain tech or art limitations that inhibit us from making these changes.

Date: August 1st, 2023

Virgil pulled up to the cheap motel in his even cheaper car. This was the third they had cycled through this week. He was glad his fear of losing his keys had made him learn how to hot wire a car but there was a small part of him that felt guilty about taking something that didn't belong to him. Then again, the car had been abandoned on the side of the road. That was a pretty good sign that no one was coming back for it. However, it was less of a good sign that the car was "clean". It had been the easiest thing they could get to while under chase so they'd probably have to dump this one after a few days as well. Trying to think five steps ahead, trying to figure out how they were going to get out of this situation, it had Virgil exhausted. He was running on fumes, but as soon as they got across country they would be fine, right? They could stop running once they made it to Virgil's contacts, they could hide and maybe even start over. 

"Race you to the front desk!" Remus shouted as he bolted out of the car, not bothering to grab any of his stuff. Remus, his lover, his partner in crime, was chaos incarnate. This was why they balanced each other out, Virgil was the planner, he had all of the ideas, knew all the best routes to travel, but Remus was spontaneous. It was impossible to plan for the things Remus did and it helped Virgil get out of his own head sometimes. He didn't think, he just lived in the moment, excitedly doing whatever caught his fancy. Virgil loved that about him. Even if it was maddening at the same time. Right now, for instance, Virgil was exhausted. He wanted to curl into bed and get some rest before their early morning, but he was the one lugging the bags in while Remus ran about like a chicken with his head cut off.

Pulling both of their bags out of the car, Virgil made his way toward the front; Remus was already being handed a key to a room and ushering Virgil forward. How did he have so much energy this late at night? He didn't nap in the car, Virgil would have noticed. Maybe it was because Virgil had insisted on driving the entire day. Remus wasn't a bad driver, but he was reckless, and with them already being hunted, Virgil didn't want to add any other reason for the cops to chase after them. 

"I got us the nicest room possible." Virgil knew it was a lie, mostly because they were trying to save money and splurging on the nicest room, even in a place like this where they obviously didn't ask questions, was more than they should be spending right now. 

Remus led him to a room down the outdoor corridor, practically skipping down the way. He unlocked the door, throwing it open without a care to their neighbors. Virgil flinched. He wanted to be indiscrete, hardly a memory in anyone's head so they'd be harder to track. Remus was anything but indiscrete. 

"See, whad I tell ya? Their finest room." He flopped onto the bed and it crunched in a way sheets weren't supposed to crunch. They were stiff, when was the last time these sheets had been properly cleaned? Virgil was beginning to regret having suggested this place, but they needed to save their money. Still, he couldn't help himself as the frustration oozed off of him. "I am not sleeping on that," He muttered, throwing open the closet door, to put down their bags. At least that looked clean enough. There were no roaches that made him shiver or suspicious stains that would have him up all night.

"You don't have ta," Remus said wiggling around on the bed, messing up the sheets and somehow making the space look more appealing. "You could always sleep on the floor, but then I'd have to join ya." He gave Virgil a flirtatious wink, causing a bit of red to run up Virgil's skin as he quickly turned back to the closet. Remus' insinuation almost made him forget about the place they were in, but as he looked down, surveying the carpet, it was easy to remember.

"I am not sleeping on this floor either." He wondered what color the carpet had been before it turned into this dingey faded gray.

"Well I don't know what other options you have Virgie. Sleeping in the car probably isn't the best idea since we are on the run and all, and I doubt that arm chair over there is any cleaner. So what do you suggest, Mr. Grumpy gills?" There was a playful suggestiveness in his voice. "Do you wanna sleep on me?"

Virgil slammed the closet door shut, balling his hand tightly. "Remus, could you stop, for just a few minutes?" 

Now that caught Remus' attention and he sat up on the bed, pushing himself toward the edge. "Virgil-"

"No, stop, before you ask I'm not regretting what I did, I'm not upset that we're on the run together I just..." He sighed, walking over to Remus and looking down at his boyfriend before collapsing into the other man's arms. "This is a lot for me, okay? This place isn't very clean and it has my anxiety spinning. It's a big change and you know I don't do well with change. There's a lot of uncertainty and I don't do well with that either. I just need to know everything's going to be okay."

Silence fell between the two of them as Remus began to gently rub Virgil's back. "I can't promise you that, I don't know what's going to happen next but I can promise to be by your side. I got you into this mess and I plan on sticking with you until we are out of it."

Virgil let out a shaky laugh as Remus wrapped his arms around the other man, pulling him closer. "You better, thanks to you I've got no where else to go."

Remus laughed. They both knew it wasn't completely true. They were running to Virgil's brother. Virgil had people he could rely on. Remus also had a brother but they hadn't spoken in almost a decade. "You can always come back to my arm... or cum on my arms. I'd like that too."

Virgil snorted and at that moment there was a knock at the door. It wasn't fair that their little heart to hear was being interrupted but before Virgil could panic, Remus shushed him. 

"I was expect this knock, don't worry." He got up, scooping Virgil up as he did. Next thing Virgil knew he was being plopped onto the messy bed and Remus was walking away, giving him a little smirk. "I've got a surprise, just wait there."

Remus opened the door and another man's voice filled the room. Virgil was already going for the pocket knife in his boot, just in case.

"We have brought this up per your request."

"Thanks!" Remus chimed, shuffling around before he shut the door. It wasn't long before he came back into view carrying a military cot. 

"I knew you weren't gonna wanna sleep in the bed, but I wanna keep you by my side so I had them bring up a cot, and I stored one of our emergency blankets in my pocket like a condom when you weren't looking." Remus cackled. He was spontaneous, but he had started thinking things through for Virgil. It made him melt. 

"Thanks Re."

"Anytime, lovebug." Remus said, popping open the cot and setting it next to the bed so they would still be close.

Virgil shivered, "Don't mention bugs or I might not sleep at all." 

Remus cackled again, "I could give you another reason not to sleep." Virgil hit his arm gently but relaxed as Remus gave him another hug. They would get through this because they were together.

Fujin:

Fujin has always been fascinated with internet as soon as he was introduced to it. The idea that mortals can share so many things with other mortals through a screen makes him so happy about the progress humanity has made. But mostly, the "memes" are hilarious even if he doesn't understand half of it.

The concept that you are really popular on the internet both made him feel proud of you and concerned for you at the same time. Of course "concern" being mostly jealousy, but as easy as it comes, easy as it goes. Such as the wind he commands.

When you said that you were planning to do a "charity live stream" event, fujin wanted to know everything about it. He always loved how generous and kind you were.

If fujin had some free time (which he has more of than his brother, but you're not sure if it's because raiden has more responsibilities or just takes them more seriously) he'd ask you if there was anything he could help you with.

And as a matter of fact, you did include him in your plans for the livestream. You custom made him a v-tuber avatar to match with yours. You nervously asked him if it was ok to make him a white fox wearing his outfit. Fujin was so ecstatic over the virtual matching outfits he kissed you as a response.

Needless to say, you raised 500 over the intended goal. And you trended as "top 5 cutest tuber couples" for months.

Liu kang:

Liu kang knew of "tuber" stuff, he just didn't really have an interest in knowing more. However when he found out that you were quite popular as a "v-tuber" he watched one of your streams and was glad he did. Liu saw you in a whole new light, you were so passionate in entertainment it was almost as close as Johnny cage. However, biased as liu might be, you were FAR better than the actor. With no offense to Johnny cage..

When he heard you were doing a charity stream he was more than happy to not only watch, but donate a little bit himself. Liu admired that, despite being popular, you never let fame get to your head. And instead use it to do good.

Liu kang couldn't help but have the biggest smile on his face when you gave him a shout out and committed to a whole half hour bit of you gushing over him. Which is where you originally intended to end the stream after the goal was met but since you saw his name in the donations you went a bit off track.

Kung lao:

Kung lao has only ever used the internet for two things, to look up what some English words mean (liu kang had always been farther ahead of him with the nuance of english, specifically one time looking up what "nuance" ment in mandarin. Translation is a nightmare) and listen to music.

When you mentioned you were a "v-tuber" and had to explain it to him. Kung lao indulged to see one of your livestreams. And just when the monk thought he couldn't get any more smitten with you, he swears he's going to marry you. Eventually.

When you mentioned you were doing a charity, kung lao was not only extremely supportive. He mentioned it whenever it was appropriate. Needless to say you were shocked at how many donations were coming in. With so many supportive messages, you nearly started to cry when, at the last leg of the donation goal, an anonymous donator not only fulfilled the charity goal, it broke it by thousands. And you knew who it was by the donation message alone, you've been around the hot shot celebrity/earthrealm warrior Johnny cage long enough to know exactly how he talks even in text.

After the event you went to thank kung lao for spreading the word. Kung lao tried to be humble about it, but you kissing him just made him propose to you on the spot.

Regardless of your answer then and there. Kung lao is just happy and blessed he met such a beautiful soul like you.

Rain:

Rain is a bit confused about using earthrealm's "internet" but even he had to admit it was extremely useful. And also extremely annoying. No wifi in outworld nor edenia sucks.

Rain often has to visit you just to use it. And that's how he learned you were a "v-tuber". He never thought you were the "idol" type, but when he watched you do your live stream in real time, you had so much confidence and passion in acting out as your "internet persona". Rain thought he couldn't fall harder for you, and for once he wasn't mad when he was wrong.

When you casually mentioned a charity livestream to support earthrealm's wildlife. Rain took that as a grand gesture to display his affections to you. Of course he gets a bit offended when you get the donation, and not recognize him. Although rain reflects that maybe he should have told you his username was "trueroyalrainpurple" before hand. (All the ones he wanted were already taken, rain is so annoyed with the internet)

Regardless you're happy you fulfilled your goals and give rain a big kiss before, and after he tells you that he made the big donation to surpass the goal.

Nightwolf:

Nightwolf is confused and annoyed why people are surprised that he knows how to program, let alone know how to use the internet. Must be some sort of stupid sterotyping. Regardless he absolutely supports your "v-tuber" career. When he can, he has helped you troubleshoot a game or "technical issues" more than once.

You have begged him to join you at least once during your livestreams. But unfortunately he never has the time. But this time he does, and you both decided on a charity stream. He even designs a matching v-tuber avatar with you. Although you are a bit jealous his is so much cooler looking than yours, which nightwolf laughs and kisses your cheek endearingly.

The moment you exceed the goal you share a "virtual tuber kiss" that has the internet talking for several months. Many clamor for nightwolf to become a v-tuber like you, unfortunately he has far too many responsibilities to even try something like this again. Perhaps in a different life when the realms aren't in jeopardy every 5 gods damn days.

This man hasn't touched a computer since 1995. Which means he views the modern internet just like someone's dad. He just learned what a meme is not too long ago. Of course, shang tsung is easily adaptable and gets the hang of things with time.

Shang tsung was surprised that you were something of a popular idol on the internet. He was ready to support your endeavors as you were his favorite little soul.

The hardest part for shang tsung was deciding if he wanted to be anonymous when donating to your livestream charity. Or be bold and let you know exactly who gives you everything you always want.

EXACTLY, he's like an onion, so many layers to him. Once you strip all of that power away he's nothing but that scared little boy back in the village all over again.

He has nowhere to go, he certainly can't go back to Floccesy, they'd treat him like a laughing stock. There was only one place he could go and even that was a risk, luckily UD Ghetsis is a very understanding and patient man.

Even still, sometimes he falls back on his old instincts. Like a dog that continuously gets it's toys and such stolen, it will growl and bare it's teeth at anyone who approaches. Hurting something is so easy, healing that something will take lifetimes and centuries. Some of the scars, mentally and physically, left from Floccesy will never fully heal or fade, but at the end of the day they will get better.

Alright so The Generations AU is an Au that goes off the passage of time and Generally poses the story Upon how Nightmare has to experience those he loves pass away with due time and life basically Circling through as it does

Now this is also like a Dadmare kind of Au with NM having a really Close relationship with his gang members (Cross, Killer, Horror, and Dust) or more of less Sons.

Now in the begining of the Au it really seems like a Simple ordinary run of the mill Bad Sanses Found family with a shit ton of Headcannons sorta spewed in there (like Cross is into Photography, Dust does Needle felting, Killer does carvings n stuff these actually play a part so much later too so like duely note this) but as it progresses Nightmare begins to watch his Boys Grow up and make families of their own, and that time they're still absolute menaces to the AUs yeah though it's a little calmer with Nightmare scheduling accordingly cause he doesn't want his boys to miss out on time with a loved one or ones cause some do indefinitely have kids in the far future

Now yk things seem to be going perfectly fine though theres the first Hick up with Cross's relationship really starting to fall appart with Swap. I'm not too sure what happens majorly between this point Appart from Nightmare being Absolutely pissed at Swap and also Nightmare getting to actually Meet Cross's kids for the first time since he and swap were temporarily taking a break from each other after a really heated argument they had about each other's Jobs of their respective teams, usually wasn't a problem but over the topic it was hard scheduling for making sure they were cared for when they had to do their jobs while Cross did indeed have that and could plan ahead, Swap was often Dragged away at the same time or anytime by Ink and Swap suggested that possibly Cross could Retire from the bad Sanses

Anyways so Cross Lives back in the manor for that time being and NM gets time to spend with his Grandchildren

Not much happens again though more time passes and more and more Problems or just inconveniences happen

But then that's when things kinda go for the worse for Nightmare when he finds Cross unresponsive and ultimately dust's due to a heartbroken soul

With Cross being separated from Swap, which due to the arguments getting worse with every time one arose Which had grew more and more constant by the day they had decided that their Marriage is over (oh yeah did I mention they were married? Er well they were), it left Cross very upset and in Abit of a bad headspace. Cross to kinda put it is like a person with a heart on their elbow (that's what it is right? Recently heard about it and really thought wow it kinda fits Cross quite a bit). He didn't do anything to himself but Fell down due to just how bad he felt and upsetting the whole ordeal was, especially because he still loved Swap even if the relationship was over

Noting Cross had the custody of their two kids, Fluke and Cort, Nightmare takes it upon himself to Protect and Raise them and this point Its where Nightmare kinda realizes or more or less remembers that he's inmortal, but his gang isn't. Even so doesn't really deter him from exactly Promising/swearing to himself that he'll take care of these generations

But uh yeah the general thing is Nightmare Watching over the generations of their Children and their children's Children and ECT ect for however long with the reoccurring of the kids wanting to follow in their parents footsteps plus nightmare ofc adopting more Sanses in the long run

Now though THE ANGST oh boy do I got Ideas

So knowing how these kids are basically similar like mini versions of his found family, there's probably been so many times Nightmare has to keep himself from Bursting into tears whenever he sees of of his kids in their childrens faces or just something that one of them did before that seemed to carry on through the kid like Habits or something

Also the General grief Nightmare would have with every Soul he has to watch pass by knowing he'll Never, Never, See them ever again and he'll live with that forever. Eventually he likely mellows out to acceptance but I don't think he'd ever truely recover from losing his boys that actually made him see life as actually something Truly beautiful instead of a Dark pit it had seemed to much like before they cracked through that wall he built around himself because of his Au and experiences before he even had a chance to really live

On a side note Nightmare does actually get some Support that also tag along with him through these things or more or less ends up picking up a few immortals along the way too so Noot gets some comfort but uh yeah that's kinda all I got of now

I don't even have a solid Baseline for this Au yet and I'm already thinking of All the Different times n stuff for it lol

Though it seems more centralized in the time period not too long after Nightmare looses all his Boys and is around the point of Raising a few of their kids and some Fusions he found too of what will be known as the first generation :>

Also planning on adding accessories that Nightmare was gifted from his kids, maybe something like a Locket from Cross, A Knife from Killer, yk like something that meant a lot to them and They Gifted Nightmare these things cause it resembled them (especially so to Nightmare even if to anyone else they just seem like normal items)

the thing about liking an almost 30 year old show is I'm not sure as much about what went on behind the scenes. and a significant part of that is how awesome it was that the fans were just more separate from creators then, like there was no social media and junk for us to to badger them on about things. but the from their side there wasnt a place they could just dump shit on us for fun. things were told through dvd commentaries and magazines published back then or panels and stuff at conventions or even TV specials and those are all very... ephemeral. like I'm sure its all recorded somewhere but it takes a little more digging and hoping fan websites have the info. and thats doable I'm not asking anyone to help me with that btw i just havent done it yet cause i wanna get thru the show first or I'll have one billion spoilers from not being able to stop reading.

but i think the biggest thing for me rn on stargate is, again i watched atlantis first. and that started in and branched off of like season 8 of sg1. so i know a lot about The Ancients, since they were a big player in SGA, and every time something tangenally related to them comes up in SG1 i get super excited and wave my arms and jump up and down for Daniels attention cause i want him to discover Atlantis so bad. im so excited for him and oh god he has his earpods in he cant hear me-

anyways. connecting these two points..... i have to wonder watching things progress how much they planned ahead. how much did they set up like "... yeah we'll decide to make something of that later" and how much of it was "oh dude the fans are gonna FLIP when we make this reveal in two seasons" you know????? i can listen to stuff about gravity falls when hirch and co talk about how they had no idea where they were going. they were like "well he has a twin somewhere. for some reason. and hes..... well hes there." and they literally came up with the everything on the fly. and then even in Gargoyles, which is old like stargate too, i read apparently the writers called each other once like "WAIT HEY THIS CHARACTER FROM THE VERY BEGINNING FIRST EPISODE? HOLY SHIT WHAT IF HE WAS THIS GUY-" sort of twist like.... way into the show lol

was that what was going on with The Ancients? and their whole..... ascended business? Orlin in this episode was very interesting cause i definitely recognized Oma D from a while back as an ancient, so i was glad Sam compared Orlin to her, but this was the first time theyre REALLY like "yup, that monk and myths of the jaffa werent just talk. this ascension biz is for real and a bigger deal than you thought" BUT! they still havent really connected it to the ancients. at all. i dont think daniel even said the writing on the machine Orlin helped build was ancient, and it didn't look like it, but then like.... Orlin also just said he was Human.

and was that true? WAS he human? humans can ascended, sure. but he also made a freakin stargate. in sam's basement. (Obadiah Stane voice) WITH A BUNCH OF SCRAPS!

... he already was the cause of death for people he cared about once for giving away too much information, i wouldnt be surprised if he lied about being human. but also wouldnt be surprised if the writers were like..... unsure and didnt care cause it doesnt matter lmao they were just vibing. you know. idk im sure Orlin and even Oma will get brought up AGAIN later, im only in the beginnings of season 5 after all and know some spoilers that the ascension thing ans ancients become a big deal later but. yeah its just interesting. i like picking apart creators minds for their stories and its just not possible in the same way on such an old show. even if i could ask them, they'd be having to recall through decades of memories that change as they have over the years. and that provides an interesting color on things as well but... its not the same as knowing what they were thinking back then.

ok im on mobile so ur gonna have to cope with me for a minute long post ahead im so sorry

the muck au is an au where when ashfur comes into the living world, he brings that dark water from the df with him. it forms a decent sized puddle on the edges of the territories on shadow land. and bc it’s in the living world instead, it doesn’t do quite the same thing

the first one to find it is actually puddleshine, who has a good nose and found it while herb gathering. in a panic, ghost ashfur shoves him into it, thinking it’ll kill him. ashfur’s a lot more impulsive in this lol

meanwhile, shadowsight is confused and anxious bc puddleshine’s suddenly gone. he takes it as a punishment for him, leaving him the only healer while he’s still an apprentice. as they look for puddleshine, alderheart comes over to help. shadowsight is kinda sullen and stuff and doubts his visions like crazy.

ashfur knows this and is kinda on a power high due to the muck, so in an attempt to keep him from ruining his plan, he sneaks him out of camp one night and leads him to the pool, where he shoves him in too

shadowsight wakes up in a completely new place, confused and alone. he starts freaking out thinking he’s being punished more, only to realize there’s someone around. he looks around a little and finds puddleshine, who is alarmed that he’s there and also glad to not be alone anymore. he explains what happened to him and shadowsight does so as well.

they just kinda vibe for a while and more cats show up. bristlefrost appears in the middle of the night after falling asleep in her nest, and rootspring follows a few days later. rootspring is the first one who was straight up attacked and doesn’t remember who attacked him. sunbeam arrives a few days after him, followed by alderheart which makes puddleshine worry about shadow having no healers

they spend a lot of time trying to figure out how the heck to get home while this goes on. they have no real leads, and no way to get any. until shadowsight gets a vision from who knows where showing him the way to a second muck puddle.

they get ready to leave only for squirrelflight to appear. she explains brambleclaw (who has since been possessed) threw her in after an argument got out of hand.

idk how long they hang out but lots of cats get sent to this random place until they go to where the second pool is and they have to go through it

aaaand for some reason this transports them to the dark forest so there’s tons of cats there and while they’re there it turns out ashfur can control a lot of them like the spirits in canon, not including the protags and squirrelflight. i haven’t decided why yet. squilf gets captured and the protags have to save everybody and ashfur dies and probably others but i haven’t decided who yet ajdjakfj

anyway they escape through the moonpool and are back in the lake territories wahoo!

okay so i posted chapter one already, im currently writing chapter four (i like to write ahead lmao). i have the concept planned out already, ive been planning this fic since like september or something dkdndkdk

so basically, it's a human, high school setting au where tugger is the main character and most of the POVs focus on him, however other characters, especially misto, will have their times to shine and stuff like that

tugger is 17 in age, a junior in high school. his basic mindset is that he feels like it doesnt matter what his future looks like because what's the point? (he struggles with that burnout yknow). he fucks around a lot, he has a habit of appearing at schools at the most latest times (like period 2 would be starting) or he doesnt even show up at all. he flirts with like literally anyone who wants attention from him. he doesn't give attention to anyone else, people have to come up to him. he never does his assignments, barely pays attention in class, he just doesnt care anymore and he's fine with that mindset. munkustrap is the one who succeeds so what's in it for him? he doesnt wanna become a carbon copy of munk or his dad.

misto is 16 years in age, he's a new kid in the school. victoria is his sister who's a year younger than him. he's shy, quiet, prefers to be alone and feels uncomfortable if a group of loud people are surrounding him. he has trouble reading social cues and doesn't really have much feeling for conversation (very much deadpan humor for him). tugger immediately finds him interesting. is it the eyes? is it the fact that misto literally did not notice tugger's presence for like 5 minutes? tugger knows that there's some secret that he's hiding. how come this kid who went to one of the top private schools in the county is now attending a public school? there's a certain something about misto and tugger can't put his finger on it.

later in the story, the plot will progress to the production of the spring musical which is run and directed by munkustrap with alonzo as the choreographer and demeter as the music director. at the same time, tugger's feelings about misto will progress and eventually, misto will fall for him too. i really want to focus this fic on bonding and getting together, really forming a close relationship before the feelings really start to show, im so excited to write about tugger and misto's story in this fic! there will also be side plots about bombalurina and cassandra getting together, munkustrap and demeter's relationship, victoria and plato getting together, hidden feelings from tumblebrutus, hidden feelings from alonzo, and much more!

macavity will also be a crucial factor in this fic in regards to both misto and tugger's past and present. there's also some things im keeping secret for later chapters!!

(please be warned though that later chapters will be heavy in terms of dark topics, suggestive themes, of course, i will put the warnings ahead of time. i always love to sprinkle a bit of angst into my silly little stories)

i plan to post chapter 2 soon! and i hope you all like the character designs i made for them, ive been so excited to post this fic, tuggoffelees is my entire brain rn and i cant think of anything else.

other characters like bill bailey, george, gilbert, and so on are also present in this fic but theyre more or less in the bg

“Go ahead Texas,” Gov gestured, “and Happy Birthday for today.”

DC politely avoided watching the confusion and sadness on Texas’ face and only looked up when Texas started talking.

“I would like to put forward a proposal for a land merger.”

“Oh my god,” California beat Gov to it, “aren’t you big enough? Why would you even want this?”

“Shut up California,” Texas threw something at the Golden State, which he easily caught.

“Hey,” Gov yelled, “no throwing things.”

“Who would even want to merge with you?” Florida asked.

“Trying to be bigger than me baby brother?” Alaska chuckled as Florida swore in surprise.

“No way he’s merging with me,” New Mexico crossed his arms.

Oklahoma butted in, “and he ain’t taking any of me either.”

Suddenly California’s voice cut through all the arguing, “is this real?”

Texas smirked, “Sure is, home grown in the heart of Texas.”

Before anyone could blink California climbed over the table and lunged at Texas. Everyone sat there incomprehensibly as California’s converse squeaked on the table. Texas seemed to be the only one anticipating California getting physical and braced himself on his chair. California’s legs ended up on either side of Texas’ and the rest of the table went into further shock when, instead of the physical violence they expected, California started kissing Texas and Texas started kissing back.

“What the?” Gov puzzled at the scene.

Texas hooked his hands under California’s legs and hoisted the Golden State up onto the table. California wrapped his legs around Texas’ waist and pulled him in tighter.

Louie was the first to break the silence, “Mais sha, we got them together good.”

DC stood up and banged the table, “Hey, enough! No sex at the table and that includes making out. You two are the reason we have this rule.”

Texas and California broke apart panting muttering apologies as DC’s yelling hit the rest of the table.

“What?” Florida gasped, “it wasn’t Mass and New York?”

New York grunted as California pushed what Texas had thrown at him back to the Lone State, “put it on me you dumb square head.”

Everyone watched closely as Texas opened a small black box and pulled out a ring, “this is Texas’ State Tree Pecan with a band of Texan Silver.”

California hit Texas’ shoulder for taking so long and then held out his hand, “did you ask this at the table because you knew I would say yes?”

“Had to get you to agree to one of my proposals somehow,” Texas slid the ring on California’s waiting finger.

OMG okay, this is the first scene i wrote for the whole fic.

First up is a nod at Texas's relationship with Gov and him seceding and rejoining the Union.

Then I tried to have the normal Table chaos happen around what is normally supposed to be a romantic action. Thought nothing is normal about Texas and Cali.

The State grap stuff over the table from each other all the time so I love the idea of California just bypassing walking around to just leaping over the table to get to Texas with everyone too stunned to move.

Then the subversion of the tropes, instead of a fight breaking out like everyone expects, the couple finally and publicly reveals themselves.

The ring is all Texas stuff, like i planned for California to give a Redwood ring with a gold band to match Texas. I love the idea of the ring being something physical of the other that they have with them.

They both enjoy romance and i have ideas of them in the most romantic situations but for the proposal and the announcement they are together the scene needed to be a big enough deal but familiar at the same time. So a Table Proposal.

A few throw away line from this scene spawned the next fic in the series which has become my biggest series to date.

uwah i know and i swear its in my drafts!!! like... a lot of things are atm until i get my stuff together on this blog dfsdf i just havent had the time/energy as much as i'd like to focus on a multi hence why i'm hiding on kunsel's blog rn

BUT i'm slowly getting there and fixing up the blog and saving up my words to start replying to threads on here!!!

HOWEVER. part of what makes it easier for me to reply / muster up the words is to have at least some ooc interaction or some back and forth with asks that i can peck at whenever i have the time. it helps me establish the different relationships characters have with each other and build up their dynamics! ( and also i benefit from the occasional poke : bearer of the out of sight, out of mind curse )

so be it asks or just chatting things up never hesitate in bringing up new ideas!! it might take a while until we can get to them BUT by talking about them ahead of time it's gonna be all the easier to write ( at least for me. when i say plotted i mean like. we plot plot. autism flavor: must have a plan. i dont do as good with spontaneous things outside of asks x) )
