I don't get how I can have a cold since the first of October that lasted 4+ weeks, get pink eye on the third week, get an even worse cold, get an ear infection, find out i have some sort of asthma, then take amoxicillin for ear infection, find out I'm allergic to amoxicillin and have a full body breakout for almost five days, be almost normal minus constant coughing for another week, and now I have probably a sinus infection and another rash on my hands and feet. I don't believe in God but I swear somebody is out to get me. my nose wants me dead.

Update on the situation at the local plague house: my partner is pretty much recovered but for some lingering fatigue. I am doing much much much better today tho I am still congested and coughing, I no longer feel crushed by fatigue or overwhelmed by malaise. I expect the cough to linger.

this was for his last set of vaccines two weeks ago. tomorrow he’s cleared and going to run around the park on his own two feet for the first time and i can’t wait.

#wellllll #carbon monoxide alarms (plural!) went off and fortunately it was a false alarm #like i fully understand that #but i had a migraine from my double vaxs yesterday and my apartments an absolute mess and i can't get my meds bc theres a national shortage #so imma just spend the next however long doing the anxiety doom spiral of embarassment bc a) false alarm at 10:30 on a saturday #(still a good thing in the scheme of things) and b) even im embarassed by my apartment but the executive dysfunction and anxiety #are a real sonofabitch #and the more i try to settle down for the night the more i keep remembering parts of the mess to be embarassed about #like it's nice that 9-1-1 is so compassionate about their call victims #but i'd be too embarassed to ask somebody about it bc it draws attention to it and then that defeats the point #like the whole video thing of “don't tell people not to mind the mess in the background bc 95% of them won't notice until you point it out”#but like real life #also im p sure this house is the one that would come to my work in the case of an alarm so...yaknow #anyways #gonna go try not to shrivel up of embarassment at ass o'clock on a saturday #thank god my next appt is this week #fuck i need my meds back

So I woke up this morning and had a moment of, "wow, my body hurts a lot more than usual today, that's weird" ...about midway through my shower, realized I also had a fever and sore throat + the overall aches weren't easing at all like they normally do once I'm up and moving 😔

Covid test was positive, I called it in and went right back to bed but I'm literally just sick enough to be entirely useless without being so sick I might sleep. Deeply! Annoying!

Feel like I should get a covid antibody test just to see because I swear on my life I have never had covid.

#i test whenever im sick which isn't all that often and ive never had a test come back positive #or a combo of symptoms which line up with covid infection #im fully vaxed but I havent been exactly cautious about exposure over the years
