I think it should be mandatory that every movie or tv show, animated, live action or otherwise, make a production book. I want to see everything that went into the concept design, preproduction and post production. Show me EVERYTHING, I want to appreciate all the hard work behind the scenes. I want to appreciate all the artists who's designs didn't make the cut or were only seen for like a single frame. I want to appreciate the story boards of the scenes that were never produced. I want to look at the early design of the main character that was a little funky but has a charm to it. I want to see the details in the costuming and the set design and the world building. I want to know it all.

i can’t stop thinking about john’s introduction to the sign of four and how for basically every adventure so far you can kinda gauge the vibe based on that introduction. does john sound happy? excited? sad? angry? and how in the intro for the sign of four he sounds fucking broken like some part of him didn’t make it out of this story. and in those few seconds i remember thinking that while it sounds like mary is all over this adventure i don’t think she makes it in the end. and with each part i keep going back and forth between whether mary is here to stay, either as a fourth member of the gang or as a frequent guest appearance, or if she sacrifices herself for tonga and on some level for her dad…i just don’t know but im leaning more towards mary sacrificing herself and that the whole sign of four thing ends with her also just the whole energy of the show it feels like they have to deal with the mary morstan question and not like they really want her there, does anyone else get that vibe?

something wonderfully important has happened! my "wrestling dad" josh shepard got his book of wrestling erasure poems published & it is up for sale (either 10$ or "name a fair price"). this is incredibly important to me as im one of the first people to have gotten the privilege to read these poems as josh wrote them. josh is incredibly important to me as a friend, he is the guy who introduced me to wrestling & gave me a deep, unrestricted passion for it.

josh is so fucking talented, & creative. he is also my favorite poet, not just bc he's my friend. the book's flow is dedicated to the flow of a wrestling match, following all the hallmarks (the lock up, big heat, the comeback, ect) with the themes of his poems to create a match like narrative for the book.

there are like three specific poems in the batch that i want tattooed on me, a stone cold one, a mick foley one, & a briscoe brother's piece. the aj lee pipebomb poem moved me to actual tears, even when i read it now. the macho man poem abt being bipolar struck me so hard i rethought my own feeling on my mental health. josh pushes impressive themes of capitalism, mental health, poverty, & family theoughout many of his poems. i know ive got a few wrestling fans here, & if you're also into poetry please considered josh's work. or just if you want to support a friend of mine.

a cool way to support josh's work is by requesting it at your local library! even suggesting to bookstores that have poetry sections or interacting with the work thats already published. following/reposting josh's work for exposure also is great.

support my kayfabe father!!! i watched him turn his hard times into beautiful pieces. even in the beginning when he only had 3 or 4, before he even thought he could make the book i saw his passion for these pieces. i was there for every heart wrenching rejection letter & every hard earned spot. every time he was working late at the library sending me new ideas bc he couldn't watch dynamite. every single wrestling poem josh has written has now been published & that is a huge success. he puts in the work like a wrestler puts in the work in the ring. hard hitting, gritty, & beautiful.

anyway if anyone wants 26k of a transcendence au fic that includes outsider pov of alcor from a perspective we don't often get, gratuitous references to tau mutuals, tons of little sentences and phrasings that i added in specifically because i think i'm hilarious, numerous cameos and references to other tau fics/arcs, a lot of fake legal stuff that sounds accurate if you don't think about it too hard, a sneaky crossover with one of my own original stories that hasn't been written yet, and so many metric tons of worldbuilding that i did behind the scenes that it'll probably force me into writing more in this 'verse: this might be something you can look at!

Oh yeah racism and antiblackness in europe is horrid. The racism isnt the same brand as the US since were working with different histories but that doesnt mean it isn't bad. From my experience the big thing is basically more left leaning areas being very faux progressive where they will be insanely racist but also be SO deadset on "we dont have race here" that any poc acknowledging an extremely obvious Racialization gets them gaslit instead. "Race isnt a thing so racism isnt either. Were not like those americans. " its obvious to everyone that has eyes but the denial is a huge barrier people refuse to get through in step 1. So thats why you may see so many europeans insisting they dont have racism or race ideas. They just refuse to use the terms and talk around it but still do the same thing.....while also insisting that "potato eater" for a german person or calling someome fat is the same level as the n word. I would argue that "immigrant" is basically a racial slur here (or at least approaching that territory) in how its used against brown and black folks. I have literature i can dig out for compariosn if you're interested but i get it if you got too much on your plate with the usa ORZ.

Oh that's a rabbit hole that at this moment I do not feel like getting into. But I know. Race isn't real, no, but when you create 400 years worth of system around this fake idea, it's certainly not going to vanish in one day because "oh we made it up" yeah how convenient for you.
