based on the wolf of snow hollow i'd recommend ready or not (2019), what we do in the shadows (2014), the return of the living dead (1985), werewolves within (2021), villains (2019), the final girls (2015), bodies bodies bodies (2022), scare me (2020), an american werewolf in london (1981), housebound (2014), cursed (2005) and harpoon (2019) because they're great fav horror comedies starring quirky chaotic characters. 

based on the platform i’d recommend snowpiercer (2013), cube (1997), parasite (2019), battle royale (2000), us (2019), fresh (2022), the hunt (2020) and the menu (2022) which all contain social commentary about privilege and power. 

based on the night house i'd recommend the lodge (2019), watcher (2022), the invisible man (2020), perfect blue (1997), the haunting (1963), let's scare jessica to death (1971) and resurrection (2022) about women struggling with paranoia and their grip on reality.

based on alien i'd recommend the thing (1982), sunshine (2007), the descent (2005), annihilation (2018), nope (2022), 10 cloverfield lane (2016) and event horizon (1997) because they're some of my fav isolated setting creature horrors.

based on get out i'd recommend the people under the stairs (1991), his house (2020), savageland (2015) and the blackening (2022) for horror with commentary about racial injustice, and black swan (2010), i see you (2019), the wailing (2016) and barbarian (2022) for very twisty gripping horror.

i'm honestly not very familiar with the vaporwave aesthetic/genre but i'd say i saw the tv glow (2024), it follows (2014), cam (2018) and videodrome (1983) have some vaporwave elements!

wow... what a season. it feels weird to say that this little 6-episode side quest, in all of the 19 seasons of d20, is one of my favorites they've ever done but it just is. it had all the stakes and humor and drama that you could possibly want, all balanced with an incredible cast of players. the table chemistry was excellent, the characters were so perfectly themselves, the TROPES were OFF THE CHARTS!

i can't quite remember the last time i finished something and ached so sharply for there to be more. i just know I'm gonna be thinking about this one for a long time

hm i think after the rapture joel only tried to use his soul magic (not magic, according to him) once, in esmp s2, where he used the last of his clay he took from mezeleas stores during the rapture to create 'god joel', and never again because he was so worried that it wouldn't work (not that he told anyone that). until he joined hermitcraft and began sculpting again at last. thats his armour stand dabbling hehe. maybe soon he'll start experimenting on transferring his soul to his new sculptures. they're not mezelean clay clones but maybe they'll work :33

he's probably used to gore and gritty stuff like that since he sees it often being a jujutsu sorcerer and all. not to mention his technique is literally blood. maybe he's desensitized to gore films, the most you'll get from him is a disgusted scowl.

BUT DID YOU SEE HOW QUICK HIS EYE OPENED WHEN HANAMI SHOWED UP BEHIND HIM. YOURE SO FUCKING FR ABT JUMPSCARES. Noritoshi is that guy who wouldn't scream or yelp but gasp really loudly and jump out of his skin.

i feel like they get him most in horror because of the music building up anticipation. if its one of those fake outs where the jumpscare comes a bit after, he's fucked UP. It makes him instantly miffed, as he tries to regain his composure. He swears he's not usually like this, it got him by surprise is all..!

Noritoshi is the type that'd only watch a horror movie if the story is rich and complex. He's the type of guy to like open endings that make you think.. if it's a guilty pleasure movie where all the protags make stupid decisions, he gets annoyed right off the bat.

He's groaning and complaining about how imbecile the characters are, but would still watch it with you because you personally invited him. If he's lucky you could fall asleep on his shoulder or [insert movie cliche here] how could he pass that up? But Noritoshi wouldn't be able to focus on you if he gets twice as annoyed because its a bad movie + jumpscares. it still startles him, but the movie is so terrible, he's embarrassed it got him, especially in front of you!!!

if you get involved and you tell him to quiet down, Noritoshi would shift his focus towards you. like that awkward guy who thinks he's being smooth and lowkey about how he cuddles up next to you. He wants to be the tough guy who's shoulder you can hide in, and he is!! just not.. with jumpscares.......
