it was @onlymingyus who encouraged me to post my writing! i've been writing since i was a little kid and i've always wanted to work with books, and my dream is to work in the publishing industry as a literary agent or an editor, so my own writing is more of a side hobby. on tumblr i started as a silent reader and then eventually made my fic recs blog @junhui-recs and started talking to people like mars and the lovely members of svthub, and i was like well why not post my stuff too? then it took me a while to warm up to writing smut bc it wasn't what i was used to (and still isn't tbh, it's a struggle to write it sometimes) but it's so rewarding to share it with everyone and get to talk to other writers and carats :)
and i have no idea asgkdjfhs i honestly just write things that i like to read so it's catered to my own tastes lmao but i'm so so glad other ppl like to read them too 💓 it's so satisfying when i open tumblr looking for something very specific to read and i can open my own masterlist and find exactly what i imagined in my brain hehe. from what i've noticed my best fics are ones i've written when i was super emotional so maybe that's something? like if i'm feeling generally bored or unenthusiastic then my fics tend to be meh. i feel like it's super obvious bc when i feel bad about my fics it shows in my writing, so i try not to write when i'm not in a good place because i want my fics to be something i enjoy looking back on instead of cringing at myself 😭 i have a lot of fics in my google drive that will never ever see the light of day bc i cringe so hard at who i was when i wrote them lmao

Status update the guilty gear cards are activating my latent perfectionism. Badly
#i got worried that the transparent cards look silly so! im just gonna have 2 folders. 1 with transparent bgs and 1 with white bgs#but uhhh#with the original transparent cards. i tried to align the art more than the cards themselves#cuz a lot of them are printed off center. severely#but now that the cards are on a white bg… some of them look messy -_- very off center#so i had to fix all those -_- im leaving the transparents the way they are tho…#also! scanned most of the booklet. 60 something pages. i need to re-do the first couples pages cuz they came out yucky but yeah.#happy :) excited :) yay#these cards are based on an existing system i guess so i probably couldve just looked into it to figure out the rules? but well. its cool.#i need to get a binder for these cards… idek what im gonna do with all the dupes… gah#maybe resell em on ebay if i ever have the drive to… mail a bunch of stuff… sigh#the kat goes meow

ok took a GET SCARED break time to go back 2 physics the library closes in an hour and a half..
#im trying 2 decide what 2 get 4 dinner... since it is my treat day :]]#im 3/4ths of the way done with my physics 4 the day. yay#3/4th is technically enough to satisfy da goal (the goal is 100/day but its rounded to da nearest hundred. so technicallyyy i only have 2 d#51 a day i just like having it be clean numbers... otherwise i get scared.#BUT. my weekly goal is 3 stars a week WHICH ive hit 4 this week. the stars r 1 star per hundred lessons rounded etc u get it.#and after i get these last 25 done today ill only have 284 left and then i can finally graduate lol. only a couple months late <- purely bc#ive been procrastinating. i couldve finished like summer of 2021 but i didnt feel like ittt. so yes./#but that means that if i just satisfy my weekly goal next week i will be allll done. i think i might let myself have a little extra spendin#money as a reward.. like maybe ill get 10 bonus stars for fully finishing school. and since school is a yellow task that is 15 whole dollar#very very very exciting ok now back 2 it.
