i think a big issue i have with the way people (usually cis, but also some gnc/trans ppl too) talk about trans men is that we are not a monolith

"trans men arent curvy they have binders and top surgery" some of us do, some of us dont

"trans men always have body dysphoria (so you shouldnt draw/depict a trans man with boobs or wide hips)" some of us have heavy dysphoria yeah but some of us dont

"trans men cant id as lesbians/have a connection to womanhood" a lot of us dont but a lot of us DO and its not up for you to decide

"a trans man calling himself a femboy is transphobic to himself" you cant use labels to be transphobic to yourself, if someone chooses to call themselves that then its not YOUR problem

"trans men dont experience misogyny/its easy for trans men to pass" SOME OF US DO. SOME OF US DONT.

being me is genuinely so funny bc all my (trans) friends regularly forget whether im transmasc or transfemme, the oldest among them immediately assumed wrong when we first talked, one of them invented the string of words "packer tucker" and now thats an inside joke / nickname, and the newest friend has now independently reinvented the concept of transfemmasc and insists, to my delight, that he is correct in his assertation that i am both transfemme And transmasc
