A princess au I had created a WHILE ago.

To give some background Jae is Rosemary's bodyguard, he isn't the only one though the other bodyguards are Chiara and Talbott. But because he's more skilled in combat he's Mostly seen at her side often. As you may have guess they don't get along and often argue with each other, jae was hires when he stole from the kings (Rosemary's dads) and being impressed that he stole from them and (almost) successfully king Victor has a little friendly duel with jae to see his swordsmen skills and jae beat him! (Which has never happened which made the kings shooketh).

So seeing as how jae beat him he offered him a job to protect his daughter the princess Rosemary. And in exchange he'll be paid and have a place to stay at the palace. So he accepted. (Rosemary in this au at least in the beginning is a little snobby and thinks she's better than everyone but at some point jae does humble her and she starts to learn to be more understanding).

And rosemary meeting him doesn't like him because his birth place is the kingdom of lions (I'm still working on the names don't judge me) and she views them as a bunch of overconfident, barbaric, and untrustworthy people and so when she heard that jae stole from her father's she doesn't trust him and just views him as someone beneath her. Which jae doesn't like how she just treats him like that and snaps back at her which surprises her since usually people just do what she says.

And so starts the arguing lol
