first day of practice placement, i thought. i'll take the train early in the morning to get there in time. odd that the bus to the train station doesn't go that early - it does on tuesday, just not this monday. weird! alas i must get up extra early to walk the whole way to the train station!

finds the place. tries to call them but gets no reply. a memory emerges: my classmate mentioning several weeks ago that january 6th is a bank holiday in sweden (but not norway).
