eri & ilma are twin sorcerers and children of one of gojo's cousins in my jjk au. they're 8 y/o in the story itself, but i felt like drawing them as they'd look like as teenagers as well!

↓ explanation of their techniques below the cut ↓

the twins have somewhat odd cursed energy, in that it is shared between them → this has both positive and negative effects! because they share cursed energy, the amount they can use overall is higher, but it is split between them.

ilma's technique is primarily cursed energy suppression, such that he is able to suppress the cursed energy of anyone weaker* than him by maintaining skin-to-skin contact via one of his hands. the effect lasts only as long as he is able to maintain contact with them. (*unless the person in question allows him to usw his technique/doesn't fight it)

he is also able to "borrow" cursed energy from others by maintaining contact with both of his hands at the same time → he has an internal limit of how much cursed energy he can store, which includes his own, and once that limit is reached he both cannot take anymore and cannot use his suppression technique either.

the amount of cursed energy he can steal from another person is ~25% of whatever cursed energy they are outputting during whatever duration of time he maintains contact (1 minute of contact converts to ~15 seconds).

eri's technique is primarily cursed energy boosting, such that she is able to increase the overall cursed energy of anyone she maintains contact with by maintaining skin-to-skin contact via one of her hands. unfortunately, she isn't a fan of being touched, so she mostly doesn't use this part of her technique.

she is also able to use the cursed energy ilma "borrows" from others to access and use their technique(s). the effect and duration of her use of borrowed techniques is dependent on how much of their cursed energy ilma was able to take. the amount of energy used is directly proportional to how much the technique would take when the original user uses it → it's not a copy, it's literally just the original users technique.

in the story, eri is able to summon one of geto's curses, because she's using his technique. in theory she could use his technique to swallow a curse, but it would merely be added to his store of curses and when the borrowed cursed energy is used up, she would no longer have access to it.

eri & ilma also, when they're older, have a binding vow that limits their cursed energy by ~10% unless they're holding hands. when holding hands their cursed energy is boosted to ~110%

Ilma never intended the lake to be a permanent solution. She didn't even want it to be a long-term one. The magick wasn't built to shield her body from the passage of time.
