I FINALLY FINISHED THE ONESHOT FOR MY IKREN IDIOT AU!!! :D

I decided to finish it today in honor of American Idiot’s 20th anniversary! (Which is the album it’s based off.) Green Day has been one of my favorite bands since childhood, so this is kind of a tribute to my child self lol. :)

You don’t have to have context from the album to read this btw. :) it’s angst with a happy ending! :D

Of course I had to have a Ikren oc too or what kind of self insert person will I be? She’s Lor! She’ll snap if you can’t do your job right, her systems are full of salt for that salty attitude that you can’t tell whats a joke and what serious anymore. Easy to spook but she’ll quickly go back and give you a ear (antenna?) full.

(SPOILER WARNING!!!! This animatic contains spoilers for a later chapter in @caandydosvale and I’s fic. As well as some spoiler scene clarification below)

Despite this being one of the scrappiest, roughest things I’ve ever made, I’m still really proud of how this turned out.

So yeah, Zoar does play the electric guitar and it originally belonged to Dib. The head was adjusted to resemble the irken signina, by ours truly, Zim. Dib repainted the eyes on it from red to amber once discovering Zoar actually had natural amber eyes.

During this chapter, Zoar and BH have met a handful of times, but are still very early in their enemies>acquaintances>friends stages of their relationship. So for anyone who thought this was Zoar singing about BH, nah.

(1/3) Lyn Model Sheet

This was mostly done for fun and as you can see I gave this model sheet a more cartoon look that is to make it easier if I ever doodle/make a long comic about these irkens

Her outfit is more purple leaning because this something ironic with blue matching so well with purple and the the act in Ch. 40

There’s some notes off to the side with this one, I’ve also dulled her PAK color with the idea that she really did try to erase all Ikren colors on her but really couldn’t so the PAK is just dulled in hue.

(3/3) Model Sheet

The only thing too note with this is that the only this still the same is her trophies on her wrists. Again all of this is more cartoony/simple to make drawing Lyn easy for repeating artwork

I’ll do one photo where Lyn, Pax, and Lime are all lined up to get a basic idea of their collective heights next to one another.
