So I recently saw @katriniac's cool post about doing an ikemen tier list! I wanted to do one myself, but I noticed there weren't any completed ones. Like she said, the one she posted was the most complete one, but even that left out some dudes that I like. SO.

I made one. :D

And here's my list as of right now!

❤️ These are the dudes that I adore with my entire being. I enjoyed their routes and I also always want to read their stories. I admittedly simp for them super hard lol I put Nobunaga first because he def is still my top fave~ Keith is up there because I'm lowkey simping even if I don't really know him yet. (that voice tho)

🧡 This next category is for the dudes who I really, really adore. They're not the best of the best for me, but I still love em!

🧡 the "baby" category refers to the boys who are so super cute to me. Can either find them attractive or see them as just guys who need protected

💛 this is the tier for guys who are just ok. I find them attractive but can either take or leave them.

💚 this tier is for guys that I see more as a pal or bro. Don't see them in a romantic way

So I finally decided to try the Ikemen Series tier list thing and it's been quite fun so far, here's the first one:

(I've only played Ikepri, Ikevamp and Ikerev as of today, meaning those characters are the ones I know the most about, so I will only do the remaining two for now. I'm planning to get more familiar with other games in the series as well, not sure when that day will come though.)

Tier 1: As stated in today's fact, Shizuku and Haruka can be considered the most attractive characters in the game, as multiple characters have shown attraction to them. Shizuku moreso than Haruka, but there's not too much of a difference to separate the tiers.

Tier 2: These characters have all been stated somewhere to be attractive.

Mafuyu is considered to be outstanding in all fields, including appearance. It's occassionally commented that she is quite pretty. Ichika and KAITO's first kizuna title is "Ikemen while playing", ikemen meaning handsome or cool. Ena has a Twitter account for selfies that has a reasonable following, and she often gets comments saying that she's pretty or cute. Len has a similar sort of idol aura to Haruka does, and is referred to as 'princely'.

Tier 3: These characters are never explicitly stated in the game to be attractive, but you can work it out.

A few background characters in Petit SEKAI Episode 9 mention that Akito and Toya are hot. Given that the miniseries is non-canon and a gag show it's up for debate how true this is, although it is a believable detail, hence why they're in this tier.

As for Rui, we have to look at the Valentine's Virtual Live from 2021 (wiki screenshots below). Keep in mind here that Rui is not popular in school at all and doesn't have many friends at this point in the game. He mentions that he received a few boxes of chocolate in his shoe locker on Valentine's Day, which admittedly could be platonic. However, the fact that this continues on into a joke about Tsukasa trying to claim that he got chocolates too before revealing that he got friendzoned by multiple girls (more on that in a second), makes it seem more likely that these weren't platonic. Linking back to the fact that he's not popular and doesn't really have many friends, he's probably pretty good-looking.

Tier 4: An being scouted as a model was an important part of the plot of Wishing For Your Happiness Upon The Blue Sky, and it's mentioned in an area conversation that Kanade has been talent scouted for modelling before.

Tier 5: Full disclosure that probably all of the MMJ VSingers are either pretty or cute, the ones mentioned here are just the ones I remember it being stated/implied. In the April Fools 2022 area conversation with the Lukas, MMJ!Luka says that WxS!Luka is very cute. N25!Luka calls her MMJ variant out for calling herself cute, and MMJ!Luka says that she herself is cute. (TL)

Kohane is mainly referred to as cute by An, which is biased, but other characters have pointed this fact out before as well, so she qualifies for this tier.

Mizuki loves cute clothes and accessories and always tries to look cute. I believe a few other characters have called them cute, but unfortunately the only instance I can actually remember is one transphobic faceless background character saying "you can't tell and they're super cute".

Also Minori and Airi are here because they're idols and have been called cute because that's part of being an idol I suppose.

Tier 6: Yes he gets his own tier because it's funny. This guy runs on rule of funny like 50% of the time. Anyway, as mentioned earlier, in the 2021 Valentine's Virtual Live, he gets annoyed when he hears Rui talking about receiving (implied romantic) chocolate and tries to claim that he too received (implied confession) chocolate, before saying too much and revealing that he only received friend chocolates that girls gave out to all the other boys as well.

Tsukasa's actually a lot more popular than Rui and doesn't have the same "outcast" reputation, plus in his A Once-In-A-Lifetime Pandemonium card story, Ibuki (Taniyama) mentions that Tsukasa's friends from class are really popular with girls, and Rui's friends are surprised he's in that kinda crowd (not that Tsukasa quite gets it). What I'm saying is that he's in a crowd of popular guys that are good with women and he's failing in that second aspect. The reason why is never stated but considering the school's resident outcast is able to get Valentine's chocolate for probably no reason other than looks, it's safe to assume Tsukasa is maybe lacking in that field.

But.

I think two guys have flirted with him? One definitely has anyway. The other is more up for debate but was probably written with the intent of ship tease. Depends on how you choose to interpret it.

In other words on a scale of attractive to unattractive he's the secret 3rd option (appeals to the mlms).

Otome game! Tag someone whose tier list you want to see!

This is the most complete one I've found. They included 8 Cybird games: Destined to Love, Midnight Cinderella, Ikemen Sengoku (missing Keiji and Kanetsugu), Ikemen Live, Ikemen Revolution, Ikemen Genjiden, Ikemen Vampire, and Ikemen Prince. I think it's missing only the 3 new princes, Kanetsugu, and Keiji.

💚 So far no one has been able to unthrone Sasuke. Everything about him is perfect for me. His supportive nature, humor, genius intellect, kindness, scientific bent, curiosity, bravery, sweetness, reliability, open-mindedness, understanding nature, resourcefulness, resiliency, loyalty, glasses, and .... he looks equally hot in his lab coat as in his ninja garb.

🩵 If Tears of Themis was included in this tiermaker, Artem Wing would firmly be in "Top Love Interests". WHERE he would fall in the ranking order is less certain, though. This entire section is in constant rotation of who is where, based on my mood swings or hormone horniness at any given moment.

💙 Again, if ToT was included, Vyn Richter would fit here. If I could have added Kanetsugu, he'd be here for certain (I'll wait for his route before I decide to bump him up to the turquoise tier).

💜 I hold strong feelings and connections to these guys, but I simply can't see them as potential lovers. I adore them, I would donate an organ for them, I would spend hours/days/years with them.

🩷 Oof, this category HAD to be made specifically for Mitsuhide. And then I ended up adding a few more curiosities to the collection. These are the mad lads whose stories I NEED to read because I'm so very very intrigued by them and I love how they are written. But there isn't a shred of sexual or physical attraction existing for me (okay...maybe a shred for Seth. And maybe maybe for Mitsuhide). If I could have added Keiji and the new characters from Ikemen Prince, Keith and Gilbert, this would be the best category for them.

❤ This category...? Um, I needed a place to put the dudes who are HAWT🔥 but I think are toxic or crass or just not my cup of tea. If other otome games were included in this list, I would definitely put Soichiro from "7 Hotties All My Husbands" and Rei Shindo from "Several Shades of Sadism". Takasugi would scratch a very particular itch I have if only he wasn't such an uncommunicative jerk! Faust with his glasses, stern expression, scientific curiosity, and high standards is SO MY TYPE, but the game developers decided to have him pretend to be a priest (masquerading as clergy or religious vocation is a squick for me). Those are just a few examples of men who are in that category of "you're so yummy, but you'll give me an upset stomach, so I have to control myself."

✧ I am not a stickler for IC / OOC. I believe that since we're not official writers for these games, everything we write is OOC. I personally will try to stick to my belief of what I think IC for the character based on what I interpret from the game and don't like arguments about this.

✧ I enjoy gentle femdom, and so loose aspects of that (if the fanfic is not centered on that) will sometimes pop up. It's been a while since I've written it, however.

✧ I usually don't see any of the characters as strictly straight and so will ship suitors together at times, or have the suitors romantically interested in each other when writing polyships. I will also reblog trans hcs and such too if I enjoy them. If that bothers you please just leave me be.

✧ Due to liking Gilbert, I'm now able to have a character I feel like I can explore kinks and themes that I felt like I couldn't with Isaac. Unfortunately, Isaac is the outlier in my normal flavor of faves from before the cybirdie games.

✧ I write for myself first and foremost. If you dislike it, just leave me alone.

✧ Always happy to answer qs about my fics or blog

✧ I have a lot of issues IRL and so it's hard for me to write often, and guilt associated with this is why I do not do requests often.

✧ I am unsure of how others view me, but I am rather anxious and shy, so I often do not reach out to others. I am also quite busy when I am online, and so messages may be neglected since I do get a good amount of them. I Love to talk to others!! I do not mind (polite) asks and such!! Just....busy.

✧ A huge part of fandom for me is reading other people's interpretations of characters. I think discussion surrounding characters is fun, and I enjoy seeing the various conclusions people come to about how a character is. Because of this, you may see me 'contradict' some things ive written when reblogging others works/discussions, or even discussing things on my own. It's just fun to consider a character through multiple angles.

✧ I can't figure out tone often with the use of anon, and in general I don't do well with 'overfamiliar rudeness' with people I do not know. So please no playfully rude messages on anon.

✧ I treat everyone as equally as possible. More specifically I do not believe there are '#1 fans' of charas, I don't think a follower count = fandom respect levels, etc etc. Unfortunately if you're pretty rude to me, even after a chance to step back, then I'm likely going to be rude back/block. Don't be a weirdo about this.

✧ I've had this blog since 2017, and I've been writing for longer than that. I like being creative, even if I struggle a lot. I am lucky enough to have my writing in a physical zine, and that is gouda enough for me.

✧ I consider this a writing AND fandom blog, and that is why I will make posts about fandom, as well as the games I enjoy, beside my writing.

1. I rank characters in games like genshin by who can kill my enemies the fastest, so my current favorites list is Kaeya, Diluc, Childe, Noelle, the traveler, and scaramouche/the wanderer. Rosaria is growing on me, and I just got Alhaitham, but neither of them is super leveled yet so we'll see what happens. Also, Thoma, despite not being a killer, is a favorite. Klee and Kazuha are cuties, and Zhongli has potential to end up on my list (cause dragon) I just don't feel like I know him, and have never seen him fight.

3. All twst boys are squishy boys who need love and protection. I think Mal is my favorite, but it's one of those "do I simp for you, or am I projecting on you" situations. But aside from that idk a favorite.

4. Marius. Von. Hagen. He really solidified that I might be moro-romantic. But Vyn is definitely a close second, though he's in the same situation as Malleus.

5. I love Dia, cause he's me. I really enjoyed Fenn and Lou's routes. Roy is getting a lot of attention from me cause I'm pissed at Lynt rn, and the rest are squishy boys (except maybe guy. I never know how to feel about him)

6. Mammon. I love him. I love him. I love him. I would die for him. I like the rest too, to a ridiculous extent, but Mams is my favorite.

7. I've really enjoyed everyone's route so far. Vincent was my first man, but it's really hard to pick a fave. I really want to play Charles'route, but it's not out yet, so I'm just giving him love through events rn 😂

8. My top five who live in my office are Nagisa, Mayoi, Mika, Nikki, and Hiiro....but there's quite a few that have grown in me.

9. Yves , Clavis, and Rio are my current beloveds. I'd date any of them fr fr. Leon and Sariel get honorable mentions, and I think I'm gonna really enjoy Licht's route....but the rest I am a little scared for 😂

10. This game is so fucking good I can't. I really like the twins. Their true forms are so pretty, and they are both flustering in their own ways. I adore Kuya as well. I also like Kuro a lot, he's a squishy boy who needs cuddles. Yakumo, Aki, and kagemaru get honorable mentions, and I ended up really enjoying Aoi's route much to my surprise.

I think those are all the characters in games I currently play... hopefully this wasn't too much information, but it's your fault for getting me started 😂

hello! I was looking through your blog and I saw a lot of ikemen prince post, I wanted to know what your thoughts are about their routes. I read Clavis' route and I really liked it. Is there another route you would recommend?

Hey! So I have not read Clavis' route yet. Of the Ikemen Prince guys I recommend (since you like Clavis') to go for Nokto or Sariel next.

If you want a real dynamic switch go for Licht or Luke.

My top tier boys from Ikemen Prince are Leon and Chevalier if you just want my opinion lol.

Next on my to-do list is Jin and my most-anticipated route is Gilbert.

It’s a been awhile since I did a tier list for the Ikemen Series and I haven’t done one with all of the characters before so I just did one. This is solely based on my opinion but it might not be 100% accurate because I feel I didn’t have enough different columns to work with and it was hard to place some people. Also all of the IkeRev characters are at the bottom because I don’t play IkeRev.

Some thoughts on Ikemen Prince, about a week into playing

- Actually love the rewards in the daily free gacha so far. It’s a mixed bag of avatar stuff, room decor, and items, as near as I can tell, but I’d rather get that stuff for free than a BUNCH of low-tier cards or all room decorating stuff like Ikemen Sengoku.

- Super love being GIVEN a 5 star card and being allowed to redraw it until I get what I want. I should have redrawn it a few more times but meh, I have other 5 stars already. It took me MONTHS to get a 5 star card in Ikemen Vampire without spending money.

- I think the cards are better looking than IkeVamp’s, even the low-tier cards. I felt like IkeVamp cards were MOSTLY kind sameface stock sprites and not even good quality sameface game sprites.

- I think the follower/following system is much more workable than sending out tons of invites to try and get a follow back. My list in IkeSen is MOSTLY inactive accounts and I won’t weed them out because of what a pain it is to get people to accept my requests, especially when I jave no idea how long ago most of these people actually played.

- I’ve been delighted with the story SO FAR. I quit played most cybird games because I didn’t think the stories were interesting (me and my nearest and dearest have been complaining about IkeVamp’s plots for years), and I feel like IkePri has a localization “vibe” that’s more similar to Ikemen Sengoku, which is a huge plus.
