Ikemen Series Tier List Maker
Hi, I know I've been quiet lately, sorry for that. Work and school have been too much but I give my best to dedicate more time to translating again.
Anyway, I was a bit bored on the weekend and created a tier list maker for the most recent Cybird games (including the three (one still unreleased but I'm hyped already) collab games) up from Ikemen Sengoku.
Feel free to rank your fav suitors or sort them into personality type categories or whatever you want to. I'd appreciate it if you shared your tierlists by reblogging them to this post but you don't have to. But maybe this way, we find people here who share similar taste in fictional men haha
Here you go~
Here's my tier list btw
Tumblr media
(The images are a bit wonky after downloading the tierlist, sorry.)

Hey friends!
So I recently saw @katriniac's cool post about doing an ikemen tier list! I wanted to do one myself, but I noticed there weren't any completed ones. Like she said, the one she posted was the most complete one, but even that left out some dudes that I like. SO.
I made one. :D
And here's my list as of right now!
Tumblr media
❤️ These are the dudes that I adore with my entire being. I enjoyed their routes and I also always want to read their stories. I admittedly simp for them super hard lol I put Nobunaga first because he def is still my top fave~ Keith is up there because I'm lowkey simping even if I don't really know him yet. (that voice tho)
🧡 This next category is for the dudes who I really, really adore. They're not the best of the best for me, but I still love em!
🧡 the "baby" category refers to the boys who are so super cute to me. Can either find them attractive or see them as just guys who need protected
💛 this is the tier for guys who are just ok. I find them attractive but can either take or leave them.
💚 this tier is for guys that I see more as a pal or bro. Don't see them in a romantic way
💚 I don't hate these guys. They're just whatever.
💙 don't really like these guys
💙 I don't know these guys / haven't played their games
💜 don't know these guys / haven't played their games but they look good ~
And that’s that! :D

Suma Haruto 2018 Birthday Card Story
Tumblr media
I do not own any of the Ikemen Series content being uploaded on this blog, everything belongs to CYBIRD. Please support them by downloading and playing their games.
read this before interacting with my posts
It was a blazing hot morning in summer on my day-off, so hot that I was getting really sweaty…
Haruto came into the living room, yawning.
MC: Good morning, Haruto. You look like you’re still sleepy.
I was relaxing in the living room and pointed that out as Haruto approached me…
MC: Ack.
Haruto reached his finger out and poked my cheek while I sat on the sofa.
Haruto: You’re one to talk.
Haruto chuckled and headed to the kitchen.
Koki, Eisuke, and Ritsu, who were also in the living room, turned to look at me.
Koki: It sure is hot.
Eisuke: I don’t think summer is the only reason.
Ritsu: …
MC: Tch… don’t make fun of me.
Not long after we started dating, everyone found out about our relationship.
(Although everyone teases me about it a lot, they’re all very supportive.)
Eisuke suddenly remembered something and said,
Eisuke: Now that I think of it, Haruto’s birthday is round the corner. Will you be getting him a birthday present?
MC: Yup. I will.
Like Eisuke mentioned, Haruto’s birthday is on the 5th of August.
And of course, I was intending to get him a present…
MC: Do the members of HOUNDS usually exchange gifts with one another?
(I need to make sure that I don’t get him something someone else already did.)
(And I also need some advice on what to get him.)
Eisuke leaned forward slightly and muttered.
Eisuke: Hmm. During our schooling days, I got him a guitar pick. But I haven't been buying him presents recently.
Ritsu: There's a feast every year.
Koki: Ah, that's right. I whip up something special every year.
MC: I see.
(If it's Haruto we’re talking about, nothing pleases him more than food and music.)
I muttered in a low voice and thought about it.
Eisuke: MC.
Eisuke rested his chin on his hand and continued.
Eisuke: How about giving yourself to him as a present?
Eisuke’s bizzare suggestion made my cheeks turn red like tomatoes.
MC: That’s so cheesy…
Eisuke: Haruto’s into that stuff. Right, Ritsu?
Ritsu: Don't drag me into this.
Koki: Well, there's still a few days before his birthday. Take your time to decide.
I eventually decided to visit the musical instrument store to look at my options.
MC: Ah. These strings… they sound good. Haruto mentioned before that he wanted this.
I remembered the brand Haruto uses, and picked up a bag of guitar strings.
(I’m sure he’ll love this.)
(And it’s all I can give him.)
I gripped the strings tightly.
On the 5th of August, the night of Haruto's birthday, there were lots of delicious food prepared at the Sakuragi.
After the feast and celebrations ended…
MC: Happy birthday, Haruto.
Even though I had already wished him a happy birthday together with everyone else just now, I felt that it wasn’t enough, so I came to his room by myself.
MC: And uh… this is for you.
Haruto: Thanks.
Haruto received my present and sat down on the bed.
Haruto: Heh.
My heart beat faster when Haruto happily looked inside the bag.
(I’ve been preparing for this, I need to say something.)
While I was struggling to put my thoughts into words, Haruto looked up at me and asked,
Haruto: Did you get me anything else?
MC: Uh…
Haruto laughed as if he had already figured out what I was going to say.
Haruto: Hey, do you know what else I want as a birthday present?
Haruto reached out his hand and pulled me by the arm, and I fell onto his lap.
MC: Haruto!?
I exclaimed as I turned my face to see him burst out laughing.
Haruto: HAHA
Haruto: I love seeing that panicked look on your face.
Haruto’s grin made my heart go wild, I was at a loss for words.
Haruto: So? Do you know what I want now?
MC: Erm.
(Eisuke said that Haruto’s into cheesy things.)
I mustered all my courage and answered,
MC: … M-Me?
Haruto: … Huh?
MC: …!?
(Wrong answer! This is embarrassing.)
The blood instantly drained from my face and I tried to wiggle myself off Haruto’s lap.
MC: I- I was just joking… sorry.
My voice sounded like I was going to cry, but Haruto’s shoulders started shaking as he failed to contain his laughter.
Haruto: That was obviously a lie.
He took my hand and our fingers interlaced.
My eyes widened when he pulled me closer and kissed me gently.
Haruto: Those strings were great, but this is what I want now.
Haruto: You’ll give it to me, right?
I gasped when Haruto said that.
(As long as he’s happy.)
My cheeks, body, and even my breathing were getting hot.
MC: … Yes.
I answered his question and nodded, then Haruto narrowed his eyes cheekily.
Haruto: I wonder which part of you shall I eat first?
MC: … Idiot.
We had a sweet and passionate night on Haruto’s birthday.

I'm kind of baffled that Cybird hasn't tapped Miyano Mamoru as a VA for them? Is it because he's too busy? Or has he already been and I just didn't know?

According to modernisation and ageing theory, older people will experience a decline in support from their families as society modernises. This is due to changes in normative values: industrialisation and urbanisation cause the traditional extended family to be replaced by the nuclear family and so orientation towards the conjugal family strengthens while willingness to provide old-age support weakens (Aboderin, 2004). The reasoning, supposedly having its origins in Euro-American social reality, has been challenged for its failure to reflect historical or contemporary western experience (O’Rand, 1990) and for its assumption that societal development follows a uniform path. Nevertheless, the modernisation framework has dominated the study of ageing in China (Ikels, 2006).

I know some people are going to argue about me putting ikegen in every where but listen....do you think Cybird would take a bold move and produce something different in the future?
Let be honest here. No hate no bias. Ikesen, Ikerev and Ikevamp all have similar base story but in different setting.
Ikesen: Sengoku setting
Ikerev: Alternate magical London
Ikevamp: 19th Century Paris....or is it 18th?
And all the three titles have two things in common: 1. A MC who is from a different timeline/universe and, 2. Time limit. When I played these three games, I didn't care much about these two things because I was still relatively new to the Ikemen series. But later I got tired of the Time limit bullshit condition because it just feels forced and I don't think two people will fall deeply in love in just one month. (hey at least ikesen had 3 months). Some players had their problems with this setting but overall everyone enjoyed it because this is what cybird was mainly known for? Cybird trope.
The next two titles, Ikelive and Ikegen, brought changes. MC is from the same time line as the male characters and there is no time limit. This brings a breath of fresh air as the MCs can take their sweet time to understand and be friends with everyone and also she doesn't have to worry about whether she could stay with the male lead or not (because there are no bad endings). So the main focus of the story can be something else. But unfortunately Ikelive ended before it could even celebrate its 1st year Anniversary and Ikegen....well...at least it was on life support for 4 years, right? IDK much about Ikelive, but people loved Ikegen because it was something different from the regular Cybird games.
Next are, Ikepri and Ikevil, probably the most successful games after Ikesen. I feel like Ikesen, brought them success and Ikepri and Ikevil are the current most successful games. Ikepri...let just accept it, it really benefited because of covid and it was a fresh game at that time so everyone was excited including me. Ikevil well, again it's still relatively new. Both these games have MCs from the same timeline but they did kept the annoying 'time limit' aspect. When I saw that, I was like 'why?' because I thought Cybird is making changes. You know, bringing something new and fresh and bold. I really hoped that both the games contained the ridiculous, brain-dead and nonsensical humor of Ikegen for fun but no. Both games are good on their own and players are enjoying it. Good!
But, after seeing what happened to Ikerev, Ikelive and Ikegen, do you think Cybird would try and do something bold like Ikegen in the future thinking that it won't be successful? Or do you think they'll slowly go back to being the old cybird, where their next game will have MC from a different time line and there will be time-limits in their story lines?
Also Ikevamp fans....giving you guys a heads up, because it seems like you're going to be the next target...

What Do We Know About
✨ Ikemen Villains ✨
Character Design
Cybird works with other artists to create the character designs!
You can visit Remon-sensei Twitter and Instagram!!
Main Theme Song
Written and composed by Maiko Fujita, who is in charge of many songs in Ikemen Series
Official Page and Twitter
Our MC
Tumblr media
Similar to our previous MCs, but with a different hair color. Expecting this MC's personality to be more interesting 😁
Previously we had mcs roles with 'designer', 'baker', 'bookstore keeper' and now for Ikevil MC, i think her roles seems to be 'writer'. She's a postal worker and then accidentally find out the boys secret
Timeline
19th Century England
The Main Issue
The suitors have their own curse, where they will inevitably follow the same fate of the story. Since you already know their secret, you become a Fairy Tale who record their curse and you'll be forced to live with them
I think i can imagine this, you'll not asked (kindly) to stay with them like Ikevamp MC, but they will threaten you to stay with them 😃 You try to complete your task while saving your life, but because of your closeness with one of the suitors, you fall in love and.... the rest you can guess already 😂
Don't forget the Queen. Whether she's good or bad, she might be able to intervene the story
Game System
When I saw it, it looks like Ikepri with Ikevamp atmosphere. There's also the commu function, just like in Ikepri
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
See?
Released Date
No news yet, but pre-registration has been opened. My guess is, if William is the first suitor, then the game will be released before his birthday. Maybe March or April
My opinion
Since the theme is the villains, maybe we should be prepared for dark, angst, tragedy and unpleasant things which is more than Ikepri or Ikevamp story 👍
At first I thought the theme of Ikevil's story would be witches in the 19th century lol. Since villains/angst/dark stories become popular, Cybird dared to take this idea. Even though actually I'm still quite sad about Ikerev and Ikelive, especially Ikelive which i never played at all
Ikemen Genjiden Eng when? 😂
For sure, the idea of this 'Fairy Tale Curse' is very interesting. Didn't expect them to take ideas from the Magic Mirror or Thorns 👏 Can't wait for the game 😁
Please look forward and support the game!

IkeLive 2nd Anniversary Story — Chapter 04
[Kyoichiro]
Tumblr media
I do not own any of the Ikemen Series content being uploaded on this blog, everything belongs to CYBIRD. Please support them by downloading and playing their games.
read this before interacting with my posts
Kyoichiro: Can you… come over here for a second.
In the morning, I was in the living room, and Kyoichiro called out to me while holding Evan and Otto in each arm.
Kyoichiro: Come closer.
MC: ? Oh. Um…
I moved closer, and Kyoichiro bent down to look into my face. Then he placed his forehead against mine. Evan and Otto were still in his arms, snuggling up to him with their eyes closed.
My eyes were wide open.
Kyoichiro: Doesn’t seem like you have a fever.
Even after moving his forehead away, Kyoichiro was still staring at my face. He was doing a medical examination.
Kyoichiro: Your face and eyes are red, so I got worried.
MC: Ah… it must be due to my lack of sleep.
Kyoichiro: I see. In that case…
— That’s how I ended up in Kyoichiro’s office at Bushida Ophthalmology.
The piano school I worked at was closed although it was a weekday. However, Bushida Ophthalmology was as packed as ever.
Kyoichiro, who was nicknamed the ‘Doctor Bushi’, was so popular among the old ladies in the neighborhood that all of them came to see him.
Patient: Thank you, Doctor Bushi.
Kyoichiro: Don’t mention it.
Although he’s a man of few words, Kyoichiro always kindly escorted the old ladies with poor eyesight to the waiting room.
The reason why his clinic was popular with people of all genders and ages, was most likely due to the way he carefully performs his medical examinations, and possesses a high level of knowledge and experience.
While thinking about how popular Kyoichiro was as I sat in the waiting room, I became the only one left. The clinic Kyoichiro’s in charge of was closing for the day.
Kyoichiro: You’re the last patient. Sorry to have kept you waiting.
After getting my eyes examined and being prescribed eye drops for my bloodshot eyes caused by lack of sleep, I waited for Kyoichiro outside the clinic. I turned my head to see him on his motorcycle.
MC: Over here, Kyoichiro.
Kyoichiro: Ah.
Not only did Kyoichiro escort me out to the waiting room, he also offered me a ride back to the Sakuragi since we were both headed for the same place.
Kyoichiro: Hold on tight.
I could feel Kyoichiro’s back vibrate as he spoke. Instead of nodding in response, I nudged his back with my helmet.
On our way home, Kyoichiro stopped by a park to buy hamburgers.
Kyoichiro: I’m a little hungry, sorry for making you accompany me.
MC: No, it's alright. I’m hungry too.
The two of us leaned against the park’s fence and ate our hamburgers.
MC: Yummy! How did you know about this hamburger place?
Kyoichiro: In the past, there was a live music club nearby, and I would always come here for a quick bite. But that place eventually got shut down by Rindou.
MC: I see…
Kyoichiro: I miss it. I thought that I would never have the chance to eat here again. But somehow, looking at you reminded me of it.
Kyoichiro: That live music club had many amazing bands performing there… I wish I could take you to see them.
Rindou — The Music Control Bureau forced countless live music clubs to close their doors forever.
It wasn't rare to hear news of such things happening, but it was inevitably saddening to watch the clubs vanish.
(At most, we won’t lose the memories we’ve made… and we have to relive them from time to time so they don't disappear.)
MC: Kyoichiro.
Kyoichiro: Hm?
MC: I… like it.
I looked up at Kyoichiro’s face.
MC: This hamburger. So let’s come back here more often, and I also want you to tell me all about the live music club.
Kyoichiro: …
(... What's wrong?)
Kyoichiro looked at me in surprise for a moment before looking away awkwardly.
Kyoichiro: Ah, right.
MC: ? Is something the matter? Your face is so… red.
As I wondered if Kyoichiro was running a fever, he covered his face with the back of his free hand.
Kyoichiro: Sorry. I misunderstood and thought you were saying that you liked me.
MC: Misunderstood… wait, WHAT!?
(No way. Did Kyoichiro think I was professing my love to him!?)
Kyoichiro’s confession made me blush.
MC: I mean… you’re not wrong… but… you know…
By the time we left the park, the sun was already setting.
When we entered the Sakuragi's garage on the motorcycle, we heard the sound of a car door slamming shut.
Eisuke: Welcome home.
Eisuke just happened to reach home by car at the same time we did.
Eisuke: Why are you with this man, little puppy? If you want to go on a date… why don't you go with me?

Hi! After seeing your post, I wanna ask did you get Morinaga's valentine's card story? I mean card comes with stories in ikegames right? If it does will you translate it?
They do! All four and five star, and the occasional three come with stories. It's one of my favorite things about Ikegen! (and Ikelive, pour one out for that game too)
I hadn't considered posting the story but if you'd like I certainly can, Nonny!

Reading all the stuff about workplaces messes with me because every single workplace prior to my current one was really bad, but in this one I can actually get accomodations. I can actually take leaves and sick time for my needs (we have 160 sick days per year that reset if you work 30 days in a row). I'm never really pressured to do more and if anything it seems like I'm encouraged to take care of myself first. I have a decent salary and benefits. I'm nonbinary and am out at work and it's known I need to take time for my neurodivergence/mental health. There's nothing logically telling me I'm about to get fucked over at any point and I am unionized. Things don't feel real because of my past experience of workplace abuse and general knowledge of workplaces. It feels like what I'm getting can't exist but I've managed to get it. My supervisor is incredibly sweet and understanding. I seem to run into neurodivergent traits all over the workplace. I'm obsessively scared that something is going on that I'm not privy to and that I'm not secure but that feels like trauma or my ocd talking more than reality. I feel like this kind of workplace hardly exists to the point that it's hard for me to believe it does. I'm not shown off or featured as a token as far as I know (unless it' done behind my back), nor am I made to educate others. I don't have rigid surveillance as far as I know. Is it possible that I'm actually in an example of one of the better case scenarios at a workplace?? I get worried that I've been too vulnerable (I keep it relatively to myself now) and that I'm being exploited beyond basic employer/employee relationship but I actually don't see any evidence for it. I don't know how much this actually exists out there but I sincerely wish that all workplaces had this setup or something similar as the bare minimum. I can retire from here and I have a pension and yeah basically I'm constantly having "too good to be true" panic 5 years later. I'm so relieved to be unionized as I feel like this isn't nearly possible without one (and even the person in HR said they'd never seen such a generous sick time/leave policy). Is there anything I should actually potentially be worried about??
You have a union!! That explains the big difference between your former employers and your current one pretty elegantly.
Just keep your eye on the union itself to make sure it's doing the work that it should be doing -- it sounds like it is, but some unions get taken over by pretty conservative leaning factions over time. The book Hard Sell by Peter Ikeler offers a pretty strong comparison and contrast between a strong union and a weak one, in the realm of retail work. I'd suggest checking it out!
Never trust your boss or your company, even if they're treating you well -- they are treating you well because those are the fruits of organized labor!! Just keep an eye on the organizers and if you can, be active in your union. Enjoy the positive attributes your workplace has, and contribute to maintaining them if you can -- you don't need to feel guilty or afraid, or to believe that what you are experiencing is too good to be true. The good you are experiencing has a clear-cut explanation -- collective bargaining -- which means you, as a member of the collective, can contribute to keeping things this way.
