Sollux deserves more than an ‘i d0nt care’, and Aradia knows it. 

That, or she just wants to keep him talking. She’s about to betray him once again, so maybe she needs an opening.

Let’s talk about this blood hierarchy for a bit.

Sollux, in his tiny apartment, is probably lower-middle class, and we already know blue-bloods are upper-class. Presumably bluer is better, but what do other colors mean?

The blood castes might just match how they’re arranged on Trollian, with the highest blood at the bottom of the list. Purple is a well-known symbol of royalty, so it would make sense for it to be up there with blue.

Anyway, the ChumpRoll theory would fit what we know about Aradia, Sollux, Terezi and CA - and possibly Tavros, although though his neighborhood seems a little nicer than Sollux’s. It doesn’t really fit GA, but she’s clearly exceptional, since she’s living in a Sburb tower. 

It would, however, raise questions about Gamzee. That would make him higher than a blueblood - but maybe that’s just not the kind of ‘high’ he cares about. Is all his money going into Faygo and ICP merch?

It also doesn’t explain AC. She’d be higher than Sollux, but she looks as low as Aradia. Sollux calls the caste system ‘confusing’, so maybe there’s more nuance to it than we’ve seen. Maybe if you misbehave, you lose the privileges of your caste.
