Very excited to post the work I collaborated with @azirafag on for the Mini Reverse Bang event by @do-it-with-style-events! I wrote the words inspired by Devin's lovely art piece, which is included in the fic.

Title: 1941, Remembered Rating: T Warnings: No Archive Warnings Apply Summary: Crowley tasted Aziraphale, and Aziraphale tasted Crowley, and their thoughts drifted to red wine and shades of gray, and suddenly both were reliving a night eighty-two years ago so suppressed it had nearly been forgotten.

In 1941, an angel and a demon share a bottle of wine and put on a record, but wine and music lead to dancing, and dancing just might blur the edges of their oh-so-careful arrangement more than they've ever been blurred before. In other words, something definitely happened in 1941.

the rain drenches both of you, icy and unrelenting, but the cold pales in comparison to the chill between you. mingyu stands there, soaked and trembling, his eyes pleading with you, but you don’t flinch. the exhaustion, the frustration—it all boils over, spilling out in waves you can’t control anymore.

"you don’t get it, do you, gyu?" you start, your voice sharp, cracking under the strain. "all these years—seven years—and you still don’t see it. everything i’ve done, everything i’ve given up, and for what? for you to chase something that’s tearing us apart? for me to feel like i’m always the one holding us together while you… you just get to dream?"

mingyu shakes his head, stepping closer, his voice shaking. "it’s not like that, i swear. i’m not just doing this for me! it’s for us—our future. don’t you see that, (your name)? if i give up now, i’ll regret it forever, and I don’t want that. i don’t want you to unlove me like that."

"unlove you?" you laugh bitterly, the sound hollow, cutting through the rain. "you think this is about unloving you? gyu, i’m falling apart. every day, i feel like i have nothing of myself to pick up and put back together anymore. do you know? what it feels like to come home after working and studying for hours, to be so drained you can’t even think straight, only to feel like you're fighting in this relationship alone? do you even know what it’s like to feel so unseen?"

he freezes, his face contorting in pain, but you don’t stop. you can’t stop. it’s been building for too long.

"you’re chasing a dream that might never happen, gyu. and i’m here, trying to build a life for us—a real one! i’ve been pouring everything into us, into this future we’re supposed to have—we dreamed about. but all i’ve got left is nothing. i’ve got nothing, gyu." your voice cracks, and the tears finally fall, mixing with the rain as you sob. "how many more sacrifices am i supposed to make for you? how much of myself do i have to lose before you finally understand?"

"i do understand!" mingyu shouts, his voice desperate, his hands clenching into fists. "but i’m trying so hard, too. please.. i can’t just let this go—it’s all i’ve ever wanted. please, just give me more time. i’ll make it work, i promise. i promise i'll make it."

"more time?" you repeat, your voice trembling. "seven years, gyu. i’ve given you seven years of my life. my life! and now you’re asking for more? what happens when another year passes? or two? or ten? what will be left of me by then?"

his breath catches, and for a moment, he looks like he might fall apart. "don’t say that," he whispers, stepping closer. "please don’t say that. i love you. i love you more than anything, (your name). and i’ll do whatever it takes to make you stay. just don’t go. don’t leave me."

you stare at him, the rain pounding against your skin, and your heart feels like it’s being ripped apart. you love him—of course you do—but love isn’t enough anymore. it hasn’t been enough for the longest time. a long time ago you had ripped your heart out to put it in his hands and hoped that you both would fight for it. and it's funny because all you can think about in this very moment is when will you both stop trying.

"what will happen to us then, gyu?" you ask, your voice shaking with the weight of everything you’re feeling. "how many years of my life will be wasted if i stay? how many more nights will i cry myself to sleep, wondering if i’m ever going to be enough for you to choose me over your passion?"

he tries to respond, but the words fail him. all he can do is look at you, his eyes glossy, his chest heaving with unspoken loss. and in that silence, you realise it—the answer you’ve been seeing and living with.

"you already chose," you whisper, stepping back one final time. "you’ve been choosing, every single day. and now… now i have to choose, too."

mingyu's hand reaches out for you, but you turn away, your footsteps heavy, your heart shattering with each step you take. behind you, his voice breaks as he calls your name, begging, pleading, but you don’t stop.

because this time, you’re choosing yourself. and even though it feels like it’s killing you, you know you can’t keep drowning for someone who won’t reach for the surface with you.

Harryween ...Night-In!

Type - A One-Shot!

A/n - I miss Harry, and I'm too sad that we aren't celebrating Harryween this year. So of course, I wrote about it.

Consider this one a closure for 'kinktober' (just bc it's the last fic of Oct <3)

They were sitting on the small-cozy sofa, a blanket draped over their legs as they sat in utter silence, the light from the TV screen illuminating the whole room.

It was a small area, the TV sat on the drawer-set that had mainly thrifted crockery inside. A coffee table was placed in front of her sofa, over which for now Harry had laid his legs in order to make himself comfortable.

A nineties horror film played on the screen in low volume, the room not yet warm due to their recent reign. Anne was in the kitchen, putting sweets into different bowls before the kids came to her door for trick-or-treating.

Everyone on the street loved her, especially the kids. She was like a grandparent to all of them, having read them stories when they'd come up to her house, and built different Lego peices with them while some tea brewed in the kitchen for all of them.

And now that she was on the brim of becoming an actual grandparent to her son and daughter-in-law's child, there was a different kind of sparkle in her eyes, tint on her cheeks and a forever imprinted smile on her rosy lips.

She had welcomed the pair with open arms and an excited shriek when Harry asked her the permission to come over for a few days. Y/n wanted to be in the comfort of another woman, someone who'd had a kid – she wanted the comfort of a mother a woman gets when she's got a baby in her.

And, unfortunately enough, she'd had to cut ties with her mother years and years ago. So, to have a chance at a second mother, who was as much of a dearie as Anne, she knew that she just needed to be embraced by her just once and it'd be enough.

Y/n's bump had grown so huge that the nurses at the hospital told her that there might be a chance she's carrying more than one baby. So, when her bump was abnormally huge in the first month of the trimester, she wasn't very tense bacause she just wanted the babies to be comfortable inside.

When she talked to her doctor about the possibility, she was told that during their first ultrasound only one baby was seen. But it could be that the second one hadn't developed enough to be caught.

Other than her, it was only Anne who knew of that. Harry knew about the whole scene, but he was yet to confirmed about it. Out of the many things that Y/n feared, one of them was that she and Harry would be disappointed if it came out that there's only one baby.

They lived with the uncertainty of the number of babies, a little scared. But, Harry reassured her every morning that no matter how many babies she was carrying, he'd love her and the baby – or the twins, all the same.

"H? Can you bring me some more popcorn, please?" Y/n requested, already putting the bowl in front of him that only had a few curnels left of the snack. And, when Harry did up and go to the kitchen, she wasn't sure what she had started missing – the endless number of popcorns going in her mouth one after another, or the constant pressing of Harry's soft thumbs against the swollen plush of her feet.

"You're lucky you're pregnant," Harry came in saying, handing her the bowl with a faux glare that he had fixed on her face.

A sheepish smile pulled up on her lips before she quickly passed him a flying kiss without the action of her hand, causing Harry to let out a laugh. He sat down and placed her feet back in his lap, his hands getting back to work as his eyes caught up with the scene currently playing on the TV.

The kid had just sneaked inside their parents' room and slipped between the two with their plushie in hand. "Do you think I'll be a good father?" Harry asked, almost seeming absent-minded but she knew better.

"Gonna be the best one out there," she assured him, passing him the bowl of popcorn to share. In return, he passed her a smile – a quiet form of his gratitude for her, and moved his hands up to massage her calves a bit as well.

As Harry's eyes remained on the screen, Y/n's head had lulled back onto the soft cushion and eyes had shut down. She had only doen it because the TV was beginning to strain her eyes, but realised just after how good it felt to do that as she snuggled-up farther inside the quilt.

Harry looked over at her just in time before the bowl of her cravings fell on the floor. She hated popcorn before pregnancy, and now she found any and every excuse to have them. His mouth stretched in a soft smile, dimples carving in his cheeks as he looked at her.

Both of her hands were on her bump, head lulled back slightly to the side, away from the screen and mouth carelessly left open. The light from the TV screen hit her face in a manner that made her features look more prominent – her cupid's bow shined profusely because of the balm she had put rubbed on her lips before cuddling up in the couch. Her lashes rested on top of the high of her cheeks, her skin gleaming in the light.

He could tell that here she was less anxious and stressed, and more at comfort than ever. He loved to see her bond furthermore with his mum, watching her listen to Anne tell her about the course of becoming a mother made Harry feel too emotional.

She always seemed to be glowing, and her cheeks were fuller now. She mostly left her hair loosely tied, and god, her hips had grown wider too – it made him lose his mind everytime he saw her love handles. Her thicker-thighs closed around his head just perfectly, and her stretch marks reminded him of the way her body was changing every single day to adapt to caressing a baby.

"Darling –"

Anne cut herself off before she could wake Y/n up, bunching her shoulders up before she sighed deeply, glad that she didn't disturb her.

Harry chuckled, letting Anne know that his wife had turned into a heavy sleeper now that she was pregnant. "You were saying something, mum?" He asked her, watching as she walked closer to him.

"I came to say that the kids should start come knocking any time now," Anne told Harry. "This darling wanted to hand a few out herself. Do I wake her?"

Harry nodded in response as he got up and started patting Y/n's hand. "Love, do you want to hand out treats?"

Y/n remembered then, and started moving to get up. She had no idea as to when she fell asleep, but as Harry helped her get up she grunted in discomfort.

"Are they here?' She asked after pecking Harry's cheek in gratitude.

Just when she asked that, the doorbell rung for the first time and she had never wished to get up fast so hard over the course of the past few months of pregnancy. Harry's hand automatically placed itself on her lower back as she started walking slowly and slowly.

"H, I can walk to the front door just fine. I'm pregnant, not paralysed," she stated, suddenly feeling annoyed.

"Okay, okay. But you do need some time to adjust to walking before you start padding your way around," Harry giggled, kissing her temple from beside her. But the moment he saw that she didn't exactly have a pleased expression on her face, he put up a finger on his lips, almost promising her that he wouldn't utter a word again.

Anne already had the door open, and the moment Y/n's eyes landed on the little one on their door, she couldn't help but squeal. "Eeek! Dorothy!" She exclaimed, turning to look at Harry with starry eyes crinkled at the corners.

She was their neighbour's kid, y/n realized. And, as she got closer she saw that in the basket, there was a paper that was flipped upside down, considering she could see the ink that had leaked on the back side of the page – probably due to the pen being pressed too hard.

"Hi!" Y/n greeted the little one, two bowls full of treats in both of her hands. She tried to bend down to talk better, but because she was unable to, she just sat on her knees on the tiles.

"I love Dorothy," she giggled, and the girl in front of her grinned as well.

"I love her too! My name's Dorothy as well, so I decided to dress like her," the sweet girl bubbled. She was bouncing on her feet, full of excitement. "Happy Halloween, by the way," she wished them all.

As they wished her back, she began picking out the treats she wanted. Once she was done, her head whipped to meet Harry's gaze who was just standing behind Y/n with gleaming eyes and a wide dimpled-smile.

"Hey, Harry," she greeted him. "You dressed up as Dorothy once, and now I have too!" She shrieked, jumping to high-five Harry who now had an open-mouthed grin on his face.

"We have great taste, now, don't we?" Harry wiggled his eyebrows at the girl whose eyes suddenly went as wide as saucers.

"Oh no!" She cried before she took her basket and placed it on the ground.

"What – is something wrong?" Y/n stuttered, her face molding into a frown.

"Oh nothing," the girl said nonchalantly, getting back up from where she was crouching to take something out of her basket. "Here," she grinned, handing a post-card sized paper to Y/n.

Harry leaned over to see what it was, and once he did, a surprised laugh left his throat. Y/n was already gushing over how good the painting was and just leaned in to press a kiss to the girl's cheeks, who accepted it with a bright blush.

It was drawing of a pumpkin, over which she had marked the carving that said 'HAPPY HARRYWEEN' on it. "I know you did this on your shows for Halloween, so I thought it would be kind of me to give you this because I know your tour is over now," the girl pouted at Harry as she babbled off.

Harry looked at the her with glossy eyes, leaning in to hug the little girl. "Thank you, love," he whispered.

He had been so emotional about Halloween this time, that Y/n had to comfort him every single day for the past week leading up to today. Even this morning, he had to stop his tears from falling as the feeling of not being on stage all dressed up crippled him.

He loved that he was spending the day with his mum, his wife and his unborn baby. But he still felt the need to be comforted because it still hadn't settled in him that he wasn't going to be onstage for a while now. So, he wrapped his forearms around Y/n's shoulders in order to calm himself down, and keep himself in the moment because he knew that he wouldn't want to leave her side any time soon now.

"Wait!" Y/n shouted at a sudden thought that had struck her mind, scaring Harry out of his small meltdown. "It's Harryween – Night …In!" She squealed in delightment, giggling along with the girl as Harry sniffled and laughed at her lame humour, feeling love sick.

the leaving someone at the airport trope is so so crazy to me because what do you mean we know we love each other so, so dearly that it actually feels like how a thread would when it's stretched too far apart. what do you mean we have to say goodbye because we both know it's better for you to leave. we know you'll get better opportunities there, we know your reason to leave is totally valid and this is not a fucking movie with the trope that “oh love <3 love is all i need i'll leave everything to be with you <3” and even if that is, in fact, what they feel they should do you won't let them because you want what's best for them, even if it completely destroys you - one painfully beautiful memory at a time.

and oh my god the actual moment when they have to leave. you're there at the airport, they say goodbye to all their friends, family, whoever there is with them but you just can't bring yourself to say it. obviously it goes unspoken that you both want the other to wait for you but how could either of you say that? how could either of you ask the one you love to suffer, to be in pain, to be without that one constant in their life and not seek other companionship? so in the end you just end up not saying anything. there's too many people, there's not enough words, you can't express all the feelings you have unless they physically become one with your skin and even then you doubt it'll be enough, how could it ever be enough? but of course you can't let this show for fear that the other who seems to be oh so calm and cool about this would start to question their decision. 

the worst feeling though, is when the doubts start to creep in. what if.. the reason they seem so unaffected is because you simply just don't mean that much to them? you know it's logical to leave, hell you more or less forced them to make that decision but it stings so, so much to think that they may have, subconsciously or not wanted to get.. away from you?

so you go about everything just as usual even if for no other reason than to satisfy that little spirit of spite and yeah you hear about them every now and then; it's not like everyone around you has a lingering grudge (or a crush? to be fair, in a way they are both rather fitting, aren't they?) against them, you can't help but wonder if they hear about you, think about you as well? if they feel all the feelings that torment you every second of every day till you're not even sure what exactly it is that you're feeling anymore and if all of what you're feeling is still for them or is it somehow, for some reason targeted towards yourself? for falling for them in the first place

Hello hello and I can't tell you how excited I am for this one. Finally I have had the chance to collaborate with @autisticandroids — and with some Megstiel, no less! On a story for the SPN Angels & Demons Reverse Bang: "not him/not her/not me."

The painting below was actually the first piece I did for the @spnangelsanddemons-rb. I really wanted to get some Megstiel out of this bang, and while deep in my pre-Raphaelite fixation I discovered Sidney Meteyard's Hope Comforting Love in Bondage, and, well...even the title of the art piece seemed perfect to me.

Those wings took me FOREVER, I'll have you know. I wanted Meg's dress to look like blood/demon smoke...and I feel like it ended up with a bit of a Francis Bacon feel as well? Anyway, it was a really fun (if at times tedious) piece to work on but I love how it came out in the end.

The Meg piece was actually something I'd started a long time ago, ended up shelving for over a year, but in thinking about how the story was going I reworked it and finished it to go with the Empty/demon smoke vibes:

I also did this piece as a close-up of Cas's eyes...originally I wasn't quite sure what project it would be for, but in the end @autisticandroids jumped on it to go with this story and who am I to object?

BENGALS (!!!): what it sounds like. they're my pookies <3. the team i hyperventilate over and has already shaved a few years off my life. ja'marr chase, my fav, an icon. won the fucking triple crown, opoy idc idc! joe! my mf qb and i'll defend him with my life. teeeeeee! god it's gonna kill me if the fo manages to fumble him. and trey! the lone bright spot in our defense, ahh, he tried his best! chase brown! heal fast and hopefully we grab another rb to split the workload. yoshi! great year for him, hopefully he keeps on improving! mims <3 <3 <3 and orlando! bright spots for the o-line! i think karras also had a really good year (just need to work on our guards...) jordan battle... i'm really sorry, but i cannot forgot that dropped defensive td. it's funny in hindsight, but i think my watch sent me a few warnings over my heartbeat at that time. i really hope cam bounce back next year! he was on an upward trend at the final five-game win streak! there's more that i'm forgetting, but i should probably stop here lol.

Commanders: jayden, jayden, jayden! oh, rookie of the fucking century. he will come back next year, i believe deep in my heart! and the moment that terry realized they won the bucs game, ahhhh, that was sooo sweet. finally experienced some postseason success after Decades of Torture. also i'll never be able to think of frankie luvu without That Moment. Bills: 0-4 in sbs and 0-4 against the chiefs, ah, the Curse narrative pulls me in. also my brother's a bills fan. josh deserves a SB idc idc. love james cook (even if i think he should cut his hair, i've seen so many defenders try to take him down by pulling on it). kincaid, it was not on you and you! will! bounce! back! i also root heavily for keon coleman! yet another louisiana boy! and i will forever root for damar!

Packers: dad's a fan and rants about christian watson's drops. i made a birthday card with a packers helmet one year 🙂. i'm also a fan of Weight of the Franchise narratives, and honestly it has to be hard for Jordan Love, with the legacy of Brett Favre and Aaron Rodgers (both of whom I Hate for different reasons but were. objectively. good at football). and Josh Jacobs 😤. very unpopular opinion probably and i'm probably evil for this but jaire griddying in front of justin... sparked some thoughts in me ngl... Niners: mom's a fan and I like fred. also i feel soooo bad for them this year. like it wasn't just injuries and whatever tf that campbell thing was, but some players lost CHILDREN. a player got fucking shot. a year from hell fr. Falcons: in fifth grade we had to choose a football team for -actually i forgot why. learning more about different states i think, being like. 10. i wanted the dolphins, got the falcons instead. i remember watching the falcons-patriots superbowl and when the falcons choked, well 🙃. i have a weird relationship with the falcons bc of that. i do think their socmed team is funny as hell. also jessie! keep on balling! Patriots: the Venn diagram of celtics and patriots fan is practically a circle so I see a lot of grousing of the state of the patriots o-line. do i think drake maye is the Savior? no, the patriots are kinda shit. but for their sake, i pray he won't be the next mac jones. i'll admit that i'm impressed by christian gonzalez. also sometimes it's fun to cheer for a team that has no real expectations.

Saints: their cap situation is hell, omfg (my worst trait is that i take a sadistic pleasure in teams doing worse than my team). not on the team anymore, but lattimore-evans 😮‍💨 (hate sex. i'm thinking of hate sex). i thought the 'no murder in nola' for the two weeks the saints were winning, was very funny. Jets: that garrett wilson catch was insanity. the davante-rodgers storyline Intrigues me in so many ways. going to a loser franchise just to reunite with your ex qb... other than that and being amused by their inability to make the playoffs, i don't really have strong feelings on them. oh sauce, i suppose. he's funny! had a bit of a down year, hopefully he bounces back! Raiders: just looked up and remembered the black friday debacle ughhhh. we'll see if tom brady can save this franchise. afc west needs to become more competitive! i almosttt forgot about brock bowers but holy fuck, what a rookie season from him Bucs: again lattimore-evans... just 😮‍💨. also good on mike for getting his 1000 yds again! Titans: brian callahan good luck selecting a qb from this bunch. i also do root for tyler and chido! Saquon SB MVP is veryyy compelling to me. smtg about saying🖕to your shitty organization and then showing them how they fumbled you by winning a damn SB... idk what Jalen Hurts ever did to deserve the amount of hate i've seen. like yeah, he's not that good, but he's not that bad. i thought it was very funny that AJ was reading in the middle of a game and I saw a clip about his suicidal thoughts that fucked me over. I was crying. I find it hilarious how cooper dejean is one of the only white cornerbacks like. ever. Like the Rams d-line, i am very jealous of their o-line. Oh as soon as I read "Tender is the Night" as one of the titles you love it was like an epiphany. It really is a great title and poetic without looking like a quote . And I hadn't realized about Austen's alliterative titles until now, maybe because I don't give much thought to titles, but now I do. I love the formulas your pointed out, and your arguments in favor of the short titles and the words you used to describe a good title. Someone in the rb tags said they will evaluate titles forever now after your post and I'll do it too.

I'm glad you liked my little rant hehe 😬 and that it made you start evaluating titles! 💕 And yes, I think "poetic" doesn't have to be a whole poem in the title lol that's what those long ones with showy adjectives feel like. Poetic can be a feature of poetry like alliteration or assonance.

Are you a ferrari fan for the team, driver(s) and/or something else?

I'm a checo and honda fan so choosing a team was easy when I first got into f1. However, with rb and honda's contract ending and the initial uncertainty of checo's contract renewal, I've been questioning my loyalty to the team.

So I'm a full tifosi😅 like this team could have the worst car/ worst drivers/ worst stratrgies/ do things i hate, and I still wouldn't be able to let them go (wow this is starting to sound like a toxic relationship😭)

However, I absolutely LOVE carlos. I don't even know when it started, but I realised that while I was cheering on ferrari during races, I also felt like an insane amount of joy every time I saw carlos overtake others in that mclaren of his. And then he came to ferrari... and yh, I'd never been happier :]

Now that carlos' contract is ending, I think it'll just go back to the way it was before. Where I'll still be happy for him and cheer for him, but my main focus will remain on ferrari (can't believe I'll get to see LEWIS HAMILTON in RED!!!)

My brother, tho... this man's having a full-on existential crisis at this point💀 he's a merc fan, but he's literally IN LOVE with lewis hamilton and doesn't really care about the team. Yet for some reason, he's refusing to let the team go as of next year bc he's 'been supporting them since he started watching the sport' and 'it's the PRINCIPLE of things OKAY?!'😭 I'm just feeding him all of mercedes' recent comments and implications abt lewis so he can finally realise how shit the team is treating his man and BE FREE OF THEM.

Anyway, nonnie, I hope we're both wearing the same team colours next year🤭 <3

Edit: My 2 FAVOURITE drivers are carlos and max (If ferrari ain't winning, then I'll only accept him on that top step) and during the whole 'carlos-maybe-to-rbr' era I literally had to sit down and wonder whether it was time to move teams😭.
