Okay okay, so before this starts, a lot of people have mentioned me posting this on ao3, and my question is if you guys mean it as it is, or if I should make two or three new parts to make up for the first part.

Because in the first part, we miss a lot of possible moments between Steve and Eddie since it skips to the basic idea.

This whole thing was meant to be a messy and quick way to get my ideas out, but then people ended up actually liking it, and well, I just want you guys to like the outcome.

Basically, I wanna know if I should;

A.Post it on ao3 as is

B. Post it on ao3 with two to maybe four parts instead of the original post, and have me do part six after I make those. (I'm a decently quick writer when I'm motivated, all these parts so far have been within a day or two)

C. Make the parts instead of the original post, and have this be a big one-shot on ao3(meaning it wouldn't be posted on there until this is finished)

I am really leaning towards B, just cause I wanna do those interactions (one of which would be Eddie coming out to Steve), but I wanna see what you guys think first.

This whole thing is kinda a wreck cause I don't usually post fics on Tumblr but hopefully it will get better with time.

After Dustin explains the upside down, and Eddie talks about what really happened, they come to a sort of agreement.

Eddie was to stay at the boathouse, and someone would occasionally come over with a supply of drinks and food.

Steve, of course, despised this, because Eddie is his best friend-(And who was he kidding? Goddamn crush, too)-dammit, but he let the plan go on anyway.

Before they left, Steve turned to Eddie, brows pinched together.

“Stay safe, alright? If you get hurt because you do something stupid, I’ll beat the shit out of you.”

Eddie laughed, loud and full, “Kinda counterproductive, aye sweetheart?”

He stopped when Steve didn’t laugh or make a joke back. “I’ll be fine, and I’ll walkie if things go to shit.”

“Good.” Steve gave him a little peck on the corner of his lips, “Don’t die, man. Can’t take care of these little shits by myself.”

He turned to face Max, and a gaping Dustin and Robin.

“Lets go, nerds”

Steve stared at the ground, unblinking.

One of his kids were gonna die.

Eddie had had apparently left the boathouse

Eddie was being hunted.

Two more students have been murdered.

He licked his lips, and his eyes flicked up to watch Powell talk about the town hall meeting.

They were royally fucked.

“Dustin, can you hear me? Wheeler? Stevie?”

Steve’s eyes widened and he turned around in time to see Dustin snatch the walkie.

“Eddie, holy shit. Are you okay?”

The walkie took a second to crackle back to life.

“Nah man, pretty uh, pretty goddamn far from okay.”

“Where is he?”Nancy asked, already halfway back into the car.

“Where are you?”

“Skull Rock, Steve knows it.”

Steve smiled, grabbing the walkie and clicking down on the button, “Hold on tight, Ed-stefer, we’re on our way.” He tossed it back to Dustin before turning to Nancy.

“I’m driving.”

She scrunched her nose, but didn’t question it and swapped to the passenger's side.

“Dude, I’m telling you, you’re leading us the wrong way.”

“It’s North, I’m positive! I checked the map.”

Steve sighed and pinched his nose, “This is literally Eddie and I’s spot, we come here all the time.”

“That doesn’t have to do with it being a make-out spot, does it?” Lucas asked hesitantly from his spot in the back.

“Jesus, no Sinclair, this does not have to do with- Eddie and I are just friends.”

Robin scoffed, “Didn’t you kiss him earlier?” She asked.

“As friends. He doesn’t like me like that.”

“Right, but you like him like that, though?”

“Oh wow, suddenly we’re here, y’know, at the place you said we weren’t gonna end up at?” Steve yelped, gesturing broadly at the rocks around him.

Lucas has to physically bite his lip to keep from mentioning that he had absolutely picked that up from Eddie, or that Eddie had picked it up from him.

“See? You little butthead, I was right.”

Theres a rustle of leaves and then,

“I concur, you, Dustin Henderson, are a total butthead.”

Steve turned to face the man and almost collapsed in relief, hes not hurt.

“Jesus Eddie, we thought you were a goner.” Dustin sighed, as he made his way past Steve to hug Eddie.

“Yeah, me too man. Me too.”

The hug goes on for maybe ten seconds before Eddie’s pulling back and bringing Steve into a side one, you know, like some kind of dad. “I tried calling you guys, but uh…”

His face turned sheepish and he stepped back a bit to grab some water from a canister. “My walkie was busted, man.”

“Drenched.” He adds in after a second, laughing a bit.

He took another sip from the bottle before wiping and extra drops away from his mouth. “So, uh, I did the thing that I do now apparently. I ran.” He let out another laugh, this one was a little bit more self-deprecating.

“Do you know what time this was? The attack.”

Eddie perked up, and grabbed at his wrist, “ Yeah, no, I um, know exactly what time it was.”

He held up a watch, the dials on it weren’t moving. “My walkie wasn’t the only thing that got soaked.”

“9:27…”

“Same times our flashlights went kablooey.” Robin says, and her eyes light up like she connected the dots.

Steve hadn’t, “Which means what exactly?”

“That that surge of energy was Vecna attacking Patrick.”

Steve half-zoned out, silently going through the events in his head, while maintaining conversation.

“Skull Rock was North.”

“An electromagnetic field.”

“What say you, Eddie the Banished?”

Steve tuned back in, a hundred percent now. He turned to look at Eddie, who was still crouching, and damn how did his back not hurt?

“I say you’re asking me to follow you into Mordor,” Steve perked up, he kind of knew this one, “-which, if I’m totally straight with you, I think it’s a really bad idea.”

And Steve nodded along, because yeah, this was a terrible idea.

“But uh, the Shire, the Shire is burning, so Mordor it is.”

He whistled at Eddie when everyone got up, and he was by Steve’s side in seconds.

“You’re not hurt or anything, are you? Cause you don’t look it but…”He trailed off, and Eddie grinned.

“I am all-good Steve-O.” Steve nodded, “Good, good.”

Suddenly, there was a sharp gasp from right next to him, “Were you, perhaps, worried?!” Steve kicked a rock instead of answering.

It just made Eddie’s grin widen further.

“You totally were! Stevie Harrington, The-Former-King-Of-Hawkins turned sweetheart, worrying over lil-ol-Eddie-The-Freak-Munson!”

Steve scoffed, “ First off, I’d like to think I’ve always been a sweetheart, second off, keep it in your pants, dude.”

Eddie cackled, leaning into his side, “Yeah, yeah! You’re right. You’ve kinda been like that for the past two years, Mr.Eddie-Cant-Carry-A-Fucking-Hot-Pan-Anymore.” He laughed, ignoring the second part of Steve’s statement.

He huffed, “Just don’t want you getting hurt.”

Eddie booped his nose, “Yeah yeah, you’re just you like that.”

Silly little double post cause I thought of this SECONDS after my original post bitching about the Hotel.

I have a theory on why people don't complain about the black characters designs of Hazbin Hotel. (I'll talk about it at the end)

Let's talk about the 4 black characters of Hazbin Hotel that people defend the designs with their LIFE.

First up:

ALASTOR

Alastor has been confirmed to be a mixed Creole man from Louisiana. Does he look like it? No. No he doesn't. If you told me this man has the whitest parents this side of hell then I would believe you. There I nothing visually that gives away he may have black features. Nose shape, lips, not ashy grey skin (something well see just you wait), thy couldn't even be dammned to give him curly hair or nothing! He doesn't have no black features and it's really off putting.

People argue that he has a white parent, a part that could play in him not having black features. I will remind you all again that I am not mixed. I am white. Mixed people can look any way. There is no specific way for mixed people to look. But cmon. No black features at all? Nothing? Personally I believe that Alastor want designed to be black. I believe that Vivziepop only made him black to justify him using voodoo. This is only speculation but to each their own.

Side note but the way yall attack people, mostly on Tiktok, about redesigns or re imagines is actually depressing. Could make a whole rant on that in general.

Next up:

VELVETTE

Thir is similar issues with Alastor and Velvette. No textured hair, no nose shape, no difference in her lips, ashy grey skin. While I like that Velvette changes hair styles every episode, personally I think that Velvette should have more black hairstyles. Like Velvette with braids or dreadlocks would be so cool. To this shows credit, Velvette did have a afro in episode 8. Honestly that should be her starter hair before she changes it. That would be so cute. Manifesting Velvette with a afro.

3rd:

Sera

Sera I would argue is the best designed black character. She actually has more pigmented brown skin and her hair I think is supposed to resemble dreadlocks. Personally I think their is room for improvement. She could be browner, less ashy looking, since she actually had a nose it could be a different shape then just straight, their could be more detail for her hair. While she's the best designed character, their is room to grow.

Side note: Y'all hating Sera too much. I see fanart and animatics of her being this blood thirsty killer that is jus destroying hell. Yall she is actively shown in the first 2 minutes of Hazbin not agreeing with the exterminations and actively frowning at the idea of murder. Sera is great I don't know what yall are on.

Last and certainly least because oh my god:

Emily

This is not a black woman. No I don't care that Viv said she's or that her Bible page says she is. Where is any black features? Her skin is gray, she has pencil thin lips like me, a white boy, she has stringy straight hair, and no nose at all.

This goes along with Sera as well but people say that they are angel's and don't have to look like black women because their angels and don't have a race. Which 1. Is wrong because Emily's Bible page said she was a youthful 20 something black woman and 2. If their angel's that dont have races then that fine. But.

DON'T SAY THEIR BLACK WOMAN AND THEN NOT DESIGN THEM LIKE IT.

If Viv just left them raceless then the would have been fine. But that not what she did. She made them black and then back peddled when people said that they didn't look like black woman. She tried to have her cake and eat it too. No, I don't care their angel's, if your going to give them a race then commit to it.

Let's get on to my conspiracy theory. I've noticed something in the Hazbin Hotel fandom that I think is the reason for the dismissal of the black characters no having black features.

Fanart.

I'm going somewhere with this is swear.

Go to Tumblr or Tiktok and see the art people create of Hazbin Hotel. You'll notice that people give Alastor and Velvette brown skin, they give Emily curly hair, they give Velvette full lips and different black hairstyles.

People make their art of the black characters looking black so when people see it they associate it with the show.

This is of course just a theory but I've noticed it alot and I think it's a pretty damn good explanation.

Sorry if this isn't as good as my other rants, I tried to get this out quickly because my theory was bothering me.

Dropping the Controversial Tickling Tea~

A list of takes that may be controversial but I no longer care because these issues are argued about far too often not to say anything

It’s okay to have preferences. I feel like we understand this concept on the lee side, but ostracize it on the ler side. If someone doesn’t like being tickled in a certain area, we okay that, but if someone doesn’t like to tickle a certain area, then people become defensive as though it is somehow specifically targeting them. If a ler doesn’t like to tickle feet, understandable! If they exclusively like to tickle feet, ALSO understandable! If a ler doesn’t like to tickle a certain area but the lee loves being tickled there, then that is something to discuss and talk about. Maybe they’re willing to budge on that point, maybe they’re not, but either way, neither side should force the other to do something that makes them uncomfortable. 

The SFW and the NSFW community are not always black and white. Some people view tickling as a kink in certain scenarios, and platonic in others, and that’s fine. Some people don’t view tickling as a sexual act, but enjoy when it’s combined with sex because it makes them feel loved. Some people view tickling as romantic, but not necessarily sexual. It is not simply platonic or sexual, it’s a much larger gray area than people give it credit for. It’s okay to view it as completely non-sexual too, as well as to get off on it. That does not mean you have the right to judge other people for the way they enjoy it. We’re all just trying to get along here. 

Fictional characters are just that—fictional. If you write a fic where Bakugo kills Deku it does not mean you are advocating murder, you are simply exploring a perspective. If you write a fic where Bakugo holds down Deku and tickles him while he begs for it to stop, that is also, technically, okay. Although non-con is a pretty big no-no in real life, fictional characters are an outlet to express... well, pretty much anything. If you write a fic where Levi is tied up against his will and tickled, that’s your prerogative. So long as you are not genuinely inflicting harm on anyone, that’s fine. I personally am not a huge fan of non-con in fics, but you do you boo. Not to mention, sometimes you just want to write fucked up stories. My Gorillaz fic is hella non-consensual in part one because they have a fucked up relationship and I was exploring what would happen if you combined that idea with something like a tickle kink. It does not mean I support it in real life. Stop criminalizing tumblr users as if these fictional characters are real people. 

On that note—non-con is not always bad. I’m not going to get too into this as I’m not the most informed individual on the matter, but CNC does exist, and blends a form of consent and non-consent together, with the victims okaying it upfront and allowing their consent to be overridden later on. So. You know. That exists, so non-con can even be ethical IRL in certain situations. 

If you like feet, that’s okay. This one’s pretty simple. Stop kink-shaming people, guys. If you don’t like feet, cool, don’t be a dick to others about it. Hands are grosser bacteria wise than feet anyway. 

Aging up fictional characters is not morally wrong. This goes back to the fictional characters rule. Sometimes it’s just to explore a different perspective, sometimes it’s because the show freezes with them at like 16 or something so you’ll never have a chance to write about them in an adult context. Again, fictional characters, not real, we could argue the ethics of it all day long, but at the end of the day no IRL minors/adults are being harmed.

You can be an older person writing fanfiction in the tickle community. I’m using the term older broadly to mean anyone between 25-60+ because often it is past 25 once tumblr users start being weird about it. Almost all published writers are adults, if anything it makes more sense to be in your thirties and writing fanfiction, tickling related or otherwise. There is no time limit to existing within the community, so do not bully people for this. 

On that note, I don’t think minors should be ostracized from the community. I understand that we want to protect the innocence of youth, but at the same time it is highly hypocritical to put those expectations on them. I’ve been scrolling tk fics since I was 8 and have been lurking on tumblr since 12, and definitely took in some content that was more,,,, NSFW in nature. Now, whether that was the healthiest way to exist on the internet or not, I don’t know, but the point is that I did it, as have many other people on here. We did not all wait till we were 18 to make accounts on here. 

It is nearly impossible to exclude minors from the kink side of the community. It is both possible and realistic that people will develop a sexuality at an early age, usually around puberty. I don’t think you should be engaging in sex at that age per se, but you are most certainly not blind to the concept. Kinks also tend to develop early on in people, either subconscious or otherwise. For many children, they turn to the internet to try to understand these feelings as they don’t feel like they can confide in their peers. The reality of minors on the internet being exposed to sexual content is a given. You can put up as many DNI or DNF’s as you want, but at the end of the day there is nothing to stop them from lurking. People can also lie about their age just as easily. I’m not saying minors should be involved in the kink community, I’m just saying that, realistically, they are. Not to mention, the term “minor” goes all the way up to 17. So minor does not always mean 9-12 year old's, and that’s important to remember. 

If a content creator is not comfortable with something, don’t push it on them. Like I said, everyone has preferences and if they don’t have theirs listed there’s no real way to help accidentally suggesting a request/commission at some point that makes them uncomfy. The best you can do at that point is respect their opinions and try to think of a different request that they might be more comfortable with. There’s nothing wrong with you for asking it or them for not wanting to do it, so long as both of you are respectful about communicating these things to each other. 

Please, please, please do not be forcing tickling on real life people if they hate it. Fictional characters is one thing, but real people have real feelings and needs that can be seriously hurt if you push their boundaries. This does not apply to playful pokes, a gently tasing someone from behind as that all falls under general friendly rough-housing with friends. But, if a person tells you that they don’t like tickling, do not force it on them. Being tickled is an unbelievably vulnerable situation and it can be traumatizing if you are forced to endure it. Hence why so many adults hate it due to older siblings when they were younger. This falls in with the unspoken don’t be a dick to people rule. 

Recognize the validity of switches. Switches are versatile, yes (I would know, being one ;)), however, they they are not merely puppets to fill whichever role you need them to. If a switch is in a lee mood, do not try to force them into the opposite position, or vice versa. They have no obligation to fit specifically the mood you’re in; they’re people too.

Finally, the Tickle Community is varied! In general, we tend to lump everyone into one large group all centered around one interest—tickling. However, the community is comprised of a variety of different subsets that do not all fit together evenly. There’s people who enjoy it in a fictional sense, people who enjoy it IRL, people who like both, the SFW and NSFW sides of the community, and a million other distinctive groups. It is not fair to try to expect everyone to bend to your particular beliefs around tickling, as we are all just trying to enjoy it in our way.

I'm not lying. And I've been following the events closely (not just on tumblr). I truly wish that I lived in the same world as you, but from where I am, everybody believes Israel and is taking their side. You're either ignorant or hateful.

(And Israel definitely bombed that hospital and then lied about it, just like they did in 2014 and 2021.)

I’ve been following them closely too and I wish you lived in the same world I do as well, which is the real one. If you lived in the real world you would not see everyone taking Israel’s side because that’s flat out not happening. Can you show me evidence of that?

Israel did not bomb the hospital. Palestinian terrorists did and then lied about it. Just like they do every day all day. We now have footage where we can essentially see their own missile hit the hospital. But you were all too quick to blame Israel because you hate Israel and are too ready for them to be in the wrong.

But your few examples years apart of Israel hitting hospitals pales to the thousands of rockets Hamas is constantly firing at Israel, which would end up with thousands more Israelis dead if they didn’t have the Iron Dome. The only reason Palestinian hospitals get hit is because Hamas is using them to store missiles, using their citizens as human shields, which they’ve admitted to, in hopes that people like will just turn a blind eye to their atrocities and blame Israel for their civilian deaths when Hamas is telling their civilians to ignore the warnings of the IDF because they want Israel’s missiles to kill innocent people. Israel is trying to avoid killing civilians and if you followed this even remotely closely you would know that.

You get bent all out of sorts when one hospital in Gaza gets hit (and not by Israel. Please prove they hit it and lied when the video surveillance shows otherwise) but you don’t seem to have much to say say about Hamas raping and murdering children and murdering 1400 innocent people in Israel just a few days ago.

If you are following this as closely as you claim, you are indeed a liar who must just hate Jews and want them dead. Otherwise, you are ignorant.

First, feel free to give us the deliciousness of Lily’s conversation with her roommates about the dorm parties.

Second, I also hc that Lily wasn’t all that popular; she’s not only freely hanging out with a guy who calls Muggleborns slurs and calling this guy her best friend, she is actively making excuses for him. I absolutely see her roommates as side eyeing the fuck out of her for this and kind of holding her at a distance. They find her nice enough to hang out with and it’s not horrible in the dorms, and they’re encouraging her to end her friendship with Snape (in large part because they are genuinely worried she’s going to be murdered because of it, such as by Voldemort ordering Snape to kill her as initiation, Snape killing her to prove to his wannabe Death Eater friends that he’s not defending Muggleborns and he’s going to join with them, someone like Avery killing her because she’s a mudblood he has easy access to because of her friendship with one of his roommates, etc. Like, a large chunk of people near Lily thought she’d die because of this friendship and they turned out to be right albeit in a way they never expected), but they’re not super close to her because she is implicitly defending her best friend’s prejudice and thereby saying she doesn’t care what’s happening to everyone else because of it. Mary in particular is hardcore judging her

anon i am putting it on my absurdly long list of ideas-to-write (which has expanded suddenly?? out of nowhere?? i was in a writing/fandom slump literally three weeks ago) as we speak. as the asks come in. i will write it into the tumblr post box if nothing else.

but. but. yes! u get it! i think lily made a decision that made sense to her, obviously not knowing how the WW works and sticking to her safe space in a world that's so different and so alien to her, right? she's also the kind who'll double down instead of admitting she might be wrong and the slightly codependent/possessive friendship snily has doesnt help. and in the beginning, her roommates did try--for a long time. they tried to explain the blood dynamics, talk about snape as a person, how she's setting herself up for failure etc but lily's firmly entrenched in her 'not like other muggleborns' complex atp so she takes all their words like attacks (similar to james/sirius on the train). it just doesnt help. and that pushes her deeper towards snape as well. its like a terrible cycle.

many others lose patience with her after a while and just maintain a distance. a few are downright mean but lily gives back as good as she gets. sirius has no patience and james is too kind (unless it comes to snape himself). all of it just adds to the confusion the poor girl must be feeling.

i also talked ab it a while but i do think that, as the years go by, and snape's ~friends transform into junior DEs (and him too), all of lily's disagreements w him happen in private while her support of him is public. that can also lead to a skewed picture, especially for other halfbloods/muggleborns. bc what is this girl doing????

METANOIA - novel & eventual TV series

summary: Set in the tiny fictional town of Plain River, the story follows 25-year-old Malachi Azevedo as he tries to regain his memories after an "accident" erases the first 18 years of his life. Stuck caring for his ever-ailing mother, plagued by intrusive thoughts of self-harm, and constantly feeling like an impostor living in the wrong skin, Malachi latches onto The Void - a familiar voice in his head - to cope. A connection immediately forms between Seo Joon and the rescued stranger, Yul, who convinces the former to put off his initial plans.

It's only the next morning that Seo Joon learns two things: Yul is a photographer working for the police, and the man they killed was completely certain Yul was a serial killer trying to claim him as the next victim.

FLAT 27 - short film

summary: Detached from society and impaired by his deteriorating mental state, writer Ryan latches onto one of the last things that can still keep him going - his novel. He fixates on trying to finally finish it, but the incessant noises in his head prevent him from concentrating as he hasn't slept for days on end.

His inspiration is finally awakened when he overhears a tormented cello playing from the neighbouring apartment. Ryan grows dependent on the music to write, believing his neighbour, Damien, is playing specifically for him, and they're bonded through their art despite never exchanging a single word. Steve is in a great mood. Ever since he told Robin the whole story, it’s felt like this huge weight off his shoulders. 

Although in the immediate wake of it, his latest migraine had kind of shaken loose a new brand of nightmare in which Eddie hadn’t been involved in any of the Upside Down stuff. Which was great! Really, it was, because Eddie hadn’t deserved any of that shit. Except . . . they were still dating, but because of all the NDAs Steve couldn’t explain any of his scars or the nailbat that he kept within reach at all times. When he’d woken up to find that they still matched, and they’d reached a compromise of keeping nailbat in the Beemer with several regular bats placed strategically around the house, he’d cried unabashedly into Eddie’s shoulder for over half an hour. 

Then Eddie had filled him in on the impromptu encounter with Robin at Family Video—which Steve apologized for until Eddie kissed him senseless. (Steve had tried to radio, but given up after hearing it crackle in Eddie’s empty bedroom—which Eddie apologized for until Steve kissed him senseless.)

And then Steve had cried again, because he still had some post-migraine fog in his brain and his best friend hadn’t murdered his boyfriend. 

The next time he has a shift with Robin, he naturally tells her all that. She makes an approving noise upon hearing that Eddie had made sure he stayed hydrated the entire time. No further comment, but she’s not in a bad mood afterwards so Steve is taking it as a win.

“Hey Eds?” Steve calls as soon as he gets home from dropping Robin off after work. 

Wayne, settled in his chair in the living room with the day’s paper, points down the hallway with a corner of the newsprint. “In his room.”

“Thanks Wayne.” Steve hurries to Eddie’s room and pushes his way in without knocking. “Eds, hey, I gotta ask you about someth—”

He recognizes Jeff immediately, of course. The thing that catches him off guard is the way Eddie is draped on the bed next to him, upside down, his hair hanging off the near side of the bed with his ass and legs propped up against the far wall, hugging Steve’s letterman jacket to his chest like a security blanket. 

Eddie blinks up at him with Bambi eyes and grins. “Steve!” He immediately starts to roll to the side, ending up wobbling to his knees and discarding the jacket on the bed in favor of moving toward Steve with all the grace of a baby giraffe. “Shi-it, head rush—”

He lurches, and Steve manages to jump forward in time to catch him with a chuckle. “Hey. You guys been smoking?”

“Yep,” Jeff confirms with an unrepentant grin. 

“Tiiiny bit,” Eddie mumbles into his neck, and then licks him there. It’s not a little lick either, he uses his entire tongue. 

Steve glances at Jeff, who just smirks back. And it’s a relief—because yeah, Steve already knew that he knows, but it’s nice to have everything out in the open now. 

He doesn’t begrudge Eddie’s best friend for knowing. When Steve started figuring out he wasn’t totally straight, Robin had been the first person he’d gone to. (At three am, forgetting to radio ahead before shimmying up a drainpipe to her window. She’d screamed in his face and dented a Kleenex box on his head, but she’d let him in.) So, yeah, the general population of Hawkins can’t know . . . but the important people? That’s fine. Great, even. That much more weight off his shoulders.

“How was work, Stevie?” Eddie asks before he’s even had time to react. “Oh, wait, what did you want to ask? It’s okay to ask in front of Jeff, he’s good people.”

The part of Steve that still never expects to hear it glows from the inside out at this show of interest in his day, in what he’s thinking about and might want. 

Jeff nods in agreement. “We were just talking about not judging books by their covers.”

“I said that,” Eddie interjects, looking around from where he’s still cozy with Steve’s neck. 

“You were ranting,” Jeff corrects lazily. “I was talking.”

Steve smiles in spite of himself, because yeah, that sounds like Eddie. Still, he shrugs and says, “I was a douche in school, I’d say any judgment based on that is justified.”

Eddie huffs and starts pulling him to sit with him on the bed. “Yeah, but you’re different now, man. You’ve fought de—” He snaps his mouth shut mid-word to avoiding breaking the NDA he’d signed. (Steve, who had signed it too and more besides over the years, lets out a tiny breath of relief. It’s safer for Jeff if he doesn’t know everything everything.) “Well, uh, I mean, you have more life experience now, and as a result have put in the effort to grow out of your douchebaggery. It’s called moral fiber.”

“Aaand now you’ve heard the rant,” Jeff says with a snicker, then levers himself up. “I gotta piss. Don’t start a new joint without me, I’m serious.”

“Shut up,” Eddie says with a pout, then yells after him, “and get more Mountain Dew on your way back!” He turns to Steve as soon as Jeff is out of the room and presses a kiss to his cheek, then another, then another, until he catches the corner of Steve’s mouth and hums happily against it. “Hey baby.”

Steve basks in the attention. “Hi. I could’ve grabbed the Mountain Dew.”

“Nah, I wanted you all to myself for a minute.” Eddie sits up a little straighter, grows a little more serious. “What did you want to talk about, really?”

“I was just thinking,” he starts, and interrupts himself by giving Eddie a proper kiss. They’re both smiling into it, happiness bubbling up in Steve’s chest like a hot spring. “Mm. Thinking, and Rob thinks it’s a good idea too—We should tell Dustin.”

Eddie starts nodding immediately, though there’s a flicker of hesitation in his reddened eyes. “Yeah. Yeah, me too.” 

“That we’re together,” Steve clarifies. “He doesn’t need all the details about how.”

Brightening immediately, Eddie pops up on his knees again and swings to plop himself over Steve’s lap, looping both arms around his neck. “Oh thank god. I’m sorry baby, you know I am, but talking to Robin about everything took years off my life, and Dustin would be—”

“Insufferable,” Steve finishes, and nips at his lip. He has to, can’t help it; Eddie’s lips are so biteable. “For both of us. I love that kid like a brother, but Jesus Christ—”

“His tone,” Eddie agrees, and bites him back, on the earlobe this time. Not an area that Steve had ever really thought of as an erogenous zone, but he’s learned a lot of new things about his own body since they started dating. “You know that he’ll tell all his little friends. . . . Are you ready to be out to the entire younger generation of monster hunters?”

Steve sighs as Eddie starts nibbling down his neck, eyelids drooping. He is a little nervous about everyone knowing, but he also knows that it would be good for Will to see that there’s a chance—maybe not with Mike, who knows, but that being gay and being happy aren’t mutually exclusive. “Yeah. Yeah, I am. . . . Are you?” 

The whole Party is pretty ride or die for Will Byers, so Steve figures they can deal with him and Eddie too. They’ve adapted to worse things than two dudes being in love. (Can he call it that yet? He wants to. He’s not going to say it yet, doesn’t want to move too fast and screw things up, but he feels it.)

“With this group? I was born ready, baby.” Eddie’s hands slip beneath the sides of his Family Video vest and teases at the bottom edge of the polo he’s wearing, inching it up to swipe his thumbs over a sliver of chest hair and stomach. “Can’t wait to show off my super hot new boyfriend.”

From the doorway, Jeff says loudly, “Don’t show off too much, dumbass, the door’s still open.” In the distance, there's a noise that might be a muffled guffaw from Wayne—this place is bigger than the trailer, but it's not Harrington house big.

Eddie groans, dropping Steve’s shirt to loop his arms around his neck again and lean back until he’s looking at Jeff upside down. (Steve hurries to get his arms around Eddie, so he doesn’t tip over backwards.) “This is my room, you dick.”

“I brought Mountain Dew,” Jeff retorts, holding up the cans.

“. . . Okay, trespass forgiven.” Eddie swings himself off Steve, who is a little relieved they didn't have more time to get over-excited.The pops are distributed and Steve, ditching his work vest—or, as Eddie deems it, the shackles of a restrictive capitalistic society—joins them in smoking their next joint.

Okay so I saw you on a post talking about giving fanfic recs, and I was like “I am always looking for more of my favorite trope, maybe I should poke them”

I am always on the lookout for some good platonic Yandere stuff. That dynamic where some person shows up and does morally dubious things in the name of the person they love.

I have read so much of this, and am always looking for more. I’ve scoured the “vault time” tag in the MHA fandom, read from the larger writing blogs with this genre on tumblr, and so on.

So uhhhhh do you have any recommendations? From either fanfic or other media. I’m not picky, I just want more of this trope.

Hmm. I've not come across too much of this, especially platonically.

But I think basically Merlin and Supernatural in their entirety comprise of this very thing. Merlin's morality and ethical standards seem to lower with every progressive season, and by the end of S5, he is literally unrecognizable from the cheerful kid in S1. Part of it is the trauma, but how much he does for Arthur, how desperate he is to protect him, how he has given everything for him is similar to what you want, and is unsettling at some point in the show. I guess it's the reason Merthur is such a popular ship - people don't believe they'd do this stuff for 'just a friend' (there's also the fact that they're described as 'two sides of the same coin' aka soulmates and it's stated that Arthur is the reason Merlin is born and the purpose of his life which people can't digest as platonic either.)

Supernatural is all about Sam and Dean Winchester's epic bond and how they almost end the world multiple times for each other. 'Psychotically, irrationally, erotically codependent' is how their relationship is described, and it's pretty accurate. I love it, but I also know this show is extremely infamous for other things, so.

As for fanfics, well. Going into these fandoms and searching tags like 'Dark Merlin' gets fics like Dragonfire Wrapped in a Skin of Shadows where Merlin has gone off the deep end and is murdering people in Arthur's name. Torn in which Merlin tortures someone to find a missing Arthur.

by any means necessary is a Hunger Games fic in which Katniss is genuinely as ruthless as she thinks herself as and kills most everyone in the arena to go back home to Prim.

The Smoke series, two Harry Potter fics where Sirius Black isn't entirely human, but he loves James and Harry and will do anything for them - including murder.

I also have some Dark Irondad in my bookmarks! no place like home in which a Tony Stark who lost Peter Parker in another dimension kidnaps the one from the canon dimension and keeps his captive. sweet but psycho where Tony comes back wrong from the dead and adopts Peter against his will after killing his aunt May.

Will You Fight At My Side? is a Blood of Olympus oneshot where Percy jumps in on Jason and Zeus' fight and kills Zeus and threatens all the other gods out of loyalty to Jason.

In the Choices series, Harry Potter is resorted into Slytherin in his second year. Particularly in later installments, he gathers followers who are all immensely loyal to him and he to them. It isn't complete, but the author updates fairly frequently.

unforgiven (I'm a villain) is an MCU oneshot where James Rhodes dies during Civil War and Tony is desperate to get him back - but not before getting revenge brutally.

Graveyard Set Up

Tumblr prompt: Grave robber digs up the wrong patch and discovers someone who's been buried alive.

Zane wiped both his sandy hair and the sweat away from his face. The cool dry air of the desert night felt refreshing as he dauntingly climbed out of the exhumed grave. Tossing the shovel to the side, Zane looked to his scrawny business partner. "Your turn, Freddy".

The copper haired man looked over to the other with excited pewter eyes. Grabbing a weathered medical bag, Freddy rushed past Zane and to the edge of the hole, "so what exactly am I taking off of the old bastard?"

"I need the right arm, right leg and head of this man," Zane panted, sitting on the ground to catch his breath. Pulling out his small journal, Zane read the contents aloud. "The head already has a buyer. A necromancer I think. And I need the limbs for something I'm working on".

With a simple nod, Freddy hopped into the grave with thud.

Zane took a minute to gather himself before taking on his next task as the lookout. Slightly cursing himself for picking poorly during their coin flip. Rules are rules, he thought. This was how the job was with a partner. Ever since Freddy joined with him in his more shady endeavors, Zane had been getting more done. Grave robbing was already hard work, but having an assistant that was actually intelligent and can carry his own weight was a relief. 

They decided flipping a coin was the fairest way to split the work. One would dig and fill the grave back up and stand watch for the guards while the other took what they needed from the grave and stood watch while the other dug. Given that there was someone always on watch, both Zane and Freddy agreed that the work was evenly spread. 

The familiar sound of the casket giving way drew Zane from his thoughts and the unexpected gasp made him jump to immediate panic. He rushed to the grave to see Freddy standing over the open casket.

"There's a woman in here!" Freddy panic whispered. "And she is still breathing! Fucking all-mother, she's alive!"

Zane peered around Freddy to see a young dark haired woman curled up in the casket. Her bloodied fingers matching the claw marks on the inside of the shredded cloth lid. Her breathing was shallow and uneven. Much longer in the grave and she would have met her end Zane guessed. The sound of clanking armor and hastened footsteps sent Zane's panic into overdrive. The guards should be making their rounds in another thirty minutes, not now. Unless…

"Freddy grab the girl and let's go! We've been set up!"

"Why should we take her? It's kidnapping!"

"If we get caught with her here, it's attempted murder! If she comes with us, we can ask her who would want to put her in some old man's grave. Probably the same people who wanted us to dig this old man up".

Freddy shrugged, not arguing with that logic. Together, both men hoisted the unconscious woman out of the grave and the three escaped capture. 

Zane always assumed that he and Freddy were going to make enemies, but being set up was completely different. 

The men got back to their home safely and Zane started to care for the woman. Between his medical history and Freddy's help, they were able to mend the woman's injured hands. Her breathing and complexion improved by morning, all they had to do was wait for her to wake. 

Freddy and Zane had so many questions. Hopefully their new house guest was willing or able to answer them.

I love Xavier and Wednesday's relationship and hope they explore it more next season. Don't get me wrong I am 100% a Tyler and Wednesday fan they are in love, however Xavier and Wednesday have this bond that goes deeper than a friendship in someway they need each other and help each other but Xavier has confused that bond with love which isn't there. I think for Xavier as soon as he saw Wednesday he saw the girl who saved his life when they were kids and all these feelings came back up which has confused him and he needs to work through them and realise it's not love though they do care very deeply for one another through the series you see Wednesday go to him for guidance often also cause she trusts him and cares about what he thinks. What do you think? (this is much shorter to the one I sent originally but I can't remember all I wrote pmsl)

Um okay so you might be disappointed in this response and I'm sorry about that! I'm firmly on the side of aroace Wednesday who had no interest in being in a relationship at all so all the shipping stuff going on kind of just annoyed me a little bit. I mean she flat out stated "I will never fall in love or be a housewife or have a family" and then spent the rest of the show being annoyed at all these boys trying to date her. All the romance stuff going on just annoyed her the whole time and then at the end of the season she's suddenly "into" Tyler? It was weird to me. I'd have preferred a whole season (or show) without any romantic relationships for Wednesday at all. I think I agree with you that Xavier was confused over what he maybe felt for Wednesday but Wednesday....man Wednesday barely thought of him as a friend most of the time and I felt like Xavier was kinda pushy with his feelings and I got annoyed on Wednesday's behalf. My girl is just trying to solve a murder. Leave her be. Same with Tyler. These dudes keep pushing romantic feelings toward her and she did not give a crap about it all. They were suspects and that's it until like the last couple of episodes when she began to realize they were friends or could be friends and that having friends is good. Especially once she knew it was Tyler the whole time and Xavier wasn't the bad guy. I'm sorry this is probably not what you wanted to hear from at all. I do look forward to seeing more of Wednesday and Xavier in the next season. I want to see Wednesday explore and engage in friendships. Something she's never had before and now she has several people with whom she can form true friendships with and I love that. Enid, Bianca, Eugene, Xavier, and maybe even Tyler at some point cause that boy has been tortured and brainwashed and I want him to get help.

So i can tell you there is no and i mean NO ticklish toga and this world needs more so imma change that

Dabi saw what toga was trying to do so, he dodged Toga and pinned her to the couch. " oh, so you really want it, if you want then you have to call Endevor and say ' hey bitch what up aka the -100 pro hero oh wait i'm wrong -1000000000 pro hero' and the hang up" Dabi said with a smirk.

"no no i cant do that Dabi even if you tickle-" Toga paused there. " ohoho there is no turning back now is there vampire" Dabi said as he started tickling toga's sides. "dahahahbie sahahahp" she giggled."Not until you do it" Dabi chuckled. "Nhoohohoh" Toga helplessly giggled as Dabi started to go up to her ribs "ok ok ill do ihihit ill do ihuhit just shahap" Toga said." ok" dabi said.

As a Leader you must have everyone in the right spot so then they can be put in the right spot to make a good team but, Shigaraki was only so young and expected to run a team very well. Lets see what Kurogiri does about that

"Kurogiri could you pass me a glass?' the dusty villain said as He groaned at the same time. "Of course young master" as the Villain said and passing the glass. "Hard day? you look mad' Kurogiri said."mad? i'm not mad....I'M.PISSED.OFF" Shigaraki said and oh boy did he look pissed off,yep he was. "first off,Dabi is most likey to be off who knows where. Second, Toga and Twice went out to go murder some people for some "ShOw", And Compress lost my GLOVES, so now i've gotta where my artist gloves" Shigaraki said. "some days like these i wonder if i'm in a villain group or a babysitters group"

"Really, As a leader I must get the rhythm so then I can Assemble them in the right places" Shigaraki said as he finished his glass and put it to the side. "It's like a Puzzle But, you have to put all your effort into it" Shigaraki said. Kurogiri replaced it with "fun".

"Not eveything in life will be fun Kurogiri" Shiagarki said. Even though it was Expected of Him to run a Team, he was only 21 and it really hurt to see him like this it really did.

Before Shigaraki knew it Kurogiri was behind him, and he Didn't become Aware of that until he felt...something............Unexpected.

"What the-EK" shigara`ki said without getting to finish his sentence. He looked behind him and he saw Kurogiri wiggling his hand on his sides. "kurhohhaahhahaheheheahigii! whahaahaat thehehehe hehehehHAhehell!" shigaraki said while giggling. "see! It's good to have some fun at times! even when you're feeling down!"kurogiri said while tickling shigaraki "swapaahahahhahahp" shiagarki said.

Was this really how "fun" felt, he couldn't agure with that he was feeling better...... but still!

Then he grabed Kurogiri. "tahahahke thheheheis" shigaraki said tickling the older mans sides while gilding them. "Hehehe pl-hehese" Kurogiri said. "HUH? I CANNOT UNDERSTAND YOU" shigaraki said tessingly."WHAT IS SOOOOOO FUNNY ANYWAYS?" shigaraki said sarcastically also getting behind him. Now they were near the couch. "Shiihihihihihehegarki pl-plhehehhese" Kurogiri said.

Without hesitation Kurogiri turned around and pinned him to the couch. "wait Kurogiri w-we can talk about this right?" shiagaraki said. and before he knew it kurogiri aimed for is worst second spot his underarms. "WHAIAIAIT ST-HOHOHP" shigaraki said helplessly, and with a rare shade of redish pinkish blush."OMG PLEASSESSE GAHAHHAHA" shiagaraki said with teary eyes. "hmmm..... bad spot?" Kurogiri teased. "NOHOHOHO TEASESEING" shiagarki said "OKHAHAY OKA-HAHA-HAHAH-STOHOHOHOP" Shigaraki said. "ok,ok i'll stop" kurorgiri said with a smirk. "heh..heh your....so....fucking evil" shiagarki said. "oh come one i know you liked it" Kurogiri said giggling he just could hold it in anymore. Shigaraki looked embarrassed "h-hey don't laugh i'm mad".

hii the regubartylily anon here u said ur curious about my other rarepairs so here i am to talk about that because well i love my silly rarepairs and i love yapping about them

in no specific order:

sybella, sybill trelawney x bellatrix black. they make me insane. i believe it was @/quillkiller who came up with them and i havent been the same since.

regulily. im a basic bitch i see two cool people kissing i become obsessed. they are exactly who i want to be. im not sure how i imagine lily because theres so many versions of her but every single one fits with reg perfectly

regtunia. im not sure whos post it was but someone made a moodboard and @/foursaints reblogged it and oh my god. oh my fucking god. they leave and sirius and lily are so happy that they are following in their footsteps but they just want a simple quiet life they dont want to rebel. they both feel abandoned and neglected. they are two sides of the same coin.

regubartylily, you and ren are geniuses. i cant decide whether i like the happy ending (regulily & rosekiller) or the bad ending (barty gets murdered) more. there is something compelling about the idea of both reg and lily projecting onto barty and wanting things from him. im not sure if they actually care about him or is he just providing them with attention. idk. it makes me feel kinda bad for him but also thats barty crouch jr. he deserves it. hes also the perfect pure pookiebear that hasnt done a thing wrong in his entire life but like. also he should suffer. you understand.

omg hi!!! this is so interesting thank you for sharing! and i’m so happy to see regubartylily crack your top 5 hehe. i will say you’re absolutely right that jen is a rarepair genius. i too eat up everything she posts.

sybella is so interesting i don’t think i’ve every come across that (i gotta go stalk jen’s blog) but in a similar vein i loveeee sybillily. kara @/sugarsnappeases has talked to me about them extensively and has an amazing fic for them. they’re so interesting. like the girl who’s doomed and the one who doomed her. it gets me!!!!

bartylily is probably my biggest rarepair if they can even be considered rare anymore 🥲. there still aren’t many fics for them but i think they’re kinda taking off on tumblr which so so fun. they’re so special to me and i’ll love them forever.

and then of course we’ve got regubartylily and jartylily. my cursed threesomes. what can i say i love to stick barty in the middle of a preexisting ship and see what happens.

i’ve also talked about evjames a couple times. i don’t ship them at all but i think they’re hilarious when put in a relationship together.

honorable mentions to ludora (lucius and pandora) and pandoraleco (which has been brewing in my mind lately… more later perhaps)
