I genuinely think the reason I have like. Zero mental illness really is just that I have stopped taking myself seriously aeons ago. Atp if I fuck something up in an embarrassing way I just make a dumb joke about it and then pretend it never happened and if anyone brings it up I just make a dumb joke about it and shrug it off because let's be real we can't be sure anything else is and if I'm the only real thing out there then what do I care for the opinions of some figments of my subconscious and if they all are actually real then it's no use beating myself up over past fuckuperies. The real way to be at least somehwat well adjusted is to just stop caring about all of that.
#and also that way people are less likely to bring it up again#if you don't get a reaction it's no fun to tease#if they see you don't care they won't care either because where's the gun in that#fun*#they're still teasing me about the wineglass i broke tgat one time i was tipsy but that's just because i think it's funny as well#so i pretend to be embarrassed by it#i really am not it's just a glass#interactions are like chess really#a strategic game of estimations#and after a while of watching people interact and watching a ton of movies to learn possible reply tactics you just kinda get the hang of it#i know how to play the game and I know how to win the game that's why nobody dislikes me#haven't met a single person that has something against me on a personal level and you know why#because I know how to be just polite enough to be charming and I don't have enough personality to provoke an opinion#I'm a little proud of that it's a bit annoying that the consequence is that nobody actually cares if I'm there or not#because it doesn't really make a difference#but that's something I'm still rather proud of#explained this to my classmate friendish acquaintances recently and they said that that's not how normal people work and I say they do#they just don't know it#they called me insane for understanding the basics of interpersonal communication#thats why I love meaningless smalltalk#boring? a little bit it is so interesting to observe conversations happening#talking to someone about their family and then dropping in the “oh I wouldn't know I don't talk to my mother a lot''#and then you just watch the process of them thinking they've made a social faux pas and trying to not make the situation awkward#it's fascinating to me#because I brought that up I said it so nonchalantly#and yet you think it must be this tense topic#why?#this is all made up if you really think about it but we're all sticking to the same scripts of the same 'do's and 'don't's#and then you ostracize people for not doing that! the hypocrisy of it all is really what makes it so wonderful. better than any play#when Shakespeare said all the world's a stage I hope this is what he meant

﹙ 𐙚 : heeseung﹚ .ᐟ
smirking when you held the gun in your shaking hand. “be careful you might shoot yourself.” he sat calmly in his chair. “don't patronize me.” you shouted , waving the gun. “whoa , im sorry.” he put his hand up with a smile. “why don't you put the gun down.” he said. “no, im leaving this place.” you said he nodded. “are you?” he was so unbothered — it pissed you off. “i don't think you are.” you were sick of all his tricks and mind games. you were finally over it , you pulled the trigger. click! that was it , the gun didn't go off. “did you seriously think i kept a fully loaded gun out in the open?” he was laughing at you. “are you dumb?” you felt like you were going crazy , you couldn't escape him , so you dropped to the ground. “please just kill me , please.” you begged unable to do it anymore ; you'd rather die than go through this any longer. “oh no im not gonna kill you.” he said, bending down to your level , the craziest smile on his face.
“where's the fun in that baby?”
﹙ 𐙚 : jay﹚ .ᐟ
the only way you would be able to kill jay is through his food and even that was hard — because you didn't even cook your own food , so you had to sneak into the kitchen on the pretense of helping since you did sometimes do that because that's all you could do since he kept you locked in the house almost every day. while you were left alone by the cooks, you poured the cleaning solution into the stew — it was served to him by the staff , but he quickly found something wrong. “what's wrong?” you asked, trying not to sound nervous. “you.” he pointed to the maid , calling them over. “eat this.” you didn't want to kill anyone else. “h-huh?” jay looked at you with a blank stare. “eat it i said.” you broke down, he pushed the bowl to the floor , the glass shattering along with the stew. “clean it up and leave.” he stood up from the seat making his way to you. “jay please , im sorry.” he was pissed. “don't plead now.” he grabbed you by your hair. “ow please you're hurting me.” he dragged you to your room — the one where it locked outside. “good.” he threw you down onto the floor.
“try and poison my food , let's see how long you last without food.”
﹙ 𐙚 : jake﹚ .ᐟ
you leaving alone was like stabbing him in the chest , but if you left and he did kill himself you knew you'd never forgive yourself. so you knew you had to do it , you had to kill him. “yn?” jake stood in the corner of the kitchen. he was pinned there by you pressing the knife against his chest. “what are you doing?” his eyes teary , you wouldn't fall for it. “jake i can't live like this , and you won't let me go.” before you plunge the knife into his chest , he held the knife in his hand. “do it.” he said tears down his face. “kill me , please do it , i don't want to live without you.” he said , his hand were bleeding. “if you hate me this much that means i’ve failed to love you and i deserve it.” you stood there in shock , you didn't know what to do. “j-jake.”
“i deserve so please just kill me , please.”
﹙ 𐙚 : sunghoon﹚ .ᐟ
you knew you were taking a chance trying to kill sunghoon; and you knew this was gonna be your only chance to kill him; because you'd either one die trying to or two be too scared to try again. you decided to try… that's where you fucked up at. taking the bat he often used ( on you and his other victims ) — swinging the bat , hitting him on the side of his head. you didn't even wait for him to hit the ground before you b-lined it to the door… that was your second fuck up, because had you waited even a second you would've realized he never got the ground. he stumbled but collected himself— picking up the same bat; your third and final fuck up, chasing after you. you were almost to the door, freedom on at your fingertip but it all came crashing down when you felt the bat hitting the back of your head and then it all went dark. when you woke up , he was standing over top of you , the side of his head still bleeding. “su-sunghoon , please.” his eyes were darker than ever. “please don't kill me , im sorry.” he scoffed. “im not gonna kill you.” he said but the way you said it — you wished he would.
“but im gonna make you fucking wish i did.”
﹙ 𐙚 : sunoo﹚ .ᐟ
you didn't want to hurt him; you didn't. but if you didn't do something he'd never let you go; or end up killing himself and you couldn't be left with a burden knowing he did that because of you. you didn't want him to be in pain as he died you couldn't believe you still had compassion for him , but you did. you decided killing him in his sleep was the way to go. waiting for him to fall asleep , moving as slow as you possibly could , undoing his arm and straddling his waist, the pillow in your hand as you covered his face , holding the pillow down. he began to thrash around , you held tightly as you heard the muffle of his cries; the saltiness from your tears on your tongue — you were crying. he took this as a chance, quickly flipping you over , he held you down tears streaming down his face. “why why why!” he shouted. “im sorry, im so sorry.” both of you sobbing, it was sick you felt so bad for what you did. “why did you do that yn?!” he shouted.
“i love you , i love you and you try and kill me , do you hate me that much ?!”
﹙ 𐙚 : jungwon﹚ .ᐟ
you needed to make sure he was dead, poisoning him? no he was way too smart for that. try to stab him? he long got rid of the knives. you had no option , the gun — the same gun he used to fuck with you. he'd keep one of those revolver guns and sometimes he'd put a bullet in it and told you to put it to his head , if it went off you were free , if not he'd put the gun to your head but he wouldn't pull the trigger because of course he would never hurt you , but the pure terror on your face amused him — much like now, when you grabbed the gun holding it to the back of his head. “if you wanted to play you could've just asked,” he said calmly. “sh-shut up.” you stuttered , he laugh. “you got one shot.” he said , just as you pulled the trigger… it didn't go off. “no!” you shouted , he grabbed the gun out of your hand. no please!” you begged, he smiled at you crouching in the corner. “it's my turn.” he knew the gun wasn't loaded at all , he always took the bullet out. the gun was pointed at your head , with a laugh.
“let's play fair this time , it's only right if i get a turn.”
﹙ 𐙚 : ni-ki﹚ .ᐟ
much like sunghoon; you'd only have one shot cause ni-ki would damn sure make sure you'd never do it again. you underestimated him though, thinking you could easily suffocate him in his sleep , thinking he'd be too inebriated to fight back. you were wrong and you soon figure that out when he easily overpowered you , flipping you over so that now he was on top. “stupid fucking girl.” he wrapped his fingers around your throat. “did you think this would work?” you couldn't breathe , your hands scratching at his hands trying to pull them off , you both were basically fighting at this point. he managed to get up , pulling you from the bed by your hair , dragging you , throwing you down to the floor , the crack of our wrist and your scream didn't phase him at all. “ni-niki please don't.” he picked up the bat.
“that wrist of yours is the least of your fucking problems.”

i just had a thought
you know what would really fuck up the batfam in the "not tonight" series imagine the reader instead of leaving gets kidnnaped and when the batfam saves them reader breaks down into crying in relief because they genuenly believed the batfam would not bother to save them
Imagine the absolute horror the batman would feel
I know its a little farfetched but i live for the angst
No, no! I love that idea!!! And it isn't all that farfetched seeing as the reader is a well known musician on some level, and even if that wasn't the case- they're still the kid of Bruce Wayne. Which, honestly, is enough motivation for someone to kidnap them, I'd say. Especially if the reasoning is for money, revenge/jealousy, or both honestly.
Besides all that, though- oh my god that would be awful! I love it!
Because imagine things from the reader's perspective (which, there is implied violence inflicted on the reader, mentions a blood, and a gun is pointed towards them. So, if it isn't your cup of tea then that's fine!):
Your 'family' that barely acknowledges you enough as it is, and the only guy who ever seems to notice that you're around is the single butler that basically takes care of everyone and everything in the manor. Now, you're kidnapped because of your relation/connection to the family, and have no hope to do anything besides just pray.
Maybe you have tried to escape before a few times at this point, but the punishment for such attempts have now gotten to the point where if you try again and fail, you'd surely die. Maybe you've also been trying so hard to escape yourself because you're just that certain and sure that the Batfam won't save you. Since, up until this point, anything dealing with or connecting back to you in some way has been ignored or dismissed one way or another. Why would something like a kidnapping be any different? Especially when they also haven't noticed other events where you have gotten hurt before.
Right from the gate, you're already thinking that the Batfam won't save you. Not that they can't, but just like with everything else- something will come up and steal away their attention, and you'll be left by yourself, and to defend yourself as always. That's what always seems to happen, and so why would now be different? In your mind, it wouldn't. So that's why when your attempts to escape fail, and the punishments not only get worse, but begin to pile up and reach a point where you think you're going to die- the situation quickly becomes much scarier.
You don't hope that Batman will suddenly show up, and instead pray that your best friend will notice your missing somehow. You don't think that Nightwing, Red Robin, Spoiler, or Orphan will suddenly swoop in and save the day, but instead try and hope that your producer/boss notices that you haven't replied to his calls or texts and contacts someone. You don't even consider that Red Hood or Robin will come barreling in and quickly deal with your kidnappers before rescuing you — instead all of your thoughts are filled with silent whispers and desperate pleas that someone- anyone you know will notice that you're gone, or that something is wrong, and will contact somebody. With that 'somebody' being the police or anyone of help, but not the Batfam.
Maybe a small thought does slip by, but you can only internally laugh at yourself because you either think that you've already lost enough blood to actually try and believe that lie, or your just growing that desperate to have a little hope. To have something to cling onto in this moment, that you chose the one thing that you're so convinced will never be given to you. A thought that only further cements itself in your mind the more time passes. With hours turning into days, and days to weeks.
Perhaps that's why you try to escape again. Deciding that you had better odds of succeeding despite your injuries, than the Batfam ever coming to save you. Let alone even thinking about it, or even realizing that you were gone in the first place. Taking that risk of getting caught again, and potentially getting killed this time, because no matter how hopeless or unlikely it seems for you to escape and make it out- those chances will always be higher than any single person from the Batfam showing up, and even attempting to save you. Even on accident, or on a whim- that possibility is so unlikely in your mind, that it's basically nothing more than a made up scenario or daydream to you. It's not an 'if' or 'when', but a flat out 'won't'.
Maybe that's why when you fail you get so scared, but can't help but feel like this was inevitable somehow. Of course, you don't want to die- but you had tried your best. You fought until the very end, and it almost feels a little too fitting that things ended up this way. With your efforts ending in vain, and you having nothing to show for it. With your attempts futile, and almost seeming idiotic from an outsider's point of view, and maybe it was.
You never stood a chance. You were doomed for failure. Not even all the training and experience you had could save you- and only now could you see how truly worthless all your efforts had been. With a gun pointed to your head, and your own blood providing the only warmth you've felt in days.
There's an odd sense of comfort and familiarity in the chill that shoots down your spine, and the cold gaze that one of your kidnappers give you. They're carelessness and disregard for your health reminding you of something, with their rough attacks and harsh punches bringing back times where you really did need the Batfam, only for no one to show up. Your call dying down as fast as it had risen that day, and one you never even bothered to make again.
So maybe that was why you were so surprised when help arrived, and even more so when you saw who exactly it was.
Before you could even fully register anything, you began to cry. A wide smile full of disbelief grows on your face, and more tears begin to fall as the smallest of laughs escape you. 'Unbelievable' is the first word that comes to mind when describing what you felt, and thought when you saw Batman drop down from the ceiling and deal with the guy who was about to kill you, and heard some commotion just down the hall.
At first, your convinced it's all some silly dream, and that maybe during your final moments- your mind decided to give you something nice to send you off. Almost like a warm parting gift to distract you from the hopelessness, and reality of the situation. Though it's only when pain shoots through your entire body when you move a certain way, that the thought of all of this being some made up hallucination or delusion vanishes, and you can't help but cry harder.
You don't know if it's a good or bad thing that after all this time- the one time they actually notice that you're gone, is when you not only get kidnapped, but can't escape by yourself. That the one time they acknowledge you, you're almost dead, bleeding out, and the most messy and vulnerable you've ever been.
Maybe life really did have some grudge against you to go to such lengths to fuck you over, but right now you're too relieved to be saved to care at the moment.
Yet, to say the Batfam feels awful on a totally new level, is an understatement. They understand feeling relieved, but to this extent? It's like you never expected them to come and save you at all... and that little thought seems to be true when one of them tries to help you out, and you're still laughing weakly as you continue to cry. Asking through a broken, wavering voice if all of this is real, and isn't some fucked up hallucination your having to make passing on easier. That they really showed up, and as a last ditch effort to not make your death anymore painful then it has to be- this isn't just some... dream, to make you feel like you were actually cared for in your final moments.
It breaks their hearts, a lot.
Especially when you repeat questions, as if trying to really make sure that they're there, that they're real, and aren't just some figment of your imagination. That they actually came to save you, and weren't off saving Gotham or the world itself instead. Constantly trying to be sure, as if the moment you weren't- then you'd be convinced that you were slowly dying all alone, with no hope of help coming — not even thinking that the Batfam would come — and just have to sit with that fact as you take your final breaths.
The pain you feel is almost equal to their's, and what really worries and scares most of them is how sure and certain you are that they wouldn't show up. That either the thought would never cross their minds, or that something else would come up and they'd leave you for dead, or that they just wouldn't notice that you were kidnapped at all.
Which, said fright and worry is only amplified when you have to keep asking "Are you really here? Are you sure?" And the like, and they have to keep finding ways to prove to you that yes, they are here. They're helping you, and they're not leaving- they actually managed to save you, and that you're going be okay now. That they aren't going away, and are very, very real.
Each little, broken laugh chips away at the pieces of their hearts, and your own disbelief that they can't seem to get rid of no matter what they do or say, is just a punch to the gut. You didn't just think that they wouldn't show up, but were fully convinced that they wouldn't even bother with it. That own realization just... hurts more than anything.
Had they really been that awful to you? Had they really caused you so much pain and hurt that you'd not only think of such a thing, but fully believe it? They didn't remember doing anything in particular that would cause you to think that way... but maybe that wasn't the problem. It wasn't what they did to you, but rather what they didn't do, and that's when the pieces finally begin to click.
Of course some don't want to believe it, similar to how some of them in "Not Here" express a brief moment of denial and disbelief themself, but they don't get to experience such a luxury anymore. Not with you here- bleeding, hurt, and crying from both relief and disbelief, because you couldn't believe that they actually showed up.
Even when they do quickly take you to a hospital and get you treated, that image of you is still ingrained into their minds. They can't forget it- how you looked at them and spoke, and just how you treated the whole situation because of how convinced you were.
From here they'll try to rebuild what they can, and all definitely be 100% more protective then they've ever been. The moment you're able to come home (which, you ARE coming home. No if's or but's. You don't get a chance this time.), they're doing everything in their power to not only 'fix' everything, but make sure that you are safe at all possible moments of the day.
It's safe to say that the whole experience traumatized the whole family to a certain degree. Not only with you being kidnapped- but you trying to escape multiple times and almost dying, because you were so convinced that no one would show up to help. (Which, while it was also because you can genuinely handle yourself and did believe you could escape on your own, the Batfam doesn't entirely believe that (and you almost dying doesn't help with that) so they chalk it up to you being desperate, because you 'knew' that no one was coming to save you. Which also may or may not make certain people worse in the process.) So they're already leaning pretty heavy on the yandere tendencies. Which most likely develop over the time you're in the hospital, and into your first week or so staying in the Manor.
Which does lead us to your little addition:
Tumblr media
Which, you are very correct!!!
Our boy Jason, put in very simple terms, doesn't take the situation well. At all.
Seeing you bloodied, bruised, abused, malnourished, and on the brink of death no less- definitely doesn't help with his reaction at all.
Don't get me wrong! All of them react pretty negatively to the situation, and many of them have very strong reactions- Jason in particular just has the worst and strongest one. :]
The moment he sees you, he's immediately reminded of his death. The urge to comfort you is strong, but he just doesn't know what to do- and so he ends up not doing anything until you're in the hospital. Which, leading up to that point, he's checking your pulse as often as he can.
He knows what it's like to be hopeless, and feel that helpless- but to know that you experienced that? To know that you almost died like he did? It ruins him. It fucks him up more than anything else.
From the way you looked at the Batfam- the way you looked at him, and just how utterly relieved you were, despite drowning in your own disbelief- it haunts him. The state they found you in messed him up enough, but all of your questions, and just how you were even trying to reassure yourself that them showing up and saving you was real, fucked him up big time.
Before he knows it, he's hunting down the people who kidnapped you, and wiping out whatever is left of their bloodlines. Not sparing a single person, as they didn't spare you- with their generations leading to your kidnappers being born.
He's making their final moments just as painful as yours would've been. Their agony almost matching his, as he couldn't forget the night they saved you. He refused to. That moment forever engraved into his mind, reminding him of what also was if they were a second too late, and how it made him realize just how much he's fucked up along with everyone else.
While Jason can't exactly just waltz into the Hospital to visit you, since he is still considered dead and everything, he sneaks into your room instead. Trying to give what comfort he can in his own silent, but close way. Holding your hand with a gentleness even foreign to himself, and saying how he's sorry and that he'll make it up to you. Promising every night that he'll make those that made you suffer pay with their lives, and then some. Saying how he won't leave your side ever again, only to be gone by the morning.
He brings what he can as well. Even if it isn't as showy or extravagant as any of the things that Bruce, Damian, Dick and so on are getting you, or as pretty and lively as the flowers that are placed by your bedside. It's just his own little way of trying to make it up to you.
The small, little gifts he gives you are indeed little, and he doesn't give much since he doesn't think that your forgiveness or love can be bought. But he still tries to give something. So he'll give things that can be as little as hair ties or bracelets, to earrings (that totally aren't matching) and a little music box that reminded him of the melodies you've made thus far. It's all just another way of saying that he cares about you, and not only wants to build your relationship but be connected to you somehow.
The earrings, even if you don't wear them but just have them, make him feel closer to you then he can. He hopes that in some little way, that whenever you wind and let that music box play its tune, that you are reminded of him or think of him in some way. That when you wear or even look at the few ties and bracelets he's given you, he comes to mind in some small way, and manages to bring the smallest of smiles on your face.
Jason doesn't yearn to be remembered or seen fondly, but he would like to and deeply appreciate it. Since when he looks at his earnings, he's reminded of you, and the pair he managed to give you. Leaving him unable to fight back the smile that grows on his face.
For the most part, he just generally tries to be more present, hardly leaving you alone unless he has to, and spending every moment he can by your side. Moments that begin to last longer once he finishes his buisness with your kidnappers, and their families. He doesn't push too hard or is super in your face and constantly invading your personal space. He just exists in your presence, and as long as you're around he's got no complaints.
Though he does get extremely protective and possessive. Especially if your sleeping or something, and someone walks in. God have mercy if they need to wake you up, and dare to try without saying anything to Jason first.
Which- all of this boils down to you getting scary dog privileges every night, which turns into an almost 24/7 type of deal when you get discharged from the hospital.
---
Sorry if this is a little all over the place. I wrote it all in one go for the most part and haven't really looked it over, so there's probably some mistakes I didn't catch and missed 😅
Still, I hope that's alright, and as you can see- i really enjoy this idea :]

TW- Yandere Manila!Mikey, Implied murder, Threats of murder, Implied kidnapping, hints of noncon, forced affection, Abuse, Implied stalking in Y, Manipulation, Victim blaming. Affection: How do they show their love and affection? How intense would it get? Manila Mikey, in this timeline, is pretty standoffish. He's not super affectionate besides the occasional kiss or round of sex, he just.. watches you. He'll sit and stare until you start to get chills, he's not the most friendliest or passionate at this point.
Blood: How messy are they willing to get when it comes to their darling? Well, in this timeline, he's already killed his friends, so obviously, he's not against killing for you. I do see the relationship more of a convenience for him, as in, he was probably lonely or you caught his interest. So he's willing to do whatever it takes to keep you safe until he's done with you.
Cruelty: How would they treat their darling once abducted? Would they mock them? He'd be very upfront with you, he may not tell you his intentions at first, but he'd make it known from the get-go that you are too behave and follow his rules. He won't be cruel or mock you and he can be pretty nice- sweet even, when you behave. He mostly leaves you be, sometimes when your asleep, he'll run his fingers through your hair.
Darling: Aside from abduction, would they do anything against their darling’s will? Yes, he would. He truly doesn't care what you want, if he wants sex, you're having sex. If he wants a kiss and you try to move away, he'll grab you by the throat and kiss you, shoving his tongue down your throat. If he wants to hug you and you push at his chest, he's pinning you to him and holding you there until he lets you go.
Exposed: How much of their heart do they bare to their darling? How vulnerable are they when it comes to their darling? Not any really, you have caught him in moments of vulnerability, where he's thinking about his past and the friends he killed, reminiscing about Toman and the fun he had as a child but that was all accidental, he'd never purposely be vulnerable.
Fight: How would they feel if their darling fought back? Don't. Fucking. Try. Mikey, himself, has said he doesn't hit women. I do believe he wouldn't put his hands on you unless he was deep in his dark impulses, but he is much stronger then you, more experienced in fighting, his reaction time is faster, I mean, this man got hit with a steel fucking pipe and took it, like it was nothing. There's no point in fighting or trying too fight, cause you'll lose. 100%.
Game: Is this a game to them? How much would they enjoy watching their darling try to escape? It's not a game, don't treat it like one, cause it will end bad for you. Don't try too escape either, he will catch you and he'll either bring you back and tie you down or he'll kill you, simple as that.
Hell: What would be their darling’s worst experience with them? The first time you, in his words, threw a tantrum. Right off the bat, he makes it known that he won't take any bullshit, no bad behaviour, no back talk, no escape attempts. Nothing. So, when you throw a "tantrum" he wraps his hand around your throat as he holds his gun to your head and stares you down, eyes empty as he flicks off the safety.
Ideals: What kind of future do they have in mind for/with their darling? He doesn't have one, he wants his life to come to an end. With you though, if he's done with you, he'll kill you. But, until then, he'll just go with it and whatever happens, happens.
Jealousy: Do they get jealous? Do they lash out or find a way to cope? So, you're locked away, in his apartment. You're not going anywhere, you won't see anyone, won't talk to anyone but him. There's no one too get jealous of because there's no one but him around you. You're family and friends are gone, you'll never see them again. It's just him.
Kisses: How do they act around or with their darling? As I said, he's pretty standoffish but he can be sweet, rarely. If you've been relatively good for him, he'll let you sit on his lap and lay on his chest as he plays with your hair and nuzzles into your neck leaving the occasional kiss.
Love letters: How would they go about courting or approaching their darling? He doesn't court or approach you, he takes you.
Mask: Are their true colors drastically different from the way they act around everyone else? No, Mikey doesn't beat around the bush, he's very upfront with you and what he expects from you and how you should behave. He sees no point in playing pretend when he has you too himself.
Naughty: How would they punish their darling? Well, depends on what you did. He has different punishments for certain behaviours. If you try too or succeed in escaping, he might break a bone or tie you down. If you refuse too eat, you don't get food for a while. If you act like a brat and give him mouth, he'll bend you over his knee, and this man? He hits hard.
Oppression: How many rights would they take away from their darling? He gives and takes privileges, depending on your behaviour and his mood. Like I said , if you refuse too eat what he gives you, you'll go hungry for a bit. If you try and lock yourself in a room, you're not allowed any privacy. You're taking a piss? Don't care, keep the door open. But if you're good, he'll give you high quality food, buy you the best smelling body washes, give you the prettiest clothes and treat you nice.
Patience: How patient are they with their darling? He can be pretty patient, but again, he doesn't take disrespect from anyone. It doesn't matter that you're starving and you're irritable, you'll need to ask him nicely and behave. He has the mindset that if he lets you get away with one thing, you'll try and get away with multiple things. So, it's best he shuts that shit down immediately.
Quit: If their darling dies, leaves, or successfully escapes, would they ever be able to move on? He would do everything in his power too get you back, no money, resources or manpower is enough. But, if you do successfully get away, however that may be. He wouldn't care at first but then he'd start too miss having someone around and if he really did like you- love even. He'd be very upset.
Regret: Would they ever feel guilty about abducting their darling? Would they ever let their darling go? No and no. He doesn't feel guilty because it's not about you, if he wants you to stay with him, you will stay with him. No amount of pleading and crying will change that.
Stigma: What brought about this side of them (childhood, curiosity, etc)? I'd say, boredom and loneliness. His friends are dead, his family's gone, he has no one. So when he sees you, looking so pretty and sweet, he wants you, and he takes you.
Tears: How do they feel about seeing their darling scream, cry, and/or isolate themselves? You can't isolate yourself, there's no door he can't kick down, quite literally. There's no space he can't get you out of and there's absolutely no place you can hide. Screaming and crying though? Depends on how he feels, he might just sit there and watch you and wait it out, or he'll become very hand's on and make you stop crying and screaming because sometimes, it does piss him off.
Unique: Would they do anything different from the classic yandere? He's not super obsessive or clingy, he's sometimes not even around because of his... job. Also, like I said, he will kill you when he's done with you.
Vice: What weakness can their darling exploit in order to escape? Not many if any, you obviously can't fight him, can't really run from him or hide. So, it'll mostly have to be mental. You could try and play on the little empathy he has left, if you did know his family, you could play on that. Ask him what Draken and Shinichiro would think if they knew what he's done or how his friends would think of him now... but be careful because that could get him too back off or piss him off even more.
Wit’s end: Would they ever hurt their darling? Yes. Yes he would. Especially if you try and challenge his authority, he's very used too people bowing to him, following his every order and looking up to him like a God essentially, so, when you challenge him and test him, he'll lose it.
Xoanon: How much would they revere or worship their darling? To what length would they go to win their darling over? There's no winning you over, you're his whether you like it or not. Worship though? No. You, are supposed to worship him, not the other way around.
Yearn: How long do they pine after their darling before they snap? There's no pining, he does it more on impulse, he would only wait if there's people around and he can't take you away. He doesn't have a problem fighting or killing people but it's so much easier for the both of you if you just come quietly and behave.
Zenith: Would they ever break their darling? If it was necessary? Absolutely, yes he would.

Hii♡ I wanted to request a story with Doctor, Knight, Deathslinger, Oni, and Clown. Where the reader gets a rock thrown at them by another survivor, and it hits them in the head, making them pass out. Thank you in advance ☆
I believe I can do this. I'm going to simplify it a bit so it's a reader who got hurt. Since my limit is three I'm going to pick three of them. I hope you enjoy. Thank you.
When Their Reader S/O Gets Hurt
Deathslinger, Doctor, Knight
Deathslinger
Caleb loves you dearly.
And he'll tell you that everyday.
You're his greatest treasure.
And he wants you to know that you can rely on him.
But he also wants to make sure you aren't overly reliant on him.
Don't get him wrong! He'll always be there for you.
But he doesn't want you to become too dependent.
"What if somethin' were ta happen and I wasn't around darlin'?"
He wants to know that you're able to fend for yourself if need be.
So, if you fall and get hurt don't expect them to run up to you and coddle you.
Unless you're seriously injured, Caleb expects self-dependency from you.
You're an adult, you know how to take care of yourself.
He can't see himself with someone who's overly needy or overdramatic.
The table is completely turn if somebody is hurting you though.
If it's someone he thinks you can handle by yourself, he'll stand back but be on guard.
Heck, he'll be super proud if you knock that person out.
"He's all bark and no bite. Ya show em' darlin'"
Full on cheering you on from the sidelines.
If it's someone he knows for a fact you can't handle, he'll step in.
Caleb's a smart man, he knows you can't take on someone like Micheal or Kazan on your own.
He has his spear gun pointed in their face the moment they lay a hand on you.
"Ya think about this. Ya lay a hand on them and I'll shoot this here gun so far down your throat you won't know what hit ya."
"Now get."
He can be very intimidating when he wants to be.
And he wants to be intimidating for you. Because he would never want anything to happen to you.
Doctor
Herman can be detached from situations at times.
Very rarely is he out with you.
He spends the majority of his time in his lab or in trials.
He never considered the possibility of someone hurting you.
One, because he's too busy with his latest experiment or torture.
Two, because he sees you as such a nice and wholesome person that hurting you is out of the question.
Anyone who's willing to love him is either insane or an angel.
And he knows you're not insane. He's tested it.
So when you came to his lab all beat up, he was beyond shocked.
Like, at a loss for words shocked.
He's not crying, but it almost looks like he might.
He feels incredibly guilty and stupid for not being there for you.
And for thinking the beasts of the realm would be able to appreciate someone like you.
This will send him into an unbelievable spiral of rage.
Sparks will literally be radiating off of him because he is so angry.
He'll patch you up the best he can, then leave without another word.
Herman will be back in about an hour or so with said person who hurt you.
Well, at least with their head and maybe several other limbs.
He won't tell you what he did. Just assuming isn't pleasant.
He will give you the head as a get well soon gift, because he thinks that makes everything better.
He might be a genius but he has the emotional intelligence of a goldfish.
But you can't deny the gesture (albeit gruesome) is sweet.
And he'd only do it for you.
Knight
He's the complete opposite of the others.
He will be doting on you like royalty.
Because, to him, you are.
You're Tarhos' sweet prince/princess.
And you will be treated as such.
He frequently calls you my lord/lady.
It doesn't matter if you're actually royalty or not. He's intent on making you feel as if you were.
Did you fall and get hurt?
"Foolish prince/princess."
He laughing.
But he is concerned.
"Shall I carry you?"
Even if you say no, he's going to pick you up.
"What is a knight if he cannot protect his lord/lady?"
"Allow me."
It's almost smothering.
If you want to take care of things yourself, you'll really have to prime him for that.
He isn't used to not serving someone.
Someone laid a hand on you?
How dare they!
"They shall pay for their insolence."
He may seem cold and callous at times.
But he's extremely protective over what is his.
And you're his.
And no one dares mess with what is his.
"I shall avenge you. I shall not allow those heathens to dishonor you and your name."
If you tell him it's not worth it he'll dismiss your claims.
"Nonsense. Anyone who is foolish enough to lay a hand on you must be punished severely."
If you keep telling him no he'll stay.
But you best believe his men are on that person when your back is turned.
And that person will never mess with you again.
Tarhos will see to it.

Tara Carpenter x Male Reader
Request - could you do a male deadpool reader in scream. in the scene where Dewey dies, reader is also ‘killed’. reader groans and gets up
Tumblr media
You are sitting in the middle between Sam and Tara. Mindy is talking about the rules of horror films and who not to trust etc. But you are not paying attention to Mindy, because you are staring at your girlfriend. You break the fourth wall…
“You see the girl next to me? Well, that is the love of my life, Tara Carpenter. If anyone hurt my beautiful girlfriend well they won't won't wake up from their nap. I don't care what her friend Mindy is talking about” You smiled.
Then you feel everyone is looking at you.
“What!?” You said.
“Are you even paying attention, Y/n?” Chad asked.
“I am” You lied.
“Never trust the love interests,” Mindy said.
“That seems unfair and a dumb rule,” You said.
“I don't make the rules, Y/n,” Mindy said.
“Yeah, a good reason not to trust, Y/n,” Amber said.
Mindy rolled her eyes then you broke the fourth wall…
“I don't like Amber and she is a hater. Mindy sure does know a lot of rules from horror films. But I will protect Tara” You smiled.
You go back to listening to Mindy talk about why the new Ghostface is back.
——-
You are alone with Tara in the apartment. You are lying on her bed and you are kissing her on the lips.
“Y/n, I trust you,” Tara said.
“I know” You said.
“Yeah. But I can't let Sam or the others know that you are my boyfriend” Tara said.
“Why?” You asked.
“They think you are very weird but I like that about you” Tara smiled.
You kiss her on the lips and she starts to smile.
Amber opened the door and you fell on the floor.
“Why are you on the floor?” Amber asked.
“I dropped my phone” You lied.
“He is always dropping his phone. What’s up?” Tara said.
“Your sister called and she is coming over,” Amber said.
“Okay, cool,” Tara said.
Later, you go to the bathroom, and you come out. Then Amber pushed you against the wall and she glared at you.
“Hurt Tara and I will come after you, Y/n,” Amber said.
“I’m not scared of you and we are not dating,” You said.
“I don’t like you so stay away from her, freak,” Amber said.
“I don't like you either,” You said.
She walks away and you glare at her. You pretend your hand as a gun and you aimed at her back.
“Phew. Bitch” You whispered.
Much Later, Chad, Mindy, and Sam arrived at the apartment. It's game night and Sam starts to ask questions about you.
“Why are you here, Y/n?” Sam asked.
Before you can answer Tara starts to speak.
“He needed help with homework and I gave him my notes, then I asked him to stay,” Tara said.
Sam looks at you up and down. You turned your head to the screen…
“I don't know why she doesn't trust me. But she will love me soon and she will let me marry her sister, the love of my life. I won't get tired of saying saying that. I mean just look at her… she is smart and beautiful, and her lips. Oh my god! Okay, okay, I'm getting distracted. Focus, Y/n, and scene!” You said.
But you are not sitting next to Tara. Chad and Amber are sitting next to your girlfriend.
Later, Tara went to the kitchen and you are helping her. You reach the plates from the top shelf then Chad walks in. He starts to flirt with Tara and you glare at him. You look at the screen…
“I don't like him flirting with my girlfriend. But I'm going to ruin his shot” You said.
You put your arms around their shoulders.
“So, I was thinking the three of us could hang out and check out their new burger place. They have a food challenge, where three friends eat the biggest burger and get a huge prize. Should we do it!?” You grinned.
Chad is mad that you ruined the moment between him and Tara. You notice his glare and you keep smiling.
“I will pass. Take your arm off me” Chad said.
You put your arms down and your idea worked. Chad left the kitchen and Tara figured out what you did.
✫ ✯ ✯ ✫
You are at the hospital to see Tara. But you and Tara started to hear noises, you went to check it out.
“It's Ghostface,” You said.
“What!?” Tara said.
“Listen to me, I will protect you. But I need you to hide first and don't make any noise” You said.
You help Tara get out of bed. You look at the screen…
“Someone hurt my beautiful girlfriend. And I'm going to make them pay!” You said angrily.
You helped Tara hide in the bathroom and you pressed your finger onto your lips. You close the door then Ghostface walks in and you walk toward Ghostface.
“It’s ruined you didn't knock,” You said.
“I’m going to enjoy killing you,” Ghostface said.
“I think first you should buy dinner-”
“Shut up, you freak!” Ghostface yelled.
You figured it out. The only person that calls you a freak is Amber. Every time she got a chance she would call you a ‘freak’. She runs towards you and you punched her in the face. But she didn't fall, but she managed to stab you in the stomach and she pushed the dagger deep into your stomach. Tara watched everything and she started to cry and you started to cough up blood.
“You whore!” You said.
She pushed you onto the floor and you started to bleed out. Ghostface left and Tara ran toward you but Sam arrived too late. She got Tara to leave the hospital and she started to drive.
Your body starts to heal and you struggle to sit up. You start to breathe hard and you don't see Tara.
“I’m coming, Tara,” You said.
You struggle to get up and you leave the room. In the hallway, you see Dewey on the floor and you run towards him.
“Oh, No Dewey, I will kill those *bleeping* *bleeping*, wait why am I bleeping?” You yelled.
You start to look around and you turn the swear button off. You go back into position…
“Let’s try this again, oh No Dewey I will kill those motherfucking fuckers for killing you, let's go make Them chimichangas!” You said.
You took his gun and added more bullets. Sam starts to drive and wants to take Tara out of town.
“We have to go back to the house, I don't have my inhaler,” Tara said.
“Can’t you get another one?” Sam asked.
“No. Just drive back and I will be quick” Tara said.
“Fine,” Sam said.
——
You drive to the house but you sneak into the backdoor. You are in the kitchen and you grab a knife and put it in your back pocket. You hear Amber yelling and you run out of the kitchen with the gun out.
“Y/n!” Tara yelled.
“It’s Amber that bitch is the killer!” You yelled.
She takes off the mask and everyone is in shock. Amber has a gun and she shot you in the chest.
“No idea how you survived in the hospital,” Amber said.
She shot you four times in the chest and you fell. Tara starts to cry and Amber is just smiling.
“I always hated that freak. Tara, your boyfriend is an idiot and really weird” Amber said.
You sit up and everyone is in shock.
“You fucking bitch, this is my favorite hoodie!” You yelled.
“But how!?” Sam and Amber said in sync.
You stand up take out the gun and aim it at her.
We can swear? fuck yes!” Tara said.
“So fuck you very much Amber, and bye!” You said.
You pulled the trigger and the bullet went through Amber’s head. Then you smelled your gun
“Oh, that felt great” You smirked.
“But how are you alive?” Sam asked.
Richie ran towards you screaming then you took out the knife. You spears him like a kebab. Then you look at the screen…
“Turn around kiddos, he is about to be in half,” You said.
You take out the knife from his jaw, then you start to stab him in the chest and stomach. The wounds are deep and he bleeds out in seconds.
“That was oddly hot,” Tara said.
“Woo! 2-1 to me” You cheered.
Tara went up to you and she started to kiss you.
“When my injuries are healed you’re mine,” Tara said.
“Fuck yeah, 3-1” You smiled.
✫ ✯ ✯ ✫
Tara has healed and so has you. You are in her bedroom, kissing her then she pushes down to the bed. You quickly take off your shirt. She gets on top of you and takes off her shirt and you see her black bra and you can't stop smiling.
“Wait, how come you heal?” Tara asked.
“It’s a long story. I didn't tell you because I didn't you to think I'm a freak” You said.
“I wouldn't have thought you were a freak,” Tara said.
You and Tara smile at each other.

i dunno if you care about my gushing about leon being infected but.
god the remake made it so much hotter and i don’t see anyone talk about it and i don’t know how they don’t! i personally can’t stop thinking about it and i need infected/normal leon carnally.
:) my time to revive plagas leon has come.
(cws: gn! reader, plagas!leon + a lil yandere, post-canon divergence, needles, drugging, nc groping/kissing under the influence, leon has dirty thoughts, biting, blood, reader gets tied up)
Tumblr media
Normal Leon is flirty, playful, maybe a little bit saucy at times if the mood is right. Plagas!Leon is a complete and utter menace, and possibly the most perverse thing you've ever encountered.
At the very least, he's not a complete puppet for Saddler's machinations. He has moments of clarity here and there, but they make way for a deep, unconscionable shift in personality when his mind finally accepts that his body is no longer the same. It's difficult to deal with, you can imagine--or you could, if Leon wasn't relentlessly tracking you down and hellbent on not letting you leave the village.
Could he try to talk to you? He could, if you would listen. But every time he faces you with those piercing carmine eyes, you start backing away, and that pretty face twists in fear and disgust at what he's become. Every time you shoot at him, you try to reconcile it as putting down the monster in him and not putting down Leon. But your sweet, gentle conscience can't accept that there's no difference anymore. This is all him, good, bad, and ugly.
Oh, but you're still so cute. You're so mad at him for the way he is, you throw things at him and grab Ashley's wrist to hurry her away when he comes walking up. He was angry when you managed to slip out of his grasp despite feeling that urge to kill you rising, but when Saddler was finally taken out, Leon felt his free will return and realized he had the chance to make his own fate.
And that's why he's waited. He waited day, after day, after day for you, having had to watch you leave with Ashley and Luis in tow and replaying that scene in his mind a thousand times over. The island is gone now, but the rest of the area needs tending to. He spends his lonely days ridding the castle of pests, disposing of bodies, clearing the village away and getting rid of any remnants of Los Iluminados. They don't belong here anymore because they couldn't leave anyways, and since he can't either, he has to cull the ones who might get in the way of your arrival.
Because he knows you. He knows you're certain of his abilities, but even if there was a shadow of doubt about his survival, you won't be sleeping well wondering whether Leon is still alive. If he can be saved, or if he just needs to be put down properly. He doesn't much care where your reasoning lies, so long as you do what he's sure you will and return to the village to find closure.
It barely takes any time at all--in less than a month, you're standing at the edge of the village by a newly-repaired bridge, a local police car parked anxiously by the entrance for fear of what lies ahead. You've got your gun, a map scribbled out from memory, and his jacket over your shoulders. Adorable. You missed him.
There's really nothing to fear, but he won't let you get much further than that village. There are a few Ganados stationed there as plants to relay information to him, but aside from feeding your fury as you take them out they really don't serve much purpose. Leon can feel you here, your feet hitting the ground as you run and the breath burning your lungs as you hurry away from the mob, booking it straight for the castle gate.
How sweet of you to visit him at home. He can't help but stalk you for a bit, watching you wander about the immense palace and search for clues, flip through his notes and break down into tears when you realize he's still alive. You have so much hope, and it's all stored in that little bottle of pills and a needle filled with sedative.
It all falls away when you neglect to notice the latter missing from your belt, only to thrash and scratch wildly at his arm when he comes up from behind to restrain you. A little pinch in the neck, a choked up sigh, and you collapse so limply in his arms like a doll.
Oh, he missed you. It's so much easier to kiss you when you're unconscious, you don't run away or shove him or shout at him that he's a monster. He wants to kiss you in other places, but...not now. He can be gentle and intimate with you like that later. You barely even flinch, you don't even kick at him when he gropes your thigh and brings his mouth to it to bite down. You taste so sweet, he just wanted a bit of your blood to satisfy the craving--he won't make it a habit, that is unless it ends up turning you on when he does it in bed like he's planning to.
And he is planning. You have a future together but it doesn't include anyone else--he's been given an escape from that depressing life he never wanted, but he's not finding a new one without you, the only good thing he's got in this world. Even if he's got to tie you up so you don't attack him the moment you wake from your stupor.
"Let me go! I'll kill you!"
You don't mean that, sweet thing. You're just tired, and scared, and you missed him. That's why you came back--not a force on earth could've made him revisit the site of Raccoon City after what happened there, but you came all the way back and threw yourself into danger for him, even knowing all that you know. The rest of this ugly world isn't worthy of you.
"I'll fucking shoot your brains out for taking him away from me!"
So feisty and cute. Is he really the one that's obsessed? Because watching you cry in desperation and struggle against your bindings is pretty telling, especially since you stop the moment his cool hand touches your chin. You know what he is, and yet you still look up at him like he's the same he always was.
"L-Leon, if you're still in there, I can get you out. There's a facility in Arklay that agreed to help--you can come home!"
It's a shame you're so hopeful. You even grace him with a relieved smile when he backs off, his brow softened at the sight of you practically begging for him. But it's in that darling, naïve way that shows you have no idea you're already being dragged down with him. And you'll only see that once his hand hovers over your lap, and he gently peels back the jagged fabric you thought might've ripped on your way over a fence, or maybe in one of the many struggles against the villagers for your life.
But you understand, he thinks you do, when you finally follow his eyes and peer down at the exposed skin. The bite mark still glistens with blood and saliva from where he sucked hungrily at the wound, but webbing out beneath your skin around the site are thin, black trails that move along your flesh like veins. And they grow as the seconds pass, spreading out deeper within your body as the infection begins its process.
You look up at him so frightened, and yet so angry, that he can't help but kiss you then. You don't have unbound arms to beat at his chest, or breath in your lungs to scream or cry at him for what he's done to you. His tongue swallows all those muffled curses up, sliding wetly between your lips to taste that effervescent warmth he knows you won't lose in your transformation. You're simply too radiant to become as cold as he is, although he's sure it'll add an exciting thrill to the sensations you'll share when you let those locked desires of yours flood out of you. Who knows, you might get so enthusiastic about your newfound power that you don't let him leave the bedroom for days--Leon would certainly welcome that after all this wretched time apart.
"Just get some rest, sweetheart." He whispers barely a hair's length from your mouth, tongue flicking out to trace your bottom lip and indulge in a delightful shiver up your body. "Let Las Plagas give you strength, and I'll show you how to handle the power. And...welcome home, darling."

Chapter 14 of Human Bill Is A Prisoner And Only Mabel Is Being Nice To Him (real title TBD), and the conclusion of the first big plot arc:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Also featuring: what Pacifica has been up to the past year! Dipper and Mabel arguing about Bill! The hand witch, briefly! Funny pranks that Ford does not think are funny! And other things.
####
Dipper and Mabel waved goodbye as they left the Hand Witch's cave. The witch, her boyfriend, and Mabel's spare right hand on the witch's shoulder waved back.
"Thanks for helping us out on such short notice," Dipper said.
"Oh, any time!" the witch said. "Come back whenever you like! I'll make tea and snacks again."
"Girl, you know I'm always up for more of your..." Mabel flashed the witch a pair of finger guns and a wink, "... finger food!"
Her spare hand made a finger gun back. The witch laughed so hard she wheezed. Her boyfriend leaned down to pat her back.
As Mabel and Dipper wove their way down the Hand Witch's mountain, Mabel said, "It's good to see she's found a relationship. She seems happy! And less desperate."
"I dunno, I'm kind of worried about that guy. What if he's just using her to learn her handomancy secrets?"
"Naaah, I'm not worried about him. He's a really bad apprentice. I think he's just letting her train him as a bonding activity. Like when girls let their boyfriends explain football so they can watch games together." Mabel turned to peer at the dark cave above. "Do you think Alehandra will be lonely without me?"
"Wh—you already named it?"
"Hands come in pairs, Dipper. Maybe she'd like a twin sister." She looked at Dipper's hands. "Or brother."
"Oh no. Uh-uh, I can see where this is going. We've already gotten in enough trouble with that stuff."
Mabel's phone buzzed. They must have gotten near enough town to get reception again. She pulled out her phone, saw a text from Soos, and swiped it open. "Mabel, this is Ford..."
"Speaking of growing extra hands," Dipper said. "Mabel... I think this whole thing is a bad idea. I mean—worse than it was originally. Getting Bill magic hair growth formula is one thing, but, growing extra limbs? I don't know what he could do with that, but he could do something."
Mabel's thumbs hovered over the screen, paralyzed as she tried to figure out what to tell Ford and Dipper at the same time.
The truth was, she'd had the same worry as Dipper. She lowered her phone. "Yeah, okay, maybe he could possibly do something with it hypothetically—but clearly the whole reason he asked for it was for the hair growth part! Because he's bald. So maybe he just... doesn't care about the rest? If we get only enough Hairy Fairy to regrow his hair and use it all up, then he won't have a chance to use it for anything evil, right?"
"Unless he's not even interested in regrowing his hair." Dipper pulled off his backpack and rummaging through it until he found the advertisement Ford had given him. "Look, everything in this ad lines up with what Bill told us about Hairy Fairy's history. If he knew that much, he definitely could know it can grow extra limbs. He might have even known it was coming back on the market before he saw the commercial! What if the only reason he burned off his hair was to manipulate us into getting this formula?"
"What would he do with a bunch of extra body parts?" Mabel asked. "He's clumsy enough with the ones he already has. I kinda think more would make him weaker."
"I don't know, but—I didn't know what he wanted a 'puppet' for, either, and see how that turned out?"
Mabel bit her lip, looking at Dipper's face—and then looked down at her phone, rereading the last sentence of Ford's text. "I'm worried he might be up to something nefarious."
She couldn't have this conversation in two places at once. She typed a quick reply to Ford—"It's too complicated to explain in text! I'll tell you when Dipper and I get home. (It's NOT dangerous, don't worry!) ❤️"—and stuffed her phone in her pocket. "Okay," she said. "Look. Sure, it makes sense to be extra paranoid with Bill—especially when we saw him finish his big master plan last summer—but honestly? I kinda don't think he's that good. Think about how many times Grunkle Ford says he tried and failed to get into our universe! I don't think he's a big alien super-genius with a careful zillion-year plan; I think he's just some guy that needed to try a zillion years just to get one plan to work. And that's... kind of lame. What can a guy like that do with hair formula?"
Dipper absorbed that. "Wow. Yeah, actually, when you put it that way, that—that isn't very impressive." He grimaced. "But—okay, even if he didn't have a complicated escape plan, what if he saw the hair formula and thought of one that he needs extra arms for—?"
"Dipper, we can 'but what if' Bill forever!" She flung out her hands in frustration. "If we second-guess everything he says, we'll start wondering stuff like 'what if he wants us to distrust him so he can reverse-psychology us into doing the thing he actually wants?' It'll drive us crazy! And letting Bill drive us crazy won't make us safer! We can't spend another summer being paranoid about Evil Bill Tricks!"
"Okay yeah, you have a point, but—why is the solution 'do what he wants'? Why isn't it 'tell him no, and cover our ears whenever he tries to say he wants something so we don't even know what he wants and he can't manipulate us'?"
Mabel's mind flashed back to the sad ghost under the zodiac blanket, huddled in a dusty corner. She looked at her feet and kicked a clump of grass self-consciously. "Because... he's sad and it's making me sad."
Dipper groaned. "Mabel."
"I know—"
"Mabel, he could be acting sad on purpose—"
"I know he could, I know, I KNOW!" Mabel let out all her accumulated Bill-induced frustration in a scream that startled several birds out of a nearby tree. She jumped furiously on the clump of grass. "He probably thinks I'm a big soft sucker! He's the worst and I hate him so much!"
"YES!" Dipper aimed a kick at the grass clump. "He's the worst ever! It's his fault we're even having this argument!"
"This summer was supposed to be different!"
"No apocalypses, no murder attempts, and no demon triangles!"
"No triangles at ALL! I don't even like geometry!"
When they'd collaboratively destroyed the grass clump, they fell silent, breathing heavily, staring at the upturned dirt. "I needed that," Mabel said. After a moment, she knelt down and tried to set the mangled grass back upright. The grass did nothing to deserve this.
Dipper leaned against a tree. "So. Are we giving up on the hair stuff?"
Mabel carefully patted a mound of dirt around what was left of the base of the grass. "I... still wanna go through with it."
Dipper had used up all his frustration on the grass. He sighed. "If you're gonna get that stuff for Bill no matter what I say, then... why are you trying to talk me into it?"
"Because I'm not going to do it. Not unless you agree."
"You... what?"
"Dipper, I feel like this is the right thing to do—but that's why I need to know what you think. The last time we didn't talk things out, the world almost ended! We always make better decisions together than we do apart. If I can't say anything that makes you think it's worth the risk, then—I'll give up. I'll tell Bill we couldn't get the stuff, and offer to get him a discount wig after Summerween, and... that's it." Mabel shrugged. "I'm scared too. I keep wondering stuff like 'what if he gives himself leg stilts and climbs out the chimney? What if he grows seven fingers and can finally overpower Ford?' But that's stupid."
She looked up at Dipper. "I want to make sure that if we give up, it's because there really is a danger. I don't want to refuse to help somebody suffering just because we're scared of him."
Dipper slid down to sit on the grass and watch Mabel give the grass clump first aid. Once Mabel was satisfied enough to sit back and wipe her hands off on her skirt, Dipper said, "Yeah. I am scared of him. He's tricked me with some misleading wording before, and I don't want it to happen again. I want to say I'm just being logical, but... right now, maybe I'm doing more feeling than thinking, too." He shrugged. "The truth is, I can't think of anything he could do with the hair growth formula that isn't so ridiculous, even I don't believe it's possible."
Mabel nodded. "Are you scared enough to say 'no'? If you are, we'll quit."
"No, I'm not." Dipper heaved a sigh. "I guess... let's do it. But I want to be as careful as possible. We'll get just barely enough to regrow his hair, one of us will apply the formula so he can't misuse it—"
"I can do that," Mabel said. "I've already slathered like a whole bucket of yellow paint on his face."
"Okay. And I'll watch the whole time as backup, in case he tries anything."
"Barty can watch from the vents as the backup-backup, too!"
"Good idea."
"Boom! Flawless plan!" Mabel grinned. "Now let's go see Pacifica!"
####
The address Pacifica had given them led to a small fenced-in pasture outside town.
Over the main gate was a sign that read "Platinum Alpaca Estates".
In the pasture, a half dozen pink-collar-wearing alpacas placidly grazed.
And standing in front of it all—wearing immaculately tailored lavender overalls, a set of white rhinestone-studded boots and cowboy hat, and a nervous smile—was Pacifica.
Dipper and Mabel gaped.
Dipper said, "What the— What is—"
"Pacifica what."
Pacifica held up her hands. "Okay wait, just let me explain! After my family lost our mansion last year, I could only keep one horse? Which was devastating! I needed to fill the void of hoofed mammals in my life somehow."
Mabel leaned over the fence. "So you got alpacas?"
"I was actually inspired by the llama sweater you gave me." Pacifica gave Mabel a small, crooked smile. "It reminded me that I've always secretly thought alpacas are cute, and I really like alpaca wool goods, so I thought... you know... what if I try it out?" She opened the gate, gesturing for the twins to follow her toward a small barn. "And I actually really love it! These are like, my babies. And I'm talking with some fashion brands about maybe selling them some luxury wool?"
She led them into the barn, and then into a small office being cooled by a window A/C unit. Several wool garments, protected in glass cases, were proudly displayed on the walls with labels underneath: "First Sweater", "First Scarf", "First Blanket"—
"Hey!" Mabel pointed at the familiar blanket, creamy white with the anti-Bill zodiac in ochre yellow. "That's the one I made! Did the yarn you sent me to make it come from your alpacas?"
"It did! You're the first person to make anything with their wool."
"Whoa."
"I actually want to use my symbol from the circle as our brand. I'm waiting to hear from my copyright lawyer about who I need to talk to for the rights to the image—if it's you or your great-uncle, or if it's still with the tribe that left the valley like a thousand years ago, or if it's public domain," Pacifica said. "It's a vague enough shape, I think it could look like either a llama or an alpaca, right?"
Mabel considered what Bill had said about Pacifica's symbol, considered the small alpaca herd visible through the office window, and said, "I have it on good authority that it's supposed to be an alpaca."
"So, wait," Dipper said. "What does this have to do with your modeling job?"
"The ranch isn't turning a profit yet. I'm still in talks with the brands that want our wool, and in the meantime I've got to hire more people to help. I don't know the hard stuff about taking care of alpacas, I just kind of brush their wool and make friends with them while my employees do the hard stuff."
Dipper snorted.
"Hey! I'm learning! But I've only been doing this a few months." Pacifica sank down into her desk chair, propping her chin in her hands. "Almost all my allowance and side gig income is going toward my alpacas. My parents don't want to invest in my startup!" She pouted. "They said if I want to act like a rancher instead of a socialite, it'll be on my own dime."
"So that's why you're working two summer jobs?" Dipper said. "Oh, man. I should have known something was up. I thought it was weird when you said your parents wouldn't pay for a spring and summer wardrobe."
"Yeah, I spent my spring wardrobe budget on this barn," Pacifica said. "I figure I'm investing in my future wardrobe, you know?"
Mabel planted her hands on Pacifica's desk. "Pacifica, I can see how important this is. I've run a business myself—I appreciate the pressure you're under. But, how about this: we could help each other! If you get us a tiiiny bit of that formula, I'll come over once a week for the rest of summer to help out with your alpacas. For free!"
Pacifica blinked. "What?"
"And that way, even if you do get in trouble and lose your Hairy Fairy job, you'll still have someone to help you out!"
Dipper's eyes widened. "Um—Pacifica, could you give us a moment?" He grabbed Mabel's elbow and tugged her out of the office.
"What is it?"
Dipper whispered, "Are you sure you wanna make that kind of commitment for the rest of summer? For Bill's sake?"
"Dipperrr, it's like working in a petting zoo!" She gestured toward the office window. "Look at how soft they are!"
"Oh, boy."
"And maybe I could get some luxury alpaca wool! I'm gonna have the fanciest sweaters."
Dipper grimaced, but decided Mabel would probably have looked for an excuse to spend time around the alpacas regardless of the situation. "Okay. Have at her." He nodded back toward the office.
When Mabel and Dipper came back in, Pacifica was sitting up straighter, hands laced on her desk, a miniature businesswoman entertaining a business proposal. "I appreciate the offer," Pacifica said. "But I don't think a few hours of labor a week balance out the profits I could make at my modeling job. It just doesn't make financial sense. I'm sorry, Mabel. I've got to think of my alpacas."
"I understand. But—I've got to think of my not-friend. If you could just see..." She trailed off as a thought occurred to her. "Dipper! Let me get in your backpack."
"Um, okay—?"
Mabel rummaged around in the main pouch. "I'm sure we left it... Ha!" She slapped down a ziplock bag containing the lock of Bill's hair that they'd collected to make his poppet. "This... is the person I'm trying to help." She crossed her arms triumphantly. "Okay, not the person, but it's his hair anyway."
Pacifica's brows shot up. "Oh, wow." She opened the bag and carefully extracted a few strands to examine. "This is the most golden golden hair I've ever seen. And look at it. Little oily, could use a good conditioner, damaged roots, but otherwise amazing health, no split ends..." Pacifica looked at Mabel, pointed at the baggie, and asked, "Virgin?"
Mabel laughed nervously. "I have no idea and I never ever want to find out."
"No! I mean is this the natural color and texture, or has it been treated?"
"Oh. I'm pretty sure it just came like that?" She looked at Dipper.
Dipper shrugged. "I mean, probably? I doubt he hit up a salon before coming to the Mystery Shack."
"And... you say he had a bad haircut?" Pacifica asked. "What does he look like now?"
Gently, Mabel said, "Bald."
Pacifica let out the softest gasp. "Okay. I get it. I'll help. And also send over a couple of conditioner samplers, because whoever your friend is, he has not been taking care of his hair lately. Natural beauty can only carry him so far. I'll have the conditioners overnighted to your shack."
"Great!" A wide smile broke out across Mabel's face. "Thank you so much, Pacifica! And the formula, too?"
"Actually, I can give you that right now." Pacifica pulled a small green Hairy Fairy bottle from one of her overall pockets.
Mabel gasped in delight. Dipper said, "Wait, you had that the whole time?"
"When we escaped the country club, I accidentally still had the bottle we'd used for the live demonstration in my pocket," Pacifica said. "I was going to replace it tomorrow morning before anyone goes looking for it; I'll just give you guys a few drops and make up the difference with a little alpaca shampoo. Hopefully, nobody will notice the difference."
Mabel said, "Pacifica, you're the best!"
"I know." Pacifica leaned across the desk to put a hand on Mabel's shoulder. "Just promise me one thing."
"Sure! What?"
"I won't be able to do this a second time," Pacifica said. "So you'd better make sure your friend takes care of his hair."
####
Bill squinted at the chocolate chip-sized dollop of lotion at the bottom of the quart-sized plastic food container. "Gotta hand it to you, Shooting Star. This is the funniest way you could have transported the formula."
"We forgot to bring anything to put it in." Mabel snapped on a pair of yellow dish gloves and pointed at the kitchen floor. "Okay! Sit down so I can reach and let me work my magic."
"What, don't think I can handle it myself?" But he sat down even as he protested. He'd already removed his cardboard triangle helmet—which now sat, battered and bent, on the kitchen table—and had washed off his paint/makeup as well as he could without requesting shower access.
Mabels scooped the dollop of lotion onto one gloved finger, then massaged it across her fingertips. "I'm your official makeup artist now! I've gotta do it. Besides, you missed a chunk of hair when you were removing it, you'd probably miss a chunk when you were putting it back on."
"Eh, fair enough. Okay kid, do your worst."
As Mabel coated Bill's scalp, the chemical burns he'd given himself while removing his hair vanished, replaced with new healthy skin—and Dipper quietly lamented, once again, that this stuff was being marketed to grow hair and not regrow limbs. He'd have to document it thoroughly in his journal later.
Dipper was sitting at the bottom of the attic stairs, watching the proceedings in the kitchen, armed with Mabel's grappling gun to use as a projectile weapon if Bill dared try anything. But Bill just sat there, legs crossed with his feet on his thighs and his hands palm-up on his knees like he was meditating, not even turning his head as Mabel worked.
Mabel jerked her hands back in surprise as a fresh layer of golden hair sprang out of Bill's scalp—then quickly reached in again, massaging the lotion into all the strands and coaxing them out until they were all around shoulder length, the same as they'd started. "There! Ta-da! Good as new!"
As the hair crawled down Bill's temples, tickled his ears, brushed his cheeks, he squeezed his eyes shut as tight as he could and clenched his jaw, straining hard to keep from moving. His open hands curled into fists. Dipper raised the grappling hook. But when Bill turned to face Mabel, he was all grins again, and if Dipper hadn't known to look for it he wouldn't have noticed the anxious tic in Bill's eyebrow. "Well? How do I look?"
"Gorgeous! If the real Goldilocks saw you, she'd have to change her name in shame."
"Ha! That's what I like to hear!" Bill un-pretzeled his legs and stood up. "And you did it without giving me any spare eyebrows, too." So he did know about the side-effects.
"Oh, pfff, yeah, I'm not lowering my guard around that stuff again. The first time I opened a bottle, I got some on me and grew an extra hand!"
"No! Really?" Bill gave Mabel's gloved hands a skeptical look. "Where's it now?"
"I donated it to the Hand Witch."
"Ahh, pity. You could've had some fun with your temporary crown."
"'Crown'?"
"Most fingers in the household?"
Mabel's eyes bugged out, and then a manic smile took over her face, as if her brain had just been flooded with more glee than her face could process. She yanked off the gloves, hastily rubbed them on her left wrist, and shouted, "GRUNKLE FOOORD!" She sprinted through the entryway and took the turn down the hallway so fast she ran a couple steps up on the wall before landing back on the floor. "Grunkle Ford, guess what!"
Dipper almost followed her—until he caught Bill moving in the corner of his eye, bending down to pick up the discarded gloves. Dipper raised the grappling hook. What was Bill planning to do with them—use the remainder to mutate himself? Save them to use later? Eat them—?
Bill dropped the gloves in the plastic container the lotion had come in, sealed the lid, and dropped them in the kitchen waste bin. Under his breath, he muttered, "The last thing I need is the pig sniffing this and growing an extra snout." He paused. "Wait. That would be funny."
From the other side of the house, Ford's voice bellowed, "BILL!"
Bill's head snapped around to face the kitchen doorway—and for the first time he glanced at Dipper sitting on the stairs. "Hey. What do you bet he didn't even let Mabel explain before deciding this is my fault?"
"Uh..."
Mabel and Ford's approach could be tracked through Mabel's hasty explanation: "Grunkle Ford, it's just a prank! I'm okay, see? I'm gonna donate Mirhanda to the Hand Witch, it'll be fine—"
The moment Ford saw Bill, he made a beeline for him and seized him by his t-shirt collar. "What did you do to her?! Answer me, Cipher!"
"I didn't! I'm innocent! I plea the fifth! I've been falsely accused! I was framed! Mercy!" The sincerity of his pleas was somewhat undermined by the fact that he couldn't stop laughing the whole time Ford was trying to menace him. His too-wide gleeful smile looked a lot like Mabel's.
####
"Okay, Pacifica," the director said. "This commercial is for the teen market, so we want you to talk to the camera like you're talking to your peers, all right? And by that, I don't mean your real peers. I mean the slightly less rich girls who would do anything you asked to be considered one of your peers."
"Don't worry, I've got this," Pacifica said. She positioned herself on her stool, hands laced over her knees, and said, "Ready when you are."
"And... action!"
Pacifica gave the camera her best haughty-but-not-too-haughty look, the one that said maybe if you say something interesting to me I'll double your social standing for fun, and launched into her memorized lines: "Hey, I'm Pacifica Northwest—you all know me, most of you probably want to be me. Listen, girls: have you ever tried to go short and it just didn't work out? Maybe that pixie cut makes your ears look weird, maybe those bangs are not for you. If you wish you looked as great as me, I have just the thing for you..."
Everything continued as normal, until Harry's Hairy Fairy Formula was applied to her hair... and nothing happened. Pacifica stumbled over a word, and then kept going, as if maybe no one would notice if she didn't draw attention to it. As she was wrapping up her monologue, her hair finally... slowly started growing... and stopped at half its usual length. Pacifica bit her lip.
"Pacifica!"
She winced and turned toward her boss, feigning a look of innocent surprise. "Yes, Mr. Haroldson?"
"What did you put in your hair! You know you're not supposed to have any product in your hair on shoot days!"
"Nothinggg! I've been following my hair care instructions perfectly! And I had it rinsed just before the shoot like always!"
"Well—what's the problem, then?" Mr. Haroldson turned to the hazmat-suited hairdresser holding the formula bottle.
"I don't know." He took off his mask. "This is the same sample bottle we used at the country club demonstration, it should be fine..." He took a sniff of it, and grimaced. "What...? That's not our usual fragrance, is it?" Mr. Haroldson leaned over to sniff as well.
She'd been found out. She was doomed. Her poker face collapsed like a house of cards. "Okay fine I took a few drops for a friend and maybe replaced it with a little bit of shampoo, so what!" She pointed at Mr. Haroldson. "What are you gonna do about it, huh? Fire me? Go ahead, see if I care! I can get a million better modeling jobs in a week!"
Mr. Haroldson's expression darkened in rage—and then he said, "Pacifica, you're a genius!"
"Huh?"
"Watering it down! Of course! We can sell unaltered bottles to hook new customers and then stretch out our supply by giving repeat customers the weak stuff—we'll tell them that it's less effective if they're overusing it! We can keep up that scam for years, it's not like the FDA is regulating this stuff! Why, we could even make a whole new product!" He turned to wave at an assistant, "Call R&D, get R&D on the phone—we'll make a formula designed to grow short hair. We can call it... Pixie Dust Pixie Cuts! It's all thanks to you, Pacifica!" He beamed at her.
She beamed back.
He said, "You're not getting credit or a raise though."
"Pshhh, obviously. I know how this industry works."
"All right, back to work." He pointed at the director. "Crack open a new bottle and let's wrap this up ASAP. I've got to schedule some meetings about the new product line."
####
"Well, he didn't grow himself eight arms," Dipper said, sitting cross-legged on his bed. He was going over a map of Gravity Falls he'd taken from the gift shop, circling locations of potential paranormal activity he wanted to investigate over the summer. Bill-tainted places got an additional triangle. "And I took out the kitchen trash to make sure Bill couldn't go back for the formula later. I guess he wasn't up to anything after all." He paused. "... Unless he wanted the formula in our trash, and now it's multiplying the garbage or getting picked up by some sleeper agent outside the shack—"
"Stooop," Mabel said. She was carefully coloring in a green bottle of Harry's Hairy Fairy Formula in Dipper's journal; Dipper had started entrusting his journal's art duties to Mabel whenever they went on a joint investigation. "We can't start thinking like that! Remember, our therapist told us that paranoia is a natural coping mechanism for dealing with scary situations, but trusting people is healthy and a sign of healing!" She set down the journal so she could emphasize the word "healing" with jazz hands.
"I think that's supposed to apply to trusting normal people."
"Yeah, but still." The journal flipped a few pages as she picked it back up, and her eyes were caught by scribbles in bright highlighter yellow. "Hey, what's this new stuff? Did you make up a secret code to keep notes in? Can I learn?"
"Ugh. No, Bill did that. I left my journal out and he wrote a bunch of secret messages. It's probably telling me how I'm going to die or the names of all the girls who will reject me or something."
"Pff, probably. Have you shown Grunkle Ford? Maybe he knows it."
"Not yet. He's been too busy."
"Right..." And now, she was sure, he was probably mad at her personally for worrying him with the hand prank.
Mabel flipped through a few more pages, looking at the bright yellow notes. She glanced toward the window, scanning the trees outside. She sighed and got up, leaving Dipper's journal on her bed.
"What's up?"
"Now you've got me worrying about sleeper agents. I'm gonna make sure the gloves are still in the trash."
When she'd confirmed all the garbage was right where it was supposed to be and came back in the shack, she spotted Bill in the living room. He was scrunched up on one side of the sofa as close to the doorway as he could get, watching TV. He glanced over as she shut the front door and flashed a grin. "Hey, Shooting Star. What're you up to?"
Ah, great. They were on casual chit-chat terms now. She edged toward the doorway but stayed outside the living room—sorry, not staying long—and said, "Oh, you know, just—looking at... the outdoors." Before he could dig further, she changed the topic. "So! How's that hair working out for you?"
"Ah." His smile wilted and his glance drifted back toward the TV. (He seemed to be watching the local news. Mabel decided he must've been really bored.) "Well, hair's still the worst thing that's ever grown on me and I still see a human in the mirror—but at least it's a human with a vaguely triangular silhouette. I can live with being back where I started."
"Sorry we couldn't come up with a real solution." As glad as she was to finish her obligation to Bill, she hated that all her efforts hadn't even really helped. Some problem-solver she was.
"Yeah, well. You can't build a pyramid out of meat. You did the best you could." Bill turned to fully face Mabel. "But, hey—listen." He had one eye squeezed shut but the other one stared her down with the intensity of a spotlight, paralyzing her in place. "Even if it's not perfect, I appreciate the effort you put in."
"Hey, it's no big deal. Crafts are my whole thing! It was kinda fun."
"No, I'm serious," Bill said. "I know I'm the town bogeyman, and everyone's only putting up with me until they find the easiest way to obliterate me. But you did a lot more than just 'put up with me.' And, well—don't tell the others I said this," he rolled his eye toward the hall to the rest of the house, and lowered his voice, "but... it's been a long time since anybody's treated me with a little kindness. Longer than you can imagine. I think I'd forgotten what it feels like. Even if I don't have much time left to enjoy it—I'm grateful for the reminder, kid."
Mabel's eyes widened. "Bill, that..." A lump formed in her throat. How long had it been? As big a jerk as he was—centuries? Millennia?
She darted into the living room, squeezed Bill in a hug before he could protest, and then bolted up the stairs two at a time.
And Bill thought to himself, got her.
Humans were so easy. Once you figured out what they wanted to believe in, you could make them do anything you wanted.
Mabel wanted to believe that everyone everywhere yearned to be friends with everyone else, and that the only thing holding them back was the defensive walls they built around their emotions. Mabel wanted to see people's walls come down. Mabel wanted every social problem to be simple enough that even a child could solve it if they were earnest and honest enough.
Mabel shouldn't have let Bill watch Color Critters. It told him too much about the kind of world she idealized. He had that kid completely figured out—
There was a loud pounding as Mabel leaped back down the stairs three at a time. "On your feet!" She grabbed Bill's hands and tugged him off the sofa, then wrapped a measuring tape around his hips.
He twisted around in bewilderment as she circled him, now measuring his chest. "What—?"
"Face forward! Arms out from your sides!" She measured his shoulder span, then grabbed one arm to measure the length. "I'll be back later. I've got work to do. Do not come upstairs!"
Bill leaned out the doorway to watch her bunny-hop back up to the attic.
Okay, he had that kid mostly figured out.
Well, the odd quirks just made her a little more interesting than the average human. The important thing was that, whether she knew it or not, she wanted Bill to be her friend. She wanted to be the horse girl who tamed the hostile bronco, the beauty who saved the beast. She wanted monsters to swear their loyalty to cute spunky protagonists, and she thought she was a protagonist.
The "reformed bad boy" was outside of the usual characters he played—he was better as the ancient teacher, the playful trickster, the divine messenger—but it was an easy enough role, and it gave him plenty of room to misbehave while staying in character. It's so hard to change my old ways—but maybe it would be easier if you give me another chance, if you help me, if you do this one little thing for me...
There was a fun little quirk of human psychology that was so well-known they'd even given their own name to it: the Foot-In-The-Door Technique. Once you get a human to do you one small, tiny little favor, they'll be more likely to do you another, bigger favor later. Borrow a dollar today and they'll be more likely to let you borrow a hundred dollars next week. Ask them to drive you to the auto shop and you'll have a better chance of asking them to help you move. Get them to bring you a little hair solution, and... well, Bill would just have to wait and see what he wanted next.
As long as everything Bill asked for was harmless, there was nothing the warier members of the household could do to intervene without making themselves look like the unreasonable ones. And by the time Bill started asking for anything dangerous, he'd have Mabel eating out of the palm of his hand, and she'd have no idea until it was too late that she didn't mean a thing to him—
####
Bill stared dumbly in the mirror at the yellow yarn hoodie. "H—Did you just make this?" With his arms at his sides, from the shoulders down, it looked like a decapitated triangle.
"I used velvet yarn for your brick pattern," Mabel said. "It makes the lines stand out more! And I cut one of Dipper's bow ties in half to make the hood's drawstring so you can tie it into a bow!"
Wordlessly, Bill tied the bow—it hung in the center of his chest—and then he pulled the hood on, tugging it low over his forehead, completing the triangle. Mabel had put an eye on the hood. She'd even remembered Bill's eyelashes.
"I thought, hey—if the mask was too much, and the hair is too little, maybe a hoodie's just right," Mabel said. "I don't usually make sweaters for people—sweater curse, blarrr, you know—but, this one time, I thought it was important." She gave Bill a nervous smile. "So... what do you think? Do you like it?"
Bill stared at his reflection. It was hideous, misshapen, and alien, but it was almost himself.
He looked at Mabel. He got down on his knees. He put a hand on her shoulder. He said, "I will kill one enemy of yours, for free, no questions asked, in any way you want."
Mabel blinked. "Please don't do that."
"When I take over the universe I'm giving you your own galaxy."
"I don't—I don't want a galaxy. What would I do with a whole galaxy?"
"A solar system. A planet? Everyone wants their own planet!"
Mabel shook her head.
"Then what do you want?" What the heck do human children like. "Can I show you a magic trick?"
Mabel considered that.
####
"Grunkle Stan, Grunkle Ford!" Mabel ran into the kitchen, pushing Waddles in front of her, breathless with excitement. "Look what I can do!" She held a clear plastic spoon at arm's length, peered through it at Waddles like it was a magnifying glass, and slowly lifted the spoon up. Waddles floated up into the air as well. He snorted in mild bafflement.
Stan's jaw dropped. Ford said, "Ohhh, boy."
Mabel beamed at them both.

(This chapter isn't quite as edited as I usually do, because I've been sick this past week but wanted to get it out anyway. Apologies for that and I'd appreciate if you noticed any typos or disjointed sentences! And I'd doubly appreciate any nice comments, I've been having a hell of a week.)

What about smth for JD (heathers) with an s/o who's equally as possessive and protective over him, maybe even more so?
I fucking love it when the reader perfectly matches the characters energy omg
Jason Dean with an s/o who's just as possessive/protective as he is
Warnings: gender neutral reader, both the reader and JD are possessive and protective to an unhealthy extent, JD and the reader are a match made in hell (which means they're naturally perfect for each other), codependent relationship to the max here, swearing, dark humor, mentions of murder/death, mentions of gun use, some smutty/nsfw stuff
Tumblr media Tumblr media
As much as JD likes to mess with you, he actually does appreciate just how much you seem to love and care for him. Far too often has he been in relationships where it seemed as though he was the only one who was putting in any effort that he eventually began to lose hope he'd one day find someone who loved and worshipped him as much as he does for them
Then you showed up, and everything in his life seemed to get ten times better. He actually started attending school more often just so he can see you, especially if he knows you won't skip
However- that doesn't mean that he won't push your buttons, because he absolutely will. Believe me when I say that he's going to have at least a little fun at your expense
He'd never actually cheat, as he's way too clingy for that (unless he got really pissed off and wanted to teach you a lesson or something, but even then he'd probably end up killing the person afterwards) but he does find it amusing to see your reaction to him flirting with other people
It doesn't even have to be anyone he actually likes, in fact, he purposely goes out of his way to flirt with people he hates and actively talks shit about in front of you because he knows how mad you'll get. He's an asshole, what can I say
The look of silent rage that appears on your face whenever you see him walk up to any random guy or girl gets him chuckling everytime. He'll stay over there and flatter said random person until you storm over and drag him away from the conversation
Don't think that just because he flirts with other people that you can, that'd be crazy. How dare you talk to anyone other than him? What do you have, a death wish or something? (You flirt with other people anyway because he's not the boss of you and you can do what you want)
It's all in good fun though, because neither one of you would ever let anyone else lay their hands on the other, whether that be in a violent or sexual manner (or both). In fact, you guys even joke that if one of you ended up cheating on the other all three people involved would die, because there's no way the cheater or the person they'd cheated with would be allowed to live and the other couldn't live knowing their beloved was gone (it's actually not that much of a joke, but since you guys are so attached to each other that would probably never happen)
Speaking of committing murders, you guys do! All the time! :D (I don't know why I'm saying this like it's a good thing lol) Anytime someone does something to piss either one of you off, the two of you turn it into a date where you both kill the person, frame it as a suicide, then go back to your house for sex while the adrenaline is still pumping fast through your veins
Jealousy sex/make-up sex happens fairly often, by the way. You two may love each other, but because your personalities are so similar they're bound to end up clashing at some point, which leads to explosive arguments that typically end in "hate sex" (it's not really hate sex since you guys still love each other but given how much you both curse each other out and literally say "I hate you" during it I guess it could qualify)
Neither one of you really have any friends, not that you'd need them when you have each other. In fact, the only time you ever hang out with anyone else is when you're purposely trying to get JD riled up, and vice versa
I know he acts pretty aloof but I like to think that deep down he's actually really flattered to have someone who's crazy over him the same way he is over you. To someone as clingy and obsessed as him, it's almost like the highest honor, y'know?

And once more with feeling: Why there is no magic trick or gun to either of their heads in the final fifteen.
Before you immediately run to my comments or hit reblog, please read the entire thing. If you're still mad, either read it again or sit with it, do not make it my problem. Genuine questions and discussions are always welcome, comments that make it clear you did not understand a word I said aren't.
Okay? Okay.
With that, welcome back to Alex's unhinged meta corner, and today we are going to compare their first and last argument in the bookshop—they are, fundamentally, the same. It both sets the scene for their relationship this season and works as immaculate foreshadowing of how they part.
I compared the scripts, which you can find here. It's incredible that OP put all that work into creating these because otherwise I would have gone insane doing it myself.
Now, the setting: they have a problem.
In ep1 it is Gabriel, in ep6 it is technically still Gabriel, or rather his now empty position in heaven. They solved one problem and now they're forced to deal with another one he also caused; meanwhile he's drinking space margaritas.
Crowley, stuck in his trauma-induced hypervigilance and paranoia, suggest putting as much distance between them and the problem as possible. I think it is interesting that in ep1 he wants to get Gabriel away from them, while at the end of the season he is ready to get them away from the problem.
So far, I have never seen anyone mention that change! And it's important! The entire season, it is hammered into our heads how much they love being on earth. It is THEIR bookshop and THEIR car and THEIR life.
Tumblr media
Crowley wants to protect that home, and Gabriel is a threat to it, a threat to both of them, their life, the bookshop—everything. He does not want to leave, he wants his peace and angel in one place.
Yet by allowing Gabriel to stay, Aziraphale destroyed the sense of comfort and safety Crowley slowly developed over the last few decades. Heaven nipping down every now and then to check in with Aziraphale is very different from him sheltering the Supreme Archangel who is running from 'something terrible' without even asking if he's alright with that.
Aziraphale calls it their bookshop, but he fundamentally still sees it as his space to govern and Crowley as a guest.
After another horrible week and having his previously safe space violated several different times and beings, Crowley is back to where he was before—without a home. That fragile existence broke apart, so he is standing in the heap of shards and telling Aziraphale 'I don't feel safe here anymore, let's leave'.
He lost his safe space, but he still has his safe person, his best and only friend, the person he loves. I doubt he cares where exactly they go as long as they're together and it's safe.
Returning to heaven—it is the one place Crowley cannot follow him to. It's literally the worst option, he can't go back, he won't go back. So he invokes the bookshop again, if you don't want to stay for me, stay for the bookshop, your books, your corner of existence that I thought we had carved out for ourselves.
'Nothing lasts forever' and 'you're at liberty to go' have the same underlying meaning—you're not welcome in this house anymore, it was your safe place, not anymore. Both times, he's essentially kicking him out.
Aziraphale then switches it up again!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Same manipulation tactic, first making Crowley feel rejected and unwelcome, then trying to pull him back in by promising and showing affection. He's desperate, he's attempting to get Crowley into his "saviour" role because he knows he has a hard time not saving him from whatever trouble he gets him into. Aziraphale knows him so damn well, and he uses that knowledge to get what he wants.
'If you won't, you won't' has the same implication as 'then there's nothing more to say'—I am ending that conversation, you can leave now, he even makes the same face both times.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
In ep1, that's that, Crowley takes his emotions and leaves.
The lightning bolt is the kiss. A sudden, heavy discharge of pent-up feelings that has been a long time coming, but in the end he is more desperate, less controlled, at his emotional rock bottom. Everything he thought to be true about their relationship came crashing down around him.
In his mind, Aziraphale chose heaven over him—TWICE! First Gabriel, now Gabriel's position.
'You're on your own with this one' applies to both scenes, I think the reasoning behind that is pretty clear.
Now, some more verbal components and word meanings that I think are worth mentioning.
One of them is Crowley directly pointing out heaven's cruelties when Aziraphale is seemingly unaware of them, thinking of Gabriel/heaven as in in need of his 'help'.
I can take help him -> I can make a difference.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
It is, fundamentally, the same argument.
Aziraphale feels like he is the one who needs to play saviour (that Crowley actually hates it but Aziraphale loves it is a post for another time), the one being who can help Gabriel/heaven and fix all the problems.
Crowley correctly points out that they do not care about him and are just as cruel—if not more—as hell, that Gabriel tried to destroy him, that heaven will destroy all of them.
Their responses to that just shoot past each other and it is what Crowley himself tells us. Two different exactlys
Aziraphale's -> I am the only one who can fix this, I feel responsible for this, help me fix this.
Crowley's -> This is dangerous, it can get us killed, we cannot fix this. Come and be safe with me.
'He needs us' becomes 'I need you'.
'I would love you to help me' becomes 'we can be together'.
In episode 1, the argument isn't 'final', as such. Crowley is exhausted, sad, feels rejected, but when he finds out just how much trouble Aziraphale is in, he needs to go back and help him. It's instinct, he couldn't live with himself if he knowingly let him walk into the knife—and yet in episode 6 that is exactly what Aziraphale forces him to do.
It is why Crowley brings up the nightingales, why he kisses him: that primal, love-based desperation. This argument is final, he won't be able to follow him to heaven no matter what, he won't be able to protect him.
He is on his own with this one.
In conclusion, THIS is why the argument that happened in the final fifteen is real, there's no trick, no nothing.
They have had the same argument before, probably over and over again. Same structure but with lower stakes, and eventually they reconciled.
This time the stakes are as high as they possibly can be, which lures their most primal, honest arguments out of them.
Aziraphale wants to fix heaven, wants to help, still believes that they are fundamentally good, that he can make a difference.
Crowley has lived the truth, has been trying to tell him for centuries, and he is exhausted. He wants safety. He wants peace. He wants the two of them in a peaceful, not-fragile corner of existence that no one else gets to break ever again.
Not a single line was 'out of character', this is exactly who they are, with all their layers stripped away and their fears exposed. It's not pretty to watch, it hurts, it makes you ache, and yet they and we know that this is how it has the end—the only way it was ever going to end.
That is what makes it tragic.
However, even after all of that, there is one step left: reconciliation.
Season 3 is going to give it to us, in whatever shape or form. Neil knows what he is doing, and we can trust him to give them the ending they deserve.

Just remembered that Professor Agasa is Jii's inventor friend who helps with Kid's gadgets so Shinichi and Kaito have another connection. It would be hilarious if Shiho/Ai figured it out first because of this, I think Kaito would get along great with her and the Professor.
I've thought about this before.
Jii is a close friend of Agasa, I don't doubt that maybe Agasa even knows that Jii works for KID but chooses to ignore it.
However, we all know how much he cares about Ai, I imagine that at some point they had a conversation about that along the lines of:
"We've been friends for a long time, I know you're a good person, but I also know that you work for KID."
Jii doesn't look at him, he just takes a sip of his drink. They never talk about it, it's a not-so-secret secret between them, Jii always hinted at it, but Agasa never seemed to care. He doesn't think he's going to turn them in, so he waits for him to continue.
"I have a daughter, not biological obviously, she's suffered a lot, bad, very bad people are after her, I'm afraid I won't be able to protect her."
"Do you want him to investigate them?"
"No, it's very dangerous, and I wouldn't put a friend's family in danger for mine, just… if one day that girl comes here without me, do you think they can hide her? She's my family, and I know she'll be perfectly hidden with someone as skilled with disguises as KID."
"Knowing my master, I don't think he'll reject you, and I won't either, however, I'm sure he'll want to meet her."
"I think it would be good to make proper introductions, I want her to know where to go if she needs it." It makes a lot of sense to me that Agasa would want to hide Ai away if things went too bad, and what better place to hide than with someone he has no "relationship" with?
I can see Jii explaining the situation to Kaito, and being the kind person he is, agreeing to help them out. And he's also thrilled at the idea of meeting the inventor of his gadgets! Kaito has so many questions! He might even ask him for suggestions for his card gun and his opinion on it.
In Ai's case, I feel like Agasa makes her a hot drink and they sit alone talking in the middle of the night when Conan isn't around and the kids are in their own homes.
"Why did you need to talk to me alone?"
"I want to introduce you to my bartender friend and his grandson."
"Just me? Why?"
Agasa takes Ai's hands, more to comfort himself than her.
"I may not say it as often as I should, but you are important to me, we don't know what will happen to the organization in the future, so if things get bad enough that I can't stay by your side, I want you to have somewhere to go, I don't want you to be alone again and I'm worried about your safety."
Haibara would stay silent, what Agasa says makes a lot of sense, but she has a lot of thoughts in her head. A part of her feels touched, she never thought she could have a family again, and on the other hand she is worried about the uncertain future that awaits them.
For now, all she can do is give him a hug, he's not a person who usually shows affection, but with the two of them being the only ones there, she gives herself the opportunity to do so.
"Wouldn't it be dangerous for them if that were to happen?"
"My friend's grandson is very good at disguises, I hope that with him they would never be able to find you, and also that almost no one knows my connection with them, it makes it the perfect place to hide."
"You thought a lot about it."
"I want you to be safe."
Kaito immediately recognizes Haibara, and also Agasa, they are friends of Conan.
The first thing Agasa says in this situation is that Ai must not tell Shinichi about this unless this situation becomes too dangerous.
Haibara did not think that the professor's friend would work with KID, nor that the latter would use the professor's inventions, she thinks it is very funny.
While Agasa and Jii talk, Haibara and KID get to know each other.
KID: I'm surprised that you chose to stay, I thought you would leave as soon as you found out who I am.
Haibara: You don't care about my secret, so I don't care about yours.
KID: Don't you think I'm suspicious? That my assistant and I are?
Haibara: You can't expect me to trust you right away, but Professor Agasa does, so I'll give you the benefit of the doubt, but don't expect mercy from me if you end up getting involved in a robbery just because you use his inventions.
KID: Interesting. I like you.
Haibara: I just threatened you, you have weird tastes.
KID: I like people who try to kill me, they make life more fun.
Haibara: You're strange.
KID: Well, trust is something that is built. Here's my number.
Haibara: Is it real?
KID: No, but if we're going to make friends, we need to start somewhere right?
Haibara: I didn't say I wanted to be your friend.
KID: But you said you don't trust me, and from what the brilliant and charming professor said, if you ever find yourself in a situation where you can't go home, you have to find us, so… Why not become friends? I think that way you wouldn't feel awkward and distrustful if that possibility ever came up.
And that's how these two become text friends.
Since Kaito and Haibara have programming skills, I like to think that they design their own app to talk to. I like the headcanon that Kaito has knowledge in chemistry and creates his own smoke bombs, so he asks Haibara for a lot of advice.
She has him listed as "Unpaid Intern" and Kaito as "Labor Slave."
Conan is incredibly curious about her strange online friend, he makes Haibara laugh, she seems happier, he needs to know who can make her laugh out loud with a single message.
However, every time he tries to access the strange app it asks for a password, and he has no idea what it is.
She'd be surprised if she knew it was 1412, and yes, Kaito's is 4869.
Kaito asks her about the antidote, since he's seen Shinichi use it, she tells him that "unlike that reckless fool, he only uses it in serious emergencies", she shyly tells him that she would have liked to go on a date with her, but understands the gravity of her situation, so she apologizes for thinking something stupid.
Haibara tells Kaito about the kids, how dumb Shinichi is, Agasa, the new music she's listening to, the series she watched.
Kaito about his day at school, magic tricks, mentions the Nakamoris, complains about Hakuba and Akako, and asks if it would be too much to use pink glitter for their upcoming heist. I would really like to read a fic (or make it myself, since I'm at it) with their online friends, and if it comes to the point that Ai has to become Shiho once again, Kaito can take her out for a good time for a change.

Let's talk about genocide Starlo
... because on one hand, I understand where the devs were coming from. They wanted to highlight that Star was not the cool, badass sheriff he'd love to be. Some pointed out how, realistically, he couldn't have defeated Clover and especially delivered the final blow (he does it in pacifist/neutral bc hes in the worst possible headspace). Star is a big softie and a "naive fool," lets be real. But still, there is one more thing that he is: caring.
He cares about the town, toursits, especially his friends. It's been shown over and over and OVER again. And i'm sure as hell disappointed he didn't bring a real gun. Yeah, he was always aware this was all play pretend, but just for a few minutes, this man should have tried to be the sheriff he never got the chance to be before.
For the sake of everyone. For the sake of justice.
I'm not even asking for an epic battle. I'm asking for a battle that wouldn't even be close to Undyne's in UT's geno. But it would be Starlo's battle. A battle he was robbed of for the sake of Ceroba getting the spotlight.. for the 2nd time. Because this dude is clearly seen as a joke by the devs. I'll ask:
Why ceroba AGAIN? she shone in pacifist, while Star was always more of a comic relief and its depressing. Especially since the genocide route ties too well with a twisted image of justice. Star values it as much as Clover, but here he could have been the hero of justice. I just have to say....
STARLO IS THE ONLY ONE OF THE MAIN CHARACTERS WHO DOESN'T EVEN HAVE BATTLE MODE IN GENOCIDE WE WERE ROBBED HES LITERALLY THE EQUIVALENT TO MONSTER KID OR METTATON NEO i'm not sure BUT EVEN MK GOT A BATTLE MODE. METTATON NEO ALSO GOT A BATTLE MODE. EVERYONE GOT A BATTLE MODE EXCEPT STARLO
He should have said... "I may not be a real sheriff by title, but my soul will deliver justice!" Or smth Then just like during the Asgore fight, he'd almost be dead, ceroba arrives, tries to protect star, gets shot by Clover, they say goodbye to each other, then, before he is about to get shot too starlo says smth like genocide undyne and that's how he goes out.
Even better, he, without thinking, throws his hat on the ground (bc he metaphorically no longer wants to admire or associate himself with humans, ever again), seeing his bff die in front of him and goes either: "I don't care if you make fun. This isn't about being cool anymore. This is about my town, my friends. This is about JUSTICE." or "No... I won't fight you/deliver justice as North Star." *pause* "I'll do it as Starlo." and the dork then just stares at clover (There'd be a "laugh" option if Clover decides to act because, well, they see him for the nerd he is) but he's DETERMINED and at this point it doesn't even matter if he's not skilled, he'd do something he hadn't done in years just for the sake of saving his remaining friends, family, and other potential victims: Starlo would fight AS HIMSELF.
But maybe he wouldn't even fight after he takes his hat off. maybe he'd try to explain to Clover violence isn't the answer like Martlet, because that's something the real him would do. He'd drop the hat, drop the gun, drop the belief that he's a badass, and instead accept that he was, and always will be, a big ol' softie. And there's nothing wrong with that.
Point is, would he actually kill clover? hell no. That would be ooc (now that I think about it, why wouldn't he, when he is able to do it in other 2 routes? And he COULD have done it in flawed pacifist? His whole world and identity crashing down and losing all his friends is terrible, losing his bff to a human he trusted and to whom he gave a gun is also terrible, but so is letting a genocidal maniac continue killing)
But he'd die knowing two things:
1)he had tried to be a real, dignified sheriff, and failed (bc he died, not bc he didn't try. In canon, he doesn't even try and THAT'S SO UNLIKE HIM especially considering the situation)
2)in his final moments, he finally became himself again
and that.. that would have been so much more satisfying than what we got.

Hiiiii I hope I'm not a bother again, can I request a reaction of assassination classroom's main boys where you hide under your desk because of the weapons' loud noises? I used to read a quotev story and the mc did that, it broke my heart and I wanted to comfort them!!
Thank you<3
S/O is scare of the weapon's loud noises
Tumblr media
[ HEADCANONS ] [ Nagisa, Karma ]
[ Assassination Classroom / Ansatsu Kyoshitsu ]
Tumblr media
Uuuuh so cute ~ I will like to hug them too 🥺
By main boys you mean them right? I hope so, also sorry I changed a little the prompt I didn't specify that s/o hides under the desk
Tumblr media
Nagisa Shiota
Nagisa is really caring towards you and even when he can get pretty shy that doesn't stop him from noticing when you are bothered by something, also he is really observant so it doesn't take him long to notice that you are scare by the guns you use, although he prefers to don't confront you right away
As well, Nagisa doesn't like to jump into conclutions so once he notice that you are afraid he imediatly pays attention to his surroundings to try find out what is bothering you (specially if you don't like or is difficult for you to talk about that kind of things)
Nagisa really wish to have the opportunity to talk to before the problem grows, so if it reach the point where you end up hidding to avoid the weapon's loud sounds or even have a panic attack Nagisa will feel really bad about letting things get so far (and he will blame himself a little because he already noticed that you were afraid)
When Nagisa sees you hidding he is quickly to react, trying to brush off his own feelings for now and just focusing in comforting you, approaching to you and with a soft voice trying to catch your attention, sweetly asking you whats wrong (even when he may know what happened, he wants for you to express, but he won't force you to), he doesn't want to right away touch you fearing that he may make things worst, and if there are more of your classmates there worring about you he asks to please don't surround you to not overwhelm you (unless you prefer for them to be there with you)
It could be that he confronts you about it before this ever happen or after this experience, that doesn't matter too much because in either case he will do it in a calm and soft manner, not wanting to make it seem like he is invading your privacy or something, as well as making sure to express that he is really worried about you (but if is after you hide he will be a little more pushy with making you talk)
Nagisa isn't going to judge you for being afraid of the loud noises, he even admit that at first he was startled for how loud they actually were, and he is just happy to finally being able to talk about this with you
Nagisa immediatly offers you help to find out a solution to this, because there is no way for you to avoid the weapons since the assassination is an important part of the classes (unless you leave class 3-E, but that isn't easy neither), and he probably bring up the idea of talking it with Koro-sensei (who already noticed your fear)
After talking with Koro-sensei he let you avoid the roll call at the beginning of the classes to avoid the shooting, and since in class is forbidden to shoot to not interrupt the classes it won't be much troubles (and your classmates gladly help you with it too, not being able to use the guns will help them to find another ways to try to kill the teacher after all), and in Karasuma's classes you can use special headphones to don't hear the shooting
Besides, Nagisa is constantly checking on you, asking if you are alright and if you need a moment before going to the next classes, as well as making sure you don't forget your headphones and comforting you if you need it. Nagisa make a lot of efforts to help you because seeing you so scare that you feel the need to hide makes his heart squeeze
Tumblr media
Karma Akane
Even when he doesn't show it much Karma is really caring towards you (you are his partner and not just in crime after all), he just show it in discreet and indirect ways, also he is really observant so it won't take him much time before noticing that you seem afraid by the weapons
First of all Karma is really interested and curious about your fear, so he won't say anything for a while and just watch you closely to see what exactly makes you afraid (although once he notice that you are really afraid or even almost with a panic attack he reacts quickly taking your attention away from whatever is startling you)
Even when Karma is pretty sure about your fear he doesn't confront you about it right away, specially if you don't like or have problems to talk about those things, still he tend to do little coments and even jokes about it mainly to let you know that he already know it (but if it makes you really uncomfortable or even embarrassed he will stop)
Karma likes when he feels like he has the control of the situation or at least knowing that it isn't going to become a disaster, so he is confident on that knowing about your fear he can talk to you before things get messy, so if he finds you hidding because of the weapon's loud sounds he is kinda shocked and mad at himself too for letting this happen because he was sure that he could help you before this happens, although if he actually confront you before you end up hidding or having a panic attack he will be calm while handling the situation
If it happens that he sees you hidden he reacts quickly, just by seeing you so scare make him really worried about you so he imediatly gets serious and kneeling in front of you he calls you, trying to make you focus only on him, pointing out that he is there with you and that he isn't going to leave you, as well as helping you regulate your breathing
When you finally manage to calm down Karma still in a serious manner confront you about it, asking you directly about your fear and when you say that is specifically to the loud noises he is surprised but still doesn't judge you (although if is in the case that he didn't saw you hidden he will be a little more carefree and even laugh softly, but not like making fun of you)
Karma knows that, as much as he hate seeing you in such state there is no way to avoid the weapons because all of this is an important part of the class, so instead he immediatly search for a way to be able to help you with your fear, he doesn't really bring the idea of asking Koro-sensei (but it isn't like he will just stand there and don't do anything)
From his side he will shield you at the best of his habilities from the loud noises (and he won't hesitant on going against whoever use the guns outside of the permitted time or attempted murder and makes you afraid), as well as talk to you about this fear (but making it seem like a normal chat without much importance) hoping to be able to help you decide to confront your fear or at least get used to

your mikey headcannons are so GOOD!!! i love how you write his character. how do you think all timeline mikey will react to a girly gf? someone who likes pink, stuff toys, and wearing skirts, etc (i'm a 22 year old woman who likes those so 😔)
Babes, I am (now) 20 y/o and I love plushies, I have a huge collection of beanie babies (not my pic, just what they look like) and I love pink and you could wear skirts at any age frfr and thank you sm
Toman\OG Timeline- He doesn't really mind any of it, too be honest with you. He thinks it's pretty cute actually. As long as it's too over the top, because he does have a reputation too up-hold, then ask for whatever. If you want a specific stuffed animal, just let him know and he'll have someone get it for you. He likes that you dress all girly, it's cute contrast to his constant gang attire. He also may or may not let you put cute pink bows in his hair... but only in private and you have too catch him in a good mood. He also won't let you do it ever again if he finds out that you've taken pictures. (He's not being serious, but you better not show anyone because he will kill them.)
Manila- He teases you about it, but he really doesn't care. He loves seeing you in your skirts.. as long as he's the only that sees it, or else you're not allowed too where them at all. He'll do this thing where, if you misbehave he'll take your little stuffed animals away, he's done it before. Now, he won't destroy them, unless you really piss him off, but he will take them away from you. For example, if you don't give him affection, he'll have his gun pointed at the little studded plushies head. He doesn't mind all the pink, but he will tell you it's an eye sore, when in actuality, he quite enjoys the pop of color in the apartment.
Kanto- Doesn't really care, as long as there's not stuffed toys everywhere, do whatever you please. He does get a little annoyed if your shared bedroom is covered in pink however, so don't.. go crazy with the decorations. He doesn't mind the skirts, but you are made too wear shorts under them if there's anyone besides Mikey around, it also has too be to your knees and he will give you length checks if you're going out, which is already pretty rare on it's own. In these length checks, you will be told too bend over, and if, he can see your shorts, that you have too wear under it or if the shorts are too short, you are made too change and don't throw a tantrum, as he calls them, 'cause then you're not allowed too go out at all.
Bonten- Loves the little skirts, he likes too bend you over his desk, as he sits in his chair, paperwork spread messily around his desk. He just likes too run his hands up the back of your thighs, playing with the lace. Just like with Kanto though, you're only allowed too wear the skirts with him, he does take it a little further though, as in, if there's anyone is around, you can't wear the skirts at all. Not even with shorts underneath, not at all. Either you wear long shorts or pants. Doesn't mind the plushies, he'll just watch you as you sit with or play with them, the only thing about it that would annoy him about them though, is if, you show the plushies more affection or you cuddle with them and not him. That'll piss him off and he'll take them away. He doesn't mind the pink, as long as it's kept to a minimum.
Street Racer- Thinks it's the cutest thing ever, seriously. He prefers when you wear skirts, simply because he likes too keep one of his hands on your thighs all the time. He'll run his thumb over the soft skin as he just has conversations with his friends. It's not really sexual for him, he just likes too be touching you all the time and he appreciates that skin-to-skin contact. Doesn't mind or care about you having plushies, he thinks it's sweet that as an adult, you still keep your childhood- or adulthood memories in the shape of little plushies. If he wakes up and sees your little plush ha sfallen on the floor, he'll pick it up and put it back in your arms, he'll even learn all the names and refer to them with prefered pro-nouns and if they have backstories.. he's all ears baby and he's so interested, asking questions and everything.

Dazai X Odasaku!Sister "Timeless" P1
Tumblr media
Hello! I've been writing for awhile but this is the first time writing bsd. I gave Oda's sister a name but I'll do a version with y/n if that's more your speed. Synopsis: After Odasaku's death Dazai searches for a way to fulfill his last request but doesn't know where to start. That is until he meets Odasaku's mysterious little sister. Warnings: Usual bsd warnings. Murder, talks of death and suicide, Dazai being a sociopath. Part 1/3
Osamu Dazai was not a good man.
In fact, it would be absurd to even call him an average man. No, it seemed the fifteen year old boy knew just what kind of evil laid in every single cell of his body. It had always been that way, corrupting him for his entire life and there was no stopping it.
So the mafia executive had just accepted it, falling in line as the youngest person to ever command a fleet with absolutely no mercy. That’s just the way things were, and there was no changing them. Although, it wasn’t like the boy wanted change either.
The chaos, the destruction, the death, it was all he had known.
Hearing his newest victim's scream seemingly brought him out of his own philosophical thought though, causing the boy to lower his eyes and focus back in on the chained man in front of him.
Quite honestly, he had forgotten what the guy was being captured and tortured for but Dazai hardly cared, knowing his orders were only to silence him permanently.
Blood began to pour down the victim's face then, watching as the teenage boy reached for the gun on his belt only for the guy to start to scream and shout in his face. “Think about what you're doing, boy! If you kill me you’re going to regret it.”
Dazai only turned his head though, a crazed look in his eye as he cocked the ammunition. “You should have thought about that before double crossing the port mafia.”
Taking a step forward, the boy then pointed the barrel towards the man only for his anger to turn into pure fear, his cries turning into silence as he fully looked in the eyes of his executioner.
And what he saw was absolutely nothing, just a soulless boy with no remorse for his actions in the slightest. “Your eyes hold no feeling, Someday that will be your downfall, someday you will regret the blood you spill so easily.”
For a moment, the bandaged boy paused, curiosity taking up his features as he spoke through the darkness. “And why is that?”
The prisoner then pulled against his chains, lunging for the kid to no avail as his face contorted in insanity in order for him to reply. “Because one day, there won't be a stranger on the other side of that gun. What will you do then?”
Before he could finish, Dazai’s finger pulled the trigger, piercing the enemy five times straight as his lips curled into a bloodthirsty and terrifying smile.
And in his head, the boy replied to his outrages question as the blood began to soak his feet silently. The same thing I always do, because I don't see anyone but strangers.
The man's lifeless body slumped against the chains a moment later as Dazai let off ten more shots into his cold dead muscles as he twitched at the impact. The move was inhumane and psychotic but that was always Dazai’s way of doing things.
He didn’t become a port mafia executive without spilling blood after all.
After a moment, the barrel of his gun clicked him back to reality, all the bullets emptied in order for the boy to simply put the weapon back onto his belt and leave the room in silence.
He felt no remorse for the stranger, or for the brutal way he had ended his life. He never did. Everything had become such second nature to him over time.
Well, there was one person that knew him better than the rest. He was the person that he trusted over all else, almost like a family he never had. The words were still heavy on his mind even now.
Oda Sakunosuke
And whether Dazai liked it or not, he knew that Odasaku was the only one that kept him from going over the deep end into insanity. He kept the fifteen year old boy together and kept him human.
But now he was dead, so there was no one left to hold back the darkness.
So instead Dazai allowed it to fully swallow him whole.
Just then, his phone began to ring inside his pocket before the boy finally put his gun away and answered the call with a low murmur. “Mori, what do I owe the pleasure?”
HIs boss’s voice was immediate, echoing through the darkness. “Ah Dazai, how’s my favorite executive doing? What’s the report?”
Staring at the unmoving body, Dazai then sighed to himself before turning away from the sight in order to scrape some of his blood off his shoes. “The target has been eliminated just like you asked.”
Mori only hummed at that, satisfied with the report. “Very good. Just as expected from the famous demon prodigy. I thought you could use a job after everything that’s happened. You know, to clear your mind from Odasaku’s tragic death last week.”
At the sound of Oda’s name, the boy couldn’t help but tighten his hold on the phone as unwanted memories flooded into him without permission.
Because try as he may, Dazai couldn’t help but continue to hear his dear friend's words in the back of his head. Oda told him to become a good man but that was easier said than done. And though he wanted to fulfill his last wish, the boy had no idea what the mere concept of good was.
For you see, his blood was port mafia black through and through whether he liked it or not. It wasn’t a light switch he could flick in his mind. No, Dazai knew that he had been permanently tainted since he was a child, and there was no reversing that.
He was no longer a fifteen year old kid but rather the demon prodigy.
And demons couldn’t be cleansed into angels. They just couldn’t.
But because of that, the boy felt a gnawing guilt at the bottom of his stomach at all times of the day. It’s like it was punishing him for ignoring his old friend's request. But quite honestly, he knew he deserved it.
Oda was wrong after all, he couldn’t become a good person.
He didn’t even know what good was.
Dazai then felt his mind snap back into place just as he heard Mori finish one of his usual rambles as the boy narrowed his eyes. The boss totally brought up Odasaku because he knew it would garner a reaction from him.
But he wasn’t going to allow that. No, he was too prideful to show his flaws.
Because of that, the boy then forced a smile to his lips before speaking plainly. “Is there anything else you need from me, boss?”
The title came out slightly demeaning, Dazai using the term boss with a twinge of mocking vigor to get under his skin. The boy loved to do that, walking the fine line between respect and disrespect.
“Not partially. I just wanted to see how you were doing. He was your friend after all.” Mori’s sharp dark laugher filled up the space as the boy physically flinched at the world friend.
But once again, Dazai refused to give him satisfaction, the boy simply smiling to myself before turning his head to the side in reply. “I’m great. Thanks.”
Then Dazai simply hung up the phone, the empty space echoing with a long dial tone as he dropped his bandaged arm down to his side as the sunken dead look in his eyes stared at the empty walls for what seemed like forever.
He wanted to see how he was doing?
Of course he wasn’t doing okay.
--------
Dazai had tried to go back to his room at the port mafia but the longer the night got, the more his tired anxious eyes refused to shut. And when they did, he saw Odasaku’s life slip from his fingers, just like it had a week ago.
The boy cursed Mori for bringing up such fragile memories so casually, his body tossing and turning with a groan before finally giving up in order to wander the night streets aimlessly as the cold winter air hit his face.
Although he said that though, the boy quickly found himself wandering into a very familiar place, his hands reaching into his pocket in order to pull out a small silver key and push it into the lock.
The door swung open sadly, allowing the kid to step inside before finally feeling the weight of reality crash down all around him. This was Oda’s place, the apartment where Dazai had found himself many times over the years whenever the mafia felt a little too suffocating.
It was also the place they would go sometimes after having a few too many drinks at  Bar Lupin.
Glancing over to the empty living room he pictured a memory of the past as he imagined the ghostly silhouettes of himself, Ango and Oda as they drank around the table and laughed as the men showed him some new card game.
And as cold as Dazai’s heart was now, he missed those times. Why did he take such a thing for granted? Why didn’t he cherish those nights more? He could never get them back no matter how hard he tried.
In fact, the boy had come here tonight in search of something familiar, for something that reminded him of that safe comforting feeling he always had with his old friends. But now, it was cold and empty, just like how the boy felt on the inside.
He couldn’t find Odasaku’s presence anywhere, not even in this place.
Sighing to himself, the boy then walked over to the liquor cabinet in the corner before taking out two glasses and filling them up with whiskey.
Then Dazai lowered his eyes before placing one of the drinks on the table where Oda used to sit before moving over to the other side with a sigh.
Staring at the empty, cruel space across from him, the boy then took a sip of his whiskey as an unwanted wave of emotion coursed through his throat. “Odasaku..”
Suddenly, the entrance to his friend’s apartment started to jiggle and move, like someone was on the other side, as Dazai felt his defenses awaken immediately.
It sounded like someone was trying to break in. But who? Oda told him the only people that knew this place were him and Ango.
Quickly taking out his gun, the boy then narrowed his eyes before slipping out of slight just as the door flew open a moment later. Whoever was trying to steal from his old friend was going to pay for sure.
Dazai then listened carefully as a pair of shoes moved across the wooden floors, the movement halting as the stranger seemingly stopped to stare at the two strange whiskey glasses on the table.
He couldn’t see very much from the angle he was in, only that the stranger was wearing a large black hoodie, the fabric covering up the entirety of their frame and hiding their identity completely.
They then leaned down to touch one of the glasses as the boy quickly cocked his gun in order to place the barrel of his gun onto the back of their temple as the stranger froze.
And when he spoke, it was lethally calm. “Who are you? What are you doing here?”
The stranger was quiet as he watched their hands reach towards their jacket pocket only for the Dazai to assume it was a gun and take action. No, he wasn’t an idiot. Like this guy could pull a fast one on him.
Because of that, Dazai’s face immediately hardened before reaching forward in order to grab the intruder's arm, his fingers wrapping around the surprisingly slim surface before kicking their legs out from under them as they fell backwards onto the ground.
The boy hardly noticed them give a small squeak of surprise at the move.
Pushing the barrel of the gun towards the stranger, the boy added slowly. “You have one chance. Tell me why you’re here.”
The person underneath him tried to squirm but Dazai didn’t let them free, tightening his hold on the trigger before narrowing his eyes. If they didn’t want to tell them who they were then he could just examine the corpse later.
Yet that’s when they heard the intruder speak, soft and quiet, barely above a whisper. And call him crazy but they sounded feminine. “I’m looking for someone.”
Not understanding, he dug deeper. “Who?”
The girl was quiet then, her voice trailing away only for his gun to push even deeper to her temple in warning. No, he wouldn’t allow her to stay silent after dishonoring his old friend's old place.
A moment later she spoke again, except this time the boy was in no way prepared for her answer. “My big brother.”
And try as he may, the demon prodigy paused at that, his hand frozen on the gun as he couldn’t help but turn his head to the side. What the hell was she talking about? Why would her big brother be at Oda’s old place?
Although that’s when a crazy possibility popped into his head before the boy brushed it away immediately. No, that was ridiculous. There was no way.
Scoffing at the idea, Dazai frowned. “Your what?”
The stranger then seemingly sighed to herself before lifting her hand up as his defenses slammed back up in case she tried to try something funny. “He stopped answering my letters a week ago so I thought something might have happened to him. I hopped the first flight I could get and followed the return address on his envelopes.”
Then he watched her reach into her pocket only for his hand to push it back with a lot of anxiety. He didn’t trust this girl, she could’ve been lying, screwing him over. “Nice try but I wouldn’t try anything if I were you. I’m not in the best mood right now.”
Stopping immediately, the intruder’s hand grew tense and rigid against his fingers and for a moment the boy thought she was going to fight back or use some unknown ability on him.
Not that it would matter though considering his ability canceled out everyone else’s. She didn’t stand a chance, especially while he was holding her. No, Dazai would win. It was a guarantee.
Yet it seemed like the girl wasn’t as dumb as he once anticipated, her hand unmoving as she allowed the boy to hold her captive. “Then grab it yourself and see I’m not lying.”
Grab it himself? No, why would he do that? That would just give her the opportunity to stab him or inject him with some kind of poison or something.
Yet the alternative of having her retrieve whatever it is she was trying some him was equally dangerous. No, he couldn’t allow her that kind of freedom.
Because of that the boy narrowed his eyes before hastily reaching his hand out in order to shove it inside the girl’s small pocket on the front side of her drawstring sweatshirt only to pull out a folded envelope just like she had described.
Lifting up the white paper to his face, the boy then recognized the very same address they were at right now, Oda’s address, the one that no one was supposed to know except him and Ango. It was suspicious and strange but she also seemed to be telling the truth.
Just then, Dazai’s face started to grow insanely pale, shaking away the thought before crumbling the empty envelope in his fingers with a scared mutter. “What is your name?”
Her response was immediate, causing the fifteen year old boy’s eyes to widen and his world to come crashing down around him. “Asagao Oda.”
Suddenly, it felt hard to breathe, to think as the boy’s lips slipped out a breathy gasp in reply. No, it couldn’t be. She was fucking with him. There was no way, there was no way he wouldn’t have known about that. Oda was his best friend and he never mentioned this.
Shaking his head in denial, Dazai’s hand began to shake on his gun, his teeth gritting together as he shoved the barrel further into her hidden temple. “Now I know you’re lying. How about you try again?”
The stranger could see this also though, her body moving once again in order to prop herself up onto her elbows and put her hands out in some kind of defense. “I know it’s probably hard to believe but I am..I’m....
Yet the moment Dazai saw movement, his crazed eyes snapped down to the girl before reaching forward in order to grasp onto the top of her hood with a furious shout.” Bullshit, who are you?!”
How dare she deceive him by telling such crazy lies. She would pay for that, for soiling Oda’s honor. He just had to know who she really was first.
Pulling the black fabric down a moment later, Dazai’s gun wasted no time, slamming the barrel into her chest as the girl fell off balance and back onto the floor with a breathy gasp. Now to see who this witch really was.
Yet the moment he adjusted his eyes, Dazai found the very same deep crimson hair he knew for years, pouring down around the sides of the hooded jacket as he stared down at her deep blue cavendish eyes that he had looked into so many times before.
Oh my god, she was a spitting image of his old friend, Odasaku.
But how could that be?
He watched her groan at the sudden force, her eyes squinting behind a pair of large round glasses that took up the majority of her face before opening them again and looking at the gun pointed at her chest.
And though she was so close to death, the girl didn’t dare move, her eyes locking back to the boy’s before Dazai felt his voice break with utter shock.
In that moment, for a split second, the boy didn’t feel like a mafia executive but rather just a confused fifteen year old boy, his voice incredibly small.  “It can't be..Odasaku had a little sister..?”
Because if this was true, why didn’t Odasaku mention her, why didn’t he tell him about her? He thought they were friends. But was that wrong? What else did he hold back from the boy?
Yet the moment Oda’s name slipped from his lips, the girl's eyes widened before lifting her hands up to his black jacket in order to utterly ignore the gun that was pressed to her chest. “Wait, you know my brother? Where is he? Please tell me..”
She sounded desperate, the action causing Dazai’s finger to float above the trigger before those horrible memories of his best friend's death flashed through him once more. If she really was his sister, then he knew she’d never find him.
Because of that, the boy told the truth, his voice dull and cruel. “He’s dead.”
And then he waited, he waited for the girl to cry, to scream, to plead with him for something that was already determined and carried out. That’s what the normal response would be, that’s what everyone else did when someone died.
Well, not Dazai but literally everyone else.
Instead, the girl who claimed to be Odasaku’s sister only stayed silent, fingers not moving from his jacket in order for her to close her eyes with something that Dazai read as disappointment before she muttered sadly. “Oh, I see. I hoped that wasn’t the case.”
Pausing for a moment, Asagao then added softly. “How did he go?”
Flashes of that day began to play in his head once more before the boy decided to give her the truth, knowing it wouldn’t matter either way. “He was murdered. I saw it myself.”
Once again, the large rimmed glasses girl only remained silent, like she was thinking something to herself before Asagao replied back sadly. “That must have been very hard on you. I’m sorry..”
And for a moment, Dazai paused. Why was she saying that? Wasn’t she Odasaku’s sister? Surely she sould’ve been the one more broken up about this information. It was like she didn’t even care.
No, that wasn’t right. It was more complex than that. She looked sad enough, but it seemed like she couldn’t make some kind of connection in her brain. In fact, the strange girl showed more emotion towards a total stranger than herself. How strange.
Because of that, the boy turned his head in curiosity. “Why do you say that?”
Asagao only smiled though, the tips of her mouth not quite reaching her eyes as she glanced over to the two glasses of whiskey next to them. “Because if I know one thing, it’s that anyone that pours a drink for the dead truly valued their life.”
Sighing to herself, the girl then looked back to the gun that was holding her hostage before nodding. “Either way, thank you for telling me, and for being there with him in his last moments. I’m grateful to you for that. At least now I know he was truly loved by someone.”
Grateful? Now that was a new one. Usually his enemies weren’t grateful for the torture they received. And Dazai would be lying if he said he wasn't fascinated by the different and strange response.
So much so, a sadistic smile spread across his face without meaning to. “Should you really be thanking me when I have a gun pressed to your chest?”
The girl then paused before glancing back down towards the gun in order to lift her fingers up and press the barrel further into her chest with a sad smile that Dazai couldn’t decipher.
And when she spoke, it brimmed with so much honest passion. “Now that I found out how much you treasured my brother, I wouldn’t mind dying if it’s you that pulls the trigger. Then maybe I could finally feel close to him..”
Pausing slightly at her honest declaration, the boy processed her words with interest and confusion. No one had ever said that to him before. No one had wanted him to be their executioner before. How strange
And it was no secret that Dazai didn’t think much about life, calling it meaningless and pointless. Hell, he had tried to die hundreds of times in order to finally painlessly drift away from such mediocrity.
But staring at the girl that somehow wore his best friend's face, he couldn’t help but be intrigued by her. She didn’t seem scared of death like others. Her face wore a sense of peace and calm he had never seen before from a victim of his.
No, that’s not right. She was scared of death, of course she was, but somehow this stranger found comfort in him pulling the trigger. And for a moment he wanted to ask why, to figure out the methods and inner workings of the girl who claimed to be Odasaku’s sister.
Yet the moment his fingers graced the trigger once more, the door next to them seemingly slammed open in order for another voice to enter the space.
And this time, they sounded stressed. “What do you think you’re doing?!”
Then all at once, both Dazai and Asagao turned in unison only to find a very familiar frazzled man staring back at them, the girl speaking first. “A-Ango?”
Ango only narrowed his eyes though, the man gazing at the very strange and suggestive position the two were in before shaking his head in disbelief. Dazai was practically straddling the poor girl right now with his thighs and without context things did look slightly odd.
If the gun wasn’t there the man surely would’ve thought something else was going on.
Dazai didn’t seem to care about that though, his head turning in confusion at the strange girl. Wait, she just said his old friend's name. That meant.. “You know him?”
Asa didn’t have time to reply though, Ango quickly pointed to the red haired female before speaking with exasperation. “You..what are you doing here?”
The man then gave Dazai a look, causing the boy to sigh and finally let his captive go in order to put the gun back in his hollister. Ango didn’t seem on edge by her which meant that she wasn’t a threat, currently..
Feeling her lips curve up into a goofy smile, Asa then simply leaped from the floor in order to race towards Ango with her arms open wide as she beamed. “Ango! What a surprise, I guess this our first time meeting. How awkward, am I right? Ha ha ha. Small world. That’s crazy, really.”
The man only sighed though, already expecting her moves before placing a hand on her face and pushing her back lightly in order to stop the assault. “I knew you’d come here. Good thing I had the government track your movements just in case. Looks like I got here just in time.”
Frowning at the rejection, Asa then pouted her lips before rubbing the spot where his hand was just moments prior. “Well that’s a little invasive..”
Ango didn’t feel as carefree though, the man immediately putting a hand to his temple in the sign of a headache. “Obviously it was needed. Did you not listen to your brother’s instructions? He said for you to stay out of Yokohama, to not go looking for him. Or did you forget that?”
Dazai then watched the girl pause before dropping her hand in order to awkwardly laugh in a fake cutesy manner. “I may have chosen to admit that part from my memory. Oops?”
Shrugging her shoulders in reply, Ango only shook his head, obviously over her antics. “Oops? That’s all you have to say? Seriously Asagao, what would Oda say..?”
Yet at the sound of Oda’s name, Dazai felt his head perk up. Even Ango was mentioning Oda and her together. That could only mean one thing. The things she was claiming were true, weren’t they?
Not wanting to believe it, the boy called out. “Ango, was she telling the truth? Is she really..”
Although before he could finish, Ango simply put a hand up, not wanting to deal with such a revelation for some reason. “Dazai, please..”
The way he was shutting him down was strange, almost like the man didn’t want Dazai to put together the facts that Odasaku had a little sister and that she was standing before them. But why? Why was Ango, a traitor, allowed to know and not him?
Something was off about all of this.
Just then, his thoughts got interrupted as Asa gasped loudly, her eyes turning towards the boy in excited disbelief. “Wait, Dazai? As in Osamu Dazai? No way, for real?!”
And before he could process it, the girl was up in his face, her blue eyes piercing his through her circular frames in order to look at him like some sort of rare museum artwork she had just found.
Speaking happily, the girl beamed. “Oh wow. I can’t believe it, brother wrote about you in his letters. I feel like I already know you…”
She then reached her fingers out to touch him, causing the boy to counter only for Ango to do so for him, his voice firm. “Asagao!”
Then Odasaku’s sister’s face lit up with some kind of realization before taking a step back with a sort of bashful smile. “Ah, right. Personal space. Sorry, my bad. I got excited. I just wanted to take a good look at you. I guess most people would think that’s rude though. My bad. You probably think I’m some sort of freak now. Ah, well that’s nothing new really.
Putting her hands up in defense, Asa then backtracked. Well she tried, but Dazai could still see the giddy glee in her face, almost like she was trying to suppress it. “I'm just really happy to meet you, that’s all. I just know we can be good friends. Oh! I know, what if..”
Ango only stopped her again though, almost like he was afraid of what she was going to say next. “Asagao…”
Turning her head, the girl hummed in confusion, obviously not seeing anything wrong. “Hmm?”
The government official only frowned though, his hands moving up to hover over her mouth with an exhausted sigh. “Stop talking.”
Asa didn’t seem offended though, her brow turning down in understanding before nodding with an apologetic smile. “Right, sorry. Overdoing it. Got it.”
Shaking his head in exasperation, the government official then turned away from her before pointing to the very curious mafioso that was watching. “Dazai, I need to see you outside. And you..”
Asa pointed to herself at that, turning her head innocently. “Me?”
Nodding once, the man continued roughly. “Yes you. You better not move a muscle cause when I come back I’m sending you right back home.”
Dazai then watched her lips open with pure shock in order for her voice to come out in a whine of protest. “Whaaa? Come on Ango. That’s not fair. I just..”
Ango only cut her off though, his tone serious. “It’s not up for debate. Your brother is gone and I promised him that you would never get involved in this. I’m not going against his wishes and neither will you. Now pack your bags and get ready. We leave tonight.”
Then before she could protest, the man pushed Dazai out of the small apartment door, the boy looking back at the strange new girl only to watch her eyes flash to his in some sort of unexplainable longing before the door covered the sight.
And call him crazy but it looked like she didn’t want him to go.
How strange, he had never seen that kind of response from someone before. Usually they were glad to be rid of the demon, of the boy that had plagued their life. If anything, Asa should’ve been thankful that the guy that had threatened her just moments ago was leaving.
But somehow she wasn’t, and that intrigued him a lethally dangerous amount.
-------------
The cold crisp air hit him immediately, the feeling soaking into his bones and yet Dazai couldn’t focus on anything but the closed door just inches from his face. So much so, his fucked up mind started to run in all different directions without permission.
And he’d be lying to say he wasn’t desperate to know what was going on behind Odasaku’s sister's eyes. He wanted to pick at her brain, to pry it open and see for himself the strange puzzle he had just discovered.
He had a lot of toys but she was something different. It made him want to play around with her more often, to see what other interesting and amusing expressions she could make besides the ones tonight.
Feeling his gaze focus more sadistically in thought, the boy suddenly took out his thoughts by his ex friend’s voice, a sense of warning in his tone. “Dazai, don’t even think about it.”
The mafioso then closed his eyes before finally letting go of the thought in order to turn towards Ango innocently. “Whatever do you mean?”
He only glared though, already knowing the naive tone was an act. “Don’t start. I know you better than anyone. You’re thinking about going back in there and manipulating Oda’s sister for something, aren’t you?”
He wasn’t wrong. The boy had wanted something from her, but it was only to figure out more about her. Did that include messing around and being a little underhanded? Well, how else would he do it? That was his signature.
Yet at the sound of Oda’s name, Dazai paused. No, he could decide all that later. Right now he needed answers. “Ango, what’s going on? Odasaku never said anything about having a little sister. How do you know her? Why didn’t he tell me?”
The information felt like a sting, coursing up the boy’s entire throat. He thought Odasaku and him were best friends. He thought they were close, that they knew everything about each other. But now it was obvious that he was keeping secrets this entire time.
But why, what was the reason?
Ango only sighed though, his fingers moving to his glasses in order to push them up. “It’s a long story, Dazai. I’ve actually never met her before. Oda simply put me on the phone once when he was drunk. None of that matters though. You need to forget you’ve ever seen her. No one is supposed to know she exists . She wasn’t ever even supposed to be in Yokohama.”
Pausing, the boy frowned. “Why?”
His old friend then shook his head in order to speak sadly. “Because Oda knew about the kind of people in his life, he knew what they could do to her. That's why he sent her away, so she could be safe. And regardless of what happened between us I still will fulfill his wish. He was my best friend.”
At the sound of his explanation, Dazai couldn’t help but scoff. Best friend? Yeah right, he didn’t have the right to say such a thing anymore. Not after what happened. “Says the man that betrayed us and the port mafia.”
He then watched Ango flitch in order to dip his head in shame. Dazai still hadn’t forgiven him for the betrayal after all. This government official snuck into the port mafia as a spy and he was just supposed to trust everything he said?
No, those bonds were already broken.
Ango then paused before finally speaking again, his fingers balling into a tight fist of emotion. “I don’t expect you to forgive me, Dazai. But those nights at Bar Lupin meant something to me. You both meant something to me. That’s why I’m here in the first place. She needs to stay out of this.”
Although that’s when his eyes flicked up in order to lock eyes with the young executive. “And that means she also needs to stay away from you.”
He looked so serious, so odd that Dazai couldn’t help twist his lips into a cruel tight lipped smile. The way Ango was glaring at him, it looked like he was viewing the boy as evil incarnate.
And though he wasn’t wrong, the boy remained silent. What a scary expression.
Noticing his silence, Ango continued. “You asked why Oda never mentioned her to you. It’s because destruction and corruption follows you everywhere, Dazai. He knew how black your soul is and what you could do to her if given the chance. The demon prodigy has no place out of the darkness, and I'm sure you know that also.”
Dazai then felt his lips fall open with understanding, a low pain in his chest as he was hit with the reality. Was that really why Odasaku never mentioned his sister, because he was scared of his best friend destroying her?
Ango mentioned him sending her away in order to be out of reach of the dangerous people. Did that include him also? Was Odasaku scared of the boy, of his twisted personality that much? Dazai didn’t know, and that scared him.
But then again, it made sense.
He was a demon, that fact was very well known.
Perhaps Odasaku was right. If he did get his hands on Asagao then she would surely become tainted and destroyed like everyone else in his life. He was a poison, and his best friend was just trying to keep his little sister from ingesting it.
Feeling a hand on his shoulder, the boy then looked up from his unraveling thoughts in order to find Ango’s serious and unwavering stare. “ So I’m telling this now, Dazai. Walk away. Don’t get involved.”
Then the man simply let his hand fall before putting his hand on the doorknob with a sad mutter under his breath. “Let the last piece of Odasaku be untainted, for you and me both.”
Just like that, Ango was gone, leaving Dazai alone in the darkness as it swallowed him whole once more, the familiar black covering his entire silhouette.
And for once, Osamu Dazai didn’t argue with his ex-friends command.
Almost like he knew that he was right, that Odasaku’s sister shouldn’t ever go near him.
----------
Ango felt the bright lights hit his eyes as he made his way into the small apartment in order to squint and walk around the living room with a heavy weighted sigh of exhaustion. This night was far too stressful. Ah well, at least it is over now.
Yet the moment he entered the space, the man was only met with silence, causing his ears to ring with fear. “Asagao?”
Frowning, Ango then moved over to the small table in the corner only to find a tiny yellow sticky note on the surface as the black colored ink mocked him all at once.
Ango,  If you wanna bring me back then you gotta catch me first >:D
Crumbling the paper between his fingers, the man then looked up only to find that the fifth story window was open, the sharp breeze stunning him into silence. No, it couldn’t be.
She was gone.
“Asagao!”

You and Cas split up from Sam to take the barn. You're not afraid of what could be in there, not when you're very powerful so you walk on in without so much as a care. You walk to the back and see Amelia lying on a dirty old mattress. There are at least a dozen other people lying on different cots in the back room. All of them asleep in their own beds.
"Is that your wife?" you ask.
"Amelia!" Cas runs over to her while you stay where you are. She moans in pain but she doesn't open her eyes. "Oh, Amelia."
She finally opens her eyes and she becomes rageful and emotional because she thinks Cas is her husband. She tries hitting him but Cas holds her down easily.
"I looked everywhere for you!"
"It's okay."
"I tried to find you! You took my husband!"
Cas pulls her in and she loses the fight against him. She slumps against his chest and starts crying.
"Shh. Shh. It's okay. It's okay." Once Amelia has calmed down, Cas puts two fingers on her head to heal her but it doesn't work. He hovers his hand over her arms that's littered with cuts but they don't heal either. He doesn't bother asking you to heal her because he knows you won't. "Sorry. I'm usually able to heal any wound."
"I was dreaming. This whole time, I was dreaming of finding Jimmy, of putting my family back together. You're not him anymore. I can tell," she sighs.
"No."
"Where's Jimmy?"
"Your husband is in Heaven. Amelia, I promised to protect your family, and I failed."
"Not if Claire's alive. She's all that matters."
"Claire is alive. She's grown up to be a very strong-willed young woman."
"Oh, that's my girl," she smiles. "I just ... I shouldn't have ever left her. I thought if I could find Jimmy, I would make everything right. I should've never left her."
You walk to the window and peer out of it, spotting Dean and Claire with guns drawn. This is perfect, actually. Cas checks on the other women inside the room while Amelia stares at her bed with tears.
"How long have I been like this?"
"Two years."
You hear footsteps and walk out into the main room, and Dean aims his gun at you. He relaxes once he sees it's you and you look at Claire. You don't say a word when she goes inside the room, and she stops when she sees her mom.
"Claire? I'm so sorry." Claire runs to her mother and they embrace emotionally. "Baby, I'm so sorry. I'm so sorry!"
"You and Sam didn't answer your phones. Where is he?"
"The house."
"Let's go find him. Claire." She turns to him. "Stay here, okay? Do not move."
"Okay," she sniffles. "Thank you. Thank you, both."
You leave with the two men and enter the house. Dean has his gun drawn, Cas has his angel blade and you don't have a care in the world. You're not afraid of some angels. While they want to be quiet, you walk right into the kitchen and see a chair overturned with handcuffs. Looks like Sam was trapped and now he's not. A board creaks from behind you and you turn to see Sam swinging something at you. You grab it before it can hit you and toss it on the ground.
"Careful where you swing that thing."
"What the hell happened?" Dean asks.
"Listen, Holloway is a Grigori."
"Yeah, we know."
"Grigori? No, they were some of the first angels on Earth. It was an elite unit that went bad, but they're extinct. They were destroyed," Cas says.
"Some survived, and they've been hunting humans, making them create Heavens in their minds and feeding off them."
"Where is this abomination?"
"I don't know. I looked everywhere. He must've left."
"You sure leaving Claire all by her lonesome was a good idea?" you grin.
All three men immediately run out of the room and you follow behind them leisurely. By the time you enter the barn, Claire and Amelia are on the ground with Amelia bleeding from a stab wound in her gut. Holloway goes to stab her again but Cas interferes and tackles him to the ground. They fight but Cas doesn't exactly win this one. Sam pulls Holloway off Cas and turns him so that Dean can deliver a punch to his face. Holloway kicks Dean in the chest and headbutts Sam from behind. It's clear none of these men are going to win this fight so you casually walk over to him, and he turns with a glare on his face. He brings the sword down on you but you grab the blade before it can penetrate you. Red magic pours from your body and your eyes shine red.
"I don't think so."
"No, you can't be real. The Scarlet Witch is just a rumor."
"I'm flattered you've been talking about me," you grin. "Too bad you won't live to tell anyone else." You yank the blade away from him and toss it to the ground before grabbing his throat. You force him to his knees and he stares at you with such fear that it gives you joy. "You are no match for me but it sure was cute to watch you try."
You put your fingers on his forehead before touching yours and immediately, his power begins seeping out of him. You breathe it in until there is nothing left, and you crush his throat in your hands. He falls to the ground, dead, and you look at the brothers with hooded eyes and a smirk.
"You're welcome."
"Mom?" Claire gasps. Amelia is lying on the ground with blood coming out of her mouth but she isn't moving. "Mommy, please stay with me. Mom? Mom! Mom, I'm sorry. I'm so sorry. Mom, please."
Now my patience has run out.
"Okay, I'm going to ask one more time." Everyone but Claire looks at you. "Cas, where are my kids? I know you know where they are." Sam and Dean look at each other with fear but Cas won't back down so easily. Still, no one answers you. "No one wants to answer me? Fine." You grab Claire by her hair and yank her up to her feet. You pin her to your front and wrap your hand around her throat. The other arm is wrapped over her chest and gripping the opposite shoulder. All three men immediately move toward you but you flash your eyes red. "Take one more step and I'll snap her neck."
"Castiel," she whimpers but you tighten your grip on her throat.
"Where. Are. My. Kids."
"I don't know."
"I don't believe you. I have been looking for them for the past two weeks, and they have not shown up on any camera across the country. They are children. They go outside and play. Tell me how they are able to do that and not get picked up by a single camera. I know you had something to do with that."
"Please, just let her go and we'll talk," Cas begs.
"I gave you the chance to tell me and you lied. Now I'm forcing your hand. Tell me who is more important to you. Your wannabe fake daughter or my kids?"
"Don't tell her," Dean says. "I don't care what she does but don't tell her where they are."
"It's kind of hard to talk without a mouth, Dean, isn't it?" Immediately, Dean's mouth is gone and he panics as he touches his face. Sam watches with wide eyes, too scared to say anything. "Tick-tock, Castiel. I'm waiting."
"Please, don't do this."
"Please don't do this? That doesn't sound like a location to me."
"Castiel, please," Claire whimpers.
You pull her in tighter and put your mouth next to her ear.
"Don't worry, sweetheart. Mommy and Daddy are waiting for you in Heaven. Or is it Hell? I'm not sure where they ended up." You look at Cas. "You have three seconds to tell me or she's dead. Three."
"Please, Y/N, don't do this. Let her go and we'll talk."
"That's not a location. Two."
Castiel looks at Sam and Dean with sad and guilty eyes. He opens his mouth but nothing comes out of it. He doesn't know what to do. Guess I'll have to make the decision for him.
"One." You immediately snap Claire's neck and she falls to the ground, dead. Castiel yells out in anger and lunges for you but you blast him and the brothers backward. "I told you what would happen. Consider this a lesson learned."
You walk out of the barn and Cas crawls over to Claire with tears in his eyes. Dean sucks in a breath and realizes his mouth is back. Cas holds Claire's body in his and rocks her, sobbing loudly. Suddenly, she gasps awake and jerks in his arms, and all three men look at her with wide eyes. You killed her. She was dead.
"How is she alive?" Sam asks.
"I don't know."
Cas doesn't question it. Claire is back and that's all that matters. He sobs and pulls her into a hug while she looks around with frantic eyes.
"She killed me. She fucking killed me."
Claire has to get far away from all of this and there is only one person who will take her in without question. Jody Mills might have her hands full with Joanna, Maryann, Noah, Zeus, Colonel, and Alex but she is eager for another kid to come to her in time of need. Plus, it'll be nice to have another girl Alex's age for her to hang with. She'll know your kids are with Jody but as already talked to Jody about keeping it a secret from everyone else.
"Someone has to do something about Y/N. She killed me," Claire says to Sam.
"We're working on it," Sam sighs.
"So, what? Are you sending me to some sort of halfway house for wayward girls?"
"No. Not at all. Jody Mills is good people, and she'll give you a place to crash until you get back on your feet. It's not forever, right?"
Sam looks over his shoulder at Dean and Cas who is talking off to the side.
"What are you gonna do about Claire?" Dean asks.
"It's not up to me."
Sam walks away from her and Dean walks away from Cas, switching places with his brother. Dean takes a present out of his car and hands it to her.
"I felt bad about taking the gun back."
She opens it to see a DVD of Caddy Shack and a book titled 'The Enochian Myth'.
"Thanks but I don't think I'm interested in any more homework."
Dean takes the book but kneels in front of her bag. He opens it and lifts the sword the Grigori was using out of her bag.
"Do you honestly think I didn't see you take this?" He puts the sword back and lifts the plush cat Cas got her. "Really?" He puts the cat down and shoves the book inside along with the DVD. "I'll just put these in here." He stands up. "You know, Claire, you already got your revenge. If you go down this path... our path... It's not a long life."
"I don't know. You seem pretty old." Dean scoffs playfully and shakes his head. "Listen, what I did, setting you up, I'm sorry. I just... I shouldn't..."
"Forget it. It's in the past."
"Are you going to be okay?"
"Me? I don't know, but I will keep fighting. I'll keep swinging until I have nothing left."
"Will you keep an eye on him?" Both of them look at Cas. "He's been through enough."
"So have you. Claire, do your homework before you do anything stupid, okay? We're here if you need us, any time." A cab pulls up to the parking lot of the motel that will take her to Jody's place. "I'll get you loaded up."
"Um, Claire." She turns to him. "If you, um, if you... need anything, ever, I'm ... I'm ... I just wanted you to know that..."
Claire cuts him off by hugging him. That's as much as an apology that he's ever going to get from her. They part and Dean opens the back door of the cab for her.
"Dean?" she says through the open window.
"Yeah?"
"Y/N's going to get better, right?"
"I hope so."
"Don't give up on her."
"I won't."
