Jirou doesn't care about your financial status at all. The thought of it has never crossed her mind.

Not until you go shopping with a couple of classmates. While others buy stacks of clothing without looking at the price tag, you have to carefully calculate what you can get while still keeping some money to get lunch later.

Speaking of lunch, she noticed that you got water while others got a soda. Nothing weird right? Water is great. That is until she notices that you get the cheapest meal possible. Just a bowl of noodle and the free rice the restaurant offers.

After that, Jirou paid more attention to you. She would pay for dates, buy snacks for you, sneak a couple of yen into your pocket when you weren't looking.

Anything she tried, you always refused. The snacks were left uneaten, the yen got handed back to her.

"Hey," Jirou says. You hum as you look over at her. A goofy smile is plastered on her lips. "Wanna go to the movies? There's this awesome new thriller.".

Shit. Fuck. You force your smile to stay on your lips, though it wavers for a second. You don't enough money for the movies. You barely have enough money to get yourself lunch tomorrow. Maybe you can ask Izuka for some lunch. Or you'll just have to suck it up until dinner.

You quickly nod. "I get it, no worries. It's my treat.". She states it so simply like it's nothing. You look at her with eyes as big as saucers. You can't even remember the last time you went to movies. At least two years ago.

"You don't have to, it's fine. I can pay-". Jirou doesn't even let you finish. She stands up from her place on her bed and sits down on the floor next to you. She awkwardly gives your shoulder a couple of comforting pets.

"It's nothing. And I'd rather go with you then alone so it's really more for me," Jirou says. You smile brightly at her. You happily nod at her. She stands up again quickly, holding a hand out for you to grab. "Now, come on and watch this damn movie with me.".

She doesn't mean to, but she just doesn't understand that money can be an issue for some. She is used to living in luxury and being able to buy whatever she wants.

So when she takes you shopping with her and you don't buy anything, she's confused.

"I just don't like the clothes" you lie. Really, you just can't afford to spend more than 1000 yen on a shirt.

She does find it strange that her room is filled her luxury furniture while you have nothing but the stuff school gave you. The only decoration you have are a couple of pictures taped to your wall.

Naturally, she buys a ton of stuff for you and spoils you to death so she doesn't notice your money problems until she's over at your house for dinner one day.

The cheap furniture is a huge contrast between what Momo is used to in her home. The array of scents coming from the kitchen are stuck swirling around the living room. Poor ventilation, she mentally notes. Momo bows for your parents while saying vocalizing her gratitude.

You just stand beside her with warmed up cheeks as wave after wave of embarrassment washes over you. You were reluctant to let Momo stay over for dinner. If you would look up the meaning of a rich girl, you would see a picture of her. So letting her in your home was embarrassing. You weren't too poor. No, you were able to afford to go to the UA. You are just less financially stable than most of the students at the school, if not all.

Your parents scurry off to the kitchen to finish preparing dinner but not before whispering praises to you for what good taste in girls you have. You claps a hand over your eyes to hide your embarrassment. "I'm sorry," you say, voice muffled by your hand.

( mort here btw i wont be using this blog Much until around february or after but just a heads up for how this blog is gonna work since its gonna be a little different from my other ones!!!! since some friends followed bc i was messing around w kayden )

SO! not negative in any way but a disclaimer about this blog! im not often open about it but i have a dissociative disorder as a result of childhood trauma. the Old, Out Dated, and like, Not Really Good term for disorders like these is ‘multiple personality disorder’, to give unaware people an idea on what im talking about. i am technically diagnosed with DID (dissociative identity disorder) but it was from a psychiatrist i only saw once and wont be able to see again, so i usually refer to my disorder as OSDD (other specified dissociative disorder) instead, which is sort of like DID Lite, and often used for people with symptoms of DID but who dont fit the criteria 100%. i use this term instead of technically having the DID diagnosis, because amnesia between “personality” switches is somewhat common with DID from what i know, and i do not experience that as severely as some other people i know who also have DID, so im not comfortable using “DID” to describe myself until i see another psychiatrist that i will be able to meet with for more than one session

im coming out about this because i will be co-running this blog with my alter, Lesley. (an ‘alter’ is what we in the OSDD/DID community refer to our ‘other personalities’ as, since they are essentially their own, individual people who just happen to share the same brain/body. les is not really me, and vice versa.) she’s wanted to write coco for quite a long time now, but we realised it was going to be hard to do so without people going “mort is that you?” so after some thought, we’ve decided it would just be best to come out about our disorder and co-run the blog, so she can write most of the dialogue, and i can write most of the Non dialogue, since she’s not as good at that.

i understand that this is likely rly confusing!!! so for all ooc posts we’ll be using alternate faceclaims so people can differentiate us, and we’ll try to sign off ooc tags/posts/DMs with “M” for mort or “L” for les. our ooc typing styles and tones are a lot different as well, but i know not everyone can pick up on that so we’re going to try to make it as clear as possible who is who and i hope everyone will be patient with us and willing to deal with the confusion. i’ll try to stick to using meowth as my faceclaim, and les will try to stick with using pikachu (she LOVES pikachu). im gonna put a little divider here now and let let finish up this post-

literally kill me all of them bias wreck me so hard bUT hyunjin, jisung, seungmin, and chan have been wrecking me so hard in particular lately

5: What line would you want to be apart of in Stray kids? uHHH not dance line bc swimmers have 0 coordination on land; i quite like singing even tho i’m not good at, so probably that, but i can also hit all of chan’s english rap parts in 3racha songs, and keep up with lafayette’s raps in hamilton, and a lot of the english rappers i like too so uh,,, sign me up for rap line too

i love their current optimistic and slightly rebellious teenager concept rn bc its an Eternal Mood; but i always love myself a soft boyfriend concept

10: if you could meet with the members of Stray kids for one day what would you say to them?

how proud of them i am, and how proud of themselves they should be; i would tell them about how they’re saying things that resonate deeply for their fans and i love that they’re talking abt real world problems; i would also make sure to tell them (chan and 3racha especially) to make sure to rest more, and eat well, and take care of themselves emotionally as well as physically; and finally i’d like to tell jeongin how wonderful he is and that he’s doing so much at such a young age (lmao he’s actually eight months older than me but that’s no the point) and to never lose his cute little smile
