carmy and syd just sitting outside the back of the restaurant benches on the last days before they part ways (show ending)
they are friendly and smiling sharing stories
i will always love you sydney tells him with a small smile
me too syd carmy with the same sad smile
but they don't say goodbye (immortality by celine dion coded)
i’m ruining my brain even more by imagining sydney and carmy having a moment at one of the restaurant tables during break and a shot of him looking at that spot remembering and smiling.
(song inspiration the alcott by the national)

small list of ideas i want to write! like this post or lmk if you’d like to plot any of them!
—corruption concept where this bad influence gets a glimpse of something darker in a cool, popular muse and brings it out to the surface! basically jd and veronica vibes.
—athletes or dancers who are supposed to compete against each other but fall into an enemies to rivals to lovers dynamic!
—something based on hacks? specifically deborah and ava’s relationship? basically age gap where a younger muse is hired to help the other muse, a successful comedian, actress/actor, [whatever profession you like] to reach a broader audience and they crash a lot at first but eventually hey it turns out they were born to work together.
—chef x sous chef plot! just know i’ve been thinking about syd and carmy a lot today.
—wlw concept where one of them is willing to do anything to get into a sorority while the other one is the president of said sorority and it begins light and basic but eventually it just turns into a game of chicken trying to see how far they’re willing to take things.
—anything based on good luck, babe!, my kink is karma and if you’re feeling extra dramatic then how did it end?, or chloe or sam or sophia or marcus.
—also something based on lunch… just two muses obsessed with each other where one of them is constantly getting spoiled by her rich partner lol.
—how to lose a guy in ten days idea! the summer i turned pretty idea!
—just this relationship without any labels where two friends are in this casual sex situation where they’re comfortable around each other and they don’t even fuck most of the time but then whenever they’re stressed or upset the other is always there for them. based on this post x.
#── plots.#over and out! ik i owe some starters and i’ll get to them but i just haven’t had it in me to turn on my laptop u know how this goes#indie rp#indie smut rp#plotting call

I'm taking this writer's word with a truckload of salt because they come across as a massive hater to me:
1. @uncriticalbunny points out she misspelled Ayo's dog's name.
2. They describe Sydney as an earnest and occasionally vexing sous chef.
3. They call Claire, Carmy's old friend, despite the fact that they were not friends as they never spoke to one another often, and that Carmy forgot her name.
4. She condescendingly describes Sydcarmy shippers as, "emerging from the mist and pledging allegiance to an imaginary romance." Why devote so much energy to bringing this up and batting it down in the article if it's so improbable and ridiculous?
5. The writer seems to not like Ayo herself or get that Ayo's a comedian, they wrote about her role in Theater Camp as:
"The character that Edebiri brought to the screen vacillates between deadpan delivery and energetic outbursts, which feels reminiscent of her early stand-up work, and occasionally borders on the nonsensical, much like her social media presence. (See her Twitter bio, which identifies her — incorrectly and without explanation — as “Showrunner of The Kominsky Method, now streaming on Netflix, Vudu, and the ITV app.”)"
It seems to me that Ayo could've picked up on this interviewer's weird energy and shrewdly decided to downplay any possible romance for her character in the show. If this interviewer let slip how she felt about Syd and Ayo during the interview itself it must've been loaded with microaggressions. I'm so fucking fed up. 🙁
ayo covers the new issue of the hollywood reporter. in the interview she states that storer has told her his thoughts/plans for s3. she also mentions she understands the carmy/sydney shippers but adds “ … i don’t think they’re going to get what they want.”
