Sorry, it took me a bit to respond to this ask, but I will happily write more about Bi-Han. I'm so tired of reading these out of character headcanons demonizing him, so here's some headcanons that I think make sense for his character. These are mostly random, so there's a little bit of everything. Enjoy!

General:

Bi-Han is a very attentive and observant person. He will immediately notice when someone he cares about is not feeling well and while he won't always address it, he will keep a close eye on them, so he can be there in case they need his help. Kuai Liang complains about having blisters? The next day he'll wake up to a brand new pair of boots on his doorstep. Tomas caught a cold? He will have tea and blankets brought to him in the morning. Bi-Han is not very good at expressing his feelings through words. He doesn't hug his brothers often or tells them that he loves them. His way of showing that he cares is through small gestures or gifts and by making sure his brothers are comfortable and have everything they need.

Taking care of a sick or injured Bi-Han requires patience. Lots of patience. Bi-Han is very stoic and will insist that he's fine until he literally collapses from blood loss or fatigue. In fact, he could be dying and no one around him would have a clue. Bi-Han doesn't like having people fuss over him, especially when there's more important matters to take care of. As the Lin Kuei's grandmaster, he knows that he can't afford to show weakness. He's far too stubborn to ask for help and there's only very few people he trusts enough to let himself be vulnerable around them. After his brothers betray him, he becomes even more closed off and reluctant to trust people.

Bi-Han enjoys literature and music. Only the few people close to him know this, but he loves to read whenever he's not occupied with his grandmaster duties and he's also quite skilled at playing the transverse flute, also called dizi, as well as the lute (pipa).

If asked, Bi-Han would deny that he has any fears, but his biggest fear is loss. Loss of control, the loss of his brothers, his fellow clan members, his partner... Ever since his mother's death, Bi-Han is constantly haunted by the fear of losing the things and people he cares about the most. Ironically, in his efforts to protect those things, he's beginning to lose some of them already, such as his brothers who have betrayed and abandoned him.

Bi-Han is a neat freak. Everything in his closet is sorted by color, he always keeps his desk organized and his room is tidy at all times. He doesn't like cluttered spaces because he finds them suffocating.

Much to the dismay of those who care about him, Bi-Han will often neglect his own needs, always putting the clan's interests above his own. He takes his grandmaster duties very seriously and would do anything for his Lin Kuei. After each mission, he will personally make sure that injured Lin Kuei warriors are taken to the infirmary while the rest of them are resting and recovering. Each time, he checks on his brothers and reminds them to eat and rest up before he even thinks about doing anything for himself.

Bi-Han with a partner:

Although he comes off as cold and distant at first glance, Bi-Han is actually very caring and affectionate deep down. He likes to hold his partner close after a long day, to provide them safety and comfort while he listens to them talk about their own day. He would run his fingers through their hair and smile, feeling content and happy to be with the person he loves the most.

In public, Bi-Han would rarely show affection. He's simply too worried that his partner could become a target for his enemies if anyone saw how important they are to him.

Bi-Han would be very supportive of his partner's goals and dreams, always encouraging and motivating them every step of the way. He knows better than anyone else what it feels like to receive no support for one's ambitions and he wouldn't want his partner to ever feel that way too.

Bi-Han is a workaholic. Whether he's training new initiates or going through paperwork in his office, he rarely takes a break from his duties. When he's hurt or upset after an argument, his coping mechanism is to drown himself in even more work and keep himself busy and distracted from his feelings. It wouldn't be easy to get him to communicate and just talk things out instead, but in time, he would get there. Bi-Han knows that he's a flawed man, but he would never want his partner to feel lonely or unloved and he would appreciate them for refusing to give up on him.

Usually, Bi-Han doesn't like it when people touch his hair, but he would make an exception for his partner. He would even let them braid it and style it however they want. Bi-Han's hair used to be longer than it is now and the few stubborn strands that always escape his bun are a result of him cutting his own hair with an ice dagger. Some strands ended up too short to be tucked away inside the bun and it bothers him a little sometimes. If his partner insisted on it, Bi-Han wouldn't mind growing his hair out a bit again.

-Midas has some control over his Golden Touch. I think of the curse in a way that is similar to chronic pains. Some days, it is manageable, and he can touch whatever he'd like without issue. Some days, it is bad. He has to avoid people, can't eat, and struggles getting through mundane tasks without frustration.

I believe his curse may also be in part tied to his emotions. Any intense anger, sadness, or other strong feelings will make it harder to control the Touch, and it does cause him some amount of pain when it's out of control. (Doing mental gymnastics to explain why Fortnite itself isn't consistent with his power.)

-Jules means everything to Midas. He will do absolutely anything in his power to keep his daughter safe and to keep his relationship with her in good standing. He's wronged her in the past, and is doing all he can to make up for those actions and lost time.

-His time in the underworld changed him a bit. He's less cold to the people close to him. He allows more feeling than pure calculation into his thought processes, but a stranger may not be able to tell. Midas is a relatively closed off man. He does not wear his emotions on his sleeve, and doesn't often make friends without some kind of benefit to be had from the relationship. Be it power or connections. However, the friendships he does have mean a great deal to him. He is quick to provide aid in any way he can to those he cares about.

Another thing about his imprisonment in Hell: Time in the underworld was experienced differently. While we may have waited four years for Midas to return, for him it was much, much longer. Now that he is back, he is determined to never be put in chains ever again.

-My version of him obviously has not left the island after returning from the underworld, instead opting to stay as his curiosity for how things have changed has gotten the better of him. He wants to keep up with the power struggles, and find a way to insert himself back into them.

This blog is semi-independent! Some lore is shared with @perseus-ihatemydad-fortnite in that he helped Midas escape from the Underworld. As well as most often being seen interacting with @kado-fortnite and @valeria-fortnite

Alex takes orders really well, tell him what you want and he will comply with a little smile or smirk and he'll get to work! Headcanon that Kenji also owns a PSP (I always assumed Junpei's handheld was one), and just maybe puts off his studying to play it. I imagine more casual games like Daxter, but maybe also classics like Tomb Raider. Maybe the Metal Gear titles, once Peacewalker comes out. Can see him and Junpei passing that back and forth to figure it out. Maybe him and Makoto pass Megaman X or Powered up back and forth when they're on the train, and Kenji ends up watching him play more than he himself plays it.

It also gives Kenji and Makoto something to do during their sleepover. I dunno if Kenji would have a PS3 even if his family is well off enough to afford a private school, the prices on those things was dumb

I was thinking about the ferris wheel line in my fic, and thought farther Kenji does feel the guy who's afraid of stuff like heights and rollercoasters. But if his friend is also afraid, he'll be brave to make them more comfortable to face that fear.

Starts out ok, Makoto and Kenji focused, Makoto in order to keep the others focused, Kenji because he does not want to take summer or catch up classes.

Makoto's now going to convince Mitsuru to lend him her motorcycle to pick up Kenji for this dance, which will prompt her to ask why, and it will all end with Makoto dressing so fancy and embarrassing Kenji by picking him up on said motorcycle along with flowers and who knows what else lol

Also also I can only see Makoto ships ending up on the roof to dance to their own music, cause the main floor is either too loud or too much drama. Much more fun with just each other.

Don't think I've talked about my thoughts on how affectionate protags are.

Physically, Makoto the least. Barely will touch people or get in their bubble… unless you're someone very close to him. Kenji very used to this, he's usually the one initiating any sorta touch. Until they start dating. Then Makoto is a lot more touchy

Had very short thought of Kenji convincing Makoto to go to a house party (presumably they'd be newly into college, dormmates?), he's heard the things are wild fun! Makoto prob agreed to mostly keep an eye on him, doesn't want Kenji getting into too much trouble.

But very quickly, Makoto is miserable. He doesn't know many people here, it's loud and not in a good way, he wants out. But can't just abandon Kenji, who knows what could happen.

Kenji finally notices, and immediately any fun vibes are dead. Annoyed with himself he didn't think about this, the guy's always wearing headphones of course it's gonna be too loud. Drags Makoto out with him, despite any protests. Realizes he can't have any fun if Makoto's not having fun. He wanted them to have fun together after all.

They finally find a place to sit, and Kenji just tight hugs Makoto, learned during their years of friendship the pressure eases him. Kenji assuring Makoto it's more fun to hang out with just him anyway. Don't worry about it. Let's just go buy a huge pizza and watch bad movies until 6 am

Then they can both be wrapped up in a huge blanket with their pizza, and get to decompress.

Aka two different types of autism, they're still figuring out all the ins and outs of occupying the same space, what they can and can't do together

I'm not as interested in idol or singer AUs - outside of a few specific renditions - but I was sick so it was something I was thinking about

Makoto part of a band as rapper and backup singer, not the most popular member of it, but possibly the most skilled. Been doing music as a hobby the longest and the only one who can rap.

First time Kenji listens to their music, Makoto's vocals really impress him. Listens to the songs with Makoto at the forefront way more, because he really likes his voice. It is not because he finds his voice attractive, don't even insinuate it (that's 100% the reason)

These AUs can go a million ways, so unsure exactly the way I would go with it. - Band coming back to Tatsumi port for a break after a small tour? - Back there for a special concert as a favor to Mitsuru, who's helped pay for tours? - Makoto quits for a bit due to the stress - not doing this for stardom anyway - and somehow him and Kenji meet? - Kenji goes to a meet and greet and is the only one to hold an extended convo with Makoto, everyone else trying to talk to the other band members (maybe Yukari, Aki and Shinji)??

Could even combine multiple ideas. Band returns for a special concert, because Makoto is going on break (public doesn't know this), and Kenji figures it out at the meet and greet because other fans want to talk to the others instead, Makoto offputs a lotta people after all.

Dating Sim AU

Makoto is Kenji's fav character in a game -- if we're being more tropey a side character in a dating sim --who suddenly is romanceable / the game acts as if he romanced him.

Kenji so confused. None of the guys are romanceable, especially not a side character. Is his disc scratched up and the wrong visuals are getting loaded?

But all this dialogue is new... he always did wanna know more about Makoto... nothing's crashed so maybe it'll be ok to keep playing? Maybe it's cut content he somehow activated by doing stuff the devs never expected, he doesn't know.

Unsure if it'd be better to lean into the 'Makoto is sentient' angle, so he can come to like Kenji back and want to be with him. Or whether it is a part of the game that shouldn't have been accessed, but Kenji's sheer affection activated it. Both could be bittersweet because could end it on Makoto will never be real or only his, but I'm a sucker so would like a way for them to have a happy ending.

Then you get the silly but sweet cute visual of a character kissing a screen, because that's the closest they can get to the other.

I'm just a sucker for stories of people being forced to confront their true selves. In this case Kenji coming to accept he likes men through the safe place that is Makoto's romance route.

Android Makoto AU

This one came about while thinking vaguely of Absolute Boyfriend (I haven't read the manga in over 10 years so idk keep that in mind lol)

Makoto made as the perfect house companion android. He's generally the opposite traits of Kenji because of this. Quiet, reserved, not overly talkative and not touchy.

Maybe parents got him because they're gone so often, and can keep their son company (aka out of trouble). But Kenji refuses to treat him like a robot. He looks and acts like a guy, he's gonna treat him like one!

Insert long sequence of events wherein Makoto learns all the stuff about being human, getting to choose what and who he is, and comes to love Kenji, though it may take Kenji even longer to realize he returns those feelings.

They also get to have a cute montage of Kenji dressing him up with everything from his closet, refuses to keep him in boring formal looking stuff, his parents aren't around much anyway, they can suck it up. Makoto comes to treasure the first outfit he was given, the first action that showed him he can be more than others tell him he is.

It's funny how different I think my MC will be to that "Oliver asker's"!

I already mentionned that I can't stomach the "going back to their homeworld" endings in stories like this one, but even past my own distaste, I feel like my MC will be too preoccupied about helping however he can in this world and sort of trying to "make up" to Keyon for the false hope he gave him to really think about going home for the most time. Like, a mix of genuine good will and a true desire to help and a kind of feeling of inadequacy and of being some sort of imposter that has to work hard to prove they deserve people's trust? So basically, I believe he'll be so busy in his own mind with that, that he'll sort of neglect his own "perceived needs" (which would be "going back home"), until at some point he'd simply realize that he IS home - that this new world is what truly feels like it.

So I feel like, the way I see my MC, he'd never go through a phase of wanting to go home because at first he'd just think of more pressing stuff and then he'd feel like he simply belongs in this world and that's it.

Now of course this is all headcanon territorry, but I assume it's a headcanon that will fit in the canon options pretty well? Since I believe you mentionned we'll be able to have our MC change their feelings about the matter a few times during the story and all.

Interestingly though, while I imagine him feeling bad in regards to Keyon and giving him false hope and almost "usurping" his original beloved, I also don't think he'd ever go through a "does he love ME or does he simply see HIM in me" phase. The Sovereign is simply a stranger, so if Keyon falls in love with my MC, then I don't think my MC would feel like it's all about Sovereign after all. Like, they'd have known each other long enough at that point and my MC wouldn't have reasons to doubt Keyon's feelings (he's pretty honest and sort of expects honesty from people too, the way I play him so far).

I don't know why did I go on a tangent here to be fair... I don't have an actual ask or anything! I just started thinking about my MC's thought process and possible evolution when I read that other ask, and I felt like sharing!

Your headcanon is actually a route 🤭 I'm actually kinda surprised so many ppl seem to be interested in the going home route, even after I said it's a disaster route wrote for angst only 🤣 I personally love the idea of immersing into a fantasy world until it feels like home. It may actually be the "right" route as well. While there will be options to change your motivation several times, at the end of the day, the story's goal is to make MC fall in love with the world and the people and care about it more than going home and all that entails. But just to clarify, for anyone else reading this, the option to go home will still be available even if your MC will genuinely want to help and care for the people. But it's a bit of a deal with the devil sort of thing - will MC be happy with the trade? Please keep in mind - angsty disaster route. MC can also have the motivation to go home for the entirety of the story and still turn it down at the very end.

And true, MC can not have those thoughts about Keyon and not compare themselves to OG Sov, but Keyon himself will question things at some point. His route is probably the most affected by how MC treats him though, so it's hard to say what his revelation will be 😅 because I kinda wanna have options to genuinely like him and treat him well... as well as feed into his obsession ✨ All of the ROs will respond to some choices regarding the relationship, but I think his will be the most obvious, at lest with the plot map I have so far. I love HC and tangents so no worries :)) feel free to send them anytime 💕

Boundaries and Parasocial Relationships (I will only say this once)

This is the ONLY post I will be making on the matter, so please feel free to skip if you do not want to hear it again, and don't worry you don't need to hide me to avoid discourse - the rest of my content will remain firmly with only SMUTFIC FAN FUN.

So let's start with the simple. Actors, performers, celebrities: They are PEOPLE with LIVES. They are not CHARACTERS. Paying them for a service does not include the right to cross their boundaries. Just like tipping someone working food service does not give you a pass to harrass them either.

If you feel the need to request something smutty from an actor/celebrity, STOP. THINK. THIS IS WHAT FAN CREATORS ARE HERE FOR!

I'm not saying that you can act inappropriately towards fan creators, I'm saying that those of us making NSFW content are already prepared to hear the horny requests, the thirst comments towards the characters on our posts, the headcanons and self inserts and all of that. Of course you should never expect a creator to make your ideas into fic or art, and asking politely is always preferred. Whilst fic writers generally cannot take paid commissions, artists can and do, so you should also consider commissioning what you want to see and never expect art for free. Sometimes we hear a good idea, though, and get really inspired! We draw or write it because we hear it and thing "well yes darling actually that's very hot" or even "that sounds like a challenge, it could be fun!"

It is important to recognise for your own mental health when fandom is going too far, and to keep the right boundaries for everyone. It is very easy to get carried away with excitement, especially when some performers might share a few risqué pieces of art or content, but when they're sharing it like that it is on their terms, on their time. Making requests during a live stream or through cameo is not the same. I'd also add to think before sharing any NSFW art, fic, or other creations directly to performers - if they haven't asked for it don't send it. Don't tag them in it, either - they have families, careers, and may not want to be as visibly linked to literal porn. If they're looking for that content and want to see it, they will find it. That also applies to sharing other peoples' NSFW creations to the performers or tagging them in replies - unless they specifically state they want to see the content, don't.

Oh man I didn't even remember that part about Athena kids (it's been really long since I last read the series) but yeah that'd make things even more complicated... especially if like, Jamil has to learn to fend off these monsters on his own since a young age and be able to take care of Kalim, I'd think he'd have to quickly learn to be just far away enough from Kalim so that if any monsters attack, he'd be the only one harmed instead of Kalim, which is just awful. I love your suggestions for their godly parents though, they all fit so well but nemesis kid jamil is like extra angst: he's a child of revenge, he probably wants revenge for his life being the way it is, yet he's bound by his position and can literally do nothing about it unless he snaps from the pressure.

I went through your valdangelo tag and there's so much good stuff there! The heavy focus on romantic relationships in HoO felt like Rick just really wanted to pair everyone off before everyone had a chance to develop as an individual or explore other types of relationships with the rest of the cast. I found myself disappointed in several characters and longing for what could've been, even though the pjo series is dear to me. But the beauty of fandom is people can fill in those gaps or rewrite things and the valdangelo stuff definitely counts.

I think Leo wouldn't be putting tons of outward accessories on his uniform but he might add several secret pockets to stores things in, since in this AU I assume he doesn't have the toolbelt. If it's hotter outside he might just wear the vest unbottoned and no blazer, just bc I don't think they allow students to wear zero dorm colours haha. I do think he's likely the type to roll up his sleeves a lot though! And he likely enjoys the PE uniform far more than the usual one. Speaking of which I think Leo'd enjoy the lab classes more since they involve getting hands on and making stuff! And Nico might enjoy the ceremonial robes while Leo'd find them too bulky and stuffy and be on his way out to change the moment any ceremony is over.

I feel like I'm running out of interesting questions to ask about the AU (curse my lack of writing creativity) but I'm starting to work on some doodles and hope to show you eventually! yeah, annabeth talks about it when she's telling percy how much she hates her dad and her stepmom in TLT and it lowkey made me feel sympathy for frederick chase on my reread, just because i really don't know what i would do in the situation that athena put him in lol. of course, he still should've done better to make sure annabeth felt loved and secure even if he hadn't wanted a baby. but i also got to thinking about how that would affect riddle and i feel like it'd be so rough because it's like, at first his mother might think it's good that her child is blessed by the goddess of wisdom because he'll be a natural genius and easily be able to become a doctor just like she wants. but then monsters would start to attack and she'd see it as him bringing danger to their family and anyone else around them. just imagine what it would be like if when he sneaks out with trey and chenya, they get attacked and she finds out about it... also agree with what you said about athena kid jamil. nemesis kid jamil would also be crazy though, because just look at the list of powers we know nemesis herself has:

and while we've only ever seen two nemesis kids in canon, one of whom we know basically nothing about, we do know that ethan nakamura may have tychokinesis because as also explained by the riordan wiki: "this might explain his lucky hit to percy's weak point, which nobody but percy knew at the time."

so like, imagine if jamil inherited that ability too and he knew that in theory he could give himself just a little bit of good luck or give kalim a little bit of bad luck, just to get a tiny bit of revenge, but he doesn't know what exactly might happen and his position makes it too risky to try anything.

honestly, i think i would've been happy if every single romantic relationship in HoO (aside from percabeth of course because it was pre-established. and i guess maybe jasiper too just because it has relevance to piper's arc) had just been developed as a friendship, with hints of it becoming romantic toward the end. like how blood of olympus hints that nico and will like each other, but they really aren't clearly established as actually dating until trials of apollo. and speaking of trials of apollo, i know all of rick's post-PJO series are kind of contentious in the fandom, but i love TOA and this is a big part of why: while there is some solangelo and caleo stuff and of course apollo's past romances are discussed, the platonic/familial dynamic between apollo and meg is by far the most important relationship in that series. and i wish the friendships between the seven were written as well as i feel like theirs is. they all just don't feel nearly as close as they should for the most part.

this discussion about how nico and leo would wear the school uniform reminded me that i once came across a chart of how all the canon students wear it. i went back and found it just now: link. and from the looks of it, yeah, everyone, even kalim and jamil despite how much extra stuff they've added, wears either the blazer/coat or the vest so that their dorm colors are visible somewhere... except for idia lol. even ortho basically wears it post-book 6 but idia is the only student who literally wears just absolutely none of the uniform except for the pants. i agree with everything you said about leo! also, i love the cermonial robes, they are peak aesthetic. i had ceremonial robes idia on the home screen for weeks when i first started the game.

hmm, as for other thoughts about the crossover... i just remembered that in one of my earlier replies i said i wanted to sort luke castellan and alex fierro into dorms but couldn't decide where to put them! so, here's some thoughts on that now:

luke - based on the dorm analysis i linked before, i keep getting the vibe that savanaclaw makes the most sense for him. he certainly has the tenacity, ambition, and athleticism to fit in there, and with how admired and respected he was at camp half-blood prior to his betrayal, i could see him becoming dorm leader. i also feel like to mirror PJO canon he would eventually overblot... and probably die from it in an incident that the school would absolutely try to cover up.

alex - she's genderfluid and is a girl most of the time but again we'll let her into NRC for AU purposes. alex is very clever, cunning and sharp-witted and is even associated with snakes. so i initially wanted to place her in scarabia before remembering that she's also pretty reckless and hotheaded lol. not exactly the embodiment of scarabia's emphasis on careful planning and deliberation. he even canonically hates big parties. i actually think he'd also fit well into savanaclaw! i can see him getting along well with ruggie.

and another random thought i had about nico: i bet he loves what a big deal halloween is at NRC. whether he stays in ignihyde or goes to ramshackle, he's going to be so ready to go all out with decorating the dorm and picking out costumes. and i can imagine him hanging out with the ghosts, trying to give them the best halloween they could have.

I have a lot of characters I like, but as far as absolute faves rn, here's Gambit and Nightcrawler :) thank you so much for this generous ask and enjoy!

Gambit

Gambit's father tried to send Remy to receive formal education as a kid, but Gambit wasn't very cooperative about it (like, at all) and so he never finished

You would hardly know this though, as Gambit is not only, of course, able to read and write perfectly- but he is also bilingual (English and French), can write in cursive, and can read Roman numerals

Gambit grew up Catholic in comic canon, but as an adult he now carries and proclaims himself as atheist (this is also canon, I believe) however, in his heart of hearts, he's really more agnostic

Sometimes in dark hours, he will pray the rosary to soothe himself. That and, very rarely, he can sometimes be found sitting in the local chapel- just to think, he says

Also in comic canon, Gambit dreams of having a family and wants to be a dad one day- as for the headcannon, he'll never say a preference aloud, but secretly he hopes to have mostly girls

He has learned to braid and tie those big, glittery hair bows in preparation for this, but he would die before letting on about either of those skills

This is canon as far as the cartoon is concerned, but just for the record I hc that not only is Gambit indeed a really great cook, but it is also secretly one of his hobbies

Here's something interesting- in comic canon Gambit has his powers surgically reduced by Mr sinister so that he can better control them. For the hc, I believe this is where their red color comes from, but when he was at full power, his eyes were purple

Free fun fact! But this is how you can tell if the gambit I'm writing or drawing is at his full, godly power or not- I intentionally depict him with either color to suit my story/imagination

This might be actually controversial to some, but I am in this category of women myself, so do not fear: Gambit secretly is very (VERY) into curvy women, especially after having grown up in the south (he's a hips and thighs guy, if you're curious)

However, and this is the controversial part, he's one of Those Guys™ that feels ashamed of attraction, so he will very rarely pursue or even entertain them if anyone he knows is watching

If he thinks he can get away with it privately tho- he most definitely will go for it

In a world where he either doesn't end up with rogue or something tho, this weird embarrassment thing goes away entirely as he gets a little older and more emotionally mature

For my followers: this reservation does not exist at all in regards to dad bod Gambit. He proudly enjoys great food AND fine ass women- no holds barred

Gambit's love language is quality time, his myer briggs is ESTP, his sign is Leo, he's about 6'4 (I like to imagine him a little extra tall), and if you see me write/draw him with a dad bod he's at least about 34 years old

Nightcrawler cannot swim, at least- not formally

This has nothing to do with physical ability, but rather that he just never learned, mostly bc he has/had no need

He's never had any formal education either, and only learned to read and write at the monastery in his early 20s

This also means he barely spoke English until meeting the professor- now, he's fully fluent tho

I feel that some people are going to act like this is controversial, even tho it shouldn't be lmao- but I hc that Kurt is a virgin

I don't care what the comics say/imply or how old he is: on this blog he takes his faith very seriously and is waiting for marriage

While he grew up staunchly Catholic, as he has gotten older and had more opportunities to study religion on his own, he later converted to Christianity

On the subject of older Nightcrawler- as he ages, certain attributes of his mutation become more pronounced: his fur grows to a thicker, almost woolly texture, his top fangs are longer and protrude from his lip, and he gains slightly keener senses more akin to Wolverine's

On that note- Kurt's hair is naturally curly (although he does nothing to care for it) so once his fur starts growing thicker, this is where it gains it's interesting sherpa like quality instead of just the short, velvet like fuzz he's known for

While his human disguise changes all the time from comic to comic, I like to headcannon that Kurt's disguise is just his natural face and hair, but with human colors- obviously

I toyed with the idea that his human hair would be red/ginger like mother mystique, but ultimately I hc it to be a very light blonde and his eyes are honey brown

On virtue of being an extremely thin man, Kurt ALSO is strongly attracted to full figured women- unlike Gambit tho, at no point in his life does this attraction bother him nor impede his romantic pursuits

Kurt's love language is physical touch, his myer briggs is INFP, his sign is Cancer, and if you see me draw/write him with a dad bod he's probably about 38 years old

Anyways, my thoughts are below, what are yours?

As far as A's backstory, I sadly have not put much thought into it. I can't recall if it was confirmed A was male or female but I liked to think A was female, as a break from the 90% male cast, honestly. I feel very badly for A. As someone who has struggled with s*icide ideation growing up, it always hurts my heart when young children go through with it. Words can't express the feeling... no child should be pushed to that breaking point. Anyways, A was deeply troubled and had so much pressure, and clearly they saw no way out of their situation. They saw death as their only 'freedom'. Wammy's doesn't sound like the most ethically-run place, but I'll save my thoughts on that for another day.

The only thoughts I have are that I do believe B loved A - for no reason other than I love a traumatic love story. It was unrequited, but B didn't care - he loved A and didn't need A to love him back. He was happy just being around A and was perfectly fine being "best friends forever". I wouldn't even classify it as romantic love, just...you genuinely and unapologetically love this person, and love having them in your life, no matter how that is. No...this love wasn't just black-and-white. Sorry if I'm not making, any sense.

Other than that, I haven't thought of A all that much - so if you have any headcanons, please feel free to submit them. I encourage it and I'd love to read it. Or just @ me in your own posts about it so I could not miss it, if you'd like.

As far as B goes, my thoughts on him have changed quite a bit since re-reading LABB (I had done some headcanons about a month ago before refreshing my memory, so some things I said, I'd like to take back). We know that B was born with the Eyes, but of course, there's no way he could have known what they were, so it took him a while to really understand what it meant. Let's assume by now, he's seen enough death in his life - even indirectly so, such as watching the news - and being as smart as he is, was able to figure out that he was special. At first, before he figured out that seeing numbers and names above peoples' heads wasn't normal, he creeped out his parents by asking, "What do those numbers mean?". He was taken to a few doctors before realizing that it wasn't normal, and at least once was being medicated for a mental illness he didn't actually have. Eventually, once he learned that what he could see was not normal, he lies by admitting that he was just joking. After all, he didn't want to be locked away. Just knowing that he was special, and nobody around him could understand, would be enough to torment anyone. I do think that B felt completely and utterly alone.

I feel like his parents had a strained relationship and at least one of them wasn't around much - I'd like to think he didn't feel much when one of the two died - but the other, he begged not to leave, not to go outside that day, and...well, they did. He felt cursed. He knew that there was something supernatural about him. He had no knowledge of the Death Note, of the existence of Shinigami, but he was just...different.

Now of course, he felt crazy. Part of him wondered if he really was sick, in some way, but what could he do? He struggled. And then, he was taken to Wammy's. The place for "gifted children". Now, we have no backstory of how Wammy found ANY of these goddamned kids, but let me pull something out of my ass real quick for B. I honestly think that he might have specifically requested, if not traveled by foot to the orphanage itself and said, "I'm special, let me live here." If anything, because he had nobody else to take him in. I think he'd do what he could to prove his worth and live there, but either way, Wammy noticed something special was about him. He didn't tell Wammy that he could see lifespans, or see names. He just pulls up saying his full, real name and that was enough to both unnerve and make Wammy curious. B was special after all, so he took him in. The orphanage wasn't great, but it was a place to stay. He'd have food, shelter, and access to comforts he didn't even have while his parents were alive.

And then he met A. As B climbs up the ranks, it's clear he's the "backup". In case A fails. B honestly, didn't care for L at first. He didn't give a single shit, he wanted his own path. What that is, is up to you - but he did not plan on becoming L.

I think B had always been drawn to violence. He'd always been curious about death and by this point, was not afraid of it. His fascination had him buying books, searching the internet, for gore...all in the name of science. He was intrigued by what the human body was capable of, the various stages of decomposition... he was a strange one. If it weren't for Wammy's and the whole L thing, I think he'd've gone on to become an incredible surgeon. Gore, death and blood were not frightening to him, it didn't make his stomach churn. Sure he'd enjoy helping people, but the opportunity to cut people up wasn't all that bad to him either. He'd enjoy the work.

As we know, that isn't how things play out, and he becomes a serial killer...I think A's death was his final tipping point. The final event that just...caused him to snap. He hated L. He hated how A killed themself while trying to become good enough for L. B loved A, and would never forgive L.

fma post-series predictions

with Arakawa's new content coming up on July 12th, 2021, I wanted to share some details I tied together to form a general idea of how the series can possibly continue beyond the canon timeline, based on all the clues in the manga and in brotherhood. Even if Arakawa doesn't follow this theory, at least I'm able to get it out of my system.

Disclaimer: I'm not saying these are canon, or that these should be canon. These are mere observations and some are completely assumptions, so take it with a grain of salt.

Let's start by enumerating the characters' goals in the future, then defining the basic symbols, then drawing out assumptions on how these can be connected.

For this discussion, we'll be following what the silver pocket watch looks like in the manga. I have no idea why both FMA 2003 and brotherhood changed it, so if anyone knows, feel free to share!

Character's goals

EDWARD ELRIC, ALPHONSE ELRIC, CHIMERAS

At the end of the series (both anime and manga), the Elric brothers mentioned two goals.

"a new rule to counter the law of equivalent exchange".

Alphonse told Gracia that receiving "ten" and giving back "ten" only amounts to a zero-sum gain. So he proposed that if they receive "ten", they will give "eleven" in return.

In real life, this could be analogous to how interest rates work.

Gracia then asks Al what keeps them driven to come up with this principle, and he told her it's because of "a little girl we couldn't save."

This leads us to their next goal.

"once we pool what we learn from east and west together, maybe we'll find a way to help those who are suffering from alchemy".

Ed plans to head West, while Al plans to head East. Both of them seek knowledge on bringing chimeras back to their original bodies.

Al also mentioned studying the PURIFICATION ARTS in Xing.

The chimeras also strategized on how they would get their bodies back.

First, they take the soul out of the body and keep it safe in a separate location, then they take the body and separate it. They also cautioned about the "SPIRIT", which connects the soul to the body, and if it gets cut the soul can't come back to the body.

ROY MUSTANG, RIZA HAWKEYE, AND THE MILITARY

There were also two things that the mangahood hinted on what the future has in store for the military officers.

In Volume 16 of the manga, Riza tells Ed that their first priority is to "restore power to the parliament and move the country towards true democracy". Then she also shares that they plan to "negotiate with other nations to reduce our armaments" and "abolish the state alchemist program". Lastly, "end up on trial for the injustices we committed in Ishval".

However, the last plan should be taken with caution. There is an anomaly between the idea of getting hanged for their crimes and what Volume 15 is connotating.

In Volume 15, the highest-ranking priest in Ishval wanted to offer his life in exchange for the lives of thousands just to end the slaughter. However, Bradley tells him that one life is still equal to one life no matter who that person is. (It makes sense, in a way, but then again they only need it for the transmutation circle).

So I'm not sure if Arakawa wants military war criminals to experience death by firing squad or something but I guess it just depends on the way you interpret it.

Sidenote: After hearing about Roy's plan for "self-destruction", it appears that Ed has his own way of telling Roy to "stay alive". When Ed told him "you won't go far in life being that petty", he decided not to pay Roy back until he becomes the Fuhrer. And when that time comes, he'll borrow some more and will pay it back when Amestris becomes a democracy. Roy tells him, "then I've got a long life ahead of me". Ed also tells him "not to worry the Lieutenant."

Manga: Dr. Marcoh tells Roy that he would only use the Philosopher's stone to restore his sight if he agrees to restore Ishval.

Brotherhood: Roy already plans to restore Ishval without knowing that Dr. Marcoh can restore his sight. First, he plans to call off the military occupation from Ishval, then he'll return the holy land to the Ishvalans living in the slums.

In Riza's words, "This may not erase our sins, but it's the least we can do to fix it." (in the English dub but it has similar connotations in the manga)

OUR HEROES FROM XING (LING YAO, LAN FAN, MEI CHAN / MAY CHANG)

For now, I admittedly don't have much evidence on what's to come for them, but I think it's important to note that Ling Yao canonically becomes the Emperor two years after The Promised Day, where he decided to accept all clans.

I think that's all I have for the characters' goals, I'm sure I missed some, so feel free to let me know!

Now that all of that is in place, let's talk about the common symbols and how these are clues to what could possibly happen next after the series.

SYMBOLS AND THEIR CONNECTION

1. The "star" symbol on the silver pocket watch and its relation to the "spirit"

Again, I can't help but notice that the star symbol on the pocket watch looks different in the manga and the anime (and it honestly bothers me) so I'm going to have to rely on what it looks like in the manga.

So let's talk about this symbol.

In alchemy, a hexagram represents "the fifth element", the "quintessence", the unity of all elements [1] (it's Wikipedia lmao but it has citations. I'm too scared to check on other sites, I don't wanna dive too deep into alchemy)

We know that Hiromu Arakawa follows this symbolism since she used triangles for Flame Alchemy

(fire: plain triangle for fire, air: a triangle with a stripe on its top, and earth: an inverted triangle with a stripe at the bottom) [2]

I find it interesting to know that Arakawa specifically placed it on the silver pocket watch.

Caution, this is more speculation than observation and I've used it for my fic. I believe it stands for Time, and time has many connotations. The length of an event, a process from one point to another, and, of course, FMA's theme: immortality.

In an alchemical, philosophical, and chemical sense, time can be seen as the period that a substance exists, also known as volatility.

The volatility of a substance is central to alchemy, where alchemists believe that mercury is the most volatile substance. And it's interesting to note that alchemists code mercury as the Spirit.[3]

Remember when we were talking about the Spirit? About Ed and Al's plan to bring chimera's back to their original bodies?

SPECULATION: I, therefore, surmise that the quintessence, that time, that the Spirit, has something to do with splitting the soul of the chimera and putting the human soul back to the human body.

It's also interesting to note that volatility is a property used in Distillation (both a chemical and alchemical process). In Distillation, a liquid mixture is separated back into a pure component by heating it until the component with the lower boiling point (or higher volatility) evaporates.

And Distillation is one of the 12 Purification Arts that Al talks about, based on the magnum opus [4] [5]

Another interesting fact is that Ed and Al's goal of "fixing the volatility" have been foreshadowed all along.

2. Ed, Al, and Izumi's symbol

This represents the Crucified Serpent, where Arakawa modified it and placed wings and a crown on top of it.

I find it interesting that this site has defined what a crucified serpent means, and at the same time, defines what Ed, Al, and Izumi's symbol meant in relation to that.

So “fixing the volatile” generally means stabilizing the active principle, something which can separate harmful and beneficial elements from each other or even transform the harmful (pure active, too active) into the beneficial (balanced active).

The symbol that Izumi, Ed and Al wear, however, is not the crucified serpent alone. It is the crucified serpent winged and crowned. As we can see in many manuscripts, wings are used to mark progress or advancement of an alchemical solution toward perfection. Crowns mark the final stage of a spirit or solution: perfection, completion, ascension.

If we interpret snake = Mercury = spirit, which is a common symbol chain, then the symbol can suggest that the final “rendering” of the spirit, by death or enlightenment, will produce the pure, perfected, incorruptible spirit that, in alchemical terms, tends to go along with an incorruptible body. In this reading, the symbol indicates immortality, the standard promise of the philosopher’s stone. [3]

Basically, Arakawa is telling us that Ed and Al's goal has always been to fix the volatile or "render the spirit".

From the same quotation, another important factor we should look into is "Mercury", "volatile" and "snakes".

Do you remember another FMA symbol with snakes?

Yes. It is in Riza Hawkeye's tattoo.

This will be the last thing we'll interpret for this post and is the symbol that basically says it all.

3. Riza Hawkeye and the emblem of Flame Alchemy

I'm honestly a little skeptical of the last picture, because, in the mangahood, Riza's tattoo does not look like that, unless this was revealed in one of Arakawa's FMA guidebooks.

Anyway, we see that the snakes in Riza's tattoo look like an inverted Caduceus, which is the staff carried by the Greek or Roman god Hermes or Mercury. It is a symbol for medicine, and it also has Biblical roots where Moses crucified serpents to cure diseases back in the day [6]. Yes, we've gone full circle, we've mentioned the crucified serpent earlier, where it also mentioned the crucified serpents being related to Moses' healing [3].

We also know that snakes = mercury = volatility, and based from soterianyx's analysis:

Master Hawkeye meant for these two representations (the sun and the serpents) to be deciphered as one unit. When sulfur (the sun) and mercury (the moon/the serpents) are placed together, they are usually depicted in alchemical illustrations as the “Red King” and the “White Queen,” respectively. Riza would be considered as the White Queen, and whoever successfully decoded the array as the Red King. [5]

In alchemy, sulfur is related to the sun, fire, ambition, and is non-volatile, and mercury is related to water and volatility (correct me if I'm wrong, also I'm too scared to link it directly here but you could see it as the first result when you search "mercury and sulfur alchemy")

And if you remember that fire has the triangle symbol, and water has the inverted triangle symbol?

Yes, this merge forms the hexagram = the quintessence = time = life!

And in alchemy, this union between two dualities, fire and water, masculine and feminine, the Red King and the White Queen, is called the Alchemical Marriage [7], where two things become one.

Surrounding the largest circle in Riza's tattoo are 12 symbols. These 12 symbols are also known as the Zodiac signs. Interestingly, these signs are also used as a cryptography for the 12 Purification Processses in alchemy (the one we also talked before) [4]. This observation is also noted by soterianyx [5].

What a Cruel Joke

JUST SO YOU KNOW this might be uncomfortable to read since it does have talk about unsafe binding, method isn't talked about but timewise it's mega yikes. Now, I'm only writing this to kinda vent that I can't bind rn and don't have the money to get a new binder- so I'm living in hoodies in ridiculous hot weather and it sucks but I'll cope in torturing my favourite

Amab- pretty much everyone else. Time goes by they/them becuase I want enby time. That's literally it. The others aren't really mentioned but feel free to lemme know your headcanons <3

Sky walked a little more hunched than usual.

His breathing was a bit more worse than usual.

He slept more than usual.

He snapped at the chain a few times too.

Everything was just off about their resident sleepyhead.

They had stopped by a river and the chain insisted they relax, bathe and splash around- Sky instantly shot the idea down with multiple excuses. It was too cold. They were far too exposed and someone needed to watch.

He sat further away from them all, still wearing a few too many layers as his eyes squeezed shut. It hurt so much. He sat with his eyes squeezed shut for minutes, listening to the others splash around in the water.

He wanted to do that. He just couldn't.

He snuck a glance towards them and he instantly wished he hadn't. He was envious of what he saw.

He hesitated before moving back closer to the chain slowly- trying to be mindful of his body, though not like it mattered as the pain shot through his chest once more.

He took his place next to Legend away from the water.

"Hey Apple." He mumbled, watching Legend glance up from cleaning the swords.

"Hey. You return."

Sky hummed in response as he stared towards the water.

"Just go in. I can tell you want too."

Sky wanted to cry right there and then as he shook his head. He swallowed before he could speak "I wish." He mumbled. "I said I'd keep watch."

A sigh left Legend. "Whatever. Your loss."

The Skyloftian wanted to call Hylia out for this cruel joke. She couldn't have waited a few months to take him, could she?

That night, the Skyloftian didn't bother taking any watches. He just put his bedroll on the outskirts of the camp, close enough that he could still hear them talking at the fire they were setting, but far enough to be alone.

He curled up on the bedroll, his body chest and lungs screaming at him. What a cruel joke.

"So, what were the scars on your chest from Twi?" He heard the sailor ask.

"Oh right! I've never told ya guys?"

"Nope! Kinda why I asked."

"Puttin' it simply, I was born in tha wrong body. This is just 'ow I made it tha right body."

Oh what a cruel joke.

Sky felt the hot tears flow down his cheeks. Oh how he wanted to shout at his beloved goddess for this cruel joke.

"Oh cool! Is there anyone else?"

He could hear a few overlapping voices but Sky couldn't listen. He just tried to force himself to sleep but his body told him otherwise.

He didn't even notice the fact he had started sobbing. His face burned. The sobs got stuck in his chest. He bit down on his hand to try silence the sobs, but it only made it worse.

He hated this.

He didn't hear anyone shuffle to him- he just knew someone had when he felt a hand on his arm and a gentle voice that was usually so sarcastic. "Sky?" It almost sounded wrong. He shouldn't be the one being comforted, he did the comforting. This was so wrong.

He spared a glance to the Vet. Oh, how he hated the look he had in his eyes. Something close to pity.

"What's wrong?"

Sky shot up hearing those words. He knew he'd regret what he'd say but he just couldn't stop himself. "What's wrong?" Sky couldn't stop the venom dripping into his voice. "What's wrong is Hylia is playing a cruel joke."

He could feel everyone's eyes on him.

"I didn't know Hylia could get so cruel. She was cruel to us all but now I know how much of playthings we really are."

"Sky. What's gotten into you?"

"Hylia has no mercy!" He couldn't help but laugh, ripping himself away from Legends hand as he began to pace around the camp.

The chain just stared at Sky. They had never heard his voice have such venom- they had never expected that venom to be directed at Hylia of all things.

"Sky, snap out of it!"

Sky just laughed. "And what? Not tell you how cruel she is? She could've waited a few months to take me. But she didn't." He tore the sailcloth from his shoulders and threw it to his bedroll. He didn't care if it got muddied right now.

The younger members of the chain glanced between each other. Twilight was the first to make a move towards Sky. "Oi, Sky, Chill. Sit down an' breathe."

Those words just set Sky off. Maybe it was who they came from or how cruel it was for him to hear 'just breathe' while he was in so much pain.

"I'll breathe when Hylia stops playing favourites."

The look of hurt almost wanted to make Sky stop. The keyword being almost.

Sky threw his layers off in the mud, on top of his sailcloth until he was left with one. He kept pacing. "Hylia couldn't wait a few damned days to take me! I would've been useless but this is all her fault! Hylia waited for you! Why couldn't she have waited for me?"

"Dad." Legend mumbled.

It worked to stop him, Sky's harsh gaze softening as they met Legends. His son... Oh Goddesses, he'd had his little tantrum in front of his son.

"You're bein' mean. What's wrong?"

Sky's anger towards the goddess bubbled away as he began to cry again, collapsing in the mud. His hands went to his honey blond hair and tugged at it. "This isn't fair- ! She just- I want-" He couldn't form any sentences.

He felt Legend wrap his arms around him and he couldn't take it anymore. He sobbed. He pulled at his own hair. He pulled at the fabric covering his chest.

He couldn't breathe. He couldn't breathe. He couldn't breathe. He coul-

"Honey. Follow my breathing." Legend began to breathe and Sky found himself subconsciously matching the exaggerated breaths.

It went on for a few minutes. Sky had finally calmed down, tears still streaming down his face as guilt made its way into him.

He should've kept it all to himself. He should've at least tried. He should have said nothing was wrong. Why did he snap like that?

"Honey? Can you elaborate?"

"Apple... I'm sorry- I don't know why I just-"

Legend cut him off. "It's fine. It musta been there for a while an' whatever we said musta made you snap."

Sky glanced to the chain, the guilt burrowing itself deeper into him. "I really didn't mean too..." He whispered.

He saw the mismatched tunic of Twilight and the guilt worsened. "We can't 'elp ya if ya don't talk." The kindness in Twilight's voice... Sky didn't deserve it.

"Not even Hylia can help me unless she sends me home." He stated, his eyes looking down at the ground. "We know she won't."

"Why would sending ya back ta Skyloft help?"

Sky looked away, looking to Legend with a nervous gaze.

"If I could explain on your behalf, I woulda done it." Legend mumbled.

"I- just don't know how to explain it." Sky fiddled with the sleeve of his remaining layer as he tried to take a deep breath. He felt pain shoot into his chest and held back a wince. He didn't want to be seen as weaker. He won't let them find out. He can just lie. Who's gonna question him anyway?

"Try ta explain it."

Sky didn't want too, fidgeting under everyone's gaze. "Can we do it alone?" He whispered. "You can tell them once I fall asleep but I don't think I can-"

"Course." Twilight offered Sky his hand. "Want Legend ta come with?"

Sky nodded hesitantly, his chest felt tight again. Tighter than usual. He quickly pulled at the layers around his chest, trying to let his chest expand a little more but it wasn't working.

Twilight guided him and Legend a small distance away from the chain. They were still close and Sky hoped no one would over hear them. He didn't know if he would snap again.

"Now, what were ya on about? Why would Hylia sending ya back ta Skyloft 'elp?"

Jumping right in there. Sky couldn't stop the sad laugh escaping him. "What were you talking about before I snapped?" He didn't want to say the words himself. He felt ashamed for snapping at someone who shared what he's going through.

"Everyone's pronouns?"

"Before that."

"My scars?"

Sky shut his eyes and nodded.

"Why would- wait- you're trans too?"

Sky hated haring those words coming from the Rancher. He should've said it himself. "Mhmm-"

"And Hylia took ya before ya could 'ave the surgery?"

Another nod. "A couple days before." His voice was barely above a whisper. Sky could feel the realisation settle in for both of them.

He wanted to leave. He wanted to run deeper into the forest and disappear.

"Shit. Now I understand why you snapped Dad- you were right but it was uncalled for."

Sky wanted to stop and gush over the fact Legend was calling him dad- not honey but Dad. He needed to get through this first. "I know. I'm sorry."

"Ta be 'onest, I think everyone is gonna be so shocked ya 'ave 'eard ya call tha Goddess out like that."

Sky tried to shrink under the Ranchers gaze, though he couldn't exactly do it well without his sailcloth. Oh by the goddess, he threw it in the mud. It's gonna be a pain to clean...

"Anyway, ya shoulda said something to me or the Vet sooner. Ya binding right now, yea?"

Sky nodded slowly. "I didn't know you both were-" He just couldn't being himself to say trans. He hated it. He should be able too say it.

Twilight gave a laugh and ruffled Sky's hair. "Ya shoulda talked ta someone. If not us, Time at least. They're probably one of tha most clueless but they'd do their best ta help. When they found out bout me, they took me somewhere we coulda talked an' made sure nothin' bothered me. Same with Apple 'ere."

Sky could feel Legends frustration at being called Apple by Twilight. "Only dad gets to call me Apple, rancher."

Sky's heart sunk. He just snapped at people who were like him. He should've just held it better. He could've waited. He should've waited. He could've played the harp or anything but snap at his team.

"Oi, don't you go an' start feeling guilty on us."

He nodded. Not like it stopped him.

"Now, when's tha last time ya took your binder off?"

Oh how caring their voices were. Sky needed to prepare himself for that to change quickly.

"Sky?"

He couldn't help but give an awkward laugh.

"Dad."

"Well..." He could feel the atmosphere change.

"How long?" The caring tone was gone- it was so stern now. He could definitely tell Twilight and Time were related.

Sky prepared himself for a lecture, swallowing. "Last watch."

They could hear a pin drop with how silent it was.

"Are ya out of ya mind? That's dangerous! By the goddess- ya still fight an' all? Sky. Ya can't do that. There's a reason ya can't."

Sky wanted to leave. He knew. He just didn't care. "I know." He trained his gaze on the grass and sticks on the ground. He couldn't meet Twilight's gaze.

"It would screw it up so ya can't 'ave surgery!"

His eyes shot up to meet Twilight's.

"Exactly. I can give ya my pelt ta hide in or somethin' but ya need ta take it off. I know it sucks but ya need to let ya body rest. Legend doesn't take watch often for a reason Sky."

Sky knew this. Sky knew this and he refused to acknowledge it until now.

At first I thought about doing a scenario where they turned into cats because of a curse, but I changed when thinking about a tittle to put on the edit. I also changed how this was gonna be write, so know that most of my others headcanons will not be like this — Shiro

⚘݄݃  Lucifer: Even tho Luci was a really good looking cat, most people didn't wanted him because of he being a black cat. A lot of people were afraid or promised violence if he got close, so he saw all the others cats being adopt but not him. Until you came, you had gone directly to the cats area, Luci didn't even bother to directly look at you, he lost hope of being adopted, it really surprised him that you chose him instead of the others cats.

⚘݄݃  Mammon: Mammon as always got in a lot of trouble, even being a stray cat he did a lot of people mad. One time when running from another cat he got on your way, you almost kicked him, but thankfully at that time you had a fast reflex and took your leg off the way. Since then, Mammon always followed you when passed thought that area and one day you simply decided to take him in.

⚘݄݃  Leviathan: Levi was the most shy cat, afraid of everyone and everything. He run away from everyone that tried to get next to him, so it was really difficult to find a owner for him. You were a friend of one of the people that worked in the pet shop, they asked you to get something for them and let it on the shop and you did it. As you had some free time, you decided to play a little with the animals there, you got to the cats area and found Levi in a corner all alone. Tried to play with him, and for the first time he didn't run away from someone, you two played for a time and you decided to adopt him, he was so cute it's impossible to resist.

⚘݄݃  Satan: Satan was a really "savage" cat, always fighting with the others cats and trying to escape from the visitors and staff. No one could tame him easily, he was really fast and scratched everything that gets to close. You decided to adopt a kitten so you went directly to the cats area, getting close to Satan and trying to get him close, he of course attacked you too. But you were persistent, you comeback almost everyday to visit him, so he would feel more comfortable around you before adopting him.

⚘݄݃  Asmodeus: Asmo were the cat that everyone wanted, people looked at him and was immediately enchanted, but he is really picky, so it was difficult for him to find a owner since he rejected most people. Of course, until he saw you, you were the first person he wanted to be close by choice what really surprised the staff, even tho you weren't enchanted as the others you still liked him and decided to adopt it.

⚘݄݃  Beelzebub and Belphegor: Beel and Belphie were both stray cats, they were abandoned by their mom at a really young age. In your way home, you found both cats cuddle up together trying to get some heat from the chilly night, before trying to take them in you checked if their mom had really abandoned them. Since you didn't found the mom cat, you took both in, with some fight from both of them, but they weren't strong enough to stop you.

⚘݄݃  Lucifer: Luci is a really scary cat, no one ever knows what's going on his head, but you know exactly how to read him and you respect his space. Likes to go out during the day, but don't worry he will always comeback, sometimes even with a gift because he's afraid you gonna die of starvation, since in his point of view you have no idea how to hunt and find food.

⚘݄݃  Mammon: Mammon is a really greedy cat, he always wants your full attention and pets. He also give headbuts on everything that in your house, he sees like everything is his so he put his smell on everything and everyone, but specifically on you and your rooms things.

⚘݄݃  Leviathan: Levi is a really anxious cat, he is afraid of everything that makes loud noises and things that move alone. If you want to make something and you know it's gonna make a lot of noise, put him as far as you can and don't let him comeback or he will be really scared and get anxious.

⚘݄݃  Satan: Spite of looking angry by the first impression, since he gets comfortable around you and your house he will start to show a more calm way. Even tho if another cat try to get in his territory he will kick the other cat butt, he is really territorial and don't want to share with anyone besides you. He also is really close to you, sice you're the only human he trust you will never see he going to another person's room.

⚘݄݃  Asmodeus: Asmo really cares about his fur, if you mess it up he will be mad at you and probably attack your feet at night. If you just washed your hand or took a shower/bath and pet him, he's gonna attack your hand and clean himself because how dare you put a smell that isn't his on him. He will try to groom you and if you try to get away he will paw slap you.

⚘݄݃  Beelzebub: Beel really enjoys food, he wants all you can give to him, make some homemade food that are eatable for cats and give it to him, now he loves you forever, just don't do it all the time or he's gonna get really addicted to it. He is really close to Belphie and they cuddle a lot, he is very influenced by his brother in certains things.

⚘݄݃  Belphegor: Belphie is a really lazy cat, is always taking a nap in the most inconvenient places, like on the way to the kitchen, on your laptop/computer and way more places. Sometimes he even get Beel to go with him, so you have two cuddle up cats at places they aren't supposed to be.

⚘݄݃  Lucifer: Squishy mouse. Luci likes to hear the scream of his victims, wouldn't be funny to torture without them begging for help, but for humans the sound it's really annoying so it's recommended to you to go to a different room.

⚘݄݃  Mammon: Glitter ball. He enjoys shining things and what call his attention, so make sure to hide your money, wallet and any jewelry because he will steal them right in front of you.

⚘݄݃  Leviathan: Feather wand. Levi doesn't like toys that make noise, so the best option is a feather wand since even if you beat it on something, it will not make a sound.

⚘݄݃  Satan: Paper ball. It's not really a ball, but he enjoys playing with it so much, if you want him to play just make or find a paper ball and toss it in the same room that he's in.

⚘݄݃  Asmodeus: Mirror. For some reason he really like look at himself in the mirror, but sometimes he try to catch something in the mirror and starts paw slapping it.

⚘݄݃  Beelzebub: Food shaped toy. Any kind of food shaped toy he really appreciates it, just show him the toy and he will happily play with it, you don't even need anything else to make him entertained for a long time.

⚘݄݃  Belphegor: Pillow. You don't understand how he would play with a pillow that's bigger then him, honestly I don't know either but he totally would and after sometime he would get tired and fall asleep on the pillow.

  .˚ 🌱ˀ⌇Favorite place to sleep:

⚘݄݃  Lucifer: Your table. If you have a table in your room, where you put your things like computer, notebook and things like it, make sure to open a space for him or he will sleep on top of your things.

⚘݄݃  Mammon: Your lap. Everytime he want to take a nap and you're sited or laid down he goes directly to your lap.

⚘݄݃  Leviathan: Your shoulder. Levi likes your company and your body it's warm, so what better place to sleep then a part where he can always stay? If you're laying down, sitting or even walking he can stay on your shoulder.

⚘݄݃  Satan: High places. Any high place on your house, be a wardrobe, a cabinet or even a refrigerator.

⚘݄݃  Asmodeus: Your bed. Asmo it's a really picky cat, he will not sleep anywhere, he just sleeps where it's most comfortable and that will not mess his fur and make it dirty.

⚘݄݃  Beelzebub: Your tummy. When you're sleeping or just laying down, he gets next to you and just lay down on your stomach, sometimes on top of it or on your side but his body it's always touching your belly.

⚘݄݃  Belphegor: Anywhere. Literally anywhere, it doesn't matter what it's or if it seems to fit him or not, one day you will find him sleeping at those places.

⚘݄݃  Lucifer: Stare outside, even if he can get out and explore, sometimes he prefers to just stay in and watch the outside from inside the house. Most of the times he goes out, but if it's a cold day or he just doesn't feel like it, he enjoys just watching.

⚘݄݃  Mammon: Follow you, when you're at home he is always following you and sometimes even tries to walk between your legs, you're his favorite human and he enjoys watching you just as much as he always want your full attention.

⚘݄݃  Leviathan: Purr, for apparent no reason, you talk to him, look at him, give him some pets or just breathe and he's purring. He purrs the most when you let him on your shoulder, not only to sleep, he really enjoys being there at anytime you let him.

⚘݄݃  Satan: Ask for you to read out loud, yes it's a little bit odd to a cat do it, but he enjoys the sound of your voice. So everytime he sees you reading something, he will get close to you and meow until you start to read out loud.

⚘݄݃  Asmodeus: Groom you and himself, he wants you to look good and smell like him, so he will definitely try to groom you and will not be ashamed of grooming his privates parts in front of people, he's just getting clean after all.

⚘݄݃  Beelzebub: Sit and stay at your side everytime he wants more food, what happens very frequently if I'm being honest, so you will have to stop whatever your doing and put food for him.

⚘݄݃  Belphegor: Try to attack your feet everytime you pass through him, it doesn't matter if he was taking a nap, if you pass next to him he will try to attack your feet.

ganji might be one of the most asocial people in the entire oletus manor.

if you care to have a conversation with him, you'll first have to seek him out, which is harder than it sounds, and then you'll have to actually get him to talk back to you.

ganji has no qualms with telling people to fuck right off, and at the beginning, you fall under the category of "people". he really does not give a shit.

he has a fondness for people who also give little regard for the thoughts of others. in his experience, you don't get very far by bowing to the will of others.

ganji won't be the person to plan any elaborate outings or extravagant dates. being around you is the entire idea of this, right? why would he waste his time being distracted by others?

even though ganji can come off as unemotional and rude, he's incredibly appreciative of the efforts you make towards y'all's relationship. his main love language is acts of service and giving gifts- however many times he huffs about showing up at your door with an armful of wildflowers and the most intense blush you've ever seen.

i think ganji really enjoys cooking. it's something that calms him down, and he gets something out of it at the end! he's wonderful at it too, but compliments on his cooking skills do tend to go to his head.

for sure an early riser. ganji doesn't expect you to be up at the crack of dawn too, but he would enjoy watching the sun come up with you. he also got y'all matching mugs.

not a very physically affectionate guy, but there is a little room for pda, especially when he's jealous. you might find an arm looped around your shoulder, or a hand on the small of your back, should ganji notice anyone leering at you.

forehead kisses!!! hand them over Rn. when you two are at home, ganji is a lot more relaxed about affection. one of his favorite things to do is rub circles into the back of your hand with his palm. fall asleep or even lay your head on his shoulder and his soul will leave his body completely.

this man has the worst sleeping schedule. most nights, this is how he ends up being up so early. he's a big fan of most teas, caffeinated or not. when he is able to sleep, ganji cuddles relentlessly. there is no escaping the small spoon position. good luck!

Happy Birthday Kyojuro and Saki

Ok so oops I Intended to post this earlier but I took a nap and forgot. Anyways! I present a headcanon on how these two would celebrate their birthdays and a little interaction. (Also I apologize, I wrote this in the middle of the night while an anime was playing in the background so its not great but I wanted to get something for today.)

Kyojuro rarely celebrated his birthday with anyone other than his little brother and occasionally the Hashira

Not because he didn't find it important, because every day he spent alive was something to be cherished, but because he preferred the smaller quiet moments with those he cares about

Those were finite, precious...

He could never get enough of them

Saki celebrated her birthday with her parents for the first eight years of her life, but after her dad died celebrating anything became a burden

Then, when her mother died, She barely celebrated at all.

It was just another day for her

She had been training with Tanjiro for over two years now. Today she was sparring with Tanjiro, working on basics to get back into shape after the incident on the train.

Kyojuro sat on the engawa giving instructions on their forms. He wanted to join, but knew Shinobu would scold him for pushing himself so soon. Saki swung but over extended and she felt the newly healed muscles in her arm spasm causing her grip to go slack. Tanjiro barely pulled his own swing back as he saw Saki's sword fall, her free hand reaching for the shoulder that refused to cooperate.

"I think that's enough for now, we don't want to push your healing bodies too far too fast." Kyojuro called out beckoning them to come sit. Their conversation started with corrections to their forms. Though a stray comment was all it took to change the subject entirely. "You two are doing quite well, young Agatsuma, and young Hashibira as well. Especially given how young you all are." Kyojuro said with a smile and a light laugh.

"Thank you Rengoku-sensei! Although Saki is three years older than me, we have been training together from the start and it has definitely helped." Tanjiro said practically glowing under the praise.

"Oh, I apologize, I was under the impression you two were the same age, or that you were the older of you two young Kamado."

Saki chuckles, "Yeah I'm eighteen. I know I'm short. Though…" Saki looks out at the trees just beyond the training grounds, "I'm probably almost 19 by now. It is late April right? I kinda lost track of time with everything happening."

"Oh that's right! Isn't your birthday in May?" Tanjiro asked, remembering her last two birthdays they had spent together. They were quiet and uneventful. Saki had only corrected Urokodaki and Tanjiro about her age after the day had passed.

"Oh, is that right? My own birthday is in May as well, the tenth to be specific. Maybe we could celebrate together. I know Senjuro wanted to meet all of you after I wrote to him about the train."

Saki chuckled again, eyes looking down at the water in her hands. "Mine is the eleventh, though I haven't really celebrated in a while. Probably ten years or so. Just feels like another day to me."

"All the more reason to celebrate now! Every day we have is precious, and we only get one birthday a year. Making it through another year is cause to celebrate, even if it's small." Kyojuro said beaming at his students.

Saki couldn't help the tears pushing at her eyes. Kyojuro made a startled noise but before he could say anything else Saki looked up at him and smiled. "Thanks Rengoku-sensei, I think it sounds like a wonderful idea."

She had gone ten years without paying much attention to her own birthday. She missed the little moments where she felt genuinely cared for, where her birthday was more than a day the kids at the orphanage got cake. She had grown to care about the Kamado's like her own family Kyojuro was her sensei now and has supported her relentlessly throughout the few months since they returned from the train.

It may be different, but she could tell that somehow this year would be one of her favorites.
