I wish ive been more creative with how i incorporate the star symbols on my Oscar's design but it's okay I can always do another redesign :3

Stars symbolize hope, destiny and guidance. Which SCREAMS Oscar doesn't it? Oscar being Arthur's hope?? Guidance?? Im so ill

I can't decide whether I want to assign the daffodil or blue iris to oscar bc both flowers is so him!!!! For now he gets blue irises. I'll draw him with daffodils next time ofc

You may have noticed the ring he's wearing. well apparently a ring on the middle finger symbolizes life purpose!! I drew Oscar with a ring with the moon symbol...im sure by now you know which character that symbol represents (its arthur)

My Oscar is definently going to have a redesign soon as im not fully content with this design. Im thinking maybe embroided star symbols on his garb... Can this kind of garb have embroidery? Bc i literally have not seen it have any sort of pattern /genq

what if i lost the season but decided that despite it all i was going to help you, even with the gap between us being less than half of a second. what if i lost the championship, but decided that it was the right thing to do to return the favour that you did for me before, so that we could cross the line today one after the other, and you’d stand in p1 this time. what if i lost the dream, the one that was at my fingertips for barely half the season, and it almost destroyed me mentally but still in the back of my mind i’ve been thinking about how to repay you. what if i don’t know that it’s a given that we’ll be at the front next year again fighting for this, and who knows what people we’ll be like by then.

but here is what i know:

right now i have a millisecond to make a decision. it might open up a gap for the mercedes to slip in and we’re doing at over 200 kilometres an hour. and the adrenalin is in our blood and our hearts in our throats and the lights are flying by so close i could touch them. and i know what zak and the team would say about risk and known deltas and margins of error. i know you’ve been so patient, waiting like a dog that’s been told not to bite. i know the whole world is watching and the media will have a field day and they’ll call it a gifted win and a power move and it might make being teammates even more complicated.

what if i knew all that. what if all those things were true.

and i did it for you anyway.

I wish more people were outraged about this. More people should be. In the span of what? A month? Netflix has not only cancelled Dead Boy Detectives, an incredible show with great acting, writing, film quality, etc... and characters that are queer, but they've announced a "modern retelling" of The Picture of Dorian Gray by Oscar Wilde, you know, the book that was so gay it was used as evidence in the author's sodomy trial, and they have chosen to make Basil and Dorian Gray siblings. I have seen so little talk about it, because people are feeling exhausted and defeated, but you know what? Exhausted silence only sends the message to this bloody company that they can continue to do this type of shit and nothing bad will come of it because people don't care enough to fight back. What choice do we have but to fight? We have to fight and show people that we won't tolerate this kind of thing. Dead Boy Detectives was a brilliant show, and this isn't the first time such an incident has happened. Dorian Gray does not deserve this atrocious "modern retelling". I am sick of being met with silence and really, it's overdue that we let these companies know how exactly they can fuck off. I so desperately want to see given to these works the same treatment that people gave to OFMD when it got cancelled. No one else is going to do it for you. Not enough people realise how strong their individual voice can be if they stand up and shout it out. Let's show these companies what fucking happens when they pull these kinds of stunts. Every action has a consequence.
