Alienating her from canon is very fun, hehe, especially with how her character and mindset revolves around the show so much. I like to put her in TPOT lol.

I tend to prefer Taco with her very wide vocabulary, but I do agree she practices things she's gonna say before she says them!! Taco has no social skills, she does not know how to interact with other people normally, would probably practice greetings, apologies, conversations, etc. in private.

But also what if he made not-so-subtle threats towards your friends and alluded to your role during the end of the world (so prep your family, say goodbye [tell all of your friends goodbye] / for the sake of peace they all may die). What if you wanted literally nothing to do with this (there is another god in the sky that calls my name. i do not want to listen to it, for it does not abide by science, but nothing in this world makes sense anymore, so f*ck it all, i guess.) but couldn't get away from it so you just. Gave up. Maybe this is also about Fool but idk much about him so bear with me.

• ahem, from what i have is that instead of an archaeologist (i don't remember the names of characters very well, especially from stardew), we have Robin. it's logical, isn't it ahaha? Law, helps in the hospital, because this is the only way and nothing else! the saloon keeps a Makino, and wow, it's probably a place where you can really eat, so i think Sanji works here in the kitchen. and forgive me, i can't help but add stupid foster parents to au, so Zeff is here too. i really liked someone's fan idea that the Penguin is the cook of heart crew, so he probably does something like moonlighting there?

• Franky and Ikkaku (omg this gorgeous woman) both are something like a carpenter and a blacksmith, although i think Franky is more of a blacksmith?? anyway!!! had idea that Shachi was moonlighting for them??? Maybe???

• Usopp works in Pierre's store, and i think this is not only a store mainly garden, but literally a place where you can buy almost everything? it sounded funny, so why not. Usopp sells some of his little things too!! stupid little fireworks i think are also among them? shop literally everything, wonderful

• i removed the fisherman and his shop (i sorry??), as a result, Nami lives somewhere on the beach, she is their personal meteorologist and the most accurate weather guide, no TV forecast will be as accurate as she is!!!

• ASL trio is a personal periodic spontaneous catastrophe of the whole town. in short, Ace is an eternal visitor to the mine (although many of them are like that ... but he is especially ...) who brings stone mining things. And monster stuff? Luffy for some reason became an absolute fisherman, idk why, but I liked it, huh. Sabo helps Robin i think? Also Luffy and Sabo guys who basically bring Robin different collecting things (Ace does not understand they collecting thing : (( ) all three of them bring Robin some artifacts or minerals. Sabo really interested in discussing all this with Robin, as well as books and the history of all sorts of artifacts and so on?? i had idea about Law in this "nerd" club. Ace... is not interested in these "nerd" clubs and just brings them everything he finds in the mine. Luffy brings Robin something that sometimes comes across on a fishing trip (i like the thing with chests in the stardew itself so much)

• there are also Mihawk, Zoro and Perona who live in a winery/vineyards outside the city. Gothic family is my undisputed love

• something about Bepo: i remember that somewhere at the beginning of the game at some point an animal comes to our farm, which we are offered to keep for ourselves. ahah, i can't choose between being a polar bear(lmao, it’s fun) or a samoyed dog, but in any case, i think he's just like in stardew....came and its just....adopted too

ATSUSHI HERE WE GO THANK YOU FOR HEARING MY PRAYERS

Favorite thing about them: HIS SELFISHNESS. It's so so delicious to explore. Can you imagine a protagonist that saves others not out of simple good will, but because of egoistic self-preservation motives? It just feels counterintuitive for me lmao, and I found it quite messed up when I first watched the anime, but now it's so compelling to explore. His whole “everything I do is in order to gain the right to live” is crazy fashinating. Because lol, that's entirely nonsensical to me! There's no such thing as “gaining the right to live”; all humans, every person in the world is inherently deserving of life. All. No exception. So there's no level of “weak” or “worthless” that would make you lose that right. The fact that's it's a vision so distant and absurd from mine, idk, it just makes it very compelling to explore? “What if there was a little fucked up guy who believed the right to live had to be earned” just sounds like a very interesting premise.

Least favorite thing about them: When I first watched the anime, I think I found him low-key annoying? I just... Don't do very well with self-deprecating people and people who complain a lot in general, I usually suffer in silence and tend to (wrongly) assume others should do the same (this probably makes me sound pretty mean, I swear I try to be understanding irl). However, it doesn't bother me as much anymore, I simply think it's more of a distinctive trait of the character that makes him multilayered and unique. As of now, I can't think of anything I don't like about him if not the fact that I wish he'd rely on Dazai and others in general a little less. I know that has to do with his lack of self-worth, so maybe it makes sense,, but as of now he feels kind of stuck. I just wish we'd see him grow more on that front.

brOTP: KYOUKA AND ATSUSHI they make me go insane. Already talked about this in the Kyouka post but just to reiterate: in my headcanon Kyouka really is the only person Atsushi feels genuine, selfless affection towards. It's very sweet. They're siblings. Kyouka's happiness is really important for Atsushi. They really do have that feeling of people who got out of an abusive environment learning what normality is supposed to be like together. I also really like how they compensate for what the other lacks, be it decisiveness and coolhead for Atsushi and empathy and positivity for Kyouka. Although plenty shipping them romantically, I really like platonic sskk and atsulucy as well.

OTP: I really like sskk eheh. I think they're neat. There's a thousand and one reasons why I find them pretty great. They're objectively the only reason why I got invested in bsd as well as the only thing that has me keep up with the franchise to this day. Right now, I feel like the one thing I really appreciate about them is how you can be the worst person in the universe and still somehow be loveable to someone. I think it's sweet. I also find it very fun and enterataining to explore their various soulmatism antics. They're both very complex and multilayered characters with something deeply wrong with how their minds work that makes them very fun to analyze both by their own and in the complexity of their relationship. Their collective story arc and canon relationship progression is extremely engaging and nice to follow, too. I love dazatsu and atsulucy as well!! Both were ships I wasn't particularly invested when I read the manga for the first time, but really grew in me in the last six months or so. I really dig akuatsulucy as well!!

Random headcanon: He really likes reading. There's some real meta-analysis to be made here I actually had written this is probably not the right place to talk about, but in a work that's all about literature, he's the character who reads.

Unpopular opinion: He's the hardest character to write / characterize. That's why people should probably go easier on other fans when they mischaracterize him. He's just very multifaceted and genuinely hard to get. I keep seeing people being like “Stop babyfying Atsushi he's an independent adult!!” then turn around to say “he can't be shipped with Dazai because there's too much unbalance of power :// [somewhat implying Atsushi can't make free decisions for himself]”, or “Stop making of Atsushi a soft baby who never did wrong in his life!!!” then turn around to say “Atsushi is the happy puppy of the agency who gets treats and pats from everyone ^^ ” like. At least to me, a lot of people's arguments sound self-contradictory all the time; but that doesn't mean people should stop having fun and characterize the characters as they like! Just, let's stop being mean to each other and try to be a little more accepting towards others' takes, shall we? And yes that also includes letting people find Atsushi annoying if they find him annoying (although like, I've NEVER found anyone call Atsushi annoying ever, so really, what remote fandom spaces is everyone visiting? Why are you looking for clothes (good takes) at the soup store (Tik/tok I assume?) ).

miscreants and mayhem (18+) - HEAR ME OUT THIS ONE SLAPPED OK. I originally was gonna skip this one bc the main pairing is uh about a guy and his step-son 🧍‍♀️. extremely questionable rship and he does get called "dad" when theyre fucking but my 4th wall must be made of titanium bc I was able to look past that due to the way the story was written. it deals a lot with the mc's guilt about failing his family and not being able to raise his step-son, and he blames himself for why his step-son turned out the way he did. a wild ride with the most HWOOOO spicy scenes that i would definitely give a try if you're able to like look past the inherent weirdness of the rship.

fly me to the moon - God this one started out so promising but as soon as the main pairing was established the MC's personality went poof 😭 WHAT HAPPENED TO MY NO-NONSENSE SARCASTIC CHAIN-SMOKING MOMMY....THEY TURNED HER INTO A TYPICAL DAMSEL IN DISTRESS 😭😭 this also was giving "I can't believe it's not omegaverse!!" bc they were talking about like pheromones and scenting and imprinting, it had me going "is this straight omegaverse.....??" I think I knew it was time to drop this when I started caring more about the unhinged insane 2nd ML that everyone hates more than the main couple bc at least he elicits an interesting rxn from the MC rather than the boring ass vanilla insta-love vibes of the main pairing. maybe I just have weird taste 😭

why Ophelia couldn't leave - once again started off promising but started going downhill once the main pairing was established 😔 I think it's bc I was expecting more of a battle of wits or mutual manipulation story, but there wasn't a whole lot of that. i thought the ML's personality was quite flat, bc although i am biased towards obsessive characters, the way he was written just didn't click with me since he has no depth besides "I love ophelia". I did think the slow reveal of the truth behind the parents' death was interesting, they do feed you some info bit by bit, and Ophelia's unreliable narration also helped with the mystery. honestly I was a little mad when I finished this one bc I lowkey felt like I wasted my time 😭

taming the tiger (18+) - by the same author as "miscreants and mayhem", this one was A Ride. this pairing is the definition of matching each others' freak and it also had the best spicy scenes out of all the ones i've read so far like they made me go aWOOGAAAAA!!!!! it can get quite sad near the end but i personally LOVED the way it ended with the side stories....the soulmate-ism of it all.......i would highly recommend this one if you're looking for like something that will make you Feel Things.

walk on water (18+) - by the same author as "under the green light", this one was the most grounded and realistic bl manhwa i've read. at times it gave off almost indie movie vibes with the way the dialogue was written. it deals with discussions surrounding the ethics of like the gay porn industry and the stigma that is attached to sex workers in that industry. would definitely give this one a read!!

codename: anastasia (18+) - the only reason i'm continuing this is bc i think it's finally getting to the good shit after an entire season of me wanting to grab the MC by the shoulders and yelling "HELLO????? YOUR PARTNER IS SUS AS FUCK WAKE UP!!!!!!!!!!!!" for a spy he is kind of stupidt 😭despite that though i did like the banter between the 2 leads, and i'm really curious to see how they will interact in the new season now that uhhhh Shit Happened. anyways huge warning for non-con between the 2 leads like. it was fucked up man.

the ghost's nocturne (18+) - i love supernatural stories, especially ones that deal with folk horror and curses and ghosts, so obvs i liked this one. the art style for this one is SO GOOD, each panel is coloured so beautifully and rendered so well shit had me staring at each panel going "HOW?????" the rship between the nok and jaeshin was pretty iffy in the beginning but it improves pretty quickly once jaeshin explains wtf is going on and they come to an agreement. anyways i'm enjoying this one so far and i am also in love with jaeshin, unfortunately i am not immune to sexy half-ghost man 😔. warning for non-con/dub-con between the 2 leads in the beginning.

steel under silk (18+) - listen when i heard this one was a joseon-dynasty enemies-to-lovers revenge story my ass was clicking into it IMMEDIATELY. i do admit the beginning is a little rough since our MC was acting mainly on impulse and doesn't really have a long-term game plan, but he smartens up and starts to actively scheme around the 20-episode mark. it's so nice seeing both yeonjo and heeryang's perspectives and their thought processes, they each know the other person is scheming and they're constantly thinking of ways to out-scheme the other person to get the upper hand (yeonjo's goal is to gain the governor's trust so he can create an opportunity to assassinate him, while heeryang suspects yeonjo wants to kill him so he constantly blocks opportunities/creates obstacles to make sure he never gets a chance). i am really really curious to see what direction the story takes, especially with the recent chapters that have come out. it's really hard for me to read enemies-to-lovers stories and not compare it to captive prince, which i still consider to be the creme-de-la-creme of enemies to lovers, but so far this one is very promising. warning for dub-con between the 2 leads, and non-con between the MC and another character.

dreadful night (18+) - really unique premise, basically our MC is stuck in a slasher horror game, and he needs to clear all of the endings in order to escape. i'm really enjoying this one bc it's clear the author is a horror-enjoyer with the way they're so knowledgeable about tropes and death flags and like the mechanics of horror games, that has a horror enjoyer myself it made me go "ohohohoho....." they should make more transmigration stories where they transmigrate into a horror game, enough with the fantasy/otome games!!! give me stories where people transmigrate into silent hill or something!!! the ML seems to be an NPC who's sentient and aware of the game, but he also seems a little obsessed with our MC (in a yandere way) so i'm curious to see what his deal is.

toxin (18+) - i usually give something like 20 episodes before i decide if it's for me but like 6 episodes in i went "brother eughhhh". it's an enemies to lovers story but the ML gave me the biggest ick. idk if i just dropped it too early but it's giving colonizer romance (like the ML literally hunted the MC's people for sport and doesn't see them as individuals, he views them as livestock and lower beings). i do get it's enemies to lovers, but this particular brand doesn't appeal to me.

smyrna and capri (18+) - once again by the same author as "miscreants and mayhem" and "taming the tiger", i got curious about their other works since i really enjoyed what i've read from them so far, so i decided to open my heart and try reading an omegaverse story. i think i can conclude that i really don't like omegaverse bc i liked everything about this story except for the pregnancy and pheromone shit 😭i would recommend this if you're a fan of omegaverse, the rship between the 2 leads is very sweet and the alpha is also very very green flag (he is so cute...i lov him...)

roses and champagne (18+) - man this one started off interesting but then went off the rails at the end and made me go "HUH????? okay i guess!!!!" also the MC is a lawyer but he can also be kinda dumb which frustrated me. i did like their relationship in the beginning, but once again Something happens near the end that made me go "oh you Crazy crazy" and i felt like they kinda speedran the ending. there are side-stories, but i honestly lost interest so i stopped following. this is going to sound deranged but this story gave off mad victuuri mafia au vibes. warning for non-con between the 2 leads near the end (where it goes off the rails LOL)

“What?” You looked up from where you had just been staring at the table. You weren’t sure how long you had been looking, but when you looked up, Rodolfo had a big grin on his face. 

“More drinks?” Alejandro asked, or you guessed, just repeated. 

“No,” a slow smile spread across your face, “I think I’m good for now,” you had found a good point at which everything felt good. Well, not everything felt good, because when Alejandro stepped away from your table and headed to the bar, your smile fell.

“What?” Rudy asked, looking you up and down. 

“Why did you invite him?” You hissed. 

He held his hands up in defense, “he said he was buying. Besides,” he glanced over to the bar, “he’s a good guy.”

As much as you didn’t want to admit it, he wasn’t that bad. Especially as far as bosses go. Really, the night could have been way worse, had he been awkward while he watched the two of you drink while he slowly sipped on his. The alcohol, you had come to learn, only loosed Alejandro up and made him add more to the conversation.��

Throughout the night, he had even managed to pull a few laughs out of you. All of which made a smug smile stretch across Rudy’s lips. An expression that you tried your best to ignore. 

“Yeah, I guess,” you grumbled out. When yet another one of those smiles settled on his face, you pushed away from the table and stumbled off to the bathroom. You thought you could hear a shout that vaguely sounded like your name, but you ignored it, and kept walking. 

“Having fun?” Alejandro asked when you stepped up to the mirror after finishing up at the urinal. 

You stood there in confusion, looking back and forth from the door to where you just had stood. Maybe you had drank more than you thought. 

“Surprisingly, I am,” you said, switching on the water and then lathering up your hands. You physically cringed when you stuck your hands under the water. You weren’t sure if it was from how hot the water was, or because of how the words sounded when you heard them. 

Before you could apologize, Alejandro smiled and grabbed some paper towels to dry off his hands, “I get it, grabbing drinks with your boss can be awkward, especially when he invited himself out.” Again, he did something else to make you happy that he came, this time by grabbing some paper towels and handing them to you. 

He hadn’t been your boss for very long, and when he moved his way into that position, based on first impressions, you thought he was kind of an asshole. You quickly learned that he was more so a no-nonsense boss, which you had come to respect. 

“Wow, such a gentleman,” you smiled softly. 

He almost looked embarrassed by your words, but a small smile appeared on his lips. You could hear him say something under his breath, but the music from the bar was seeping into the bathroom and made it hard to hear. 

To further prove your words, he opened the bathroom door for you, “thanks again,” you said, sending another small smile his way. 

Alejandro walked close behind you as you both walked back to the table, and nearly bumped into you when you had to stop. His warm hand settled on the small of your back to steady you, “what a dick,” he said loud enough for you to hear. 

“Yeah,” you murmured, and watched on as another patron tripped his way up to the bar. 

When you got back to the table, Rudy was shaking his head, “you can’t even go to the bathroom on your own,” he said, because of course he had seen the whole thing. 

“I got lost at the office one time.” You said, sounding annoyed. 

“Seriously?” Alejandro asked. When you didn’t answer, a laugh burst from his chest.

Almost by reflex, your middle finger nearly went up at him, but you held back. You did, however, take that energy out on Rudy. You waited until the right moment when Alejandro finished his first beer and went to the bar for a second. 

“You’re lucky this alcohol has mellowed me out,” he said after you kicked his shin softly. 

“Or what?” You questioned. 

“I’d bend you over this table for assaulting me.”

You have him a bored look, “It was barely a tap, besides, what’s stopping you?”

“I wouldn’t want our boss to see how easy it is to make you hard.”

You hated the warm feeling that shot through you at his words, but you responded quickly, not wanting to let him catch on. ��The alleyway beside the bar looked pretty empty when we came in,” you pointed in the direction of the door. 

You weren't dating per se, but ever since you started working at the office, you and Rudy had spent a lot of time outside of work... getting to know each other.

Ever since that first time after work, you would normally find yourself making out with Rudy almost every Friday night. And it was no different tonight.

You both sat at the table for a few moments, staring at each other like two drunk idiots with dumb smiles on your face. 

You couldn’t read his mind, but you definitely know you didn’t pay Alejandro any mind as you quickly exited the bar and made your way into the dark alleyway. After all, it was hard to focus on Alejandro when Rudy pushed your back into the wall and pressed his lips to yours in an aggressive kiss. 

Though the kiss was aggressive and stole your breath away, he made sure no harm came to your head. He used one of his hands to cup the back of your head, while the other was placed on your back so he could pull you closer. 

As his tongue made its way into your mouth, his hand went lower to pull your shirt out of your pants. When he did, you couldn’t help but end the kiss and let out a laugh. When you were using the bathroom earlier, you must have tucked your shirt back in, as if on instinct. 

Rudy let out one of his own and pressed his forehead to yours. You stayed close to each other, breathing in each other’s breaths. In being so wrapped up in one another, you failed to notice the steps coming down the alleyway. 

You jumped away from each other when a throat cleared near you, “hey,” Alejandro said awkwardly, “I’m going to head home.”

“Oh,” you said, his words sobering you up. You glanced over at Rudy, but he just stood there looking embarrassed. 

“Unless,” he paused, “you both wanted to come back to my place and continue this? Hopefully with me involved, not that it wasn’t hot watching the two of you kiss,” Alejandro said, looking between the two of you. 

Images flashed through your mind, ones that made a heat settle deep within your stomach. You probably looked a little silly, standing there nodding your head with your mouth slightly hung open, but by the smile Alejandro gave you, he didn’t mind. 

After you stopped nodding, you looked over at Rudy, waiting to see his answer. Instead of giving one of his own, he ran off down the alley, “I call shotgun!” He yelled behind him.

gustav is. objectively speaking, not a good father in the emotional growth department. I've mentioned and maintained by him looking like an Asian tiger parent from my pov. even if he does lay out proper foundations and maybe good hc adjacent policy for country ruling, his approach of parenting is questionable at best.

I get him operating under pressure and sickness with a limited time left to raise his son in a manner befitting of the throne but like. All sink and no swim? No proper explicit guidance? You can't just be "I want my child to meet expectations and dispense no love", that's just straight up neglect my guy. hes very much the 2 faced proud big important parent person.

i dont think they even have a father son moment probably ever. Henriette and Gustav have a more functional relationship bc they actually dated and had proper human interaction, but it's likely given cultural asian and high expectations context irl, his kids were treated more like objects and successors. Despite everything he might have felt and expressed behind the scenes. again, the affection is not expressed and conveyed directly enough to his kids, and alfonse being his successor means. alfonse has major daddy issues and anxiety about succeeding the throne.

So now, brave alfonse, having lost this dad and understandably craving for fatherly affection and going through it in the plot, is. you know. in the process of redefining himself. arguably is always, but now, its either he's the successor of, King Gustav the Great II or The Next King of Askr. his role as with many many other of his type are to be a signifier of a new era. thats the whole point of successors!

hes even all "ILL OPEN THE WAY". implying that something before wasnt working out and a new path must be blasted open for a better future. thats the whole theme.

But the effect of Alfonse donning his fathers armor in this case is not respect, it reeks of insecurity! again, does alfonse know his father as Gustav The Person to a reasonable degreee? if by that we mean a neglecful parent but a decent king, okay. but why is there a need to repeat this cycle by wearing from head to toe, from body language to skill 1:1 of his dad. howis this a good thing...

Hi, so basically the title- though maybe review isn’t the right word for it, it’s more of the vibes I got and the gist of them- all of these my own opinions so don’t get offended? Anyways, here you go!

Walking on Water (8.5/10)

It’s an excellent title track, because it has that classic skz energy, a bit dissonant on the first listen but you’ll be singing along by the time you hear it the third time- it is that addictive.

Han’s part? Amazing. Like I grin whenever I think of it. ‘When you’re sinking I’m fishing-’ that line? It’s stuck in my head now. I love the entirety of it.

The Harry Potter line did feel a bit jarring but it’s so endearingly wacky

And the ‘wao wao’ part is also very catchy, the chorus? Yes please, it feels a bit silly but I’m vibing so idk

1. After pretty move in to Chris flat they were cuddling and scenting her that means also her scent lingering on him too right (but not too strong but more than just a roommate way bcs in my head he is alpha his scent too strong and stubborn to goes weak or disappear idk if it’s wrong or). The first time he visit his parents house after she move in they notice that scent it’s obviously not his packmates it’s new and his father like questioning directly like “do you got into relationship” Chris confusing “no, why?”, ”that scent lingering on you?!” He goes blushing but act fool “idk what are you talking about dad” his that don’t push too much bcs that obviously his son don’t want to talk about whatever that is so he just leave it. His MOM knows pretty’ scent too well but also act fool like in outside “anyway how’s your new roommate? Is she kind? Is she kind to your pack mates?” But in the inside her brain goes crazy like ”NDJDJSJDHDHWKAIDNDXO IT IS A POSSIBILITY OF THEY GOT TOGETHER?!!”

2. When after they got together visit his parents house to sleepover. They eating dinner together and little bit chating just a usually goes how their visiting and they go to his room to sleep pretty and chris lying on the bed kissing, cuddling that makes Chris so worked up (i can’t blame him 🤷‍♀️) when he goes too deep pretty like “no baby, I don’t want to disrespect your parents, they literally sleeping in same house” and he reassure her that room is soundproof he went trough his rut in this room (he was teenager where else he go) until he move out (i mean it’s werewolves house so they went trough their rut and heats in their room it must be a soundproof no one wants to hear their parents or children’s rut or heat sound) and in here idk how she act. Is she turns him down and he pout, whines little bit but if she doesn’t feel comfortable ofc he respect her and turns himself down or on the other hand she seduced by him. If that happens HERE IS THE POINT I WANT TO SAY soundproof doesn’t mean scent proof his parents know by the scent and they don’t react at all outside BUT HIS MOM’S BRAIN “PUPS, THEY GONNA HAVE PUPS SKDJDRNFJK” after they leave the house she runs to her husband “WE’RE GONNA HAVE GRAND PUPS HONEYYYY” he also happy that his wife happy “honey don’t get too excited, they are still young and they didn’t even mated yet but yeah eventually we’re gonna have grand pups”. Other day mom calls Chris and ask not too obviously, goes like “you guys are been together pretty long right,don’t you think it’s time take your relationship on a next level?” ofc Chris get his mom’s point also don’t want to pushed by other people but can’t snap at his mom so just respectfully goes “we’re happy what we are now mom, you don’t have to worry”

What would be your ideal rom-com for Diego and Felicity, if you were writing it?

oooh, excellent question! as much as I've been begging the universe for such a thing, I actually never thought about the specifics. maybe because I'm not too picky, I'd take anything they can give me (as long as it's one of those awful sexist/problematic romcoms with questionable relationship dynamics)

ofc I'm biased but I'd love for them to have a dynamic somewhat similar to Jyn and Cassian. without the war and child soldier part I guess. but a badass, take no shit woman with a bit of a commitment issue because she's always been abandoned by her loved ones, and a hardened, no nonsense guy who can't remember the last time he had a meaningful connection with someone? chef's kiss.

and since Diego is in his 40s now and Felicity is nearly 40, I'd love for their characters to be older too. but maybe without kids. often when I see love stories for older people, there's always that one single parent character, which is fine, but I'd love to see something different. I want more characters who are childless by choice, so in my mind, neither has kids or wants them.

oh you know what would be cute, I think? what if they used to live on the same street as kids and were childhood best friends until maybe like middle school when one moved away and they never saw each other again. the movie could start with them being adorable little kids promising to always stay friends, then cut to 30 years later when they somehow meet each other again. a rivals to lovers dynamic could also be fun, and idk why, but now I'm picturing college professors who really hate each other's guts for some reason but are forced to go on a longer field trip together and ofc end up getting closer....

actually, I think I really like that idea! I'm sorry, this isn't really a concrete answer, more like a bunch of ideas that I think would be fun but I'd take anything tbh. I'm curious to hear what you guys would love to see as well!

Okay so from the guys:

1) Javier (100% compatible, I'd feel so comfortable and good near this man, I'm learning how to play guitar and I already speak Spanish so we'd have a lot to talk about, he seems like the passionate type but the calmer version and I'd just add the right amount of chaos, plus smooth and romantic? I'd fold like a chair, i feel like i could talk to him about everything and just listen to him sing or talk about his past life, his dreams, everything. )

2) Arthur (he's quiet when he needs to be and jokes when the time's right, I'm just like that so I feel like we'd click? I also value loyalty above all but my morals come first so I feel like we'd see eye to eye on many things)

3) Lenny (my sweet boy, I feel like he'd be like a little brother to me, always eager to help and do things, we'd spend a lot of time just doing activities and talking about both nonsense and serious stuff)

4) Hosea (I love hearing stories, I'd spend hours just listening to him talk and give me advice and he's the man I'd go to for everything tbh)

5) Kieran (my love:( idk I have a feeling that we'd get along well and I'd go fishing with him and keep him safe and take him with me to do stuff cause he seems like the type to be quiet at first but excited and talkative when comfortable)

6) John (the reason why I put my fav in the middle is because we're too similar personality wise, we'd either be at each other's throats or soulmates, no in-between. One minute fighting the next fucking)

7) Dutch (I think I'd be very fascinated by him in the beginning, his demeanour, his knowledge, his vision, his taste for the finer things but I'd get irritated real quick, especially with his "hero/saviour complex" I'd just avoid him around camp and only talk to him when necessary. But fuck confident smart men who love music and books and know stuff have a magnetic pull on me)

8) Charles (the reason why I put him here is because I can't deal with people who are too quiet, silence and small talk make me uncomfortable??? However I'd always go to him for advice or just go hunting to get away from the others, tbh the more we'd bond the higher I'd put him)

9) Sean (listen, I love him, adore him even but all that energy ain't for me, 5 minutes in and I'd drown him in a lake)

10) Pearson (tbh we'd be chill I guess)

11) Uncle (no.)

12) Bill (we'd be fighting 24/7, I'd be on his ass nonstop, I hate that mf)

I find Ruby's expression of depression to be highly unbelievable. The excuse for so long has been that she's been hiding her emotions for the sake of everyone else, which is a fair enough point, but now there's not even a token effort. No obviously painful smiles, no jokes she breaks partway through, no overcompensating by hyping up too much. Ruby might as well be the goth girl at the top of the skyscraper from the All Star Superman comic for all the characteristically realistic depiction of depression she has

It worked well enough when she was alone and didn't have to fake for anyone - which is why everyone was so excited for Ruby to finally be free to break - but that was nipped right in the bud, and nothing has grown in its place. It's just... disappointing

jenrina hooked up TWICE. The night of the party, and the second time. The first one was the assault + dubcon/manipulation and the second time Jeno was a very weak man, having her beg so upset he gave in, a part of him still loving her. He did have a lil bit of hope left for /them/ even if he didn't want to admit it, especially as hey, he still had some forget-me-nots left.

oh no yeah, jeno was soo wrong for hoping for a reaction of hurt/upset/ANYTHING than indifference or acceptence from Jaemin when he told him he hooked up with 'Rina, and he was aware how selfish and twisted that was as he doesn't want o hurt him but at the same time, a sign of hurt could signal Jaemin did want him as more than fwb. And as he didn't see any, he lost all hope of Jaemin currently harboring any feelings for him.

The discarding part I mean Rina discarded Jeno, and Jeno feared (fears tbh) Jaem doing the same.

Ah, thing is, even when they were soo domestic, fluffy together, neither saw it as more, they still saw it as them being rlly good friends aaand fwb. Jeno never considered Jaemin's clinginess to him as more or different to how clingy he is with others like Hyuck or Yangyang. And Jaem could also see Jeno being soft with Lele and Hyuck so he didn't have much reason to consider himself special. Both dumb and blind to it as others like Lele, Jisung, Hyuck and even Mark could notice the two DID act different with each other than the rest.

I love the 'Taro detail hahahaha I waited sooo long to reveal it. He thought they were dating because his room is beside's Jenos so he heard them hooking up, repeadtly at that, and he didn't hear/see them with anyoneee else so he rolled with it. When 'Rina inserted herself back into the picture he was so confused. Also, while 'Rina did continue to drop by Jeno's room and leaving late at night, it was nights of Jeno trying to get her to TALK and her refusing, trying to convince him to hook up with her instead, until she would leave when Jen didn't give in.

Jen did notice Jaem being upset but he had his own messy plate to deal with, he knew by then that Jaem had some deep self esteem issues but he couldn't consider it was related to Jaem pining for him. Oh and riiight after he slept with his ex, Jaem was /fine/ to Jeno, he noticed jaem being upset later on when he got worse.

Yess it should have been a sign but they both were dumb and in denial. Well, about that, Jaem did hint to hooking up with someone else if Jen didn't that one time early on, heck when their sex-cation started, they both didn't expect the other to not have hooked up with someone else in their time apart, both truly believing the other didn't owe them that.

In Jeno's defense, he DID try to explain himself but Jaem cut him off, very nonchalantly may I add.

You're so right T^T I should follow my heart~ ok but in bqt jen and rina will be friends again in not a far future so there is that :D that will be addressed in future bqt chapters thats why I said it is not over yet we have some things to touch on~
