i swear there is something about landoscar that makes me insane like i got into this fandom and have liked a lot of ships like maxiel, carlando, lestappen etc but there is just something different about landoscar??? idk if it's the dynamic between the two?? or if it's oscar's personality that makes their interactions feel genuine but i would love your analysis or thoughts on this cause WHYYYYYYY have these boys taken over my brain like so??? i swear other ships are literally out here hugging like mad and saying sexual innuendos to each other etc etc and im unfazed but i see oscar and lando have the slightest touch or glance at each other and im feral foaming at the mouth lmfaooooo !!!

anyway idk whether this makes any sense but perso with some rpf ships i find that the myth somewhat outweighs the canon or vice versa — i.e. the "potential narrative" of a ship is really compelling but it doesn't quite exist as it's written in canon, or a ship doesn't have that many compelling extra narratives other than the existing relationship that's strongly visible in canon. and i think these are all great and fun to ship, but i guess as EYE see it it sort of feels like 814 balance those aspects fairly well? like they have a dece amount of sweet and interesting interactions with each other, but obviously they're not best friends and there's enough of this like, sense of repression + the fact of their personalities being not fully diametric but still different enough that it feels like you can take them in a lot of directions. i really like that landoscar aren't quite foils but also aren't "twins" either as some people say, and oscar despite being so lauded as mature is still inspired by lando in many ways and shares the same sarcastic humor as him and enjoys his presence a lot. they work because they aren't opposites but there are enough crucial aspects that separate them so you can make a lot of tropes and aus fit them. which isn't to say you can't do the same with the other ships you mentioned but... idk i'm also just biased because i'm an oscarybroTM so i don't really think about 90% of the grid so i'm fundamentally less invested HLKSDFHLH

also i've mentioned this b4 but my favorite hockey ship (2124) is literally the hockey version of oscar (dorky californian sportsnerd who brings his gaming setup on road trips to play fifa) x his dry finnish linemate whom he doesn't even interact with off the ice but ON the ice they have the most electric wordless chemistry and are constantly aware of where the other is and play beautifully together and get super awkward when reporters try to talk to them about it. so like to me unspoken collaboration IS a beautiful and worthy thing to rpf about.... *__* so clearly i enjoy teammate repression and awkwardness in my ships already but then 814 are kind of even more insane because they're less myth than 2124 so there's SO much to chew on. at least for moi 🥰 icl i'm a little bit anti-pda so constructing intricate rituals to look longingly at other men and laugh at their bad jokes is more compelling to me than straight up skinship/bgp... i was just telling @inchidentally whose analysis i feel like might be up your alley that i don't rly get why people act like oscar's "heart eyes" toward lando are "pr" (???) because from everyth we've been told and see about him it's so clear that he's always been just himself and the level of... unguarded emotion he displays around lando isn't something you can just make up imo. even if it's just little things and they go off and do completely different things off-track (which again i kind of enjoy. like romanze can be guy who goes off to party with models the day after a race x guy who's in bed gearing up his 10th joke about getting his wisdom teeth removed) it makes them rly fun to watch ;__;

i'm thinking of three types i wanna explore

twin au's. already dipped my toes in it and i like twin aus. it's my normal go-to for this sort of thing lol

older brother og!shang qinghua. ngl, people sold me with their fanart LOL im a weak man to adorable fanart oki

adopted brother au: oki bear with me, but what if baby airplane just gets... dropped into pidw with no family and he gets adopted by one of his scummy canon fodder villains? no blood relations for reassurance (not that airplane gets all that much reassurance from blood relations) just some one who has no obligations to him, who airplane KNOWS has a shitty personality, choosing to adopt him and take care of him? get found family'd, idiot! i just love airplane being the family that someone actively CHOSE

oki so the next thing i need to consider is og!shang qinghua's personality, because lbr, the barebones we get from svsss is noootttt a lot lmfao (og!shang qinghua extra when?). butttt from what we do know, he's supposed to be the sort of person who would work for two bosses, backstabbing either one or both of them

there is actually the potential for og!shang qinghua to be a bit of a su xiyan in this regard 🤔because of the lack of information we have, it's possible he could have actually been a double agent working for cang qiong while pretending to work against it. im not sure i like this path, bc im ngl, i kinda like the characterization of him being a self-serving greedy worm (i have a weakness for characters who are like this okay). but it's worth considering. he could also be playing the game from all angles. cang qiong think he's infiltrating the northern desert on their behalf, mobei-jun thinks he's infiltrating cang qiong on his behalf, and ultimately, og!shang qinghua is 100% his own man who's backstabbing them all LOL

there's also the uncle of it all to consider. linguang-jun is the most viable ally for anyone who might want an upper hand against mobei-jun, and if og!shang qinghua is gutsy enough, he might consider working for him

there's also the possible iteration of him thats 100% cowardly victim who literally never had a choice in any of it and died pathetically after being betrayed by everyone. again, the lack of actual canon info about him makes this possible? and it wouldnt not match up with airplane's pattern with tragic villains. that said, im not a fan of this route bc frankly i'm here for villain-fucking, not for "he was actually the most uwu baby of them all!!!" but i gotta acknowledge the possibility of this category, to actually take into consideration og!shang qinghua's personality. if we think of airplane's pattern with villains tho, none of them are absolutely innocent or kind. shen jiu is undeniably a victim of his circumstances annnnnddddd he also tried to rape ning yingying, so clearly he's not a good dude

there is also a line in the novel where shen yuan says that "shang qinghua was written the same way as shen qingqiu", specifically with regards to being lustful. so it's very likely that og!shang qinghua is into brothels and sex and might be a bit of a horndog

with consideration to the above (and anything i forgot that people wanna remind me of because i have the memory of a peanut) the things i wanna consider for his personality are

self serving and greedy (personal preference but it's canon compliant so shhhh)

slutty in at least one way (very likely brothels considering the context and very likely hetero in those slutty ways)

a very good liar (a necessity of the position of a double agent)

good at logistics (thats how you become the an ding peak lord after all)

probably has a tragic backstory (as is airplane's penchant with canon fodder villains)

had a bad relationship with mobei-jun (otherwise canon events dont make sense lol)

alright then theres shipping thoughts to be had >:D bc im shipping scum and this is who i am inside

theres the obvious og!moshang and im definitely here for that, but my airplane x mobei jun obsession is currently consuming me from the inside out sooo lolol so very likely to do some ot3 shenanigans with them at the moment if anything, which works for aus where theyre not related, but since im crawling my way down the shang sibs rabbit hole (and im just not much of an incest shipper lol), i'll table that one for now

shen jiu is worth thinking about, put my slutty canon fodder villains together and see what happens >:D

liu qingge could be hot (also ot3 with liujiu cuz my obsessesion with liujiu is only matched by my moshang obsession LOL). definitely love pairing liu qingge with morally corrupt characters who make him scream "WHY DO I LIKE YOU?!?!?"

sha huling might be kinda hot ngl, i could see them scheming together and also og!shang qinghua resenting the fuck out of luo binghe that he's got the woman of his dreams on retainer and she aint even his main squeeze

wei qingwei is a particularly tantalizing option bc if he was also in charge of the rescue party in pidw, then theres the potential for og!shang qinghua (in contrast to our lil airplane) actually feeling super relieved to see him and developing a really cute "my hero" crush on him~ this is something i will definitely percolate on. might become my fav pick tbh bc the more i think about it, the more i like it >:D

luo binghe is also potential, tho it doesnt fizzle in my brain the same way that bingplane does lol. but i could see potential there

zhuzhi-lang would be pure cracky "i like these two characters so i think they should kiss" LOL. but bear with me, the terminally loyal zhuzhi-lang paired with the terminally disloyal og!shang qinghua equates to a lot of conflict and i am HERE for that oki like the sheer incomprehension of "why the fuck would you be loyal to them at the cost of yourself?? are you stupid?" vs "how can you be such disloyal scum??? what is wrong with you?" (except politer bc zhuzhi-lang lolol) is a combination of contrasting values that i adore to see in a ship

obvs theres airplane x og!shang qinghua and again, i'm here for that, but im currently in sibling au hell so i'll table that for later, but believe me that i see it

qi qingqi, look, my only justification for this one is "it would be hot" and i stand by it LOL

thus far, upon considering my options, i still think i like wei qingwei the most but thats mainly bc i have a canon basis to branch off of and while i love crack (clearly) i also like having a jumping off point. after that, i think it's a tie between zhuzhi-lang and sha hualing (those shang bros sure do love their demons LOL)

Just as a small warning, I haven't finished reading the novel so all of this is based on the information I possess as of now!! I am currently at chapter 939 if you'd like to avoid potential spoilers :)

For Arrodes as explained in the little window on the drawing, I imagine that he has a radio show in the school radio, not a lot of people really listen to it but he still maintains it live and just gossips with guests on it . Perhaps he even has a little show where he answers questions in exchange for him asking a question (just like his power does in the novel but without the punishment since I don't think he can summon lighting bolts in here)

To keep the part about him being very lenient on Klein, in the novel he senses the fog but here I imagine that he stumbled upon him using the app (more about it later) and he had some prior knowledge on it and simply felt compliant to share the information he gets to Klein without asking any of his ridiculous questions heh

And now that I wrote this, I thought that Arrodes could've very well developped a program or website that could allow Klein to ask questions directly without meeting (kind of how Klein didn't need the mirror to talk to him and used a radio) or maybe he's just a silly hacker idk Him infiltrating certain pages that Klein visits would be a very funny scenerio to me ToT

As for the tarot club, in this AU I decided that Klein got a new phone after breaking his previous one and discovered an built-in app that he cannot delete. He decides to explore it a bit, the app itself is very vague in it's navigation and utility and by accident Klein pulls two people into a group chat (This ofc being Audrey and Alger) and that's how the first Tarot gathering happens ! As for the "I could use it to gain information", I had an idea in mind as for why Klein would try to get "information", but I'm not a 100 percent sure if it'd work so I'll keep it to myself until I make it make sense heh

Hey what are your avatar otps besides azulaang?

oh umm… I wouldn’t call them OTPs since that is exclusively Azulaang, but my bi Azula headcanon lives in a variety of ships. Azutara, Azuki, Maizula… not Tyzula tbh because that feels like… imbalanced? and not Tophzula because they are menace-besties but not romantic, but with any of the other girls I think it could be great. Azutara has the enemies to lovers from Azulaang but with more spice and less forgiveness, they‘d tear eachother apart first but that makes it even sweeter if they eventually fall in love. Azuki is kind of different because Suki is more rational and holds less of an emotional grudge, it‘d be difficult for Azula to earn her trust but she would not be openly hostile to her unless necessary. I imagine this one could only happen if Azula is already in the middle or post redemption though, because Suki would not put up with any EtL shit. I guess that is exactly why it intrigues me too, I feel Suki would be more willing to give Azula a chance, more than Katara for example, but at the same time it would be impossibly hard to win her trust and I‘d like to see if Zula can manage it. Lastly Maizula, and I prefer this one over Tyzula because I feel Mai is more capable of holding her own against Azula in a relationship. It’s a complicated version of childhood friends to lovers and I‘m kind of here for it. No idea how it would work though lol.

Aside from Azula ships, I think Zutara is pretty cool and works well alongside Azulaang. Kataang is kinda cool in theory too, but I don’t like shipping Aang with anyone except Azula, it feels wrong 🤷‍♂️ The only other Aang ship I can imagine liking is Zukaang, but I don’t talk about it much.

Oh and I have to give a shoutout to Sokkla, I don’t particularly vibe with it but they’re the sister ship to Azulaang and I do see the potential of the two genius strategists, so if Aang didn’t exist I would definitely ship Sokkla instead. Nothing but love to the comrades over there. 🫶🏼

edit: totally forgot this but I actually also love Tylaang aka Ty-Lee and Aang, it just has absolutely no fandom so it’s hard to get the ball rolling. I just feel they would be such a wholesome bubbly cute ship, and I dig the Ty-Lee airbender ancestry theory so she‘d love to learn all about airbender customs and they‘d have so much fun and probably a huge family 😅 anyway I think party of why I ship this is just because I think these two deserve the world and it represents my wish for them to be totally carefree and happy. you can also add Azula and make this a throuple, I think that would work because you have Tyzula as the polar opposites and Aang in the middle to bridge the gap.

speaking of throuples I enjoy the idea of… Azutaraang? (Azula/Katara/Aang) but it is very difficult to make work. The only way I can see it is if Azula and Katara fall in love first because nothing good could come of them fighting over Aang. or maybe I could see like a stranded on a deserted island AU where the three of them have to work together and learn to rely on eachother… idk, difficult but not impossible.

Oh and I love Zuki too (Zuko x Zuki) …damn I guess I do have quite a few non-Azulaang ships. anyway this is essentially a bodyguard AU and it’s actually my favorite Zuko ship (sorry Zutara) not much to say about it cuz I’ve barely engaged with it, but I love the idea and think they would just work really well together. I also can see this as a throuple with Sokka again. I don’t really vibe with Zukka on their own but if you add Suki then I love it, because Suki deserves two good boys and it’s more fun for everyone involved if those two good boys are in love with eachother too.

Hello!! I just wanna drop by and say i enjoyed your Utahime thoughts! And i wanna share s couple of my cents if that's alright? Here we gooo

So I'll start by saying that i have nothing against anyone that ships gjhm, that's the beauty of fandom and aus and stories. however, i have tried to see the appeal in a realistically speaking sense within the context of the actual story and i just cannot. for the life of me. Like it's pretty evident that Utahime does not like Gojo, and that he's very disrespectful towards her, however, there is the trust they share because of their roles as teachers and their ideology. it's not that Utahime is an unreasonable person that would turn down an offer that would put her students in harms way right? but the thing is, I don't think the story ever set up any sublots for them to like each other you know? And I don't wanna be a killjoy when i say this altho i probably am, but rather that it's just not something author has envisioned for them?

i do think Gojo likes Utahime, but just not in a romantic sense, and this sort of dynamic is really reminiscent of that i would find in siblings, where one is endlessly annoying and the other wants to strangle the younger. i think if the story went the other way instead of the one it went now, Utahime and Gojo should cooperate and be understanding of one another as in good colleagues/friends? but given how Utahime was written and her limited appears in the story, luckluster and underwhelming sometimes, it's nearly impossible, and it's mostly on gege because all these characters have so much potential yet he only utilizes them as plot devices, in short it's not about the characters unfortunately.

and frankly i can't blame people for creating aus, in fact go ahead, it's what makes shipping so great! like i love to ship gojo too, mostly with geto or sometimes shoko heck i even like to pair him with ocs or readers too! but idk why i just can't picture him and Utahime ever being in a relationship at least within the story like context. again i don't wanna undermine anyone who loves this ship, i am all supporting but i just wanted to get out how i see it. I see what you're coming from, Anon! People have varying preferences/opinions, and that's the beauty of it! I know Gege wouldn't draw out a romance plot line because he stated he ONLY sees it for mutamiwa. I can be delusional with gjhm BUT realistically, I’d never trust Gege EVER to handle a romance plot line cuz it will probably end tragically lol.

Imma try to speak from gojohime pov and give some insight why I personally love the ship.

I think the gjhm fans that I've seen doesn't ship them just because its ability to be canon but instead the dynamic that gjhm offers. Like you said Utahime does hate him while Gojo seems to like her, and the most funny part for me is that Gojo genuinely believes her "annoyance" is a joke between them. The way I see it, it offers this a slowburn romantic comedy potential with Gojo learning to get over himself, step up, and have this massive realization of falling for Utahime. I had this convo with my moot ola and moot said how basically Gojo just went “shit, she CAN fix me!” with Utahime (Because ya know how Utahime is everything Gojo isn’t) thus he continues to bug her xD

There's just so much to "play" with their dynamics honestly if you take them out of the canon story. You'd think that a slow burn romance would be two people earning each other's trust then doing all the slowly loving/liking part, but since the story already has set up that gjhm have each other trust because they share the goal of teachers fostering the new generation of sorcerers plus their decade of familiarity with each other, it makes you think what's more to this slowburn romcom?

Well, the way I see it, their opposing teaching beliefs can help them learn from each other and be better teachers. Gojo will be forced out of his emotionally constipated ways. Utahime's strength in her patience and ability to connect with other will be highlighted. They can be such a fun colleagues to lovers slowburn romcom type of story ya know which I honestly find hilarious xD So yehhh thats basically why I ship these two fuckers :^)

1. a character everyone gets wrong

hmm in glee I think it's easy to say Sebastian because the fandom as a whole I think has a lot of misunderstandings of him...but I'm gonna pick someone else

I think Finn is a character that's often misinterpreted and rarely given the benefit of the doubt that the other characters are given. He is a lot more complicated than anyone gives him credit for, and I think that's obvious in seasons 3 & 4 when he's very much struggling with what he wants his life to look like and what people expect from him and the kind of person he wants to be. He makes a lot of mistakes, but I don't think any of them are irredeemable, and he has a lot of moments of growth as well. Instances like the infamous moist towlette/lamp altercation with Kurt, accidentally outing Santana, etc. all result in great arcs for him (developing a great brotherly bond with Kurt and an imo great friendship with Santana respectively). I don't ever talk about the newbies, but I think Kitty had a lot of potential as a character. I think we kinda missed her character development that likely happened offscreen during the time jump, but she had a cool arc in season 4, and I think she's a realistic character. I'm from the Midwest, and the amount of people here who are absolutely horrible because their parents are like ultra religious and have always pushed their egregious politics and racism etc. onto their children...anyway it's horrific. But Kitty matures out of that through developing meaningful relationships with the other New Directions, and she becomes a great character by the end.

Hmm I'd say I'm like, 2.8? I'm pretty basic and don't do much editing but my stories are good and I'm proud of them!

2. What do you think makes your writing stand out from other works?

I think I excel at fluffy family fics. I just love writing good dads being sweet with their kids, especially daughters. Another thing that makes me stand out is how I write autistic!reader. I haven't seen anyone else write that for the Chris Evans fandom (not including Steve) so I'm proud to be the one to do it.

3. Are there any writers that inspire you?

Everyone in the server is so talented and they all inspire me in different ways. @a-lumos-in-the-nox puts out story after story with her OC and Ron Weasly and I just love that! Especially as someone who wants to start writing more OCs. @flordeamatista’s writing is so poetic and beautiful and I admire it so much

4. What’s the fic you’re most proud of?

I'm pretty proud of my Suburban Dad Sunday verse. It's done so well but it's also just very fun for me to write and it's letting me explore characters that I hadn't written for previously.

5. Which character(s) do you find easiest to write and which do you find most difficult to write?

Jake Jensen is definitely the easiest. Idk he's just so sweet and fun and the vibes are immaculate with him! The most difficult would probably be any dark character

I write a lot about Jake and fluff/hurt and comfort.

I have a Lloyd Hansen fic with a living music box ballerina. It'll be a giant/tiny fic which I know isn't super popular but I find it so comforting and I'm excited to share it!

I love writing Lloyd Hansen and his Reader for SDS. He's just so funny and petty and it's fun to see his shenanigans!

Soooo many things. I want to write a smutty series but smut is just so hard for me to write for some reason. I admire those who write it so effortlessly!

There are many comments that I hold near and dear to my heart. Recently I got a comment from @thezombieprositute who said my ability to turn simple prompts into heart warming stories was a testament to my skills and it really made my day.

18. Have you ever gone outside of your comfort zone for a fic? How did it turn out?

A long time ago I wrote a Wanda Maximoff x Steve Rogers Halloween fic. It was on my old account so it isn't around anymore, though I might repost it here. It was definitely a challenge as it was more involved and took a lot of world building. It turned out okay, but maybe I'll revisit it and do some editing!

Hot take but MAN I really wished there were more artists or just members in general who did more with the female characters from mcsm, and not just all of them just even a handful would be nice because I’m sorry to say this but aside from like a few of them, I really just do NOT care about the male characters in the slightest and that includes male Jesse (except for yellow suspenders, he’s done nothing wrong) like I’m sorry but even if I were to dissect them under a microscope at the end of the day they’re just, there to me.

But the female cast in the other hand, asides from just hating ONE of them, most of them have SO much potential to be used in stuff like AUs or even Fan Art but for most people to blatantly ignore that is INSANE. I think with my mindset being this way since I am in other fan bases (mostly as an observer) where most fans actually pay attention to the female characters (Genshin, Honkai Star Rail, PreCure, Love Live, Idolmaster, or any media with a large amount of female characters in it) and going here is WHIPLASH LIKE EXCUSE ME?

And to bring up shipping, why is that aside from Jesstra most sapphic ships are blatantly ignored for (I’m sorry to say this) Jesskas, the ship that’s the equivalent of stale bread with a glass of lukewarm tap water, not even filtered and crispy. Like the fandom treats the pairing as the holy grail of “perfect” (by making Lukas blander than saltine crackers because we can’t possibly have his sassiness corrupting the innocent green suspenders Jesse (aka making it actually interesting) oh, no, no, no! Thou shan’t be!) like god forbid y’all see someone Maya and Fem!Jesse, Olivia and Petra, Nell and Emily, Harper and Ellegaard (look I know Harper and Ivor are a thing and love them but Harper x Ellegaard is a thing), hell even het ships like Fem!Jesse x Axel, because it’s not your stale white bread of a ship. Like sorry if my insulting this ship but it’s true and cannot hold back anymore.

But besides that I really wish there was more content of the female characters even if it’s just two others and it doesn’t even have to be serious or canon abiding content! What do you think is next for Ian and Mickey post-finale? i think they take a while to really settle into their new place and and make it their own, and it's a bit of an adjustment (for both of them) to fit in with this new crowd and this new environment, but they're learning how to grow and evolve together and at the end of the day that's all that really matters to the both of them

Danbea/Beavers (?) slightly undecided ship name aside I know that this maybe isn't the most popular ship within the fandom and that some think they're too different but to me that's what makes it so interesting. since they're so different, they have the potential to clash which means: MORE ANGST (which I love) and it just adds to the dynamics and makes everything so much more layered and I am nothing if not a slut for characters/ships that have so many layers they make you want to dissect them under a microscope. also Danny and Bea are some of my favorite characters in the story so just put them together and boom true love (at least to me reading about them together) :)

my bluntness, I legit have no filter and if I ever had one it's hanging on by a thread. it's just so funny when I tell it to someone how it is and they're shocked that I was so like "this is your pile of crap and now you have to deal with it" sort of thing without any sort of sugarcoating lol. also according to my bsf this is also something she loves about me too yeee :D

the way I always manage to put my own spin on things, like once I had an assignment in my English class where we had to pick a song and analyze it for the tone and mood stuff like that. so me being me went up to my teacher and asked if I could do mine on "Sie ergibt sich nicht" from Rebecca and he was like "as long as the explanation for the lyrics is in English and you put the English translation, sure go for it" so yeah love that for me lol.

my kindness. a lot of people have told me that some small thing I did like just asking if they were ok or if they needed a hug or wanted to talk made their day when they were having a rough time and I love that I can do that and make others happy because I love to make people happy it just brings me so much joy :))

I've been thinking lately about the Jarra and Amber swap because I was talking about it with someone IRL, and I think I actually do want to acknowledge the language barrier because of the angst potential. The snippet I already wrote would probably change a little but not too much because I headcanon that Jarra (like the nerd she is) actually learned English, kinda like how some people learn Latin today. So does Fian, although that's more for plot convenience.

Amber, however, most definitely does not speak Language.

I woke up and looked around wildly. I was in an unfamiliar room, with a strange man sitting by the side of the bed I was in. What had happened? Where was I? Adika wouldn't have let just anyone come to see me, and he certainly wouldn't have let me be taken--

Then I remembered. The package from my mother. Opening it. The voice in my head. The crystal cage, trying to crush me out of existence as my three-year-old self took over my life.

I wasn't in the crystal cage anymore, but I wasn't in my unit either. That meant the imprint was removed, and I was awake, but... since I wasn't in my unit, it might be too late to escape.

The stranger was saying something, but it sounded like gibberish, and I knew it must be the language of another Hive. Elden's Hive.

This man couldn't be Elden, because he didn't look anything like Forge, but he must be working with him to kidnap me to his Hive.

The stranger repeated the same gibberish phrase, but more urgently.

I decided to play clueless. If I could get some privacy, I might be able to call someone for help, explain that I hadn't requested this transfer of my own free will.

"Where am I?" I asked.

The man's eyes widened in apparent concern. He said another incomprehensible word, then tilted his head at me in a questioning motion.

"Where am I? What happened?" I said, frustrated. Not only had they kidnapped me, they couldn't even bother to translate somehow?

He pursed his lips, then pulled something off his sleeve that looked almost like a dataview but wasn't. Maybe they had different dataviews here.

He waited in silence until a blonde boy, about my age, came rushing in, and exclaimed a single word. "Jarra!" Perhaps that was the man's name? The man stopped him from coming right up to me, and they began talking to each other in their language.

Eventually, I gave in to my irritation and said, "What is going on?!"

The boy paused and looked at me. Then, finally, he said something that I could actually understand. "Why are you speaking English?"

"You haven't exactly deigned to imprint me with your language yet," I said acidly, and regretted it. Lucas had said that imprints could damage my telepathy, and I had seen in his thoughts just how vital I was to the Hive.

The boy's brows furrowed. "I'm guessing... Jarra, you don't remember me?"

"My name's not Jarra."

Was never much of a fan of grumbo/mumscarian. BUT!!! This is because I’m MOSTLY LIFE SERIES VIEWER!!! I only casually enjoy hermitcraft and don’t watch it often. And I KNOW that’s where the ships come from, so all of the life series version of the ship just feels so forced. Which sucks cuz I do actually see some potential for it in like Last Life that would be a hilarious ship!! I definitely lean Grumbo because even in the life series you can see it, tho I see it mostly grian-sided with mumbo technically reciprocating it but not realizing how problematic it is to be dancing around the feelings in the middle of a death game. But that’s just me.

I USED TO BE A GRITHO HATER (but not a full on hater. Just the slightly negative feelings as portrayed here). I remember during limited life I kept seeing gritho stuff and I was like “it’s not gonna happen 🙄” then it happened and I was like 🤯 and bowed down to all the gritho shippers. I also had divine intervention in the form of a dream telling me to ship gritho and now I love them.

Flower husbands is a complicated one that is seen on many negative tiers and I will admit I don’t always like it. But sorry guys I like it just don’t watch Scott’s 3L otherwise you will be traumatized for life

I LOVE RANCHERS but I DON’T LIKE RANCHERS FANS. SORRY. Don’t take this personally either there’s no one in this fandom in particular I dislike (to my memory) but like there’s just something off with rancher fandom idk. It feels like a lot of them are missing the point. My sister is the one who got me into ranchers and even she agrees that a majority of the rancher fan content out here just isn’t it. I feel like it’s the general treatment of Jimmy and the also kind of ignoring Tango in favor of making him just Jimmy’s supportive bf idk. BUT AGAIN DON’T TAKE THIS THE WRONG WAY I LOVE RANCHERS AND THERES BANGER CONTENT OUT THERE!!!

^ also due to the ranchers vs fh war I feel the need to point out that while I seem nitpicky on ranchers but gave fh a free pass it’s because my problem with ranchers is purely fanon while the problems with fh exists within canon. I do also struggle with fh fanon not being what I want (give me liml fh NOW!!!)

Bringing forth another hot topic YOU WILL NOT BE SEEING BIGGRI HATE FROM ME. Sorry pal they are NOT on this list. I don’t know WHY it’s seen as “soo bad” by like ALL SIDES like ok. HUH? I especially don’t get the stance that ppl hate Biggri cuz it always gets used as a stepping stone for scarian. Like ok so you don’t ACTUALLY hate biggri you just hate scarian. I promise you nobody who says “I love biggri” shares that same sentiment on it that you hate so much. Literally why in the world would someone go “I love biggri soo much because I get to completely ignore it in favor of scarian 😍” like HELLO? I understand if that treatment makes the ship leave a bad taste in your mouth but why is the hate directed at the people who ACTUALLY CARE 😭 I MUST be missing something
