After wandering off briefly to set the spider down near a tree, he returned to where Zain was and added "I'm Shrill Bluejay by the way. Who're you?" From the face alone, he assumed this guy was Zero but Shrill figured it's best to ask anyway in case this guy was a copybot. He didn't want to come across as rude.

Someone asked in the comments if Severus would become a love interest and I kinda wanted to share my thougths on it here too! So here was my respone to that question:

"Hm. I'm not sure at the moment. Both Dakota and Tom are very aro ace (just like me!). Which makes their entire relationship I'm building already very convuleted. They're platonic soulmates, in a sense. Queer relationships are important to get right. Especially with HOW Tom and Dakota's relationship works. For Dakota right now? He is NOT thinking about any type of relationship, he's just making fun of Tom (this will take time to evolve). I had this question for myself before too with how hard Dakota latched onto Severus. But I'm not so sure what I want to do with Severus right now. Mostly because Tom is that dramatic dude and would NOT be happy about making this a three person relationship. Severus would NOT want to be near Tom etiher in that same vein. That is technically his boss, they're NOT on even footing and never were. They could be? But that's a hard mentality to shake. Dakota has been on equal footing with Tom since the begining, even though he's not that sure about it. He knows Tom as a vague being. An annoyance that haunts him. They don't have a backstory built on years of working together. Which makes their relationship both easier and harder. So yeah! I don't know yet. Haha TvT sorry that was a lot of words just to say idk with."

This is also a important thing to me because the entire urgh idk yet is why there isn't a / relationship tag. It's all & relationships right now. Also because any relationship is going to take a LOT of time before it's introduced to the plot, and becuase I'm not sure yet how this is going to turn out exactly. I might have pre-written quite a few words but I haven't had a big goal yet as the conclusion of the fic. This is pure self indulgence and sillyness. I'm really big on platonic love, which family type and friendship types. I love a good romance story, but I don't think this is a big romance story? I write Tom and Dakota aroace with my own identity and feelings over it. So it's a complicated mess at the BEST of time. They do exist within their own sphere, and it's important that they are together, but that's not all they are. There isn't anything inherently romantic about them. Though poets might disagree on that lmao. They mean a lot to me it's hard to describe. Am I their BIGGEST SHIPPER? ABSOLUTELY! But I am also their writer so I give a lot of thought on what they mean.

A mysterious infection has broken out within a once peaceful town. Turning its inhabitants into feral, violent, creatures. This blog follows the main 6 survivors of this outbreak, who are trying to find a cure and restore the town back to its peaceful nature. Hopefully before things go too far.

Also, Inanimate Insanity does not exist in this AU

Also also, there may be some things that the readers of this blog might not know which can be known by the readers of the fanfic (if it ever comes out. Also, this isn't me urging you to read the fanfic when it does come out. Just wanted to make this clear just in case)

When Ekko and Jinx met, he was running away from enforcers who were hunting him down for stealing a hex tech gem to power his so called "z-drive". He couldn't hide in the Firelights sanctuary on time at the risk of outing the whole community and his family, so he went in the forest in hopes to divert enforcers' direction

He went deep in the forest and stumbled on a shimmer mining site guarded by several miners. There were tons of caves for him to go through, and seemingly one of them lead to a darker area of the forest where an old mill and a tower resides. Thinking it was abandoned, he hid there for the mean time until he felt something metallic bashed against his head.

He woke up tied on a chair, binded by what it looks like.... blue hair? When his vision cleared, he was greeted by a young woman around his age with extremely long blue hair, pointing a gun at him. She introduced herself as Jinx (rather obnoxiously)

She told him she'll give back his precious stone if and only if he lets her tag along with him. He eventually accepts and plans an escape route, only for Jinx to make a distraction for the shimmer miners using a bomb.

Jinx somehow feels guilty for going away from her tower, something that her father strictly ordered for her protection from strangers. He fears that they might hurt his daughter for her oddity...whatever it means...

But she shook off those thoughts and proceeds to follow Ekko where ever he was heading.

What's surprising to Ekko is that Jinx is clueless to what she sees outside of her tower...not to mention how pale she looks, suggesting that she may not be receiving enough sunlight. He was kind enough to teach her what he does in his daily life.

One of the things Jinx finds fascinating is his knowledge and ingenuity when comes to engineering which she shared interest with. They would talk about it for hours while walking through the forest on their way to Zaun

He questioned why her hair is so long, but she hesitates to answer. Jinx was scared that she may be disobeying her dad's wishes (well she already did), and that her hair was one of her anomalies no one could understand but her father and the doctore he hired to check up on her.

When Ekko got injured from escaping enforcers and goons who nearly caught them at the last drop, Jinx wrapped her hair on his wound to heal him, though there was a side effect similar to shimmer. Jinx's blue hair begins to glow pink and her right arm exposing pink glowing marks which freaked him out, but she assured him he'll be fine. She later apologizes for tagging along knowing she'd only cause him trouble, but he told her its ok

When they got to the Firelight's sanctuary to rest, Ekko asked her who is her dad and his blood ran cold; all along he's been with the crime lord's daughter and he could be putting himself and others in harm.

He was conflicted whether he should take her back and forget about her, or save her from whatever they were doing to her in that tower after Jinx briefly mentioning they run "tests" on her blood, possibly infusing shimmer and mutating her further

Jinx caught up to his plan and proceeds to run away, thinking that she's just a jinx yet again.

I’m a big ol Star Wars and Marvel nerd- My favorite character in all of Marvel is Reddwyn!! Yes he’s is next to non-existent but I DO NOT CARE!! HE IS MY BELOVED WIFE!! Oh and I am an unapologetic Clone and Mandalorian enjoyer (su’cuy, aliit!!).

My day ended up being really good! Which is unusual for me, and a really nice change of pace. No serious panic attacks, no major pain spikes, no serious food issues, no fights, no severe dissociation problems... so I'm really happy about that. Pain is still there, but compared to lately today is less bad. Spoons are kinda low but I don't mind. Also!! Having my hair braided is wonderful and we are looking into this being a full time thing for me so that I don't pull my hair out (it keeps me from being able to do that)!

yeah idk what was up with the event posts; never has a post not appeared on dash (tags sure, but dash?) and even when i removed the video it wouldn’t work but when i switched to my normal layout it suddenly worked??? very weird but i’m happy it works now

also don’t worry about following the event, if you ever feel like it, you can just read up on it later on <3 but for now make sure you rest !!
