Based on my favorite BTS picture of Gabe: Lorne takes a call while Chevy's hanging around his office, winds up sitting on the edge of his desk, and the combo of that sight, Lorne's voice and him effortlessly fielding some executive on the phone makes Chevy feel the need to kiss the life out of Lorne once that phone is back on the hook

OK I literally just saw that photo the other day and had it saved with intentions to use it at some point. I genuinely had something written for almost the exact situation you’re looking for so I tweaked it a little and here you go!!!

Lorne and Chevy sat together in Lorne’s office, laughing easily, the kind of effortless conversation they’ve come to know. The phone rings, the shrill noise cutting through the room. Lorne groaned, pushing himself up from the couch to answer the phone. He picked up the phone, turning around to lean back against his desk, facing Chevy.

“Lorne Michaels,” he said smoothly.

“Mr.Harrison!” Lorne greeted positively, the way he held free hand to his forehead made him look like he was anything but. “It’s good to hear from you.”

“Yes, sir,” Lorne agreed effortlessly, his voice even and measured. Lorne threw a glance over his shoulder to his desk before he took a seat on top of it. He crossed one leg over the other. A pause. “Oh, of course, sir. I understand completely.”

Chevy watched, mildly amused at first. Lorne pointedly gave him a dry look as the man on the phone presumably droned on and on. Lorne picked up the phone base and set it in his lap, looking ready to end the phone call. Lorne leaned his head back, his gaze fixed on the ceiling, fingers drumming lightly on the phone casing.

“No, no, no, I know. I agree wholeheartedly,” he added, resting his elbow on the phone base. The words rolled off his tongue with such conviction that Chevy almost believed him.

In fact, Chevy had seen Lorne handle a hundred conversations like this before, but for some reason, this one had him utterly transfixed. Lorne turned his eyes to Chevy as he crossed the room. Chevy stopped in front of him, leaning against the desk.

“Honestly, sir, you may not know this, but I’ve been in the industry for a while now, and I have to say—it’s refreshing to hear from someone who really gets it. And I’m not just saying that to be polite,” he added, though Chevy could tell he was feeding the guy exactly what he wanted to hear. Chevy reached up to lightly cup Lorne’s cheek.

“Yes, of course. A pleasure speaking with you as well. I look forward to hearing from you,” Lorne insisted, not taking his eyes off of Chevy. “Really, thank you, Mr.Harrison. Have a great rest of your day. Yes, you as well. Bye now.”

Lorne set the phone in the cradle and put it back on his desk beside him with a soft thud. He turned his head toward Chevy with brows slightly raised, mouth parted just a little like he wanted to say something but forgot how.

“What?” Lorne asked.

Chevy smirked, his pulse kicking up as he leaned in closer, pulling Lorne in and capturing his lips in a deep, bruising kiss.

Yes I have!!! The best parts are where Bobby is being a little shit and riling people up or getting tossed into the water. I also especially loved when the book talks about how stressed and anxious they all were before faces, like how they would meet up at night to comfort each other or how Ulbrickson would go room to room to check on them.

VP: It's camp to me. The only sex scene is a montage of the main characters (a sex worker and titular velocipastor) bonding over the course of the movie. It's a low budget film (some of the FX is literally just text on a screen telling you what's there) where you can tell everyone involved is having fun with it and it's one of my favorite things ever. I've heard white gay people on tumblr love subverting christian imagery soooo there's that too

Baby Jane: I heard the old horror gays loved it for the drama and these two older divas' amazing acting (they didn't actually hate each other during the movie. a lot of the rumors were misogynist hokey ). And you know what? These two were great. Love the melodrama

ellie has had a frappuccino once even though joel said it’s “not really coffee” (she ordered it just to spite him) only to fucking hate it so she gets random shit but when she needs energy she gets cold brews for sure with extra cream

dina is smart and knows what she likes and what will wake her up — she gets a vanilla latte with an alternative milk ;)

abby says she’s an expresso shots/black coffee all the way but she’s been caught enjoying a refresher or a tea with fruit in it on some occasions

ok this isnt about minecraft i lied. but it is about COMICS. and sonic the hedgehog. the sonic idw comics are really good and ive been thinkin about them a lot lately. anyway there's a comic-exclusive character named whisper and she is quite honestly one of the comic characters of all time. here she is

she was part of a mercenary team but one of their members turned traitor and got them all killed by android clones of shadow the hedgehog while whisper watched over their comms video feed. you literally get to see this video in one of the spinoff comics. now shes a lone sniper who barely talks/hates crowds and socializing

her whole arc is that she becomes friends with tangle the lemur who is a big loud extrovert and they love each other and are learning to respect each others' boundaries

one time tangle got turned into a zombie and whisper went apeshit. also she has literally tried to kill people before. i love her

Goals: Right now my main goal is to finish the first draft of HtD, I'm getting close, starting the third act today :)

Productivity tip: really bad idea to ask me this, I'm not a productive person most of the time. Really I just wait until the hyperfixation hits me and I write a chapter in an hour, but in vain of the game, fuck a word count or plans, just write shit. I love going to a coffee shop/library/ect. and just writing the worst of the worst shit. No proper grammar, constant changing of tense, just plain rambles sometimes, but you know what, that's okay because I'm doing a first draft and it doesn't have to be good, it just has to be written

Current project: The first draft of my first long-form story (I'm scared of the word novel): How To Drown. Cas Moore, a college drop-out is forced to face secrets he hid from himself when his Mom shows up back in his life. Please feel free to ask me more!
