Sanemi is ALWAYS the one cooking

I’m sorry but I can only see Giyuu fucking up scrambled eggs or something. Sanemi cooks (or bakes) like a professional

I can see Sanemi just volunteering to babysit for their friends (for free<3) and just having a box full of children’s toys for when they come over

Giyuu once overfed a baby to near sickness (“I thought her grabby hands were for more :(“ - “YOU IDIOT, SHE WAS TRYING TO PUSH AWAY THE BOTTLE!!”) and was thereafter forbidden to care for the children (unless they were older than, like, 12)

After a stressful day at work, Giyuu likes flopping down on the couch and having Sanemi run his hands through his hair and hum a bit, maybe small talk

I think Giyuu is actually an open book and horrible at hiding his emotions (like canonically as a child he was like that, only the deaths changed him sooo) whilst Sanemi is better at hiding things

But like after years of living with Sanemi/js being with him, Giyuu has been able to see small telltales

When he’s lying, Sanemi’s eyes flick every so slightly away (so subtly that only a few have caught it before), when he’s upset, he’s a little clingier or his voice is calmer (though many people interpret it as tiredness), when he’s angry but trying to stay calm he’ll probably have a lot of clenched fists (his hand opening and closing x100) but behind his back haha

Why can I see them both as dry texters tho.

Giyuu tries to sound more upbeat by adding emojis/emoticons but overall it’s basically just “Ok 😁👍❤️😋😚✨🎆🎉🎊🎏🍩🔥” // 😭 yeah he doesn’t have a lot of people to text…

Messmer with a crush on someone that can cook really well. The best way to a man's heart is through his stomach, and loathe as he is to admit it, he is no better than a mortal man. Every soup, bread, or pastry they make has his senses singing, so much so that he has to dine in solitude so as not to give away what he hides in his heart. It's not hard to see just how much love and effort is put into every dish, and it doesn't help that even his serpentine companions are considered while they flutter and flit about in the kitchen. Had he not known any better, he might have thought them to be an enchanter, ensnaring him with a magic of some kind... But this isn't the case.

“Hush!” You exclaimed with a frown, sniffling in defeat as you continued to woefully slice your onions. You wanted tonight to be special, it’s been a while since you and Katsuki have had time off due to strenuous hero work. And you wanted tonight to be perfect to a ‘t’.

A perfect bowl of ramen, with your perfect boyfriend. But instead, you’ve realized you can’t even prepare a perfect bowl of ramen. And your sack of shit boyfriend is being a bully about it.

So now you’re crying (involuntarily), chopping onions. Whilst Katsuki snickers at the sight, “Y’know I can help ya?” He says, his tone almost seems as if he’s finally concerned.

You pout, “no! We finally have time off and I never get to cook. How am I supposed to be your amazing, beautiful, dotting wife if I can’t even cook a fuckin’ bowl of ramen!” You spoke out, exasperated.

Katsuki shakes his head before nearing closer to you, “Baby…” grabbing a near by cloth he nears towards you and grabs your face. Patting away the stinging tears brimming your eyes.

You pout at the blonde, “tch.”

“I’m helping you out, and y’still wanna be a brat?” He deadpanned. Rolling your eyes, you continued to chop away at the poor onions. His looming figure takes over your space as his being begins to intoxicate you.

The smell of his cologne mixed with the faint smell of the shampoo to gifted him for your anniversary fills your nostrils. His warm skin teasingly grazed against yours with every breath he draws from his lips. It was peaceful to an extent before he decided to once again, yap his mouth.

“And you’re…dicing, correct?”

“Katsuki!” You groaned, slamming the knife on the cutting board. You look over at the blonde with a deep frown. “I’m sorry I’m not a five star chef like you are!”

“You’re so cute when you’re all angry.” Katsuki pinches at your nose before grabbing at the knife. Settling his body up against yours, he grabs your hands before placing the onion at the center of the board.

“Lemme show you how it’s done” he mumbled in your ear before quickly pressing your a peck on the cheek. Quickly guiding the knife along the onion, he throughly teaches you how to cut the onion.

At first you thought you didn’t need the help, but once you saw his cutting it like that. It was like you reached pure nirvana.

“Oh!” Your eurekas sounded out throughout the kitchen. Bumping him away, you continued to (successfully) slice away. Katsuki chuckled before turning away, but was suddenly halted by the quick grasp of the collar of this shirt.

“Thank you baby,” you quickly give him a passionate kiss before turning back and humming to the nonexistent tune in the air.

“Anytime.”

Hehehe gladly!! There are gonna be some story elements to this as well, so bear with me.

The first part is story (TW) and the second part is HCs!

How they met (Story Elements)

This part can be triggering

After Eashar became EJ and Selcra disappeared (died), he wandered around looking for someone to know and someone who he could take care of and would take care of him.

While walking in a wooded area of (some city in Florida- idk) he finds Liu against a tree, very sad in the aftermath of some very traumatic events.

Liu is prepared to be humiliated and defiled further, but is shocked to see what he thought was a man take off his hoodie and offer it to him.

WHOLESOME TIME

From that point, EJ would follow Liu to his house so he could find his window.

EJ visited him every night.

Sometimes he would find Liu crying. So he would cuddle him and lick away his tears.

Other times, Liu would try and communicate with him.

At the time EJ wasn’t too confident in speaking due to his demonic strange voice. So, he would just write shit down.

One time Liu told him that his English wasn’t great either. EJ never told him that if he learns one human language (doesn’t matter which) he can learn all of them cuz ✨demon magic✨

When Liu died, EJ begged death (Fox) to take him to Hydra so that he can see him again. He’d lost too many friends and loved ones to let Liu go.

Life (death?)

So, I’m gonna do this after the fall of the OR, so they’re in Hydra again.

Liu always wakes up lying on top of Jack. Whenever he tries to get up- EJ will stop him and hold him there until he doesn’t have another choice but to let Liu go. (Like needing the bathroom, food, water, etc)

Jack isn’t allowed to cook for obvious reasons. Their mornings are spent apart so Liu doesn’t puke at seeing his husband eat a human heart.

Liu has to force this man in a shower and to brush his teeth before being allowed to kiss him.

They have to buy toothbrushes in bulk cuz EJ rips em up- his are single use.

Their bed is fucking huge cuz they both giants

Night time cuddles is a god death-given right

Because EJ wants to make sure Liu is safe at all times, he HAS to be touching him skin-on-skin.

Just because of that ⬆️ Liu sleeps shirtless

They have an ass ton of blankets bc Liu is naturally very cold he’s dead and ain’t got hot acid tar running through him

Their bedroom door is always locked because of Liu’s issues from trauma and the fact that EJ sleeps naked even though his junk is inside his body smh

EJ

He can’t keep his hands off of Liu, mostly his sides and back. Because that’s the way he holds Liu while they’re cuddling.

Anytime Liu is sick or in pain, he’ll put his hand on his chest with a little bit of pressure since the weight is grounding for him and he likes the reminder of how strong his husband really is.

Liu has a bite mark on his left shoulder from EJ. If it starts to fade, he’ll throw Liu on his lap and bite into him all over again. Liu usually grabs something to do if he notices it in morning cuz he’s gonna be there for a while.

Liu is the only one who can pet him.

Liu likes to hear and feel him purr, so he doesn’t mind being vulnerable enough to just purr at random. Being in the same room, putting his hands on Liu’s back, intimate activities, being pet, anything- he will always purr without holding back. EJ usually felt it was embarrassing. But around Liu- nahh!!

He will sometimes grab Liu to the couch or bedroom just to lay, nuzzle, headbutt, or knead on him.

Liu

He can’t sit on the couch. It’s like EJ knows when he sits down because he will just throw himself on there and lay his head on Liu’s lap. Buddy needs pets.

He likes flustering, gently frustrating, or making EJ giddy cuz his ears move a lot and he thinks it’s silly.

Sometimes pretends to be sick so EJ will take care of him and so he doesn’t have to go to work. EJ knows he’s lying but indulges him anyway

If he wakes up from a nap, and there isn’t a 6’9” demon laying on him, he will cry.

If he feels insecure he will grab EJ’s hands and just put em wherever it is that he’s worried about. His hubby usually gets the hint.

The fucking king of pets and scritches

Cuddle time is all the time- if he has a chance he is hugging EJ like he’s gonna fade away

Is secretly horny as hell and has to take some deep breaths every morning, basically

Likes to act like an idiot so EJ throws him over his shoulder like a sack of potatoes.

I’ve officially been sober from my strange addiction for a year. What started out as a personal experience that was meant to last a month just kept going and now, I is free at last, free at last, thank God almighty I is free at last!

Anyways what I’ve learned? Anything is possibly if you lock in. But also, what I have is called Pica, it’s a genuine ED and also another indication that I’m probably losing the spectrum allegations??? All these decades I’ve been ashamed thinking I was unjustifiably touched for no reason and a disappointment to the lord above, I was actually GENUINELY touched for no reason and created this way BY the lord above. Now whenever my family tries to strangle me for chewing ice, I can just pull one of those gen z’s and be like “You’re triggering my disorder 🥺” hell yeah. I have such a love hate with being a med student. I feel like I know too much now. I genuinely had to ask my mom if she fr never questioned that the non verbal kid who used to eat dirt and lick dust n shit that was literally hyper fixated on a blanket that I still can’t sleep without might be on the spectrum and she was like. “No, I did think that. And you are on the spectrum.” GUYSSS 😭

Well anyway. I don’t think I can go back. I was going to just go a year and then let myself but idk. I don’t like the feeling of being addicted to shit and also I think the lord is still mad that I broke that promise in 7th grade. My sister was literally hospitalized recently for a stomach thing. IM SORRY LORD 😭🙏🏾 I WAS 13 HAVE MERCY. But I think God, Tobey Mac, and the strangers that probs saw me crying on the plane that day would be proud. IM A CHANGED MAN WOOO! Here’s another snippet which is not seven sentences but like man I couldn’t find a good seven sentences I’m so sorry. Anyway it’s once again from the #Buck running fic. All these snippets are so out of order but oops enjoy.

After dinner everything speeds up pretty quickly. Chris gets ready for bed. Eddie cleans up (“you cooked which means I clean”). And Buck stays seated at the dining table.

“But I want Buck to read!” Christopher complains.

“Not tonight bud, it’s my turn.”

It’s my turn. It sounds so normal, so domestic. It triggers that warm feeling to creep its way through Buck’s chest but it quickly fades.

He’s not sure Eddie would want him as part of this family. He’s always been too much. Too Buck.

Ok sooo since I’ve already basically info dumped all the actual lore I have for these 2 I’m just going to spend this whole post listing off random hcs n stuff so yay :33 

I think they both have like rlly stupid, corny, sappy pet names for eachother. I think we’ve talked about something like this in the past b4 but I kinda wanna expand on it more. Like the shit they call each other is so unserious, James unironically calls B pookie,,,,,,,, n like B will call him stuff like, “sugar, honey, baby, sweetie, darlin’, love of my life,” but like all at once in one continuous string of words, like, is he stupid?[SILLY] N they will do this to a nauseous amount. To the point where like if 1 of them is doing something n the other walks n or smth, they will both more than likely just get so distracted by the other’s mere presents that they just completely forget abt whatever they were doing b4. They just that gay ig, smh, me when I’m such gay that I forgor abt my surroundings, just bc I’m that gay[VSILLY] 

If B wakes up b4 James does n she refuses 2 get up, he’ll like threaten 2 cook breakfast bc he’s shit at cooking n like 9/10 times it works bc B has legitimately stared kitchen fires trying to cook in the past,,,, B also has like a rlly low flavor tolerance, n I don't just mean like spice I mean like ALL FLAVORS. Like, eating a burger would make him feel sick. This is what eating nothing but granola and almond water for upwards of 50 years will do 2 a mf, smh 😔🙏. The 70’s mind could never truly comprehend the modern fast food industry.

B carries James around bridal style at random intervals, just cuz he’s that light weight. It do kinda stem from this underlying need he has to protect the people close to him as much as possible, but also just cuz it’s funny. Like James does complain about it sometimes, but it’s done jokingly most of the time. I also think both of them r just rlly physically clingy, like they r always holding hands or cuddling in some capacity. Idk it’s a trauma thing. Like James does it bc of the whole, y'know, not being loved as a child thing, and B does it bc of backrooms mind-fuck, anyone could die at any moment, mental shenanigans. They're just like super touch starved, borderline codependent at times, like, go 2 therapy PLZ,,,,, 

B legitimately HATES horror movies, like cannot physically stand 2 watch them and can’t comprehend y anyone would want 2 either. Unluckily 4 him tho, James [n Hashley] does not feel the same way. They rlly like 2 watch horror movies n stuff just 2 make fun of them, but they gotta be extra abt it they can't just pick like “normal” horror movies, they gotta put on some freak shit like Tusk or Splice,,,B is evidently NOT a fan of this…

James snores rlly fucking loudly. 2 the point where it just starts 2 sound like white noise after a while. B don’t gaf tho cuz he’s like an extraordinarily heavy sleeper. Like, aside from all the backrooms trauma n paranoia, that’s 1 of the main reasons y he sleeps with 1 eye open, bc it is like cominally hard to wake this man up otherwise. Like. U gotta full on shake him,,, 

James is the only person B is comfortable with seeing most of his scars. He’s fine with, like, Hashley seeing more minor scarage like his hand and parts of his lower leg, but nothing past that. I think that like around their house there r just. like. Random drawers with shirts n stuff in them so that B can just slip 1 on whenever if need be 4 like if they get like a knock on the door from someone, bc B usually sleeps shirtless[gay/VSILLY] 

B is rlly good at putting on fake accents me thinks. Like,,,he kinda hates the way he sounds normally, so, it’s sorta just a skill he developed over time to just. sound like whatever. Impersions 2,,, like if he’s listened 2 someone talk 4 long enough, he can. like. almost perfectly replicate their voice. Like if he’s in a rlly petty mood or smth he’ll do it 2 James cuz he knows it pisses him off

Even just comparing highschool to now…

I did so many clubs and extracurriculars in ms/hs, and wanted to do more. I did a military program, band, a team creativity program thing, martial arts… I even wanted to do stuff like chess club, math competitions, orchestra, etc.

I drew constantly, I did my homework, I attended everything, I generally felt productive.

And now like… the last time I drew was over a month ago. I had to drop most things due to lack of time and loss of motivation, I only do band now. And… I don’t practice my instrument. I constantly forget homework, I never study. I was a gifted kid, and I thought the burnout would plateau in college. But it’s only gotten worse. I haven’t made any friends here. I don’t know my roommates names or anything about them. I haven’t made a proper meal (aka actual cooking, not just box stuff) in weeks.

I want to indulge my hobbies more. And I know the biggest reason I couldn’t is because of Friend Issues™️, deteriorating mental health, and school. And like yeah I’m finally getting out of ‘need constant distraction or the Harmful Thoughts will come back, but now it’s just… I feel empty without it.

I miss the kid I was. She couldn’t have ever imagined life would be like what it is now…

She has no idea we’re trans, we’re disabled, we broke up with that one guy who actually turned out to have cheated on us, lost that one friend who meant everything to us, learned how actually disgusting this stupid state is to the point I’m scared and tempted to take down any visible pride things I have because of elections, not even the fact we’re a system.

But like we got cool ass dyed hair and piercings and tattoos that’s sick at least. I want more.

It’s hard to think about what my life would have been like if I hadn’t done this one thing. If I hadn’t spoken to this person, if I hadn’t watched this show, if I hadn’t gotten an account on this website…

Yet, I really don’t think there’s a universe where life is any better than this. There’s a lot of shit, but there’s some wonderful things too.

Yeah I was cheated on, injured my leg, traumatized, constantly sick as a kid, made absolutely terrible mistakes, but. Now I’m in an apartment studying something I love, I’m playing fantastic music and I’m a lovely musician, I’m making fashion choices that I like, I’m doing what I want with my body. I’ve even got a fantastic boyfriend and group of friends that I don’t feel like I have to pretend around. I never realized how much I was masking and pretending and hiding until I met these people.

Idk whether I’m happy or sad. Something something cancelled out I guess. Now that Friend Issues™️ is over after being stuck with them for over a year, things finally feel like they’re (somewhat) going up. Just gotta stay alive until then. And I think working on fixing my sleep schedule is helping. No more staying up till 5-6 am!! Need a Morgana to bitch at me to sleep smh

I should pick up a new hobby. I still kinda feel like I’m distracting myself with my interests instead of enjoying my hobbies. I’d like to do something artistic, but I don’t have the motivation to really draw.

Maybe I’ll have some motivation tomorrow between classes. I do wanna draw my new oc and give him a solid outfit instead of just ‘inspo’…

it feels like they’re trying to catch up with all of their delayed stuff, which is good for them and for us ig. they’re already filming two of the announced shows, and phuwin said they are gonna start filming we are pretty soon - they have three q’s for wednesday club left and filming for we are should start soonish after he’s done with that. also, the interest has already been filmed i think. same goes for my precious which is apparently just a longer version of the movie from what i’ve gathered.

and i just saw that they dropped the wednesday club trailer which is supposed to start airing at the beginning of november (sidenote: i love how they air two eps a week for a lot of their het shows lmao). 23.5 is definitely gonna air in 2024 but we already knew that. cooking crush and last twilight might take over the slote of dangerous romance and only friends. so that would be another two unaired gmm23 shows out of the way.

pls fk also had me fooled. mostly bc they said they were gonna go on stage together and i mean they didn’t lie but damn was i disappointed when it was only for school rangers and the LOL announcement lol.

pond definitely said he was gonna focus on school next year, but idk about joong. i would love for him to do at least another show, preferably with dunk 🤡, since i don’t think he’ll play a huge part in ploy’s yearbook and his arc looks to be a adoptive siblings falling in love with each other story which i’m personally not a fan of.

i’m also very bad at predicitions but i think it’s mostly because i’m heavily biased when it comes to my faves 😭.

Also also hopefully this isn’t overstepping or anything but I wanted to let you know that you’re not alone and I really related to your ‘scroll past this’ post :( it’s kind of hard not feeling that way and I do kind of get impostor syndrome too just cause I feel like I can never accomplish anything and I can never make it to people’s expectations of me but honestly I think I just need to be kinder to myself? And you should too! Something I do to remember that I have to be kinder to myself is by imagining my inner monologue being directed to the younger version of myself. I went through a lot when I was a kid and I just know that if I say what I say to myself/about myself to my younger self then it would completely destroy me. And if it would’ve destroyed me then, why wouldn’t it destroy me now? And it’s cause it does. It chips at me, albeit slowly. And then I’ll just absolutely break down one day. But we’re on this earth too short to be hurting and anxious and insecure all the time. When you feel overwhelmed it’s good to just… back away for a bit. Maybe cook, get some ice cream, take a walk in the park, just sit outside and breathe. Ground yourself and remind yourself that although you’re not perfect, no one is. You can always be a happier version of yourself though so just do what feels right at the moment and live in the moment :) I don’t want to downplay your pain at all but I really hope that I could provide at least a smidge of comfort since that’s what I do when I’m really feeling down (esp existential rip) :,)

ahh thanks tulip 🥺 i really appreciate u saying all that, and ,, yeah,,, i never really thought abt like if i was speaking to my younger self like that and it really does put things into perspective. i've become the person who i despised yet was desperate to please when i was a kid, and that's ,, awful. it's awful esp since i can't run away from myself like i could those people from my past. im sorry u went thru shit as a kid :( ig we find our own ways to cope and grow and try to move on, and maybe we won't always make it out of the woods immediately. i used to think i had a pretty good view of myself, and then i realized it was all just a cover-up? like it was a mask on top of a mask and it was fake and it was just covering up all the truly damaged parts of me like a bandage over a bullet wound. yeah fsfs! i forced myself to step away that day. i actually went and cleaned my bedroom workspace up w like noise cancelling headphones on and it made me feel so much better. bro fr like,, when do we not feel existential atp, sometimes i feel like im not actually "go w the flow" but "i don't care enough anymore"
