Heya Tumblr! After I played some Crystalline Universe (that roblox steven universe rp game), I was thinking of like a SU/Cookie Run type AU. It's also like late at night when I'm writing this so forgive me if I make like 0 sense at all lmao

So Gingerbrave, Wizard, and Strawberry will be our main characters, since they are in canon. Instead of one of them being like a powerful diamond type character, I think that they'll be humans. Instead of the Ancients and/or Beasts being the Diamond Authority, I think the Nature Guardians -- Wind (Green Diamond), Frost (Snow Diamond), Storm (Yellow Diamond), and Moon (Blue Diamond) specifically -- should be! There are more Diamonds, but they aren't apart of the Authority (for plot reasons idk yet).

Stardust (Black Diamon/Onyx) is going to kind of like the Rose Quartz/Pink Diamond expy, though different. He stays on Earth with the humans and learns valuable lessons of friendship and stuff from Gingerbrave and Co! Milky Way (either a ruby or maybe a sapphire?) and Space Doughnut (a Rose Quartz) were two old members of his court and are still with him! I will not separate my trio!

Elder Faerie is the White Diamond expy. I think it's fitting because of the Silver Knights Oath. Silverbell is a pearl and Mercurial Knight is an amber (yes ik not a gem, but look i think it's cool). EF's not evil at all, he's just doing what he believes is best for both his planet and his court.

The Ancients and Beast fall into these courts: Pure Vanilla (Angelite) and Shadow Milk (Aquamarine) are in Blue Diamond's Court, Dark Cacao (Onyx) and Mystic Flour (Morganite) are in Snow Diamond's Court, Golden Cheese and Burning Spice (Jaspers) and Hollyberry (Rose Quartz) and Eternal Sugar (Spinel) are in Yellow Diamon's court, and White Lily (Sapphire or Pearl) and Silent Salt (Amethyst) are in Green Diamond's court.

Idk about a general plotline, but I think a fun Planet Mercury plotline (bc i am the CEO of this ship) would go something like this:

Through a series of hijinks, a rejuvenator falls into the Earth crew's hands. They hold on to it in case of emergency. Of course, an emergency happens. Mercurial/Amber attacks them for whatever reason and they're forced to use to the rejuvenator on him. However, he's under that weird White Diamond Spell thing, but at this point no one knows who he works for. So when they poof him and his gem turns from gray/white to orange, there's a lot of confusion. They bring him back to their base of operations and wait for him to reform. When he does, he is nothing like they expect. Instead of the terrifying and battle hardened commander they grew to fear, he's an extremely pleasant and gentle Gem who's job is to look after the Kindergartens and scout. Amber also immediately starts calling Stardust/Onyx "My Diamond", seeing through his disguise, and asking when the work shall begin. Onyx tries to find where Amber's real Diamond is, since he can see the White Diamond insignia on his uniform, but is largely unsuccessful. Looks like they got an amnesic with them for a while!

When Amber finally regains his memories, he's really confused. These are his enemies, why had they treated him with such kindness? Why did he feel so conflicted about returning back to his Diamond? What the hell happened???????? Guess we'll never know huh? lmao

I'm rambling a lot under the cut about potionomics self insert stuff

I've been trying to keep a more consistent look to my self inserts just so u can be able to point at it and be like hey! It's ashe!

(Because previously I was just doing pink girl and boy blue duos, which was fun! I got to indulge a lot with my masc side! But also not so fun for me story wise haha.)

But I also don't want to reuse themes/ideas! And while I think a princess vibe would go swimmingly with the loan shark vibe of Finn (think.. mafia princess!), it's also like.! Boo, I've already used the princess idea for UTMV bc my main f/o over there is very princely.

The bangs over the eyes is a must, always. And I want to incorporate the bow somewhere too! I don't know if I want to tackle the doll theme onto this one, as my previous two self inserts have been dolls. For the aesthetics, but it's also been like a vent kinda thing where I don't feel like a person?? Not sure. But it felt right. I might not tack it onto this one though.

I'm thinking still of doing something fairytale related because that's my jam! It's been my interest ever since I was little <3 I also gotta fit in with the game's design/overall aesthetic.

I got the physical boxset, so I have the artbook, which is great! I can look thru it for inspo/help.

So..I've already discussed with my partner about my self insert being a baker + bookseller / witch who puts spells on her foods. So there'd be witch + baker theme.

My heart really wants to say go for a red riding hood theme! It's fairytale inspired, and we can throw a basket into the silhouette! The cloak/robe/hood can fit the witch silhouette too perhaps?? I feel like the fairytale vibe also adds into the magical/witch aspect at least a little bit.

At least in pairing with Finn, I think it makes sense, theme wise? He's the big bad 'wolf' to my self insert's little red. Can easily also make him the lumberjack too that saves the day, mix both of them into one.. ah, I'd have to think about it more.

I can also have it where my self insert is a nature witch, and grows most of her ingredients in her garden, they're just tricky. Golden and rotten apples, whichever else. And the ingredients is what causes the food to be of no actual substance?

Do i continue on with the fairytale curse idea? My UTMV self insert is a doll that wants to be human, and she must find true love to do that. Very little mermaid and princess tutu esque inspired, I'm not sure if I should go with that for potionomics. It's fun! I love the trope, I'm a big fan of the older Disney princesses haha. And it wouldn't be out of the question in the universe. I could do the Ole "little red is a wolf too" type thing, and she's been given a human form for a certain amount of time so she can find true love. But then comes the time restraint.. and why is she able to open up/work at a shop during that time? It would work into the nature witch thing at least. BAH.

I'm thinking giving her a long braid that way I can still add the bow at the end without the top part of her design being too cluttered. I can also say this is rapunzel/tangled inspo! But I'm mostly pulling from raiden here bc I'd like to do the glowing hair thing for funsies!

And also for suresies a heart locket somewhere, even if it's not explicitly in the design... it's a must!

Gosh this isn't even including the already set world building the game has. Maybe Maven is the one who cursed her ???? Taking a wolf and turning her human to make her an unwilling servant as a way to selfishly fulfill her wish?? Maven could keep her human, but cursed her to where she would return back to her wolf form if she dared to leave Maven. And now that Maven is "gone", she must find true love to keep her form permanent. GOSH idk, it doesn't really fit the timeline. 😭😭😭😭☹️ I'm sure I'll come up with something.

FNAF Movie Spoilers ahead!

• Jirou is a casual enjoyer, got into the fandom because of the music lol so she loves The Living Tombstone and wants to see if they'll make it to the movie's soundtrack. Her fave song would be I got no time (not bc its my obsession at the moment or anything lol what).

She would put on an all black outfit with striped sleeves and leg warmers, do some loosely puppet inspired make up and call it a day.

• Tokoyami bc of course, come on. Look at him -a horror kid and a theater kid at the same time- he can't not like fnaf come on dude like.

His fave game would probs be Fnaf4 or maybe a fanmade like TJOC or Jr's.

What I'm still debating on is whether or not he would dress up for the movie (maybe like a securitiy guard or like puppet?? Or perhaps he'd just wear a formal suit Idk)

Also buckle up this post is long bc if there's one thing I will not do it is make brief post. Also I have a lot of opinions on this.

First off I have to put the one that's been on my mind the most: I think Velvet and Veneer would get on great with Electra but specifically two different versions of him. Velvet would vibe with pre-2018 rehaul Electra and Veneer would lean closer to post-2018 rehaul Electra. Both versions are major huffy puffy rich divas who don't like things not going their way, but post-2018 holds a slightly more mellow tone to him while still being just as much of an antag as his colorful counterpart, which I thing matches Velvet and Veneer pretty well. Idk if anyone else has noticed but Velvet has brighter and more saturated eyeshadow than Veneer in their final fits, at least it looks that way to me. Second I have to mention one that's stuck to me hardcore and that's Poppy and Pearl but SPECIFICALLY post-2018 Pearl. Any possible starlight express fans seeing this post might think pre-2018 would be more sensible bc they're both pink but the thing is they have major personality contrasts. I think that post-2018 Pearl would get on better with Poppy because she has a younger and more peppier feel to her than her counterpart does, what she lacks in color she makes up for in being So Incredibly Confused all the time and honestly she just radiates Poppy to me far more than pre-2018, so yeah I think post-2018 Pearl would be good friends with Poppy. Hell great friends even. Though I ALSO think that Poppy would get along great with Rusty because he's a very excitable character and he has the EXACT determination and drive to succeed that Poppy has, the biggest difference between them though is that Rusty is a lot quicker to give up, he's got support but where Poppy has an entire kingdom at her back Rusty only had a handful of people and only two of them were complete steady support (I'm not knocking the Rockies bc their advice to him was genuine but hey read the room he knows the system sucks). Though on that note I think Rusty could get along good with Branch too, probably a tad bit closer with Poppy but they'd both be his pals in my eyes.

Next up, I really do believe that both Greaseball and Flat-Top would get along with ALL of the rock trolls. But like specifically the rock trolls. Genuinely. Flat-Top would be more receptive to all of them while Greaseball would be less inclined to get personal with a lot of them and would chill better with the more titular guys like Barb. Flat-Top is just generally very punk and wild while Greaseball is very self-confident. I don't know how well Val and Flats would get on but I do believe he and Riff might get long better than he would any of the others. Greaseball would however get along best with Barb and mostly tolerate the others, maybe he'd enjoy Demo's company, but DEFINITELY not Blaze Powerchord. GB and Electra's rivalry is canon proof that diesel CANNOT STAND people as overconfident as he is.

^^^ pictured Barb and GB being silly because Greaseball's a self-absorbed dude and Barb is aggressive but what they have in common is they're actually goobers and few people truly see this. This is also part of why I think they'd be friends.

Jonah and Lorraine are two of my OCS that are in this circle of my Darling Wonderful OCS aka the ones I actively think about and make content for. They're in the same realm as Dulcie and Eli and Marley and Vio. Which is to say My Main Ocs.

They're also the select few that have a story/narrative of some kind! Of which I'd like to one day actually write or make comics for.

The basics of Jonah is that she's essentially a super soldier experiment, not being "finished" but the newest model that's being worked on. All lab grown, not a "real person" and therefore is not treated as such. She's made as an organic war machine and is extremely strong and durable; tear tanks and armies apart with her bare hands strong and durable. But she's also INSANELY dehumanized and abused within her facility to the point where she's just kind of. Completely apathetic and numb and permanently in a Fight state of being as a defensive mechanism.

She ends up turning on the facility during a regular trial run of her progress and she SLAUGHTERS most of the lab and facility workers. She escapes the facility and doesn't really have anywhere to go so she just Picks Somewhere. She ends up escaping to a city and climbing through a random window post-carnage and meeting Zach. A random fucking English major who can't really do anything about this massive murder woman who is now in his place.

Her entire thing is that she's learning what it means to be human while dealing with A: trauma and PTSD from Everything and B: a government desperate trying to get her back. Big Woman enjoyers who want someone severely emotionally stunted and permanently stressed out but trying her best may like her. Also she's bisexual and her blood is BRIGHT pink.

Lorraine is a chieftess of a sky island that floats over The Abyss, governing it with her two brothers. She basically oversees the safety of the villages and makes sure people are fed and tended to. Things have been getting hard though, as the island keeps crumbling little by little, and the island seems to have been falling apart faster after Lorraine's father died and she took over. She ends up getting betrayed by one of her brother's and challenges to a duel because he blames her for things sucking really bad + he's jealouuuuussss.

Lorraine loses the duel and gets stabbed through the gut with the family spear ( which has lightning magic fun fact ) and physically KICKED over the side of the island by her brother. She falls and falls and falls, spear STILL INSIDE HER, and she falls into The Abyss, which is like. An infinitely stretching void way below the island. If you fall over the edge, you aren't coming back.

But Lorraine falls into The Abyss. And wakes up. In a fucked up new world that is mangled and twisted and decaying. She gets attacked by some [creatures I haven't named yet ValleyStalkers idk] and manages to fight them off with her spear, but just barely. She faints bc of blood loss + exhaustion + lightning magic. But THEN. PLOT TWIST BITCH SHE JUST DRAGGED INTO A LITTLE ROCK SHELTER BY A LITTLE GIRL. PEOPLE CAN LIVE DOWN HERE.

Lorraine gets nursed back to health by this young girl and Lorraine is hellbent on clawing her way back up to the island and slaughtering her brother for his betrayal. And she adopts the girl and sets off on a journey to leave The Abyss. Also she's like in her 40's-50's and is a cool trans woman with a wife. For my woman enjoyers who like a stern and commanding lady who is also very sweet and sacrificial. Also who has a kickass lightning spear passed through her family's lineage.

Lorraine's lore document is collecting dust as we speak but I'd like to finalize some lore of the worldbuilding + Abyss, as well as OTHER CHARACTERS WHO AREN'T MENTIONED BC THE STORY NEEDS DEVELOPED. Jonah doesn't have a lore document yet bc I'm. Lazy.

Like even stella got affected from being underground too long, and was visibly happier when she was gone I think there was a scene in season 3 where valtor put musa in a sound-proofed bubble and she was noticably affected, tecna is the only one who didn't feel SOME connection to nature in season one but had that ep in season 2 where she linked the red fountain ship up to her brain ?? bloom and her connection to the essence of the dragon flame and. But we don't see Aisha have this connection with liquid or water (making rain controling soda cans, splashing a smoothie in soneone's face is all very light stuff compared to the other girls) until later seasons like fate and wow. Even in the first movie she said that she can feel every last drop from the shallowest puddle to the deepest ocean, but also not really???? Like I agree with the other person that her connection is different than flora (but im also questioning what is her limit with "nature") but she should have had her own input (maybe questioning the pattern of the tides or something). I just wonder why the show says she's the fairy of waves but only ever seems to emphasize her morphix abilities.

In that same EP where Musa is trapped in a silence bubble, Flora was put in a darkness spell and APPARENTLY that hurts her too because nature needs the sun to survive or something???

The limit of Flora's nature powers are both non-existent and very strong. Anything that can be considered a plant counts, Flora don't do animal magic XD

Anyways Musa seems pissed and exhausted. It's really up to interpretation if she's exhausted because she tried to break out and it didn't work or if it affected her negatively on a mental level

Stella and Flora are the only ones affected in a big physical way, Flora ends up in pain and Stella grows exhausted and pale, like someone's literally sucking the vitamin D out of her

Also Tecna plugging herself into the computer kinda implies that she feels no connection. If she could connect then she wouldn't need the plugs, she just kinda filters all the ships programs though her magic idk if it's supposed to be her brain. She calls her self the new main computer but aside from that /shrug Your Tecna does not come with Bluetooth

That's true Bloom only has a connection to the dragon flame, but when the Trix stole the dragon flame and she still had a piece of it she was unable to sense the Trix? But she also didn't know she had it so that could be considered a cop-out

everyone keeps telling me puentalay are taylor swift coded but i've never really listened to taylor swift that much (i don't really count the radio hits i was subjected to throughout my life). so this was my excuse to finally get into her music! mostly through jessi's @patprans amazing vv edit from a while ago. i went through that whole list of songs in it and i have to say it was a journey.

from it, this love stuck with me the hardest. tbh i cry with it now if i listen to it bc it feels so right for these two. so thank you to you both for opening my eyes, i suppose XD not that i ever really was against any of this, i just didn't have the right motivator before. now i had that and the time. it was fun ♥

and don't worry, i also looked into red! i do know that song haha, i haven't grown up under a rock after all. but i had to look at the lyrics properly and i do get where you're coming from with this prompt. i can feel puentalay there, especially bc of the colors. which i wanted to hold onto even when i abandoned the song itself!

so there's blue, as their beginning and ending. there's black and gray for the missing part, for the loss and grief and longing. and then there's red towards the end for the love! which. truly if loving puen is red am going insane for a little bit. we have had the convos about puen and red, am not digging into that again.

i really love the way this song starts and how it seems to tell the whole puentalay journey in just, what is that, one verse? well, you know. in just a few lines we've come from their starting point to the inevitable tragedy of them having to separate, and then we've come to their reunion and persevering love.

so the edit tries to interpret all that. the first pic is about the water (which i've been thinking about so much and am going insane about it currently, there's so much Water!!), about how talay gets swept into this other universe and how he finds puen. which. i hope you get it that this is also about that glass house scene in ep 4 where talay runs through the rain to get to puen again. that's important. that's puen's tide - that rain.

and then there's a bit of fluff there. about the things they could go on and on about. about these moments where they find each other. about these moments where they... idk. are just lovely and in love. i wanted to show that.

bc i needed that before we hit the angst town! skies grow darker? currents come and sweep you away again? yeah, so true. puentalay literally just get together and then they're fighting which leads them to the secret island. which then, kind of, steals puen from talay a bit later. I tried to show all that too.

and then it's just. episode 11 part 1/4 heartbreak hours. that part is legendary and i love the angst so much even if watching it feels every time like someone is trying to carve my heart out with a plastic knife. but this line in the lyrics!!! it was just so perfect. gosh. (paired with the "and this love came back to me" like CMON i could make another edit only for that)

this then leads to the pink and the red. bc next we see what they had, what good things they got. the "silent screams" are, for me, about talay. about how he's saying he doesn't do love, doesn't really think about it, but still ends up seeking it. and idk, the dusty heart thing always gets to me. that's kind of his silent scream; talking about the love he does not want to the guy who wants nothing else but them to fall in love. how ironic.

puen got the "wildest dreams" then bc damn, that man has so many Wild Dreams. i didn't want to include the popcorn eating in this bc that would've made this edit cracky imo, so there's now just puen intensely staring at talay. this man is up to no good. his fantasies are horrible yet so, so cute. am so happy he actually got to finally live his popcorn fantasy XD what a doofus.

I Say absolutely jack shit of note here I just wanted to yap about the arcane posters, probably stuff other people have noticed already but idk im bored as shit rn

So obviously these two are the opposites of eachother, story of opposites type shit yknow we know the deal, vi protecting powder and jinx protecting vi.

However vi in both of them is still looking away, but we can see her expression in the 2nd one, jinx is still looking at whatever it is she's looking at in both the posters, idk what this means but whatever, maybe she's choosing to show vi what happened in the 2nd one but vi's ignoring it

Oh, i can’t believe I only now get around to answering this one, I love the 5 things ask! (got this one 6. Dezember 2022 o.O just over a year ago!)

Thanks so much for this ask, and thanks for the ‘no pressure’ addition too, some of those chain mails can be so pushy :D but for this, I come prepared! A while ago I started writing some down for this specific ask meme, both because it’s a nice thing to write it down when there’s something making you happy, and so the answers to this would have some variety :D

- Using the ginger from store bought (veggie)sushi boxes to make ginger tea aka gollum juice! Idk, it just fills me with such joy every time <3 I used to always throw out the ginger bc I don't like to eat it, and that's just wasteful, so I just didn't buy sushi boxes much, and then when I got into liking ginger tea, the whole ginger I'd buy is just too much for me to use, and not fresh ginger tea just doesn't taste right... but now that I thought of doing this, I get my sushi boxes and my tea and it's amazing! (from Sept 27)

- Wearing long skirts. I never used to - I think I was stuck on the image of them being stuffy and uncool, and I still remember reading one children's/teen book where the protagonist makes fun of the goodie two shoes girls in their plaid skirts... well, anyway, about a year ago or two, I was at a yard sale with my little sister, just looking around, she was looking for some necklaces and shirts I think while I wasn't really searching for anything for myself so I was just looking for her, when I saw this dark striped pleated skirt, and first when I tried it on I still wasn't sure about it but it was like 3€ so I took it anyway... and I haven't looked back since! I got another one in pink and beige at a store, and my favourite vintage green and gold patterned one on eBay, and two layered flowy ones in black and in white on holiday in Belgium last summer, and they're all so nice and swishy and I enjoy the aesthetic of long skirts immensely! There's also the added benefit of them not adding to my chronic pain - I basically just wore hotpants or harem trousers the years before bc I had finally figured out that wearing jeans made my legs ache a Lot (not necessarily while wearing it but also afterwards which is why I hadn't known before, only after not wearing them for a while and then trying some on again I noticed the difference) & maybe child me telling my parents that everything but pyjama pants were 'uncomfortable' and I wanted to wear them to primary school was onto sth lmao Anyway, so I had already found trousers that don't hurt me so the skirts didn't exactly change that, but I also like how they look and feel!
