It's been a hot minute since I've made a post like this - OG followers might remember when I used to make 'em much more often haha!

Anyway, hi!

House of the flippin Dragon season TWO officially starts TOMORROW!? WHAT??! ARE YOU JOKING? It's been FOREVER and now that it's here I'm having a hard time it's actually happening! AHHHH!!!

During my time in this fandom I've wrote 41 fics. That is soooo insane to me! HotD as a whole (I wasn't involved in the GoT fandom but I was and forever will be in love with it), and Aemond, gave me my spark of creativity back. Before coming here, I hadn't wrote anything in probably 5-6 years. I've always loved writing and then I just... stopped. Idk. It's more complex than that but it gets pretty personal and I don't really feel like talking about it. But, yeah. Writing was something I didn't really plan on doing anymore. Then... boom! After S1 was over it hit me so hard and I couldn't NOT do it! I dove in head first and I remember after posting my first ever fic on here, that I was shaking SO bad from nerves, anxiety, excitement, being scared, all of it - WHOA.

I realize 41 fics might not sound like a lot to some people, but for me it is. It's a lot. It's countless hours not only physically writing/typing, but also simping, brainstorming, brainrotting, talking to fellow fandom freaks, rambling in discord, yelling about this and that, reading sooosososo many other people's fic, hyping them up, cheering for people, rooting for people, and SO much more! I love fandom. I really do. It's truly a community and since the end of S1 I've genuinely enjoyed my time here with all of you!!

I'm blown away at the kindness I've found here. The support. The sense of community. All of it! I have friends in my phone from ALL over the world and it's sososo wild to me!

Thanks to everyone who's ever been nice to me (LOL) and read/supported my stuff. As someone who came from niche OC writing to this? I am forever blown away at the community and support here within this fandom. I've made friends and created friendships I never even imagined I would when I came here!

ILY and I cannot wait to experience S2 with you all, and to see what a new season will provide for further fanfiction, fanart, and fandom craziness!

ok sorry to be coming a day late but i was star struck after the concert and i was mingi brainrot all day yesterday it was ridiculous. (legit spent all day watching my concert videos and went on a great quest on all the socials to find more clips of the concerts also my in laws came to visit)

again i loved yunho's and mc's friendship in it. he's such a great friend and a cutie. he peptalked her to infinity we love to see it.

but in term of cuteness he doesn't come close to the man of the hour the one and only park seonghwa. he was adorableeee like my heart was just aching the whole time (plus i was reading this while standing in line and gosh i was just gushing).

and when yunho said "hot daddy" i felt that.

and seonghwa just babbling about nari!!!! i could see the hearts in his eyes as he browsed throught the numerous pictures on his phone. and when he opened up to mc about their past and the unresolved shit they still had it was so genuine i wanted to hug him so badddd. like sometimes the dads need a hug too :(

and mc!!! what a business woman (maybe im falling for her a lil bit too lolz). i loved how she took advantage of the moment by dropping the plan to seonghwa. and at the same time i feel like between the lines this was just an escape for her. maybe the memory of that night hurts too much and she pushed her pain deep down to forget about it and she wasnt ready to open the wound back up again. so she jumped to known and reassuring territory meaning business, work. idk.

but seonghwa on the other hand i feel like paternity forced him to become somebody that is in touch with his feelings to be able to understand his daughter's. if u want to connect to anybody you have to open up and i feel mc is struggling with that maybe seonghwa can show her that showing vulnerability isn't being weak... quite the opposite. (i struggle with that all the time)

its beautiful cause they have a lot to learn form each other and i cant wait to see what you have in stock for this fic.

i actually had to work during easter if i remember correctly butttt my new job is really good 🥹 last week was the first time when i actually disliked it (my coworkers had a bad day and that just brought up very unhappy memories from my old job) but it's all good again and i'm having so much fun, i finally get to bake cakes!! and if they're not having a weird day my coworkers are really nice too (and give me lots of praise which is 👀. i am beaming after every compliment). apart from my job i'm doing good too, my mental health, mood and health overall has gotten so much better ever since i switched jobs and finally work normal hours again. and yesterday was the first time since idk when when i could sit down and really enjoy and get invested in a show again, i missed that so much.

i will ignore the drinking enough water part because when have i ever... although i do drink more now since i get it for free and fresh and cold at my job. so yay me i guess 😍 i am eating well though, and yesterday i tried making a cocktail (without alcohol) and it was really good. how about you though?? i talked way too much about me.

buttt writing is more fun than ever again which i am so so happy about, i have so many wips waiting to be finished right now 😶 but it's really fun. AND YES THE COMEBACK!!! they look so good in the promo pics, i can't wait for the release. just one more week!

jungwon arrived at his seat to have a letter on his desk, again. yes, again, and it's been happening for almost a month. "wow they really are crazy for you" you said while pointing out the letter on his desk, jungwon just chuckled and sat down.

you and jungwon had known each other since middle school, he's been there for you and you did the same. you were seated beside him and you watched him read the letters.

his face slowly lights up every time he read each letter each day. "i really don't know who this person is- but they have been making my hear flutter" he says while chuckling a bit. you smiled at him, admiring his features- especially that dimples he has on his cheeks.

"would you like to meet them?" you asked. "of course! they've been doing this for like- a month!" he says while you laugh at him a bit. "why? do you know them?" he asks, raising a brow. "...maybe" you say. "wow! really? what are they like?" he asks.

suddenly this weird feeling grows into your chest, what were you supposed to say? and why did you even say that? "uh... they look pretty decent? yeah they look pretty nice... i guess" you say while avoiding eye contact. "i bet they look beautiful" he says softly.

you looked confused, was he starting to fall for his secret admirer? understandable- it's been practically a month- but he has never seen them, how could he possibly have a crush on them?

your thoughts were then cut off when the teacher walked in the room for your class.

"oh! another one" jungwon said. ah yes, a new day, a new letter. "cute" he says softly as he read the letter. "cute?" you say as you took a peek at the letter.

jungwon was very curious to who this person was and to why they like him. maybe he was moving on from having a crush on you? no, he still thinks about you every time. heck he even though you were the one sending in letters.

only to see the handwriting wasn't similar to yours. he's never told you that he was in love with you- just because of the fear you didn't like him back or you had someone else even though he knew well you were single.

"y/n..?" he impulsively called out. "yeah?" you say as you turned around. he looked confused, really, he thought you had dashed off to head home. but no, you were here. "you're really eager on meeting them huh?" you say. "yeah..." you could hear him say under his breath.

you felt your hands shake a bit, your heart beating loudly against your chest. you took a deep breath "well... surprise! i was the one sending those" you say, voice a bit shaky.

jungwon looked at you with such a confused look. "w-wait. it doesn't even look like your handwriting! how?" he asked. "i asked a friend to write those, since i didn't want to make you letters that would make you recognize it was me" you explain.

it was hard for jungwon to believe though, he had asked for this but he's feeling different. "come on y/n, you're full of jokes- i know this isn't you" jungwon said, in denial with what your claims.

you took a deep breath once again and held out a paper. "...do you really not believe me?" you asked softly. "i... don't" he said and it made you nod.

"look at the letter as i read this" you say, referring to the letter he was holding. you started to read the letter out loud- and they were the exact same words that was written on the letter. "this was the actual letter- i just told a friend to rewrite it for you" you say with a small sigh.

"...jungwon i like you. i really do, and i did this so you could fall for the admirer... which was me. i'm sorry if i fooled you, i knew you were expecting someone else"you say with your head low. "i'll get going now" you say softly heading towards the exit of the rooftop until a firm grip was on your wrist.

you faced him, jungwon was holding your wrist- looking down at it. "i just didn't expect it to be you, y/n... but do know i've fallen for you already for the longest time" he said and looked into your eyes. "what?" you say in confusion.

"yeah... i actually can't believe that you were the one who had written them- hell i even wished it was you, and it came true" he says with a soft smile.

warm tears cascade from your cheek. "y/n? please don't cry..." jungwon said as he removed his hand from your wrist. "i thought you were mad at me" you say softly. "because of the letters? of course not" he says as he pulls you into a warm embrace.

this is probably not gonna be connected or will not be true to the smp but the inbetween and the other side gave me massive vibes of exile arc

the inbetween was like someone trying to make a person to stay, making them believe they are a friend, don't be fooled with visions or hallucinations, they aren't real, it manipulates you with kind words, with a fancy comfortable place to stay, it can make you forget about your friends almost as if it wants you to forget and purposely does erase the memories, then it turns out they would probably just break that person in the end, the inbetween turns someone to a person they would not want to be when they are with the inbetween

while the other side was someone who warns that person to not succumb to the fake comfort the inbetween keeps, almost as if it knows well what the inbetween does, almost as if it was someone who fell by the hands of the inbetween before or atleast has witnessed what it could do to a someone, it warns, it saves, it fights, it's dark, it's scary, it's lost its color but it still stands, the other side is like a reflection of the inbetween that didn't succeed to cut its ties with the inbetween and thus stay as a non-resembling reflection that just settled with rescuing other victims and comforts them under its wings because it knows, it understands, the other side has been there

the inbetween says it is 'like a home away from home' but the other side says 'you're home now', that's massive exile arc vibes right there ;monkaS;

Now a headcanon almost as if an au could be written (but i couldn't because i am not good with fiction writing and i have univ ;sadge; and my writing is awful), but i saw few that believes tommy might not have a happy ending and that him and dream's fiasco of never-ending war against each other as dream obsess himself with tommy and even wanting him and tommy to be immortal together. It fits, they didn't die but they weren't immortal, dream had been half successful to keep tommy's strings but tommy still fights, but he cannot fight to free himself anymore, thus he frees others as a found purpose. Their souls had formed itself castles or dimensions that houses either deceit, the inbetween or comfort, the other side.

Home for me, in dsmp sense, would be something i connect with tommy, he seems to not find his way back home so he rather made himself the home, providing everyone the safe place he cannot have himself before and fights with them the strings of dream.

And like, idk if you guys remember, dream posted on twitter a picture of a minecraft build that resembles the inbetween but is not the inbetween and captioned 'society if tommy remained in exile' as if it is what made of tommy if he completely succumbed himself to the deceitful comfort of a white castle build. (that tweet is more likely a coincidence but hey, this my headcanon)

ranboo on the other hand is obviously half-half, as if he's half inbetween-half other side and he is also very much connected to both tommy and dream. His actions and decisions are influenced by both tommy and dream and he is the most conflicted. Notice how ran, the enderman, the black half, appeared the day the other side was introduced. I wonder if there is gonna be a 'boo' that'll appear in tales one day, a white creature yeah? hmmm.

And what if it was just called the enderwalk but it isn't actually connected to the enderman half of ranboo? what if it's the white half? like how a few theorizes tommy was also under the ender walk state because he would be waking up in the ocean during exile, when he was under dream's control? remember how seemingly the karls stuck in the inbetween are just mindlessly walking, almost as if like they are enderwalking? yeah?

but like idk man maybe this is just me desperate for the dsmp characters to connect their storylines and lore, they said probably in the future yeah, but urggghhh i am brainrotting again. but if you read this whole thing, thank you for sparing your time reading my long post. you are awesome:)

But I would say yes. There are 4 (5?) Games. The first one is the OG and is about best friends reuniting and trying to find someone else and figure out another mystery. This one can be cheesy with some dialouge (get ready for a lot of 'Hella' if I recall right)

There is a prequel to this one where you play as the other friend after her dad died and I think there is another mystery I only played it once on my shitty laptop years ago so I can't remember

LiS 2 is about brothers and this one does have some racism in it as in the brothers are half Mexican so you can guess what sometimes occurs to them. That's a warning.

And lis true colors i just played. You are a young woman just out of foster care being back with her brother but then her brother dies and she knows there is more to it.

All games you can be in a same sex relationship or not (bis for the win. Tho I forget if you can romance a dude in the first 1. Before the strom I think its just Lesbian but its gay, its queen you can be queer)

I've played it on my PC, ps4, and switch. I would suggest what ever is easier for you. Idk if all are on switch I only played true colors on it but I think they are all on steam and the PS system. I don't really know they could be a little high

But the makers of LiS have another stand alone called 'Tell Me Why about twins in Alaska and one is trans and again, you can be gay. Its free for June rn on steam so you can nab that at least. It has nothing to do with the other games but it's from the same people
