lmao remember when i said he's just a Guy to me

it wasn't technically a lie, i think being granted godhood would alter his appearance so he's... well he's still a Guy with additional stuff going on

champion and god boots morph to fit the person wearing them, so for acg it was weird mugs and evbo gets sneakers with his name on the soles because i think he'd enjoy jumping down onto a grass block and then seeing his name imprinted onto it

the higher you climb the more customised your stuff becomes, this applies to clothing as well (there's text that says "360" printed on the back of his hoodie, it became that way once he reached the master level)

in my head i think only the parkour champion and god would have somewhat functional wings, idk about everyone else but i'm leaning towards little vestigial ones only if any (looking directly at emf)

is the headband a permanent fixture on evbo now?

he's a godly entity, he's not supposed to make sense

either way, it can shrink back to looking like a normal headband if he wants, he can have a malleable form as a treat

Possibly got it trimmed, still doing a routine but not as much as he used to, his hair is definitely softer than pre s3 from not using as much product but he def keeps a bunch on hand for bad hair days (his mom still doesn't know where the farrah fawcett spray went, she doesn't care either because she simply has not been home). Definitely keeps it this way because he knows if his parents were home then they'd make it go back to s1 Lego man hair

Prob not gonna post for a bit. Might be going on a hiatus. Feel like its a waste of time to post my work on here, in other woc/living machine servers outside of my friendgroups too. Either it being rampant favoritism or something else. This is destroying my mental health. I gotta worry about actually getting my life straight. I can go into more details under the cut! This got way longer!

I will no longer be posting my works to Tumblr anymore, for a good while. Untill I feel ready to come back and start posting my works again. If I ever do have a social media presence again for artwork, it will either be on Furaffinity(I'll have more freedom to post stuff with blood given its tagged properly. I am part of that community anyway.) or Bluesky. Do appreciate the support I've gotten over the years, but the woc and especially living machine fandom is actually terrible for artists and a lot of people here do not get the credit they rightfully deserve for their work, me included. You either become a established artist or draw someone's OC who's been in the space for awhile, or nobody cares about the work you put forth. Putting in so many hours into something and not getting a good return for it genuinely can make artists quit what they do because its hella discouraging. Especially in my case where I was surrounded by people with similar skill level and they got way more attention than I did. Made me realize this revalation here when I asked around and other people felt the same way as me. Y'all really need to support less popular artists here. This happened to me twice, in a WOC server, and a server for living machine. They only want to see the artists they know and care about and want nobody else in their circle. Kinda sad. Smaller means the toxicity is more apparent, and boy is there quite a handful of people that angered me in the LM space. Its basically one big friendgroup because of how closed off/small it is, you try to join and you're ostracized. So you as a stranger, get looked down upon and casted aside easily. Doesn't matter how good you are. Thought branching out was gonna be good for me, it was the opposite. Hope me editing this clears up the reason why my Tumblr might go on a hiatus from now on in terms of art. I might check in now and again to scroll my tl, reblog stuff. But none of my works will be posted on this site anymore or in other woc/living machine discords beyond my friendgroups, atleast for a good while. Hope you understand. This could've gotten a lot nastier but I held back.

Let us ignore for a moment the fact that comparision to a Vala (or to Orome by name) is a huge compliment by itself. But. This is the same description that Fingolfin gets in his death scene. And Fingolfin is insanely powerful first age king of the Eldar. So, basically, Theoden gets complimented by comparision to Fingolfin, but not directly, but by getting the same poetic description.

Does this literary device have a name?

I don't mean things like Elrond-Luthien parallel description because they look similar, because he is her great-grandson. I mean things that are more behavioral or psychological than just physical looks. (Yes, in the Legendarious "shining eyes" is a psychological trait).

Ah yeah, there's a Human AU, it's almost the same as their normal lore, but just humans (so I have more freedom when it comes to character design). I showed a little bit of it with these designs for Charlie and Echo, but I didn't elaborate on it.

Anyways, on the Echo to Luchs timeline:

I guess she would come from very strict households with high expectations for her (y'know, have excellent grades, enroll into a prestigious college, have a successful career and be a good wife to your husband); which has messed up Echo, who tends to take other's opinions on her more personally (and I guess already had a rocky relationship with her family to begin with). She has been unemployed for quite a while and needs to make end's meet, so she joins this shit-ass company where she meets Charlie, and the later just starts hanging out with this shy loner until they become friends.

Echo would the the typical shy woman that doesn't want attention drawn towards her, so she's very soft spoken and tries her best to not stand out from the others. She wishes she could present in a more masc way, but fears confrontation and rejection from others. One of the consolations she gets is that sometimes her crush brushes and plays with her hair tho. That's very good.

Once they get separated Echo kinda gets in a existential dilemma on what to do with herself since she's in a unknown location and she can't depend on Charlie anymore. At some point she has a emotional breakdown over grieving Charlie and various previous self-stem issues ("this is my fault, all of this could have been avoided if I weren't a coward, etc") and impulsively cuts her hair. She feels very bad about it afterwards, not because of the bad haircut, but in a "oh no! I've gone against other's preexisting perception on me! they will hate me now!!" kind of way.

With time she gets to know other with similar ideas to hers so she finally feels understood. As she gets more confident (and realizes the norms she was taught to abide by are full of bullshit), she starts to loosen up on the role she has set to herself (your everyday woman that despite working out, is still very feminine and never whines or talks back). Also, she gets better at expressing her emotions and establishing boundaries, expressing discomfort or when she needs time for herself, which also makes social interactions easier for her and others.

So yeah, similarly to the main setting she just goes "Ah fuck it! Judgmental people can eat shit", cuts contact with her family, and embraces dressing and acting however she wants. After all, it's just clothes and hair, it's not like others will spontaneously combust if they see a woman that's kinda masculine.

OH ALSO! BODY MODS!!

She enjoys the tattooing process in a therapeutic way. After being criticized for so long over her being sensitive, she learned how to internalize her emotions. However, this also means that it is very difficult for her to cry, even when she wants to (holding back tears became an automatic reflex, for better and worse). She has a relatively high tolerance, but still. In her mind, the pain from getting a tattoo gives her "permission" to let out tears and emotions she didn't even know she had been holding on until she's done and suddenly feels relieved. There's also the fact that she's close to Irene, her tattoo artist and best friend, who lets her cry to her heart's content or just vent without judging. Currently she has two piercings on her right ear and the shoulder tattoo, but she plans to turn it into a sleeve by adding something new to the design every few weeks; maybe also get snake bites, but she's still thinking about that.
