some stories are written precisely to elicit strong emotions from the reader INCLUDING negative ones. some stories and characters are meant to be upsetting, they are meant to challenge you and make you uncomfortable!! when a story makes you feel Big Feelings sometimes you are meant to sit in those feelings and ask yourself why! fiction is a great space to explore these emotions in a safe environment. you, as the reader, are meant to think critically about the art you are enjoying and that includes asking yourself questions like why has the author presented their art in this way and what are they trying to tell me. and then you get to have fun picking it apart and figuring it out and deciding what, exactly, the art means to you.

Genuinely couldnt tell you which order is what, i'm guessing the very first one is his first form since it's most similar to his G1 look

Second one we're shown is likely after the war! He chose a different alt mode maybe, and is most similar to the shape we see him in now. He has a broad chest and more narrow waist compared to the first image. Veryyy round, too, like cute protoform chub 💛💛

then there's the final one of course! after the new seasons. i kinda wish the show continued to drip feed more about Cybertron and the war after season 1. they kinda did, but not like before :( would have loooved to know why Bumbles had to change his alt mode (for the second time?) and pretend to be dead for a, as far as I know, a long undisclosed amount of time
