Saw this drawing of Emo!Luka (or however you guys call his dark version idk what's going on in this fandom half the time) with the cat miraculous and he looked so fucking good man and my mind was like 'This!!! Is how Adrien!!! Should look!!! Why is his design so shitty when Luka looks so good????' then has a fucking revelation because what if that's the point??????

Like, Adrien, our Adrien, the normal one or whatever we call him now. He's a model, right? Is canon that he's good looking and stuff like that. Everyone loves the guy. I think. I don't watch the Miraculous, but I have a vague understanding of the plot- ANYWAY the point is that the Emo!Adrien is supposed to look bad. That's the point of his shitty design. If he's in a rebellious phrase then of course he'll want to look horrible so he couldn't do as his father wants and start modeling or whatever. The two are parallels of each other, it makes sense for Emo!Adrien to be 'ugly' in comparison with our Adrien. That's the point.

Is not shitty design. He's just meant to look like someone puked in his hair. Huh.
