Too Many Beds (Choi Seungcheol)
Reverse Trope Series Installement 1
Pairing - Choi Seungcheol x afab! Reader
Word Count- 13k (don't ask me how I thought I could do this in 2k)
Genre - Enemies to lovers? Frenemies to lovers? Lovers to lovers? Idk man, these two are idiots, that's all. Oh and smut.
Warnings - one mention of blood cause of intense make out wew, other smut warnings under the cut!
A/n - I'm trying to do a Reverse Trope one shot series for all seventeen members, first up Choi Seungcheol :) Next up is 'Accidentally Kidnapping A Mafia Boss' Ft. Yoon Jeonghan hehe send me an ask/message to be tagged in that! Or you can also drop a comment when I drop the teaser in a few days!
Smut warnings - oral (m and f receiving), fingering, brief face fucking, thick dick cheol lol, slight choking, allusions to a breeding kink, unprotected sex (these two are digustingly in love, extremely horny and highly irresponsible, please don't be like them), creampie, mention of the word slut like once, and I'm hoping that's all?
âAbsolutely not.â
âNo way in hell.â
Seungcheol glared at you as you narrowed your eyes at him.
âIâm not sharing a room with him.â
âI refuse to even breathe in her vicinity.â
âThen maybe I should do mankind a service by being around you more.â
âThe only way you can help mankind is by shutting your mouth.â Seungcheol leaned closer, his voice dropping. âYouâre not pretty enough for all the stupidity that comes out of it.â
You rolled your eyes. âRich coming from you. If I had a face like yours, Iâd sue my parents.â
âAw, fifth graders can insult better than you, sweetheart.â
âThat was a fact, darling.â
âAhâ The two of you turned to the receptionist, finally remembering her presence as her eyes flickered between you and Seungcheol. âSo, the two of you are dating?â
Looking at her incredulously and with unadulterated disgust, the two of you immediately took a step back.
âNo!â
âNo!â
âIâd rather stub my pinky toe on furniture everyday than date her-â
âAnd Iâd rather choke on my own spit everyday than date him-â
âOh baby, I knew you were a desperate one. I can give you something better to choke on-â
âHoney, are you sure? I heard you can stack fruit loops on that skinny thing-â
âEnough!â The old woman behind the counter got to her feet, putting her hands on her hips, the never-ending squabbling finally getting to her. âIf either of you say another word, I will personally put you both in the tiniest broom closet I can find and trust me, the ones in this lodge are devastatingly small.â
You immediately shut up, dreading that idea more than anything. Seungcheol too became uncharacteristically and thankfully, quiet.
âNow, as far as your room is concerned, your company booked only one room, number-â She glanced at the paper in her hand and pulled out a pair of keys from the drawer. â- 68. If you can bear each other for 4 nights, well and good, get moving. If not, then take your things and get out of here. Good luck finding another lodge in this miserable weather.â
And as though on cue, a bright light, followed by a loud thunder flooded the room, taking all three of its inhabitants aback.
From the corner of your eye, you saw Seungcheol visibly gulp, well aware of his fear of thunder. Seungcheol too heard the way you sniffled, knowing that your rhinitis would only get worse with the humidity rising outside.
Sighing with the realization that there was no way out of this, both of you reached for the keys at the same time, making the old woman snatch it faster than the damn lightning to avoid yet another fight from breaking out. Ringing for the bellboy, she handed him the keys before he took your suitcase and Seungcheolâs bag in each hand, leading the way to your despair of the night.
Seungcheol followed quietly behind you, hands tucked in his pocket, his large headphones perched on his head as he swayed to the music, blatantly ignoring you. You were thankful for that. Since you were little children, you had always craved moments where you could pretend like this man didnât exist. Why wouldnât you? Everything about him was a pain in your ass.
You first met Seungcheol when you were five. Your fathers were college mates turned business partners and coincidentally, your mothers were best friends since high school. Naturally, everyone expected the children of both families to be just as close as their parents but alas, even at the age of five, you could not bear him for more than five minutes. He was so aggressive and unruly, always messing up your dolls, always pulling your hair, never giving you a second of peace when he was around. Albeit that behaviour got milder over the years but there were other things now.
Like the fact that your father always preferred to have a boy, a son who could be his heir, someone like Seungcheol. It wasnât like he didnât love you but a different side of him came out every time Seungcheol was around, a side not even you could bring out. He would laugh louder, his eyes would shine more, he would seem so carefree. Seungcheol too never missed the chance to rub that on your face, constantly sneering and claiming that your father would be happier if he was a part of the family.
Over the years, your displeasure and annoyance at Seungcheol only grew into a deep dislike. As though it wasnât enough that the two of you did your entire schooling together (yes, all twelve years of it), he was always present anywhere and everywhere you went - the debate club, the swim team, the dance academy, the cafes, the libraries, the movies - there was no place you were free of him. Ever since you were young, you had longed to escape to a place far away from home just to be carefree and explore and reinvent yourself without the constant looming of a figment of your past. You had hoped that at least after school youâd have the chance to go away from him but as your luck would have it, the two of you were accepted into the same business school, were interning in the same company, were working on the same project, and had come out of town for the same three-day conference together. It was one thing to have to bear this manâs presence all day, now you had to do it all night as well, thanks to your cheapskate company.
As you got in the lift Seungcheol held the doors open for you before settling in the corner opposite yours, keeping as much distance in between as possible. The bell boy looked at both of you confused.
âI thought the two of you are dating?â
You groaned, rolling your eyes, and fished out your phone, scrolling through it instead.
Seungcheol glanced at you before scoffing at the absurd idea of dating you. He wasnât foreign to that doubt though â people often wondered if they were together and Seungcheol wondered what on earth they saw between them that even resembled a speck of liking or even tolerance for one another.
Seungcheol had honestly not met anyone as stuck up as you. He never understood why his parents constantly considered you as the ideal role model for their son - âLook Cheol, she joined debate, you should tooâ, âShe got selected in the swim team, you should try Cheol.â, âWhat do you think about dancing Cheol? Sheâs really good at it.â. Seungcheol was sick of being dragged into everything you were in, only to always be second. He hated debates, he would rather play football than swim, and though he liked to dance, ever since he joined the academy with you, even dancing was not giving him any solace.
Yet he gave his best all the time. He tried and tried and tried but he was always second to you who was evidently a natural at everything. For example, back in the school days, Seungcheol would almost get the same grades as you but at the cost of sacrificing nights of sleep and putting hours and hours into teaching himself. Meanwhile, you would breeze through the notes a day before the test, get a full 8-hour sleep and still score higher than him. As if that wasnât enough, youâd invite him home, offering to âtutorâ him only to constantly berate him about his ignorance, drop snide comments about how you were better, subtly challenge him in a battle that the both of you were well aware he could not win.
No wonder you had no friends while Seungcheol was as popular as could be - who would even want to be friends with you when you were always so cold and condescending towards anything that moved or breathed. If your parents werenât joined at the hip, forcing Seungcheol to be a constant presence in your life, he wondered who would ever even talk to you? You should have been thankful for him, that he was the one human presence in your life who was always there despite it all, yet you treated him like he was beneath you. He had hoped that at least after graduating the two of you could part ways but the universe apparently loved playing cosmic jokes, putting the two of you together yet again, at the same workplace. And completely up in each otherâs space for the next few days as well.
It wasnât like the two of you hadnât ever shared a room before - whenever your parents would meet up at each otherâs house to drink and talk all night, the two of you had no choice but to crash in the same room, sharing the same bed even but thank God it was usually queen size, allowing the both of you to take two opposite ends, not even your breaths mingling. It had been years since that thoughâŠ..Seungcheol felt a bead of sweat trickle down his back. He had no idea how he was to spend tonight in this room. Or the next few ones.
Neither did you.
As all three of you stood before the door and the bellboy fumbled with the keys, you glanced at Seungcheol. He looked unbothered as one could be. Perhaps you were overthinking this whole thing. It was a matter of four nights, surely the two of you could at least try to be courteous right?
âWhat in the...?â
Seungcheolâs voice rang in the empty corridor and you leaned to see what had him so shocked. Your own jaw dropped in a strange mixture of surprise, confusion, and relief.
Room 68 was no average hotel room. It was as big as the entire lobby, 7 heavily pillowed and blanketed single beds aligned from one end to the other almost military barrack style, only small bedside tables putting space between them.
âRoom 68 is uh our bachelorette party suite.â The bellboy clarified. âFor, you know, those big groups of girls who are hell bent on partying all night together?â He looked away like he was recalling a horrifying memory. âSince itâs holiday season, the lodge is booked out, this was the only room we had left. Is... is it not good?â
Seungcheol looked at you and for the first time in nearly 25 years, the two of you could finally agree on something.
âNo.â You stepped in. âItâs perfect.â
It had been years since you had seen Seungcheol half-naked.
Well, you frequently saw him during swim practice in those tight speedo shorts of his, ass all plump and taut but you were not talking about that. You were referring to the sight before you right now, him with a towel wrapped loosely around his waist, his wet hair falling into his eyes as he searched for something in his bag frantically â most likely his aftershave. You knew he must have cleaned up given the conference was starting tomorrow and also that his cheeks were burning because you couldnât smell the subtle cinnamon spice aftershave that usually followed in his routine.
Seungcheol strangely felt a pair of eyes on him as he rummaged through his things and suddenly remembered he was not alone in the room. He quickly turned, looking for you, finding you curled up in your bed, writing in what he guessed was your journal, unbothered by his presence. You were wearing that cute nightgown with little tomatoes drawn all over it which Seungcheol found funny given how much you hated tomatoes with all your heart and soul. Realising he had been looking for too long, Seungcheol gulped, quickly grabbing the aftershave he finally found and rushed back into the bathroom.
You flinched as you heard the door of the bathroom slam shut, looking up from your journal. Shaking your head exasperated, you returned to your writing. Seungcheol always handled things around him roughly like he was just not built to be gentle - slamming doors hard, breaking at least one coffee mug a month, causing rips in most of his clothes when he would gym because he was so bigâŠ. And muscularâŠ. And builtâŠ..You bit the back of your pen thinking about how good he looked in his gym wear but if you were being honest, he looked best in a suit.
Heâs going to be wearing one tomorrow.
You snapped out of your thoughts realizing you were entering dangerous waters and turned your attention back to your writing. Seungcheol made that process slightly harder as he walked out, furiously rubbing his towel against the back of his head, dressed in a black t-shirt and grey sweats.
As he sat down on his bed, he looked at you sitting six beds across, all the way in the other end of the room, right by the window. The moment the two of you entered the room, he took bed 1, the one against the wall and you took bed 7, the one against the opposite wall, putting the maximum possible distance between the two of you. He let you use the bathroom first, not because he knew you preferred using it when it is dry but because he thought this was the best time for him to call his parents and wish them goodnightâŠ.. even though it was still 7:30.
He showered after you did but even now, despite being so far from you, he could still smell your bodywash, the fragrance of lilies, the mildest kind because strong fragrances irritated your sensitive nose. Throwing his towel on the chair he kicked his legs off the floor and lied on the bed, turning to the wall, hearing the faint annoyed click of a tongue. Seungcheol knew exactly what triggered it - you hated it when he tossed damp towels like that. But honestly, he couldn't care less right now, not when there were more important things to deal with tomorrow, not when he was so tired already.
You shut your journal, irritated by his behaviour remembering exactly why being in the same vicinity as this man infuriated you. Flipping the lights off and pulling the covers over your shivering body, you realigned your thoughts towards your goal - Tomorrowâs conference was crucial. You had to look your best and do your best so clocking in 8 hours of sleep was the priority, Choi Seungcheol's character development be damned.
But as you lied down turning towards the window, lightning flashed across the sky, a loud thunder following. You turned to see Seungcheol and his back was facing you, the outline of his figure moving up and down rhythmically like he was already in a deep sleep. Slightly relieved yet still unconvinced, you turned towards him before the sleep and tiredness took you away.
Seungcheol simply stared at the wall all night.
Seungcheol most definitely did not sleep all night.
You could tell by the fact that one, he was up without you waking him and two, he was not there in the room right now. That meant he was out for a run which in turn meant his face must have been all swollen which definitely meant he didnât get enough sleep. You did notice though that his bedding had shifted from bed 1 to bed 2 and guessed it was because of the coldness of the wall - Seungcheol had the habit of tossing and turning at night and there was nothing he hated more than his bare skin accidentally brushing the cold walls. Considering you were still five beds away from him, you ignored it as you went to wash up and prepare for the day.
When he saw the time on his watch as he finished his last lap, Seungcheol realised he was way behind schedule and that you probably were already at breakfast, sitting with a dozen snide remarks, waiting for him. True enough, as he quickly showered, dressed, and headed down to the buffet, you were there already, going through the proposal, the plate beside you nearly empty. Quickly grabbing a piece of toast and stuffing it in his mouth he walked over, putting on his suit jacket in a hurry. As you saw him approach, you shut your laptop, looking at him top to down in an ensemble that fit him all too well. Seungcheolâs eyes wandered over the pretty way you did your hair, and the plunging neckline of your blouse, a sliver of your pink bra peeking from underneath the fabric-
Both of you cleared your throats and looked away.
âWe should leave, the cab should be here in-â He glanced at his watch. â-should have been here ten minutes ago, fuck.â
âItâll be here in ten.â You pushed a cup of coffee towards him, looking at him pointedly to take a seat. Seungcheol glanced at it then back at you.
âYou changed the time on my watch.â He huffed annoyed. âAgain.â
âGlad to know you are still capable of basic comprehension.â
âYou vile woman.â Seungcheol gritted between his teeth, sitting down. âI showered so fast I thought I was going to pass out.â
âBut you didnât.â You shrugged. âAnd learn to be grateful Seungcheol, youâre only ever on time when I meddle, so say thanks to me.â
âIâd rather die before I thank you.â He took a sip of the coffee before the extreme bitterness hit his tongue, making him spit it out right back into the cup. âAre you trying to kill me?â
âYou did say youâd rather die.â
âFuck you.â
âI know ten minutes is more than enough for you but personally, I prefer longer.â
Every single time. Every single time you flashed him that sweet, mocking smile and every single time it pushed his buttons like no other. One day he swore to put you in your place but right now he was too low on energy for that.
Well aware that you loved strawberries more than anything, he grabbed the last one on your plate and walked off to the taxi stand, ignoring the way you whined behind him.
âOh, real mature of you Choi Seungcheol!â
You knew in your stress about perfecting the proposal early in the morning you had forgotten something important and the moment you stepped into the room that night, you knew exactly what that was.
To close the windows.
Thanks to the pouring rain, the water had drenched your entire bed, not to forget, your bag full of your clothes which was conveniently placed right on the mattress, soaking nearly every piece of clothing you owned. Thank God the laundry in the lodge said they would handle it for you so you still had an outfit for tomorrowâs conference but there were still two major concerns - one, what to wear tonight and two, where to sleep tonight.
You solved the first problem (almost) by grabbing your umbrella and heading to the nearest clothing store as instructed by the receptionist only to find out it sold barely any âclothâ at all. It was an adult shop, filled majorly with lingerie of all kinds which were aiming to cover as little as possible. Groaning inwardly, knowing you didnât have a phone on you to go any further in this weather, you grabbed the most decent nightgown you could find and rushed back.
A hot shower, a change of clothes and a quick meal later you decided to deal with your second problem, moving your things from bed 7 to 6, not too displeased considering there were still three beds between the two of you. You glanced at Seungcheolâs empty bed and then at the time - it was well past 10. Sighing, you settled under the covers pulling out your journal to write but got lost in your thoughts instead.
You were pretty proud of what you presented today - people praised you, congratulated you for a well drafted proposal and even went so far as to offer you jobs in their company. Yet you were not satisfied. Somehow, the one thing constantly running in your mind was the swarm of women who had flocked around Seungcheol the moment the conference was done, âmindlesslyâ touching his arms, âcasuallyâ brushing their chests against his, âgenuinelyâ laughing too hard at whatever bullshit came out of his mouth.
This was not new to you, Choi Seungcheol being the centre of attention wherever he went. He enjoyed it, basked in it, and chose to make a show of it whenever he got a chance. It was all so fake and superficial; you could not bear to stand it. Thatâs why even though everyone decided to go out for dinner and drinks tonight, yes, all twenty-seven of them, you politely said goodbye citing a headache and took a cab back. You were not interested in casual conversation and definitely not interested in seeing Seungcheolâs pathetic flirting.
Just as you begin to relish his absence and the beautiful silence that came with it, a loud knocking on the door and his voice screaming your name ended your perfect night. Grumbling, you opened the door to a fully drenched Seungcheol looking absolutely frazzled.
âWhat the hell-â
He stopped when his eyes fell on you dressed in a white floor length satin gown, the material seductively clinging to the curves of your body, your leg slightly visible between the slit. You crossed your arms to cover yourself up, feeling conscious under his gaze as he gulped audibly.
âWhat the hell were you thinking?â He met your eyes, a slight worry flashing behind the anger. âYou just disappeared without letting me know-â
âI told you I was leaving.â You walked into the room rolling your eyes. âMaybe if you could see something beyond all that pathetic fangirling youâd have heard.â
âFangirling?â He looked genuinely confused, following you in as he stripped off his jacket. You tried your best to not stare at the way his pecs were so perfectly outlined under the wet shirt sticking to his body but Seungcheol caught you peering, his features lighting up with amusement.
âWould you look at that?â He smirked. âSomeone is jealous.â
âPlease.â You scoffed. âI wouldnât be jealous even if we were the last people on Earth.â
âObviously, if we were the last people, who would you even be jealous of?â
You sighed. âYou know what I mean.â
âI actually don't, sweetheart. If a little action is all you want, you can just ask for it you know?â
âFunny coming from a guy who kissed me just because another man was talking to me.â
The first tea break of the conference had led to an introduction that was surprising to you considering people did not really tend to approach you on their own. It was even more shocking that this man chose to speak to you in the lunch break as well, completely unprompted. He was sweet, not egging you too much with conversation, simply limiting it to work and the conference and then Choi Seungcheol appeared out of nowhere, snaking an arm around your waist, uninvited. Before you could glare at him and send him away, he planted a soft kiss on your cheek, excused himself and led you away from there, only to abandon you the very next second without an explanation.
âYou call that a kiss?â Seungcheol scoffed. âYou were so swept off your feet, you were this close to spilling details on our quotation for the project. That was actually me shutting you up.â
âOh yeah?â You raised an eyebrow. âIf you really wanted to shut me up, then you should have kissed me on the mouth.â
Seungcheol stared at you wordlessly.
As you began to walk away, he pulled you by the elbow, putting you against the wall, trapping you between his hands on either side.
âIs that how?â He leaned closer, the scent of his cologne taking over your senses. âBecause there is nothing Iâd love to do more than shut you up.â He cocked his head with a small smile. âAnd maybe also show you what a kiss really is.â
You tried not to gulp the phantom lump in your throat, cheeks suddenly hot under his gaze. Somehow, as though it had a mind of its own, your hand traced his exposed collar bone, trailing down his chest slowly, eyes following. Seungcheol held his breath under your touch. You stopped your tracks at his hard pecs, right above his heart beating just as fast as yours and looked up at him.
And then twisted his nipple.
Shrieking in pain, Seungcheol stumbled back, clutching his chest.
âWhat the hell mate?â
You walked towards your bed, grabbing your matching satin night robe and slipping it on. âIt's ridiculous that you even think you of all people could show me a real kiss.â
âYou forget sweetheart, I was your first one.â
You turned to Seungcheol as he brought up a memory you had actually done a great job forgetting. It was during your senior year - your parents had forced you to accompany Seungcheol to a house party so you could âget more involved in the social sceneâ instead of holing yourself up in your room all the time. It was a classic game of truth or dare and the worst dare of your life - to kiss Seungcheol for a minute.
Now the last thing you wanted to hear was him teasing you every day about how you were too scared to kiss him so you held him by the collar and pulled yourself into his lap straddling him, your mouth meeting his in a frenzy. If you were being honest, something about that kiss served as your sexual awakening - maybe it was the way he moaned into your mouth, or his hands gripped your ass, or hands entangled in his soft hair or your chest pressed up against his. Whatever it was, there was a video of it that your classmates took circulating somewhere out there, timed around five and a half minutes as opposed to the one minute it was supposed to be.
âDonât take too much pride in yourself Cheol.â You sat on the bed, leaning back on your hands planted in the mattress. âOnly I know how many other guys I had to kiss after that to know what kissing truly is.â
Seungcheol felt his jaw tighten.
Something in you had changed in junior year. Yes, you were still the same antisocial, inhospitable, unapproachable person you always were but somehow every other day, he found you in a new location with a new guy's tongue shoved down your throat. They were not boyfriends, Seungcheol knew that much, and it was the fact that they weren't that made his blood boil with anger.
âYou shouldnât take pride in yourself either sweetheart.â He looked at you with a strange mixture of anger and pity. âThere's nothing to feel accomplished about not forming a single real bond in your life.â
The moment the words left his mouth Seungcheol regretted it, knowing he had hit a soft spot. It was too late now; the damage was done - pain was flashing in your eyes.
You looked at the insensitive man before you and laughed at him sadly, mirroring his hurtful words.
âNo real bond? Iâm afraid you filled that void Seungcheol. Hate forms really strong bonds too.â
And with that you turned away from him, tucking yourself under the sheets, turning off the lights on your side of the room. Grabbing his towel and a change of clothes, Seungcheol locked himself up in the bathroom, your words piercing his heart like no other. Over the years yes, the two of you argued and fought and annoyed each other and couldnât stand one another but hate? He didnât ever think thatâs what you felt for him. Perhaps he deserved it - he had after all crossed a line with that comment.
He knew you had always struggled around people. He knew that even though you detested taking his help for anything, in every social setting, you would always choose to hide behind him. It wasnât that you didnât want to interact, you just couldnât. You were a sick child since birth, constantly brought down by various illnesses that often confined you to your room - you didnât go out to play with the other children, you didnât join the kids on their trips to the ice cream shop, you didnât go late night camping with your classmates, you didnât do a lot of what kids your age did.
And when you were old enough, when you were healthy enough to step out into the world, you didnât know how to anymore. Hence you continued to stay in your own shell, closing yourself off from everyone, wary of any and all interactions. Seungcheol knew all this, thatâs why when he couldn't lay his eyes on you in the crowd of the conference, the panic he felt was like no other. He never thought he would ever feel his heart stop but Seungcheol felt it twice today - once when he lost you and the other when you said that. Iâm afraid you filled that void Seungcheol. Hate forms really strong bonds too.
You stared out of the window, mildly annoyed by all the light falling in your face, Seungcheolâs words ringing in your ears. It might have sounded harsh but he was right. You never formed real bonds with anyone, you could never bring yourself to. Having spent years all by yourself, you didnât know what it was like to let another person into a space that was entirely yours. Thatâs why, though you engaged in all sorts of flings and hookups, you never let it go beyond that - you never let yourself lose your heart to someone, walking away from them before they could walk away from you.
In that sense, Seungcheol was indeed the realest bond you had - just a constantly present, mildly irritating, oddly comforting white noise in your life. It was easy with him - you never had to think in his presence, you never had to wonder whether anything would drive him away, never had to worry about keeping him by your side unconditionally - he was always there. Somehow what you felt for Seungcheol was liberating in a way you hadnât even realized. Hate could hardly define that; you were unnecessarily harsh earlier.
Seungcheol stepped out of the bathroom, eyes falling on your unmoving figure which he just realized was on bed 6 instead of 7. Noticing the damp sheets and piecing it together, he didnât think too much of it as he switched off the lights and crawled into his bed.
Hearing the sounds of him shuffling, you turned towards him.
âAre you not going for the dinner?â
âItâs too late now. I would have eaten there if I didnât have to run back here to check up on you.â
âYou could have just called me.â
âI did.â He turned to you, looking at just your silhouette in the darkness. âA few hundred times.â
You checked your phone immediately and it wasnât a hundred times but there were some fifty odd calls from him and two dozen messages.
âI put my phone on silent during the conference and forgot to take it off.â You mumbled, just a little guilty that he was missing out on a gathering because of you. âDid you at least eat?â
âIâm not hungry, thanks to all the Americanos you kept feeding me all day.â
âIf not for that, you would have been snoring in the conference barely an hour after it began.â You turned to lie on your back, facing the ceiling. âAnd I wouldnât have had to do that if youâd just obediently drank that double shot espresso in the morning.â
Seungcheol remembered you sliding the coffee cup to him and smiled to himself in the dark.
âThen maybe you should also listen to me and stop munching on those strawberries every chance you get, especially when you know they flare your allergies.â
You remembered Seungcheol gobbling up the last berry and smiled to yourself in the dark.
âGoodnight, you obnoxious prick.â
âGoodnight, you insufferable fiend."
When you woke up in the morning, two things had changed - one, Seungcheol had moved from bed 2 to bed 3 in the middle of the night and two, his shirt was gone, discarded somewhere in the mess on the floor. He was lying sprawled on his bare stomach, his back covered in a thin sheet of sweat, his tattoo shining as the light hit it. Ignoring the sight before you with much difficulty, you shook him awake.
âGet up Cheol, weâre going to be late.â
He groaned, rolling over, eyes slowly blinking open, falling on you first thing in the morning. Even though you were dressed in the sultriest thing he had ever seen on you, Seungcheol controlled himself and tore his eyes away.
âThe radiator is right across the other bed; I was literally burning all night.â He mumbled, stretching awake, justifying his move.
You turned towards it noticing how it was in fact between bed two and three, closer to three than two to be honest. Considering Seungcheol was still drenched in sweat, his move in the middle of the night was actually quite pointless, but you chose not to say anything about it. Quickly washing up, the two of you rushed for breakfast, skimming over the presentation notes one last time. Today, neither of you noticed but Seungcheol drank the coffee and you didnât eat the strawberries.
Day two went by in a flash much like day one. Only this time, you didnât talk to the gentleman from yesterday, choosing to sit quietly by Seungcheol in the break and he didnât leave your side either, regardless of all the ladies calling him to join them. In the evening, as the team headed to the cityâs best karaoke bar, inviting you and Seungcheol again, Seungcheol brushed them off claiming the two of you had a little more work to do on the proposal. To his surprise, you shot him down, agreeing to join everyone, looking at him with a small smile.
âDonât be such a killjoy darling.â
Seungcheol knew you were compensating for last night so he followed, well aware that you would most likely want to leave the moment the singing started. Well, he was almost right - you actually wanted to leave the moment you stepped foot into the room, turning to him with pleading eyes. Seungcheol turned you by your shoulder, laughing as he led you in.
âDonât be such a killjoy sweetheart.â
You sat patiently as the beers poured in and people around you fought for the photobooth props. Seungcheol was sitting right beside you, his thigh a comforting weight against yours, laughing with everyone. As the night progressed, you had downed a beer or two, a slight buzz taking over, not noticing the way Seungcheol had his arm around you now or that you were warmly cuddled against his torso. Soon, one by one, everyone settled on the couches, tired from all the screaming, resorting to chatter instead and deciding on an old-fashioned game of truth or dare. Seungcheol smirked at you and you turned his face away with a soft push.
âSo Seungcheol,â The man beside him spoke. âTruth or dare?â
âNeither actually. We should leave now.â He stood, pulling you up, stumbling slightly. âIâve had too much to drink and it's late, Y/n needs to sleep.â
âDidnât realize wacky wallflower here also had the bedtime of a toddler.â One of Seungcheolâs many fangirls piqued, jealousy stark on her face. âWe can book her a cab, why donât you stay a little longer, Cheolie?â
You raised an eyebrow, amused at the nickname, and at her jealousy but Seungcheol did not find anything about her words even remotely funny.
âNo thanks, I go where she goes.â
âI thought you guys werenât dating? Then why-â
âThat doesnât change what I said.â His voice dropped an octave. âI go where she goes.â
âCheol.â You placed a hand on his chest, sensing his anger rising. âItâs fine, letâs stay for a few rounds, yeah?â
Seungcheol looked at you frowning as you sat down, pulling him with you. The girl you already disliked but quite vehemently hate now, spun the bottle with a giggle.
âWe donât have to stay.â Seungcheol whispered as the guy beside you excitedly asked the one across him a question. âYou stayed long enough, you need sleep-â
âIâm fine.â
âIâm not.â He spoke between gritted teeth. âJust looking at that foul woman makes me mad. I already said I wasnât interested in her, she had no reason to be a bitch.â
âWell then donât you want to put the bitch in her place Cheol?â
You looked at him with big doe eyes which terrified Seungcheol even more. What on Earth were you up to?
âY/n, you get to ask Yuri!â
You looked at the bottle to see it pointing between you and your little conquest of the night. Hook.
âTruth or dare?â Line.
âDare.â And Sinker.
âOkay Yuri, then I dare you to not take your eyes off.â
You pulled Seungcheol by the collar, smashing your lips on his, swallowing his audible moan. His hands immediately found your waist, pulling you closer, up against his body, teeth roughly tugging your lower lip. Hand sliding up his neck and across his jaw, you entangled your fingers in his hair, drawing him even closer denying even air the right to come between the two of you. Yes, it was all a show for Yuri or whatever her name was, but at a point, she stomped her foot and got up, running out of the room. Perhaps the two of you should have stopped then or at least when you were running out of breath. But you only broke apart when someone dropped a beer bottle, smashing the glass loudly on the floor. Seungcheol and you looked at it, faces flushed, lips swollen. A low whistle echoed in the room.
âWe-â Seungcheol cleared his throat, trying to get his voice back. âWe should get going.â
âY-yeah.â You agreed, getting up and grabbing your things as Seungcheol smoothened his hair with his hand, muttering a small goodbye to everyone. As the two of you stepped out of the room, you found Yuri crying at the entrance, her friend trying her best to console her. Not sparing her another glance, you walked away, Seungcheol following you close behind. As the cold air hit you when you reached the taxi stand, you felt a painful sting on your lower lip, making you hiss. Hand cupping your face, Seungcheol wiped the trickle of blood with his thumb.
âGuess you desperately did need a real kiss huh?â
âShut up.â You smacked his hand away. âI had to help the poor girl get over her pathetic taste in men.â
âBy getting a taste of me?â Seungcheol smirked as you rolled your eyes. Before you could say anything, his stomach let out a loud growl making you laugh and look around, spotting a burger joint.
âLetâs get you a taste of that big boy.â
âSometimes I wonder-â You stared out of the window at the large clouds rolling in. â-considering our parents are best friends and we are not, do you think our children would be good friends or enemies?â
âWow, children.â Seungcheol munched on his burger furiously. âI never thought that far.â
âThen think about it now.â
âI donât know.â He hummed. He hated thinking when he was tipsy. âSiblings tend to have a love-hate relationship.â
âI was talking about our children Seungcheol.â
âSo was I.â
âNo, I mean, my own children and your own children.â
âYeah, same thing.â
You looked at him exasperatedly.
âLetâs be honest here Y/n. Who else out there can put up with us for long enough to start a family?â
âWe can barely put up with each other-â
âBut we have, for almost 25 years.â He slurped on his drink. âThereâs a reason why you have never been in a relationship and I have never been in one that lasts. Because whatever it is we share, itâs you and I, till the end.â
âTill the end.â You muttered, reaching for his burger, taking a bite from it. Judging by your expression, Seungcheol could tell you liked his better, like you always do. Thatâs why he made sure to get it without the tomatoes he usually loved and settled to eat your meal instead. He was just about to ask why exactly you were so lost in thought when a loud thunder boomed across the sky sending a shiver running down Seungcheolâs spine.
Shoving the last of the burger down your throat quickly washing it down with some soda, you began gathering your things.
âWe should go before the rain starts.â
Seungcheol nodded, finishing up his meal as you threw the trash in the nearby can. As the two of you left, muttering your thank yous to the waitresses, you laced your fingers with Seungcheolâs, gripping him tight as another lightning flashed across the sky. Thank God it wasnât too hard to flag down a cab because the moment the two of you sat inside, rain began pouring like there was no tomorrow. As you glanced at the obscurity outside the window, Seungcheol stared at his hand, the one that you hadnât left in all this time.
There were times when he used to stay over in your room, unable to sleep due to all the thundering while you dozed away oblivious to his presence. Those days, youâd turn around, reaching for his hand, holding it in your sleep. Seungcheol now wondered if that might have been a conscious effort to comfort him.
Perhaps not he thought as you began to nonchalantly hum his favourite song. He wondered if you knew he loved that piece because of how beautiful you looked when you danced to it. He wondered if you knew that the reason he was always around you was to make sure you were alright. He wondered if you knew he always carried an extra inhaler for you, that he had written a long list of your allergies in order from âcan handleâ to âkeep away from at all timesâ, that he was constantly alert about everything you ate, smelt and touched. He wondered if you knew, deep down how much he cared about youâŠ..but sleep dragged him away before he could wonder anymore.
Sensing Seungcheol had fallen asleep, you stopped humming, turning to him, smiling at his half open mouth. Scooting closer, you slowly pulled his head to rest against your shoulder, and he groaned softly, nuzzling into it. The driver looked at the two of you through the rear-view mirror, making your cheeks go red as you looked away.
âIs your boyfriend afraid of thunderstorms?â
You nodded, ignoring the title. âSince he was a child. I donât think heâs been sleeping too well the last few days.â
âThe forecast shows itïżœïżœïżœs going to be worse today.â The driver sighed. âLook out for him.â
You nodded again. You did look out for him. In your own ways you always did - you always challenged him knowing that was what pushed him to do better. You always made sure to wake him up or at least meddle with his clocks so he was always on time. You always made sure he ate and slept enough, knowing how it threw him off whenever he was deprived of either. Even now you were humming his favourite song knowing it calmed him down. You wondered if Seungcheol knew, that deep down you really cared about himâŠ..perhaps more than anything.
When the taxi reached the lodge, you softly shook him awake after paying, dragging his sleepy self through the lobby. The receptionist's eyes followed the two of you, stumbling away hand in hand, mouth curling into a small smile as you disappeared. You only let his hand go when you reached the room and thatâs what jolted him awake.
The silence that descended the room today was different. It wasnât because the two of you were too tired to say anything to each other, rather neither of you knew what exactly to say given there was so much to. So instead, you resorted to washing up and filling in your journal for the day while Seungcheol worked on a few changes in the proposal for the final pitch tomorrow. Just as he shut the laptop and you shut your diary, the two of you looked at each other before quickly looking away, settling in your own beds, for the night.
You were almost ready to drift off to sleep, before the driverâs words rang in your mind - the forecast shows itâs going to be worse today. Without thinking much, you moved your things from bed 6 to bed 5, muttering that the light from the streetlamps was falling in your face there. Seungcheol did not point out that you could just close the curtains instead and curled up in his own bed, glad you were closer to him now.
He looked at you across the one bed that was in between and suddenly you felt too far, like the distance was too much.
You looked at him as his eyes fluttered shut, thunder rumbling across the sky, wondering if he could hear you across all this space, humming louder than usual, lulling the two of you to sleep.
When you woke up, Seungcheol was surprisingly awake and fully dressed, trying to knot his tie unsuccessfully in front of the mirror, expression focused with a small pout. Propping yourself up on your elbow, you stared at his reflection, eyes skimming over the beautiful features of his face which you never really consciously admired - his thick hair, thicker eyebrows, plump, pillowy lips, his jawline sharp and chiselled. He was indeed handsome, in a way you really likedâŠ.a lot.
You wondered why you always looked at him like he was the bane of your existence. Was it because it was easier to bury the unresolved tension under pointless banter? Or did you wantonly show him your worst side, hoping it wouldnât scare him away, hoping he would stay despite every flaw, every shortcoming. What did it mean if in 25 years, he didnât leave even once?
Seungcheol groaned, annoyed at his futile attempts, eyes finally meeting yours in the mirror. You slid off your bed, walking up to him as he turned to you. Yawning, you took his tie in your hands, tying it for him. Seungcheolâs eyes drifted over the features of your face as he held his breath.
He could get used to this, the sight of waking up to a sleepy you, your hair all over the place, your eyes slightly droopy, nose red. God you were so beautiful - he knew that, but why didnât he ever think about it? Why did he choose to fight every remote thought about you with irritating banter? Was he scared that the tension would remain unresolved? And what did it mean if you were still here, right by his side, helping him out in everything big and small, always making sure he was going the right way and doing the right thing, every single day for the last 25 years?
You pushed the knot up to his neck, smoothening the material, patting his chest with a proud smile. Seungcheol gulped as you walked away to wash up, trying to get his breath under control.
When the two of you came down for breakfast, you pointedly avoided the receptionist's gaze. There was no time to deal with more thoughts.
The rest of the day went like that, thoughtlessly. It was a little awkward at the conference considering the little show you two put up last night, so the moment it ended for good in the evening, you bid everyone goodbye, citing you had an early flight and had to leave soon. It was true though, you did have to travel in the wee hours of the morning, but leaving from the conference so soon also meant having to spend longer with Seungcheol, all alone. He agreed with you though, stating his social battery was at an all-time low and that he just wanted to go back.
Today the two of you were somehow sitting on two ends of the car backseat, bodies pressing against the door, in complete contrast to last night. It was a silent ride, a silent walk to the room and a silent session of packing up. Suddenly there were very conscious efforts to not brush hands, or accidentally walk into each other or catch the other person randomly staring, lost in thought. It was only when you were finally done that you asked Seungcheol if he wanted to order dinner. He agreed, leading to a very small and very efficient discussion about what dishes to eat and then silence descended upon the room again. While waiting for the food to arrive, Seungcheol muttered that he was going for a quick run, leaving you alone with the thoughts you could no longer stop from plaguing your mind.
Something had changed over the last 3 days. It wasnât you or Seungcheol - he was still throwing his damp towels on dry clothes and you were still meddling with his clocks. No, the two of you hadnât changed. Neither did the arguing, neither did the banter, neither did the subtle flirting, neither did the silent support. NoâŠ. nothing had changed. It was all the same. It was all the exact same except now, you were finally willing to acknowledge something you hadnât even admitted to yourself since the age of five, that-
âIâm in love with him.â You whispered, smiling to yourself.
Seungcheol on the other hand thought running around the lodge would mean those thoughts wouldnât run in his mind anymore. He was wrong - even though you were not there, like always you were on his mind, in his every thought, in his every breath. Seungcheol didnât know of a life without you. He also knew that you would be there with him for the rest of his life but for the first time in 25 years, he finally found himself owning up to it - that he truly wanted you be a part of his future, that he could not bear to think of one without you in it, that-
âIâm in love with her.â He whispered, smiling to himself.
By the time Seungcheol had returned, dinner had arrived. Between each bite you searched for the right words to say, noticing that Seungcheol was trying the same. Somehow, neither of you could bring yourself to say anything.
You couldnât peacefully finish up your journal and Seungcheol couldnât take a relaxing shower, both muttering under your breaths, practicing long speeches, determined to confess everything before sleeping tonight.
But when all was done for the night, both of you laid down on your respective beds, staring at the ceiling, unable to talk, unable to sleep.
Seungcheol turned his head as you did towards him, making his heart clench a little.
Sighing, he grabbed his pillow and put it on bed 4, lying down, facing you.
You looked at him blinking slowly.
Seungcheol held his breath.
Taking a deep breath, you grabbed your duvet and joined him on the fourth bed, throwing it over the two of you, lying down, facing him.
Seungcheol slid his hand over your waist, pulling you closer.
You gripped the material of his shirt, snuggling into the warmth of his neck.
Nothing was said that night.
Nothing had to be said as the two of you drifted off to sleep.
It was the harsh morning sun and the annoying chirping of the birds that woke you up.
You stared out of the window surprised at the bright light given the last few days were as gloomy as it could be. Seungcheolâs soft breaths tickled your shoulder as his arms held you tight, your back against his chest. Smiling you wiggled in his grip turning towards him, taking in how much more stunning he looked in the morning light-
Morning?
âCheol.â
He hummed softly.
âCheol!â
âWhat?â
âItâs bright outside.â
âThatâs how mornings are Y/n.â
âOh thank you for enlightening me.â You rolled your eyes. âMight I return the favour by reminding you that we had a flight at 5am?â
Seungcheolâs eyes flew open.
He quickly grabbed his phone from the nightstand, 11am flashing on the screen.
âFuck.â He muttered, running his hand through his hair. âFuck fuck fuck, I canât believe we missed the flight!â
You took the phone from him and scrolled through the app. âThe next flight out is tomorrow morning, same time, 5am.â
âBut the company hasnât paid for the room tonight, where will we stay?â Seungcheol groaned. âHow could you not wake me up?â
You frowned at him. âAnd why is it my job to?â
âBecause, you donât like it when I put alarms on my phone.â
âUh no, I donât like it when you continue to sleep through the dozen alarms you put on your phone.â
âWhatever your reasons are, I think its been established that you are the one who's supposed to wake us both up.â
âYeah well thanks to you I forgot to set an alarm.â
âThanks to me?â He looked at you bewildered. âWhat did I do?â
âWho asked you to..â You pointed at everything around with the wave of a hand, the two of you only just registering the situation you were in.
âYou were the one who came to my bed.â Seungcheol shrugged. âThis is on you because you were desperate.â
âSays the one whoâs boner poking into my back woke me up.â
Seungcheol gawked at you, stuttering. âM-morning wood is a scientific phenomenon, okay? I canât help it-â
âI could have.â You muttered, slipping out of the bed.
Seungcheol pulled you back under him, half hovering over you.
âOh yeah?â He bit his lower lip with a small smile. âHow exactly?â
You hummed, âI happen to know some good meditation techniques-â, running a finger down his abdomen, tracing a random design.
Seungcheol grabbed your hand and pinned it to the mattress by your face, leaning close.
âThink of a better way, baby.â
The nickname sent a delightful chill down your spine as you slightly squirmed under him, smiling.
âHow about I get you some ice-â
âThatâs not what I want right now.â
âThen what do you want right now?â
His eyes ran along the features of your face.
âI want to kiss you.â He whispered. âSo bad.â
âAnd what are you waiting for?â
Seungcheol groaned, immediately pressing his lips onto yours, needy and ravenous, like he had been waiting eons for this. Well, so had you.
Pushing him off you and onto his back, you straddled his hips, kissing him again, rolling your tongue over his. Seungcheol moaned into your mouth, one hand wrapping around your waist, the other holding you by the nape of your neck, taking back control. When you ran your hand over his thick pecs, he pulled away with a dreamy sigh, planting a trail of kisses along your jaw, down your throat.
âStrip for me.â
Sitting up immediately, you lifted your hips a little letting Seungcheol push the material of your nightdress up your thighs and you pulled it over your head, tossing it somewhere. In the ten seconds it took you to do that, Seungcheol was a changed man. The old him wanted to take his time unravelling you slowly, pushing you to the edge but the new Seungcheol felt the animal in him come alive with a throbbing, insatiable desire. It became exponentially worse when you pulled your hair up, tying it with the hair tie on your wrist, baring your neck, perfect breasts, soft stomachâŠ.unable to reign it in anymore, Seungcheol lunged forward, hungrily sucking a tit into his mouth, making you lose your balance over him a little, grabbing his bicep half laughing.
âHuh, I really thought you were more of an ass guy.â
Seungcheol let go with a wet pop, looking up at you from between his thick lashes. Oh wasnât that a sight.
âFor you, Iâm an everything guy.â His hands gripped your ass hard. âYour derriere does take the cake though.â
You laughed, âWho even uses that word?â
âI donât know, I have no idea what is coming out of my mouth right now.â He confessed, his tongue running up the gap between your boobs, the sweet and salty taste of your skin driving him insane. âI just know what I want in it.â
âYeah?â You sighed, threading your fingers through his hair, pulling him back with a harsh grip, before he latched onto your other tit. âI have better things to put in it.â
Seungcheol grinned like he couldnât wait, flashing his canines, biting his lower lip.
God he was going to be the end of you.
But youâll beat him to it.
Palms planted behind you, you slid yourself back off his thighs and sat between his legs, lifting your own up for him. Seungcheolâs eyes darkened in an instant and the moment he saw the wet spot in the middle of your pink panties, he could not hold himself back anymore. With a swift movement he was up on his knees before you, hooking his fingers in the elastic by your waist and slowly dragging your underwear along your legs. Like a man starving he crumpled it in his hand, breathing it deeply, eyes fluttering shut like he was intoxicated by your scent.
âIâm going to be borrowing this, for whenever youâre not there.â
âPervert.â You whispered as he tucked it in the back pocket of his tracks. âBut Iâm never not going to be there. Iâm afraid youâre stuck for life now.â
Seungcheol fisted the material at the back of his neck and pulled it over his head, flinging it somewhere before he put his hands between your knees and spread your legs apart, groaning at the sight before him. You were quite literally hiding his paradise between your legs.
âTrust me,â He reached for a pillow behind him, throwing it to you. âI want to be stuck here.â
The moment you tucked it under your head lying back, Seungcheol wasted no time in crawling between your legs, tossing them over his shoulder, descending on your sex. You felt your back arch off the mattress as he devoured, his tongue, mouth, lips all showing you stars in daytime.
âFuck Cheol.â You whimpered as his tongue slipped into your hole, his moan sending a wild vibration against it. Bringing your hands to his head, your fingers gripped his hair, pushing your hips up against him âGive me more.â
Seungcheol smirked, pressing your hips down, continuing his ministrations in a way that made your toes curl. Damn he knew what he was doing. For a split second you wondered how he knew so much and an ugly jealousy began coursing through you but it was lost almost immediately, when he began to suck on your clit.
âCheolâŠ.â You moaned, the sudden stimulation too intense for you, a tightness growing deep inside. âF-fuck thatâs good.â
Seungcheol knew he was good. Not because he was experienced, not exactly - more because he was desperate to taste every inch of you. If he thought the taste of your arousal was heavenly, the moment your legs trembled and your breaths got harsher and you came against his mouth, Seungcheol knew heâd cast aside the heavens for it. This wasnât enough.
This was probably the fastest orgasm you ever had, waves of the buzz washing over as your jaw fell slack. You rode it out against his mouth, tense shivers running down your body as his nose grazed your clit before falling limp into the softness of the bed, chest heaving.
Seungcheol was so noisily devoted to making you fall apart on his tongue, he wasn't sure if you didn't moan his name or if he was too entranced to hear it. Either way, he had to go again, keeping in mind to put his eyes on you this time. When he looked up at you, your face was flushed, lips curled into a blissful smile and Seungcheol thought he fell more in love with you, if that was even possible.
âWe're gonna have to talk about why you're so good at that.â You half laughed, trying to sit up. Seungcheol pushed you back down, throwing another pillow at you, humming.
âHow good was I exactly?â
âNice try big boy,â You stacked the pillow over the previous one, leaning back against it. âI'm not going to feed your ego.â
âI'll feed myself then.â He smirked before licking a long strip between your folds making you tremble with over stimulation.
âCheol not yet-â
âIf I don't hear you I'm not going to stop.â
And he descended upon you like a mad man again, making you gasp in surprise. You did not think he'd go through with it.
âCheol I really can't-â
but Seungcheol did not stop.
When he didnât listen, you reached to pull him off you but Seungcheol was quicker as he grabbed both your wrists in a flash and held them against your heaving chest, continuing to eat the life out of you.
âSeungcheol please.â You couldnât even squirm if you tried to, held down hard by his brute strength. âI really canât-â
He looked up, his mouth wet with his spit and your arousal as he licked his lips. Fuck you really loved this man.
âDo you actually want me to stop?â
He was taunting you but there's a slight concern laced in his voice.
You shook your head slowly.
âI thought so.â He chuckled before continuing his act of wolfing down on you.
Your second orgasm began to rush in with an unreal speed and you don't know how Seungcheol could read your body so well already but the little bitch backed out before you could cum again.
âCheolâŠâ
You whined, frustrated at the feeling ebbing away, desperately clenching to hold on to it.
âI said I wanted to hear you.â
You glared at him, not used to him having the upper hand. He knew he's got you under control when he finally loosened his bruising grip on your thigh to sit up and you opened your mouth on your own accord to let him slip his fingers into them.
âWhat a pretty little girl.â He sighed as you sucked on his digits. âMy pretty girl.â
âYes yours.â You moaned, as he pulled them out of your mouth and pushed them into his, wetting them more as you practically panted below him.
âI'll do what you want, just put them in me Cheol.â
âYou're quite demanding baby.â He leaned over you looking amused. âI hope you deliver as well as you talk.â
âI'll suck the life out of your dick after this I swear, just let me cum again.â
Enticed by the idea, Seungcheol captured your mouth in another one of his messy kisses, his fingers slowly slipping into your heat. You gasped into his mouth, surprised by how thick his fingers were. Oh his dick would probably make you pass out and god were you ready for it.
âSay my name baby.â Seungcheol pressed his forehead against yours, still holding your wrists between both your bodies with his other hand. âTell me who's making you feel so good.â
âYou.â You moaned as he pumped his fingers, slowly stretching you open, your arousal dripping down between your thighs. âFuck Cheol, faster.â
He obeyed, picking up the pace as you babbled a string of curses, legs squeezing his hand desperate to feel more. Seungcheol sucked on your neck, enjoying the way you were crumbling apart for him. How was he ever going to be away from you after this?
âOh god yes.â You sighed, as his fingers curled hitting the spot, eyes rolling back. Seungcheol looked at you in awe.
âI apologise if I ever told you that it was annoying when you rolled your eyes.â He continued to push you over. âThat was the hottest thing I've ever seen.â
âYes yes yes.â You chanted not hearing him, too lost in your own pleasure building. Pleased with himself, Seungcheol finally put his thumb over your clit and that was all it took for you to cum all over his fingers with yet another silent scream.
Seungcheol let your hands go and sat back on his heels, admiring his artwork. Your chest heaved erratically like you had forgotten how to breathe, squeezing your tits, hands desperate to claw something. Hair sticking to your forehead, sweat running down your neck next to the bruises he marked, you were a vision to behold.
Seungcheol sucked his fingers clean, relishing the taste of you yet again. You stared at him wide eyed, curious.
âHave you never tasted yourself?â
You shook your head.
âOh sweetheart.â
Seungcheol pushed his tracks down just a bit, enough to pull his dick out. It's not the longest you've seen but God was it thick, a stark vein running down the length which looked painfully hard. The thought of having him fill your mouth and choking around it literally made you drool.
He pumped it a few times before hooking his hands under your thighs and pulling you towards him with unsurprising ease. You scrambled to raise yourself up on your elbows, watching as he ran it up and down your slit, gathering your release on it.
âCome taste.â
You blinked at the man holding out his dick to you like it was a treat, like he expected you to crawl to him, stunned at just how cocky he had gotten in 20 minutes. Hell no.
You shook your head, tilting it in challenge.
âCome fuck my mouth.â
If Choi Seungcheol had a fatal flaw it was how much he desired control but right now, there was nothing he desired and craved more than you.
Moving over not so gracefully he aligned himself by your mouth, knees planted on either sides of your waist, looming over you.
You immediately wrapped your lips around his tip, humming at the weight on your tongue as he pushed your hair off your face softly.
âI know baby, you taste fucking divine.â
Giving him a half nod, running your tongue over his slit before hollowing your cheeks around him. The mix of your and his arousal indeed tastedâŠ.right, like they belonged together.
You tried to take in more of him but you might have underestimated his girth and overestimated your ability. Pulling back with a pop, you licked your lips.
âYou're too thick.â Mumbling you tried to push him off you, onto his back. âLet me move over-â
âOh no no.â Seungcheol clicked his tongue, grabbing the back of you neck, forcing you to look up at him. âIt can't be that bad, someone claimed they could stack fruit loops on it.â
You rolled your eyes realising he was a bit too proud of himself. âI still can. I just don't have the cereal to prove it.â
âI'll buy some on the way back and when we go home that's the first thing you're going to do.â He wiped the spit leaking around the corner of your mouth with his free hand. âAnd if you don't manage to prove your point, that's grounds for punishment.â
You grinned at him.
âOh you like that.â He hummed, guiding your head back to his cock. âWe'll see how much of it you can take baby.â
A lot apparently.
Seungcheol should have known. You were like him - you didn't like to be challenged. That's why the moment he thrusted himself into your mouth, you held onto the back of his thighs with both hands, pushing it in a lot more than Seungcheol had thought you were capable of. Throwing his head back with a satisfied moan, he began moving his hips ever so little, slowly fucking your face, but you had other ideas, taking him as far back as you could, your throat constricting around his dick.
âAlright that's it.â Seungcheol pulled you off him, staring at your confused face. Somehow you had no gag reflex and Seungcheol suddenly had the endurance of a teenager. âWant to actually fuck you.â
He muttered drawing back, kicking off the remaining of his clothes and sitting up, trying to hide his breathlessness.
âAw Cheol, was I right again?â You laughed, getting up and clambering onto his lap. âIs ten minutes really enough for you?â
âYou'll see.â He pulled you into a deep kiss before abruptly breaking away, leaving you confused yet again. âOr not.â
âWhat?â
âI just realised⊠I don't have a condom.â
You waited for him to tell you he was kidding but he looked serious.
âCheolâŠ.â He looked at you apologetically. âUgh Choi Seungcheol, why not?!â
âOne, don't call me that and two, I don't know, maybe because this was a work trip and the conference dress code didn't mention dick envelopes.â
You sighed annoyed. âI just always thought you'd carry one on you, xl sized.â You shot his overconfidence down before it even grew on him. âyou know, for your head.â
âOh because I'm a dick?â He rolled his eyes at the comment you had used on him too many times already. âWell, wouldn't that make you a little slut? Since youâve been in love with me for so many years.â
âWho said I was in love with you?â
Seungcheol looked at you with the biggest, fucking cutest eyes. âAre you not?â
You smiled, surprisingly shy despite all that transpired so far. Honestly, you didn't have to answer that question. What you felt for each other was clear as day.
Putting a finger on his mouth, you whispered. âLess talking, more fucking please.â
Seungcheol groaned. âWhat do you want me to do? Go buy them now?â
âNoâŠâ You hated the thought of him leaving.
âOrâŠ. I could pull out?â
âThe last thing I trust in this world is your timing.â You laughed, wrapping your arms around his neck. âBesides, don't you want to be inside me when you cum? Squeezing you tight? Milking you dry?â
âKinky.â Seungcheol raised an eyebrow, secretly delighted. âAnd shoot me if I ever say no to that, but you're not on birth control are you?â
âNoâŠâ You drawled. âBut I can get plan b?â
âBaby, you realize how reckless this is-â
âI know.â
â-we've barely just-â
âI'm aware.â
â-plus your health-â
âChoi Seungcheol.â You pushed him back into the bed, annoyed. âAre you gonna fuck me or not? Because if you don't then I'm gonna do it myself and all you get is to watch-â
Seungcheol, tucked his arm under his head, looking like he liked that idea a little too much.
â-while I cum taking someone else's name.â
His eyes darkened as his hand wrapped around your throat, pulling you down to his eye level, âTry me sweetheart.â
âYou know how I feel about challenges.â
âAnd you know how I feel about sharing whatâs mine.â
âThen fuck me like Iâm yours.â
Seungcheol smiled, dropping a soft kiss on your mouth, much in contrast to what followed. âRemember, you asked for this.â
One arm wrapped around your waist, he flipped you over, putting you below him once again, the hunger in his eyes burning a lot more now. As he shifted to push your legs apart, hand leaving your neck, a soft whine left you and Seungcheol caught it immediately.
âYouâre into that too?â Seungcheol smirked as you frowned at him, annoyed.
âApparently. I just found out as well.â
âI wonder what else youâre into.â
âYou can wonder all you want, after you put that dick into me.â
Seungcheol clicked his tongue disapprovingly. âI donât like how you think Iâd listen.â
Yet before you could talk back, he slid his cock along your folds, the tip slightly dipping into your hole, pulling out the most exquisite moan from you.
âNow thatâs something Iâd listen to.â He pushed himself a little further, your hands immediately coming to grip his biceps, gasping again at just how big he was. Seungcheol had been dying to listen to you sound like this and god was it so worth it.
You attempted to relax, adjusting around his girth as he eased himself in, but gave up even trying to maintain the facade of composure when he bottomed out, pressing all the way in.
âFuck yes Cheol.â
He hissed softly, feeling your soft walls flutter around him. He had never fucked anyone raw and after this, how was he expected to just not spend his whole life buried in you?
âPlease, move.â You begged, and he folded immediately, his hips slowly picking up pace as he kissed you along your neck.
âWe should have done this years ago.â He groaned, wrapping your legs around his hips, pounding faster, harder. âWe should have been doing this for years now.â
You nodded half listening, half submerged in your pleasure, nails running down his back. âLetâs just never get out of this bed.â
Seungcheol chuckled, absolutely agreeing with that idea, snapping his hips faster, delighted by the way you were reacting under him.
He wanted to flip you around and take you from the back, mark your ass with the red prints of his hand. He wanted you sitting on him, fucking yourself on his dick while he watched, your head thrown back in pleasure. He wanted to eat you out till you cried, fuck your throat and make you swallow, pull every moan and every whine and ever chant of his name out of you. God he wanted so much but Seungcheol wasn't capable of any of those right now - he had been hard for almost an hour now and your grip around him was like a vice.
âSeungcheol more.â You whined, despite him already railing into you like there was no tomorrow. He still listened though, sliding his hand down between your bodies and finding you clit, well aware that you would probably go unbelievably tight the moment he touched it, rendering him absolutely helpless. Sure enough, you keened, clamping down on him hard the moment he began rubbing circles, a string of curses leaving your mouth.
âCum for me.â He whispered, hips rutting against yours harshly, holding his own release back desperately. âCum all over me.â
And you did, the pleasure washing over you in waves, legs tightening around him before they finally went slack, exhausted. Seungcheol pulled them off him, gripping your thighs instead, shifting from an erratic rhythm to quick, deep strokes as he finally came inside you, collapsing on top.
He was careful enough not to crush you under his weight, holding himself up a little so you could regain your breath, watching your eyes flutter tiredly.
âWe need to get you cleaned up.â He tucked your hair behind your ear, glancing at your mixed arousals dripping out of you. âI donât know how long the statute of limitations for ejaculate isâŠ.â
For the first time in your life, Choi Seungcheol had managed to turn you dumb, as you nodded mindlessly, not having registered the stupidity that just came out of him.
He chuckled, rolling off you, but you dragged him back by the wrist, wrapping your arms around him.
âHold me.â
And as though the universe hated you, a sharp knock on the door made you two jump apart. Seungcheol still proceeded to hold you but the knocking only repeated, louder this time. He huffed annoyed, sliding off the bed, grabbing his shirt from the floor and threw it on. Opening the door just a little, half hiding behind it, lower half specifically, he peaked out but his plan was foiled when the receptionist pushed the door fully open and came barging in, throwing her hands around.
âCheck out time was 12! Youâre late-â
She froze as Seuncheol quickly covered himself with a towel from nearby and you scrambled in a hurry, hiding under the sheets, squirming in embarrassment.
The old woman slowly, still shocked to the core, muttered an apology and walked out of the room as Seungcheol smacked his head against the wall, regretting not wearing his pants.
âYouâŠâ She cleared her throat from the other side of the door. âYou have till 2. Get it together and get out of my lodge.â She then walked away, the sound of her footsteps fading, before they suddenly got louder again. âI would also like to add that I knew this was going to happen from the moment you two stepped foot in here!â
You covered your face trying not to pass out from the embarrassment as Seungcheol locked the door laughing.
"Why does she sound so happy?"
âI cannot believe she saw us." You groaned. "Who walks in like that-â
âWho cares?â Seungcheol walked over to you. âI cannot believe we still have two more hours.â
âYouâre not even ready to go again.â You looked pointedly at the softened dick in his hand that he was pumping lazily. âBesides, we're going to have to book the room again, for tonight.â
â2 hours isnât enough for you? Oh baby-â
âOur flight is at 5am tomorrow you idiot, we still need a place for the night.â
âRight.â Seungcheol recalled, âI forgot we had to go⊠that this had to come to an end.â
âNothingâs ending.â You clarified, putting a rest to his worries. âDidnât you say, you and I, till the end?â
Seungcheol nodded as you held your hand out to him. He walked over taking it, dropping a soft kiss on your knuckles.
âSay.â And you knew an unholy thought was brewing in that head of his. âWe have all this time and there are seven beds here.â
âI donât care how many there are.â You laughed, pulling him into the softness of the sheets. âI only want one to share with you.â

summary: you didn't really get the 'moaning and whimpering' epidemic.
pairing: pornstar!only x hyperfem!reader
content warning: country ony, male masturbation, degradation, rample fap, pervy onya, p hub link, idk how to tag
a/n: I was gonna gatekeep my favorite asmrist but for the sake of the fic i gave it up đ
sighing as the uptenth tiktok about moaning audios from boyfriends, and being talked through it appeared on her for you page. these were just two things she's never experienced in her 21 years of living.
so she decided to do her own research.
boyfriend asmr did nothing but make her giggle, and she mildly liked the whimpering audios but it also makes her cringe. until she stumble upon 'issanutbaby' nose turned at the name but still she clicked and scrolled.
endless audios and a couple videos with lewd titles filled her computer screen, heat rising to her face eyes scanning the ridiculously large package and oily, dark skinned muscular chest that showcased on each thumbnail.
finally making up her mind on a video with a less vulgar title 'ramblefap livestream' the show began. watching the dark skinned lean back into his chair, music low in the background as he smirked at the camera, the sliver grilz on his canines peaking. face never showing just his two toned lips glossy lips, pink tongue, body and huge half hard package.
he wasnt talking yet, just rolling the thick blunt between his pretty hands, tounge lapping at the papers with a smirk. "wish that was you huh?" talking with deep low rasp with a hint of southern twang that made her toes curl and boy did she definitely did wish it was her. he sparked it up taking a long drag, the smoke illuminating his sexiness even more.
"there's this girl I always see." he started with a groan. "a lil' thing she is." chuckling as he took another hit of his wood.
" always running around campus like a chicken wit 'er head cut off. it's cute but girls like that don't usually go for niggas like me. usually so stuck and in their books and looking fora nerdy ass engineer."
his lips pouted slightly as he shakes his head, "y'all saying why not talk to her? shiii ion' even know why i ain't approached her sexy ass."
humming he blew the smoke up as his unoccupied hand went to palm his growing erection. "always walking around in them lacy dresses and bows."
"fuck. was watching her last Friday and she dropped one 'er glittery ass notebooks. saw of peek of her panties and." he freed his cock hard and proud from the opening of his underwear. spitting on his hand as he began the stroke his piece. "saw that fat ass pussy through her pink panties"
he grunted, wood in his mouth as he leaned back into his chair hips slightly bucking up into his hand. "ima pervert?" he sounded amused as he squeezed his two-toned tip causing it to leak sticky, clear precum.
"who really the pervert? i think y'all are perverts. watching me stroke my shit, waiting for me to buss all over myself."
he laughed, your panties began to feel slick as you watched the glistening brown cock twitch as he talked, he was leaking down onto the floor, and his heavy balls caused a loud smacking sound to fill your air pods. "Fuckin' brats ion' think y'all deserve this nut."
you jump out your skin as your roommate annie enters the room. she frowns at your reaction, dumping her bags on the ground. "the hell. . you watching porn or something?"
"no! what? why would you even say that." you squeak out, with wide eyes. watching her lip lift in amusement as she slowly stalks your way. "oh reallyyy lemme see your laptop."
standing to your feet you clench your laptop to your chest, practically hissing at the blonde who puts her hands up in defeat.
"you got it princess"

à©â©â§âË TWENTY THREE MISSED CALLS â G. SATORU
â sum. you had always nagged to your boyfriend satoru to answer his damn phone. itâd always go straight to voicemailâyou told him in your own words, âtoru, what if something ever happened to you?â but this time, it was far too late.
wc. 1.7k tags. gn!reader, angst, nickname(s) 'baby, angel.'
an. idk how to write angst much but i was sad so came up w this. merry christmas :)
âhey heyy, itâs satoru. uh, youâve reached theâeheh what does that lady say againâŠ? youâve reached the voicemail box of.. gojo satoru. leave a message after the beep, beeeeep. heh, bye.â
such a dork.
you lost count of how many times you listened to that automatic message over and over again. the playful cheekiness in his voice, you could just see his smile. the dumb dimples that poke out against both of his cheeks whenever he grinned.
a cute dork. your dork.
besides that though, itâs been at least twenty three times of you ringing him, but to no avail. each time it went straight to voicemailâsucking your teeth in confusion, you started pacing around your bedroom. it was christmas morning, and gojo promised heâd be here before you wake up.
he couldnât beâŠ
no, heâs gojo satoru. he always wins, right?
right..?
the more you waited, the more impatient you became. the room grew colder and colder, despite the heat being turned on. you sat on gojoâs side of the bed, inhaling his scent, as if he was here right now.
heâd always fill up the room with his loud cologne scentsâyouâre always telling him how itâs too strong and he always kisses your cheek, muttering, âeh really? i donât smell it that much, baby..â
the scent was always sweet, a mixture of cinnamon and multiple other spicesâyou glanced at the rosĂ©gold alarm clock that rested against your nightstand, the time reading six thirty am.
he still wasnât here.
it was hard to not overthink, think the worst, gojo was always so good at calming your nerves. youâd be one to constantly overthink. his trick to stop that was to simply hold you in his arms, stroke your hair and tell you in a soft cheery voice, âhey angel, everythingâs gonna be okay. iâm okay, weâre okay.â
but again, he still wasnât here.
gojo mentioned to you before he left last night around midnight he had to âtake care of somethingâ â his code word of heâs about to go into battle or fight, but he didnât want you to worry about him.
thatâs the very last thing he wanted. and if anything, he always assured you heâd be okay. even if he was beaten to a pulp by his enemies, heâd always return back home to you with that stupid lovable grin on his face.
so what made christmas day any different?
you swallowed the thick, nonexistent lump in your throat, trying to snap out of your deep melancholy thoughts. dragging your feet,
you rubbed your eyes from the sun just barely shinning through the curtains scattered throughout the house.
with a soft sigh, you made your way towards the christmas tree â the pretty lengthy tree the both of you decorated together last minute, a tiny smile went on your face at remembering how gojo kept accidentally breaking all of the ornaments, so he had to constantly keep buying new ones.
lights, glimmery multicolored lights, a plethora of ornaments and a pretty sheeny star sits at the very top. you sat on your knees, before glancing down at the various presents â one caught your eye, it was a tiny box. a velvet heart shaped box, and gojo told you it was the biggest surprise yet.
you paused, glancing down at your phone that was about it to die soon, wondering why gojo still hasnât returned any of your calls.
heâs been gone for hours, and the knot in your stomach continued to tightenâit felt like something inside of you was squeezing, tugging you from the inside.
was this what a gut feeling feels like? something was telling you, screaming at you that something wasnât right.
with shaky hands, you went to his contact for what seems like the millionth time, staring at the image that was his picture, him and you.
the both of you were being goofy, it was a old polaroid picture a few years ago of the both of you during your birthday.
he spoiled you so much that day, but as always he never forgot to repeat how much he loved you.
the phone rang three times and your mind pretty much knew mentally he wasnât gonna answer, it was a bit foolish for you to continuously keep trying. but something in you told yourself, itâs satoru. heâs gonna answer. anything to reassure yourself, this happens a lot â gojoâs the type of person who always has his phone on silent, or he says heâll call you back but ends up forgetting.
after a few rings, the same automatic voicemail plays, and just hearing his voice again, no matter how many times â it never fails to make your heart swoon.
âhey heyy, itâs satoru. uh, youâve reached theâeheh what does that lady say againâŠ? youâve reached the voicemail box of.. gojo satoru. leave a message after the beep, beeeeep. heh, bye.â
you intake a sharp breath, closing your eyes before bringing the warm phone up to your ear, pressing it against your cheek before speaking in a voice.
a voice you hardly recognized, ââŠtoru?â and you were on the brink of tears, it was easy to hear and you tried not to let your emotions get the best of you but at this point..
was it really worth holding on to?
fifteen long seconds passed and you forgot the phone was still in your hand.
you sniffled, gathering yourself briefly before continuing in a soft drowsy voice, âh-hey, um. i donât mean to blow your phone up but, you arenât responding and iâm getting kind of scared. are you okay?â
you pause again, feeling the sting of tears nearly escape through your eyelids before you squeeze your eyes shut, lightly squeezing your left thigh to prevent any more emotions from revealing themselves.
âi um, just wanna say i love you, and i hope youâre okay. i didnât wanna open my gifts until you got here but youâre taking forever..â
and you manage to crack a tiny smile that purses against your lipsâyet after a while, it fades and your heart feels like itâs just walking on egg shells. âbut anyway, yeah. i love you satoru, text or call me back so i know youâre alright, please? and just get home safe okay? bye.â
you hung up the phone and a single tear ran down your cheek.
so much time had passed, and he still wasnât here. it was nearly seven in the morning now, and your dumb curiosity got the best of youâyou wondered what gojoâs big surprise gift was.
he wanted you to wait to see your reaction, but you were just so curious, so enthused.
you started to peel the pretty striped velvet wrapping paper off, one at a time, it was neatly wrapped with a perfect red and blank bow tied on the top.
once you opened it, it had a tiny black box, and your eyebrows raised, a note sticking out the side. grabbing it, you revealed it and it read in neat handwriting:
âhi baby!! merry merry christmas, iâm kinda tearing up while writing this, and i know i know you probably just wanna see the gift but first read this âkay? just wanna say i love love you so much, and iâm so glad weâve been together for almost four years now. you mean everything to me, youâre so sweet and kind, always there whenever i need to talk my feelings out, or even if i just need to lay on you and fall asleep. but anywho, you know who loves you? this guy! hopefully i made you smile as you read this, im probably not at home yet but ill be back soon. donât worry your pretty little head, alright? i love you baby, merry christmas from your honored one, xoxo.â
tears were in your eyesâand it was like you could hear him, he was right, you did manage to smile. sniffling, you placed the note aside before opening the small black box.
once you pulled the top back, your eyes widened, seeing a small coruscating ring. your heart sang, blinking twice to make sure your eyes werenât playing tricks on you.
gojo was planning to propose..?
the ring was so pretty.
various scattered crushed up like pearls around the top, and once the tears started, they kept streaming down your face. you quickly pulled it out, sliding it on your ring finger and it was a perfect fit â in a frail sob, you mumble, ây-yes, iâll marry you satoru.â
yet â thatâs when you wake up, finally snapping back to reality. confused with tears still streaming down your face, burning.
âsatoru?â
no answer.
you get up from the bed, your eyes widen before you look at your right hand â and the engagement ring was still there. a sigh of relief exits your mouth, and thatâs when you make your way towards the kitchen.
nothing to worry about, maybe you just fell asleep while opening the gift. yeah, that had to be it.
although, the atmosphere of your house felt different. taking a quick glance in the living room, the christmas tree wasnât there anymore, it wasnât snowing, and it was almost as if you lived by yourself.
âsatoru?â you called out again, before pulling out your phone â scrolling towards your messages and your heart suddenly sank. the last message you sent him was two years ago, a subtle âsatoru, itâs christmas and youâre still not here? are you okay?â
christmas
you pulled a tab down on your phone â and the date read march 17th. approximately two years later from when you last sent that message, and you were so confused.
but the further you scrolled down, you saw messages from others, sending you their regards and condolences for your lossâŠ.loss?
the recent message was from geto â and your last reply was, âthank you, iâm doing okay. i just still canât believe heâs gone.â
. . .
you felt sick â tear after tear racing down both sides of your face before coming to the sudden unfathomable realization.
gojo never came back home for one reason and one reason only. he died a painful death those long two years ago, even though he swore heâd come back to you on christmas.
perhaps everything was all a lie.
sometimes people donât win all the time, not even the honored one, the love of your life, gojo satoru.

â no such thing as too perfect // jeon wonwoo
wonwoo x gn!reader, 2k+ words
tags: office au, established relationship, fluff, kinda crack, junhui is the best work bestieTM ever, yn is Dramatic and In Love
warnings: none
notes: this was only meant to be like, 1.2k.... idk what happened but im not apologising. also there are a couple of pov switches which i hope make sense!!
âI think I need to break up with him,â you say, and Junhui blinks around a mouthful of salad.Â
âWho?â he asks, spraying pieces of feta cheese all over the table, and you wrinkle your nose and brush away a few bits that get too close to you and your bento box. He frowns, and then his eyes widen. âOh my god, you need to break up with Jeon Wonwoo? Why do you need to break up with Jeon Wonwoo?â
You wince as Junhui's loud exclamation rings throughout the office canteen, making several heads turn to look at the two of you.Â
âDon't yell it so loudâand why are you saying his name in italics?â
âBecause this is Jeon Wonwoo,â Junhui emphasises again, shoving salad passionately into his mouth before carrying on talking. âHe's the only one of your boyfriends that I've actually ever approved of. Which is crazy, because Soonyoung introduced him to you, and I've never pinned Soonyoung as a guy that knows boyfriend-material guys.â
You reach over and lower Junhuiâs fork, preventing him from eating and talking at the same time. âI don't know,â you sigh. âI just⊠I don't think this is going to work.â
âWhat did he do?â Junhui asks. His face morphs into a more serious look. âDo I need to murder him for you?â
âNo, Iâ no! Don't murder him!â you say quickly, shaking your head. âHe hasn't done anything wrong. It's just. I think I need to break up with him.â
The grave look melts from Junhui's face, and then he frowns. âYou need to break up with him⊠even though he hasn't done anything wrong?â
âYes.â
Junhui stares at you, mystified, then snatches back his fork to keep eating his salad. âOkay, so you've gone insane. Nice to know.â
You sigh at Junhui's response, rubbing your temples.Â
Whilst it does sound insane for you to break up with Wonwoo even though he's done nothing wrong, in your eyes, it's actually quite understandable.Â
Nothing has gone wrong, per se: you've been dating Wonwoo for about ten months now, and everything has been perfect. He's been perfect.Â
Maybe⊠a little too perfect.Â
He's always being so gentle and courteous, silently reading your emotions and knowing exactly how you're feeling at any given moment. He knows what you need before you even know that you need itâgiving you little cheek kisses to remind you that you're loved, pushing a chocolate bar into your hand when you're all dizzy and tired, hugging you to sleep when you've had a bad day.Â
The bento box that you're opening and having for lunch? That was prepared by him too.Â
Jeon Wonwoo is just so goddamn perfect, and it worries you.Â
âI don't think I'm good enough for him,â you admit whilst Junhui is busily sipping his water.Â
It's fascinating how he manages to eat so frantically whilst eating so slowly at the same time, you think idly, as Junhui chokes on the tiny sip he was taking. He sets down the glass, wiping his mouth and blinking at you.Â
âSorry, what?â
âCome on, Junhui, do I really have to say it again?â you complain, beginning to open your bento box. âYou heard me.â
âYeah, and I couldn't believe my ears,â he says, tilting his head sideways. âYou? Not good enough for him? Please. That's crazy.â
You make a questioning noise. âYou just said that he's the only boyfriend of mine that you approved of.â
âExactly.â Junhui stabbed his fork in your direction, before going back to shovelling leaves into his mouth. âYou're perfect for him, and he's perfect for you. I predicted it from the moment you met.â
âI don't know about me being perfect for him, but he really is just too perfect for me,â you whine. âHim and his stupidly warm eyes and that smile⊠oh, Junhui, he makes me feel like the most beautiful person in this entire universe.â You look down at your bento box, pouting. âWonwoo's just so perfect.â
Junhui makes a face. âGross, but okay. I still don't see your point, though. Wonwoo's perfect, and you're both good enough for each other. I don't see why you think you need to break up with him.â
Still looking down at the bento box, you let out a sigh. All of the food is neatly packed away into the separate compartments, and he's even arranged the sesame seeds on your rice into a little heart. It's an awfully goofy but also an awfully Wonwoo thing to do, and you can feel your heart squeezing painfully in your chest, the longer you stare at it.Â
This is not good. You are far too in love with Wonwoo.Â
That's what you tell Junhui, and he stares at you with utter disbelief as if you've finally admitted that you really have lost your mind.Â
âAnd what makes you think that he's not far too in love with you?â Junhui asks. âYou know, one of the reasons that I approve of Wonwoo is because he's just so so in love with you. Like, almost disgustingly in love with you.â
âWhat?â You blink at him, before shaking your head. âJunhui, no, this is serious. Wonwoo's just so perfect and I'm so in love with him andâand it's actually getting dangerous now. I've literally fallen in love with him.â
Junhui stares at you for a long moment, wondering whether you're actually being serious about all of this.Â
âThat's not a bad thing,â he insists, and then chomps on his salad in frustration. âY/N, that's not a bad thing at all.â
âYes it is,â you say, despairingly, looking forlorn as you prop your chin on your hand. âI love him too much. It's gonnaâit's gonna get too overwhelming, soon, and then he'll start thinking I'm weird, and he'll distance himself from me, and then we'll break up and I should end this before that happens.â
Junhui shakes his head. âI don't think that's true.â
âYes it is.â
âNo it isn't. He won't break up with you.â
âNot yet.â
Junhui looks away exasperatedly, because you're adamant in wallowing in your despair over having to break up with Wonwoo because âhe's too perfectâ even while quite happily eating the lunch that Junhui knows Wonwoo probably prepared for you.Â
It's insane, he thinks, because it's obvious to him that Wonwoo loves you a lot. But he knows you and your negative thinking, and short of Wonwoo walking in here and professing his love to you all by himself, Junhui can't think of anything that could possibly convince you otherwise.Â
As he looks past your shoulder to the glass doors of the office canteen, however, he blinks.Â
There's a tall man entering the canteen, his dark hair all fluffy and his glasses-rimmed eyes scanning the area, lips pursed into a look that could almost be described as bored. He has his hands in his coat pockets, wearing the most simple casual fit ever, but he exudes such cold model energy that even Junhui blinks again.Â
And then he watches as the man catches sight of you and Junhui, and his entire demeanour just softens.Â
Junhui bites back a grin.Â
Wow. Maybe heâs, like, actually psychic.Â
âWonwoo's here,â he says abruptly, and your head snaps up so fast that he can hear the audible click that sounds in your neck.Â
âWhere?âÂ
Junhui doesn't get to say anything, however, because he sees the moment that your eyes clock the tall man that's striding into the canteen, the light catching the frames of his glasses, and watches as you positively melt, in much the same way that the man had done when he saw you.Â
He can almost hear every infatuated thought that runs through your mind.Â
âWonwoo,â you breathe, once Wonwoo steps close enough to the table that you and Junhui are eating at. His hair is all fluffy and windswept, and you resist the urge to smooth it down with your fingers.Â
âHello.â Wonwoo bends down, presses a soft kiss to your forehead. âYou weren't answering your phone.â
âHm? I didn't get any text notifs from you.â You check your phone, trying to turn it on, only for the screen to remain black. âOh. Is it dead?â
âI suspected as much,â Wonwoo says dryly, but there's a fondness in his voice as he pulls out a power bank from his pocket. âHere.â
Your eyes light up. âOh, you're a life saver!â You look up at Wonwoo, smiling at the way his eyes look so warm as he gazes down at you. âThank you.â
Junhui slurps his water loudly.Â
âSorry,â he says, sounding not sorry at all when the two of you look over at him. âDon't mind me.â
He's grinning mischievously, for reasons that you cannot fathom, and when he leans forward to peer up at Wonwoo with curious eyes, the mischief in his grin only increases.Â
âSo, Wonwoo, why are you here?â
Wonwoo tilts his head, pushing his glasses up at the same time. âYou're Junhui.â
âThe one and only,â Junhui says brightly. âI'm Y/N's work bestie. I've heard loads about you.â
You hiss in annoyance, kicking Junhui under the table even as Wonwoo laughs amusedly, placing a hand on your shoulder affectionately.Â
âWen Junhui! Why would you say that?â
âDo you talk about me that often?â Wonwoo asks, and his tone is somewhere between genuinely curious and adoring and you kind of just wanna sit there and listen to his voice forever.Â
âOh, all the time,â Junhui says, eyes gleaming, and you snap your gaze back to him, exasperated. âY/N loves you so much. I hear about the extent of it every day.â
Wonwoo looks down at you, raising an eyebrow. âReally?â
You kind of want to deny it, but then that would mean lying to Wonwoo, so you don't.Â
âMaybe?â you say weakly, cheeks burning as you smile sheepishly up at him. âYou're just, uh. Really really lovely. And, um, I kind of love you. A lot.â
Wonwoo laughs, a full and endeared laugh, twinkling with the light of a thousand suns. âI'm glad. Because you're really lovely, and I love you a lot too.â
Your eyes widen, and suddenly it's like it's just you and Wonwoo in the canteen now, him with his hand on your shoulder and those eyes, holding your very soul in place as he just smiles so lovingly and oh God you really do love him.Â
âOh,â you say, soft. âWonwooâŠâ
Wonwoo just smiles again. âAnyways, I came by to let you know that I'll be finishing work a bit earlier today, so call me when you're done and I'll drive by to pick you up, okay?â
You nod, mute, stunned by the gentlest words of âI love youâ that had left Wonwoo's mouth just seconds before.Â
âIt was nice meeting you,â Junhui chirps, but Wonwoo doesn't seem to hear, because he's looking down at you again, before swooping in and placing the lightest kiss on your nose and you feel like you could combust on the spot right there.Â
âI'll see you later?â he says.Â
You nod. âI'll see you later.â
Wonwoo smiles, and then the hand slides off your shoulder and he walks away.Â
You watch him go, watch him walk through the tables and then get to the glass doors, where he turns around one last time to wave goodbye before disappearing outside, and really, it's insane how much you love him.Â
And how much he loves you, it seems.Â
âSo. He took time out of his own lunch break and came all the way here to give you a charger because he knew that you'd forgotten one and to tell you that he's picking you up later?â Junhui says, making you reluctantly turn back to him. âY/N. If this doesnât make you see just how in love with you Wonwoo is, then Iâm gonna kick you.â
âHey, no need for violence,â you say, raising an eyebrow, and Junhui pulls a face.Â
âSo do you see it or do you not?â
You look over your shoulder again, out at the doors. Wonwooâs no longer there, but you can still imagine the imprint of his warmth, lingering like the softest lavender scent over the entire area.Â
âMaybe I do,â you say, all wistful and dazed, a smile on your face. âIsnât he just so perfect?â
Junhui grins, and makes use of your distracted state to steal a carrot stick from your lunch, crunching on it loudly.
âPerfect and in love with you,â he points out. âSo do you still feel like you need to break up with him?â
âHm?â
You blink, eyes still all starry from your few minutes of interacting with your boyfriend, his soft smile etched into your mind. It takes a moment for Junhui's words to register, but then they do, and you can't help but laugh.Â
âOh. Oh, no. He and I are perfect.â
Junhui grins. He really is a psychic.Â

VERY BRIEF SMUT in the form of cockwarming, daddy kink but i didnât go overboard this time, pet names (honey, baby, babygirl, sweetheart) if i missed anything, you can POLITELY let me know because if i missed anything, it was purely accidental. minimal editing.
PLEASE HEED THE WARNINGS.
if this isnât your thing, thatâs fine, just scroll on by.
word count: 1.4k
a/n: i might actually throw up idk. iâve had this itch to try dark joel and seeing as i have major writerâs block with all my other wips i decided to just scratch the itch. this is a little out of my comfort zone but i actually ended up feeling pleased with what i wrote. this is my personal take on dark/raider joel, iâm sure it is very out of character but itâs fanfiction soâŠyeah. here it is.
Itâs the rain that rouses you from your sleep.
It beats down heavily on the remote cabinâs tin roof.
Loud. Much too loud.
You roll over, settling yourself on your side.
The mattress is old, worn, rotting beneath the sheets.
You canât complain, though. At least you have a bed.
Everybody else is forced to sleep on the hard floor.
He always gets the room with the bed.
As his special girl, that means you always get the room with the bed too.
Itâs not quite as flattering as one would believe.
He only ever wants the bedroom for one reasonâto keep you behind a locked door so you canât run.
You sigh softly and stare out the window. Heâd secured that too, made certain that it couldnât be opened from the inside.
Closing your eyes, you try and go back to sleep.
Sleep doesnât come.
His absence is starting to bother you.
Youâve been with him for an entire season now.
Youâre getting used to him.
The sound of his voice.Â
The warmth of his body.
The taste of his lips.
You canât even sleep without him next to you.
âFuck,â you whisper, clutching the stale sheets, balling them in your fists out of frustration.
How was it possible? How could you be missing him?
He had taken everything from you.
Your family.
Your home.Â
Your innocence.
He was holding you captive. He was a monster.
But a monster doesnât keep you safe.
Doesnât clothe you.
Doesnât feed you.
Doesnât protect you.
He did all of those things and more.Â
Is that why you feel so empty without him beside you?
Is that why youâre no longer so certain you would run if you were given the chance to escape him?
You fucking hated him for what heâd done.
Yet here you are, aching for him to come back to you.
Itâs another hour before you hear the lock clicking.Â
Joel pushes through the door, quietly closing it behind him.
âYâawake?â he asks, slipping his pack off his shoulders.
âMhm,â you answer with your back to him. âI am.â
You hear the sound of his pack hitting the floor.
His worn leather boots being kicked off.Â
His rifle being set down, propped against the wall.
âHow was the hunt?â
You can feel him freeze as heâs taking off his jacket.
Getting you to willingly speak to him had always been a lot like pulling teeth. Difficult, almost impossible.
When he doesnât respond, you roll over to face him.
Thereâs a swoop in your tummy.
Joel is drenched from head to toe. His blue denim shirt clings to his broad frame and his dark, graying curls are slicked back away from his face.
Heâs got such a handsome face.
Monsters arenât supposed to have handsome faces.
He raises an eyebrow. âYouâre really askinâ me how the hunt went?â Suspicion laces his tone. âWhy? Yïżœïżœïżœworried you wonât eat tonight?â
Of course you werenât.
Joel Miller doesnât let you go hungry.
When food is scarce, he makes sure you eat first. If he notices you rubbing your tummy because your portion wasnât enough, heâll give you his own portion.
He takes care of you.
âNo.â You pause and sit up. The sheets you two share fall away from your body, leaving your soft, supple breasts on full display for him. âJust wanted to know how your morning went. Thatâs all.â
Itâs not your tits that make his cock twitch against the zipper of his jeansâitâs the sincerity that flashes across your features, the sound of it in the tone of your voice.
Youâre being sweet to him.
He clears his throat lightly.
âWent real good. Brought down a deer. Female, âbout a hundred pounds or so. Enough to keep all of us well fed for the next couple of weeks,â he says with a nod. âWas pissinâ rain the entire time but it was worth it. Tommyâs in the shed out back right now dressinâ it so we can get a stew started.â He pauses. âYouâre gonna get a proper meal tonight, babygirl. Bellyâs gonna be nice and full.â
Heâs not just talking about food and you know it.
You make an effort to meet his gaze, but you canât. You canât bring yourself to do it, not when you remembered how heâd taken you away from your familyâhow he had carried you over his shoulder, kicking and screaming as his people raided your camp and slaughtered every last member of your group because thatâs what Joel Miller had ordered them to do.
Looking him in the eye might be the one thing you will never, ever be able to do.
âItâs cold,â you murmur after a minute. âYou should get out of those wet clothes before you get sick.â
With a subtle nod, Joel turns around and starts peeling off his clothes until heâs completely naked. He uses an old rag to dry himself off as best as he can, although it doesnât do much for him.
You canât help yourself and stareâyour gaze drags over the strong muscles of his back and shoulders, how they flex and ripple beneath his skin with every single one of his movements. Arousal pools between your thighs and all you can do is fucking hate yourself for wanting it, for wanting him.
âSâpretty early still,â he states, his back still to you as he runs the rag through his hair. âYâshould try to get some more sleep.â
The confession tumbles out of your mouth before you can even think about stopping it.
âI couldnât sleep while you were gone.â
Surprised, he turns around.
Almost immediately, your eyes fall to his cock.
Even when he isnât fully hard, heâs still so fucking big.
âIs that so?â Joel asks, sounding rather pleased.Â
âYes,â you say, softly. âIâI missed you.â
His lips turn upwards into a subtle, faint grin.
âYeah?â he coos. âMy sweet little girl missed me while I was gone? Hm?â Slowly, he approaches the bed. It dips slightly and the frame creaks as he plants a knee on the mattress and leans over towards you. Gently, Joel takes your chin between his index finger and thumb. âYâneed Daddy by your side so you can sleep, sweetheart?â
âYes,â you whisper, warm tears glazing over your eyes.
Itâs bad enough your body welcomed him so easily.
Now your heart was starting to do the same.
And then there was your mind.
What if that stopped fighting him too?
Part of you is afraid it already has.
Joel climbs into bed, joining you under the sheets.
âMâhere, my pretty girl. Câmere, honey.â He coaxes you to lay on your side and pulls you back against his chest. His skin is still damp, frigid from having been out in the elements, but somehow heâs still warm. âThat better?â
âNeed you closer,â you mumble, wiggling against him.
Joel groans, his thick cock hard and throbbing against the small of your back. He nips at your bare shoulder as his hand drags down the length of your body and slips between your thighs. âChrist, babygirl. Pussyâs soakinâ wet for me. Looks like she missed me while I was gone too, didnât she, sweetheart?â
He runs his finger along your slick, silky folds.
âDaddy,â you whimper, bucking into his hand.
âDonât worry, honey. Daddy knows what you need.â
Joel pulls his hand from between your legs.
You almost cryâyouâre so fucking desperate for him.Â
And you shouldnât be.Â
He reaches in between your bodies, his hand wrapping around the base of his cock. Without warning, he slips it into your tight, aching cunt, sheathing himself in your warm, wet heat in one smooth stroke.
You choke out a sob.
Itâs always overwhelming, that initial stretch.
That fullness, the feeling of him being in your belly.
âSâalright, sweetheart. Sâalright. I know you can take it,â he soothes you. âYouâre such a good girl for me. Always take my cock so fuckinâ well. So good for me, baby. You feel better now that Daddyâs cock is buried inside your pretty little pussy?â
He drapes an arm around you, pulling your back flush against his chest.
âYes,â you breathe, placing your hand on top of his.
Joel feathers a kiss onto your neck.
âGo to sleep, babygirl. Mâhere. Ainât goinâ nowhere,â he promises you.
That shouldnât be a comfort to you. But it is.
You close your eyes, your fingers subconsciously lacing together with his as you start to drift.
Cunt full of his cock, you fall asleep in your captorâs arms.

Hey!! Idk know if you are taking requests right now but can you write a Theo x Hufflepuff reader imagine where the reader is always telling him to make friends from other houses. He finally does make friends but with a beautiful Ravenclaw and starts spending more time with her. The reader starts feeling insecure and ignores Theo. He soon realises that she is ignoring him and talks to her.
Btw I love your writing and can you please tag me if you do write it?
Too Friendly
Theodore Nott x reader
Warnings: Swearing, allusions to sex but no sex.
Description: The reader wants Theo to make more friends but when he does, she becomes insecure about their bond.
Sorry this took so long to get out, I'm in the middle of my final exams of high school so I don't have much time. I enjoyed writing this one. Thanks for the request @orphicmortala
âItâs sad, Theo, youâve got, like, no friends!â You said as you tried your best to remember how to tie your yellow tie.
âWhat do you call Malfoy, then?â Theo asked from the bed.
âAn accomplice,â you replied with that unique snark that Theo loved about you, âYou need friends from other housesâ Friends that arenât just me.â You added those final words hastily before he could open his mouth in protest.
Theo rolled his eyes and beckoned you over. His hands glided over the folds of your tie with expertise, undoing the mess of a knot youâd created in order to do it up properly and perfectly. When he was done, he looked up at you with his gorgeous, oceanic eyes and the corners of his mouth where both his beautiful lips connected turned upwards. You uttered your thanks quietly as you resisted the primal urge to just not go to class at all and instead spend the whole day with him. Your mind wandered off to imagine being stuck between Theoâs checkered emerald sheets, but you brought it back to reality.
Fending off your lustful desires as well as a nun would, you bid adieu to Theo and hurried out of his room and the Slytherin common room. On your way out, you dodged the teasingly crude jokes and names that Theoâs friends tossed towards you and told Pansy that she was no better than yourself (youâd seen the way she snuck out of that empty classroom after Draco a couple days earlier, her hair and clothes all dishevelled and her thighs rubbing together uncomfortably).
The whole day, Theo dwelled on your words. While you werenât exactly dating or in a relationship, he always found himself bound to your every word and every whim. You seemed to dictate his life in a way that you certainly shouldnât, but he couldnât help but listen to you. So, in Arithmancy, he didnât sit next to Blaise as he usually did, instead electing to sit with Lisa Turpin, a Ravenclaw girl heâd seen you talk to a few times.
She looked at him in confusion, âDid you need something?â
He withheld the instinct to say some snide remark and instead replied, âI thought Iâd make a new friend today.â
âOn some random Tuesday⊠in our Sixth year?â Her face contorted to expose her obvious disgust.
âMerlinâs cock and balls, Iâm trying to be nice, Turpin!â Theo frowned and picked up his bag to go sit elsewhere.
Turpin grabbed his wrist as he stood up and her lips made a thin line as she pulled him back down to the seat. Her brows knitted together like a homemade sweater and she breathed out a sigh of defeat.
âNo, itâs okay, sorry,â she said, âSit here if youâd like.â
Over the next week, Theo made some serious efforts to get to know Turpin despite his friendsâ obvious, loud verbal opposition. After that first Arithmancy class, Blaise had practically torn him to shreds with his massive speech on house loyalty and the horrible impact that you were clearly having on him. Daphne had recited the same speech her mother had given to her on her first day of her first year at school about how interrelations with students from the lesser houses was a gateway drug to blood sympathy (sheâd given him the same speech when he started his little thing with you). And Pansy, Merlinâs beard, Pansy was furious.
Pansy had constructed this whole idea in her mind that you hated that Theo was talking to Turpin. She called it âcheatingâ which Theo had adamantly disagreed with. He wasnât having sex with Turpin, in fact, he had absolutely zero romantic interest in her. He barely even liked her. The only thing the two had in common was Arithmancy and every time they hung out they talked about it until there was no more Arithmancy to talk about. It was, quite frankly, boring. Turpin was boring.
âItâs emotional cheating,â said Pansy in a huff as she and the others started towards the Great Hall for Monday breakfast.
âEmotional cheating?â Theo asked skeptically.
âYes, Nott, emotional cheating,â she nodded, âAnd itâs hurting Y/nâs feelings. Thatâs why she hasnât spoken to you all week.â
His gaze snapped to focus on Pansy whose black eyes were ablaze with the feminine rage of a girlâs best friend, âHow do you know she hasnât spoken to me all week?â
Pansy smirked, her honey red lipstick bright against her pale skin, and shrugged. She knew you hadnât spoken to him all week because you wouldnât shut up about it. In Divination on Wednesday afternoon, youâd all but assaulted Pansy with questions about Theoâs newfound interest in Turpin. All of which Pansy had no helpful responses to.
âIs he flirting with her?â You asked.
âMaybe, I donât know, itâs not like they sit with us,â said Pansy, struggling to focus on the crystal ball with all your chatter.
âWhy not? Why donât they sit with you? Are they trying to be private?â You pushed almost frantically.
âUh, possibly? Honestly, I just think he knows we donât like her,â she explained.
âWhy donât you like her? Is she a bitch?â You frowned and then quickly added in a judgmental tone, âOr are you just being blood supremacists?â
âIs she a mudblood?â Pansy stopped working to stare at you.
You smacked her hand and she hissed, âI donât know her that well. Donât say that.â
When Theo and his friends finally arrived at the Great Hall, he searched the tables for your face. While most people usually stuck to their houseâs table, you were a social butterfly and loved to flutter from table-to-table to talk to all of your many friends. Sometimes he wondered how you werenât a prefect despite your popularity and the respect the younger years gave you. His eyes found Turpin first and she beamed and waved him over, but he blatantly ignored her. Pansy and Daphne watched on with delight as the girl cringed with embarrassment and turned back to her meal with bright red ears.
A spot of h/c hair floated above a robe lined with yellow and he abandoned his friends to go to you. You were standing at the end of the Hufflepuff table (not an unusual place to find you, but your favourite table was always the Slytherin one), and you were utterly consumed by a tale you were sewing for your housemates Hannah Abbott and Justin Finch-Fletchley.
âY/n,â Theo spoke and his deep, smokey voice tore you straight out of your conversation, âCan we talk?â
Your eyebrows quivered and your blinking sped up as you took his appearance in for the first time all week. You hadnât gone so long without speaking to him in at least three years (you got into an argument in your third year about the petrifications) and hearing his voice and seeing him so close was like throwing a former alcoholic into a sea of wine. There was nothing you wanted more than to indulge in him. But Hannah and Justin were glaring at him like hawks, or guard dogs, whichever was more intimidating.
âUm,â you glanced back at your friends and Hannah shook her head slightly, sheâd never much liked Theo, âSure.â
Hannah rolled her eyes and whispered something barely audible to Justin. Something about a âlove-fucked pushover.â You ignored her. Theo took you to a pair of seats far from any prying ears and held your hands in his.
âYou know I donât like Turpin, right?â He said quietly.
You scoffed, âYeah, right. And thatâs why you spent all week with her.â
âI spent all week with her because you told me to!â He laughed with salt that spread itself over your wounded heart.
âDid I just? Because I really donât remember saying âHey, Theo, you know how I like you so much? I actually want you to go talk to another girl,ââ you said sarcastically.
He held back a grin as best he could but the amusement glistened in his eyes and on his rosy, mole-spotted cheeks. His hand came up to your brow and massaged the frown out from between your eyebrows as you fluttered your eyelashes at him in the way you knew made him melt inside.
âI wanted to make friends for you,â he told you with that soft, romantic tone he used in bed.
âDonât,â you ordered, âYouâre Theodore Nott, you arenât supposed to be friendly.â
For the first time in a week, he got a good look at you. He hadnât realised how much he missed the sight of your h/l h/c hair and the way it framed your stunning face so perfectly that you appeared to have stepped right out of a portrait. He hadnât realised how much he missed how your eyes, an elegant e/c and perpetually glossy as if always on the verge of tears, examined every centimetre of his face. He hadnât realised how much he missed doing your tie up for you until he saw it tied like a bow around your neck.
âIâm friendly to you,â he said as his hands pulled at the end of the tie and it fell apart over your chest.
âAnd thatâs all you need, I think,â you whispered pleasantly and pressed a loving kiss to his lips as he looped the tie around itself twice and pushed the end through the gap, tying it perfectly.

YOU...YOU CAN DO THAT? âa spider-reader x team"
WARNINGS/TAGS + sfw, they/them (gender neutral) reader addressed as spider cause if you can't tell i'm very creative, inspired by miles morales spiderman cause hes my fav, no beta we die like aunts and uncles in spiderman movies/comics, canon-typical violence (not heavily detailed).
A/N + to the anon who requested this nearly a year ago, i'm so sorry pookie the writer block put me in a author coma of sorts. despite this being a year late and trash, i hope you enjoy regardless, and i'm hoping to get more active with my writing again! enjoyyyyyy!
REQUEST + "Oops here I am again (the same anon who requested a reader with spider like abilities).. I forgot to specify đ but like maybe could you do idk a first meeting between the YJ and the reader (they/them btw)? Would they be creeped out with the readers' abilities or would it go like 'oh wooooow. Show us how it works!'?"
KFÂ & AQ "Kid!" Kid Flash turns to Spider as he sprints across the buildings adjacent to them. They struggle to match his pace, but as he slows to stick his landing, they manage to catch up and yell at a simple instruction that nearly has him freezing in his tracks out of horror.
"Jump!"
"What?" They flinch at the loud screech that pierces through their earpiece. "No way- are you crazy?!"
"Just-"
Their eyes widen as they watch the monster they've been trying to lead away from the populated city centre leaps into the air behind him.
"-do it!"
Kid Flash hesitates for a moment, they can see it on his face, ready to ignore their request when the creature lets out a rumbling roar.
The ground shakes under his feet as the monstrous thing lands on the building behind him and his face drops into a comical expression.
He spares it a glance over his shoulder, and with its claws reaching out from him, he takes the leap, narrowly avoiding the sharp nails, but as he flails around in the air, weightless, he wonders-
does he really prefer concrete over nails?
He shuts his eyes, readying himself from an impact that- never comes. Rather, there's something sticking to his stomach before he's being yanked to the side, and then-Â up.
Instead of the smack of concrete, he hits a person, their arms wrapped around him as they roll both of them through the force.
Kid Flash, finally, shoots up and opens his eyes.
Spider and Kid Flash are sat on their asses with matching shellshocked looks, staring down at the building across of them, where that beast shares a similarly confused look as it watches the street below them.
The two turn to blink at each other, shuffling to their feet as they let out joyous cheers that sound almost like screams (poor Kaldur's ears can testify), arms wrapped around each other as they jump with like two middle aged men who's football team just scored the final point.
"Dude, we did that!"
"Right?! I thought I was gonna fall to my death but then you just-!"
"I didn't even know how I did that! It was sheer animal instinct-"
Needless to say, Kaldur was less than happy, and no more "jumping-off-the-building-and-praying" was permitted or attempted.Â
Not around Kaldur anyway.
ARTÂ & SUP Superboy fails to punch through it, the cage simply folding and stretching around his fist before it pushes him, his shoulder bumping into Artemis'.
"Are we stuck in here until Robin gets back?" Artemis asks with a irritated sigh, turning to look at Spider.
They seem mystified, a mischievous glint in their eyes that she can make out through the big cartoonish eyes of the mask as they take in the strange cage.
Their hands press against the cage, palm flat as they give it a little experimental shove before she can make out their eyebrows rising.
Their palms start to spark, and the red hue of the cage begins to light up a pale blue, "Nope."
The crackles of electricity grow louder and Artemis and Superboy step back just as an awful cracking sounds and-
The cage bursts around them, Spider's sent flying back into Artemis, who's then sent back into Superboy and the three hit the floor with matching grunts.
There's a moment of silence, before Artemis is shoving Spider off of her and rolling off of Superboy herself. As the three sit themselves up slowly, Artemis can make out Spider nodding to themselves with what she thinks is pride.
"I didn't know you could do that." Superboy comments plainly as the three slowly get back to their feet.
Blinking at him, Spider wiggles their fingers at him with a smile.
"Me neither."
MG &Â ROB With a grunt, Robin sits up with a grimace, hand on his head as his eyes readjusts when he manages to make out Bane stood just in his eye-line.
Bane isn't looking at him though, instead the man's eyes are trained on Miss Martian floating in the air, hands outstretched out in front of her.
She's clearly too busy managing her telekinesis to notice the hulking man anger as he grabs onto one of the many large pieces of machinery lying around the abandoned factory and prepares to ambush her.Â
Miss Martian, watch out!
Robin's voice rings out in her head, and M'gann whips around, eyes landing on Bane.
Before either of them can react, something is suddenly flying through the air and with a loud thwack- Bane is lying on the floor, looking a lot less angry and unconscious. Now up on his feet, Robin slowly approaches Bane, M'gann landing on his side as the pair blink down at whatever hit him.
Upon inspection, it's the barrel tank that those cement trucks carry. Empty, sure, but Robin's not surprised that guy was put to bed.
What's more surprising?
"Woooo, my aim's getting good, no?" Spider grins, bouncing on their feet as they approach the two.
"You... you threw that?" Miss Martian asks carefully.
"Duh, who else?"
"Oh. Well, thank you." She offers, a little dumbfounded but Spider doesn't seem to notice.
"How?" Spider blinks at Robin, who's been silently gawking at them as they approach.
"What do you mean, 'how'? I just threw it. "
Robin sputters at them, left eye twitching under his mask as he watches them stretch their arms out over their head with no care in the world.
"That's not- that's impossible?"
"Nuh, uh! Just grab, do a couple spins to get some speed and let go- works pretty well."
"I don't believe you."
"Why not?! I'm plenty strong!"
Safe to say that Robin made them perform a couple of strength tests when they got back to the cave, and now Robin's worried Spider might not be aware of the fact that most people can't just throw around cement trucks.

"maybe this time, love won't end."
. . . ACT I. "Logged Out" ÊÉ pairing: kinich x gn!reader
oh archons, the nerves have never been wrecking so much before.
he was in front of your residence, and the place feels all too familiar. it was definitely a different location, but the taste in decoration screamed you. ah, this felt so surreal, he thought.
taking in deep breaths, he knocked on the wooden door. the doorknob starts to unlock, opening the door and...
"hello, how can i help you?"
oh. that sweet, velvety voice. the one he missed so much.
he couldn't believe his eyes, it really was you. the same person who changed the trajectory of his life and gave it meaning. his star, moon, sun, and everything. the one who made him feel like a lovesick fool, but he'll never regret being one. the jewel that no mora he earns will ever buy. his-
"um, if you're just going to gape at me, then i'm shutting the door." you say with an annoyed look on your face.
"i'm sorry?" he blurts out. okay, that was a mistake, but he's genuinely confused -- were you joking at him?
"uh, excuse me? do you expect me to just let you in? i'm not expecting visitors at the moment, so go leave or else i call someone-"
"ah wait! i'm..." he tries finding a good excuse to stay. suddenly, he remembers the other reason why he's here. "i'm the one for your commission. yeah."
your face then lights up, demeanor going from irritated to overjoyed. "oh then why didn't you say so! gosh, and here i was thinking on methods to get rid of you as soon as possible!"
he then gets hugged by you, the same warmth he used to bask himself in, but right now, it felt... strange. the warmth wasn't the same as before.
you then let go of him, with a cheery grin. "i'm y/n l/n. your name?"
what?
"...kinich. 'malipo' kinich." he responds, a wave of disappointment washing him over.
"great! so, the last time i saw my yumkasaur..." your voice suddenly starts to slowly disperse, words breaking down into inaudible mumbles as if he shut down every sound around him.
you didn't remember him.
àšà§
"my baby!"
you run up to your yumkasaur who ziplines to you, happy to see you after such a long time. kinich watches the scene unfold at him, unsure on how to feel.
the entire time, you were behaved like the same person he loved so much before. the same old yapper who pulled his heartstrings like their life was on the line. except... you acted as if you didn't know him.
"how have you been?" kinich breaks the ice as you two head over the place you say your yumkasaur was last seen.
"that's quite the question for someone you just met... but i guess i've been pretty lonely? after all, pipo has been away from me for so long."
and since then, you continued talking about pipo and the conversation longed on as if you were just getting to know each other.
perhaps for you it was like that, even if he couldn't believe it, but to him, he knew every single thing about you.
however, for some reason, it feels as if his knowledge of you was just useless now.
"thank you for finding pipo for me, i don't know what i would've done," you cry while hugging kinich, who didn't know if he wanted to hug back or just distance himself. "um, as for the compensation..."
"nevermind that," he cuts you off.
your eyes widen in shock. "what? no! i need to pay you. i'll feel guilty my entire life if i just take this for free -- take it!" you hand him a bag of mora, but he shakes his head.
"just... compensate me by being with me. i'll never ask for anything more again," he says in a low whisper, but loud enough for you to hear.
you tilt your head, but nod. "okay then, let's be friends!"
oh, that took a deep cut. you've really forgotten about him.
he took a deep sigh, and nodded back. "friends, then."
well, it's better than being nothing with you.

Anyway, only accepting 10 more people to be tagged
Buckle up! This is a long one!!!!!!!!
(My god, Susie is so fucking pretty that I might actually cry)
In the now packed-up house, Y/n gazed around. "Are you all packed up?" Her brother asked as he crossed his arms next to her. Chan sighed, "I'm going to miss coming over to your house and hanging out," he said, looking around the house. With a soft smile that showed off her sharp teeth, Y/n looked at her brother, "He'll miss popping by my house during random times when the homeless orphans don't have work to do and mooching off me until he needs to go home to Korea." Y/n teased, pinching his freckled cheeks.
Chan giggled at Felix's expression and looked away, clearing his throat when Felix's glare turned to him. The long-haired male slapped his sister's hand away gently and tried to keep his scowl before giving up and breaking out into smiles as laughs filled the room. "For real though, I am going to miss you." Felix said, opening his arms for Y/n to enter, "Aw, I'm going to miss you too, but you can come visit me anytime you want in Monaco." Y/n offered, pulling back.
"You too, Channie. You and the rest of the derelict unparented are free to come visit me in Monaco when you want." Y/n said, opening her arms up to the shorter male. "Why does this feel like I'm sending my little sister off?" Chan asked, gladly accepting the hug that was offered, "You are basically family, mate." Felix assured, wrapping his arms around both his sister and his best friend. The group continued to hug until there was a loud honk heard in front of the house, "Well, I guess we should get this stuff into the truck." Y/n said, letting go of the two singers to grab one of the nearest boxes.
Y/n lugged the box to the truck where a mover stood, ready to grab the box from her hands and put it in the truck, "I'll take that, sir." The worker offered. Y/n froze and stared at the mover, "Excuse me?" Y/n asked, "Oh? Did I say something wrong?" The worker questioned, looking at Y/n with a raised eyebrow, "I am not a man. Please don't assume because I have masculine features." Y/n said, steeling her nerves. Y/n wasn't a confrontational person, but over the years, resentment had built up enough for her to tell someone off when they called her a man.
Her boobs were prominent enough for people to know that she wasn't a man and she was wearing a sports bra with flannel, how the hell did the man assume she was one as well? "I'm sorry, I didn't know--" "I think you did know, but it's whatever. Don't do it again." Y/n huffed, turning around and walking away.
Y/n entered the home again and grabbed a box aggressively, huffing dramatically. Felix and Chan shared looks before putting the boxes they had in their possession down, "Hey, what's wrong?" Chan questioned.
Y/n shook her head, taking deep breaths to calm herself down. She sometimes felt like it was irrational of her to get so upset by someone assuming she was a man, but at the same time, anyone would get upset by being called the wrong gender.
Y/n squared her shoulders and picked up another box before turning to look at the two with a smile, "It's nothing, mate. Just a bit of an annoyance." Y/n then turned and walked out with the box in her hands.
The trio made their way back and forth until all the boxes were in the truck. Now, they stood on the lawn watching as the movers grabbed the furniture and loaded it onto the truck, "Y'know, we're actually going to miss you." Chan spoke up, continuing to watch the movers work. "I know. That's why I said you're free to visit me in Monaco. I'll also try to visit you and in Seoul whenever I can." Y/n assured, throwing her arms around each of the boy's shoulders and giving them an awkward side hug.
"We know. We'll try to visit when we can too." Felix said, laying his head on her arm with Changbin following suit, "We're done, ma'am. We'll be taking this to the sea freight now unless there is something else you need." The mover looked at the tall half-Asian with a pointed look, asking if there was anything she needed or if were they good.
"You're good to go. Thank you." Y/n said, nodding at the mover. The trio watched as the movers packed up and drove away, "What time do you leave?" Felix asked after a few moments of silence, "Three o'clock in the morning. Seeing as my insomnia is so bad that I can't fall asleep, I'll probably be up and out by two. Do you mind dropping my keys off at the realtor office safe drop box? I won't be able to do it since I leave at three." Y/n said.
"Yeah, we can do that. We'll be dropping you off anyway." Chan nodded, shoving his hands into his pockets.
â đđđđđđđ đđđĄđ... ââ đđđđđđđ đđđĄđ... â
"Yah, wake up. It's two." Felix hissed as if there were others in the house.
Y/n groaned and swatted Felix's hands away before turning onto her side and snuggling into the blankets, "Y/n, it's time to wake up." Chan said, joining Felix at the side of the hotel bed Y/n was sleeping in. The two put their hands on her and looked at each other, nodding before violently shaking Y/n back and forth.
"æä»äčéŹŒ?!" Y/n yelled in Chinese after being woken up so violently, turning to stare at her brothers with wide eyes, "Sorry, you wouldn't wake up, so we decided to shake you until you woke up." Chan snickered, signing as he spoke, looking away as Y/n glared at him and Felix.Â
Y/n sighed and threw the blankets off of her body, "Jesus, dude. You could've kept trying to wake me up gently." The dark-haired woman scowled, reaching over to grab the external part of her cochlear implant and the hearing aid for her other ear. Felix grabbed the hearing aid and helped her put it into her ear, "When are you getting your other cochlear?" Felix questioned, making sure the volume was on the level Y/n always kept it on.
"I get the second implant after I start my new job. I'll have to tell the boss about it as soon I do the interview. Especially since I forgot to tell her about my lack of hearing." Y/n mumbled, looking at Chan and Felix from the side since she knew that they would be giving her judgy looks.
Y/n turned to see that they were indeed giving her disappointed looks as if she wasn't taller than Chan, older than Felix, and more intimidating than the both of them combined. "Stop looking at me like that! I was trying to get the application in as fast as I could. I simply just...forgot to put it on my application." Y/n explained, looking down and scratching her cheek. When she looked back up, they were still looking at her with disappointment, "Stop looking at me like you're my parents and I just got caught smoking a fat one....or something cause I wouldn't know how they would look at me." Y/n quickly added the second part and gave the two boys a awkward smile.
Felix and Chan sighed in unison, "Okay, well, I guess we can't really be that upset with you since you'll be telling her face-to-face. Get up and get ready. Felix picked out some clothes for you to wear." Chan said, pointing to the end of the bed where some clothes were laid out for her, Y/n sighed, running a hand through her thick hair, "Okay, whatever. Please move out of the way."Â
Chan stepped back as Y/n swung her long legs over the side of the bed and planted her feet onto the floor, grabbing the clothes and studying them before going to the bathroom to get changed while Felix and Chan checked to make sure that everything was properly packed. Y/n exited the bathroom wearing a pair of high waisted brown trousers, a white collared button down with a brown, beige and white sweater vest one top.
Y/n sat down on the bed and picked up the socks that were sitting on the bed, putting them on while Felix and Chan continued to talk, "Y/n, do you want to get some McDonald's on the way or something?" Felix asked.
"I just want a coffee and a bagel honestly. We can get something from the bagel shop nearby. I heard they have some good bagels and coffee." Y/n suggested, putting on her boots and grabbing the glasses that were on the nightstand next to the bed. "I'm down." Chan said, looking to Felix, "I'm okay with that." The blonde shrugged, grabbing Y/n's suitcase and pulling it out into the hallway.
Y/n stood up and looked around, making sure that she had left nothing on the ground
â đđđđđđđ đđđĄđ... ââ đđđđđđđ đđđĄđ... â
Y/n turned and looked at her brother as she got ready to board the plane, "Okay, so you'll call when you've landed in Monaco, right?" Felix inquired, holding her wrists lightly. Y/n rolled her eyes and chuckled, "I promise that I'll call you as soon as I get to my new home in Monaco. Don't worry about me. Just make sure that you take care of yourself. All of you." Y/n gave a pointed look at Chan.
"What? Why'd you look at me like that?" Chan chuckled nervously, "I'm telling you to take care of yourself. You tend not to do that." Y/n joked, looking him in the side. Chan jumped away as if he was shocked and held his side, "No promises, but I'll try."
"Flight 35 A is now boarding."
Y/n looked over at where people were beginning to line up, "Alright, it seems I've got to go." The girl pointed behind her with a thumb. Felix pulled his sister into a hug and laid his head on her shoulder, "You better call me when you land. I'll fly to Monaco myself if you don't." He said voice muffled into her sweater vest.
"Okay, let go. I have to board." Y/n groaned, pushing the blonde away from her playfully, "See you, Y/n." Chan said, giving the girl a quick hug. Y/n grabbed her carry-on and boarded the plane, "Make sure the other Stray Animals are around when I call. I want to talk to all of you." Y/n spoke.
After a long flight, of which she slept through most, she hopped off the flight feeling groggy and completely disoriented. To be quite honest, she just wanted to go to sleep in a bed with thick blankets and the fan blasting on her face so she didn't overheat while sleeping. The thing was, she wouldn't be able to meet up with the person who sold her the house until the next day because the offices were closed and her stuff wouldn't arrive until the next day either, so she had to get a hotel for the night.
Y/n groaned as she rolled her neck, attempting to massage the stiffness out of her shoulder and neck as she entered the Uber, "Uh, HĂŽtel Fairmont Monte Carlo, s'il vous plaĂźt." Y/n spoke in a tired and dull tone.
The driver nodded and pulled off. Y/n pulled out her phone and pressed on the contact of the one person she knew would be up. It was 9:41 PM in Monaco, which meant it was 4:41 AM in Seoul currently and there was one person she could guarantee would be up at that time.
Chan.
Y/n pulled out a pair of headphones with a large-diameter ear cup that completely encloses her ear and audio processor and put them on. Y/n looked out the window while the phone rang, "Hey! You're in Monaco, I'm guessing." Chan said as his face popped up on the screen. "Yeah, I'm in an Uber right now. I'm heading to the hotel." Y/n mumbled, mouth stretching into a little yawn.
"Oh, yeah. Your stuff isn't there yet, is it?" Chan asked, looking at something off to the side, "No, it'll be arriving tomorrow afternoon. I'll be contacting Mrs. Wolff tomorrow as well to schedule the interview. The jet lag was going to be a bitch." Y/n sighed, leaning against the window. "Yeah, it is. What time is it there?" Chan questioned, "It's, uh, 9:43 PM." Y/n answered, dragging her eyes away from the fogged-up window to the face on her phone.
"Have you eaten?" Chan questioned, "No, not yet. Have you?" Y/n raised an eyebrow. "Yeah, I ate some ramen earlier. I'm just snacking on some honey butter chips right now." Chan responded, lifting the yellow bag to the screen.
Y/n opened her mouth to say something, but she was interrupted by the driver, "Madame, nous sommes arrivés à votre destination."
Y/n looked out the window and saw they were indeed in front of the luxury hotel, "D'accord, merci, monsieur. Je vous souhaite une excellente soirée. Sorry, Chan. I have to go. Tell Lixie and the others to text me when they can." Y/n said, exiting the car.
"Okay, I will. Have a good night." Chan said, "Have a good day, mate." Y/n said before hanging up. Y/n pocketed her phone and grabbed her items from the trunk. She waved at the driver in thanks and made her way into the hotel. It was a random one that she picked out and it was probably way too luxurious for a one-night stay, but it was the closest to where her new home would be and she was way too tired to find an even cheaper hotel.
She checked in and paid for the room, trudging up the stairs in a slumped-over position. As soon as she found her room, she stood up and unlocked it as if she was being followed by someone and had to enter quickly. Y/n threw the door open and closed, dropping her bags where she stood before making her way to the bed and getting in
Y/n woke up the next day and immediately ordered an Uber. Her items would be arriving today and she already slept in pretty late. Y/n's dark brown eyes swept the room until they landed on the digital clock on the dresser. It was 2:52 PM. The truck with her stuff would be there around four and the realtor would be there around 3:00, so she had to get going pretty quickly. Luckily, her Uber was on its way and she would be at her new address in no time.
Honk!
Y/n's head snapped up once she had heard the honking of the horn. She could only assume that they were there for her and the chime from her phone telling her that her ride has arrived only confirmed her suspicion. Y/n quickly gathered her items and sped and walked out of the front of the building with her hand up in a wave to show that it was her who had ordered the Uber. Y/n pulled up the trunk after the driver had opened it from the inside of the car.
Y/n put her suitcase and carry-on bag into the trunk and closed it, rushing to get to the backseat and get into the car. "Bonjour, Monsieur. Monaco, La Condamine, 98000 Monaco, s'il vous plaĂźt." Y/n said breathily, pulling her phone out of the bag she had and opening the notes app. Seeing as she would have to move all of her stuff in, of course with the help of the moving pros, and there were some other things she needed to do through the day, she decided that it would be a good idea to make a to-do list.
To do for today and tomorrow
Move my stuff into the house
Rearrange everything to my liking
Unpack everything
Go grocery shopping
Call Mrs. Wolff back
Y/n reread the list over and over to see if anything else came to mind, but when nothing did, she pocketed her phone again and stared out the window. Monaco was a truly gorgeous place and she could see herself living out the rest of her life in this beautiful country.
She could definitely see herself finding a man or woman, who would most definitely be an F1 fan seeing as the country basically lived and breathed F1, finding a much better home, settling down, and having a family.
It wasn't something she wanted anytime soon since she was still pretty young, but it was something she could see happening when she was ready.
Actually, now that Y/n thought about it, and as the car passed by the water, she doesn't think any house, which was actually one of those apartments where you have a whole floor to yourself, would be better than the one she got. It cost an arm and a leg to get and she would be able to afford it after she finally started the PA position.
The flat included three bedrooms, one bathroom, two shower rooms, one separate toilet and a kitchen. In total, it has four rooms. Two underground parking spaces provide space for any vehicles and a balcony that overlooked the water. It that high street, city center, bus station, and shopping center all within 500 m, so it was well situated.
Y/n sighed and closed her eyes. This was the start of her new life. While she was is Monaco, she was going to be a different person then what she was in Australia. Gone is the shy, antisocial, introverted girl that lived in Sydney and in is the girl who is still the same thing, but trying to be more confident.
"Pardonnez-moi, madame. Nous sommes arrivés." The driver announced, "Hm? Oh, merci beaucoup." Y/n thanked as she exited the car. She waited until the driver popped the trunk and then grabbed her things, "Merci encore, madame. J'espÚre que vous passerez une excellente soirée."
The driver gave Y/n a smile, "C'est trÚs gentil de votre part. J'espÚre que vous passerez également une excellente soirée." She responded before driving off, giving Y/n a wave as she drove off.
"Miss Lee?" A voice with a thick accent called out from behind her. Y/n whirled around to face a tall man with dark, curly hair, a chisled jaw, and broad shoulders. It was the realtor, "Ah, Mr. Tomatis. How are you doing today?" Y/n greeted, looking to the side so she didn't make eye contact. "I am well. Listen, I would love to stay and talk with you, but I have an important showing to do, so here's your keys. Enjoy your new home." Mr. Tomatis gently place the keys into her hands before walking off.
"Oh-kay. Guess it's time to check out the new place in person." Y/n took a deep breath, trilling as she exhaled. The girl made her way into the building until she reached her floor. Y/n put the key into the door and unlocked it, "Home sweet home, I guess. Once I step through this door, my new life officially starts." Y/n mumbled, resting her forehead against the cool wood. Y/n opened the door and wheeled her suitcase in behind her, "Woah, this is sick!" Y/n awed, looking around her home.
She left the suitcase and carry-on near the entrance and walked around, looking through each room and mentally mapping what went into each room and how she would lay everything out.
Once she was done with her mental mapping, her hands fell to her sides and she looked around with a flat face and eyes dulled due to boredom.
She didn't know what to do now.
The truck wouldn't be there until four and it was only... Y/n looked down at the screen of her phone, which displayed the time in a large blue font...3:12.
Suddenly, an idea popped into Y/n's head. She had to schedule the interview and was advised to do so once she was settled down enough, but since she had time to waste, why not do it now? Y/n opened her contacts and pressed on Susie's, making sure it was on speaker, "Hello?" The sweet Irish voice that Y/n had heard last time, answered the phone.
"Uh, yes. It's Y/n Lee. I'm calling to set up my interview for the PA position." Y/n stammered, "Oh, Ms. Lee! I've been expecting your call back. I assume that means you're in Monaco?" Susie asked, "Yeah, uh, yes...ma'am." Y/n confirmed, nodding as of the woman on the other line could see her.
"Great, I know that you're going to need some time to settle down completely, so the interview will not be taking place any time this week. How about the next week around 10:00 AM? What day works for you?" Susie questioned, "I can do next week. How about Wednesday?" Y/n pulled out a pen and pad of paper to write down the date and time. "Wednesday works perfectly. Alright, I will e you then." Susie said.
"See you then." Y/n confirmed before pressing the 'end call' button. Just as Y/n put her phone on the counter, she got another call but this time from the company that had her stuff, telling her that they had arrived early and were ready to move her stuff in.
Y/n ran out the front door and down the stairs to see that they had indeed arrived earlier than planned and were already beginning to unload the lighter stuff, "Hey, I didn't expect you to be so early. Please, follow me and I'll show you where my apartment is." Y/n said, grabbing a box and leading the way to her floor.
After showing the movers where she was, Y/n went back down to grab another, but before she could make it too far, someone stopped her. "Hey, I couldn't help but notice you're moving in. Do you want some help?" A tall slender man with dark hair and dark eyes. The man in front of her was the very definition of tall, dark, and handsome and Y/n was the definition of awkward around pretty people.
Y/n opened her mouth to decline, probably stutter through the sentence before falling too embarrassed to continue speaking, when another voice spoke up. "Babe, what are you doing? Who's this?" A woman who absolutely gorgeous saddeled herself next to the man, looking up at Y/n with a raised, perfectly sculpted, eyebrow. "I-uh..." Y/n's eyes darted around frantically, trying to find any way out of the situation.
She knew she said she was going to be a totally different person than she was in Australia, but she had the worst night of sleep where her body got too hot with the blankets, too cold with the fan, and still too hot with both. She also kept waking up randomly during the night, feeling dizzy and disoriented. She also may be up and doing things, but she was severely jet lagged and wanted to do nothing, but drop dead on the floor and sleep until she could physically no longer sleep.
Y/n was going to be quite honest, she could use the help and it would make things go a lot faster, but how was she, a socially awkward person, to talk to two very pretty people?Â
Answer; she didn't.
She walked past them with a quick 'excuse me' pretending like she didn't hear them. If they got upset with her, she'll just say her hearing aids weren't on or turned up enough for her to hear that they were speaking to her. "Wait! Ma'am, hold on." The man called out, following Y/n outside and grabbing her wrist gently, stopping her in her tracks. Y/n steeled herself and whirled around with a fake smile, "Oh, sorry. Can I, uh, can I help you?" Y/n asked, eyes darting between the man, who was giving her a smile, and the woman, who was scowling at her with her arms crossed.
"Yes, you can help us. My boyfriend asked you a question and you just walked past us as if you didn't hear. Are you deaf or something?" The girl sneered.
"Yes."
"Pa-pardon?" The girl asked, dropping her arms, Y/n turned her head to the side, showing the couple her cochlear and the the hearing aid, "I-I am in fact...deaf." Y/n muttered, turning to go get more boxes. Behind her she could hear the flustered man scolding his girlfriend while she stammered out flustered responses,Â
"How could you-?!"
"I..I didn't know, okay? Hop off my balls."
"Woman, what balls would I be hopping off of?"
"I... You... Just shut up! We should be helping anyway."
The two stopped their flustered play fighting as Y/n walked past. They both grabbed boxes and followed her, "Hey, we are so sorry." The man spoke up, speed walking so he was next to Y/n, "Especially me. I didn't know you were actually deaf and even if you weren't, I wasn't being the nicest. It's just, and this isn't an excuse, there have been some... how do I say this?" The girl asked, looking up.
"Issues." The man supplied, the woman snapped her fingers and pointed at her boyfriend before quickly putting her hand back under the box as it began to tip over in her hands, "Issues. We have had some issues with our last neighbours and it made me sort of defensive. Sorry about that. My name Chiara Lorenzi and this is my boyfriend..." Chiara trailed off so that he could speak for himself.
"Aaron Antognelli. And you are?" Aaron asked, depositing the box on the floor of Y/n's apartment, "Y/n Lee." Y/n answered. "It's nice to meet you, Y/n. I hope we get to become very good friends in the near future." Chiara said, nudging the taller girl as she and Aaron walked out to grab more boxes.
With the extra two sets of hands, Y/n and the movers were able to get everything inside quickly and it was a good thing too since the sky began to dark with thick rain clouds. "Um, thank you for your help." Y/n muttered, going into her house and beginning to close the door when a hand appeared between the door and the frame, keeping her from closing it fully, "Hold on there, kangaroo. Don't you want help unpacking?" Aaron asked.
"Oh, no. I couldn't ask for that. You have done quite a bit a-and I don't know you well enough." Y/n frantically shook her head. The couple shared a look before turning back to Y/n, "Please, we... I insist. We want to make up for the rocky way we greeted you. Of course, we won't force you to and if you don't want us to help you, we'll leave." Chiara said.
Y/n sighed and nodded, opening the door fully to let the couple in. She didn't know them or trust them, but she also needed all the help she could get. That, and she was shit at decorating, so it would be nice to enlist the help of someone else.
Chiara and Aaron looked around, "Why does your apartment look so much better than ours?" Aaron asked, "I thought they were all the same." Y/n said, looking at her spacious place. "Nah, yours has much more space, but it could be the fact that you're living alone that makes it seem that way." Aaron shrugged.
Chiara whirled around and clapped her hands together, "Alright, let's get this done."
With a yelp, Y/n fell out of her bed as the alarm she had set on her phone blared in her ear that contained the hearing aid. She had so much fun with Aaron and Chiara the previous night that she ended up going to be later than she usually liked to whenever she had something important to do the next day. After the day they helped her unpack, the two quickly became friends Y/n and they had been hanging out with each other ever since.
Y/n groaned and hobbled over to a cabinet near her bed where she kept her medicine, "Shit, getting drunk the day before my interview was not smart." Y/n grumbled, opening a bottle of pills and a bottle of water from her mini fridge.
Y/n gathered her clothing and put it on the end of the bed then went and took a scalding hot shower that helped her sober up. Y/n gave a quiet groan as she messaged her shoulders, "Man, my shoulders are stiff." She complained.
Stepping out of the shower, Y/n put on her outfit, which consisted of wool wide-leg pants, a skims t-shirt bodysuit, a nocturne cropped jacket, and a pair of heeled patchwork boots. Looking in the mirror, Y/n narrowed her eyes, "Hmm, wait." Y/n looked around to the clothes she had thrown everywhere when looking for a good outfit.
Her room was covered in an explosion of beige, brown, white, and black. There was not a lick of color in any of her wardrobe, save for her shoes, which were still not brightly colored, so they still fit her aesthetic. "I need to add some color to my wardrobe." Y/n muttered, before grabbing her things and making her way down to where the Uber was waiting for her.
She gave the driver the address of a café that Susie had suggested, Café de Paris, and off they went. Y/n's heart thudded so hard in her chest that she was pretty sure that the beat was coming from her stomach rather than her chest. Y/n ran a hand through her long, messy hair and tried to calm the nervous feeling in her stomach.
The driver looked at Y/n through the rear mirror and cleared his throat, "Nerveux? Vous avez un rendez-vous ou une raison de vous énerver?" He asked, causing Y/n to jump from the sudden addressing. "Euh, oui. J'ai un entretien trÚs important. J'ai déjà obtenu le poste, mais je suis encore nerveux." Y/n answered shakily, wringing her hands together nervously.
The driver studied Y/n through the mirror before turning his eyes back to the road, "Eh, don't be nervous. It must be just a 'get to know you' interview." The driver said, switching to English and waving a hand to the side as if he was brushing Y/n's nervousness away.
"You're right. Merci, Monsieur." Y/n sighed, leaning back against the headrest. The rest of the car ride was spent in silence.
â đđđđđđđ đđđĄđ... ââ đđđđđđđ đđđĄđ... â
Susie sat at a table in Café de Paris, occasionally looking at her watch as she waited for Y/n to arrive. Admittedly, she had arrived a bit too early, but she was excited. She had been looking forward to finally starting the F1 academy and with Y/n working by her side, she'd make these girls into Formula One champions.
Susie continued looking out the window for Y/n, even though she has no idea what Y/n looked like at all. Y/n walked through the door and approached Susie from behind, "Mrs. Wolff?" Y/n spoke up, causing the blonde woman to jump up. As soon as they were face-to-face, both women froze.
Now, Y/n was open about her sexuality and what she liked, but Susie wasn't. Susie had never been interested in women and she wasn't one who would ever fall in love when she already had a husband and a beautiful son, but Susie's heart raced looking at the younger woman and she couldn't understand why. Susie had no problem admitting when another woman is beautiful and the one in front of her? Well, she was drop dead gorgeous in Susie's eyes.
"Ah, Ms. Lee. You startled me." Susie chuckled, putting a hand on her chest to calm her racing heart. Whether it was racing because of Y/n's beauty or because she genuinely got startled, she didn't know. Either way, the woman in front of her made her heart race. "My apologies, Mrs. Wolff. I didn't mean to scare you." Y/n apologized, giving the older woman a shallow bow instinctively.
"Shall we sit and begin?" Susie asked, gesturing to the chair. Y/n nodded and sat down across from the older woman. "Okay, remember that you already have the job. This is just to get to know you a bit more. Do you want to order something or do you just want to start?" Susie questioned.
"I would like to order something." Y/n muttered, Susie gestured to someone and a waiter came over, "Are you ladies ready to order?" The waiter asked politely. "Yes, I would like a chocolate chaud and panna cotta parfumeé au citron." Susie told the waiter who wrote it down before turning to Y/n, "I would like Le Chou Profiterole and the Irish coffee. Please." Y/n said.
Once the waiter finished writing down their orders and left, Susie turned back to Y/n with a smile that made Y/n want to throw herself off a cliff. She was so pretty and Y/n didn't think Susie knew just how gorgeous she was.
"Okay, let's start while we're waiting for our orders. Can you tell me about yourself?" Susie questioned, "Oh okay, um... I'm Y/n Lee, I am half Chinese and Half Australian, I am 23 years old, I want to do modeling in my spare time, I like surfing and skiing, and I used to be a Formula Two driver before I contracted meningitis and had to stop." Y/n replied.
"You contracted meningitis?" Susie asked, "I did. I lost hearing in my right ear," Y/n turned her head and moved her hair, showing her cochlear, "I had to get a cochlear for my right ear and I have a hearing aid in my left because I'm losing my hearing in that ear. After I got my surgery, I just decided not to continue driving even though I would love to continue." Y/n shrugged.
Susie nodded, "If you had the chance, would you try and continue to drive in F2?" Susie questioned. Y/n sighed and looked around the café, "I honestly never thought about it. I wanted to but I didn't have enough money to continue, so I thought that my chances were over. If I had the chance to do it again, I don't know if I would take it. I'm turning 23 soon and I fell like I'm getting too old." Y/n said, looking up as the waiter arrived with their stuff.
"Thank you/Merci." Susie and Y/n said simultaneously. Y/n brought the glass mug up to her lips and took a sip of the drink. Y/n put the mug down and looked at Susie again, "What are your goals for the next five years?" Susie asked.
"Hmm, I think I still see myself working in the motorsports world or perhaps attempting to further my modeling career. Or both." Y/n answered, picking up one of the cream puff and taking a bite, refraining from making any sort of noise.Â
"Do you consider yourself a passionate person when it comes to this sport?" Susie inquired, Y/n nodded as she swallowed the pastry in her mouth, "I was..am...Before I got meningitis, I was obsessed with being a Formula One driver. I was about as passionate about it like most of the guys on the grid. It was my passion." Y/n explained.
Susie nodded and sat back in her chair, "That'll be all." She said, picking up her spoon and eating some of her panna cotta parfumeĂ© au citron. Y/n paused halfway from the plate where she was reaching for another mini creampuff, "That's all?" She asked, "That's all." Susie reiteratedÂ
"Okay." Y/n nodded. She was honestly so unsure as to why she needed to do the interview when she was only going to be asked about four questions, "Now, let's get to know each other since we're going to be working closely together. My name is Suzanne Wolff, but you can call me Susie. I am Scottish, 39 years old, I have a wonderful husband who is the team principal of Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS Formula One team, and I have a gorgeous fiver-year-old son named Jack." Susie introduced herself.
The woman held out a hand for Y/n to shake, "It's wonderful to meet you, Mrs. Wolff. I look forward to working with you." Y/n said, grabbing the older woman's hand and shaking it firmly. Susie waved off her formalities, "Oh, please. Call me Susie. We'll be working close together, so we might as well drop the formalities." She chuckled.
The two women continued to talk about random topics, getting to know each other more and more. The two became quick friends and even made plans to hang outside of work sometime in the future and even talked about Y/n meeting her son and husband since she would have to meet them eventually.
By the time Y/n was in her Uber and on her way home, it was well into the afternoon and Y/n had a small permanent smile on her face as she thought about the older woman.
Y/n hated to admit it, but she tended to catch feelings for people quite easily. She didn't and never would believe in love at first sight, but she did believe that one can get to know someone well enough to gain some sort of feelings for someone.Â
And Y/n could tell that the bubbling feeling in her stomach was her feeling giddy and anxious. She was beginning to feel something for the older married woman, but she brushed it off. It was just a small puppy crush, and even if it wasn't, nothing would ever come of it. Susie was a heterosexual married woman with a family and if there was one thing Y/n could never be, it was a homewrecker.
Susie entered her home happily. Her husband and son greeting her at the entrance, "Hello, liebling. How was the interview? I can assume it went well since you're smiling from ear to ear." Toto said, kissing his wife on the forehead. "She's perfect, Toto. She is everything I wanted and more in a personal assistant. Not to mention she's absolutely gorgeous. If she were to go to a GP, people would assume she is some sort of supermodel WAG." Susie said absentmindedly.
Toto gave his wife an odd look as she bent down to greet their five-year-old. His wife was what some people would call a girl's girl and she definitely has complimented other women before, but the way she had talked about the woman she had met with made him feel curious. She had never sounded so infatuated with anyone other than him and Jack.
Of course, Toto knew that his wife was not going to cheat on him and especially not with another woman, but there was just a feeling in his gut that said there was something more than just a regular excitement to be getting the F1 Academy project off the ground.Â
"Yeah? Is that right?" Toto asked, "Yes. She used to be a F2 driver too, so she is the most perfect candidate for the job. I think you and Jackie would lover her." Susie said, kissing the top of Jack's head and carrying him into the kitchen.
Toto shook his head as he chuckled. He didn't know what the woman was like, but she must have been super amazing because she left such an impression on his wife that she was positively gushing about the new PA.
By the time Susie stopped talking about the new PA, Toto himself couldn't wait to meet her and he was now sharing the excitement that she was practically projecting off her in waves.
This was the start of something new and both Wolff's could tell.

⥠Imagine Al-Haitham has enough of your whimpers âĄ
!â warnings: gn!reader, anal, slight exhibition, getting caught, dom!al-haitam, very smut, NSFWđ no minors or Iâll eat u alive
notes: ngl, this was super fun to write, i do remember i had to tag someone for this one, but idk who it was again đđđ forgive me, my child
+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+
Al-Haitham's hand covering your mouth fully, while he slightly angry pushes you against the book shelf in the Akademiya. Both of you were behind good cover unless someone comes across the corner to encounter a spicy scene. "Do not make any sound, understood?" He says quietly but loud enough into one ear of you, starting a tingling sensation all over your body. Making your legs shiver and weak. You of course could only nod. "You teased me the whole day more than enough."
That was true. Since you only came to the library of the Akademiya to gather some information about your studies, you end up teasing Al-Haitham. You pretended to let something fall so you could bend over seductively to show him your pretty ass. Giggling like a little brat. As if that wasn't enough, you also sneaked down under his desk to kiss and caress his crotch. Of course, after his meeting with Cyno, you run off to the library. And now he caught you, having enough of your games.
Reaching down to your panties, he presses his clothed member against your ass. "This is what you done to me... I don't want to hear anything coming out from you." It was clear for you, but moving was still allowed. So did you press your ass further to his harden length, grinding up and down. Al-Haitham accidentally let slip a quite moan out of his mouth, before biting down on you shoulder. You've heated him enough to just get rough fucked anywhere by him.
His hands now reached behind your panties, caressing you sweetly. He let go of his bite and kissed on it. The other hand still on your mouth, squeezing it shut. After a while he moved his exploring hand to his pants. He just opened a little hole which allowed his member to be free. He let a relieved sigh out and put down your pants. For your surprise he let go of your mouth, before pushing his fingers inside your wet mouth. "Come on, make them nice wet." You nod with a cute little moan before he took his wet finger down to your ass, preparing you for himself.
Adding at first one finger, wanting you to adjust to the feeling, before adding his second one inside of you. Moving unbearable slowly inside of you, making you whimper. Even now he can not shut you down, which lets him push you harder against the shelf. Good thing, the shelf was behind a wall or else it would fall down. âShut up⊠I am not done with you.â You shut your eyes in fear not to be pleased how you liked it from Al-Haitam. But as soon as you relax and try not to moan out his name, he slowly pushes himself inside you. âFuck⊠so tightâŠâ, he said, clearly you werenât ready yet to be pushed inside but he did not cared. It hurted for you and he noticed it. He lets go of his hands on your mouth and caresses your back. âItâs okay, try to relax⊠I will make this fast.â As soon as his warm hands massage your back a bit, you start to relax and let his size adjust inside of you. You let out a sigh before saying: âO-okay, you can move now~â With a soft smile you looked behind you, straight to his face. Knowing well that he will right away move his hips, groaning lowly. The way his dick now moves out and then fully inside your ass was a very pleasant show to look at. It felt amazing for him and slowly for you too. It took some more thrust until you felt him brush over your g-spot, making you gasp. âR-right there~â You started to get louder and moaned a bit. But he immediately put his hand again on your mouth, pushing himself deeper inside you, while not stopping grinding. âShut up, we arenât alone here. Or is it your intention to let people know how much of a whore you are?â Your eyes rolled back of the thoughts someone might catch you having sex with Al-Haitam. It made your legs weaker with every push inside of you, your hands trying to hold on the shelf but slipping away. Causing a book to fall down, but Al-Haitam was focused to fuck your ass. Neither of you guys stopped your movements, both too focused on the pleasure. But someone noticed what you both were doing. It wasnât his intention to see his college fucking one of the Akademiya dearest student, neither was his intention to watch you guys.
Al-Haitam was close to filling you up, so he let go of your mouth causing you to breathe loud and tried to hold your moan inside. Even though Al-Haitam told you to shut up, he was into the good feeling sunken and started to get sloppier with each hard thrust into you. Letting you shiver again, feeling your own orgasm build up too. âF-fuck, take everythingâŠ!â He breathes out through his teeths while spurting his seeds inside you. Your tongue was out, eyes behind your back, not wanting to moan out. As soon as Al-Haitamâs breath calmed down, he slipped out of you. His dick half hard, but soon getting soft. Perfect to go back to work.Â
A loud cough caught you and Al-Haitam to heat up, looking at the person standing with crossing arms in front of you guys. âBoth of you are banned from the library for two weeks. This is still a public place.â, Cyno said, putting back the book which dropped down earlier.

Reverse Trope Series - Too Many Beds (Teaser)
You shared 25 years of your life with Seunghceol, what was another 4 nights right?
Pairing - Choi Seungcheol x reader
Word Count - 488 for the teaser ( The full fic is around 11k, give or take? It was supposed to be below 2K, I fucked up)
Genre - Enemies to lovers? Frenemies to lovers? Lovers to lovers? Idk man, these two are idiots and I love making them pine hehe
Warnings - none for the teaser, maybe an reference to Seungcheol's dick
Estimated posting date - 6th July, 5pm KST (I don't have a taglist but I am happy to tag if anyone wants? Just drop comment or send an ask/message :)
Edit - It's out! Read here :)
âAbsolutely not.âÂ
âNo way in hell.âÂ
Seungcheol glared at you as you narrowed your eyes at him.Â
âIâm not sharing a room with him.âÂ
âI donât wish to even breathe in her vicinity.âÂ
âThen maybe I should do mankind a service by being around you more.â
âThe only way you can help mankind is by shutting your mouth.â Seungcheol leaned closer, his voice dropping. âYouâre not pretty enough for all the stupidity that comes out of it.âÂ
You rolled your eyes. âRich coming from you. If I had a face like yours, Iâd sue my parents.âÂ
âAw, fifth graders can insult better than you sweetheart.âÂ
âThat was a fact darling.â
âAhâ The two of you turned to the receptionist, finally remembering her presence as her confused eyes flickered between you and Seungcheol. âSo the two of you are dating?âÂ
Looking at her incredulously and with unadulterated disgust, the two of you immediately took a step back.Â
âNo!âÂ
âNo!âÂ
âIâd rather stub my pinky toe on furniture everyday that date her-âÂ
âAnd Iâd rather choke on my own spit everyday than date him-â
âOh baby, I knew you were a desperate one. How about I give you something to better to choke on-â
âHoney, are you sure? I heard you can stack fruit loops on that puny thing-âÂ
âEnough!â The old woman behind the counter got to her feet, putting her hands on her hips, the never-ending squabbling finally getting to her. âIf either of you say another word, I will personally put you both in the tiniest broom closet I can find and trust me, the ones in this lodge are devastatingly small.âÂ
Good luck finding another lodge in this miserable weather.âÂ
And as though on cue, a bright light, followed by a loud thunder flooded the room, taking aback all three of its inhabitants. From the corner of your eye you saw Seungcheol visibly gulp, well aware of his fear of thunder.
Ringing for the bellboy, she handed him the keys before he took your suitcase and Seungcheolâs bag in one hand each, leading the way to your despair of the night.Â

part 1
part 1.5
"So...where are we going?"
"It's a clearing. In the woods." Ellie's hands lazily slide around the steering wheel as she speaks. You could daydream while staring at Ellie for hours. It's relaxing to watch her drive.
"Hm. Are you gonna...kill me there? Or something?" You joke.
"Still deciding."
"Oh myâare you seriously still mad?"
She says nothing, pretending to be engaged with driving.
You let out an irked breath.
"OkayâEllie, I'm sorry. I was wasted out of my mind. And you look really different. Like, not just in your face. Everywhere is different." You confess, fiddling with the stickers peeling off of her dashboard.
"So do you. I still managed to fuckin' figure it out."
"IâI think I almost did? I remember looking at you and feeling reallyâconfused, mostly. I didn't understand why I liked this stranger so much." You say, vaguely remembering how clingy and overt you acted last night.
"You were confused? I was fucking confused," her head swivels to yours. "a lesbian? That's what you are now?"
"Don'tâdon't say it like that. I came out like everyone else. You just weren't there to hear it."
Ellie lets out a choked laugh.
"Oh, Bullshit."
"Excuse me?"
"I wrote you and called you for fucking months. Nothing. A letter a fucking day. Are you listening? Do you know how many letters that is?"
You stay silent. Your hands ball up where they rest on your lap.
"Fuckin' say something! I even asked Dina for your number but you cut her off too! Is there a reason you basically fucking died?"
"I wasn't home, Ellie."
She stills, her shoulders relaxing a touch. She adjusts back towards the road before clearing her throat.
"At...at sixteen? What happened?"
You recall you, sixteen, sobbing and frantic. Tearing apart the letter Ellie wrote to tell you that she left. Wondering why it felt more like a breakup then your actual one did. Cursing yourself over and over and over again for only being sixteen. Your parents cursing Ellie for corrupting you.
"I feel like you can connect the dots." Your voice is just barely loud enough to hear over the droning tone of the car. The only focus you had at this point was trying not to cry in front of Ellie.
"Oh, fuck, y/n. I'mâI'm sorry. Did those fuckers kick you out?"
"No," you sigh. "I just knew I had leave. They're...crazy. I don't know. I'm fine now."
Her knuckles flex and tense over the steering wheel. Her teeth start to bite at her lips. There's a couple more seconds of quiet before she speaks up.
"I wish I would've been there."
You pause, not totally expecting what she said.
"Yeah," you breathe, gazing at the side of her head. "I wished that too."
And that wasn't a lie. Your family instilled a lot on you, mostly turning you away from religion. But then? You were desperate. Painfully, achingly desperate. And completely alone. After you left home, you prayed every single night. A genuine prayer, on your knees and everything. You even bought a $1.50 pocket bible from goodwill. All to aide in your bedtime routine of begging God to make Ellie come back.
She never did. You've been an atheist ever since. You weren't sure if her being here now changed anything.
The silence marinates for a short while longer until you feel the rocky texture of a gravel road beneath the car.
"We're here," Ellie states, throwing the gear in park. She takes a glance at your feet. "and you should've worn better shoes. We have walking to do."
You both hop out of the car.
"Like you couldn't have told me before we left?" You scoff.
"It's more fun to fuck with you later. C'mon," she grabs your hand, tightly clutching it in hers. "there's coyotes and shit around here. Don't be fuckin' stupid and stay close."
You try to will the warmth away from your cheeks. You've never held Ellie's hand before. Even if this doesn't really count as holding.
"Yeah, got it." You force out.
She leads you into the trees, hand warmly on yours, briskly following a mental path she's clearly walked many times.
"I almost got arrested over here," She sighs, far too casually.
"What?!"
"DamnâI said almost, chill." She assures, laughing at your shock.
You lightly slap her shoulder.
"I don't care! Almost getting arrested is still crazy!" You chide, eyes wide and judgmental.
Ellie's always been pretty...rebellious, but a part of you always thought that she'd be smart enough to avoid anything truly consequential. I guess she still is, you think.
"Lemme explain, ok. I was high as fuck, minding my business, when I saw some kids shootin'âa wolf, I think? Maybe a coyoteâI saw them just...fuckin' up this poor thing with aâa BB gun."
"Oh my god..." You say, "What did you do?"
"I didn't do shit at firstâI thought they'd stop. But they were likeâabout to kill this thing, I swear to God. So, I...ha..." Her face breaks into a wide smile. "you're not gonna like this,"
"...What. Not gonna like what."
"I pulled my gun on 'em."
"Ellie!"
"It wasn't even loaded, y'know I like to have it with me just in case..."
"They're kids!â"
"Asshole kids. Ok? And it fuckin' worked soâ"
"I thought you said you almost got arrested?"
"JesusâI did. You keep interrupting meâ"
"Sorry." You quip, also realizing you just interrupted her with your apology.
"It'sâit's fine. Anyway, those fucks called the cops on me after they ran. I found out cause the fuckin' pigs stopped me and asked if I'd seen an 'armed gunman in the area,'" She says, imitating a deep 'cop' voice. "dumbasses had no clue it was me."
You watch as she laughs, amused at her own story. Suddenly, your foot gets caught under a thick root and your arms fly out in an instant.
Ellie's hands hit your shoulders, grasping them upright, causing you to sharply crash into her chest.
"Ohâshit, sorry. I wasn't watching where I was going." You gasp out, trying to regain your balance while loosening your grip on Ellie's coat.
"No, it's those fuckin' shoes," she rebukes, hands still resting on your shoulders. She immediately takes them off you when she notices. "we're almost there anyway. Try not to kill yourself before then."
Your hand burns at your side, palm itching. Is she going to grab it again?
"Where's 'there'?" You ask, glancing around at the wall of trees and shrubbery encircling you both.
"You'll see. Just stay close." She repeats like before, clutching your hand once again.
You tighten your grip, wanting to show Ellie you're listening.
"Good. Let's move."
The two of you walk for about a mile or so more, before the view steals your eyes and you both freeze.
"Ohâwow, Ellie. This is really pretty," you breathe, entranced by the piercingly vibrant colors and towering mountainous structures.
Her head is turned toward you, taking in your reaction to the sight, instead of the sight itself.
She's must've seen it so many times, you think.
"Yeah, you like it? I knew you would." She tells you, unable to keep the satisfied grin from her face.
"Shut up. I'm still mad you didn't even let me get ready this morning."
"There's nobody here. Who're you fuckin' getting ready for?" She barks, arms wide and gesturing.
I still wanted to get ready for you, Ellie. But obviously you don't say that.
"Whatever. You just did it to be a dick." You mutter, plopping yourself down onto the boulder in front of you.
"Yeah, I did. It's funny when you're mad. You're like a cat." She laughs, sitting down next to you.
"That's toxic. You shouldn't make people mad just cause you find it funny." You chide, crossing your legs over the rock.
"Guess I'm toxic, then." She sighs, carelessly throwing pebbles at your head.
"Was that the plan? Sit on a rock and be mean to me?"
"Truly adorable that you think this is meanâ"
"Well it's not nice, that's for sure." You huff.
Ellie shifts so that her body faces yours. Her legs spread out wide, elbows comfortably resting on her thighs.
"I don't think you want me to be nice to you."
Your mouth parts open in surprise, eyes now burning into Ellie's.
"Well that's a lie. I'd love for you to be niceâ"
"I think you like when I'm mean to you. I think you...prefer it, actually." She juts, a confident smile forming.
"Yeah, and who told you that, Dina?" You question, crossing your arms as a breeze starts to make you shiver.
"Nobody told me anything." her head quirks to the side. "I can just tell."
It was difficult to keep your composure. There were some things Ellie seemed to know about you that you didn't even know yourself. It was terrifying, embarrassing, and flattering all at once. Your face feels like its melting. You stay silent.
"Ohâam I right? I've totally got you, haven't I?" She asks, enjoying fully the power she seems to have over you and your emotions.
"No." You bite, unwilling to try and say anything else.
You hated how often Ellie was right.
She takes a ball of black fabric from her pocket, tossing it in your lap. It's a hat.
"Put it on. It's cold."
A swarm of bats fly over the both of you, chaotic and eruptive.
"It's gonna be dark, Ellie."
"I know, I know. I was, uhâsaving the best for last." She quips, hopping off of the rock to stand in front of you.
It felt kind of awkward this way, Ellie fully standing while you sat. You had to look straight up to meet her eyes. It put your head in whirl.
"What, the tattoo? I saw that already."
"No. Something else," She grabs your hand and places it on the bottom hem of her top. Your heart beats a little faster.
"Lift up my shirt."
Your eyes widen as your hand fidgets. You wait for her to keep talking. She doesn't.
"Um...like all the way?" You struggle to find words. "Orâ"
"Lift up," her hand grasps yours, guiding it up. "my shirt."
Fabric shifts and the pale flesh of her abdomen comes into view. Her belly is leanâall hard edges and dense muscle. What catches your eye is the long, winding, angry scar tracing along her hip.
Your brain goes into overdrive.
Traumatic injury, surgery needed... most likely...flexor or... IT band tendonitis? Maybe, what, Bursitis? Something...invasiveâa tear? Labral tear? Iliopsoas tear? What the fuck was she doing?
"Street fighting." She states. "It's my job."
Your face is blank. You shakily stand.
"Uhhhâyou, you better be fucking with me, Ellie." You stutter out. Unconsciously, you move to trace your finger along the scar, feeling the warped, healed skin. "I mean this is...this is serious. This is...surgery."
"Don't I fuckin' know it," she moves her shirt back down, covering the scar. "took me out of the ring for like, eight weeks."
"JesusâJesus Christ. How long have you been doing this!?"
"Not much longer than you've been in school, really."
"So, not long. Is what you're saying." your fingers rake through your hair. "This is...this is fucking crazy."
"It's not thatâ"
"Dina's okay with this? Really. I really don't see how she could be okay with this, like, at all." You argue, cutting her off.
"She wasn't. I had to convince her."
"And how often do you go to the doctor? Once a week? Or do you pretend like you know how to patch yourself up?"
Her face slightly reddens.
"IâI learned how to do it myself. I know how."
"Oh sure. Did you google it? I'm sure google will save you from a life threatening injury."
"Ok, most of them are not 'life threatening'â"
"You don't know that! Not certainly, at least! Not certain enough to be safe!" You exclaim, voice full of anger, but mostly, fear.
She places a hand on your shoulder, gripping it tightly. She doesn't talk until you meet her eyes.
"Hey. I am fine. The hip thing was a fluke. Honest. Most of the time nothing fuckin' happens." She assures, her other hand rubbing up and down your arm. You must've looked more upset than you'd realized.
"Ok."
"Just, 'ok'? Are we...good now?" Ellie asks, blue eyes still deeply connected to yours.
"Um...yeah..." You say, partly hesitating. Ellie watches you closely.
"I wanna go with you."
Her face lights up in...shock?, you think, a pleased grin shaping her mouth.
"Whatâreally?"
"If you really want to do...this," you bite your lip. "being there is what would make me feel...better...about it."
"Yeah? That's...I mean, I think that's great," She says, tucking a loose strand of hair behind your ear. "my own cheerleader."
You step backwards, letting Ellie's hands slide away from your body.
"No, not a cheerleader. A fucking medic. So I'm not sitting home worried about youâdying. I can just be there to help if stuff goes wrong."
"I'm happy either way, princess." She gleams.
As the sun sets, it gets harder to make out the shape of her face. The woods are also quieter, amplifying the subtle sounds of you and Ellie. You wonder about the details of your plan.
"Do I have to pay to get in? How does this...work?"
"No, you're set. Pretty girls get in freeâit's a club rule. Y'know, good for business and everything."
You thank the sky for it's darkness, as Ellie is unable to see the rosy hue reaching your cheeks.
"Oh. Okay...good to know."
Ellie steps up, and now familiarly, encloses your hand in hers.
"C'mon. It's too fuckin' dark to stay any longer."
You walk out of the clearing, back into the dense foliage of where you came. Your grip tightens.
"So...have you had girlfriend?" Ellie blurts.
"Um, weird question, but," you look away. "no."
"Just...trying to gauge how good of a lesbian you are. Pretty bad, it seems."
"Oh, fuck off. I've been focusing on...school." You retort, fully knowing how lame it sounds.
If you were being honest, it was just nerves. You didn't have to try for a boyfriend, he basically wouldn't even take 'no' for an answer. But with girls? It was like you froze.
"Hey I'd give you some tips but...I don't think they'd really...apply for you, y'know?"
"No, I don't know. Explain it." You demand.
"Yeah, yeah, I'm trying think of a way where it makes...sense. And won't make you mad."
"I won't get mad Ellie. Just say it." You encourage, now more curious than anything.
She stops walking and turns to you.
"Well, it's like...the roles. The roles you can have."
"What...roles...?"
She huffs a laugh before continuing, and positions her hand to point to herself.
"I'm the type that flusters the girl. The...fluster-er, right?"
She walks forwards, getting so close that you can smell the scents of the forest soaked up in her clothing.
"And you," She says, her finger poking your collarbone. "...are the girl that...is flustered. It's a...a dynamic, yeah?"
Your skin heats and all you can do is gaze at Ellie, who's completely enthused with this discussion. She stays quiet, watching your face intently, despite it being so dark.
"You're making stuff up again. I don't evenâI don't even know why I let you talk." You utter.
"See? You're doing it already! It's the fuckin' dynamic princessâyou know I'm never wrong." She gushes, pinching at your checks and making them even redder.
"This so stupid. And don't call me that."
It was like the world stopped. As soon as you said it, you could see Ellie's brain distinctly remembering you, in that whiny drunken voice, begging. You won't ever forget it. And neither will Ellie, for completely different reasons.
You knew exactly what she was going to say, so you try and stop her.
"Don't. I don't care what I did yesterday. Justâdon't."
She sighs, clearly dropping it. Thank god. Her teeth bite the inside of her cheek.
"Whatever you say, princess."
You don't even acknowledge it, just rolling your eyes as you walk ahead. Stray branches brush over your legs and thighs, feeling like gentle scratches. You slow a bit, waiting for Ellie to join you.
And hold your hand again.
Stepping ahead of you to lead, Ellie does just that. The warmth makes you smile, and you let it own your face, bright and wide. You didn't care. It was dark enough.
"Alright. Stay close."
"I know, Ellie."

Can't tell the future, feat Optimus
A/N: Iâm feeling pretty crappy at the moment, so I wanted to write something for that. I usually do things like these on my other blog herofics, but I felt like Optimus was a good fit for this so I decided to write something with him. I tagged this with "suicidal tw" just in case, but it's not really an active thing Idk
You hadnât been to the base in a while, which had Optimus a little worried. You had called him every day, when you couldnât make it to the base, so he knew you were okay. There was just something about your voice that was bothering him. Youâd told him you were just tired and that there was nothing to worry about, and even though he had let it slide until now, he didnât really believe you. Optimus decided to go see if you would let him take you for a drive to talk. There hadnât been any decepticon activity for days, so perhaps he would get lucky and the moment of peace would continue.
You were laying in bed with your laptop, trying to decide which assignment was the most interesting. Of course, it was the one that had the deadline months away and not the one that had the deadline next week. You couldnât get started on any of your assignments, and the ones you had started seemed impossible to finish.
âWhy am I like this?â you muttered tiredly, feeling like you might start crying.
The feeling of disappointment was quickly followed by an intense feeling of anger, which made you want to throw your laptop across the room. Why was it always like this? Why couldnât you manage even school? Your classmates could manage school, work, their family and the rest of their life, and you couldnât even stay on top of your assignments. Instead of destroying the laptop you had no money to replace, you just ended up hitting your pillow and screaming into it. Your burst of anger was interrupted as you heard a loud truck horn outside your apartment building. You of course went to look out the window and saw that it was Optimus. You put on a jacket on top of your home clothes and went to see what he wanted, maybe the two minutes outside would miraculously get you out of this slump you were in.
You went downstairs and out the front door of your apartment building and walked up to Optimus.
âWhat are you doing here?â you asked, sounding much colder than you meant to.
âI wanted to see if you were alright. Would you like to go for a drive?â he asked, seemingly not even noticing your tone.
âNo thanks, I-â you paused. You were going to say you had a lot of school work to catch up on, but if you hadnât managed to get started on even one of them the whole day, going for a drive probably couldnât really make it any worse.
âActually yeah, letâs goâ you said.
Optimus opened the passenger side door to the cabin and you climbed in.
âRemember your seatbeltâ he reminded you before starting to drive off.
âYeah yeahâ you muttered, buckling yourself in. âWhere are we going anyway?â
âWhere would you like to go?â
âAnywhere? Nowhere? I donât know, we can just drive aroundâ you sighed.
Optimus was never really one for subtleties, so you werenât exactly surprised when the question you were dreading came. You knew he wasnât blind, he could see there was something going on with you and that you werenât doing well. You had really just hoped that he wouldnât ask, because you felt like your calm demeanor was hanging on by a thread and it would snap at any moment.
âI do not mean to intrude, but I have noticed you have been quite distant lately. I know you have a habit of pushing others away when you are feeling unwell, because you do not wish to be a burden on anyoneâ he stated very matter-of-factly. âBut I wish you would speak to me about what is weighing on youâ
It wouldnât really do any good to lie to him anyway, so you decided to just talk to him. Maybe he would get tired of you too and stop asking how you were. Thatâs what seemed to happen with everyone you ever talked to.Â
âYou asked for thisâ you sighed, before starting your little rant. âI donât know if this is depression or burnout or what, but Iâm exhausted. I donât know how Iâm supposed to manage 15 different school assignments that have deadlines within days of each other. Sure, some of the deadlines are over a month away, but then thereâs like five of them in one week. I canât even get any of them startedâ
âIt sounds like you are feeling very unwell. Have you discussed this with your attending physician or anyone else in your care team?â Optimus asked with clear worry in his voice.
âNot really. When Iâve had calls or appointments with them, I always feel fine in the moment, so I donât say anything, and when I get back home, it all explodes in my faceâ you chuckled dryly, looking out of the side window to the darkness outside. It had started raining too, and since Optimus had decided to turn to the highway, there were barely any lights anywhere anymore, because you were so far away from lived in areas.
âWould you like to discuss your current state of mind with me then? I would like to hear how you are really feelingâ he inquired.
âI can tryâ you sighed. âYou know how us humans live so much shorter lives compared to you cybertronians?â
âYesâ
âI remember thinking back to when I was like sixteen years old, that I would never make it to twenty. But here I am, in my mid-twenties and now it has changed to âI don't think Iâll make it to thirtyâ. I wonder if Iâll ever stop thinking like that? To you, thatâs probably nothing. Thirty years goes by in a blink of an eye for you, because you live for millions of years. I canât even imagine living that long. I canât even imagine living thirty yearsâŠâ you trailed off.
Optimus could feel you trembling on the passengerâs seat. You were most likely trying to hold in your tears, to stop yourself from crying. He knew you hated crying in front of others, so he didnât comment on it.
âYou are probably right about the fact that thirty years is a short time for me, but that does not mean I do not appreciate it. Take these last three years we have known each other, for example. It might have been a very short time for me, but it has consisted of some of the best things Iâve experienced in eons. Meeting you, for instance. You are not a burden (Name). You are my most precious one. I do not want to see you in pain, but I would still take that over never seeing you again. You are so very strong, but you must also rest sometimesâ
You finally started sobbing the moment you heard the words âmy most precious oneâ. Optimus was the only one to ever say something like that to you, he was the only one who seemed to truly understand what you needed.
âYou should not burn yourself out because of something like university. It will wait until you are well again. Life happens now, and you can not sacrifice yourself for a future that you know nothing about. You never know where life might take you, but know this. I will always be there with you. You will never have to face these hardships alone againâ Optimus finished.
âThan-thank-thank youâ you sobbed like a child.
All the stress, all the grief, everything was just pouring out of you now that the dam had been opened. You were crying like a child, just crying away all your frustration as Optimus kept you safe. Even if your time in this universe was just a blink for him, you hoped he would be there until it was your time to go. Maybe you could stay longer if he was there, maybe you would make it past that thirty year mark if he was with you. You couldnât tell the future, but you could hope.

A/N: Yeah so idk what came over me I slapped this out like the good ole days and hope for the best thanks Grammarly and horny colewives and the depths research take me to are places I would go with a grenade launcher but here we are. Happy Halloween fuckers boop boop
Your stepfather had returned from an expedition from beyond the Wall with fellow retired officers from the Westerosi army. He came back sick and delirious, an infected bite of lupine nature on his ribs. You worried by his sickbed beside your mother and Daeron.
Aemond had come home to help as the man of the house. It was a horrid time, you prayed and prayed as Criston moaned lowly, sweating and writhing in pain as the maesters whispered about Direwolf bites. How he was lucky he didnât get mauled. How no one had seen one in centuries.
Centuries.
His fever broke. Quicker than expected he got better, up and walking within a fortnight. Your loving stepfather you adored was back. Yet dismay overcame your aching heart as Criston wasnât quite the same. Summerhall was quiet and desolate as always. It was lively onceâ before all of your siblings moved away, to pursue a career, start a family, and be a wastrel in the Capitol living off the family wealth.
Your mother and Criston began to talk less and less. Your bedroom lay below them. Theyâd fight about Rhaenyra. Fight about whether Criston was too soft on you or Alicent with Daeron, why did your grandpa have to come by so often? After hissing and uttering horrible things theyâdâŠcarnally figure it out.
You hated how you willingly listened in, body in knots as you shamefully tuned your mother out, red-faced as you secretly relished in his grunts and sighs, deep throaty moans that had your hands gripping the bed in need.
Every morning after a night such, you would pray in the small Sept erected behind the manor, fervently apologizing and confessing your wickedness to the maiden for hours. You would continue until your fingers bled from the prayer beads.
It wasnât a happy place. You had a reprieve in typing away on your new typewriter, riding horses with your younger brother, and Criston. Except Criston wasnât Criston. As he got âbetterâ, he became choleric and isolated.
Loud noises irritated him, heâd been on a witch hunt for every critter in the house, claiming he could hear them scuttling about. The carnal noises at night were feral and disturbing, enough to make you stop your secret listening and turn over, wide-eyed. Heâd go hunting on full moons and return tired and raggedâ no game in sight.
The horses disliked the normally genteel man, the woods grew quiet when he sat outside to smoke on the porch. You began to grow more and more concerned, but he was snappish and you were a meek little thingâ the sheltered daughter who stuttered when she spoke to lords and caught chills easily. Overdue to not being married and with a child.
Youâd peered out the grand windows of the manor, seeing the glow of Cristonâs pipe. He was smoking his cherry tobacco, a habit of his on a nice night. You gathered your courage and gently peered out of the front door.
His sharp eyes flickered over, exhaling the fragrant smoke before rasping, âWhat are you doing up, bunny?â You blushed at the old nickname, something born of you being skittish yet soft, sweet, and easy to prey on. The way Cristonâs dark eyes gazed upon you made you feel like a cornered bunny.
âI was reading and noticed you were still out sir, I wanted to check on you. We havenât spoken much lately.â
You shifted, feeling awkward. Cristonâs dark curls fell across his thick brows, puffing on his pipe again. It was dead silent as he exhaled, a hand running over his overgrown stubble. He rumbled, âYou need to stop reading those dreadful pulp books. Come here.â
You made to sit next to him, a hand wrapping around your wrist, Cristonâs voice a near growl as he pulled you gently onto his lap. He emptied his pipe, an arm coming around your waist. You swallowed, feeling your flesh heat, the feelings you prayed away coming back as he was so close.
âWho brings you those books, hm?â
You replied, âAemond sends them to me, sir.â
He shook his head, one big hand rubbing your soft waist, then tucking your head against his chest. Your stepfather inhaled slowly, sighing out. He grumbled, âIf it makes you happy. Like that damn typewriter, he got you too.â
Writing was a passion of yoursâ theyâd begun to let women study at the University of Kingâs Landing. Youâd ask. Sometime soon. Maybe.
Instead, you snuggled against his chest, desperately needing the comfort. Yet you remained wary of propriety at the moment. Your eyes helplessly cast to the front door. He laughed darkly, âSheâs asleep girl, stop your fretting.â
You mumbled, âSheâd be upset.â
âI donât give a damn. Youâre my girl, my most special girl.â
You flushed, chest warming at his words. He huffed a laugh again, looking at you, eyes almost flashing in the moonlight, squeezing your waist, lips stretching into a grin. Your heart thumped against your breast as he ever so softly murmured, âIâd keep you here forever if I could, the sweet little bunny doesnât need all those wolves surrounding her at those balls.â
His canines were sharp in the low light. You wondered what he was if the lordlings were âwolvesâ.
Criston had been getting ready for his hunt, snappish and dismissive beforehand as always. He went without a horse, gun slung on his back, dagger on his waist. Youâd tittered about the recent livestock attacks on some of the tenant's farms. Alicent stood up on the porch, arms crossed.
âThere could be a puma down from the Red Mountains, do you want to be mauled for good with time?â She pointed out.
He snapped, âSomeoneâs got to deal with the tenantâs issues. Unless you plan on toting a rifle.â
You looked at Criston, pleading with your eyes. He tugged on one of your perfectly placed curls, a finger under your chin. His dark eyes turned up to your mother before moving to you. Criston murmured, âThereâs much worse in the world than a big cat, stay indoors, tell Dare to be a good boy.â
You nodded, brows knitting.
Retreating to your motherâs side, Alicent pursed her lips. She shook her head, huffing, âHeâs got a death wish, the fool.â You frowned, picking at the lace of your sleeves. Looking at her pursed lips, you nervously convinced yourself, âHeâll be fine. Heâs got a gun. Heâs always fine, right?â
She stared into the woods, dark eyes pensive as Cristonâs form began to blend into the trees. She spat, âOne day youâll understand that no man will be tame. They do as they please and we pick up the pieces, do well to mind that.â
Her disapproving glare turned to you, hissing, âEven the ones you love so much.â
She turned on her heel, going inside with a slam of the doors.
You swallowed down a noise, hands gripping in your skirts. You worried. Perhaps if you just took a jaunt on your horse you could clear your head, run along your stepfather, and convince him to come back home where it was safe. Your boots were in the stables, there was a good amount of light left in the day.
You followed the trail down to the stone stable, the farrier already gone home. The staff had been making themselves scarce before sundown in light of the attacks. Entering the stable, you looked down toward Winter, Cristonâs Barrowlands draft horse. The poor thing had not been ridden since Criston had returned.
Winter was cantankerous, but he handled her well. Youâd overheard your stepfather complain to the farrier about the horse acting fearful. It was strangeâ heâd had her for ten years now. All the horses seemed to be displeased by his presence.
You took off your small-heeled shoes, changing into more comfortable riding boots. Approaching your horse, a Dornish Sand Steed named Ferris. You pet his ashen snout, cooing at the mild-mannered equine, feeding him one of the carrots always stashed in the stable.
Stepping into the stall, you brushed him off quickly before hauling on his saddle. You despised sidesaddle, your mother too, so you got to have a standard one. Ferris nickered as you pulled on his halter and attached the reins, patting his neck.
It was a swift hop until you were astride the steed, clicking your tongue to move forward, pushing one of the barn doors open to the path that divvied off into trails. Your eyes cast across the land, noticing the Red Mountains looked ablaze with the sun.
Youâd better make this foolish jaunt quick. Praying you may see Criston and talk some sense into him dominated any sort of logic. You have always been such an emotional creature. Ushering Ferris into a canter, your pale hair flew in the wind as you rode.
Onwards you went, eyes wide as you looked through the brush and scrub. Youâd passed some of the bloody leftovers of the sheep, stopping to gasp. Taking a moment to suck in a breath, wide eyes on a rotten half-gnawed skull and another strewn body, bloodied and maggot-covered wool about.
Ferris was edgy himself, the whites of his eyes on display. The imminent danger youâd ignored settled within your bonesâ cold and hard. You trembled, trying to ease your quickly panicking horse.
Snap.
Ferris reared with a whinny, you holding for dear life, cursing on the Seven as the breed known for its quickness was showing off. Yet this was a forest, not a desert. You dug your heels in, tried to pull on the reins hard, shouting âWoah!â
The sand steed skidded, taking a hard rightâ throwing you off. Your scream was cut short as your body hit a tree, breath was knocked out. Youâd hit it so hard you bounced off, head struck hard against the ground as leaves and bark fell upon your unconscious frame.
You awoke to darkness. Cold. The smell of ozone and earth. With a soft grunt, you pulled yourself up, head splitting with pain. Your fingers felt a lump on your head, dried blood that had dripped down your face. You whined as you felt your bruised ribs.
Ferris threw you off.
You had no idea where you were, your horse was gone, it was dark. Not to mention a predator on the loose. Your stepfather was âhuntingâ. Probably not this far out. You remembered the gore of sheep remains, shivering.
Intense fear filled your chest, looking around the dark trees. You needed shelter, out of the open trees where the puma could stalk and hide. Taking a shallow, pained breath, you used the tree to help you upright. Exhaling sharply, you silently cursed yourself for your stupidity.
âNever tame a manâ even the ones you love,â came your motherâs voice, nagging your mind.
Taking a shaky step forward, your eyes strained for any of the rocky feet of the Red Mountains. There were crags and sometimes old hideouts from the days of the Marcher Skirmishes. The Dornish were good at making hidden sanctums. You dragged yourself along, ears hyperactive.
The clouds must have shiftedâ the full moonâs light bathed the forest in an eerie glow. You whimpered, moving faster, frantic eyes spotting a hardness against the natural shapes of nature. It was a whittled-down stone, a sure sign of what you were looking for.
You pushed through the burning pain in your side, panting as you made your way to the stones. Now grateful for the moonlight, you saw it, a cut into the red rock, big enough for a man to get through, much less a woman like you. Your eyes almost caught the much bigger opening above.
You collapsed in a heap once inside, panting and whining in pain. You lay in the darkness, breathing shallow as some energy had to come back. Eventually, you got up again, looking around. There were old weapon racks and scimitars. Much neater if you weren't lost alone in the wild as a sheltered, idiotic noblewoman.
Eyes adjusting further, you noted there were two separate tunnels.
âIâm dead as isâŠâ you murmured, taking the right, and limping into the darkness. As you went deeper, the smell of the damp cave turned into something more foulâ iron and rot. Blood. You held a hand over your mouth, gagging. It was the damn thingâs lair? You walked a step further, boot splattering into a puddle.
You knew what it was.
The stench of rot thickened. This was the feeding grounds. You whimpered again, falling to your knees, sobbing in the darkness. A voice reminded you to be stronger than that. You didn't know whose it was in your brain. Probably everyone you cared for. You didn't want to die, let them grieve and miss you.
Criston would lose himself. He would blame himself, you know he would.
Taking another painful breath, you dipped your hand into the blood, slathering it on your dress and neck, wherever your scent may waft. More tears slid down your face as you wiped some of your messed up hair, the blonde tresses fell and frizzy.
You went to place your hand on the wall to steady yourself, finding nothing. You fell through a small gap, landing with a pained âoofâ. Sitting up again with a grimace, a feeling of safety seemed to embrace you. This little nook of sorts was hidden away.
A plan began to formulate in your mind. You could wait here. Eventually, the beast will come back and feed or sleep. Your best shot was sneaking out and running for it when the animal was distracted. Sighing softly, you felt around the tiny room, finding a knife of sorts, thankfully sheathed.
More shifting around and your hands felt clothing, a shredded shirt, some pants? Your fingertips felt blindâ picking up a jacket of fine quality, you could figure that much feeling the fabric. It wasnât damaged like the other items. You felt at the inside of the collar, looking for embroidery or something sewn.
You kept smelling the air, wondering why something smelt other than rot. Something that made you feel. Cashmere? Silk? The leather of the knife perhaps. Fingertips grazed some thick threading, feeling out the letters.
L-t, C-o-l, C-C-o-l-e.
Your heart stopped. A cold sweat broke out upon your blood-covered skin and ruined dress. Why was Cristonâs jacket here? You smelled it, figuring out the cause of the scentâ it was that cherry tobacco. You gripped it tightly, confused. What if he had hidden here too? What if he was dead? You muffled your mouth with the cloth, too scared, too upset to do much but heave.
Silence fell once again.
Your mind was going wild in the dark. You ached, it was freezing, and your stepfather could be dead for all you knew. You leaned against the wall, holding his jacket against you. Held it even when you jolted from the sounds of heavy breath and dragging.
It grew closer, the dragging of two dead bodies accompanied by the sound of two feet, and heavy breathing. That wasnât a damn puma, you realized. Puma didnât walk on two feet. Your mind went even further into fear and madness.
A monster? Like the ones out of your stupid dime novels?
Full moon. Animal attacks. You shuddered, listening out, breath hushed by Cristonâs coat. The recollection of a silly story about were beasts and half men-half direwolves preying on the frozen North struck you.
The crunch and sound of an animal eating voraciously alerted you from your mind going down the worst routeâŠyet. Now was the time to run. You clutched the knife and coatâ refusing to die without some comfort if this went wrong.
Slithering out of the space, you crawled and crawled, not turning back once. The pain in your ribs was searingâ you grit your teeth. Larger teeth crunched against sinew and bone from behind as the more illuminated front of the abandoned hideout came into view.
You breathed out, feeling dizzy from your bruised ribs crying for mercy. You fell forward from your knees, panting as quietly as you could. The energy was sapping from your body quickly. Drawing up the last of your willâ the need to see your family again, the need for another day came upon you.
You shrugged off your boots, quiet as a mouse, and limped toward the near-blinding entrance. You took one staggering step at a time, biting on the coat to shut up. Your hand reached the entrance before something fell behind you. You crumpled to the ground, seeking somewhere to hide, crawling under nets behind weathered supplies crates.
A roar echoed from the depths of the right tunnel. Your blood was ice. Your breathing grew frantic as the sounds of pounding footsteps and growling. Claws were tearing at wood, cleaving its way around.
Others take you. The boots. You left your damned boots right there. It knows.
You clutched the coat and unsheathed the knife with one, shaking and praying for a quick death if it all went wrong. It felt like hours as it sniffed around, growling and rumbling, growing frustrated. Your wide eyes saw one of your boots hit the carved-out ceiling.
The boxes in front of you splintered and crackled, the netting easily sliced. You screamed in horror, eyes now upon the beast as you frantically crawled backwardâ it roared, heaving and slowly stepping forward.
Your eyes studied it in a state of shock. The beast was huge, with black curly hair adorning its long arms and legs, and claws on its hands and feet. Blood dripped from the sharp canines, bared, snarling at you, the slightly elongated nose just as angry looking. You whimpered, unable to process what stooped in front of you, growing closer and closer.
No, wait, it was like the book. A werewolf. You screamed as it growled and stepped closer, holding the jacket up to your mouth. One of the werewolfâs big hands jerked you forward, a furrowed brow and dark eyes inspecting your face. It huffed and sniffed at you, bloody drool smacking you in the cheek as you cried.
It yanked Cristonâs coat away from youâ leaving you to reach and cry and screech for it. The knife was all but forgotten. A strange look crossed its once enraged features as you sobbed for the coat, begging for something that couldnât possibly understand. One of those clawed hands encircled your throat, pulling you upward, clenching enough to stop your squalling.
Human-like eyes were closer now as it bent down, face to face with you. You stared, wheezing as it lookedâŠconfusedâŠeyes turning from you to the coat and back. As if it was asking you âwhy?â
The pressure on your throat lifted.
âItâs my stepfatherâs coat, I- I need it- I need it,â you pled, âIf you kill me let me have it to hold, please- if someone is in there- please.â
The werewolf blinked, your shrieks muffled by his musky fur as its wet nose and mouth pressed against your neck and inhaled deeply, nuzzling you. You shivered at the strange feeling, whimpering once more.
âThereâs much worse in the world than a big cat.â
The wolfman pulled back, brows furrowing. Your mind was reeling but the pieces all fit. You wept a little, crawling towards the beast and backing away. Back holding the coat you pled fervently, struck with emotions.
âCriston? Criston is that you? I wonât tell you, you donât have to hurt me, is that you?â
The Lycanâs frightening visage softened, those big dark eyes you dreamed about facing you head-on. It held your gaze, a mournful noise deep from its big chest, peaks of his olive skin showing through.
You frowned, seeing the anguish. Criston was inside the beast, he was the beast. He was the horrid thing that ate the sheep and changed into something unnatural and dangerous. You watched him pace back and forthâ claws hitting the stone made you jump, and clutch the coat harder.
âPlease- I donât want you to feel alone, Iâll keep this a secret, you shouldnât suffer alone. Please, just look at me.â
He stopped and turned, advancing on you quickly, picking you up with one arm. You clutched the coarse hair of his shoulders, once again shaking. Cristonâ the beastly versionâ inhaled your neck again, softly smelling, a chest-deep rumble shaking your frame. You felt red in the face, squeaking when its long tongue lapped your neck, cleaning the blood off. You now notice his ears, pointed and bigger.
You were led down the other hallway and laid upon likely ancient furs. The lycan was smart enough to hand you a small candle and some flint stone. You had a feeling the beast was subdued, needs met and the human could come forth. Your shaky hands got the tiny fire lit, illuminating your messy state, and wellâŠCriston was a giant man-wolf thing.
He grunted, eyes darkening at your state. You explained, âI smeared blood all over myself so my scent would be muted. I just couldnât leave the coat. Your scent spooked my horse and I took a nasty fall.â
He looked annoyed, growling and grumbling as his over large frame paced around the chamber, picking you up once again and leading you further into the gloom. Your eyes widened as he somehow shifted through a hole, and you cradled against his chest. You had no doubt it was your stepfather now, the little gestures and micro-expressions too familiar.
You remained alive, staring at cave springs and glowing mushrooms. He dropped you back down, a claw flicking the button to your dress. You could almost hear it now.
âGet bathed, then come and let me see what you did this time.â
You blushed heavily, still not sure whether to run in terror or not. But you stripped to your shift, ready to step in. A growl stopped you. He pulled at your chemise then retreated into the poorly lit chambers.
You took off the buttoned drawers first, then the slip, shivering as you stepped into the shallow pool, sighing as it wasnât cold, a lovey hidden hot spring. Briskly washing off the blood, guts, and wolf slobber, you braided your hair again, slipping the white linen back on, shivering at the coolness of the caveâŠshivering at Criston seeing you like this.
As a godsdamn werewolf.
He was hunched over now, looking at the coat, quickly turning as you reentered, the shift clinging to your wet curves, soft and rounded. You blushed and he let out a deep growl. You had decided to button the drawers underneath the slip, knowing heâd want to see your bruising.
You shyly sat down on the furs and carpets, letting the wolf lay you down, a claw lifting your slip, face turning into pure anger, a deep rumble from the sight of the mottling across usually soft and delicate skin. You nervously murmured, âIâm sorry, Iâm sorry, I went looking for you like a fool. I didnât think thatâŠâ you trailed off.
Silence filled the air.
Another shiver tore through you, heavy bust peaking through the thin fabric strained across your breasts. Purple eyes met obsidian. He covered you in an instant, paw-like hand gently rubbing the bruising, eyes almost pitying you. He rumbled again, nuzzling your neck and décolleté.
Another big hand was on the right side of you, a little rougher, feeling your softened flesh. You babbled under the ministrations, the warmth of his larger body a comfort and a distraction. You began to wonder if this was real.
âCriston- wolf- sir- why now?â
He lapped at your neck as to apologize, hands sliding up and down your sides, one ghosting up your slip, running back on your soft tummy, the claws barely touching. You whimpered, heart speeding up, waiting for something. Criston looked at you again, lips dropping to press a sweet kiss.
You gripped at the skin and human hair on his chest, finding yourself rather intoxicated with desire now. His touch roamed to your teats, huge hands able to get a nice handful, squeezing. You whined, babbling, âIâve always wanted you- Gods save me.â
He rumbled, amused as he grew impatient, growling as he squeezed and flicked a claw against your nipple; lapping and lapping at the other through your thin slip. Your needy hands pulled at your drawers, shivering as you pushed them down, soaked cunt bare.
âGods- oh gods,â you mewled.
Cristonâs hands retreated from your skin quickly, his nose twitching nowâ growling, eyes moving to between your legs. You desperately mewled, âD-donât tear me in halfâŠI know the beast is coming back.â
The beast in him didnât have all of its needs filled. Fight, flight, feed, and now fuck. You took off your slip, bared for his gaze.
You were promptly turned onto your belly, ass hiked up as feral grumbling and growls came from behind, his nose and tongue coming up your back, hands on your ass and thighs roughly as you whimpered, panting and shaking.
A blunt tip pushed at your virgin entrance, surprisingly slick. You whimpered again before he howled in excitement as the rest of his huge cock entered you, tearing your maidenhead and penetrating you deep. Your fingers clawed at the floor as he began to fuck in earnest.
You panted and whined in pain, getting on your elbows to ease the pressure on your ribs, dulled earlier by the hot springs. Now you were burning between your legs and there, focusing on the stretch of your inner walls, how thick and wet he felt.
The pain was still there, pinching some. Criston growled and growled, forcing the most obscene noises from your pussy. He licked and nibbled at the nape of your neck as you felt the primal rhythm of his fucking begin to heat up, growing hotter with every rub.
âNgh, wet, oh! Sâfull.â came the nonsensical words between wet slaps. The beast seemed to like how he stretched you to your limits, rutting ceaselessly as he felt where his cock had you speared. You panted, hand slapping down to where a mess was being made, rubbing that place youâd read about, tightening down further.
Criston whined this timeâ claws digging into your full hips. His face nuzzled against yours, rumbling and whining like a puppy, his cock swelling as you tightened. It felt so good, surrounded by him, your virgin pussy being rubbed and rubbed from the inside and out with a frantic hand, noises wet and sloppy.
You didnât realize how loud you were crying and carrying on as he fucked you deep and hard, Criston, the beast, bothâ began to grind upwards, easily manipulating your hips. You mewled when the soft, sensitive roof of your cunt was being massaged by his veiny prick. You gasped, at the end of your rope, âSir, Cristoooon, oh, sir, sir, oh gods- I canât do it- oh gods.â
That wasnât an appropriate wolf-man answer. He simply angled you harder, the tip now gently kissing your cervix. Slow and intense, rub rub rub. You blinked, feeling a sob from the intensity building up. A furry arm wrapped up under you, holding you close to his warm body as you began to unravel, pleasure filling your lower body before spreading outwards like a heavy blanket. He lapped and held you through it, kissing a little, surprising you when the beast whined like it was in pain, a mournful howl before painting your twitching cunt with white-hot seed.
You knew you were done, for now, too fucked out and delirious. The wolf pulled your smaller body atop of him, you feeling like your beloved stepfather was back, albeit in a way you were sure it took being insane to see. You didnât have time to think about it, resting against his broad frame, eyelids drooping as its big arms enveloped you.
You awoke with a gasp, yelping at a very naked Criston staring at a very naked you. He grabbed you gently, eyes fierce, pressing his forehead and nose to your own. His human-sized hands were holding your shoulders as he croaked, âMy bunny, my baby, forgive me, you need to you need to end this.â
You pulled back, frowning before taking his stubbled cheeks in hand, eyes taking in the anguish across his features. You swore, âNo. I- I wanted it. I still want it. If we need to come to a means like that, weâll walk to the ends of the earth first.â
He stared at you, quivering in agony. He looked so tired. He looked scared. You hugged him, uncaring of anything but the man who kept you afloatâ beast or not. You spoke firmly against his ear, âIâm not leaving you behind. I wonât have you do this alone. Just, just know I love you, more than anything Iâve ever shown.â
A tear slipped from his eye, his pretty lips quirking up, his fingers gripping your chin gently. Criston rasped, âI love you bunny. Never had anything keep me soâŠin tune with it. You- you shook me out of that animalistic fugue.â
âIâll do it every night if need be,â you promised, kissing his cheek, hands seeking his.
Criston looked to the side, jaw and brows working as they did when he was nervous or stressed. Finally, he looked up at you, eyes firm again.
âWhy donât we stay lost a bit longer, Iâll smell out Ferris and you take your ass home. I shouldâve eaten him for leaving you like this, a feast for a beast.â He picked you up, heading back towards the hot springs.
End.

âIâm timekeeper Raymond Leon.âÂ
You snickered and raised your brows in disbeliefâ what an introduction.Â
âWhat can I help you with, timekeeper Raymond Leon?â He made no indication that he was affected by your mocking, which wasnât all that surprising.Â
âSomeone stole a lot of time and their last known location was with you.âÂ
âReally? I donât recall having any visitors recently. Except you of course.âÂ
âMaybe you just need something to jog your memory.â He reached in his coat pocket and pulled out a somewhat blurry picture of you and the man in question. It was clear enough that you could recognize yourself though.Â
âThatâs not me.â You shrugged.Â
âThatâs not you?â He asked, pointing to the mostly clear picture of your face.Â
âNope.â As he stared at you, you studied his face, trying not to get flustered by the fact thatâ for a timekeeperâ heâs fucking hot. After a moment, he sighed in what seemed like annoyance.Â
âI tried to do this civilly, but if you wonât cooperate Iâm going to have to bring you in and question you officially.âÂ
âCome back with something other than a blurry photo to prove it was me and Iâll talk to you. Until then, fuck off.â He pursed his lips and nodded as he thought.Â
âIf I have to come back, things will be a lot worse for you. This is your last chance.â He warned and you had to refrain from rolling your eyes.Â
âI think Iâll take my chances. You can see yourself out, timekeeper Raymond Leon.â He only stared at you for another moment before standing up and leaving. The second you saw his car pull away, you rushed to pack a bag, not wanting to stay here and make it easy on him when he inevitably returned.Â
You did help that man. In exchange for a place to stay for the night, he gave you one of the time bars he collected. You didnât ask where or how he got them, honestly you didnât care. With what he gave you, you can spend your days hiding from the timekeeper rather than working and giving him another easy place to find you.Â
That proved to be more difficult than you expected though. Multiple times now, heâs almost caught up to you, almost found you, and every time you always run. But you were getting tired and the worst part is that it doesnât seem like he is too. If anything heâs only more motivated to catch you after all this timeâ as if it was personal now.Â
You were walking down the street, continuously checking behind youâ heâs made you so paranoid that you flinch at the slightest sound. When you rounded a corner, your eyes widened at the black car slowly driving in your direction. You immediately turned around and started walking impossibly faster out of nerves, which only seemed to draw attention to yourself because you heard the siren turn on behind you, making you take off into a sprint. Every once in a while you checked behind yourself, finding the car right on your tail. When you turned down an alley, you heard the door slam shut and then loud footsteps, running after you.Â
âStop!â Fuck. Part of you was hoping it would be literally any other timekeeper besides him. But youâve never had good luck.Â
You rounded another corner, chest starting to burn from the exertion, and when you turned down yet another alley, you slowed to a stop at the sight of a building in front of you, high enough that you wouldnât be able to climb over it. You cursed under your breath and turned around to go back and keep running, but he just caught up to you, slowing to a stop a few feet away and pointing a gun at you. When you staggered back, he followed you slowly, gun and eyes completely trained on you.Â
âNo where else to run.â He said, making you look around again just to be sure. Heâs right. You were surrounded by three buildings, there was no way out other than behind him.Â
âThis doesnât seem like a fair fight.â You said, glancing at the gun.Â
âIâm not fighting you.âÂ
âWell I'm not going with you willingly so your options are shoot me or fight me.â He stared at you a moment, then scoffed a laugh and put the gun away.Â
âFine.âÂ
Truthfully this decision mightâve been a little stupid. You donât know how skilled of a fighter he is and youâre not even very good yourself. But you figured having a slight chance was better than having no chance.Â
Everytime you attacked, he blocked it easily with a smirkâ he wasnât even fighting back. Wanting to position yourself on the side of the only exit, you started trying to circle him, but he caught on almost instantly and made sure he always stayed between you and the street. Â
The first time your fist landed on his cheek, both of you were stunned. He snapped out of it though and grabbed your wrist while you were still off guard, then twisted you around so your arm was bent uncomfortably behind your back. He pushed you forward until you hit the wall and then placed your other arm behind you as well.Â
âI didnât even fucking do anything.â You spat, squirming in his grip.Â
âYou ran, lied, and interfered with an investigation.â He said lowly, pressing his body against yours to limit your thrashing.Â
âNo shit I ran. I donât know if youâve noticed, but people like me usually end up dead because of people like you.âÂ
âI wouldnât kill you.â He said simplyâ as if his words would be enough to make you believe him.Â
âNo⊠Youâd just take my time because I âhave too muchâ and then Iâd die.âÂ
âI would only take back the time that doesnât belong to you.âÂ
âSomeone gave it to me. I donât fucking care where they got it from, you should be punishing them not me.âÂ
âTrust me, we have. But since you aided a wanted criminal, you need to be punished too.â You felt him lean back a little before continuing. âOnly ten hours? Whereâs the rest?âÂ
âI wasnât about to walk around with too much time and get myself killed.â You scoffed, thrashing again.Â
âThatâs not what I asked.âÂ
âGo to hell!â He suddenly turned you around, slamming your back against the wall with a firm hand wrapped around your neck.Â
âWhere is it?â You clenched your jaw as your gaze hardened, ignoring the way your chest was heaving and your stomach was fluttering from the proximity alone. âItâs not at your place, we already checked. So where did you stash it?âÂ
âFuck you.â You muttered, making his grip tighten on your neck. His free hand grabbed your wrist and he looked down at it, making you do the same. âHey!â You tried yanking your wrist free as the numbers kept going down and down. He left you with 30 seconds, then looked back up at you.Â
âIâd talk quickly if I were you.âÂ
âThis is not fucking legal!â Your eyes kept rapidly glancing between his face and your armâ 25 seconds now.Â
âEither you tell me where it is and I take it back, or you time out and no one uses it anyway.â 20 seconds.Â
âOkayâ okay Iâll tell you, just- give me my time back.â You rushed out, chest heaving in fear rather than arousal now.Â
âTell me first.âÂ
âFuck!â 15 seconds. Your eyes burned with unshed tears as you watched yourself grow closer and closer to death. Should you just tell him? Give him a fake answer? Maybe heâs bluffing⊠But you donât know for sure whether he is or not. Ten seconds. âPlease- please, Iâll tell youââ You whimpered, but he just waited. Five seconds. âItâs in my apartment!â Your time was going up now, but only back to 30 seconds.Â
âWe already searched there.âÂ
âI- I have somewhere to hide it. Please.âÂ
âShow me.â He said as he gave you an hour. Pulling away from you, he motioned for you to start walking, so you did. âI doubt I need to remind you, but if you try anything, youâll be dead in an hour.âÂ
âFuck you.â You muttered, bottom lip quivering. You were glad you were at least in front of him so he couldnât see you wipe your tears. You canât even remember the last time youâve been that scared.Â
He walked taciturnly behind you, his boots heavy against the pavement compared to your worn down sneakers.Â
âWhy are you doing this?â You asked, not bothering to try and face him.Â
âWhy am I enforcing the law? Because itâs my job.â That made you halt suddenly and you couldnât help yourself when you turned around.Â
âBullshit.â You spat, crossing your arms over your chest. âYouâve been fixated on me for weeks just because itâs your job? Itâs only a few years, the other guy had hundreds. Why am I so fucking important?â He stared at you silently, his cheek flexing as he clenched his jaw, and you did your best not to shrink under his gaze.Â
âIâm not giving you more time until I have what was stolen so I suggest you hurry up.â You huffed and rolled your eyes at his response, then turned around to keep walking. As you neared your apartment, you tried to think of a way out of this. You werenât lying when you said you had somewhere to hide it in your place but you couldnât just give it up that easily.Â
You entered the building and walked up the stairs, then down the hall to your door. Fumbling with your keys, you tried to give yourself more time to think, but he caught on quickly.Â
âStall all you want but you have less than an hour before you time out so I wouldnât recommend it.âÂ
âHow do I know youâre not just going to leave me with this anyway?â You spat, turning around to face him.Â
âBecause unlike you, Iâm not a liar.â He countered and you tried to maintain eye contactâ to not give in. But after only a few seconds, you clenched your jaw and turned back around to open the door.Â
âI need to go to the bathroom.â You said, setting your keys down on the counter as he scoffed a laugh.Â
âSure. After you give me what I came here for.âÂ
âI need to go now.âÂ
âThen you better hurry up.â Your teeth grinded together painfully as you glared at him, but all he did was raise his brows, waiting.Â
âFine.â You opened a drawer in the kitchen and grabbed a screwdriver, then walked to your room as he followed, carefully watching you. You eyed the messy space and gave him an annoyed look. âThey couldâve at least put everything back instead of completely trashing my room.â He didnât respond. Just waited by the door impatiently.Â
You walked over to the nightstand and picked up the alarm clock to unscrew the back. You only bought this clock a couple weeks ago for the sole purpose of hiding the time capsule since you knew theyâd search your apartment.Â
Reluctantly, you took it out and set the clock back on the side table. He walked closer and held his hand out, but you hesitated. Despite the fact that youâve been obsessively anxious and vigilant for the past couple weeks, theyâve been the most relaxing weeks of your entire adult life. You werenât always hours from death, you didnât have to overwork yourself to the point of considering just laying in bed and letting yourself time out.Â
âPlease.â You said quietly, looking up at him. âPlease⊠Canât you just- say I got away? Or that someone stole it from me?â You begged, grip tightening on the capsule. Â
âNo.â Your face fell from just that one word. Even if he gave you back the ten hours, youâd still be dead before you could find work. You looked around the room, gauging how close you were to the door or window and if youâd have a chance. âDonât do something stupid. Youâll only make this worse for yourself.â You turned back to him, eyes starting to burn with tears once again.Â
Impulsively, you decided to take your chances and go for the window since it was already open. You barely made it a foot away from it before a gun was going off, making you jump and squeeze your eyes shut, waiting for the pain you were sure youâd feel. When you opened your eyes, you saw a new hole in the wall in front of you, only inches to the left of your head.Â
âFine!â You yelled, voice breaking. Turning around, you threw the capsule at him and he caught it effortlessly. âJust fucking leave. I donât want the time back.â You knew you probably only had half an hour left, but you felt completely and utterly defeated and exhausted. Â
âWeâre not done yet.âÂ
âI gave you what you wanted.âÂ
âYou still broke the law. Numerous times.âÂ
âSeriously?â He just stared at you. âFine. Iâll time out there instead.â When you walked passed him toward the door, he grabbed your wrist, making you freeze.Â
âNot yet.â He said, then after a few seconds, released your arm that now showed two hours. âLetâs go.â Your gaze shifted between his hands, one with the gun and one with the time capsule. You knew you had to try something before you got in the car because after that youâd have no chance.Â
âRemember what I said about doing something stupid?â Your eyes snapped up to his.Â
âWhat so Iâm just supposed to willingly fucking kill or incarcerate myself by going with you?âÂ
âYes.â He all but shrugged, making your gaze harden. Eventually you just huffed and walked out of your room to the front door as he trailed behind you.Â
The walk back to his car was silent and while you tried to walk slowly, every once in a while heâd nudge your back with the gun, warning you. When you rounded the corner only a block away from his car, you recognized the man across the street.Â
You met him a few days ago. He was on 20 minutes, frantically begging on goers for any type of job theyâd be willing to give. So you gave him a day. He seemed to recognize you too, then noticed the timekeeper behind you. He looked the other direction, spotting the black car a little ways down, and seemed to understand what was happening. Pulling his hood up, he started walking in the opposite direction you came from, then crossed the street so he was behind you.Â
You heard a loud step, then turned around to find the timekeeper catching his balance before turning around to see who had pushed him. You reached for the gun and since he was distracted by your savior, you managed to take it from his loose grip, making him turn back to face you. His eyes quickly changed from shocked, to completely fucking pissed. You took a couple steps back and pointed it at him, watching the other man run away.Â
âGive me the capsule.â You said, gaze shifting to his hand for half a second before looking at his face again. When he took a step forward, you took one back and adjusted your grip on the gun. âSet it on the ground and kick it to me.â You urged.Â
âNo.âÂ
âExcuse me?â You asked, brows shooting up.Â
âIf you want it, youâre going to have to kill me.âÂ
âPlease just give it to me.â You begged, knowing you didnât have what it takes to do that. Slightly lowering the gun, but still keeping your guard up, you stared into hard, unforgiving eyes. He was suddenly rushing toward you, and it all happened so fast that you donât even know what you did, but one second he was moving forward, the next he was on the floor. You could see blood pooling in the pavement and you almost gagged at the sight of the hole in his leg.Â
âOh my godâ oh my god, I- I didnâtâŠâ You quickly threw the gun as if it had burned you and kneeled down next to him, anxiously looking between his pained expression and the wound that was gushing so much blood it almost made you throw up. âAre you okay?âÂ
âAre you fucking kidding?â He hissed, making you flinch.Â
âSorryâ Iâm sorry.â He stared at his leg for a second before growling and discarding the time capsule on the floor so he could put pressure on his leg. âWhereâs your phone?â You reached for his coat pocket, making him flinch back.Â
âDonât fucking touch me.â He spat.Â
âYou need to call someone or youâll bleed out!â How is it possible that youâre more panicked than he is right now? He seemed to understand his options though.Â
âFine.â You reached in his pocket and took out his phone to call 911, making sure to specify that it was a timekeeper that needed help so that they didnât take their time. You donât know why you did that for him though. He was about to arrest you for god's sake. After hanging up, you put it back in his pocket then reached for the time capsule, making sure to stay out of arm's reach. You gave yourself three days, then set it down next to him.Â
âIâm sorry for shooting you. I honestly didnât mean to.â He gave you a look of almost disbelief and irritation at the fact that youâd said something like that.Â
âYouâre not running?â He asked, breathing getting more and more labored.Â
âIâm waiting until I hear the siren.âÂ
âWhy?â
âBecause I shot you and I feel bad.â You said sheepishly, making him scoff.Â
âAfter all this time, you care enough to make sure I donât bleed out?â He snarked.Â
âWould you rather I go?â You asked, gaze still nervously moving between his eyes and his leg. He let out a quiet huff and rolled his eyes. âPlease donât try to find me again.â You begged.Â
âYou shot a timekeeper. Youâll be lucky if the order isnât to shoot on sight.â
âPlease.â You whispered urgently.Â
âI donât have any control over that. But even if I did, Iâm not going to stop.â
âPlease, Raymond.â Your head snapped up at the sound of sirens quickly growing closer. Before you stood, you grabbed the gun just in case. âPlease.â
âRun all you want. Iâll find you eventually.â
