I’m not sure how to exactly like. Word this? But I think as time as gone on I’ve felt like it’s less necessary for there to be a community specifically devoted to, y’know, same-gender attraction and/or being trans. Not because we aren’t still in danger-- we absolutely are-- but because it’s not JUST us who are in danger. It’s not only gays and trans people who are at risk due to sexual puritanicism, gender binarism/essentialism, and the increasing loss of bodily autonomy. Polyamorous people are at risk, kinksters are at risk, intersex people are at risk, aroaces are at risk. Arguing over who’s included in what community does nothing. We don’t NEED an LGBT community. We need a sexual liberation community. For everyone, unconditionally. We need to destroy the idea that “unconventional” sexuality is some evil, horrible thing, for everyone.

Sex shouldn’t be a dirty topic. Not desiring sex or romance shouldn’t make you a freak. Being attracted to multiple genders and dating multiple people shouldn’t be seen as slutty and depraved. Being gender non-conforming and transitioning socially or medically shouldn’t be seen as unnatural. Hell, you could easily bring abortion rights into this too. Abortions aren’t sinful, being gay isn’t sinful, being kinky isn’t sinful. And we need solidarity and unity against the increasing attacks against autonomy and sexual freedom NOW more than ever.

Bodily autonomy and sexual oppression aren’t just LGBT issues. They never have been. This post isn’t about if this or that community is included in LGBT, it’s about how I personally think that the concept of an “LGBT community” is nowadays obsolete, and that a fight for our rights needs to involve more than JUST gay marriage/adoption and the right to transition. Those are important things, yes, but they’re only individual pieces of a greater battle for sex positivity and autonomy in our society. Kinksters, polyamorists, asexuals, intersex people, and whatever other sexually oppressed group you can think of aren’t your enemy. They are allies. Protect them. I cannot stress enough how it does not MATTER if you think intersex people or asexuals or polyamorous people or whatever other group are LGBT or not. They shouldn’t HAVE to be LGBT for you to care about them. Sexual liberation is for EVERYONE.

i feel like poolverine easily could’ve been one of those “they’re flirty but it’s mostly unserious” situations, and for most of the movie yeah they were extremely gay, but wade’s been like that with other guys and it was never treated as a serious type of relationship before. they’re willing to die for each other, but even then the romantic aspect of their relationship could be glossed over because it’s a superhero movie, that’s just what they do, and they’re working together to save a whole timeline—it’s not just about them. but then the movie doesn’t end with them saving the day and moving on. i think this’s really the part that sells poolverine as a genuine relationship to me… logan’s leaving, and wade calls for him. he can’t stand to let him go. then he introduces him to his family, and logan stays. he doesn’t really need to stay, but they’ve both decided they’re better off with one another than without

One of the biggest things that makes me see Leo as trans is absolutely the size of his carapace in comparison to his brothers’.

And I’m not talking about height! I’m specifically looking at his shell here, because when you compare him to the others, particularly Donnie who is nearly the same height as Leo, it’s very clear that Leo’s carapace is much longer in proportion to the rest of his body.

Like - standing side by side, even though Donnie is shorter his carapace ends noticeably higher up than Leo’s does. And I like this not only because it really helps push the idea that Leo could very likely be trans (or intersex!), but it’s also just a fun design difference between them.

(It also lends way to future scenarios of Donnie eventually getting taller than Leo, but sitting down still has Leo being the taller one haha.)

I want Chaos Theory to go more into detail with the characters' trauma, esp Ben, I want to see how he acts during another pterodon attack, I want to see how he reacts to heights, nearly falling from a high height. I know it's a kids show, but I feel like we never got a proper look into Ben and his trauma, like we did get glimpses into it, and I think he's very well written, but I want to see it at more than surface level, dude was assumed dead for probably around a month and had to survive by himself on a dino infested island and you expect me to believe he's doing pretty decent all things considered? I wanna see a real look into his paranoia and anxieties surrpunding Brooklynn's death, I wanna see how he feels knowing he introduced Brooklynn to the website that ultimately lead to her "death".

I want to see Ben treated as more than a comedic relief for more than a few scenes.

Ok I know I'm heavily biased here but like I kinda love that Astarion's romance is one of the few in this type of video game where you basically end up canonically unmarried and childfree in his "good" ending? Just travelling the world??

The way people are becoming anti-children nowadays is really sad. And I'm not talking about people not wanting to have kids of their own, that's fine and something that shouldn't be shamed nor up to someone else to debate. No, I'm talking about the people who adamantly hate these little humans for simply existing, wanting to ban them from spaces due to them having emotional reactions that they are still learning to understand (you know, the kind of lessons that everyone had to learn and figure out at one point). It's gotten to the point where I've even seen these types of people genuinely support children being harmed and deny their hurt under the consensus of "Well then maybe they shouldn't be there," in your average public space. Like, imagine thinking hating on children, people who need assistance and guidance, is something to be proud of.

On Wednesday before I gave my presentation I confessed to a new employee that I was worried it would be too long and she brightly told me her life hack was to just let AI rewrite things for her. She said I should put in all my talking points and ask ChatGPT to give me a five minute exactly presentation. I was like....how is the most polite possible way (since this is a new colleague I shouldn't get off on the wrong foot with) that I can express that I will Not be taking this advice. Ever. I told her that I didn't think we were allowed to use ChatGPT at this job (we most certainly are not, it is a nightmare for any type of protected information) and also that I prefer to write all of my own work. Despite my best efforts the last part of that was still passive aggressive, lol.

Something about being a writer makes it so that it's almost offensive to me for someone to suggest I use AI to do my work instead? Like, the day I reach the point where I let AI write something for me is the day y'all need to be checking me for brain damage because clearly I'm losing it

FRRR literally every second he’s alone is one where he’s almost dying. Like he joined the warriors faction and then in every mission almost dies. Like where they tried to kill the diamond player and Theo literally says “they’re targeting Parrot!!”. I can just imagine Wifies or Ken asking how Parrot got Purpled of all people to give him leadership and parrots just like “oh yeah he tried to kill me and the other council members thought that was a little too far(even tho they also tried to killed me)”.
