William Headcanons

William isn’t quite the typical jock you had in mind, though some aspects of him fall into the category, the rest deviate from it. As to be expected from an athlete, he is strong; but his brute force actually comes with a reasonable mind and common sense. With that being said, he strategizes against every situation he is facing. He’s considerate and cares enough to the point where he’d put every last drop of his blood in making sure that all of his teammates make it out alive. Especially if that teammate is you. Call him a simp or whatever, but if it’s a detention rescue he needs to execute in order for you to make it out alive, then he’d risk everything, even a win.

Though he might come off as arrogant with all the confidence he brandishes, his intention is nothing of the sort. It only comes natural to him to be in such poise before matches just like he would before his football games. Obtaining that confidence isn’t without work, though. He’d need to psyche himself up and cast away any of his doubt, all the while maintaining a sane mind to think ahead.

The same could be applied when he interacts with you. It takes great courage for him to talk to you, no matter how chill of a person you are with his behavior. All that because of his adoration towards you. He’s used to being in the spotlight (he was an athlete star), but he never knew how to act appropriately around his own idol. That is until you convince him to let loose and be himself around you.

Now that you and him have gotten closer, a new strain has clung on to the relationship. He’s always so anxious that you would leave him if he weren’t as impressive as stands to be. In matches that include you, he’d always give it his one thousand and ten percent. He’d constantly worry of where you are at all times and would follow you everywhere if he does reunite with you. When you kite, he would disrupt the hunter as much as he can by charging at them until he is no longer able to (until he ran out of his rugby). He’s the one who would usually end up chaired due to such behavior, but that doesn’t matter to him.

It’s not appreciation that he was met with, though. Instead, you are concerned by this tendency of his. At first, you thought that he was being a show-off and is reckless during it. Then you came to realize that it is just his way of keeping everyone, especially you, safe. He really is just a loving and cuddly teddy bear with a somewhat foul mouth.

He’s also one who would come up with a romantic yet quirky instances; at times he’d try to woo you over by constantly comparing his muscles with Naib whenever you were in earshot. William likes praises especially if it comes from you acknowledging his hard work, he's really just like a cute puppy craving for affection whenever he’s around you.

There’s a tradition where William would always throw you into the air whenever you guys won the match, he would always smile in every wins; his smile could triple if he got out with you.

Will is a big spoon, he loves cuddling (didn’t we mention that he’s like a teddy bear? ;D ) with you especially after a long day, he would hold you close to him with his arms around you protectively, he really likes it when your fingers play in between his hair and massage his head. It helps him relieve some stress from all the matches. His body also functions as a heat generator so cuddling with him in winter is the best although the tables turned when it's in summer.

It might not seem like it but when you go on dates, he wants it to be really wholesome so he'll always ask Naib for some tips in what to do which is a stupid thing to do since the mercenary himself didn't even have any experience in love nor a love life before. There's one time when he wakes you up for a training session at 3 AM, courtesy of Mr. Naib 'I don't know any love tips but I don't want to appear clueless so I'll just make one up' Subedar.

Have you ever been assaulted by geese or a rooster 🤔 they're so scary...... i'm a rooster attack survivor..... when i was little one would chase me and it was so traumatic 😢 i was running and crying at the same time and i remember i lost one of my shoes.... I survived but i was never the same 😔 now I'm wondering who in idv would survive a rooster/geese attack.... i think i'll make a tier list.... actually my great great grandmother had varicose veins on her legs and rooster fawking bit her and she had a crazy bleeding session 😭 and she was terrified of roosters until she died i understand her those are some satanic animals.... gladly my grandfather started taming them to behave so we are now *MODERATELY* safe……i think

that actually sounds horrifying, as much as it is funny
