but thank you so much yes im okay im normal about them i’ll do my best (for context i mentioned in the tags of one of my posts a while back wanting to infodump about them, but i forget which one it was jfkdlsjhl anyways-)

this won't be a full info dump because i think that would somewhat restrict my dynamic of them if i put it all into words (if that makes sense) ;;;

and i realized i lowkey dont have a coherent timeline for them (yet); i just put them in random scenarios of what i think would be fun at the moment

to make up for it i'll also put a silly self-indulgent sketch dump all below ;;;

okay now for some random jamiyuu dynamics/hcs/lore

yuu fell first -> yuu lost feelings (bc why would you trust someone who took advantage you) -> ✨ then something happened ✨ -> jamil fell next but harder.

highkey disliked each other -and showed it- in the beginning bc of the whole scarabia drama; then an -accidental- act of service got them to think differently about one another. like "holy shit maybe they're not so bad after all???"

extremely slow burn.

very competitive with one another which then bled into their "flirting" / affectionate acts when they eventually became closer.

basically: “sweetheart” but rivalry -> “babe” but platonically -> “bro” but romantically pipeline.

yuu kinda throws around “love you” a lot, especially to her close friends; so -during their “platonic” stage- for some reason, jamil was the only “friend” she has not said this to. but it’s okay it’s not like jamil had referred to her as the “f-word” (friend) anyway.

had a mutual agreement that their romantic relationship is temporary because of yuu wanting to go home; they’re just going to “try it out” “no hard feelings”.

yuu made jamil promise to never use snake whisper on her ever again.

jamil: personal beef w/ bugs + afraid of them; yuu: personal beef w/ bugs (w/ a few exceptions) + not afraid of them, just generally pissed at their existence.

dancing and music lowkey became one of their love languages.

kalim genuinely became one yuu’s best friends because of how much they hit it off. jamil always third wheels them no matter the circumstance.

yuu loves grim more than jamil; jamil knows this very well. and so does grim.

i feel like i'm reblogging a lot of bmc stuff and like. let me be clear i currently do not listen to bmc or even think about it all that often. i just think you guys have incredible takes and i agree with you.

listen idk what i'm doing. i don't even properly go here anymore. i have different "they're my Little Guys (gn)" nowadays. but my first four mutuals from this site still post about bmc and they're so right about everything they say, yk?? like it's been eight months or something since i listened to the bmc soundtrack, idk what's canon anymore, but if my good friends are going to put all of this delightful fic and art and analysis and all the things onto my dashboard then who the hell am i to not reblog it??

and yeah, there is some creeping suspicion in my mind that everything i see about bmc is some elaborate goncharov-esque thing inspired by the musical which an ever-shrinking attachment to the original. and i adore it. i love it because my friends do. i think everything they say is exactly right honestly. if/when i ever go back to bmc, the music will have all of this fabulous new Lore to go with it that i never could have come up with on my own because it's the result of people who love this objectively poor musical making it into something so much better.

@theabyssgazesalsointoyou, @rising-above-stars, @rad-rat-with-a-tophat, and @lunaryuwu: this is for yall. i love you. i think you guys are geniuses (genii) who have made be more chill into something so much cooler than it used to be. to every other bmc artist, writer, analyst, or other who has helped them and talked with them and been a part of it too, yall are cool too! don't get me wrong! there are so many other Good BMC Blogs i can think of that have added to my current perception of the show and fandom; so many names i see over and over that i don't check out bc simply put, i am not into bmc any more. but abyss, lara, rat, and luna, you guys really shaped it for me. so thanks.

and to other fandom creators, take this as a lesson: even if your source is bad. even if your fandom's insane or scary. even if you're primarily interested in the background characters. you can have an exceptionally fun fandom experience, and you can give one to other people as well. just Go For It. good luck.

I like doing requests as warmups or chances to experiment or etc. so you are always free to send them in and there’s a good chance I’ll get around to it eventually! Anyways, I just went ahead and drew them all lol 👍

I still need to figure out their designs further, but I think this is a good start… I don’t think I’ve ever properly drawn any of them. Every year around 9/19 I set out to draw a 919 lineup and it never ever happens, so I’m glad I could still share how I see them this way :)

How much time in a day do you think you do art? Personally do you think that's a good amount?

i couldn't say, my days are unstructured. i sleep very late because i can only get in the zone when everyone's asleep and wont bother me, but im prone to distraction when I get to do whatever i want, too.

i wake up late without enough sleep and end up loafed and in bed for a good chunk of the day (and night) trying to regain energy (and daydreaming)... cant draw much during the day regardless of being left alone or not bc i get frustrated having to anticipate things like eating....i just want to get in the zone for hrs and not have to care abt such things...

whatever the amount is its definitely not enough and i was going to try to actually calculate it before i realized itd just make me sad. all i do is waste time

But erm yeah new oc ☠️ idk why I chose to name her that but like it is what it is [there's a dick joke and there's a symbolism with the name 😭😭😭😭 it's too perfect to not use it ☠️☠️☠️]

Anyways, info about her

She's. Similar. Like Ray. Except she's more on the consequences of other's actions. In her story, it's neglect, slavery and whatnot, I'm not gonna mention anymore 😭 Her personality however is cold but really kind and caring, unless you hurt her only family.....

Just like Oct, she prefers to go about her days but she doesn't mind it if you wanted to fight

She's the oldest, the firstborn of the family bloodline and she took on the role of a parent for her siblings and cousins [Oct is the cousin] Protecting them from harm in any ways she can but... ofc she doesn't always succeed...

Despite being born in a blood bending family, her ability seems to be different... like a black magic. She can turn parts of herself, or... her whole self, into weapons or creatures or objects, literally anything, just like Oct's blood bending. The only thing she can't do is healing.

In the recent story where Oct has left the hometown, Dixie does get so damn worried. Oct was one of her favorites. No.... not like favoritism... but more like Oct requires more care than the rest besides Tess
