Absolutely LOVED this story! I've reread this one a number of times, and keep going back for more. Alphera's writing is so good! Ye Xiu is the series protagonist so things usually follow him, which makes it refreshing to see a story through Han Wenqing's eyes. And the author does it SO WELL! AHHH!

It's been a while since my first read-through, but I'm pretty sure this was the first TKA fic that I actually downloaded and started typesetting. Absolutely chuffed to have it finished! (Love me some growth-- the typeset looks a LOT better than my earlier attempts!)

RAMBLES

Another sewn board binding and breakaway spine! Since this isn't my first go at it, the construction of the book was considerably faster and smoother than my last one. It's just as well, because I ran into a speed bump that stretched out how long it took to typeset and print.

The culprit: (very pretty) illustrations. My laser's colour printing capabilities are shot to hell, so I used my inkjet for the artwork. This involved creating 3 copies of my typeset: 1) the completed typeset; 2) just the text, images hidden; 3) just the images, text hidden/white. Then I ran them through the imposer and printed the text version. The real issue was figuring out how to feed the sheets through my inkjet printer to print the images where I want them. Had to go one page at a time, single-sided. (Just need to place sheet facedown in the tray. So flip along vertical axis.) It took a while, but I got there in the end. And the results were SO worth it! 😊

For the scene breaks I left them as written. I had tried inserting images of the Glory Logo and account card, or using crossed swords emojis ⚔️, but nothing I tried worked as well as what the author did. (It's really neat! Different characters were used to indicate the direction of the timeskip: >>>> for a jump forward in time; <<<< for a flash into the past; and ==== for regular scene breaks, a 'next' rather than 'before' or 'later/after'.)

The cover and endpapers were based off of Shirou's fantastic cover illustration of HQW and YX walking hand-in-hand down a beach at sunset. The art itself is phenomenal so I had it stand alone as a frontispiece and didn't do anything fancy with the title page. For the covers, I looked through my decorative paper stash for something red or black to represent HWQ or Team Tyranny. What I found was paper with pinks, oranges, and purples similar to that illustration -- and that was that. I liked how the colours matched the art, and the gold splashed across it. (Gold for victory, gold for wedding rings and a happy golden future together.)

(Sidenote: I love how the beginning of the end of HWQ's career as an e-sports player "starts with a tingle in his ring finger", leading him and YX to taking the next steps in their relationship and eventually getting married 💍🖐)

I went with a red bookcloth for the spine because it's a common team colour for Tyranny, Excellent Era, and Happy. It also represents good fortune, courage, passion, and love -- things that come to mind when I think about YX, HWQ, and HanYe. The particular shade of red I used is Madeira. It's darker than Ruby Red and leans a little cooler, which suits the decorative paper more.

The endpapers use two background images (overlayed, adjusted, using multiple blending modes) and some images of HWQ and YX from The King's Avatar Wikia.

The background images are from Rawpixel -- I was just minding my own business looking for images of clouds and maybe some mountains to represent overcoming challenges/glory/looking up to the sky, when I found some clouds with the same sunset colours of Shirou's art. Figured it was too perfect, and if I'm going to lean into that design-wise, I might as well go whole hog and full-ass it. Then I found a starry night sky to add some darker blues and stars to it to match. After that it was a matter of overlapping them and positioning them to fit. I also grabbed some images of HWQ and YX from the King's Avatar Wikia and added them to it because HanYe. (After removing the backgrounds).

Here's another giant ask because I've been thinking about this for a while and I needed to share it with somebody.

The scavenger chieftain is really merciful towards Arti, given the circumstances. When I first reached that part, I was expecting to be sniped by a spear from across the map. But he doesn't attack you, despite having every reason to. Like, the Metropolis scavengers most likely have literally nothing to do with the scavengers that killed Arti's kids, and it's not like they understand why Arti is doing what she's doing. The scav king knows Arti has killed countless members of his group, probably people he knew personally and cared about. Maybe even his family.

But he doesn't attack you. You have to start the fight. He just points to the exit. He wants you to back away, to stop before you take this final step and seal your fate. He should have all the reasons in the world to want you dead by now, but he gives you a final chance to walk away.

It's what made me interested in the scav king as a character. For some reason, he doesn't want to fight you. One idea I had is that he's well aware of Arti being trapped in a cycle of violence, either due to having experienced something similar or his understanding of karma. (He has the mark of communication and I'm willing to bet he's met the Metropolis echo, who was also trapped in a cycle of violence. He's probably heard an explanation of the cycles and karma from Five Pebbles as well.) So, he knows very well what Arti is getting herself into and hopes that maybe she can still see reason before it's too late.

Another idea I had, and this is totally fanon and not supported by anything in-game but I thought it sounded fun- what if they knew each other before? Like, what if they were friends all the way back when Arti lived in the Garbage Wastes and wasn't hostile to scavengers, and the scav king was just a normal dude. Just a regular John J. Scavenger. Eventually, he finds the citizen ID drone and brings a bunch of his friends to the Metropolis, gets the mark of communication from Five Pebbles (who, I imagine at this point, doesn't really care that much if the scavengers live in his city and only gets mad at them once they start ripping out bits of his can). Flash forward years later and this normal scav is now a chieftain with a prosperous tribe, and he's wondering what happened to that weird red slugcat he met all those years ago when they re-appear out of nowhere and begin violently murdering his tribe members. That would be A Little Awkward Huh.

That's just my silly little headcanon, I'd love to hear your thoughts though. How do you interpret the scav king's actions here?

bro, you pretty much just summed up exactly why i ship them lol.

the scav king is the ONE person who refuses to treat arti like a monster, even when she's so far gone that she even disgusts and horrifies herself. he's the one person who will not feed into her spiral of self-loathing, no matter how hard she tries to earn his hatred. he refuses to strike first no matter how many times she tries to kill him. he always tries to reason with her. he always fights one-on-one, even though he has an entire kill squad ready to back him up.

but he doesnt let her victimize him, either. he gives her a choice, and he respects the choice she makes even when it's the wrong one. he kills her without hesitation when she forces his hand, but then he's always ready to offer mercy again, always ready to give her another chance.

and i just feel like that's exactly what arti needs. someone who is both compassionate enough and resilient enough to weather the storm of her rage until it burns itself out, and still be willing to offer mercy when she's finally ready to accept it.

RIGHT, ok. so. motivation. lets do this.

first of all I love the idea that they knew each other in the past. it would make a lot of sense, and it'd fit perfectly with my headcanon that arti used to be friends with the garbage wastes scavs before everything went to hell. and I love the drama that would come from two old friends having to fight each other to the death.

it's not the case in my personal headcanon though, just because I already have a backstory fleshed out for the scav king that would make it pretty much impossible for them to have met before.

however, i DO think that he sympathizes with arti because he's been though something similar. I think he lost someone very important to him when he was young, and just like arti, he also threw himself into a futile quest for revenge because he didnt know how else to cope. but instead of going on solo rampage, he raised a whole ass army and started a war.

he got to where he is through sheer spite and thirst for vengeance. he never really wanted to be a leader; he just wanted manpower to throw at his enemy. but after seeing his people get killed in service to him, he realized he is responsible for them now, and he needs to put their safety and wellbeing before his vendetta. so, while he is still angry and he does still carry his old grudge, it no longer consumes his life. he's learned that there are more important things to live for.

so, yeah, he definitely understands arti's rage. and he sympathizes with her, because he has his own people's blood on his hands, too. but he's learning, and he's trying to be better, and he believes that arti can be better too if someone gives her a reason to try.

...also, his default personality has 0.00 aggression and 0.99 sympathy stats, so he is arguably just wired to be Like That, lol

(i say 'default' because technically his stats are randomized each time you fight him, but he always uses the same sprite, which is scav king ID 8875. so to me that ID's stats are the canon ones, lol )

OKAY THE KINKY BLUES HAS ME INTRIGUED PLEAAASE HEAR ME OUT ON SUGGESTIONS/BRAINSTORMING/HOPES/DREAMS. alright so it cant be in Temptation, the kink requires its own pocket dimension, first of all. as the biggest fanboygirl of their cycle of dominance and submission im gonna start off with that. a really fun and naturally flowing dom-sub dynamic for them is born in ancient egypt. if set put her aside as his property and tried to experiment with her ka with slowly increasing pressure whilr kisara was like "this kind man who saved me twice feeds me and shelters me who cares if hes tying me down and writing spells on my skin lol" it goes apeshit from there. TWO-this can be from many modern aus with little work, basically an in love blueship that seemlessly slipped into a dom-sub dynamic consciously switching it up a lil. whether that has seto giving orders while tied up on his knees or kisara begging to tie him up would be..that would go BRRRR. THREE. biting kink. straight up. no notes. id be fine with a 400 word introspective of either of one of them watching the bite marks they left on the other and their feelings about it. id settle. itd be enough.

anyway okay now you got me started so strap in because this is gonna be a long ramble. so i feel like there’s several points about how i imagine their dynamic that i have to unpack here (putting it under a cut bc length or if ppl are uncomfy with this stuff)

i am unfortunately boring in the way that i’ll ultimately always wanna write Seto as the dominant one just bc of my own personal preferences. BUT that obv doesn’t mean Kisa wouldn’t have a fair amount of control over the situation, both bc a healthy dom/sub dynamic requires it in terms of consent and boundaries ofc, but also bc a) Seto is so extreme in his need for Kisara’s explicit permission to do basically anything to her (even the vanilla stuff) because he’s so painfully precious about her well-being and also constantly plagued by not feeling worthy of her and b) while i think Kisa wants to be dominated i think she also realllly enjoys the control of knowing she’s got Seto wrapped around her little finger and could make him do any depraved thing she wants to her just by looking at him in the right way. so yeah i think they both know who’s really in control behind the scenes lol

i’m also DYING to get into Seto’s inevitable mental struggle to reconcile his thoughts and feelings of “she is a perfect goddess and i’m a mere mortal unworthy of even looking at her let alone touch her” and “i’d die to protect her and if anyone hurts her i’ll fucking kill them” vs his desire to be the one who gets to take this perfect goddess and make her submit to him, kneel before him, own and control and ruin her perfectly (because if there’s one thing we all know about Seto Kaiba is that he’ll make sure the divine yields to him, and not the other way around). I guess the key things there is that he alone is allowed to hurt her and no one else.

On this note i do however think Seto would be so conflicted about physically hurting Kisa, even if she very clearly and explicitly wants him to, because he just struggles with being so overprotective of her and not wanting to see her injured or in pain. but this would also be delicious to write him being all conflicted due to the guilt of causing her pain vs the fact that doing so is super fucking hot and he can’t resist doing it, esp not when she’s literally begging him to. Taking all of his frustrations after a long day out on her more than willing body would be so cathartic and tempting but also associated with so much guilt and worry about getting too into it and going too far.

I also definitely see Kisa as being the more extreme of them, to the point where i can actually see her be just a little bit unhealthily masochistic because she doesn’t really value herself due to past trauma, giving her a self-destructive streak and kinda fucked-up notions along the lines of ultimately being deserving of pain and suffering, that someone hurting her equals caring about her and wanting her, and that the ultimate thing she can do to show someone that she really loves and trusts them is to just offer herself up completely to use and do whatever they want to, which Seto would have to try to handle and mitigate because he’s ultimately not gonna let her use him to actually really hurt herself (and you know it would also break his heart a thousand times over to realise just how little she values and cares about herself due to her fucked up past). But I could also write it kinda funny in that whole “sub suggesting increasingly violent/fucked up things while the dom goes ‘idk that’s scary’” lmao. I think Kisa is a bit annoyed that people (especially Seto) tend to see her as this fragile, porcelain flower and wants to prove that she is perfectly capable of taking a (consensual) beating.

Outside of strictly sexual stuff i can also see Kisa as very much an ‘everyday/domestic acts of service’ kinda sub who just wants to bring Seto his coffee when he’s working and a drink when he comes home from work and make sure to always wash and iron his clothes and put them out before he leaves in the morning, tying his tie before he leaves and untying it when he gets home and cooking and serving his meals for him (which tbh wouldn’t just be about her being submissive but also bc she just wants to make sure he actually takes care of himself with like, eating and taking coffee breaks bc you know that man doesn’t take care of himself if left unchecked). And I think this also ties in with her sense of self-worth being tied to being useful and helping others because she doesn’t really see herself as valuable unto herself, but also maybe acts of service is just kinda her “love language” too. i feel like this is the sort of thing i could maybe include in Temptation bc she’s already pretty much like this there, with to me pretty obvious undertones that her working as Seto’s assistant is definitely triggering a submissive side in her.

Temptation also has the whole thing with Seto secretly enjoying Kisa wearing her KaibaCorp pin while working because it marks her as his for the world to see, and I definitely feel like that’d be a thing for him too. Branding her, either by things like visible bite marks/hickeys that she’s not allowed to cover up or something like a discreet necklace that is actually a collar (although tbf, with the fashion we see in the Yugioh universe, would anyone even blink at a BDSM-style collar? Like Yugi’s already wearing fetish gear as his everyday clothes lmao). I mean, Seto’s already pretty big on putting his branding on literally everything, so Kisa would be no exception (also imagine the ridiculous extravagance and amount of money and care Seto would put into a collar for Kisa).

While I’m not really into the idea of Seto being submissive per se, I do think both he and Kisa could easily have praise kinks because they both crave validation in their own ways and for someone to telling them that they’re doing/being good (Seto wouldn’t admit that though, but if I allow for some submissiveness on his part I think being called a good boy could fix him). But with him as the dom it also totally tracks for him to make Kisa worship him and stroke his ego in that way. On that theme, however, I could also imagine him making her allow him to worship her as a kind of ‘punishment’ bc he knows she has a hard time accepting that but that it’s also something that’s good for her to hear.

Also I can totally see Kisa being a little bratty as a sub sometimes because she likes to talk back to Seto and be deliberately cheeky, disrespectful and provocative (both because she enjoys the control of getting him riled up and because she knows that the more she gets him worked up the more forceful and intense he’ll be about putting her back into place afterwards).

It’s nice to be back drawing in this increasingly interesting drawing challenge where I turn colorful orbs into character designs.  For this batch, we have the remaining Incarnations for this AU, one you can find more info about HERE (AO3) and HERE (Previous Art)!  Well... all except one.  But they’re getting their own post.

Galacta Knight: The third youngest Incarnation, he is the Incarnation of Ambition.  He is Victory or Death, and he was chained and made a weapon for it.  He carved his way a quarter through the galaxy before he turned on his captors, only to be imprisoned permanently in a crystal only the power of a Wishing star can break.  Technically much, much older than Meta-Knight and Kirby, but only be sheer years of existence.  Much of those years he’s spent in a crystal, with nothing to do except think and stare into the cosmos, until some big shot wishes him free to challenge him.  No one was one a duel with him yet.

Morpho Knight: The oldest of the Incarnations, even older than Dark Matter, they are the Incarnation of Judgement.  They are the silent watcher of everything, able to keep tabs on all powerful beings of the Universe, including other Incarnations.  They follow an unknowable schedule, where they emerge to complete judgements only they know the criteria to.  They feel a degree of pity for many of their Voidborn siblings, especially Galacta and Dark Matter.  They/It pronouns.

Elfilin: The happy, kind, compassionate half of Fecto Elfilis, and the new Incarnation of Dreams.  He is childish wonder, and Kirby’s newest good friend.  He is much older than Kirby, despite his appearance, although he only started existing as a separate entity relatively recently.  After remerging with Fecto Forgo and becoming the dominant side, he much more free warps between Dreamland and the Forgotten Land.

Fecto Forgo: The unstable, ambitious, unfeeling half of Fecto Elfilis, also known as Specimen ID-F86.  It is all the true power of the Incarnation of Dreams, including mind manipulation, spacial warping, and telepathy.  It is angry and incomplete without Elfilin, and isn’t above uplifting and manipulating the minds of the animals of the Forgotten World to track him down and remerge.  It was what initially opened the warp to Dreamland, perhaps finding the hole left behind by the previous Great Warp Event to Popstar.

Fecto Elfilis: The complete, original, all-powerful form of the Incarnation of Dreams.  Elfilis is all of the ambition and power of Fecto Forgo, and the childish recklessness and carefree nature of Elfilin.  He actively suppresses Elfilin’s compassion and emotional influence, instead choosing to warp wherever and whenever he pleases, regardless of the damage it may cause.  He is responsible for the disappearance of humans from the Forgotten Land in the Great Warp Event, warping their bodies and minds and sending them to Dreamland, although the power of this ripped him in two.

Nightmare Wizard: One of the older Incarnations, Nightmare is the Incarnation of Fear.  He is charismatic and charming on first meeting, but is ultimately sadistic and manipulative, tricking Meta Knight, King Dedede, and eventually Kirby.  He is able to invade and manipulate the mind and dreams of others and feeds off the fear and terror he causes.  He had a kind of mentorship role to Meta Knight, although that position left Meta afraid of his own body and mind for a very long time.  He is the sadistic ghost that haunts the Dream Fountain, and Meta fears every day he will find a way to escape the Star Rod one day.

Next time I post to this series, it will be Kirby’s cosmic opposite, and the miserable “family” that makes up its components.

Good evening Mortals (or morning, as its well past midnight) i just finished re-reading a biography i wrote for Fell sans for an Undertale rp server im in, and i liked it so much i figure id post it here for you lot to marvel at, I hope you enjoy! And get some sleep, as much as you try to be youre not owls Underfell belongs to @/underfell (no dip)

Sans remembers a time when monster kind fought to escape their claustrophobic prison, when His father hoped to science monster kind out of the underground and the residents of the underground looked after each other as their own kin; all they had to combat the despair that made itself at home under the mountain. He remembers his fathers desperate attempts at clawing his way to freedom;with all of the monster race on his back, he remembers trying to lighten the load of his fathers responsibility by splitting it with him. Becoming an assistant to the royal scientist early in his life the gifted sans had a front row seat to the descent of wingdings’ madness. 

But he can't remember when things got so bad, when the underground lost trust in gaster’s methods; When monsters lost trust in their own kind and friends became foe. Perhaps it was after the first human fell, When Asgore welcomed them with open arms and the royal family gained a new member. It's only expected of monsters to blame the humans who trapped them in the first place for the downfall of their society, it's what the king would have them believe.

But what child as meek and kind souled as Chara Could turn neighbors and loved ones against each other? What child as considerate as Chara could be responsible for the hatred and distrust that transformed the underground from a bearable prison into a hellish deathtrap?  When the whispers of the death of the dear adopted human reached the royal subjects of the Dreemur family and news of the untimely demise of the beloved prince:Asriel followed, no monster blamed them for the world they’d left behind, 

A world where any one who pointed a finger at a newly divorced king was locked away, or simply disappeared, The slowly maddening doctor and the queen of the underground rumored to be victims of Asgore's new methods of ruling, Methods brutal enough to cost a disobedient subject their Sanity, or better yet, Their soul. 

Sans tries not to remember the palpable hopelessness that poured from his soul the day he stood before a haggard looking Asgore, tries to forget how time slowed down as he reached out his fluffy yet menacing claw and settled it on his suddenly leadlined skull. If sans had any breath to begin with it would have been chased out of him by the horror of what the weight of Asgore's greasy ruthless paw meant. 

He can't forget the shout in his ear canal, muffled by the fearful buzzing that had made itself known in Fells skull as he’d accepted his fate as fresh dust for the king's somehow flourishing buttercups to feed on. The memory repeats in his mind like a dvd scratched to hell..while the rest of his memories are choppy, or missing entirely, The force from being shoved backwards, The familiar firm voice of his impossibly brave little brother. The dread in Sans's soul when he realized his brother had dared argue with the newly homicidal king still sits heavy at the bottom of his culmination.

He now laughs at the confusion that then mingled with his fear, offput by the pleasant surprise in what he can hear of the kings voice, first chiding his brother for such foolish courage, then praising him for it in the same breath, offering his younger sibling a deal that sans could only try to warn his brother against. The continuation of his existence, for papyrus’ allegiance to the guard. To the King. 

Papyrus agrees before sans can find the words to protest. But of course, it's never that simple with gore. His iron fist couldn't leave Papyrus’s brazen retaliation unpunished, so he swiftly marred his brother's sins into his skull with the points of his dark claws.

He still hears the screech of claw against bone, His brothers pained sound hitting a similar pitch as he was used as a scratching post for an oversized tyrant. His soul still flares up with the same anger that engulfed him as Gores' claw wretched itself from Papyrus’s face. He still wears the sweat from shutting off when his brother snaps at him for such an attempt at insubordination. Especially when the damage was already done. The blood was already spilled, the change already made and irreversible, even if Sans risked his fragile life failing to teach the unhinged ruler a pointless lesson.

He can't shake the shame that clung to him as he followed his brother out of the throne room. He's ever heavy from the embarrassment of making his brother save his life; of making his brother join that lunatics ranks; Of letting his brother become a grimm mural of what bravery could get you in a kingdom like Asgores. 

Days since then have been a blur of red and black, of gold and green, days that slur together into the same one again and again, wake up, do the bare minimum, watch his back, watch his brothers back, get home alive, fight off nightmares, rinse and repeat. It's not so different than it was before when sans thinks about it. The passage of time that meant nothing but the approach of death. Not a matter of if but when, when someone would do to sans what he’d brought himself to do to so many other monsters. 

When his dreams of finding his brother the victim of someone like himself become a bitter and painfully tangible reality. 

Such thoughts never get a chance to escape the trap that was Sans's tired mind, locked behind an apathetically amused facade and a high wall he put between himself and others. In his effort to hide himself from the world, he managed to build a barrier that locked out even his only family, Family that resiliently tried still to scale his walls. But Sans would never come out from his protective fortress, his smile and tired sockets are all the former friends filling the fallen underground get to see. 

 But there is one stranger who doesn't see him. A mysterious voice behind the long forgotten ruin doors that laugh at his jokes and tell ones just as awful as his. A stranger that tells him their vague secrets and their inexplicit fears. Perhaps it's because they don't know the husk of a monster they spoke to on the other side, because Sans was convinced they'd never have a face to judge, only a tired voice. Maybe for these reasons Sans felt he could do the same.

But every now and again he dreams a human hobbles its way beyond the ruins doors, a wilted flower in their company..and once sans makes his way back to the suddenly foreboding doors, his customary Knocks are ignored; Or rather answered by the empty silence of a soul no longer present.

thinking about when Amity stopped herself from watching Luz’s video without her permission despite being immensely worried. thinking about when she confronted Luz and made sure to communicate first and comforted her instead of accusing her of stuff and how Healing it was for me to watch that. thinking of Lumity’s enemies to lovers and how obsessed i was and how completed i felt. this ship meant so much to me no one will ever know. forever the kiss scene the animation the dialogue everything i will cry thinking about it Every Time 

thinking about Willow and Gus’s friendship. thinking about them so hard. i personally relate to both Willow and Gus soooo strongly. Willow is me in so many aspects: the therapist friend, kind of underestimated, sort of the mom but also cradled as the child and Gus is just a silly guy as well as the smallest one in the friend group which i highly relate to. strangers tell me and my twin sister apart by me being smaller than her and my friends call me short and small on a daily basis. okay and them together is Crazy. i loved the way they met and Willow’s tactic to calm down ive been using for a few months now whenever i have a really bad day. and it genuinely helps so Fucking much so i will forever owe that to TOH. i think my dream will always be to have friends like the two of them 

don’t Even fucking get me started on King and Eda and Hooty and Luz and the actual owl house. my home actually. they mean the absolute most to me out of the whole show. when they reunited in s3 i cried for a good hour. im shedding a tear writing this. oh my fucking god i don’t know what it is about them but their found family thing they have going on is insane. they will honestly forever mean more to me than the hexsquad. no words will explain how much like home they feel to me. on my worst days i imagine being there. oh MY GOSH OH MY GOD AND WHEN EDA SAID “alright, kid. listen to me. im going away, and i don't know if i can bounce back this time. watch over King, remember to feed Hooty. and Luz, thank you for being in my life”. top 10 hardest times i cried. I sobbed so hard my chest hurt. 

ok next Hunter. to be honest i was never the biggest fan of him merely because of how over hyped he was by the fandom just because they all had crushes on him but he’s genuinely such a cool guy. he was such fucking good representation and idk but the way we got to watch him form relationships with everyone. it was beautiful. and i heavily relate to him despite him being a sort of grouchy dude and me being an overexcited puppy. he’s got this gifted kid burnout and obsession with validation vibe that is identical to mine and it means a lot to me to see my weirdest most annoying toxic traits seen in him

okay as you can tell im unhealthily attached to this show. these paragraphs are kind of silly but i don’t think anyone will Ever Ever understand no matter how many words i write . i remember starting the show in quarantine and being so obsessed with it and staying in bed all day. i had to hold in my smiles all the time it was exhausting. one time i tried to explain the show to my sister and i cried and couldn’t stop. it’s been a while since it’s ended but i still think about it on a weekly basis.

But as they began to grow close to the Chosen One they began to learn what real affection felt like and couldn't bring themself to betray the Chosen One so they're just living with them now.

Story: The Dark Lord's first attempt at making a stick to oppose the Chosen One, Royal was "born" with no noticeable powers to speak of, despite registering as extremely viral. He was abandoned by the Dark Lord. He had no idea that the Dark Lord made more after him.

Allowed to roam free he travelled the Net, visiting various PCs over the years and exploring many different games. Unfortunately he discovered his viral nature and need to consume data meant he could never stay anywhere very long.

Additional tidbits: He has learned extensive coding and scan functions, enabling him to feed without destroying the stick he’s feeding off of. He often uses his memory modification abilities to get away without paying for anything or needing ID. Despite not being an adult yet he is as tall as King.

She's lived in the same village outside of StickCity her whole life, and for most of it, her next-door neighbour and best friend has been Gold. She kept him out of at least half of the trouble he could've gotten into (the other half she was right there beside him).

She was supposed to be with Gold and his Dad that night, but she made plans to go with some of her female friends. It was their last year in high school and losing Gold didn't help her grades or help her get into the big veterinary school in the city she wanted to go to.

Now she works at the local convenience store, Wants, while trying to figure out her life without Gold.

i don't think my thoughts on vil would be much different than many other twst players? despite certain wasted potential and sloppy writing made by the creators, i definitely believe he has one of the best personalities and the best developments. and also despite the fact that vil is largely mischaracterized by the fandom, he's also loved by many like me who have already written many comprehensive essays about his given complexity. if you'd still want me to analyze the content about vil's character and share my own thoughts about him then i sure can! but it'd likely just be a reiteration of what others have said. however if you would like to know what i think about more subjective and niche areas of his personality, where in my own inference and deduction comes into play (basically headcanons), then please ask away!!

i feel this is also applicable for rook, and more so; because of his enigmatic personality some players have come up with rather unique takes on him to fill in the gaps so i dont feel what i say would differ much from the interpretations of his existing material nor that much interesting compared to how some view him.

despite all that, if you're still interested in what i have to say about them then please bear with me because id have to come up with a comprehensive template/structure that allows me to go balls to the walls insanium in tha cranium about them to the fullest!!

New Generation Stars: While Katsumi feels like they should leave things to Asahi, Isami insists on thinking about her, first the Halloween party, then her awakening as Ultrawoman Grigio, and lastly her battle alongside Zero, which finally triggers her data, though he is now worried she will be annoyed by them.

Geats: Ukiyo Ace has vanished, but no one knows what happened to him, similarly, Sara now has no idea what happened to Keiwa. Kyuun notes Neon has forgotten everything, and while hearing her sound happy about a marriage interview stings, he thinks she's better off not knowing. As she gives him his belt, Beroba points out to Michinaga he's being the exact same as the Riders he hates, which he acknowledges, but doesn't care, also he is no longer part Jamato. Chirami gathers possibly all the ID Cores they have, telling Tsumuri the desperate struggles will be good entertainment, and seemingly caring nothing for the lives of the people of this world. Sueru notes to the Goddess of Creation that the time is upon them. As John and Ben note Neon has been different lately, missing her escaping, Tsumuri approaches and regretfully gives them their old Cores and Drivers, she also approaches Neon and leaves the equipment, but can't bring herself to say more. Before she can touch the Core Buffa Musou Zombie bursts in, telling her not to touch the Core while fighting John & Ben, who tell her to run, and both go to henshin, John using Beat, Ben using Fever. Neon is caught by Beroba, who forces her to touch the Core breaking her as Kyuun finds her, while Buffa destroys both John and Ben's cores, forcibly retiring them. Neon tells Kyuun to help her remember next time, and he offers her a place in the future. Buffa defeats Nagayama Kazunori, Kamen Rider Groovy, a Rider using Ninja, wiping out the active rider slate, to Chirami's distress, as there was even a Desishin in the roster. He goes through the remaining ID Cores, and tosses away the best option, Geats, which Tsumuri takes, and then decides to request help from the supporters, promising Ziin and Kekera he will revive their chosen Riders if they help defeat Buffa, Ziin agreeing, but Kekera's response is less clear as he leaves, then Michinaga breaks in, returning the Vision Driver so he can eliminate the few remaining Riders, Ziin and Glare2. They fight, Ziin defeated first, and Glare2 offering more wishes, but the only other ideal world he wants is one without the DGP, as goes to strike, as Tsumuri asks Ace via the ID Core what should be done, the attack is suddenly interrupted, as Ukiyo Ace appears, the ID Core having vanished from Tsumuri's hand, and transforming into Geays Magnum Boost. Buffa tells him not to try it, only for Geats to instead target Glare2. Sueru notes Tsumuri is awakening. Minor note, apparently John's form is called Garun and Ben's is Lancer, and he was also using Beat via Fever.

Kingohger: The Shugoddom citizens believe Racles must be responsible for saving them with God Hooper, which leaves just as suddenly. As Racles wants Gira's body found, Gira briefly ponders if Racles deliberately failed to kill him, but dismisses it, he is ordered by the kings to stay hidden, though each on splitting immediately orders their retainer to bring Gira t their kingdom, as Deathnarok, remorseful for the destruction that kill he done to Tikyu, orders attacks on all 5 kingdoms, steadily going to each to feed nutrients to the cocoons while fighting the king. Shiokara, Sebastian and Kuroda run into eachother, and pretend not to know what eachother was doing, offering Gira safety, but are warned away from Ishabana, and have to leave N'Kosopa after a near miss with Dougram, they head to Tofu, where the truth comes out, only for Morfonia to grab Gira and drag him to Gokkan, also in Tofu Kaguragi questions Racles on the "rumours" actually him seeing it himself, that Shugoddom has another Guardian Spirit, getting a veiled threat. Gira finds they're all ridiculous, but as the attack begins on earnest Morfonia has him fight in King-Ohger. Batta appears, Gira realising it lives Sasorin, and tells it to ask how it feels on person, before joining to defeat the Bugnarok. However, he finds Deathnarok over the other retainers, Morfonia finding a beaten Rita, as he activates the Cocoons, preparing to bring destruction.

Dogengers: Akuta makes his introduction to the Dogengers, as Yoriki explains to Shiraishi that he was the one who gave the instructions to use the Wappa. Akuta explains about the Oshikawa Group arrest, and how the members refused to talk about what did them in, but they now have the sketch of Yuz-Yuz. At AHK, Yabai Kamen is also stressed about the news, not the Oshikawa arrest, but Dangomushiman's, Nectaris goes out for work, Yuz-Yuz decides to follow. Shiraishi and Akuta on patrol are informed the two are at FoodWay, chased by an employee after Yuz-Yuz unknowingly steals a snack, when Yamashiron shows up, greeting Nectaris, and immediately fulfills Yuz-Yuz's goal of acquiring his business card. Shiraishi arrives, and is promoted by Akuta to have his first proper change, and how to switch his gun to the Yudoto and defeat the soldiers with Redron, before spotting Yuz-Yuz. She has no data of Shiraishi, but returns the business card before leaving. Redron returns to his friend fighting Nectaris, recalling their work together, forms Yamashiron, and inspires Shiraishi's policeman heart, together the two working together to defeat Nectaris, who is subsequently detained. Yamashiron has to rush to work, in the aftermath Shiraishi feels demoralised, but is encouraged by Akuta.

Juuga Vs Olteca: George films a vlog of his morning routine, and discussed his plan to use the Juuga Driver to complete his Humanity as Kamen Riders project. For help updating the Juuga Driver, he goes to Nobel Prize winner Sawagami Rinna, who is in a mood with Otta at the moment, but is already helping a certain Hatsushiba Makoto with the Demons Driver, and seems quite taken with him. The one who freed him promised him the secret of human evolution in exchange for the Juuga Driver. Rinna gives Orteca the Demons Driver and Daiouika vistamp, but then gets wound up over her belief of Otta having an affair and doesn't help George, further, Hiromi is out of action after doing a test of courage with Ikki and Kagerou. As Olteca wanders, he is filmed by the same hooded figure filming the earlier fight, as members of Neo Deadmans meet, lead by Natsuki Hana.
