sort of headcanon/bit i have for myself, copy pasted from cara

his usual uniform is definitely not made for hotter climates. he thinks that its stupid they put him with a furry jacket when they're literally stationed on an island, so when he hears that there will be a different uniform made for fire mountain, a volcanic climate, he's ecstatic. it was saved all this time for this mission, and features a vest, shorts, and a whole new mask, all made to be insulated enough for him to not drop dead like a roach the moment he steps foot there

however, as we know, the fire mountain needle was pulled by lucas and co., so unfortunately he doesnt even get a chance to wear it for more than ten minutes, because he's asked to return to the usual

they burned it for resources and to try and make back for the material lost. nobody is happy

this is also a good showcase of a visual prototype for the exterior of a redesign for his prosthetic arm!! im going to be doing a lot of research and build it from the ground up, so its subject to change

also ill turn up with a more proper drawing of the outfit displayed, the voices for making jokes are louder than the serious working voices

I think the reason people believe chuuya would be the more open and affectionate in soukoku (as like. A romantic relationship) is because they believe him to be the mentally stable one and i think the reason people seem to believe he’s one of the few “mentally stable” characters in bsd is because he does not let himself be seen as vulnerable, and the few times we do see him go through something genuinely horrible and having a moment of vulnerability he does not really have the time to truly process it and ends up “moving on” pretty quickly (for example when he was at the flags’ funeral and adam interrupted him, or how when the sheep betrayed him dazai was immediately at his side trying to convince him to join the pm). And even if he does process it and thinks “man that was pretty fucked up wasnt it” it is never shown on screen so i feel like a lot of viewers end up seeing it as him not being bothered by these events and just a pretty chill dude that doesnt wallow in grief or self pity. But i think him never wallowing in grief or self pity is kind of a problem because in the end all he is doing is suppressing all that trauma and not really trying to acknowledge it, but at the same time when he does he ends up pinning the blame on himself (how the sheeps betrayal was his fault, the flags dying because of him). I feel like this impacts how affectionate he is too because he has built up so many walls that at the point when the flags make a party to celebrate the one year anniversary of him joining the pm he gets suspicious, then surprised and then flustered and tries acting like he doesnt care about it. All this is to say that i think him believing he cant show weakness and has to maintain the facade of being “the strongest” makes him seem like some regular degular guy (if he’s not fighting dragons) ends up him getting viewed as some mentally stable, communicative guy with maaaybe just a bit of anger issues when in reality he got so embarrassed by dazai’s corny speech in mersault that he shot him in the head with a gun

its common sense jack has the biggest heart and it doesnt take much to see that BUT the fact that he allowed those kids to be angry with him for scabbing and didnt blame them at all really solidifies that for me. he has done Everything for them to keep them warm, fed & sheltered for a Long time and the second he scabbed they flipped out on him like hes never made a single sacrifice. no one questioned that he was acting strange. and still he was okay with that.

when he was talking to the scabs he dealt with them with patience. he talked to them. he understood where they came from. no one even attempted to have the same energy for him. and he was okay with that.

OH MY GOD THEYD BE THE ABSOLUTE WORST PARENTS EVER. because see i think like for a week maybe it could work out but pretty fast things would go south bc theyd compliment eachother in the worst ways possible. I think i talked abt all this stuff in my balad of arjun teena (my itager fanchild scenario) but ill say it all again YATTA! Germany would be an absolutely terrible father because hed prioritize his kid and love them more than anything else but hed be so bad at doing things right. bro huys the parenting manuels and fails them so hard bc he sounds like a robot to his kid all the time and sucks at being able to emotionally connect even though hes trying his best. and hes also the one always taking care of the kid bc hes a go getter and italys lazy but this just makes their kid dislike germany more bc they always gotta put up with his ass (and also bc the universe hates germany I think that no matter what the kid will always accidentally take germany's words the wrong way and germany will just get up and leave bc at some point he realizes there is no possible way he can recover from these misunderstandings and saying anything more will just make it worss).

Italy would be a terrible dad in the completely opposite because hed be a super chill and nice parent but like on the inside lowkey not like his kid that much RODF. Like hed think theyre fine but would think oh my GOD can this bitch leave already im tryna go on an impromptu roadtrip across america with germany today. in a world where itager loses homeostasis (another essay I wrote in the past) he's the type of guy who would try to baby trap germany and go wait... WE HAVE TO KEEP THE BABY?!? OH HELLLL NAW!!!!! And ironically i think bc italy is so chill their kid would very obviously favor italy (even though internally germany cares about their kid WAYYY more fhan Italy does) and it would be really funny bc germany would always feel lowkey sad that their kid doesnt want to spend time with germany and then italy would be internally like omfg when can i put this bitch up for adoption. In the mpn2 cut scene with the employers, they all sorta just. Stand there, other the occasional head and hand movement to indicate they're talking

It's not until auditor talks that he, not only walks out away from the others employers, but then decides to strike a POSE before leaving!

Now, i know mpn2 has a cycle of animations they use whenever a character is talking, but i can't ignore the fact that all the others stand still when talking, and auditor decided to have such an out of place animation compared to the others
