Okay, name an underrated friendship in Modern Family, I'll go first:

Mitch and Phil. I feel like their in law relationship is so wholesome and they don't have a lot of eps together but when they do they're so cute and brotherly and it's amazing cause Phil always wanted a brother and Mitch was brought up as though Claire was his brother and its adorable and they're amazing, especially since Manny and Joe are so far apart in age to Mitch and Claire

the way some people doubted ryan gosling playing ken reminds me of how abc execs didn’t think ty burrell could play phil dunphy but the modern family producers were adamant that ty was their phil and they were absolutely right. no one could’ve played phil the way ty did and the same goes for ryan’s portrayal of ken! they both made these characters so lovable and iconic!

firstly, winston bishop is an icon truly new girl might be one of my favorite shows on the planet and one of the only ones that genuinely make me cackle. me and my best friend are nick and schmidt but like girlified lol.

secondly, I just think that the extroverted kinda bubbly funny humor that’s light and not like a mean type of humor would work. the casual dominance? yes. good with kids? yes, I’m thinking about writing a fic but idk lol I think I’ll just keep him slutty and horny for me rn. but I just feel it would be a good match :)

4) Paul Worsley( Breeders) - I want to be like Phil Dunphy when I have kids but I am pretty sure I will be like Paul. His character is so relatable ,like a glimpse of my future😂

5) David Rose- Introvert who makes few but great friends. Flamboyant and iconic tbh😎

I wish I could name more of them-Monica Geller,Chandler Bing (Friends), Yo Seri ( Crash landing on you), Gu Jun pyo( Boys over flowers) Michael Scott(the office)...so many 😭
