Day 23 #fiberuarychallenge : Colorwork These two mitten patterns were made using the #lettlopiyarn that my mom brought back for me from her latest trip to Iceland. My weekend was packed full of soccer games and revisions on my middle grade. It was busy but I feel like I got so much accomplished plus I had a blast watching my boys play (they are really amazing on that soccer pitch). This is the dedicated notebook for my current middle grade WIP. It’s full of scribbles, favorite words, character sketches, plot ideas and scenes. The Icelandic Lopi yarn is my piece of inspiration for this project which is all I’m ready to share about it right now. 🇷🇺/🇬🇧⬇️Скажите, у вас так бывает, связали что-то и вам вдруг стало жалко это продавать?🙈😹 . Мне кажется, со мной это приключилось в первый раз. . Мне настолько нравится этот свитер, что я всерьёз думаю оставить его себе. . Я очень трезво понимаю, что во второй раз я такой орнамент связать соглашусь вряд ли... Я сама не знаю, КАК он получился таким обалденным?! . Это была очередная лопапейса, которая задумывалась как классическая... Пишу и смеюсь почти в голос. Классическая... С моих спиц??? Ну, да, ну, даааа... . В общем, если совсем уж кто-то влюбится и ощутит, что жить без этого свитера не может,прям вот, от слова «совсем», тогда... когда никогда. . Will be REALLY CRAAAAAAZY warm! . ❤Size 50+ ❤Unisex. ❤Designed by Me. . ❤4 types if yarn: bulky lopi, Álafosslopi+plötulopi. . LOVE this bulky yarn. I knitted one lopapeysa for Me (yes, sometime it happens 😊) around 6-7 years ago. Very similar colours on a top. You can find it on my page as well. . I used my lopapeysa a lot. I mean A LOT! Have no idea how many trips behind of Me in that kofta, I washed it few million times and it still looks well! . So, can say, strongly recommend! . This is Swedish 100% sheep wool. I do not use something except Icelandic yarn usually, this is the only exception. Very nice quality! Not the shame to knitt together with Icelandic ones! . Ok. Absolutely her style and her colours! She looked so marvelous in this lopapeysa! . But my sweat hear tried it couple times and said: ‘Ok, mom! It’s really cute peysa, but too scratchy for Me! Can you knit something with cotton or acrylic, perhaps... please?!’ . —-ЪъЪъЙйъЪ!!! MARGOOO!!! 😝😝😝🤪 . Well, sometime our children broking our perfectionism less, than in half second...😹 .
