He hurtles inside the house, near ripping the door from its hinges.

“The little one, can’t find her!”

He doesn’t give Lira a chance to process what he’s saying, only forcibly snatches her by the arm and leverages her toward the door.

“You gotta help me find her!”

Severen seems truly panicked, his heart racing, cold skin almost warmed with the whirlwind of activity, his breath in pants as he drags his lover outside into the night.

“She was right here with me, an’ I turn’d round for a second”, he breaks off, mussed hair crazed further as he whips his head up and down the road. There are usually few people around these parts at night, but those that are stare in uncomfortable curiosity. Severen releases his grip on Lira to cup his hands over his mouth, shouting their young monstrosity’s name as he stumbles onto the road, nearly delirious with hysteria, his hands clutching into his scalp as he faces her with a look of horror writ large upon his wide eyed face.

The assembled crowd gather more members who mill around also looking for a sign of the missing child, though few are eager to approach. A couple worried women are walking toward Lira when Severen suddenly lurches forward, gagging. A thin stream of bloody saliva drips from his lips to the blacktop, he wretches again, doubling over. Hacking coughs wrack him and he crosses his arms over his chest, clutching at the collar of his shirt, tearing it in perceived pain. He shouts in agony, head thrust skyward as something bulges under the skin of his torso. Unleashing a guttural scream, one clawed limb is thrust through, splitting the flesh of his stomach in a burst of gore, spattering the street and all its occupants; stunned passersby unable to comprehend what they are witnessing.

From inside of him a creature unfolds, excavating itself from his torso in a grotesque display of mind boggling contortions.  With a wet flop it descends to the ground, leaving his innards in a shambles behind it as he drops backward in a heap.

An ear piercing shriek is loosed, those gathered flee in terror, but not before the winged beast springs upon one of them, dragging them to the ground with her jaws. Once her prey is succumbed she giddily drags them to her mother, giggling the whole way.

“April Fool!”

She snorts in merry laughter, remains of her father’s entrails still sticking in a gooey mess amongst the rest of her blood slicked body. From the pavement Severen is both laughing and moaning, trying to shove what parts of himself he can back inside.

“Th-that was a good…one” he compliments their daughter, who has begun chewing on her victim.

“Did we get ya Spark?”  He gives a sharp hiss as one of his ribs realigns.

“I sure hope so, cause I don’t think I can do that again…”

it's  not  his  fault  .  it's  not  .  hate  yourself  for  thinking  any  kind  of  DIFFERENTLY  :  you  know  yourself  to  be  a  PRIVIEGED  bitch  ,  given  things  he  would've  died  to  have  growing  up  for  ,  he  didn't  deserve  it  ,  he  didn't  deserve  ANY  OF  IT   ---  but  neither  did  you  .  neither  did  you  .  you'd  spent  years  of  your  life  searching  for  a  love  ,  searching  for  a  HIGH  that  you  could  never  get  ,  and  when  you  did  ,  when  you  DID  ,   it  left  you  high  ,  dry  ,  and  pieces  of  nothing  &&  scars  that  will  never  leave  .  how  do  you  forgive  him  ?  yourself  ?  god  ?   you're  not  sure  .  not  sure  anymore  .  )

This is something I want to one day achieve but omg rn the thought of going to ikea ALOOOONe breaks me out in hives like .. I could most likely get lost in there even though I’ve been there a million times and it is essentially just going in a circle or whatever the hell but then what if I get lost?? I stick close to a family and follow them until they eventually lead me to the exit?? That actually doesn’t sound so bad but omg going to ikea alone sounds like a dangerous task and aside from that I dunno maybe I’m just used to always going to ikea with my fam but ikea outings are so special they’re so funnn with fam I love going with them every time
