There were two primarily advantages to going on vacation and having a place for them. The first was the intimacy to do as he pleases. Waking up with his partner in bed without having to had been silent all night long so his sons wouldn't complain or make funny remarks in the morning, for instance.

And after a long night of solitude in that house, there was nothing better than waking up and leave his partner to sleep. At the very least, they deserved to osleep after the long active night. Carefully, he abandoned the bed and grabbed their clothes from the floor to throw them inside the bathroom, walking away with a jockstrap in his hand that he put on before setting a foot on the balcony. Silently moving the chair to face the fence, he straddled it after putting on the fabric, and leaned forward to rejoy in the view of the beach line in front of him with a hand moved forward so the clouds abandoned the area and left a clear sunny day for his morning to be perfect. and once that was all he could see in the sky, turned his head back to not miss a sight of the other's sleeping body, moving the sheets to cover the other's backside but enough so he could see him naked from his angle, smiling. enamored.

You curled up against your boyfriend’s best, breathing in deep and then out slow in fear that the all the air in the room will be sucked out and you’ll have nothing left.

“The waiting is worse than the dying bullshit,” Ian said, a piece of licorice sticking out of his mouth.

“Don’t talk with your mouth full,” You snapped. “Especially now.”

“Look, why don’t we just ... pick up some powertools from work ... and go kill Wendy. Then this whole thing will be over.”

“You might be comfortable with the death of someone else on your conscience but I’m not. Not even if I die a minute after, it would be Hell for me.” You said, tugging the licorice out from between his teeth and chewed on it angrily.

“It’d be worth it - and the jailtime, to know you’re still alive.” Ian muttered, laying back against the couch, ignoring the world around him for as long as he could.
