You don't have to cut them off completely but your a fool if you truly believe that their worth salvaging when they jumped ship a long time ago.

Respect yourself enough to let them go.

Don't try to make deals.

Don't try to sweeten the pot.

Their actions showed you who they truly are.

Stop making excuses for them because the truth is they never cared about you.

They never hoped you'd win.

They never wanted the best for you.

They never wanted to help you.

They wanted for you to confide in them.

They never wanted to console you.

They only wanted to control you.

They only wanted to despitefully use you.

They just got through showing you what will happen when they have no further use for you.
