J & M Legacy Home | Sims 2 Lot Download

This spacious home is built on a 4x3 lot and has a traditional look that incorporates modern touches with plenty of room for all. This lot is very lightly furnished and costs §109,656.

This lot was originally built as an upgraded house for a Legacy challenge family one of my kids was playing years ago--J and M are the initials of the founder, and his wife (who I'm pretty sure was Melissa Fancy). I've redone the upstairs, which required putting on a new roof, and I'm happy to say that for the moment I'm really pleased with how it turned out. Here's a look at the back. The white fence is a Maxis "Lost & Found" object. I'll pop a link near the lot download so you can grab it for your game too if you haven't already.

The lot looks awfully small for a legacy family you might say, and you'd be right! 🤣 I rebuilt the home on a smaller (4x3) lot so it would run faster and be more efficient for playing.

Let's take a look inside and see the floor plan! I'm using a default replacement for the Euro set porch railings so that they are plain white and don't have that ugly neon blue stripe on them. Along those same lines I've also got a default replacement for the Hydrangea shrub to make the eye-searing, neon blue flowers look more realistic. I'll have a link near the bottom of the post if you need to have them in your game too.

1st Floor: Clockwise from bottom left: Dining room, bathroom/laundry, kitchen, back entryway with office nook, family room/music room, entryway, stairs, and living room. Oh yeah, there's a garage in there too, but I bet you can pick out which space that is. 🤭

2nd Floor: Clockwise from bottom left: Master bedroom, master bathroom, kids room 1, bathroom, kids bedroom 2/nursery, kids bedroom 3, upstairs landing, and kids bedroom 4.

As usual, if you don't like something or it doesn't fit your style, tear it out and put something different in.

I’ve run this home through the Lot Compressor so any random references to sims that aren’t there should be removed. I have also run it through the Lot Cleaner to remove any bits of buggy code. This lot comes with a shiny custom thumbnail so it has even more curb appeal in your Lots and Houses bin! 😄

This home uses 3 pieces of CC which you may already have in your game. They can easily be replaced or omitted if you don’t want them though.

The Magnus Archives Animated Update 3# - Little bit of everything

Greetings 👋

I started writing this post around Easter, but I put it off, because I needed some time to recover.

Yes, I finished The Magnus Archives. And yes, despite expecting this type of ending by looking at what genre it is, I was still completely devastated. I mean 3 days of being zombie with eyes red from random whailing.

I don't regret listening to this podcast though. This story is amazing in many levels and it would take me ages to write all my thoughts.

In short, general summary:

Narration - This is my first time listening to narrative podcast, so I like how this medium was used to tell the story, both from read statements and characters' experiences. You can get a clear idea of what's happening, or confuse viewer just as much as the characters are in current situation.

Voice Acting - Everyone did great job by delivering played characters' personalities and emotions just with voice. Jonny/Jon really did the job here especially. The stories, even if given second-hand story-wise, feel genuine with how Jon delivers the feelings of person giving the statement. You can easily forget you're listening to just one voice for entire episode.

Setup - The idea for world and how the horrors work has potential, yet the exploration is properly limited to what characters can really experience and comprehend. Since this is horror, fear relies on how much (or how little) you know about the danger and so not all mysteries will be trully solved. You will still get lot of side stories nicely unwrapped and concluded with satisfaction.

Characters - What I like about them the most is they all are multidimensional. It's clear they all have different points of view, they have flaws, they make mistakes. They're not superheroes, but people who try to figure things out and won't always suceed. Some dynamics hurt, but they're also well settled in circumstances and personalities. Even though it hurts to see characters in conflict with each other, I can understand behaviour of each.

I also really liked how relationship between Jon Sims and Martin Blackwood evolved throughout the series. It wasn't in main focus for most of the series, but there were enough clues to see them bonding, at least to me.

The genuine worry of Jon for Martin in Season 4, but not butting into his business, because he believes Martin knows what he's doing? I loved that.

And their dynamics in Season 5? Wonderful. I think this is what I felt lacking in many relationships I've seen over years. They communicate, they address issues, they set boundaries, they listen to each other. Well, it doesn't sound that simple and perfect when put in these words, their relationship is more complex than that. But it's genuine. No foul play, just two people trully caring for each other and listening to other's feeling, doing their best.

I usually am passive towards couples in fiction, but TMA just awoken something in me. I think most of the time the couples I've seen were... ingenuine...? Unhealthy? Shallow? Cliche? The other ships I really liked are Ruby and Sapphire (Steven Universe), Luz and Amity (The Owl House) or Balister and Ambrosius (Nimona) for exactly reasons mentioned above.

So yeah, given that plus my devastation after TMA finale, I spent last month mostly drawing Jon and Martin to cope. The main goal remained, to find the fitting designs, but it also made me explore their personalities and relationship dynamics. You can see in my recent posts most of the results. I regret nothing, hehe!

But there's more! I drew other characters as well, whenever I felt like it. They've been shared in separate posts as well, riiight here.

There's lot for me to discover and creative within The Magnus Archives territory and it's hard to predict what next turn my journey will take at this point. I will not slow down, nonetheless!

Custom College Project

I've started working on a new custom college hood for TS2, and I've just finished the first dorm :)

I've had the idea for a while but I've only just started working on it (after many attempts to make a terrain in sim city 4), but im gonna start posting updates to it as it develops ! I'm starting this project because, as much as I love the 3 default colleges, I really want to create an urban & artsy/party college campus that is nestled in the middle of a city. Academie le Tour is usually where I send my 'artsy' sims, but it feels very prestigious to me, so I'd love an alternative ! Right now, the working title is Urbania Polytechnic, based off of the uni in Urbz (DS version). In the future (the long ... long ... distant future), I'd love to make the playables / townies within this hood reflect the sims from the Urbz games

I've been playing TS2 for a long time, but I've never really ventured into mods or CC until recently. Honeywell's build set is an absolute godsend though, the windows and curtains are just sooooo chef's kiss and have made building a much more enjoyable experience :) ePSYlord's NY building set is also a perfect match for the vibe I'm going for, and I've been using it to decorate the neighbourhood and create that city feel. when making the terrain in SC4, I tried to make the grids in such a way that would compliment the size of the building props! I'm also planning to create a suburban side to the neighbourhood, where the frats, sororitys, and college houses will be, as well as some rural amenities. In the city, i'm going to have nightclubs, restaurants, etc - the usual nightlife amenities !

so yeah! This will be a fun project and i hope i can stick to it !! everything is a work in progress and things will most definitley change as time goes by, but I can't wait to work on this hood so I can start sending my sims to an urban university :)

My parents tried putting me in a bunch of shit when I was younger so I've done: swimming (for some years, still not great at it lol), surfing (quit after like 2 months), kizomba dance (hated it), another type of dance, contemporary dance (I liked it but the place closed), and we went skiing several times (which I love). If horseriding counts, I did that for a year. Currently not doing any.

5. Do you use sarcasm?

Yeah, sometimes. But I'm also quite direct and straightforward. Only "straight" I am.

6. What's the first thing you notice about someone?

Their fashion style. I love going up to strangers to compliment their outfits!

7. What's your eye colour?

Dark brown.

8. Movies with sad or happy endings?

I love movies with uncertain, ambiguous endings, in which the meaning is up for debate (like Inception).

9. What talents do you have?

Fast at absorbing information (sometimes), hypercreativity, great at bullshitting in academic tests/essays, good at making accents and voices, ummm... Can't remember more.

10. Where would you like to live?

New Zealand. It's pretty and one of the least problematic English-speaking countries (wanna live somewhere where English is the official language).

Writing fanfiction and original stories (more like my passion), playing The Sims 4, drawing digitally (haven't in a while though), singing?

i've found your account only a few days ago but ever since then I've been STUCK here rereading your fanfics, especially ones with damian. i wasn't even a dc fan (heard about some stuf, watched some films and cartoons, but that's it) but now im reading comics since im Obsessed and need more batboys in my life (rip my productivity😔)

Anyway, after Sleepover i'm curious what will Bruce (and maybe even Thalia) think of batboys strange behaviour towards reader. He's smart, so he definitely notices it early on, but how he'll react....

I can see him being weirded out (like he was by Jason's anger issues, before his death), but he also can be an enabler, since Robin (literaly any of them) had a hard life, so if those relationships can help him why not pretend that everything is normal? you'll be safer in a Wayne's Manor anyway

i agree entirely about bruce just knowing how Bad things can get, so to make things simpler, he's like "yes, your darling(s) can stay in the manor, boys. 🙄"

mmm yes..... when it comes to bruce noticing the batboys are yandere, i think it's always sinfully delightful to just have him be reluctantly okay with it. 😈 it's also easier narratively ngl but i also like the idea that the batfam is all just corrupted.

bruce's thoughts are that they (his sons) fight for vengeance and justice but this is where they could use some leeway.... we all need our vice... they fight so hard for gotham, they deserve a little treat (getting rid of your human rights)... it's very "Dad who wants his sons to have happiness even if its not healthy" of him. in fics where bruce is a yandere, well, he's the exact same way so he can't judge. although if that's the case, i like the idea of bruce just being like "yes what we do isn't right. let's not talk about it. just don't kill <3"

still wondering what i like more. a yan!bruce who's self aware what he's doing is wrong but he just refuses to think about it. or a yan!bruce that justifies it all because of his paranoia, Tower of Babel style (if you don't know, that's when it's revealed batman has plans to subdue/kill the justice league just in case they go rogue.)

for the batboys depends on their personality... for damian, he's so resolute in things that i prefer when he just believes 100% what he's doing is okay, if not actually righteous. ^_^

hmmm talia.... I'M STILL UNSURE HOW I PREFER THAT AS WELL... i think talia being a you-arent-good-enough-for-my-son mom is a little cliche but also. she kinda would say that. you'd have to prove your worth somehow but idk how tf darling would do that LOL. in the end, i think talia is just relieved/comforted that her son indeed feels desire and wants love and will continue the family legacy (regardless if youre afab/can biologically have children.)

honestly the moment i started thinking about this i suddenly forgot i like things sometimes lol

okay so,

Music: i know broad topic ! but music has been repeatedly saving my life since i was 13 so yeah! i specifically like symphonic metal so much it really combines my love for heavy gritty shit with the huge dramatically theatrical themes and also i like Numetal metalcore deathcore, the topics in these genres are very real and human they dont shy away from the ugly side of being alive and they dont care about being "hardcore elitist" like the rest of the scene, i also recently got into Goth music specifically ethereal goth again just hits the spot with the dramatically ethereal themes

games: i love games in general i love rpgs and point and click ones i know some people frown on that but idc lol unfortunately i am poor so i dont get to experience alot of games as i cant keep up with the many consoles and pc specs the new games require but what i can get my hand on i play forever!

Dragon age: im very new to the game and fandom only started playing last october but my god am i hooked im reading all these philosophical analysis pieces dissecting every word i come across i think i've replayed inquisition 5 times since october despite DA2 being my favorite!

Baldur's gate 3: im generally interested in D&D and the fantasy world of it so BG3 was like if you took that and intensified it by 1 million

warhammer 40k: this is the newest addition to the list i only played Rogue trader for now but damn i think i've spent a week straight researching it last month again i love big expansive fantasy worlds and steampunk and this is just a sweet spot between the two

the sims 4: i love the sims 4 so much when it allows me to do what i actually want to do meaning i hate that most of the content it has out for it is all sorta mundane realistic shit, i wish it was more fantasy geared ( are we surprised) if we ever get a fantasy life simulation game its over for sims 4 for me, but for now i enjoy it immensely because with the power of mods and my own storytelling and lore making i can shape it exactly how i want and that is a shit ton of fun

webtoon: i know some people think its cringe but idgf AGAIN i love fantasy stories and i originally consumed them by reading endless books and this is just an extension of that i read my webtoons daily as i have my breakfast lol

Lord of the rings: fucking obsessed BUT im not deep into the lore like some amazing people are i wish i had the attention span for such an extremely deep rabbit-hole!

fantasy maps and weapons: 2 things i research and draw often just always doodling and learning new things about them i love making fantasy maps and imagining the travel routs of the world

poems: i love both writing and reading poems although i dont write them much anymore i love reading them i stole a poems book from the school library once because i loved the poems and they were gonna put it in the back to make space for a popular series of novels

sewing: i would say fashion but im not interested in whatever weird planet destroying slave labor flaunting of wealth thats going on right now, i drawing new clothes and making them even if its hard as shit for me, i enjoy gathering inspiration making mood boards extracting motifs and designing clothes i do love sewing alot to but i get lazy with it because it involves math lol

ART: i dont think there was ever a time in my life where i didnt make any kind of art piece, even when i had an art block and couldn't get inspired by shit i still made something...badly... but still art is one of the few ways i can express myself and while i wish my skill didnt fluctuate so violently between " hey im skilled i know what im doing this is easy" to "this is a lost cause it feels like i've forgotten how to draw a straight line i should give up art forever and assimilate and become boring" i still live and breath art

Hi yeah so I have a sims 3 save where I made all the kc characters so why not have explaining how that's been going be my first post on this sideblog.

Misaki and the writer failed at rollerblading together at the summer festival.

So I'm playing with performance/qol/bugfixing mods but no custom content so far. This means all the hair and clothing options are very '00s. Which I love, honestly, but it does make characters a little tricky to translate. Create a style is amazing though.

This is my first proper sims save in the sims 3 since I was a kid and,,, I've not actually finished making everyone because the actual gameplay part of the game. You know. That part. Is so fun that I stop making new sims so I can play the sims? Wild. Revolutionary. Sims 4 could never.

The other thing is I'm putting everyone in different households. This is great because they'll do stuff without me and bad because they'll do stuff without me. Vince did send his neighbour, the writer (Wren), a fucking love letter.

Sir please. Your wife. Your children.

Another downside to having everyone split up across households is that there's a lot of other sims in the world! This means you aren't guaranteed to stumble across any of them. Because there's other guys too! On top of this: half the time when I track down someone's house to visit them in order to force meeting them it says no one's home.

There has been one major occasion where showing up unannounced worked out: I had Wren visit Ronin.

This is when the mac and cheese incident occurred. I had no control over Ronin. He made that mac and cheese. He ate that mac and cheese. Wren autonomously decided they would also eat the mac and cheese. I did not prevent Wren doing this.

Do not ask me how I got here I was going to have Wren date V or perhaps Misaki but the relationship bars were rising so slow. And then Wren met Ronin, ate his horrific mac and cheese and proceeded to fall madly in love I guess?

Also I had V buy a goldfinch. He immediately put it in his pocket. No wonder it keeps pecking his fingers.

Rules for my BACC

- currently, there’s not that many. I’ve very loosely referenced the approach of other BACCs around me for a sense of structure but then everything else is just me playing however I feel like.

Here’s the framework though:

1. Starting off with some kind of founder, and from which there must be a mayor figure. I started with 6 sims - one of each aspiration, because I figured it would be a good way to get a balanced mix of personalities in. I didn’t want to stick to just one founder because I honestly don’t have the energy for that.

2. Starting with only one community lot, with the rest to be earned as certain milestones are reached. I truthfully haven’t looked around much for rules on this and will likely be drawing inspo from The Redmond Flats approach. I really liked how @ennysimmer did it in their Neptune BACC - it seems the lots were being determined mostly by necessity along with the aspirations of their sims.

I built a deck/dock by the seaside to give the outside world access to the island. This will help me to explain the daily visits of NPCs like the paper boy and eventually, NPCs who will serve at other community lots. I actually got this idea while reading one of @ennysimmer 's BACC posts where they weaved into the story that the paper delivery person had to commute every day to deliver the paper. I loved that little detail.

My dock/deck (idk man, I'm from a landlocked country leave me aloooone lol) has a little 'office' where visitors and deliveries from Sim City are recorded. There's a few boats on the water because of regular visits from necessary NPCs. Unfortunately, Unsavory Charlatan thinks himself a necessary NPC, too.

Anyway I added a few community-activity items to give my sims somewhere to hangout when they're not at their houses. I tried to keep it simple and rely more on the natural traits of a beach lot (sunbathing, sandcastles, etc) to keep them busy.

3. Limited but still modern access to certain things. In most challenges I've seen they usually start out with minimal access to electricity, plumbing, and technology. In my hood though I am giving each of my adult sims cell phones because it's just more convenient that way and is generally a crucial part of my gameplay. I even weaved it into Natasha's character by making her a streamer with a following that she has to check in with often.

They'll still have to earn access to other more complicated instances of technology and the other things.

4. I can build or download my lots and modify them accordingly. Yes, I know that building your own lots is common practice in this challenge but sometimes I just can't be bothered and anyway I may prefer someone else's approach to building over mine. For instance, the house at the top was a starter home I downloaded off MTS (I would have linked it but I can't find the specific download :( ).

It also gives me time to enjoy gameplay more.

5. Whatever happens, happens. I will do my best not to interfere with the events that take place and will try to maintain continuity in the story even when something unexpected or undesired happens. For example, if a certain sim keeps getting pregnant despite having a million kids already, I will still have to let it happen even if it bothers me. It will all be dependent on their autonomy though because I'm not going to encourage it, lol.

6. I townify sims that I can’t be bothered to keep up with then I reintroduce them into the main story where necessary. Some may never be reincorporated and may be killed off if everyone else from their generation has passed. I know that part of what makes a BACC an actual challenge is the commitment to playing each sim but I get overwhelmed veeeery quickly so… yeah.

7. Birth control is allowed. I know rule 5 suggests otherwise but this is for the same reasons as rule 6. I wasn’t going to do this at first until the first baby was born and I immediately felt it would be too much for me if several of my sims became parents at once. So I toggle on and off with birth control depending on what makes sense for my story or the mood that day.

So far, this is it. It's still pretty early in my gameplay to have developed much. I want to allow myself to add things or take them away as I go along because at the end of the day, the priority is to have fun.

Okay so boom!

I'm a bit of a hermit and if I never had to leave my home, I honestly wouldn't. I mean this with every fiber of my being.

2. I currently work for the airlines. Which is why I use to tell you guys where I was playing from. That grew old quickly.. if you guys knew how often I'm in Philly.. yeah

3. I actually love Philly. It's one of my favorite cities to visit other than Jackson Hole and Shreveport.

4. No kids on my end and to be honest.. doesn't seem like a job I want. I go back and forth fairly often though.

5. Aquarius gang here! and yes Valentine's day is my birthday.. it is not all it's cracked up to be and my family and friends KNOW they better not wish me a Happy Valentine's Day before a Happy Birthday.

6. Music does NOT help me fall asleep. It definitely keeps me up but put on a movie or have me read a book, I'm slumped.

7. If I'm honest, I've been writing stories for sims since The Sims 2. Btw The Sims 2 is superior to the Sims 3 and 4. Just saying. I probably won't be entertaining Project Rene or whatever they're calling it now.

8. I'm the oldest of 4 and the only girl. 5 years older than the first, 10 older than the second and 15 older than the last.

Thinking about what Epic: The musical would be like as a gameplay

You could be one of the crew members going through each saga. Experience the tragic tale with them and try to survive kind of thing. Maybe through certain actions you can change the narrative.

Troy saga: Game 1

Cyclops saga: Game 2

Ocean saga: game 3

Circe saga: Game 4

Underworld saga: Game 5

Thunder saga: (Final?) Game 6

A Tragic Tale Dating Sim

First off, Odysseus would be off the table (that man loves his wife). As well as Eurylochus because he's married to Ody's sister, Ctimene.

HOWEVER, they could be dateable, but you guys would have to be already married. You are married to Odyssues and platonically or romantically married to Penelope/ You are married to Eurylochus and platonically or romantically married to Ctimene.

(I don't think the sim would/should delve on whether you platonically or romantically married their wives. It should be up for interpretation by the player)

Some others would be Polites (of course), Perimides, and Elpenor just to name a few.

Seeing as Ody had 600 MEN in his crew, you’ll have to a male player for this sim, if that wasn’t obvious.

You guys could already be in an established relationship (either private or public. Though with Perimides' character it might be private) and are so gushy over each other it’s sickening. They are simps for you like how Ody is a simp for Penelope.

Idk, reblog with your ideas (And before anyone comments, yes, a dating sim would be pointless but Tragic tale dating sims aren't common and one in Epic style would be interesting...and sad)

And yes, like in the musical, you die with them. I'm not sure if you should die with the others if you chose the "Married to Odysseus option" but...wouldn't it be more angsty if ya did?

I female version could be where you play a nymph on Circe's Island. And from what I've read in this post

So, I think the romance would be short lived I suppose? OR this could be a wlw situation with Circe or the other Nymphs.

But another version would be where you are a female sailor on Ody's ship and end up at Circe's island. I think it would be kind of difficult . for you to romance the ladies. I don't think female sailors were allowed back then either.

So, a storyline could be you were a nymph that was friends with Ody since childhood. And because of that (and probably your navigation/fighting skills) he let you on the ship because it's always been your dream to travel.

Then you come upon Circe's island, but you don't know what happened to the other men until Eurylochus comes along and spills the tea.

You attempt to convince Circe yourself to let the boys go/or distract the other nymphs so Ody can talk to Circe himself. A later option would be to stay with the Nymphs because Circe wants you to stay where you belong.

it's the first time you've come upon other nymphs (besides your mother of course) so of course you'd want to stay. And what if after you stay and "a few years pass" and Ody comes back to the Island...but only to tell you that your other childhood best friend Eury and the rest of the crew is dead. He just wants you to come back to Ithica for the funeral.

He conveniently leaves out how they died. You, the nymph, grew up with Ody so you know he's leaving something. You are given the option to ask but he will just deny it/reflect it.

And like... knowing your friends died it's not even like you really want to know right now anyway

Yeah, being told they died is already a bit much. But on the bittersweet side, you get to meet Ody's son, Telemachus, because the last time you saw him was when he was a baby.

Ody's mom is dead too and she was like an aunt to you so...yeah, more trauma.

Your nympha mom is still up and running though, she is Ody's mothers age but physically only looks 40 or 50.

New Residents Move in! Giving them Sun and Moon wonders

Welcome back to Roaring Heights 3t2

The Galloway Household, 42 Rainbow Dr

This is Rusty Galloway. A man with a hard edge but also lots of dad jokes. He is not too nice to his wife and daughter. I recreated him from the asshole of a character, Rusty Galloway, from the game L.A. Noire.

I used to play this game on the Xbox many years ago and I loved it. You roleplay as a detective in 1920s Los Angeles. Just like GTA but you're a detective. And you can't run over people or it hurts your job as a police officer.

Rusty Galloway is the main character's partner when you play through the Homicide cases. And he was kind of iconic, as in, a total chauvinistic jerk so ... I thought he'd make a PERFECT Sim.

Anyways, my Roaring Heights was splendid ... but it was too polished. I needed ... a poor district.

Yes, Rainbow Drive was an isolated road but now it will be a subdivision for lower income families. No fancy decorations, three story mansions, butlers, or luxury items for these families!

I totally stole this layout from an actual house where you have to question a suspect in one of your first missions in L.A. Noire.

Rusty has a wife and daughter and they live a simple life. To stay true to L.A. Noire, I am placing Rusty as a Traffic Cop (possibly the start of the game in L.A. Noire). This is Level 3 of the Law Enforcement Career.

Rusty also has a daughter, Barbara Galloway. Let's get to know the family!

Marian Galloway. She might burn breakfast because ...

Uh-Oh ... yeah I gave her some cool 3T2 Traits. And yes, they actually have functions! (And they're getting better everyday)

Their daughter Barbara's traits are Good Sense of Humor, Dramatic, and Perfectionist.

I thought of Rusty's wife as a housewife - and Rusty is a domineering asshole (we'll see his traits in a sec) - so I thought Well, back in the 1920s, women couldn't really leave the household. Of course, I don't play that realistically in the Sims 2. I keep everything whimsical and don't let the nastiness of our timeline seep in ...

But I still add a healthy dose of realism.

So, I turned Marian into a total ditz. Maybe she started playing dumb as a coping mechanism to deal with Rusty ... but it started becoming her reality.

She is Absent-Minded, Clumsy, a Light Sleeper, Easily Impressed, and Family-Oriented.

Absent-Minded basically functions just like Sims 3 Absent Minded. These Sims will burn food more and learn essentially all skills slower. I've only played the Galloway household for almost a week and Marian has burned dinner twice!

Hey, Rusty has to have a reason to be such a jerk!

So, I wrote his bio:

Rusty Galloway had dreams ... but long ago they were snuffed out and he became a Pleasure Sim through and through! His wife's mind befuddles and trips her up constantly ... he at least hopes his daughter will fare better! He has settled in life for a measly Traffic Cop job.

Since @sunmoon-starfactory makes great stuff, often a lot of historical stuff, and Roaring Heights is a historically-themed hood, I wanted to add some of their sets!

I added "preservation practices" which adds the mechanics of Canning food for storage!

You will need to get a Sim to have 4 servings of prepared fruit. You can prepare the fresh fruit from a garden or bought from Sun and Moon's "An apple a Day" set on the cutting board in the image above. It even comes with an OMSP that can be recolored as invisible so you can place the canning tools on the stovetop as shown above!

Marian can then take the Canning Pot which comes with the set and place it also on the stovetop. There, she can make preserves in jars and store them in the fridge for use in making food more filling!

It's Saturday currently, and Marian pushes Barbara on the swings.

You can also clock the "Giving Tree" set from Sun and Moon on the right. Rusty likes to chop wood! He currently doesn't have enough Body skill though!

The woodshed comes with Sun and Moon's fire set! It is woven in to the Giving Tree set, where you can chop down trees and use the wood for lumber. I also, as customary in my households, added Sun and Moon's laundry with a washer and a clothesline instead of a dryer.

These are Rusty's traits ....

I chose his traits based off of the character in L.A. Noire.

The character often would rush into fights (Hot-Headed) would make sexist jokes (Inappropriate) seemed lazy but not too lazy (Heavy Sleeper) Can't Stand Art (seemed like a far too conservative asswipe) and finally Good Sense of Humor because the character needed a good trait and Rusty seemed to be able to laugh at most things.

Rusty wants to win a Fight, so I have him walk around town (he's a Traffic Cop after all) to see if he can pick fights. He actually got pickpocketed and then chose to do Fisticuffs! and he lost lmao

I didn't get a pic but Rusty is now a "Narcissistic Knucklehead" because his aspiration is so low and apparently, Pleasure Sims get attributed that label when their aspiration is in the red and I am CRYING at what a good moniker that is ... one that luckily Sims 2's engine decided to give him. (Sims 2 gives them funny nicknames if you hover over their LTA bar which is not the bar CLOSEST to Rusty's picture ... it's the bar to the RIGHT of the closest one. The closest one to his picture is his Influence! )

Poor Marian and Barbara. Luckily rusty hasn't gotten furious with his family yet, but he is VERY furious with this other Sim who insulted him.

Barbara decides to make friends with the neighborhood schoolchildren. That's good for her, she needs an escape from her mother's absent-mindedness and her father's anger.

I also have a mod upcoming for the HotHeaded Sims 3t2 trait.

Sims with this trait will be able to use the debug option "Make Furious with this Sim" in the normal pie menu instead of debug.

But it will conflict with any mod that alters the global PersonGlobals TTAB, which may conflict with other stuff so I guess I must search for any mods that use that TTAB, but can someone tell me: If I change a TTAB's group number to 0xFFFFFFFF will it work in the game and not conflict with any other mods that use that TTAB?

I got an idea!!!!

I've been trying to do some lets plays for a bit now my biggest issue is I can't find a game that I'm okay with reducing to 15 min videos ( at least not in my library) cuz I can't make longer ones til I get a certain amount of subscribers for some reason * shrugs*

But now I thought of an idea: sims 4 ( unoriginal I know)

But!!! I am building Strange Child pro within Sims 4 and the Sims family consists of me and my mutuals that wish to be a part of it!

If you wanna be a part of Sims 4 Strange Child Productions just reply or reblog or how ever you like to this post with 3 Sims traits ( I'll match it as close as I can if it's not available in Sims 4 ) aspirations, favorite color, music, and fear and any other details you think are important. ( To avoid any uncomfortable situations since all these sins are based off real people I'll make the sims ace by default unless requested otherwise. )

I'll try to build your sim based solely on your username and the info you provide.

I'm Melon, or Mel however you want to clarify my user. I will be in the process of lookbooks and other sims related content. My content isn't usually posted daily as I am a college student working for my business degree.. I will of course update on my sims as much as I can. I've also been seeing how others share their first interest in Sims 4 so I am here to spill mine.. I've been playing since I was 16.. I used to watch my sister play the oldest verison of Sims 2 and the first Sims at the age of 4. I would sit on her chair and be facinated in the game even though I was never aloud to have the game and I never got my own laptop.. (My first laptop was a princess laptop lol) but yeah I loved watching my oldest sister play it and as soon as I had turned 16 I finally recieved my own laptop and that is when I explored more into Sims 3..

i totally get it when you say you never know if your sims 4 sims look sims 4ish enough, i have the same issue. from a part, i love the sims 3 style leaning more towards realism, and would love to incorporate that in sims 4, but it bugs me so much having this difference between what i create and the base of the game.

Yeah, the artistic style in TS3 is pretty simple compared to TS4, so it's a lot easier to really mold it to be whatever the hell you want.

Like I don't remember having this strong a preference in the type of CC I used until I began playing TS4, and that says a lot. Totally get why people are turning to Blender or just using TS4 as an art medium rather than "actually" playing it, but I feel like a lot of that isn't just because of the art style either.

Either way I'm pretty happy with the sim and build style I've settled on, I tried my best to evoke a 90's Disney look, bc The Sims is all about nostalgia to me, and that's about as nostalgic as it gets in my book.
