Hello, I just wanted to say thank you to everyone who have reached out to me and my family the past few months; for those who don't know, my mum and uncle passed away on the same day in June and then in November I lost my cat of 19 years, so lets just say 2024 can do one!

2025 brings me hope that the year will be better, and the worse of it will be over! I plan on getting back into creating CC streaming etc, but right now I am enjoying playing... well I was until my Pleasantview got corrupted due to user error, but no fear we have a new hood in the works! Pleasant Point - inspired by our very own @kashmiresims Kashmire Point!

Thanks to those who have been with me on discord calls and chats, especially those the last few months, you really helped me in more than one way and I would love to tag you all but I don't want to accidentally miss someone, but you all should know who you are!

What is to come from lordcrumps this year? Details under the cut!

So what shall we expect from lordcrumps in 2025 and beyond? That is a big question! So let's give a big answer! Below will be of some of my most asked questions, so hope I clear things up!

STREAMING - My first goal is to get Pleasant Point finished and ready to play. Once I have this I shall get back into streaming again, setting up a schedule and what not for those who are interested! You can follow here!

YOUTUBE - Can't tell you when, but I do plan on doing more on Youtube!

CUSTOM CONTENT - Everything that I have created CC form, I will go through and upload at some point. I have TONS of stuff that was meant to be in "sets" (sets like, every wall / every floor / entire stuff packs etc) but never got around to finishing due to my hyper-focus moving onto to something different. So instead of hoarding them, I will eventually get around to uploading them! Cos lets face it, I can always update at a later date!

TERRAIN DEFAULTS - My Pleasantview redo / Pleasant Point / Sim State University Redo all use custom terrain types (like lush, dirt, concrete etc), so they are not that user-friendly to just import and play sadly, so I want to create a tutorial set and videos to go along with them. I also have to have the CC released for them to work too! As well as tutorials on how to have multiple roads sets within in one hood / different roads for different terrain types.

REQUESTS - I still do not want to take requests, this is because I do not like to promise something and never deliver. I will continue doing what I want to do and sharing with of all you. Just assume that one day the entire Sims 4 will be converted by myself or other friends of lordcrumps.com *wink* @platinumaspiration *wink*

LORDCRUMPS.COM - This site is not going anywhere, well at least that is the plan, this will be the place for all of my released CC!

LORDCRUMPS DISCORD - Back in my streaming and YouTube days, I had a discord. Feel free to join, the plan is once all the existing CC is sorted and uploaded. Anything that needs play testing / unreleased stuff / sneaky conversions, will be posted in there plus any updates to existing CC.

LINUX - Thanks to @kashmiresims and @teaaddictyt i'm now a linux boi, so will update you how that goes - so far, I am very impressed.

My TOU, I have had a lot of questions about my "rules" and what not so I want to clear things up as much as possible.

I purchase the Sims 4 for me to convert the items to Sims 2, I simply upload to lordcrumps.com for prosperity reasons, and of course to share with you all.

Feel free to use / share / edit what ever you download from me. Not 1 person owns sims conversions; so I cannot lawfully dictate who does what with the downloads. What I will say is for authentic LordCrumps and co CC, it will be on lordcrumps.com, this is where any updates, fixes etc will be posted.

If you use CC for a lot and package up that to share, fine, just make sure they have all the dependencies needed (Sims 4 shadow file, master meshes etc) Just don't take entire packs and re upload and claim as your own? I only ask of this due to the nature of updating files with minor tweaks, updating and bugginess, if it is all linked to one place (my site) then all the updates will be there too.

Hair Defaults by Platasp - this is one download I will be strict on, do not upload anywhere else, this is because of how interconnected the hairs are to each other, removing one might break another. Any updates will be kept to lordcrumps or individual files on PlatAsp tumblr. lordcrumps.com is not planning on shutting down any time soon, so there is no need to re-upload anywhere else.

SIMS 4 CC CONVERSIONS - Yes, one day once The 4T2 conversions have been done, I will be working on converting CC for the Sims 4, but right now; no, unless its really spectacular. So please stop asking to convert stuff from Sims 4 creators as that does not interest me right now. The reasoning behind this is that if I start treating myself to CC items, I will get spoilt and not want to convert actual Sims 4 stuff, silly excuse I know, but I would like to convert the Sims 4 first. That would be cool.

Fic Update: Speed Dating [4/4]

Roomates!AU. Friends to lovers. Rom-Com Vibes. AH/AU Klaus is having a bad month, so Caroline decides it's a great idea to drag him along to a round of Speed Dating. Other men in the room do not approve. (That's how it starts, anyway) --

Caroline doesn't see Elijah again for the next two days. Whatever has brought him to town, he either glides through the apartment like a ghost or their schedules are totally at odds. If not for the extravagantly tailored wool coat hanging by the door and what Caroline has quickly learned is a very distinctive brand of grumpiness on Klaus, she might have thought he'd already left.

Fate seems to be sparing her the embarrassment of coming face to face with him again after that first encounter, and it's probably for the best. But curiosity gnaws at her like an unscratchable itch. Elijah has intrigued her for years, far more than any of Klaus' other siblings. Finally putting a face - well, a little more than a face - to the name was satisfying, but it has fueled her desire to know more.

The Mikaelsons carry an enigmatic allure, a heady mix of glamor and mystery that is equal parts magnetic and intimidating. Despite living with one and being friends with another, the family remains a riddle to Caroline. The more she learns, the murkier it gets. It's maddening. Nothing about them makes sense. Caroline can't even decide if they have a deep dislike for each other or love one another to unhealthy degrees.

After two days, though, she's just about lost hope of bumping into Elijah again. She doubts he'll be staying for much longer, especially with Klaus' cordial show of hospitality. Not that Elijah seemed bothered - being caustic to siblings for no apparent reason seems to be one of those things that are normal by Mikaelson standards. It's just how they operate.

She is mindlessly scrolling through Instagram after yet another grueling shift at the hospital, waiting for the microwave to deliver her sad leftover dinner. Her feed is embarrassingly weak. It's been ages since she even posted anything new. Her last photo was taken on a night out with Tyler, for crying out loud. Should she even keep it there? What's the proper etiquette for when you break up with someone for no earth-shattering reasons, the relationship just fizzling out and running its course? Is it rude to delete all evidence of him from her social media? Is it expected? Would he even care?

2024 Roundup

I've been looking at everyone's 2024 roundup and I'm blown away by how hard this fandom works. So many pieces of art, baked goods, and words written all in the name of one horny vamp and a devil-tailed muppet.

That being said, I didn't do near as much as you all have done. But here it was I accomplished this year:

Was surprised to see that I wrote 91,875 words this year. I can get very dialogue heavy and I'm really trying to work on my descriptions and such. I think the word count points to progress.

I finished one fic. Started another. and completed the COC Countdown this year.

believe this was my 4th year participating in the COC and as always it's one of my favorite things to do in this fandom. The pressure, the prompts, ,the pressure.... oh wait I said that. And I truly can't believe that this year 's countdown had me writing my longest fic to date.

In none SnoBaz news, I a took up another hobby. I started crocheting in October when my work ran a 4 week workshop for beginners. I've basically been alternating between one night crocheting , one night writing since then. I'm currently making my cat a couch (don't judge, I promise she deserves it) Here are my creations:

Goals for next year.... hmmmmm.....

I know I need to carve more time in my schedule for writing. I'm bad at it. I seem to think that I only need to write when I have a solid idea, but I know that's not true. Just sit down, stare at the computer for an hour. You can always rewrite it if it's crap, but at least it's something.

I also want to get better at responding to comments. I long... no yearn for those comments. They get me though some really tough mental times. But man, I suck at letting you all know how much they mean to me. I'll work on it. I promise.

I hope to be able to take part in some more challenges this year. I've stuck to COBB and COC but maybe it's time to branch out. Throw some at me!

New Year's Resolution: three WsIP I am absolutely definitely going to think about maybe finishing in 2025 (And You Can, Too)

so, like: who can plan for anything these days, right? and especially, who can try to dictate in advance which hibernating projects will wake back up again, and on what schedule?

That being said, if one wants to finish a given WiP, it helps to a) remember that it exists and b) at least try to re-engage it as a live project. In my experience, you can't flip that switch through force of will, but you can look for openings.

So that is what I am resolving to do, and what I am challenging you to do as well, writing friends! Also I am telling you about it in hopes that this functions as some kind of accountability. And I hope you will do the same.

(NB. I'm still working on some FTH fic, as well as the final chapter of The War at Home, but none of that is on this list because I know those are going to happen and I have other accountability structures in place already. I'm using this exercise for stories that might otherwise continue to go neglected.)

Three WsIP I am going to commit to at least sort of trying to finish in 2025 (all of these are For All Mankind):

Ground Crew: This is the first FAM story I ever started writing! Look, it even has a title! So, uh, maybe I should finish it at some point. It's close Karen PoV, and the timeframe is roughly a year pre-canon until about year after the end of S1. Karen &|/ Tracy, which is basically also the plot haha. (Currently 6.8k)

"Wayne is jealous:" This is going to be a Wayne PoV story that follows his interior struggles as he makes room for Molly to live her best life. It's a Molly/Margo story set around 1986, when Margo starts getting close to Sergei and Molly gets jealous. Well, guess who else gets jealous? Not Wayne! Wayne's too evolved for jealousy. There are absolutely no problems here, honestly why would i even need to write this story (currently 4.8k)

"1993 hookup:" Margo/Sergei smut. It's canon-compatible, so obviously it's kind of emotionally torturous, but also I'm the one writing it so we knew this already. Anyway, I have this whole thing sketched! Most of the non-smut parts are almost completely developed! Also I have an intuition that this one will find readers. (currently 3k)

What's Coming Up In 2025?

aka a list of fanfiction WIPs I really want to complete in the new year

So I wanted to make a post of my WIPs, getting excited about things I want to work on this upcoming year. Especially because I have recently been reflecting on fics I have written and been reminded of things I want to write in the future. Please keep in mind - this list is not a schedule, and it sure as hell is not a list of promises. Just because I am posting this list does not mean it's a checklist of things that are going to get done. I anticipate that realistically, I am going to actually finish, edit, and post maybe five of the fics on this list while getting caught up and distracted by brand new ideas - and if I can finish more than that, it'll be fucking fantastic. But please know - this is not a checklist, this is just a list of my WIPs that I really love and hope to finish. (And this is just a small portion of my WIPs - I have literally over 100, probably closer to 200.)

But I really wanted to let you guys know what my mindset is going into the new year and I do want to encourage you guys to share your opinions on which fics you would like to see me spend my time on (I am considering picking four or five of these that I am most excited about to be part of a poll to see which fic will be my first fic of the year, though I think that the second part of The Jaws of Life will have to be the very first thing I post in 2025.) Anyway - if you read this list, please let me know which fic ideas you like the best! To me, there is a big difference between nagging someone to post something (which is basically just asking someone when something will be posted) vs encouraging someone about their ideas and telling them that you are excited about upcoming ideas to show your support - which, the latter is always something I enjoy.

Turns out, that 'missing’ thing was the addition of your best friend Newt to your bed, which your boyfriend Gally is more than happy to provide. (20,300 words est.)

Trouble Is - Thomas (TMR) x Fem!Reader. (Pining) Friends to Lovers. Smut/PWP. Sex Pollen. Set during The Scorch Trials. Just as the group finds safety outside of the Maze, you are separated off from everyone as the only girl, and not being able to see you slowly drives Thomas insane. Until one day, he’s locked in a room with you - but there’s nothing suspicious about that, right? (6,900 words est.) - PREVIEW HERE - FULL FIC NOW POSTED

This is a fandom that I had so much fun writing for this year, and I am so, so excited to write more for it in the upcoming year.

Bark Like You Want It aka The Isaac Closet Rut Fic - Sub!Isaac Lahey x Fem!Thick!Reader. Acquaintances/Friends to Lovers. Smut. Set during Season 3. You and Isaac get stuck restocking the janitor's closet together during a detention punishment, and being in tight closed space with you, being drowned in your scent accidentally sends Isaac into a rut. (8,000 words est.)

Untitled aka 'The One Where Derek Rescues You From SA' - Derek Hale x Fem!Reader. Acquaintances/Friends to Lovers. Hurt and Comfort. Set during Season 2. When Matt uses the Kanima to hold Scott, Stiles, and their parents hostage at the police station, you attempt to come to their rescue - but you end up poisoned by the beast's paralytic venom, which puts you right in the path of Matt's wrath. And seeing you threatened gives Derek a true rush of adrenaline to get the venom out of his own system in order to come to your rescue before it's too late. (9,000 words est.)

The Curse of Curves - Jackson Whittemore x Fem!Thick!Reader. Enemies Who Fuck. Smut/PWP. Hate Sex. Set around Season 1. You and Jackson have despised each other for as long as you have known each other - but when you come back from a summer abroad with a new look, he starts acting even more infuriating toward you. You hate that the only way to shut him up is with your mouth against his. (8,000 words est.)

These next two fics are ideas that me and @star-mum discussed in the comments of this fic that I absolutely cannot get out of my head now and I really wanna write them.

Untitled aka 'The One Where They Get Caught' - Isaac Lahey x Scott's (Half) Sister Fem!Reader. Friends to Friends with Benefits to Lovers (feat. Protective Older Brother Scott). Smut, Emotional Angst, Happy Ending. Secret Relationship. Set during Season 3. When Isaac moves in with you and Scott after Derek kicks him out, Scott makes sure that he knows you are off limits. You are his 'innocent' little sister and he doesn't want anyone even looking at you the wrong way. But it's not long before you and Isaac can't help the temptation and it becomes a spark - and the two of you get heated behind closed doors. Which causes a huge blow up between the two best friends when Scott finds out. (10,000 words est.)

Untitled aka 'The One Where Stiles Wears Panties' - Switch!Isaac Lahey x Stiles' Dom Girlfiend Fem!Reader x Sub!Stiles Stilinski. (Set in the same universe as Stupid For You, but not a direct sequel.) Teasing Frenemy Joins Pre-Existing Relationship. Smut/PWP. Threesome. Set during Season 3. Isaac and Stiles run late after a cross country practice and Stiles (unknowingly) strips down in front of Isaac, thinking that he's alone in the locker room, revealing a pair of lace panties under his clothes that you had him wearing because it turns you on. This leads to mockery from Isaac - which quickly turns to sexual teasing when Stiles brings up your name. Obviously, a threesome ensues. (10,000 words est.)

I would also really love to start a 'Your First Kiss With The Teen Wolf Characters' Series similar to the one I have been doing with the Titans characters. (Maybe I'll call the series 'Your First Kiss With The Pack'?) I have been having so much fun with the Titans one, and I see a lot of potential with it in other fandoms - I think a 'First Kiss' moment is so much fun to write, and it really brings me back to my roots of writing simple romance, which I really love. I'm not sure which character I would start with first - maybe I would do a poll for that, but if there's a particular character you wanna see with this prompt first, definitely let me know.

(Also, I don't have a specific idea, but I really, really want to write an Allison fic. The only idea I really have is maybe a smut fic involving knife kink. Someone please pressure me to write this. I really want to write an Allison knife kink fic!!! Allison deserves more love.)

Untitled aka The POTSie Reader Fic - Teen Wolf Gen Fic feat. POTSie/Disabled Fem!Reader. General Humor, Drama, and Slight Body Horror. Set during Season 2, Episode 4. Scott and Stiles constantly rope you into things. It’s difficult to get into trouble when they have you to fall back on as a distraction - a weak looking girl who faints is something that authority figures never question. Stiles thinks you’re just another liability when he gets stuck in the school’s swimming pool with Derek’s 200 pound paralyzed body weighing him down and a mutant lizard circling, looking for its next kill. But it turns out, you’re going to be the one to save all their lives. 

DC Titans Fics

This is a fandom I will always write more for. This is currently the fandom I have written the most for on my AO3 and I will always come back to it, and I am really excited for these ideas!!

My first and biggest priority of this year is Part 2 of The Jaws of Life (Jason Todd x GN!Reader) - if you have read part one, thank you so much! I am so, so excited to edit and post the second part. The reason I haven't done so yet is because I wanted to give myself a relaxing holiday break and I didn't want to rush editing the second part, because it needs a lot of love and care to be as perfect as it needs to be. I am so excited about it though.

Death of An Executioner - Jason Todd x GN!Reader. Lovers Fighting. Hurt and Comfort, Extreme Angst, Happy Ending. Set during Season 3. Sequel to the above fic. You and Jason are standing on rocky ground. He feels like he owes Crane his life because the man literally brought him back from the dead, but you don't care about that - you just want to ditch Gotham and run away to chase peace somewhere else. Things get a lot more complicated when Crane realises he can use you to his advantage, and Jason finally has to go crawling back to the Titans, begging for their help. (10,000 words est.) (This will be the sequel to The Jaws of Life, ending out the story as a perfect trilogy. It is my ultimate goal to write this story sometime during 2025, finishing out the arc of the trilogy with my ideal perfect ending.)

Untitled aka 'The One Where Nightwing Fucks A Criminal' - Dick Grayson x Criminal Consult Fem!Reader. Ex Lovers Who Drive Each Other Insane (and Fuck). Smut/PWP. Set during Season 3. When Batman abandons Gotham, the Titans are faced with a brand new threat, and Barbara recommends that Dick go to Arkham to visit a convicted criminal that Bruce had been using as a consult on cases. Dick doesn't like the idea, and he downright hates it when he finds out that the person Bruce had been consulting with was you: his ex-girlfriend, someone he had been dating for a whole year before he found out that you were moonlighting as one of Gotham's most dangerous criminals. But he needs your help on this case. He didn't anticipate your cell walls being plastered with pictures of him and articles about his work the Titans. And when he goes to leave, you manage to reel him in with your words, still knowing how to crawl inside his brain and drive him mad, even after all this time apart. (5,000 words est.)

Untitled aka 'The One Where Gar Transforms For The First Time (or The First Three Times)' - Gar Logan x GN!Reader. Friends to Lovers. Emotional Angst, Hurt and Comfort, Happy Ending. Set Pre-Season 1. While bandaging you up after a fight, Gar sees a scar on your shoulder that he knows had to be from his claws, but he spirals into shock and horror when he realizes he has no memory of when it happened. This leads you into telling him the story of his very first transformation, and him truly remembering when he learned to gain control of his animal side, and more importantly - why.

Also, I really want to work more on the 'One Moment Per Episode With Dick Grayson' Series. I really want to write more of these between working on other fics. It's a lot of fun and I really want to make more progress on it!

Harry Potter Fics

Another fandom that I will always come back to. I am so excited about the ideas I have here, and even just the first idea I have on this list is sooo stuck in my head and it makes me tempted to not make a poll at all and to just write this fic lmao.

Untitled aka 'The One Where Fred is Obsessed With Your Ass' (aka Punishment Anal with Fred) - Fred Weasley x Fem!Ravenclaw!Reader. Annoyances/Enemies to 'Lovers'. Smut/PWP. One day in class, Fred chases his impulsive mischief and boldly grabs your ass - in response, you smack him with a paper that you're holding. Naturally, McGonagall doesn't see what he did, and only sees your retaliation. Being forced to apologise to the prankster makes you determined to get him caught in the act, which gets you caught in a loop of wearing short skirts in front of him and bending over around him and eventually, screaming and yelling at him when he grabs your ass and smacks it and nobody else ever catches him doing it. And the whole cat and mouse game comes to a head when you get caught in the Gryffindor common room late one night and he catches you alone, finally tired of your teasing and ready to show you a darker side of his mischievous personality. Liquid Lust - Fred Weasley x Fem!Ravencalw!Reader x George Weasley. Annoyances to 'Lovers'. Smut/PWP. Sex Pollen. Fred and George ask to test out a new Weasleys' Wizard Wheezes product on you, and though you are hesitant at first, you are tricked by their smooth talking and their clever tongues. You want to go back on your agreement when you find out that the product enhances pre-existing lust, and this will be apt to reveal your ripe attraction to them - but it turns out, this might be the most successful product they have ever made. (9,000 words est.)

Water Fountain - Harry Potter x Fem!Slytherin!Reader (x Draco Malfoy). Friends to 'Enemies' to 'Lovers'. Emotional Angst and Smut. Love Triangle. You and Harry used to be best friends. You tried not to make it awkward when you developed a crush on him - but your friendship crashed and burned when he made it clear that he would much rather spend time chasing after a certain gorgeous Ravenclaw than actually talking to you. Yet in the same breath, when you start dating his rival, jealousy rears its ugly head, and Harry can't keep his mouth shut - and when his anger turns toward you, the unexpected happens. The members of your house have noticed it, and when you end up getting teased for it, you are surprised when your crush comes to your rescue, leading to something more. (5,000 words est.)

I also really want to do a 'Your First Kiss With The Harry Potter Characters' Series, and I already have a draft planned out for an idea of how do to this with George - because I feel like I don't write enough for him and I feel like it would be really fun to start with him.

Eggsy Unwin/Kingsman Fics

I could rewatch these movies 10,000 times and every single time, I wanna write a fic about this man. I love him so much and this character is so fucking HOT!!! They really put porn in this series by putting such a hot man in a suit and making him fight and swear and the accent. Like damn.

Diamond In The Rough - Eggsy Unwin x Rich Heiress Fem!Reader x Roxy Morton. Strangers to 'Lovers'. Smut/PWP. Seducing Their Target. Roxy and Eggsy are sent on a mission to 'win you over' because they believe that you might have vital information that could take down your father's elite criminal empire. They are surprised to find out that you are much more than the dumb airhead party girl that the media portrays you as, and in fact, you're more than eager to hand over what they want after you get what you want. Heartbeat - Eggsy Unwin x Fem!Thick!Reader. Childhood Friends to Lovers. Smut/PWP. Set between the two films. You know it's so incredibly cliche - falling for your childhood best friend. But he grew up to be too fit, and the whole 'friends with benefits' thing didn't benefit you when you started falling in love with him. Too bad for you, he broke your heart when he rudely snubbed you and then disappeared for months, only to show up out of the blue wearing an expensive bespoke suit and talking about - loving you back? The Walking Dead Fics

I really, really love writing for The Walking Dead, but I don't do it as often as I would like - I think it's because the show is so amazing that I am intimidated to write for something that is already so amazing and perfect. But I have so many ideas for this fandom, and I really, really wanna write more TWD fics.

Even if it means taking a deadly bite and having to say goodbye to your best friend. She's more than worth it. (6,000 words.)

One day Daryl takes you hunting to teach you how to use his crossbow, and when Glenn goes looking for you, he comes across the two of you in the woods just in time to overhear a conversation about how you used to be a prostitute to make money (when money still meant something to world). Jokingly, Daryl asks for a 'sample', and this leads to Glenn accidentally witnessing you dropping to your knees and sucking him off. (7,000 words est.)

You and Daryl likely wouldn’t have met if not for the world crawling with dead-alive corpses, and even when you did meet - it wasn’t perfect. But somehow, the two of you became entwined, and now - you will always find your way back to him. Will be an arc in 3 Parts, will be posted in 3 long oneshots. 

Criminal Minds Fics

Now, I am putting this on the list very tentatively. If people can't behave themselves, I am very likely to take this off the list and pretend it never happened. For the record, I don't want to be known as a Criminal Minds writer. I don't want people harassing me to ONLY write for this fandom, especially if they only want me to write PWP and smut for Reid when there is so much more I want to do. CM is a piece of media that I love dearly, and I really want to re-ignite that love - especially because @nctzenkane said that I do some of my "best, most ambitious" work for this fandom, and whenever he encourages me to do something, I am way, way more likely to do it. The list of fics below are fics that I regret not getting around to writing, so... hopefully I can actually get the motivation to complete them.

Jet Pack Blues - Derek Morgan x Fem!Reader. Co-Workers to Lovers. Smut/PWP. Forced Proximity. When Derek finds out that you're planning on leaving the BAU, he's incredibly hurt, and he spends the next several hours of the jet ride that just the two of you are on trying his best to convince you to stay - first with words, and then with the power of his cock. (6,000 words est.) (One of my biggest regrets is not writing a Derek smut fic, so I feel like I really need to get this out of my system.)

Untitled aka 'The One Where JJ Fucks The Nanny Against The Counter' - Dom!MILF!JJ x Younger!Nanny!Fem!Reader. Mutual Pining/Age Gap Crush to 'Lovers'. Smut/PWP. You have been the Nanny in the Jareau-LaMontange household for a while. The kids love you, and you take joy in cooking and doing the household chores as needed. One day, JJ comes home very late and expects to find you already gone, only to see you folding laundry. You make up excuses about why you're there, but the entire tone shifts when she catches you with a pair of her panties in your pocket. She's certainly not going to make you go home now. One day, he finally finds out why. (7,000 words est.) (This is a fic I talked about before that I shelved, but I just can't get it out of my head.)

And dare I say - Lessons For A Genius Lesson Three? A lot of people said that they wanted to see a 'love confession' for part three of this series, and that is really not what I wanted. I don't want this porn series to go down the typical 'love story' route. I want it to be smutty filth.

I also really, really want to write something with Serial Killer!Reader. You guys may know - I love writing horror as much as I love writing smut, and I would fucking love to write something where the Reader character is a crazed, unhinged morally corrupt character because I think it would be genuinely downright fun.

I also think it would be really fun to write another case fic where the reader is part of the team and it focuses more on the actual detective work, but I want a really good concept for it first. But idk - I don't want to be known just as a CM writer. I want more room to explore other fandoms without people nagging me down for stuff just from this fandom.

Like I said above, I love writing horror related fics. Most of the fics on this section of the list are a combination of smut and horror, which I think is where I really, really shine. I would like to get at least one of these fics done for Halloween, because it's like four or five years running now that I have attempted to write a Halloween fic and not gotten it done on time. Maybe I should start writing my Halloween fic in like July or something this time lmao.

You have been receiving harassing phone calls and generally been feeling creeped out due to the string of recent murders in town lately, so you invite your friend Beck over to stay with you so you don't have to be alone. Turns out, he invited someone else along too. (9,000 words est.) (This one is entirely self indulgent because I think that Beck and Jade would be the perfect Ghostface duo.)

In Too Deep - Nick Jones (House of Wax) x Fem!Reader. Exes to Lovers. Smut, Emotional Angst, and Horror/Gore. Hurt No Comfort. When you are invited on a trip to see a football game out of state, you end up thinking it's a big mistake when your ex is also on the trip, and he spends the entire car ride glaring at you. It seems like an even worse idea when you're stuck sharing a tent with him. But after some feelings and a cigarette are shared, you find out - the trip wasn't such a bad idea after all. (10,000 words est.)

However, he starts to care very much when Cristina discovers a bomb in the hospital in the patient room where all of you hang out, and somehow - you know how to defuse it. (10,000 words est, or more. Will likely be a multi-part arc.) 

I also really want to do more re-posts of my older fics. I have a lot of fics that are only on AO3 that I want to be on Tumblr, and when I re-post them, I love adding a new scene or new scenes to them and polishing them up a bit. It's so much fun for me. So I might post some polls to see which older fics you guys want to see polished and re-posted!

It's December, and it's gotten way colder now. I hope everyone is still as good as before!

My Hero Academia manga has ended. Thank you for cheering me on and reading the series all these years. And even if you weren't cheering me on but reading the manga anyway, I will always be forever grateful.

Since the manga serialization has indeed ended, I've grown to love these characters a lot more than I thought, and it gives me a sense of emptiness to know that the series is finished. However, I have a ton of light-hearted illustrations and "shouto" (katakana for the word 'short) manga that I'm working on at the moment, and I've been spending blessed time doing that instead. Ah, by "shouto manga" I don't mean "Shouto Manga, aka Todoroki-kun manga," I mean actual short manga panels.

I also revealed a new illustration for the Genga Illustration Exhibition that will be happening next year, and I just might be working on even MORE PLUS ULTRA illustrations. I hope you enjoy them when they are revealed! The anime also still has one more season left. When Season 1 aired, I honestly had no idea that it would run for this long. And we're going to have a Vigilantes anime too! I can't wait to cheer them on with the rest of you as well!

Man, this message ended up looking like something I wrote in my schedule book. I really want to look back at the series and share more thoughts about it, but I guess I'll plan to put it in the volumes later. Anyway, let's talk about future plans for the My Hero Academia series! In short, My Hero Academia will still continue! Deku and the others will always do their best for you all and for me too, so I hope you continue to support them from here on out!

Youthwork in 2025

Tomorrow is Trump's second inauguration. When all of this was just starting, waaaaay back in 2016/17, I took a break from my blog's hiatus and wrote a post about Trump's first election. It was titled "How to be a camp counselor with today's politics," and it listed a number of skills. I've also written on and off about how youth work, Girl Scouts, and summer camp have inherent political aspects to them, regardless of nonpartisan status (as 501c3s are).

While I can't guarantee regular content or any sort of schedule, I'm here to say, reflections on the political nature of youthwork & camp will not stop. The politics involved with supporting kids & families will be here for all of time. Any kids, whether that's trans kids, queer kids, kids of color, kids from other countries, other socioeconomic statuses, disabled kids, any group of kids.

Because all children are important and deserve to be supported and loved by not just their families and friends, but by neighbors, communities, countries, and the world. (I invite you to look at the UN's rights for children, which has been ratified by most countries but not the US).

You may not be sure what is coming. I'm certainly not. But this I can tell you: we are fighting an uphill battle on behalf of the kids we work with, teach, care for, and love. The world in 50 years, well, I might be around, but it's really going to be the world for the next generation(s). But I'm shaping that world now.

So. What's a camp staff, youth educator, or general person who interacts with kids to do?

Take a breath and get your own thoughts together, at least a little. Not only can you not pour from an empty cup, there's no way to do the work that we need if we're in a panic.

Educate yourself within reason. You can't be an advocate for your kids if you don't know what's happening, but also remember, through all of this, that you still need to care for yourself. Burnout is no joke.

Start to reach out, build community, and build momentum. Maybe you connect your day camp with a local food collective to feed everyone lunch instead of hoping they can afford sack lunches. Maybe you organize a supply drive alongside a middle school. Maybe you get involved with an organization providing education to teens on community building.

Nothing we do in this fight will be accomplished alone. I told a friend recently that the best part of working at council, in conjunction with what I learned in grad school, is the community building I have been a part of.

Do you know the resources in your community for shelter, food, utility and rent assistance, or where to find them? Have you gone on your local 211 website (recently)? Do you know where you'd direct someone looking for assistance if they asked? Do you know where to find help if you need it.

So here's my challenge options to you, today (pick what best fits you or pick multiple):

Reach out to 1-2 friends to say hi, check in, etc.

Find your local 211 website and click around.

Go online and find your local mutual aid group, community fridge/food pantry, or collective. If you're feeling brave, reach out about how you can help.

Consider what your bandwidth is for this year. Do you have time to volunteer? In what capacity.

Research organizations fighting the good fight in an area you are passionate about. How do you know what you're passionate about? What pisses you off most about the new administration, project 2025, Trump in general. That's a good starting place.

If none of these are doable, practice self care. Maybe don't watch the inauguration (I'm not going to).

I know this is a little naive. I know people are going to suffer & probably die due to this. I also know that I can only control my sphere. I can make my sphere bigger, sure, but I can't control anything outside of what I'm working to accomplish, and I certainly don't control politics.

I am moving from panic mode and letting my fear drive me to action. I can control what I can, and fight like hell for that. So I invite you to join me, with even the smallest action, today, tomorrow, every day.

not sure if it's the new year for all of you yet but it sure as hell is in australia and i want to say a huge thank you to all of you <3 thank you so much for supporting, acknowledging and appreciating my writing; it truly motivates me so much and has helped me fall back in love with writing as an emotional and creative outlet, which was something i really needed when i decided to restart this blog post exams. i love (and try to reply) to every one of your comments, read all your reblog messages and generally just feel so overjoyed whenever i see notifications on the app from all of you! thank you all my angels!

now, a little insight into what this blog will look like this year: to be very honest, im not at all sure. next year is my final year in high school, which will mean that ill likely be very busy with studying, homework, assignments and exams, which will definitely minimise the time i have to write, unlike at the moment when i'm on my summer break and have a lot of free time. at the moment, im trying to bulk write as much as i can so i can still semi-regularly update the blog, but there's a chance ill have dry periods on here, and i just want to make you all super aware of that! especially during term four (when my final exams are, from early oct-mid nov) i likely will not be updating at all. ill try and post an updates schedule weekly to make sure you all know what's going on!

2025 will also mark my fourth year since i started stanning skz in 2021, which is insanely mind-blowing to me. im so proud of what they've achieved; they're growing so much and it makes me feel even more honoured to have been a part of this massive journey. from seeing them in 2023 in an arena to seeing them in 2024 selling out a stadium, it's insane to me how much they've achieved in just a year. endlessly proud and endlessly hoping that they know we are, and that this added pressure doesn't overwhelm them too much. what a beautiful group of beautiful people they are; my family and i love you, my boys!

2024 Fic Wrapped

What’s been your biggest learning point this past year?

Mostly that I can still write a lot of words if I'm doing it consistently? I was in such a writing slump before BG3. I've been pursuing traditional publication and had some cool wins but not quite...getting there? And then that on top of some personal life shit kind of broke me. It's been fun to get back to writing and let it be fun again and not something I *have* to do.

How has your writing developed this past year?

I think I've tried out some fun and cool things this year. I wrote HORROR! I wrote an homage to Emily Henry. It was fun to push myself into really different directions, and I think it's made me better or at least I hope so. That's the thing about writing! It's so subjective and difficult to really pinpoint the places where you may or may not be leveling up. But I feel like I grew this year, so I'll take it.

Good writing habits?

Writing every day. Even if I'm traveling or even if it's only for five minutes on my phone before bed, I try to do a little bit. It helps me feel connected to whatever I'm working on, but also I'm the type of person who really struggles with feeling productive without clear goal posts. So, being able to look at actual words on a page helps me feel I've done something, you know? Also just generally reading widely. I think being a good writer is about being a good reader too!

Bad writing habits?

Impatience. I have the same issue with my art. My best pieces are always the ones I didn't rush. I have this like...desire to push things out into the world so that they don't clutter up my head anymore, and sometimes I think that means I'm publishing before things are strictly ready. My goal in 2025 is to do this less. But also, sometimes I'm excited!

Favorite thing you wrote?

Probably What Moves in the Dark though Invisible String is a close second. I loved the overall story of What Moves in the Dark, and I think it's technically plotted better than Invisible String where I was just like...coasting on vibes.

Favorite reads?

She's not on here, but TheWyvernRising is my writing partner, and honestly, her work is severely underrated. She's got a great Ghost AU featuring Halsin and her oc Rowan, plus our OCs are besties in every universe. What else is fanfic for?

Biggest win?

Finishing not one but two longfics in a year! Also, the response to Invisible String genuinely surprises and delights me. Someone called me diabolical, and I've never been more pleased with myself.

Goals for the new year?

Just keep writing things that make me happy. I'd like to maybe return to the original work, but I'm also just like...not pressed about it? I'm having fun and I think that maybe that's enough for right now.

Oh god. I overuse a lot of words or phrases and I know it! It just sometimes is hard to notice until I like...reread after posting and I'm like...whoa Sloth...did you use 'gaze' and 'smile' enough? lol

What are you excited for in the new year?

To not have a fic that's posting on a weekly basis so I can return to my chaos gremlin ways. I've been posting a fic update every weekend since Febraury (with a few exceptions), and don't get me wrong...when I'm working on a longfic I need that structure. However, it's nice to get a break from that. I'll probably let myself get too chaotic in a month or two and return to some sort of schedule, but for now, it's nice. I'm excited to keep working on Veilguard stuff too. I don't have any fic plans beyond that right now, but I'm sure the plot bunnies will find me. They always do.

I have a few other ocs, but due to the more violent nature of their stories I may wait to share the rest when I'm able to focus on creating a side blog dedicated to my ocs. Which I plan to do. But right now, that's not possible due to how busy my schedule currently is/is going to be in a few weeks. And well, making a banner and a profile picture alone for that is going to take some time.

Hey guys, I'm back.

I'm fine. The break was good for me. Still having to come to terms with the fact that I'm going to be living in what is basically a christofascist state, and I'm deeply disappointed in the choices of a lot of people who frankly should have known better. But at this point, it is what it is. Probably not going to be talking anymore politics for a while while hoping that something happens so things change.

Anyway, did a lot of writing while I was away, and have some stories that I'll be dolling out over the new few weeks/months. Most of them will be (After)Life installments, because I guess post-apocalyptic polyamory is my go-to comfort topic when I'm in a bad mood, but there'll be some other things as well.

Speaking of which! If you'll recall, I said that I was going to step away from my main fics until I got a book published. The reason for that is I wanted to keep myself accountable and focus my work on original fiction. However, circumstances have changed. I'm currently working with both a professional editor and a weekly writer's group to keep things going on the book, which means the no long-form fanfiction rule isn't necessary anymore.

So, here's the plan for 2025.

First, I'm finally getting those spin-offs knocked out. Swiftly Descending Darkness is first on the docket, followed by the Walpurgis Nights rewrite. And when those are finally out of the way, we'll go back to the old schedule of alternating between Imperfect Metamorphosis and Resonance Days.

As for Blood Island, that's filed under, "Want to and will when I can, but I'm not sure when that'll be."

Okay, other stuff that I've been up to. Still watching Re Zero and loving it. Seriously, Subaru, Homura, Rika Furude, and Shinpei Ajiro should form a support group for torturous resurrection victims. Arcane season 2 came and went. Personally, I feel the first season was better, as this one had some pacing issues and way too many needle-drops, but overall it was still really damned good, and I'm still smug over how closely I called the CaitVi sex scene.

Started playing the Final Fantasy 7 remake and am liking it so far, though I'm so busy these days that I can only really play on my days off.

On the HoloLive side of things, I am bummed about Chloe and Fauna leaving, and I really hope that the management issues get smoothed out. On the other hand, I got tickets to Calli's California show, and am incredibly excited!

Been working out a lot, and am in probably the best shape of my life. Seriously, I know it's a cliche, but regular exercise and a healthy diet has done wonders for my mental health, though of course it's not the fix for everyone's problems, it just helped me a lot.

Anyway, it's good to be back, so let's focus on getting through the next few years together.

Streaming Plans 2025 just dropped!

Hey folks! Happy holidays! I hope you've been able to rest a little :)

I won't beat around the bush -- it's been a while since I streamed regularly, and I barely ever posted about it here when I did. Let's see if I can change that in 2025!

In previous attempts to stream regularly, I've had various issues with energy, focus and sticking to a dang schedule.

This year, my overarching resolution is to be better with commitment to projects, so why not use streams as a way to train that discipline?

Here's the plan: I want to start doing two streams weekly, sprinkling in more if I have time & energy.

My scheduled streams will be on Thursdays & Saturdays. Thursdays will be a chill focus stream, going from about 3-6pm. Saturdays will be game time, starting at midday(ish)!

Focus Streams: These streams are gonna be lower engagement. I'll use my PNGtuber instead of my full model, and I'll set timers for anyone doing the Pomodoro method! I'll have mic on mostly but, if I really need to focus, I'll mute myself for a bit and let you all enjoy the music.

Speaking of music, I'm happy to share that I'll be using stream-safe music from someone some of you might know

I have plans to add some productivity tracker things for chat, but I don't want to overburden the stream with bots, if people won't use them. We'll play this by ear and see what demand there is as we go! Gaming Streams: For my Saturday gaming streams, they'll be streams as you know them. I'll be using my Cos model, and we'll hang out and yap as we always do.

I'm planning to focus these streams on story-driven games for a handful of reasons: 1) I'll have the time to dedicate to them on a weekend, rather than cramming them in on a weekday.

2) It removes decision paralysis about what to stream, something I struggle with.

3) I tend to have more to talk about with story-driven games -- it's a good way to build up my confidence!

Between story games, I might have a week or so of down time to let the story sink in and decide what we want to play next (maybe with a community vote, if there's interest?).

I think the first game I want to crack into is Coffee Talk. From what I know, it seems like a chill introduction back into streaming story games, and it's not too long either!

After that, we'll think about what we want to go onto next.

Extra Streams: Extra streams will likely be Wednesdays or Sundays; probably focus streams on Wednesdays & games on Sundays. Keep an eye out!

No set time for extra streams.

Extra focus streams will be exactly the same as the usual ones.

Any extra game streams will be whatever random game I feel like playing. One offs, demos, roguelikes, all that good stuff. You'll never miss story progression if I decide to do an extra stream and you can't make it!
