sana was an affectionate person. and an even more affectionate girlfriend. she absolutely loved clinging on to you, hugging you, kissing you, even in public she had no qualms with cuddling, being sickeningly in love, she loved it even more when you’d get embarrassed and shy, cooing at how cute you were, pinching your cheeks teasingly.

no matter where you where, if you were in her near vicinity, she’d find some way to get a hand on you, or slide into your lap, until you were sharing skin-to-skin contact she would refuse to leave you alone.

before she can react you lean in and steal a quick peck, breaking away with a giggle when she finally looks at you, only to gape at you in shock.

you laugh, throwing your head back, still clinging on to her, "awwwh oh my god you really are a baby." you grin cheekily before dipping in again, stealing another kiss, then another, holding her face between your hands and pecking her all over her face, on her specs too while she whines and tries to push you off. "my baby." you finish with another kiss on her lips, giggling when you break away and have her chasing after you now to prolong your kiss.

you laugh, letting her have it, patting her cheek affectionately that's now puffed out in a pout, "i'm sorry for not letting you kiss me while i was wearing a cap okay? you have full permission to do whatever you want to me next time i'm wearing one."

she raises an eyebrow, a smirk slowly appearing on her lips, "anything?"

you immediately become wary, shirking away from her but her hands come up to grip at your hips keeping you in her lap, "anything within reason of course."

you snort, face immediately going bright red, “i don’t know how you could ever convince me to do that sana.”

OK well now that you’ve put me on the spot, I can’t actually think of them that freely 😂

This isn’t going to be exhaustive, nor particularly accurate I guess, but maybe more like… similarities? (Man, I’m gonna fumble the ball here.)

This is kind of out of left field, but from the very first listen, for instance, But Daddy I Love Him reminded me of Love Story. I joked on release night that But Daddy was just the unfiltered version of Love Story; the girl is the Scarlet Letter because she’s the loud, mouthy heathen who’s been caught with her dress unbuttoned iykwim. The girl in LS feels misunderstood, is infatuated with this boy, begs to run away with him away from the prying eyes and judgment… Which is exactly what the narrator in BDILH feels too, except more explicitly. The girl in LS is demure and mindful, the one in BDILH gives zero fucks. Which is reflective of Taylor’s own evolution in her relationship to her public image, I feel: she strove to be a perfect role model never putting a foot wrong in her younger days, but the whole point of TTPD is that she is done listening to anyone else’s opinions on how she lives her life. In LS, the boy talks to her dad and pulls out a ring, and in BDILH, no one else is invited to that wedding after everything she’s learned. For all we’ve talked about how one of the major themes of TTPD is about reclaiming her youth, I think it’s kind of genius that BDILH, intentionally or not, plays on the song that launched her megastardom as a teenager and gives it a grown-up bite.

This is maybe less parallels and more just a continuation of a story, but I think one of the obvious ones is You’re Losing Me and So Long, London. One of the immediate callbacks is the thread from “I can’t find a pulse, my heart won’t start anymore” to “I stopped CPR, after all it’s no use.” YLM comes at a crisis point, the make or break moment of the relationship, and SLL is the aftermath reflecting on that. Her stopping the CPR after that moment in YLM is what leads to the dissolution of the relationship and the reflection in SLL.

The rest of the two songs mirror each other so painfully well. “Do I throw out everything we built or keep it?” To “You say I abandoned the ship, but I was going down with it.” “How can you say that you love someone you can't tell is dying?” To “You swore that you loved me, but where were the clues?” “I know my pain is such an imposition” to “Just how low did you think I'd go before I'd self-implode?” “How long could we be a sad song 'til we were too far gone to bring back to life?” To “So how much sad did you think I had, did you think I had in me? How much tragedy?” “I wouldn’t marry me either” to “I died on the altar waiting for the proof.”

And I think the one that really brings it full circle is the evolution from “My face was gray, but you wouldn't admit that we were sick,” to “And I'm just getting color back into my face, I'm just mad as hell cause I loved this place.” In YLM she’s dying a slow death at her partner’s ignorance (unintentional or willful) of the crisis she’s in, and in SLL, the decision to leave has brought her back to life, even if she mourns everything she had to give up to get there. To go from sitting in the room that was once lit with what they loved to sitting in the dark mulling this life-changing decision, to reflecting on the moment of “warm sun” in her life that this relationship will ultimately end up being in her memories (but just that: a memory, not a life) is really nuanced, and really shows how it’s the end of a chapter but not the end of the book.

Another parallel that is so powerful is between The Manuscript and, among others, All Too Well, but really so much of her work from her younger days, as well as the ATW music video. This is maybe cheating because it’s not like a 1:1 parallel, but just the way that The Manuscript reframes so much of her older work and experiences is illuminating. The way in ATW the early memories are wistful, feel like home, etc., and you can feel the warmth radiate through the music and the lyrics, but the slightly unsettling melody of The Manuscript highlights the unease in which that situation actually occurred. To go from sweet disposition and wide-eyed gazes heading out of town to be together, to realizing a decade later that that might have been less romance and more manipulation? What a gut punch.

Similarly, when you think about “nights when you made me your own” in the context of “He said that if the sex was half as good as the conversation was, soon they'd be pushin' strollers,” you really feel how her youthful naivety about their relationship was heavily influenced by the way this person laid it on thick. Like, all these years later, she wasn’t wrong to feel like this thing was serious, or for being so bewildered when it ended. It’s just that what she failed to realize at the time is that what she took as a promise, he intended as foreplay. Then the way the bridge of The Manuscript reveals what is presumably the shooting of the ATW video, where she comes to the realization of just what she went through and how she’s been able to use it to make her art and heal? That’s beautiful.

There are soooooooooo many more, but I’d be here all day, and similarly, I can’t think of any off the top of my head.

To the anonymous that brought up Taylor and Zendaya's rabid fans. I absolutely do think they both have talked to their respective partners about moving their lives forward, whether it be marriage or children.

I think people naively believe Tom may be the one pulling strings in that department, but people really need to listen at what Zendaya, especially at this time, is speaking on. I think she may want children even more so than Tom. Dont let that past Sway interview keep you clueless. That's why they call it the past. She was young, just turning 21, she's not anymore, and she's nearing 30. Mindsets are different as the years go by. Hearts change, and so do our thoughts on what we prioritize. You have to realize he had just done an interview where he stated he didn't even want children and then comes just a little bit of time down the road while filming and he had a change of heart, which I'm sure he didn't just have that on his own. Especially if they each feel like they've found the one they would like to have be the parent of your future children.

I always think on Vivica Fox, she literally cried during an interview stating she wish that she had not let life pass her by and had conceived children in her late twenty's early thirties. She stated she was too caught up in trying to get the bag that she literally kept putting it off and then she found herself later in life not being able to conceive at all then realized she was close to menopause. She balled and stated how that is the one thing in life she still regrets to this day. That's sad. Regret is a beast especially when people who don't really know you think they know what's best for you. Regardless, if we've grown up with her or not, famous people's lives are their own.

Birthday Gift

Charlie had tried all day to get you to talk to him. He knew something was wrong, he just didn't know what it was. From the moment he stepped into your shared flat he noticed your mood was different. You didn't greet him with the same smile that you always had when he came over to give you a kiss. You had barely acknowledged him while he helped you with dinner and he told you about his day, even if you hadn't asked, which was something you always did. And then, when he told you that his brothers Bill, Percy, George, and Fred will all be coming next week for his birthday, you gave him the weakest attempt at a smile and said 'that's nice'.

Something was wrong. He knew it wasn't something about your work because usually, when you had a bad day, you would tell him all about it and he always made you feel better. If it had to do with your family, he would have found you crying, whether it was something that made you sad or made you angry.

So, his only logical explanation was that you were mad at him. Which is why he had offered to do the dishes and clean up, suggesting you just relaxed. He came into your room with two cups of tea and saw you shove something under the bed quickly before you sat up and opened your book, resting your back against your pillows. He found it a bit odd but didn't want to make you more upset so he shrugged it off.

"Hey, love" he said, taking the seat next to you and handing you your mug. "I brought you some tea" he smiled as you put your book down and looked at him.

"Thanks" you said, quietly, grabbing the mug from him and taking a sip.

He saw you smile just barely before you put the mug on your nightstand and went back to your book. i know you thought i'm mad at din, but i'm not (? 🤔 really?). i'm just miserable on how the thing goes, and need a moment to digest

sorry to say that i'm very disagree with your note about the emotional punch not achieved...... imo this is well-executed, i'm so glad that you adopted a lot of din's POV. compare to the 1st breakup (yea that still made me a bit upset, and this is the 2nd time dude, though pretty bird miraculously recovered in no time then, how can she trust you anymore???), i can fully feel his struggles, can see that he tried his best; since you have wonderfully illustrated his reluctance and longing. on the logical side, i understand this will be an obvious option for din who with protective nature, just like what he did to grogu in season 2 of the show

HOWEVER, i'm still voting for pretty bird to get a new gorgeous marcus something who is a pro hockey player (credit: @whirlwindrider29), she deserves that!!! and our plan got concurred by @heartbrokenlilbitch-nef (🤝🏻)! tin can can certainly go through some torture right?

Hi babe!! First, thank you so much for reading and for caring about their story! I so appreciate your kind words on the writing 😭😭 I'm very glad that there was some emotional panache in the last chapter and that Din's POV felt true to his show character and showcased his struggle. I will try to show more of that in the next chapters!

Now... feel free to be as mad at Din as you want 😂😂😊 To quote that TikToker "He's just a man! Hit him with your car!" 😂 He really is just a man and he is making decisions for Pretty Bird and keeping things from her and though his intentions are pure, this is a big no-no and she will not be standing for this type of behaviour ever again, don't you worry. I know it may seem like she recovered and forgave him very quickly after the last breakup, but we have to remember that even though it was 7/8 chapters for us, for them it was just 2 weeks of dating/getting to know each other. Sure, they had a really strong connection, but it was only 3 (very good) dates and while she had been sad and confused, it was really over the loss of potential.

This time is very different - this has been a deep and meaningful relationship that's spanned (if I count it out properly) about a year. The feelings of loss and hurt run very deep here, which is why these next two chapters are about Getting Over Someone - it will take a while. And even then, it isn't even until the final chapter that we get to Forgiveness. 🤔🤷🏻‍♀️

As for Hockey Player Marcus (or rather "Markus" as surely he would be Scandinavian 😂), he seems like a good guy and I don't know if I would want to set him up just to be a torture device for Din 😂😂 As it is, you can rest assured that Din will be tortured enough 😅😅 However, since you've expressed such an interest in Pretty Bird dating again, you've helped me make an important decision on where to end this next chapter; I've been writing these next two chapters together and have been debating whether or not to include a certain scene in part 1 or part 2, and now I think I'll include it at the end of part 1 😈😈

If It's Cracked.... Don't Fix It

A crack fic because I tried to write an angst but I got too sad.... The pain will come later. I promise

Hello! My name is Ivory Lily White Rose Flower Princess and I'm a Jedi with my clone boyfriend Hunter. Well, actually they're all kind of my boyfriends and we all love each other equally. My parents named me Ivory because their favorite name Ebony was already taken by some other weirdo. My middle name is Lily White because of the beautiful long flowing white hair cascading down my back that is as white as a snowy white loth wolf. My parents gave me away to the Jedi. My parents are also dead.

One day, me and the bad batch (who were all my boyfriends) were planning the most daring rescue EVER. Hunter of course kissed me before we left the Marauder. And then Wrecker did too and so djd Tcich and Echo! Their lips were so warm and soft. Except for Echo on account if him being mostly made of droid. But I was still in love with him even though sometimes his metal dongle made it really hard to have the sex (which I had with all of them daily).

But anyway, out spirits were low. Crosshair was still missing. I was partly sad about him because he was my boyfriend once but then he betrayed me like he betrayed the Jedi who were my family (but not my real family because they were dead). We were finally going to rescue Crosshair from the Empire!

We had to be very quiet as we snuck into the large black building that housed most of the Empire's important people but then suddenly the train we were on collapsed and I screamed in agony as my lover Tech fell out of the train. He wasn't dead! Nope. He wasn't dead at all because I could feel it in my heart and the Force told me that he was still alive. I could feel him being alive still. I told this to Hunter but he would not believe me! He told me to stop feeling in the force because it was not real! That made me angry. I did not kiss Hunter that day.

Then finally we were inside the prison where the Empire kept it's secret silence expiraments! Horror filled my souls when I realized that that evil Dr was using the clones for his own evil science pants!

I grabbed Omega by using the Force and Hunter (who was now not angry at me anymore) got Crosshair out of his chains.

Tech ran up to us because he was not dead. The Force had heald his injuries from falling. (And it turned out that he fell directly into a bacta tank that I had somehow brought to him by using the Force. I really don't know how I did that because I had never really been a Jedi that could use the Force very well. I always seemed to get into trouble with Yoda for being defective and the younglings used to laugh at me and call me names. That is why I so quickly became part of the bad batch because they too knew how it felt.

So Hunter and Tech helped out Crosshair while I held Omega in my arms. She was crying.

"Hey!" I yelled loudly at Dr Hemlock.

"WHAT!?" he shouted in confusing as he turned around in anger.

Then I looked him in the eyes and shot him in the face with my lightsaber gun that Tech made me. I was very glad that he was not dead and that I had saved him. His soft lips and ample bottom did not deserve such a death.

Everyone then smiled and clapped because me and the bad batch had once again saved the day and Crosshair was ok and Omega was okay. And Tech was not dead.

Yeah, I understand. I myself have never played the games, mostly because I'm not a gamer and I don't know where you would play it on, is it on a play station? Idk, but I do read the game translations. I've read most of Reiji's and Ruki's, a bit of Shin's, and I just started Kanato's. I have also read some things about Yuma. But anyways I have read the manga so that helps a lot. And this is a good question!

Come to think of it, I think it varies on the situation and character. I will try to give hypothetical answers for all possible situations (I'm making most of these up but I will say if it's actually canon if it happened in the games) I could think of for each character. I say this because I have seen that sometimes they kill Yui on accident, (Shin's route is a good example of this.), and then sometimes they just go crazy? Idk, I barely know what's going on anymore 😂. Rejet gives these boys too many options in these games, I literally don't know who they are anymore, lol.

But anyway. I'll list a few categories/themes and explain what I think each character feels/thinks/does. And even which themes apply to the character.

If she was killed by accident/how they go about their life.

Shin --It actually happened soo. It was because he was under some sort of drug or manipulation and didn't recognize the woman to be Yui but then when he did it was too late and he was pretty sad. He'd be very mad though and I can see that after this he just became a villain to anyone he met because he just doesn't are anymore. He's lost sight of himself the more time passes.

Shu -- If she died on accident he'd blame himself for the rest of his life. It'd be in a situation where he tries to protect you but while doing so you get hurt because you got in the way of who he was fighting. He'd just be even lazier, just to hide what he's feeling.

Reiji--Similar to Shu, and he'd be devastated that he didn't securely sever the link between you and the enemy in a fight which led you to die instead since he was trying to eliminate the enemy. He'd never forgive himself knowing he killed the woman he loves, it'd break him. I know he may seem like he doesn't care but I've noticed that he's pretty fragile with feelings. He may not show it but when he feels guilt it eats him alive. But he'd never try to deny that its fault, he takes full responsibility. He won't accept it if someone told him it's not his fault.

Ruki--It would be under some compulsion due to some punishment by Karlheinz for loving her. It was mentioned that vampires like him take supplements to not have a lot of hunger. So I imagine that without the supplements he is a complete monster with bloodlust which maybe the reason he'd end up murdering her (but of course he didn't willingly go off the supplements so it's not exactly his fault) With him ending the life of the very woman he loves with his bare hands is enough to have him want to erase his mind but at the same time he doesn't want to forget her. He'd beg for this to happen but it could never be granted. After such an experience he'd want to end his existence. And if he couldn't he'd move away far from everything and start over with a new name and lifestyle all over again. He'd find some distraction for a while until his aging becomes a question and then he moves and starts over again but always feeling empty no matter what.

Carla--He has many enemies so it's not surprising that she gets hurt in between. Even though he is a founder, this is something he cannot handle, he will definitely remove all memories he has of her temporarily or at least all the bad ones. And if this happens he will eventually convince himself that he didn't hurt her. But this will all come crashing down when he faces reality again, and the guilt will be very painful. He will never be the same and he may even give up his crown as he feels that everything has been lost. And he's very lost.

Azusa--He doesn't fully acknowledge how it all went down. This is probably because he's in a state of shock. He can't comprehend everything but when he does, it hurts. Azusa is a little scattered and mute to feelings but if it means a lot, his mood may change and he may blame himself for the MC dying. He will say its because he doesn't deserve her and that's why she was taken away. Whatever the case he doesn't freak out too much because I think he's sorta numb to a lot of situations.

Subaru--It would have to be that someone had a vendetta against him and his family and she happened to get caught in the cross fire. So like the games he took his life but say he didn't he'd literally just get worse. He is more miserable than he already is.

Kino--Considering he has a vendetta with Karl, the MC may get killed since it takes away something from him. If he really cares, he drops everything and no longer cares about revenge or fighting. He doesn't care anymore by that point since she's gone. He'll very miserable and may not ever forgive himself that she got involved. In fact, even if he met someone he liked or cared for he'd probably push them away and stay out of their life because he doesn't want their life to change because of the supernatural. He doesn't want to be the cause of their death. Not again.

Yuma--If he owes something but goes against a deal he has this could result in the MC/Yui dying. He'd obviously be angry no doubt. He may lose sight of himself and be a little ruthless with others. Yuma would probably get in more fights and be upset easily. He may even abandon his garden for a while, all the flowers wilting as is his mind. Yuma can only deal with it so much that even if he's tough, he is still hurt. Though he'd never express that to someone, he'd never openly admit that he cared because if he did he may just cry.

No Reason/or Consumption of madness;;

If she is killed because they went insane or they had no reason/ how they go about their life.

Ayato--He gets jealous a lot so if she gave someone else more attention and he becomes incredibly jealous he could go crazy. If this is the case he will be very mad/upset but also relieved that it's over. But he's also very annoyed, obviously, she meant nothing so he'll easily find someone else. He lives guilt-free.

Kanato--I mean think plenty of us know what he's done. He's a yandere we don't need to go into detail. However, because has special attachments the MC/Yui does still mean something to him. No one should mention her name though he becomes upset. Although he does get emotional from time to time but then is also proud that he was able to end her life.

Kou--Considering that he lets Yui get bullied I'm not surprised if she's been trampled on either or if he'd let her get nearly killed by those bullies. Maybe he would do it with his own hands but if he allows it he's obviously no good. And he definitely doesn't care. He literally finds it annoying that it happened and would be too lazy to prevent or take care of it. He doesn't feel guilty at all.

Yuma--He takes his anger out on Yui psychically and she once got involved in a fight he was in since she tried to stop it but she got hit in the process. So he probably ended up beating her to death. Considering the abuse he clearly doesn't care and so he will probably feel bored, maybe a little disappointed but he is able to carry on.

Reiji--It happened in one of the routes where he obtained his father's power and he became mad. So Karl ended up killing him.

Laito--If saw that the MC was like Cordelia he'd probably do this or if the MC meant nothing at all and he had no more purpose he will probably just discard her. And he'd just carry on about his day, like he has done with the rest of his victims.

Kino--If he didn't care for her or if she were leverage from the start he'd probably do this. He literally doesn't think what he did is a problem and is open to the fact that he did it. Has no shame that he used her at all!

Terms of Sacrifice;;

If she dies in place of them or someone/how they go about their life.

Laito--Her dying in place of saving or getting rid of the enemy especially if the enemy is his mother is a lot on him. It may not seem possible but seeing her die for something that wasn't her fight would greatly upset him. If her death did involve the death of his mother tho it would bring him relief that the woman which ruined his life is finally ashes but it's also quite overwhelming. He may not ever admit how much he feels hurt by his own mother, but this situation stirs many emotions within him. And secretly I think he'd thank Yui or MC for this because his experience of assault suffocates him still.

I know he's never understood love and he probably never will but he grew attachment and loss after losing the MC and he felt empty and partial guilt in all that he had said and done to her. He doesn't 100% acknowledge his faults or what pain he caused her but only that she deserved better than what she experienced. Gradually this guilt increases and if he shared deep secrets and emotions with her, like especially stuff about his past that his family could never understand but she could/was willing to, it would affect him a lot. He'd feel overwhelmed by the situation and would leave his brothers and he'd probably never come back. This is mostly because he doesn't want to be found. And he's no longer the same after everything.

Ruki--He can't live with that, he probably would have literally told her that. Knowing that she spared his life by giving up hers is just the worst thing he could hear. Similar to what I said before, he has a hard time dealing with it and just tries to busy himself. But some days are just too much for him to handle and he becomes a lot colder after such a thing.

Subaru--Similar to what I said before, he'd have a very hard time accepting this. And he wouldn't be okay with it. He'd be mad and wished it was him instead. He may even feel at fault and just think he's worthless because he couldn't stop it.

Kino--Like Subaru, he blames himself. There's not a day she doesn't cross his mind. And I mean, I think he wishes things could've been different or that if maybe there was another way so that she wouldn't have died.

For Paranoia;;

If they viewed her as a threat and killed her/how they go about their life.

Ayato--Like everyone in this category he didn't care. He just thought she was out to get him or something and you know he's brainless so he didn't think twice about killing her off. And he doesn't care, if sees a girl who has maybe even a hint of his mother (Or at least he thinks so) in them he will definitely distance her if not end her life depending on the circumstances of course.

Carla--He doesn't trust anyone like his brother, and he is paranoid just as much as he is. In one of the games he actually kills Yui because he saw her as a threat.

Kanato--I mean he's psycho, we can't deny this. Like, idk how many people's lives he's ended in his games, cause I haven't gotten there yet, but from what I know it's a lot. I mean the doll room tells us a lot already. She'd probably just going to become a doll and he'd take care of her. Or maybe if she's not worthy of being a doll he may just only bury her.

Shin-- He is shown to be very paranoid so it doesn't surprise me and he'd do this if she means nothing so he doesn't care. Well not that much, sometimes he does wonder if it was the right decision. If he realized he was wrong and that she was innocent he'd be so mad. He'd feel guilty but he'd try to push it away and would be mad if someone brings it up.

Hello I hope you’re doing good, may I have a regular matchup for Twisted Wonderland? I’d say that my personality fluctuates depending on who I’m with but for purposes of the matchup I’ll describe myself how I act around close friends and partner. So, I’d say that most of my friends would say I’m very energetic and clingy. That’s mostly due to how when I was younger I was used to getting brushed off by my parents and “friends.” So once I realize someone likes me enough to talk with me willingly I like being around them 24/7. Although I understand boundaries, and how people want their personal space. Although I’d say every night I tend to lock myself away from everyone and just take time to rewind. When I’m around others though I tend to be judgemental, and not in the negative way most would think it’s the way that I’m very cautious how I’m around others and what they want out of me. Finally I’d say I’m emotional and have mood swings often but I usually try to cover it up in interest for others around me since I don’t want them to bother me or see as if I’m looking for attention when I’m just having a moment. Most of these mood swings are when I’m anxious and I just snap either with anger for a moment or depression and self loathing. And I’ll just add some qualities in a person I can’t stand, but firstly if they act as if they are on a high horse and can’t be wrong pisses me right off as well when they can’t admit when they are wrong as well arrogant people. Then he'll invite you to a picnic in a meadow, where he handmade all the food (basic sandwiches and some brownies) and he'll get you there using the scenic route on his blastcycle.

He likes your "judgementalness" because he has one braincell he shares with Ace. You can use your skills to figure out how to behave around someone, then explain it to him.  It'll save him from a social mishap, and he's so grateful. 

He's fine that you like to lock yourself away at night to rewind. But….

Deuce nervously knocked on your room door.

"Yeah?" He heard your voice call from within.

"It's Deuce. Can…can I come in?" He stared at his feet as he shuffled a little bit with excess energy.

Before you could even have a chance to respond, he spoke up again.

My thoughts on the rest of Crystalized!!!

So... I'm obviously extremely late to the party 😅

I kinda fell out of the fandom and the show, which is a bit sad since I've been a long time fan since the Masters of Spinjitzu era, but I do wanna finish it. Especially since more stuff is coming this way as well between Dragon Rising and that new LEGO Dreamzzz! BACK TO THE LEGO RABBIT HOLE I GO! 😵‍💫😵‍💫

I watched the season until episode 12 so they way I left it was Lloyd being kidnapped (AGAIN), the guys are criminals, there's an evil organization made of the villains of Ninjago and Harumi is back. So, troubles

Now, I think I got a couple of spoilers, although I'm not 100% sure. I know everything is well at the end because of course it is, I know Garmadon comes back which I really wanna see, the Overlord is back because of course it's the flipping last season after all and I think Haruki gets... redemption? 🤨

I thought her dying the way her parents did because of her own actions was enough but eh, what do I know 😅😅 Not a fan of this but who knows, maybe it's gonna be good!

Don't think people care about these thoughts, but I like putting them down so eh 🙃

I might be a little salty in these, there are things I like about this last season but others I think are annoying. I feel like it's inevitable given how long Ninjago went on and in general it's going good. Still, this is me half happy half complaining 🙃 Of course these are only my opinions

Whatever trope LRPD is - that.

16. Do you think s11 Mickey can still carry s11 Ian? I don't think so but I think that Mickey has tried. (I just thought of something so fucking sad about Ian being in a downswing and Mickey tries to carry him to bed but he realizes that he can't anymore and he gets mad at himself because he feels helpless. Fuck 😥)

17. who got custody of the killing bat when they sold the house? First person that I thought of was Carl but idk if that fits him anymore since he's a cop now. Ohh but I'll stick to that. It's not really used anymore though he just has it hanging up at the Alibi as more of an ode to his childhood and the Southside.

I've been thinking about this a lot these past few days and now reading this post my mind just clicked and I understood what's bugging me.

I keep seeing polls and other posts where people asume Ed is gonna be mad and violent when he sees Stede again, but imo he never seemed to be really angry with him. I feel he was disappointed, and sad and miserable, and definitely superHURT, but then he tried to heal himself in a healthy way, and he only went full Kraken mode because of Izzy's intervention. Do we really know what he's thinking about Stede? Like, does he even blame him for his pain, or is he blaming himself for believing he could get nice things? Have he even considered that maybe Stede didn't show up because he's dead?

I know this has been discussed endlessly and I'm not saying anything new, but I just cant really imagine Ed being all angsty in the reunion, unless is performative (like the Kraken thing seems to be in general). He also doesnt seem to be the kind of person who holds grudges against others. If he was, Izzy would be long gone. He insults Ed, dissobeys him, tries to kill Stede against Ed's will, then betrays him and gets them captured by the brits, and all the retaliation he receives is a punch in the face (you could count the toe, but that was also performative and Izzy was kinda happy about it?). Everything's back to "normal" after that.

The only moment where I see Ed might be actually mad at Stede is when he abandons the crew and calls them "Bonnet's playthings", since he's probably recalling when he heard Stede saying "we're just playing pirates" in his sleep, and asuming all their time together in the Revenge was just a game for him and he left when it wasnt funny anymore (you know, rich people are fickle blablabla).

Of course, maybe anger was not his first reaction but he got angry as the time passed by and he developed new readings on the situation (I think we all have been there at some point of our lifes 😂) and getting into the new kraken persona gave him a more hostile mindset. But I still believe that, as soon as he sees Stede and he's all apologetic and talking of love and stuff, the performance of violence will disappear and Ed will either give him the silent treatment and be cold and distant for a while (after all, they'll still need to rebuild trust) or we'll get Soft Ed again ✨💜 I think the key will be how long it takes them to reunite and if Ed hears about Stede's "dead" or not.

The other side of this that I don't see so discussed is, what is Stede going to do? Because last time we heard his thoughts he was optimistic and in love and bound to be happy with Ed, but finding out what happened in his absence must have an effect we don't know yet. What if he's angry with Ed? What if he's not, but the crew is, and they put preassure on him to get vengeance or something? What if it's Stede the one who has to be performatively violent (really unlikely), or he has to chose between his love for Ed and his responsability as a captain?

Well, as I said nothing of this is new. I just wanted to explain to myself why I don't see that angsty reunion happening, at least not in Ed's side. It became a ramble post. If s2 doesn't come up soon I don't know what might happen with my brain.

PS: I'd personally love someone else (ideally, Jim) punches Stede in the face on Ed's behalf, just because I need Stede getting punched in the face so I can fully forgive him.

I was talking about my relationship with my dad as it is currently, and was like "yh I'm not mad anymore and it doesnt make me feel as sad" but then when telling her about a specific occurrence when I was a child, I cried so much lmao - and then later i was telling my mum about this happening, and recounting the same story I cried even more. So yeah that was something, but yeah I was so mad about it for a while, like wtf is my body playing at, some solidarity would be nice here 😅😂
